Uh, and and my boy finna come out with a book, so y'all need to be looking out for that. Debo, tell us about that briefly, man.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I'm gonna just sidebar on that. Uh, yes, I do have a Twitch channel, but this ain't my first book. This will also be my fourth book. Let's put corrections on that, brother. This ain't my first book.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah, for sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_05

Number four rodeo. Let's let's let's let's put some respect on what your brother been out here doing. I've been doing. You feel me? Yeah, like you've been the same way you've been cooking and feeding the people. You feel me? You feel me? I'm just trying to touch a heart or two for any. You feel me? And I put, listen, I'm not writing this by myself. I'm letting the most high lead me as I write it. You feel? Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_06

For sure for so, as you should, as you should, man. But appreciate that, Debo. Uh Trell, you know what I'm saying? What you got going on, man?

SPEAKER_04

Man, what's up, everybody? As you know, man, my name's Trill, but y'all can follow me on all platforms. I am Domino. I got merch coming out soon that I got working in the process. Um, ain't too much going on, man. You're trying to stay safe and out the way, baby. That's it.

SPEAKER_06

That was up. That was up. So we're gonna pass it along right on to Coombs, man. Coombs, man. What's been going on, man, the music world, dog? Man, look, nothing.

SPEAKER_03

Nothing. Hey, nah, but um, I know last time we talked, we had to talk about music, it was actually like off the podcast. I think it was yesterday or the day before yesterday. We had talked about the um the Jack Harlow new album. So I'm not sure. I I forgot if you finished it or not.

SPEAKER_05

Wait, hold pause real quick. Jack Jack Harlow made an album. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's uh um Jack Harlow.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, we're gonna get back to U trail. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, Jack Jack Harlow, he came out with a new album last week. Um, it's basically a quote unquote RB soul album. Like, he's not rapping on this one. He's is he black? No, nigga, he white, but get out of here real quick. Just just hold on, damn it. Just hold on, get that. But yeah, so I listened to it and I I I rock with it. I think it's pretty it's a pretty smooth album, but you know, it also caused a whole lot of controversy this past week because he said a lot. Basically, he said that with this particular album, he got blacker. Okay, and so of course, you know, everybody felt like you can't, you know, it's kind of offensive. You saying you you're a white rapper trying to transform over to the RB side and claim that your music got blacker, or basically his identity as an artist got blacker. I I know, I know, I know, I know.

SPEAKER_05

I got you so no, because what about what go when you once you finish what I'm about to say is gonna hurt one of the people on the panel, but you know, go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so with that being said, so I had so like I said, I listened to it, I rock with it. I think it's a smooth album. I listened to it more than once. I had E listen to it and he has his opinion on it. E. Okay. Tell him how you feel about it, and then we're gonna go to Debo.

SPEAKER_06

So so basically, how I feel about it is I want Jack Harlow be rapping, basically. Now, does that mean that his his singing album is bad? No, I don't think it was bad. I'm just indifferent to it. It's not it's not my type of album. So it wasn't bad, and it and I will say I would even say that it's a good album, but it's not something that I would like dove back to and be like, oh man, like I gotta listen to that Jack Harlow RB album. That's not something that I'm saying. So uh also with the he got blacker uh comment and interview he had, obviously, he like when I saw it, because I didn't see it when me and Koons talked about it, but I went back and searched it up and I saw it. It wasn't, it really wasn't nothing to get be offensive to. Like it was just he uh it's it's the interviewer was saying that, hey, look, uh he basically compared himself to other artists that went and went off RB and went off rap, like Post Malone and some other white rapper. And he said, No, I'm doubling down. I love the black community, I love their thing, so it's not really nothing to be upset about. He was just speaking his mind. But as far as the album goes, it's good. And I want to find Monica, which is the name of the album, and I want to know who hurt my boy, because he somebody hurt him. And because listen, I don't know if you I don't know if Debo or Trail heard it. Obviously, not Trail because he don't know who Jack Harrow is. I have not heard it yet. Okay, okay, but but before you say anything, you can say something about the black comment, but I encourage y'all to go and listen to the album.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_06

Um, but but uh boy, is he it sounds like he is the hurtest man in the world on that to me. Is it like a rock wave type of hurt? No, no, no, no, it's our it's it's RB, bro. It's RB. He he is this literally singing RB. Huh? Rod Wave is still RB. Oh, oh, you oh you said you I thought you said rock.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no, no. I said is it is it similar to like rod wave type of RB?

SPEAKER_06

Oh no, no, no, no. Still still no, still no, still no. You it's it's more it's more of a a jazz soul type of album.

SPEAKER_05

Like a neo soul music, soul child? Uh yeah, I'll I'll put I'll put it like this.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, you you know you you remember the song way back then called um take a message. Take a message for my love. Oh, yes, it's that type of vibe. Uh yeah, and then on top of that, another thing real quick uh about the title, Monica. They a lot of people basically saying that the reason why he named the album Monica, because if you say it slow, he's trying to say my nigga. My nigga. But if you listen to the album, you can tell it's it's clearly about a woman. But yeah. That's right. So what y'all what y'all think?

SPEAKER_05

Um, all right, go go go go ahead, D. I'm gonna listen. Go ahead and take the floor. The I mean, the only thing I got to say when he says he feels like he's more blacker. I mean, I feel like that should be it shouldn't be looked or frowned upon from a white man if we gonna accept Drake saying it. And Drake never said it, but Drake is half white, half black. So if we gonna accept it half, we might accept it whole. We accept her.

SPEAKER_01

We accept them because they black.

SPEAKER_05

Michael McDonnell is white. He got a black heart. Yes, you do. I keep I keep forgetting. We're not in love with it.

SPEAKER_04

I know Gary Owens.

SPEAKER_05

That's a comedian, dumbass. I mean, he white with a black car. We're talking, we're talking music. Music, not comedian, dumbass.

SPEAKER_06

Wait, John, John B. I did I I do I do where you I do see where you're coming from, 12 trail, but but we are talking music. So if you you like you gotta give like a okay, you're talking about John B.

SPEAKER_05

Nigga.

SPEAKER_01

John B white. He's not American. What he is John B was uh that nigga black to me.

SPEAKER_04

The nigga who sang, guess who wandered where I did? He's white. He never tried to be black.

SPEAKER_05

Bobby yeah, Bobby Caldwell. Bobby Caldwell and Michael McDonald both are in the black community. Hey, the reason Bobby Caldwell he didn't want to show his face because he didn't know if he was gonna be accepted into the black community. Sang folks' music. That's true. That's true. Who's Bobby Caldwell? Bobby Caldwell is the man that made the song. Yeah, you just sung the song. Um, what's about the other one? Michael McDonnell? Yeah, him. Who that is? I keep forgetting, you're not in love anymore.

SPEAKER_03

He did the song all on on my own way, uh Pad LaBelle. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, yeah. Oh no, I ain't stuck about my patty. You got a little pet.

SPEAKER_06

You accept this nigga. Okay, hey, hold on. Okay, so so Debo, so Debo, that that that was your opinion. Trail, do you have any opinion on it at all? I do not at the time because I don't know much about it. And you know what? You know what? That that's that's perfect. In fact, I think that's how most of the black community should have been with with this, because because clearly they don't know Jack Harlow or they don't know his background. So, so okay, so quick question. Okay, Trell, you obviously don't even know who Jack Harlow is. Debo, you know who Jack Harlow is, right? Right. Okay, do do do you know like his background before you started music what he was doing?

SPEAKER_01

Or uh what you said, Trell?

SPEAKER_03

Don't worry about it, don't even worry about it. Don't even don't even ask him what he said, bro. Just leave it alone. You know, Trell and Trell, be quiet, bro.

SPEAKER_06

So be quiet, bro. Okay, hey, okay, so but Bump Trail, let me tell y'all. So Jack Hollow, before he was like like got real big into music and all that, he he was hanging out with Drew Drewski and they would do skits together, they would do jokes, all that. So, so uh Jack Hollow is like a sarcastic, funny type of dude, you know what I'm saying? And he kind of dick with that with his music sometimes, too. Say what? Like Lil Dinky. Kinda, kinda, but but Jack Hollow, but Jack Harlow takes a more serious tone in his music, though. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So, but but but you can still kind of feel his sarcastic sometimes in his music too, and and and in his interviews. So, like with the interview he did, if you know Jack Harlow from his past stuff, you can know he can be sarcastic, he can try to be funny, lots of, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

So yeah, so between Eminem and and uh Drew Carey.

SPEAKER_06

I wouldn't I wouldn't say that. I wouldn't. Nah. You you would do that. Okay, I would, I would, I would encourage you to go just do your research on them real quick after the after the uh podcast.

SPEAKER_04

The first song, I listen to the first song on his album, on the monarch album. I mean, it's not a bad song, but I'll give it a three out of ten.

SPEAKER_06

And look, and look, that that's fine. A lot of people ain't like I said, like I said, I like the album, but it's not something I double back to. It's nice, it's not like I'm uh be like, oh man, I gotta put on that that Jack Harlow album. Yeah, we know you're not gonna be able to do unless he rap. I'll be uh No, I'm not gonna play it in my car.

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna play that motherfucker. As crazy as this sound, and I know I haven't listened to much Jack Harlow. I would probably play Club Husband by T Pain six times before I know how rubber dabby kiss kiss. No, nigga, Club Husband.

SPEAKER_03

You can already say the name of the song.

SPEAKER_05

Literally, literally, they tell me you're not listening here. You haven't selected hearing my guy.

SPEAKER_06

So so um, so uh have have y'all heard uh we're gonna stick with music just a little bit longer, Dan. Have y'all heard like the we we talked we talk we talked about this in the previous episode. I just want to get y'all a quick opinion on it. Have y'all heard like the the songs towards uh 50 cent from um TI Sons?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, clearly Debo has clearly clearly Debo has you know baby you know baby tip gonna check in with the king. You feel me? Now I'm gonna be honest. As a tip fan, I haven't even heard kings this. Yeah, right, right? I heard the money. Of course, I heard the AI makeup that they made for goddamn messiah, which messiah never made one. That was an AI makeup. That was an AI make, but still, the AI make still went hard.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So so so Debo, I'm glad you said that. Me and Coont literally talked about that like on the podcast.

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna be honest. The money actually put the nail in the cocoa.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

And I'm gonna tell you and I'm gonna tell you why. 100%. I'm gonna tell you why. And I'm I don't I don't mean to grab my hat like that, but I gotta grab my hat like that. I gotta tip my hat like that. Because the money kept it to his origin when he did it. He went back to sorry, Miss Jackson, as a sample. That's first of all. And then mind you, instead of him coming off aggressive like his daddy and his brother did, nigga, I don't want to talk to you. I want to talk to your mom. Okay, I know it was brutal. And then he had the nerve to say at the end, I'm sorry, Miss Jack.

SPEAKER_01

It was it was real brutal.

SPEAKER_05

And then murder, he actually said in the song, I don't mind sending your son to come where you are. Your son don't understand. We got people that will do things for us that we ain't even gotta lay a hand on him. Hey, hey, look. I don't think people understood. Just before you come in, hold on. I don't think people understood when Tip said in that track with uh with Kevin Gates, when he said, nigga, I got 80 niggas that'll take a charge. For sure.

SPEAKER_01

80 niggas?

SPEAKER_05

That's a lot.

SPEAKER_01

80 niggas, a lot of niggas.

SPEAKER_05

80 niggas to take one charge. Boy listen.

SPEAKER_06

Boy listen. Look, we we got to put this part right here in the clip, uh Coons, because because look look at trail phase dogs confused as hell. What's going on? Hey, a trail look like the lost the lostest person in the world right now. Like don't know what's going on, uh trail.

SPEAKER_03

Since you so out of the blue with everything, out of touch with the world, what's going on with your world, man? What can you bring to the forefront for us to to talk about or relate to?

SPEAKER_04

Because you just here I am actually pursuing um some business avenues, um, and a career change in the same career, just a different position. So in about four months, I will be stepping to higher finances.

SPEAKER_05

Okay. Can I ask a question?

SPEAKER_01

What's up?

SPEAKER_05

Why you never stepped in nobody's kitchen?

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to do that.

SPEAKER_06

Hey, look, hey, look, that that that that that's a thing. See, it's one thing about having a hobby and then having like uh a career path with it, you know what I'm saying? So I I do feel you. I do feel you on that. So so can can you tell tell us some more about your uh your career change and what what it entails at this time I can't.

SPEAKER_04

Um, but just know that I've still been in the healthcare field, um, I'd be pursuing a higher position. Um, but for my business revenues, um, a few months ago when I was asking our questions, I want to start uh um underwear line. Um that's what I'm pursuing. I can tell you guys about that.

SPEAKER_05

Hey man, look hey, a nigga always need a good pair of briefs. Hey, good nut hug.

SPEAKER_03

No, we come on, let's keep it the beam. We know trail. It's gonna be G-strings. Thank god, thank god. I was just I want you to lean in with that. Just let just you know what I'm saying, box and beefs. That's why I said that extra descriptions, man. You feel what I'm saying? Say something.

SPEAKER_04

There will be a web, there will be a website of all different types of underwear for men and women, okay, and there will be different varieties to choose from. So you go on the site that you like and you purchase what best suits your your nuts. Best I can say. Got some for the bit niggas? Do but they're gonna be my highest market.

SPEAKER_06

All right, well, E. Hey, look, I'm always down to support whatever my brother got going on. So and I I alright saw a little that little cheat shot you sent out, Coombs, but it's all good. Hey, hey, they got two sides, nigga. Hey, all right, so so uh I don't think I think we got enough time. So let's let's let's switch lanes and let's talk about something we can all talk about instead of coomts, and let's talk about anime. Let's get into it.

SPEAKER_03

Anime butterflies inside and shit.

SPEAKER_06

All right, so so this is this is uh coomps' favorite time of the podcast.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, first of all, that shit is so motherfucking misleading. It's not my favorite time, like it's his favorite part of the podcast. I'm just gonna food. I'm happy, I'm happy for you, nigga. You know what I'm saying? That's that's all it is. I'm just happy for you. I ain't go ahead.

SPEAKER_06

All right, so so since since we got we uh we got our guests on here, I'm gonna ask them about their favorite uh anime, and then we're gonna jump into it and then they're gonna explain a little bit. So we're gonna go with Debo first. We are you already got kind of gave me the answer outside the podcast. So tell us about your favorite uh anime and and why it's your favorite.

SPEAKER_05

Uh I'm gonna be honest, I gotta Top two. That's that would be Dragon Ball Z and Baki.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Baki. Baki is one thousand four. You feel me? But um, I've always been I've been stuck with DBZ, y'all know, since since Jit days. You feel me? That that that goes back to elementary. You feel me? That that go back to us rushing home from school, nigga finish homework, all that shit. So you can get in front of that TV, get that episode for a day and a half charge up. You feel me? You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06

All you're doing is making noises until you turn Super Saiyan.

SPEAKER_05

But to be all honest, dog, um, Dragon Ball Z has always been my go-to anime, and I'll be honest, it's not because of Kakarot. I've never been a Goku fan, even since a kid. Okay. Piccolo and Vegeta have always been my top two. Over anybody, any day. Like, I don't give a damn who you call. He's my top two of calling. You feel me? And the only reason I say that is because out of everybody that's really been on the show, or in an episode, no matter which universe they've actually made canon, Vegeta and Piccolo are the main two characters that have given their life for everyone. I mean, hold on now.

SPEAKER_06

Goku has too now. He has too. He has, bruh. Look, that's the truth. He has. I'm just telling this, I'm just speedy, speaking facts.

SPEAKER_05

Goku, go forgive me for how I'm finna say this, but Goku is just like, just like goddamn, whatcha call it, just like Naruto. Y'all soft. You're soft. You keep sitting here trying to plead with this nigga why he needs to be good. Be like Vegeta and be like Scase. Be like Sasuke. Off his ass. That's why I see listen. Like, even when it comes to Naruto, I don't like, I'm not a big fan of the of the hot people. Listen, my guy is my favorite person of all time. Why? Because he only knows Tai Jitsu. That's all he know. He don't know nothing else. He can't have no chakra, none of that. We ain't gotta sit here and do finger signs, gang bang on nobody.

SPEAKER_06

We train is these hands. Is these hands. So so so let's let's switch it because we got we gotta get the trail too. So tell tell us about Baki. So tell us about Baki.

SPEAKER_05

When it comes to Baki, bro, that that right there, it it to have a storyline so in-depth between generation of bloodline and how much listen again, you're gonna catch these hands, nigga. Young General Hanma took out a full military by himself with no gun. All hands.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, they scared of him. Come on now.

SPEAKER_05

They scared of him. God damn, what what what what Ali's uh Ali the uh Sadiq said your boy had a cobra back? You had a demon back. He fee he fleshing them muscles, he sees a phase of that. Flex on a nigga, hit the flex on a nigga. Hit the flex on him.

SPEAKER_06

Hey, but hey, look, Baki, but Baki gonna be be forever be wanting them shows because we go from Bachy the grappler all the way up to it's a new season of Baki. Have you seen the new season?

SPEAKER_05

Um, that's what I ain't got yet. That's what I ain't got yet. Reason being, because I keep going back to watch the fight between him and his daddy. Bruh, I'm telling you, every time I watch it, I swear I see something small and different than the first time I watched it. Because it's like when you see how they really animated between them two, and then what everybody else sees, and then your granddaddy's spirit just show up in the middle of the fight just to tell you, oh, you can beat your daddy, he really ain't that strong. Alright.

SPEAKER_06

God dang, spoiler alert so people ain't like that ain't my fault.

SPEAKER_05

That ain't my fault. They should have been caught up. Look here. Listen, if I'm a spoiler alert, then people gonna hate me when it comes to DBZ because I've read up on the manga. The manga done got so far, bro, that people don't understand. There's a top five of the motiver. Oh, oh, for sure, sure it is. I'm gonna ask a I'm gonna ask a prime question and then I'm gonna be two. That what I'm gonna answer with, I'm gonna answer the question, but you're gonna answer my question. What did 18 ask for at the end of the tournament of power?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, now I I it's been a minute, so I ain't forgotten.

SPEAKER_01

Go a go ahead and answer it.

SPEAKER_05

He said he asked for them to restore he asked for them to restore all of the all of the universes that were destroyed, correct? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what happened. Yeah. Now, what they didn't tell us, what they didn't tell us was all of the other six universes that was destroyed before we only knew that there was 12. Come to find out there was 18. All of those universes as well are now back. Oh yeah, with the evil people in it now. Yep. And oh, it gets even deeper. There's two new universes also added in.

SPEAKER_06

Hold on, D. I'm gonna cut, I'm gonna cut you off. Yeah, I'm gonna cut you off. I'm gonna get I'm gonna we're gonna go to Trail. We run out of time. Go to Trail. So, Trail, tell us about your your um your favorite anime and why you like it, man. Uh, right now it's two.

SPEAKER_04

Um at Journey's End and Tale of the Wedding Rings. Those are my top two animes right now. Freeman is the GOAT. I love Freeman. That motherfucking elk is powerful as fuck. Freeman is the goat. Can't nobody stop her. Okay, and tell go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. Tales of the wedding ring. You trying to tell me you got this high school boy who go to this other world, marry these five princes from different lands to get power, and you married them, but you ain't smashing none of them. You talking about so you want to respect their bodies? You got a whole harem of girls that's willing to throw you some coochie and you don't want to. I'm just like, and that's on season two right now. Both of them got season two, and I finished season two of free win, and I'm about to finish season two of a wedding's um Tales of the Wedding Rings. Okay, where can I find Netting? YouTube or Crunchyroll?

SPEAKER_06

Okay, so so so so free. I don't think Freerin on um on Netflix yet, right? Yes, it is. No, no, season two, season two ain't on Netflix. Okay, but you can find season one on Netflix though. And uh what about the other one? Crunchyroll. Crunch roll. I hate Crunch Roll. I feel saying you two, but but but whatever.

SPEAKER_05

YouTube over there.

SPEAKER_06

Um, so let me let me speak on Frearin real quick. Uh for one, Trell is correct. Frewing is the goat. Okay, ain't nobody messing with friend, and and and the storyline of Frearin, it is very good, very, very good. The adventure, how they keep going back and forth the between the past uh crew and the and the the uh the crew that she got now, it is very, very good. And and if you want to go a little you know biblical with it, every time she sees a demon, every time it's on site. Oh you hear me? It is on site. Oh you you a demon? Zol Trust, nigga like on sight was a person, it'll be fearing.

SPEAKER_04

It's fearing. Okay, all fear got to do is hear a whisper of a demon. Yeah, you got to die. Yeah, you got to die. We got the hand over here.

SPEAKER_06

Nah, nah, I can't I can't speak on the other one yet. I think I wouldn't. Hold on, D, hold on, D. I can't speak on the other anime, but I am gonna give it a what was the name of it again? Uh, Tales of the Wedding Rings. All right, I'm gonna tell I'm gonna check that out. I'm always looking for new animes to watch, don't matter what it is. It's the only anime I I can't watch is like the gore, like, like Parasite. I can't watch Parasite, it's too glory to me. Parasite, yeah. Yeah, I can't do it. It's just too much for me.

SPEAKER_04

Uh rumor that they might there might be a season two of Wise Man's Grandson.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah, I heard that's your favorite. I well, I ain't gonna say that's your favorite, but you really like that one. I remember.

SPEAKER_04

Never heard of it. Basically, it's about this boy who uh gets adopted by Merlin. It's it's a it's a good one, D. It's a good one.

SPEAKER_06
