The Father seekest them because they are the true worshippers, and they worship him spirit and in truth.  They are real in their living for him, and this s what pleases the Lord about them.  Are you a true worshipper, do you know if God is seeking you to worship him in spirit and in truth?

This morning, I want to this morning I want to deal with a area. I've dealt with it before, but I want to add to the knowledge of it. I want to add more knowledge to this particular area of study to bring us even more aware of this particular area. I want to deal in the area, bring more knowledge to the area of what it means to be a true worshiper. I want to deal with this morning, this day we're living in there is a generation of true worshipers. Regardless of what is going on, regardless of what people may say, regardless of what we may know or not know, regardless if we are part of it or not a part of it, there is a people that exist and has always existed from generation to generation. God has always had a generation of true worshipers. Now you can go all the way back, which I don't have time to do, but in your study time, trust me on this. Because I'm not going I'm not going to tend to leave nobody wrong when it comes to the word of God. You can go all the way back to the book of Genesis, and you'll find that the Bible speaks about when men first began to call upon the name of the Lord. This was after Seth was born. You remember Adam and Eve, the first three boys they had, Abel, Cain, and Abel. Of course, Cain killed Abel. I'm just making a long story short. And God replaced Abel and allowed Eve to conceive again, and that son was named Seth. And after Seth was born, the Bible speaks of a generation of men when they first began to call upon the name of the Lord, begin to pray, or to begin to really worship God, was after that time Seth came upon earth. And from that time up until now, God has always had a people. What we're going to be calling this morning and in this course of study, true worshipers. Now look at what it's saying now. The Bible speaks of even Jesus spokes about true worshipers. Because you got people that worship they way, but that's not necessarily true worship. I want us to understand it. I want to take my time with this because I want to add to the knowledge of what we think we already know about being a true worshipper. The Bible speaks of a lot of things when it comes to holiness. You'll find, if you study the Bible, you'll find the Bible talks about true holiness. There's a holiness and there's a true holiness. And I was meditating yesterday, and and the Holy Ghost just spoke out to me and said, there's a difference. There are believers and there are true believers. I hear a whole lot of people say they believe. I believe. I believe in the Bible. I believe in the word of God. But there's also a true believer. A true believer is a person who's not just gonna be satisfied with believing, they're gonna live according to what they believe. Everybody don't live according to what they believe. They believe, but they ain't living according to what they believe. A true believer, their life consists of living on what they now know the word of God now has taught them. And when it comes to true worshipers, those are people who realize it's not a word. If you ain't worshiping God in truth, spirit in truth, you're not really worshiping God. The reason I say it like that is, it's because God only accepts true worship. We might as well understand that this morning. Let me tell you something. Let us understand what worship is. But I have learned if it ain't in the word of God, I'm not gonna just pacify that what I was taught and just keep calling it right when it wasn't. We sometimes have been taught things in ignorance. Without, and I'm talking about when I say ignorance, without a true knowledge of what something really means. And when you don't have a true knowledge of something and you're doing something out of your ignorance, you tend, you more likely is gonna tend to do that thing in error. I was brought up during a time where if the service didn't turn into a shouting service, we have not worshiped God. And that's sad because that's not true. True worship, let me say, let me let me break this down. I said, this is probably gonna be two part. I'm not gonna rush this thing because I want to I want this to dissect this thing correctly and properly. Let us understand something. I'm gonna go to the scripture in a minute where the Bible says, the Father seeketh such to worship him, and God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The first thing is that God is a spirit. And see, in order to worship God, you got to be able to have some type of connection to his spirit. Now, the reason I said that is we were taught that doing something physical was tapping into God. Don't get me wrong, if something on the inside, if there is a spiritual manifestation on the inside of you, there are times it may have an outward physical manifestation when it comes to the shout and the running around the church and doing all those things. But if that's all you if that's all you're using to define that you have now worshiped God, you have defined something amiss. Because I'm here to tell you, true worship, true worship begins in the heart. And when I say heart, I'm talking about your spirit, true worship, real worship, when it comes to God, begins in the heart. You remember how God he spoke to Isaiah, said this people honors me with their mouth and their lips. Mouth and lips. But he also said, But the heart is far from me. True worship, saints of God, starts in the heart. And let me hear, let me, let me go on say this too. Until we realize that and understand that, we got to accept the truth. Now here comes some hard, here come some hard, raw truth I'm finna give you. I'm finna give you some hard, raw truth. Especially for those of us who've been in church most of our lives. It is a good chance, and I'm willing, and I'm trying to be nice, that a lot of the worship we have done over the years in what we claim to be worship toward God, based on what the word teaches, has been in vain. Because it has not been true worship. It has been what we have been taught to do. It's what we have been expected to mimic. When we see folks shouting in the church and feel like they just, we just oh look like the spirit just own them. But I'm here to tell you, hallelujah. I'm here to tell you, there is a worship of God that may not have you running around the room doing none of that. I ain't saying that none of that. Oh, that's good if it's if it's right, done right now. But I'm saying there are there is a worship, hallelujah, that can be bubbling on the inside of you. That is more of a true worship to God than running up to the front of the church, letting everybody see how how pretty you shout. And I'm here to tell you, the God that I serve, the God that I worship, is not and has never accepted anything in the area of worship, except it be and has been true worship. There's a reason why the scripture said Jesus Himself said, the Father seeketh, sir. God is looking for those that are real. God is looking for those that are true. Because out of a real person and out of a true person is gonna come true worship in spirit and in truth. See, most let's let me let me let me go cut this up a little bit more. So I can help somebody. Those that are true worshipers today, those that have been true worshipers of old, of the past, our brothers and sisters that are coming along, those that who were true worshipers during whatever generation that they were brought up in, let me say this to you. It was God that made them so. You don't make yourself a true worshiper. You don't create the spirit of a true worshiper in your own self. If you are a true worshiper, let me just share this with you. God has put that in you. I can't tell you why. All I know, I can tell you, it was Him. And of course, in order for us to be what we are through Christ Jesus, God has made that possible. You remember why there's a reason why Jesus said, no man cometh to the Father but by me. That means whether you come to the Father in true worship, in faith, in living for him, in whatever form you have come to God, it was because God has drawn you to him. No man cometh to the Father but by me. God has drawn you through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his purpose, for whatever his reasons may be. We didn't even come to the mind of being saved on our own. You didn't wake up one morning and just of your own thinking decide you want to be saved. Something drew you. Something drew you and I. I know I, well, let me speak for myself. I know I didn't come to God on my own. Something bothered me. It was like something a spirit was on me or something. I had to get to the church. I told y'all, I left out of my house walking, striking out, didn't know where I was going. Didn't know no church or having no church service that night or nothing. But when I went down a certain street, I looked in the distance, and there was a church having service that night. God drew me, and it bothered me. I couldn't sit in my house any longer. I'm just saying, if you have come to God in any way, any form, as a true worshiper, as a true believer, to live in true holiness, to live in true righteousness, it was God that drawed you. It was God that planted that seed in your spirit to come to Him. It was God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that drew you. So if you are a true worshiper today, or if God spirit is moving on you to come to him to be a true worshiper, that's because of God. And God makes choice of who he wants to make choice of. David said, Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me. That's the spirit of a true worshiper. Everything in you want to bless God. A true worshiper. See, worship, like I said, worship ain't just shouting out. Worship is how you live every day. That shows worship to God. Worship is a wife, how she treats her husband, how she talks to her husband every day. That's worship to God. If you do it according to the word of God, you honor your husband according to where the word is, that's worship unto God. A husband watches how he speaks and treats his wife based on what the word says. As Christ loves the church, that's worship unto God. Parents, how they treat their children according to the word, that's worship unto God. Serving him. Co-workers, workers until how you treat co-workers on your job and carry yourself before him is worship before God. Not letting your mouth say stuff because other folks say it. Keeping your focus on what the word teaches. That's worship unto God. That's service unto God. That's praise unto God. That's blessing the name of God because of how you live. We ain't blessing God doing things our way. We ain't worshiping God doing things our way. A true worshiper has committed himself to the word. And when a true worshiper commits himself to the word, that means he has committed himself to doing right before God in spirit and in truth. Because the Father seeketh such true worshipers unto himself, this would mean that such worshipers are very rare. It's not popular to be a true worshipper, a worshipper of God in this generation. You might as well understand that. Don't get in this thing thinking you're finna be popular. Don't get in this thing thinking you're going to be recognized. Get in this thing to please God and Him only. Such worshippers are very rare and seldom met with. True worshipers are few in number. Because you got a whole lot of people pretending, hypocriting, fake Jake. But the true worshipper, regardless of what's going on in the world and how corrupt and evil it is, the true worshipers are here. God got a people, because the word says he got a people. And they serve only God. You got people that ain't gonna serve nobody, they're gonna do right, even if nobody treats them right. They gonna do good even if good don't come their way. They gonna talk right even if nobody talks right to them. Because I'm telling you about a true worshipers mentality. I'm telling you about a true worshipers' focus. They do everything to keep their mind focused on the one they're trying to please, and that's God. When evil comes their way, when wrong comes their way, they maintain a focus. No, I got to do right because my father wants me to do right. Somebody might be standing there cussing you out. You still ain't gonna let yourself get on that level because it ain't them you trying to please. You trying to please the father. I want to walk away from this situation knowing that I've done what the father would have me do, and not get on the level of man. Let me read I want to read you something. I want to read you something that Jeremiah said. Before I get deep off in this, I want to read you something. You got your Bible this morning. Go to the get go to the book of Jeremiah. I want to read you something of one of the old prophets said about a people, a true worshiping people. That God spoke through him and said some things. Just go to Jeremiah's chapter chapter 30. I think it's what I want, yeah. Jeremiah chapter 30. I'm gonna read a few scriptures. I just want you to listen and let your spirit grab a hold of the truth that's in these words spoken by God through Jeremiah the prophet. Jeremiah chapter 30. I'm gonna I'm gonna start reading. I I think it's I'm gonna start reading at verse 17, and I'm gonna I think I'm gonna go all the way to verse 22. But in your study time, read the read that 30th chapter. Even though at this particular time, the context of this this these words are spoken to the children of Israel, they have a strong impact on those of us by faith live for God today as true worshippers. Just listen to the word of God with your spirit, your spiritual ear. He that has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church. Listen at this. This is what God said to Jeremiah. Verse 17 for I will restore health. Unto thee. And I will heal thee of thy wounds, says the Lord. Because they called thee an outcast. Hold up now. Anybody ever been called an outcast? For living right. For doing right. I treated like you was an outcast. Think what God said, for thus says the Lord, because they called thee an outcast. Living saved. Letting folk talk to you any kind of way. I wouldn't take that if I were you. You must be crazy. Treat you like you're asking, like you're nobody. Treat you like you're weak. Don't realize that you're strong in the Lord. Because they called you that kind, saying, This is Zine. This won't be the church. This way, this won't be God's people, whom no man seek out. Ain't nobody trying to live that kind of way. Ain't nobody seeking that kind of lifestyle. But you're wrong. Somebody gonna live for God. Next verse says, Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will bring again the captain of Jacob's tent, and I have and have mercy on his dwelling place. And the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving. When your mind is on the Lord, I don't mean no harm. Yeah, we go through a lot of things. And we're persecuted. Sometimes, some days, trouble on every side. But a true worshiper is gonna always have a spirit of giving things. They're gonna always say, Lord, I thank you. Woo! Woo! No matter what you're going through, see you take on the role of a foolish person. Because you saying thank you. And you just come out of a trial, tribulation. And out of them shall perceive, and what's coming, what's preceding means coming out of is Thanksgiving. I thank you, Lord. And the voice of them that make merry, merry, this merry me, rejoicing. They're happy. Don't let stuff get them down, then it don't never stick. Don't get me wrong. We get this carrying, we go through that, but it don't stick. We shake it off. Keep on going. The voice of them that make merry, and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. God's gonna have a people. He's gonna multiply those. Just watching it last day. It's gonna be a lot of people you wouldn't think come to God, gonna come to God. God gonna multiply his people. This is what got me. When he said, I will also glorify them. And they shall not be small. Talk about that number. But that word glorify. You know, when I read this, in my mind immediately went to St. John the 17th chapter, when Jesus was praying and asked the Father to glorify him. And there's another passage of scripture where God speaks to him and says, I have both glorified your name, and then God said, I will glorify it again. But here, I understand him glorifying Jesus, but here he's saying, I will glorify them. Talk about us. And to glorify mean to exalt, to bring honor to. Do you know that God will honor those who will live or dare to live a true worshipper's life? Do you not know God will exalt you? God will honor you, God will glorify you for his name's sake, man. Because you have yielded yourself to honor him in spirit and in truth. God will glorify you. He said, I will glorify them. I will also glorify them. That's done by God. You can't glorify yourself. That's why I can't stand folks be trying to look for glory from men. Forget that. You don't need no glory from no man. You should more be more concerned about being getting glory from God, not man. Let me read the rest of this. He said, their children also shall be as a four times, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. Let me just bag up this for a second when it's talking about your children. True worshippers, let me tell you something. It's very vital that if we have children as true worshipers of God, that they see us worshiping the Father in spirit and truth. Our children should see the life that we live before God. But it's sad to say a lot of our children don't even see us worship God. That's why I know we ain't true worshippers. Because even our children, see, this is a lifestyle. This is not a turn-on, turn off thing. Turn it on when you come to church, turn it off when you go home. Uh-huh. It should still be in the own position, even when you in your home, living before your children, when you go around your kin folks, when you go around your co-workers, when you round strangers in the stove. This lifestyle should be up on you. And it's sad when it comes to our children that we have not passed on the examples of a true worshipper so that they too can come up in the knowledge of what it means to worship God in spirit and in truth. We have a responsibility. If you serve God, your children ought to serve God. And that served servitude, the atmosphere that you live in, should reign down over them just by the mere fact of them living in the atmosphere of a true worshiper in the home. And if that ain't happening, something is wrong. Don't sit down and read the Bible with your children no time. Don't pray with them at night, no time. Don't pray with them in the morning, no time. Don't ask them a question about the Lord. Don't share your knowledge with them about the Lord. But let them come on on that TV. They know all about it. Foolishness. But a true worshipper. The Bible says, their children also shall be as a four time. And their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. God is going to protect you, and God gonna protect your children. And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them. Now, I don't have time to go into it, but that governor that's talking about Jesus, who's gonna be our governor. You have time to study in your study time. I'm trying to just make a point here this morning. I can't break down all of this at one time. And I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me. For who is this that engage? Listen at this. A true worshiper comes to God. A true worshipper approaches God out of spirit and truth. Listen at, listen at what the Lord is speaking to Jeremiah. I will cause him to draw near. See, no man comes this far unless God draws you near to him. And he shall approach unto me. Come unto God. When you're a true worshipper, you're trying to get, you're approaching unto God, not man, you're trying to get close to God. But who is this that engaged? Who are you that have engaged your heart? Listen at that. To approach me. So you gotta come to God with your heart. Who is this that are come to me and approach me and engage and coming into me with their heart? Said the Lord. But listen to what he said in that 22nd verse. He said, And ye shall be my people. You don't come, you come to me, you approach me from your heart, you shall be my people, and I will be your God. Listen to that. This time true worshippers. You be real with God, God will be real with you. And you know this scripture ties in with James where the Bible says, draw nigh unto me and I will draw nigh unto you. You draw nigh to God, he'll draw nigh to you. You approach God out of realness, out of truth, and see what God draw to you. You show God that you want to be his people. You show God that you want to be a true worshipper. The Father seeketh such to worship him. He's looking for you. God wants true worshipers. God don't want no fake people. That's why so many of us, our worship, have never been received. Our service has never been received. See, you definitely sit up and think you got some time in. I put some time in because I didn't I didn't miss a night at the revival. I haven't missed a Sunday. And you sit up in your mind and think that that done went on the books toward your service toward God, but the books still say zero when you look at it from God's perspective. Because God ain't gonna accept anything. If you didn't come there with your heart in the right place, if you didn't come now with your heart with the right attitude of heart, sincerity, seriousness, focus on God. I was reading, I don't know, was it yesterday, day for yesterday, one of. I was reading that passage of scripture that says, Not everyone that comes unto me that says unto me, Lord, Lord. Just because you say, Lord, Lord, we can't how many times we done say thank you, Jesus, at the church? How many times we done cried out to him at the church? And if God was to really just give you a annual report, some of all that we done hollered out and screamed at ain't ain't went on the books nowhere, as true worship. Cause our heart was somewhere else. Do you not know you can be sitting in the church and your heart and mind be somewhere else? And not on the things of God, not where they ought to be, in true worship toward God. And I'm gonna tell you something else. The Bible don't just say truth, he says spirit and in truth. Do you not know in order to really serve God in spirit and in truth, you know what that's really saying? There's got to be something in our spirit that connects with his spirit. If you don't have that connection with God, a spiritual connection with God, you can't be a true worshiper. Because you, if there's nothing in you that connects you to God, how can your worship get to God? If you ain't paid your phone bill, how can you communicate out to somebody if you don't have an open connection to be able to communicate out to others over the phone line? How can that be possible? Unless the phone line, you have an open line that when you call on the phone, it goes through because of a connection that you have through your phone carrier. And if you ain't got no open connection to God, it ain't going through. And you can't make it go through just no matter how much tears and how much knots you slay, you can't make it go through. Because the word, you ain't gonna you ain't gonna change the word. God is a spirit, and they that worship him must. Worship him in spirit and in truth. There has to be a connection, and y'all know the scripture always used to bag that up. Let me just turn to it right quick. Let me find that. That's Romans 8. Romans 8 and 16. I'm I'm I'm just gonna skip to that right quick. I'm coming, let me let me come, I'm gonna come back to Jeremiah. Romans 8 and 16 said, the spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. That must, the spirit of God must bear witness. And that bear witness means the spirit of God must know. Let me say it like this the spirit of God knows his own spirit. And if a piece of his spirit is in you, his spirit is gonna recognize that. Because God can't deny himself. The Holy Ghost knows when you got the Spirit of God in you. That's how it can bear witness. To bear witness means it's something in you that God knows. And it's that part of him in you that he knows through the Holy Ghost. That when he comes to you and he bears witness to the true worship that's in you, he recognizes that because he sees some of himself in you. Now, if some of him is not in you, he can't recognize that. Other words, he can't bear witness to that until you get some of him in you through the Holy Ghost. And I know this wrong teaching, but we must understand in this day, it's time to be set to be made free by the truth. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. It's time to know the truth, it's time to stop being deceived and deceiving ourselves and thinking we got something that we ain't. One thing we need to know is the gate of spiritual worship is straight. You remember when the word of God says straight is the gate? The gate of spiritual worship is straight. You're gonna have to live a straight. When I say straight, I ain't saying, I'm not saying perfect in the way the world means perfect. I'm talking about straight according to what the word teaches. In other words, we've got to do just what the Bible said do. We're gonna have to live just what how the Bible says live. And you can't cut no corners. This is a straight life, a holy life. If the Bible said do it, we should find ourselves striving to live accordingly. If the Bible said don't do it, we should find ourselves resisting and being obedient, not to be doing those things that the Bible says stop doing. The gate of spiritual worshiping is straight. Such worship is necessary. You're gonna please God, this life is necessary. And it is what God of heaven insists upon. God ain't finna change. I know a lot of people, God love me, he loves you. Yes, he does. But God is truth, and he means for us, even in our worship, that's why he put that on there. We got to not worship me just in spirit only, but in truth, we got to do what's right. What thus says the Lord. When God comes to inquire for worshipers, the question will not be who worship in the biggest churches, who didn't miss a service. Because some people come to church and they better. I don't mean no harm. But they might have been better off if they never did come. Because if they didn't, if their heart did they if they didn't bring their heart, they ain't gonna get nothing no way. They're gonna leave the same way they came. That's how they're gonna leave. Because they didn't bring their heart to worship God. You might as well stay at the house. Because you ain't got nothing, you didn't get nothing. I don't mean no home. It's not gonna be who worship in the biggest churches, but who worship what God is looking for, who come to worship me in spirit and in truth. Oh, saints of God. God will be greatly well pleased if we would just come in that spirit to worship him accordingly. And he will graciously accept such worship and such worshipers if we just do it right. Listen, there has been and will be until the end, there will always be a remnant of such worshipers. God, I can't stress this enough. I just want to be a part of the number. God is always gonna have a people, and he are it's gonna be a remnant. I mean, it's gonna be small in comparison to the many people in the world, but trust me, God is gonna always have a people. He always gonna have a remnant. There's gonna be some people, there are people right now, I don't know all of them, I don't know where all of them at, but I believe it's in my spirit because I believe what the word teaches. There are people right now, you can hit them in the head with a baseball bat, and they still won't leave God. You can knock them unconscious, they ain't gonna, they ain't not finna turn their back on God. What I'm saying is if it calls their life, they Will refuse to disown God, even if you threaten them. You remember how Paul and them was threatened? Paul Nim and his missionary journey, they were read some of the missionary journeys that Paul went on. A lot of times some of the cities, they will get threatened and folks said, You better not come back up in here preaching about no Jesus Christ no more. We're gonna beat you again and we're gonna throw you in prison again. Threaten them. But did they stop? No, they did not. You ain't gonna even read nowhere where they was even scared. And they done split their backs open, gave them a bloody bat, beat them with rods and throw them in prison. They down there in jail singing and praying. Because they were true worshippers. They were sold out because he was not gonna disown God. Even if it called out. What Paul, you remember he told them one time they told him, even some of the church folks told him, Man, don't go down there. You know they told they were gonna kill you. They were gonna kill you, then you come back down there. Read your Bible. It's in there. You know what Paul said? He said, none of these things move me. In other words, what y'all saying, they said they gonna do, that don't move me, that don't shake me. Because if it's the will of God for me to go, that's what's gonna happen. But if it is not God's will, it ain't gonna happen. None of these things move me. I don't get the other way who said I don't get shaken up because what people may dust said. I serve God. And if he require my life, it's his. But I'm gonna keep on serving him till my time is done. There has been and will be until the end a remnant of such worshipers. His seeking such worshipers implies his making them such. God makes us true worshipers. Keep living for him. If you ain't a true worship, let's say let's say you were just a worshiper right now. You ain't really just true 100%. Keep living for him. Keep walking with him. I was thinking about that the other day. Reading about and thinking about Enoch. Well, the Bible says Enoch walked with God. Woo! Oh have a mercy. That means he lived for God. He had faith in God. He worshiped God. He pleased God. Keep living. Keep listening to the word of God. Keep reading your Bible. Keep praying. Keep fasting. And you're gonna find what God is gonna create in you is a spirit of a true worshipper. Because we we we doing this of ourselves. You know how some of us, you got some people, they drift from God whatever year past. They get fallen, fall away from God. Okay. The Bible tells us about that. He tells us, the Bible tells us there's gonna be a great falling away. There's gonna be some people that turn from God, go the other way. Okay, but then that's another group, too. Let me flip this thing over. There are some people, hallelujah. Hallelujah. The more they stay with God, the closer they get to God. The more they live a saved life, the more they live a holy life, the closer they get to God. See, there's something in this world. There's something in the flesh, and there's something in the enemy that constantly wants to pull us away from God if we let it. But you got a group of people, you got this remnant that I'm talking about, these true worshipers I'm talking about, you got the this group of people whose mind, like David, whose minds and hearts are fixed to live for God. They done gave up all their desires, they done gave up all what they want to do in life, but they have totally dedicated themselves to doing what it takes to get closer to God. Even if it means not having that thing that they wanted to accomplish in their life, they have given that time to seeking more God, to live it more for Jesus. And they're not disappointed in that, they're not unhappy about that, they are glad about that. Let me tell you, let me tell you something, let me tell you something. The more you get God in your life through worship, through servitude, through praise, through living. Let me tell you something gonna happen. You cannot draw nigh to God, and something about you don't change. You can't, it's not possible. If you draw nigh to God, something about you is going to change. And I'm just talking, I'm not talking about just an ordinary change. I'm talking about a transformation. You will be transformed, changed into something more godlier than you have ever been. And that's that's a that circuit there is leading me, will lead me to the point where for us coming to the knowledge of what it means when we become that new creature. See, it's that new creature that see, you get close to God, you're gonna change into that new creature. You're gonna change into that image of Christ. And the more you change into those things of God, the more you come into a truer knowledge of what it is he wants you to be. We got to get into this frame of mind and understand God has created us for himself. He didn't create us for us to be out here doing what we want to do. He didn't make you for you, he made you for him. And he, through the blood of Jesus, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is trying to transform us and change us into the image of his dear son. Through the relationship that he wants to have with us, through the connection that he wants to have, his spirit and our spirit connected as one. Father, make them one as we are one. How are you gonna do that, God? Because my spirit in them connects with the spirit that's in me. And I can now bear witness with my children, those who I have called to be true worshipers, to serve me in spirit and the truth. God has always had a people. Do y'all mean don't can't we see that God is trying to draw, he's causing a gathering of certain people unto himself for his purpose, for his glory? God is in all ages gathering to himself, a generation of spiritual true worshipers, those who will magnify his name, those who will glorify him, those who will be real, those who will be examples in this world of what he would have us to be. Now, this is Jesus talking. He said this in the book of St. John, chapter 4, 23, verses 23 and 24. He said that Jesus said this in the book of John, fourth chapter, 23, but the hour cometh, and it's already here. It's now is for every generation, even in this generation, regardless of what you may see. Because see, don't let the don't let the devil, don't let the world cause you to stay focused on what all the bad that's going on in the world, all the diseases, all the wars, the rumors of war, all the pandemics, all the to keep your focus off of who God is. The power is not in what's going on in the world. The power is in God. And our focus should remain on him. I don't care if half of the earth falls off. God is still in control. The time is now. When the true works, it's time for the true worshiper to stand and be recognized and to proclaim to the world that I am a true worshipper and I worship God. I don't care what the government says, I don't care what the president says, I don't care what the medical doctors say. The true words shall worship the Father. It's time to show God that in spite of everything that's going on, I still worship you. I still worship you. And I worship you in spirit and in truth. If I don't be true to nothing else, I want to be true to God. If my spirit don't connect to nothing else, I want my spirit to always be able to connect to God. Because the Father, that's what he's seeking. And anything God is seeking, y'all, that should be of interest to us. We should be interested in what God wants. What he's seeking. One of my favorite scriptures, I got I got a whole lot of favorite scriptures. But one of my favorite scriptures is He that cometh to God must believe. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I can be quoting that word, and that word hit me. A spiritual thing about the word hit me. He that cometh to God. Be a real true worshipper. He that cometh to God must. Hallelujah. Believe that he is. And if you ever read that, after that word is, is a comma. That means a fall. It don't tell you, believe that he is. It lets you to fill in, leave you to fill in. What you want. Believe because you can believe that he's a healer. You can believe that he is God. You can believe that he is all powerful. You can believe that he's your father. You can put anything there. Believe that he is. Then the writer goes and say, and that he is a rewarder. Listen at that. Listen at that. That he, he means God, is a rewarder of them who is the deal. The true worshipers that diligently seek him. Now, God, we just read what Jesus said to John, God seeking you. But we also let the Bible tells us to seek him. He's a reward of them that diligently seek him. That means you won't, you ain't got satisfied, you got God, but you ain't satisfied with just what you got. You diligently seeking more of him. You got to have more of him. Because the more you draw nigh to God, the more he draws nigh to you. And God ain't coming in hand. He's coming with the blessings of his spirit. He's coming with the blessings of his word. He's coming with the blessings that he has and ready to bestow on all those that would be a true worshiper. What? The Father seeketh such to worship him. You know why God wants true worship? Because he knows them the ones going to worship him right. Jesus never could stand hypocrites. And if Jesus can't stand hypocrites, that means God can't stand them either. God know. Those that serve him in spirit and in truth, them the ones gonna worship him the right way. And those that search of him right are gonna be the very ones that please him. And you can never go wrong pleasing God. And you might not please man, you might not please everybody, because that ain't possible. But if you're able to tap into what it takes to please God, you're gonna be glad you did. There's a blessing in pleasing God. As saints of God, we worship the Father, our the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is required of all that worship God that they worship Him in spirit and in truth. This is required of us. And if we ain't doing what is required of us, we're doing it wrong. It's got to be done the way God wants it done. It's got to be done the way God wanted to be done. According to the word of God. He said to the to the uh, see, Paul was a true worshiper. But one thing I remember he said to the church in Philippi, if you ever read Philippians 3 and 3, he says, For we are the circumcision, talking about spiritual circumcision now, which worship God in the spirit. This is how he said that. And rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh. You cannot please God or worship God according to the way your flesh want to do it. We worship God in the spirit. Philippians 3 and 3. Until we understand, true worship begins in the spirit, the heart of man. That's coming out of our heart, the spirit of who we are in God. And if we want to be a part of that, that group of people, we better get this thing right and serve him in spirit and in truth. I'm not gonna finish, I'm gonna have to do a part two. I'm gonna have to do a part two uh next Sunday. Lord say the same. Um strive to be a part of the generation of true worshipers. Hear me. If you haven't been doing it, start striving from this day forward to be a part of the generation of true worshipers that God is seeking. You don't see what God, you don't read what God is seeking, no other kind of people, but those that will be true worshipers. His true people. And when we read in Jeremiah, he said, You will be my people and I will be your God. If you just get real with me. But it's so hard for people to be real with God and to be truthful with God if we first have not learned how to be true with our own selves. How can you be true in another area of your life if you first ain't true with your own your own self? Some of us won't tell the truth about ourselves. And until we come to the truth of ourselves, how can you step into the truth of who God is and what he wants you to do? Still lying to yourself, still deceiving yourself when you know you need help, when you know you need to be delivered, when you know you need to be saved, when you know you need to be filled with the Holy Ghost, when you know you ain't living according to the word, when you you know some things you ain't doing, but we still won't tell the truth. We still won't. You ain't gotta tell the truth to me. I'm talking about tell it to God, confess it to God and get it right. So that we can start living the life that he will have us to lead. Don't lose your soul behind foolishness. I was reading, the Bible said, He that does righteous is righteous. If you just do right, live right. And God, the book said God will glorify you, he will exalt you, he will honor you. Because you've honored him by being in obedience to his word. I have to finish up next Sunday, y'all. I just can't go further. I knew I would run out of time because I got I got I want to get into the meat of it. I ain't got into the real meat yet. But I give you enough to know what we're gonna be still talking about next Sunday, talking more about the true worshiper of the word of God. Let me record.
