I I want to dive in when I last, well, no, I last Sunday we did another mention, but before we the few weeks ago, uh the last time we was all on conference call together was fourth Sunday. Then we had fifth Sunday at uh sanctuary. But on four last fourth Sunday, uh I started a little two-part series when God blesses others through you. And I I wanted to get back to that, but I I wasn't able fifth Sunday, and I wasn't, and I didn't do it first Sunday because God led another way. Uh but today, second Sunday, let's roll around. I'm gonna try to do a part two uh to this series of when God blesses others through you, through you and I. Um I'm gonna kind of lay a foundation, kind of rehash, um or bring back to our remembrance what we talked about on Fourth Sunday just a little bit before I get into part two. This is a message where I want us to understand uh that it talks about giving, but what see, I full a lot of us start tensing up. I'm not talking about necessarily money, the way we have been taught, and and over the years in the churches and by the certain leaders, or money, money, money. But but I want you to know I'm I'm I'm here to teach you about the word of God. And the word of God teaches that we are to also give in other areas. You'd be surprised how precious it is when you give somebody a little of your time. You'd be surprised how precious it is when someone is in need of something you can just fix them a plate. You'd be surprised. Giving of ourselves a uh, because a lot of us don't like to put ourselves out for nobody, or you can be just giving somebody a ride. Giving is giving. And I'm I'm here to tell you this morning. Uh last uh last time we did part one, uh I started off with a foundation that lets you know what Jesus said. He said it is more blessed to give than to receive. He's not now when he says that, he's not saying it's not blessed, it's not a blessing in receiving, but he's saying it's more of a blessing if you are in a position or if you are in a state where you can be a giver. Also, I want to let us know this morning that if we don't know by now, if we don't understand by now, everybody's not no giver. I might as well just tell y'all that right now. Everybody's not, yeah, everybody can give, but everybody's not a giver. When I say everybody's not a giver, what I want to bring to our understanding and bring into the light of the knowledge of God's word is that there is a spirit called giving. And everybody don't have that spirit. Some people just have, God has given them a spirit to just give. I'm gonna tell you why. A lot of a lot of us uh have that spirit of giving, is because whether we realize it or not, whether we have thought about it or not, at the at the main core of God's attributes is the spirit of giving. God is a giver. Come on now, I don't I don't have time to go through all these scriptures where the Bible says God gave. God gave, God did this. Look how much he has given us. He he first gave us creation, he created us. After he created us, he gave us life. Then when mankind messed that life up, he gave us Jesus. Now that he has given us Jesus, he's trying to give us eternal life, and some of us don't even want it. He's a giver, God is a giver, and his and if God is a giver and we claim that his spirit dwells within us, that same spirit, all of God's attributes should be seen, clearly seen through his sons and his daughters. Now I'm gonna tell you what the book said. A lot of folk, I may step on a few toes days, a lot of people might get mad, but you still gonna have to love me. I see now why Jesus told those Pharisees, I see now why Jesus told those Sadducees, he said, You are of your father, the devil. The reason he said that because the deeds of your father, he said, You will do. Children take on the attributes, children take on the characteristics, the personality of their father. Now that can be both naturally and spiritually, and he was telling them they was acting just like they father the devil. So they were saying they're lying, and the devil is a liar. But my point this morning is if we are children of God, why isn't God's characteristics, his personality and attributes seen in our lives? Especially in the point we're making this morning, the topic we're dealing with this morning in the area of being a giver. If God gave now, and we also touched on, let me say this before I get to point two. There's a reason, remember last time we talked on this subject, I told you I gave y'all the scripture. I gave y'all the scripture in uh let me get my papers here. I got a few papers here. I gave y'all the scripture in Luke 12 and 48, where it says, this is what Jesus said now. He said, For unto whomsoever, hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh Lord, about to start feeling annoying already. He says, For unto whomsoever much is given. Of him shall be much required. A lot of us read that, don't even know what it means. Don't understand or nothing. No, but I don't understand. Don't get me wrong. I know people ain't people don't teach the Bible. They holler and scream the Bible, but they don't take the time to teach it. We need teaching. This generation is gonna need some teaching. Oh, there's some stuff coming. We're gonna need to have the knowledge of God deeply embedded in us of what the word is talking about. God, there are some of us, God has placed in us, and understand what I'm saying. God did this. This ain't none of your doing, ain't none of my doing. God has placed in a lot of us the ability to do much. I'm still ain't talking about money now. I don't know why we are I let our minds resort back to that. God has placed in a lot of us the ability to do much. And those of us who He has placed that spirit into to do much, He requires much. See, this scripture ain't about man. It's about people who man done gave much to. And he didn't give you that much for yourself. Remember, I told y'all last time we talked about this? A lot of people wrongly understand me when I say this. A lot of times people wrongly assume that just because God has blessed you with a certain thing, a certain item, or whatever the case may be, a lot of us wrongly assume when he blesses us with that, that is for you. See, we don't we we don't think past the master. We gotta go, get out of that corner mind. A lot of times we don't realize when God has blessed you with something, those who have been given much, just because he blessed you with you with it, don't mean it's for you. Don't we what we need to understand is God has when he blesses us, a lot of times it's for us to bless somebody else. It ain't for you, but he blessed it, he's using you as a vessel to get it to those who need it. You are just an avenue or a means by which he can bless somebody else. But we wrong is that, oh, he don't bless me with this nice car, it's for me. No, he blessed you with that so you can be able to help somebody get somebody to ride or to do this and do that for others. D freeze full of food, and you think all that food in your house is you rip, we really see we're a bunch of selfish people. So we don't think past us minds, ours. Don't you know it could be God done stockpile your house so you can to put you in a position so you can be able to bless somebody else who don't have because you are one of those who He has given much to. Oh, we don't want to do that because see that spirit that spirit of selfishness is always lurking to attack the spirit of giving, the spirit of love, the spirit of when you don't think about yourself, and when God, those of us, those of us who he has chosen to give much to, let me go a little deeper with this thing. I want to help somebody. When God has blessed you or using you to bless others, you are not supposed to think about yourself at all. I know what I'm saying, I know I know how I said it. I meant to say it like that. I'm gonna tell you why you shouldn't think about yourself at all. Hallelujah. Because when God has blessed you to bless others, and you follow in obedience to the spirit of giving, which he has placed in you, your needs are going to be met by him. You ain't got to worry about your business. Forget about yourself, and obey God in helping others, seeing the needs of others, putting yourself out for somebody else. And I guarantee you, according to what the word, young word teacher, let me give you some books. We all know the story of Job. We always oh God, Job, Job lost everything he had. Oh, he lost all ten of his church, lost all of this, and lost all of that, and then he got the soul, all the let me tell you something else that a part of Job that a lot of people miss. If you ever go back and read the story, take the time to study, you'll find you one because I want you to I want you to search the script. But this is what you're gonna find. Well, God began, when he began to bless Job, when he was about to bring him out of this test, this trial, you're gonna find in the word of God that it was when he, even in spite of him hurting, even in spite of him being sick and done a lot grieving for his children, and don't and couldn't get no rest because couldn't let down with all them souls and bars all over his body. But you're gonna find the word of God say it was when he started to pray for his friend. When he gave over his prayers and said, Keep praying about me, Lord, whoa and me, my problem, my ideas. He's when he started to forget about himself and pray for his friend, God started to bless him. And I don't know if nobody got what I'm getting what I'm trying to say is. When God, when you have been given experience again, sometimes even in your prayers, it ain't you ain't pray for somebody else. You ain't got to go to God every time your prayer has got to be you first. Let me get my list out the way first. Go ahead and pray for some. What if you just went to God and your entire prayer for that moment was praying that Lord would help somebody and bless somebody else, other than your family, praying for somebody else's family. Do we understand how God blessed? There's a way God bless God got so many ways of blessing y'all. Don't get me wrong. But God, there is a way God blesses others through you and I, who are his ambassadors, through you and I, who are his sons and daughters, so that he can reach them. Their needs can be met. And one reason you don't have to worry about, well, this is my last 20. But the spirit on you don't move you to go and put it in somebody's hand. You don't see the need, but God see the need. We just instruments, y'all, and vessels. Let me give you some words. Let me give you a little word. I ain't got to part two yet. He said, Give, and it shall be given unto you. And I tell you, God, when you focus on having somebody else, God's gonna focus on you. I'm gonna read you something that God gonna show you that He will move on others, move on other people's hearts to bless you when you done allow Him to move on your heart to bless somebody else. Listen at the Word, listen at the Word now. He said, Give, just be obedient and just do for folks. Like I said, they always gotta be money. You can food, clothes, pair, shoes, groceries, time. Just call somebody up and say, I love you. Calling somebody up and say, be encouraged. That's giving. All that is giving because you're giving somebody a positive word, a spiritual word that may lift their day, that makes their day. Somebody call and they said they love you. That's giving of yourself to encourage somebody else. Give and it shall be given unto you. Now you got to believe that none of this is gonna work if you don't believe it. If he says it's gonna be given unto you, it's gonna be given unto you. Good measure. Then he describes how it's gonna be given to you. Because God don't never give small. I need y'all to understand that. I know man gives small. But God don't give small. He knows what you have need of for you, he mass. And if you really want to be blessed, if you really want to come out of debt, if you really want to have all your needs met, latch on to God's blessing plan. And you will never be in need or won't again. Because God's resources cannot be exhausted, they can't run out. God can't never run out of nothing. Let me get you the word. I want to get all this in today, this morning. Good measure, press down. You ever had so much stuff on the bag yet to mash some stuff down to make room for some old stuff to get it in the bag? You gotta press it down to get it in there. Got so much. Press down and shaking together, run it over. And I know a lot of us on bit more know what that means because we ain't never had nothing run over. Because you've been too so stingy, you've been so selfish. You don't understand God's blessing plan, God's giving plan. If you ever just forget about yourself and just do it without thinking, God will show you some things that you and you'll be wanting Lord Woman will do with all this. Run it over. Now, here, this is now his God is showing He's He's finna show you something. He says, Shall men give into your bosom. God will move on people to bless you, and they ain't gonna a lot of times they ain't gonna even be people that you even know. Could be a total stranger. Lord has told me to do this for you. I don't know why, but he just told me to do it, and then I just had to come by and get it to you. I just had to come by and check on you. I just had to call and check and see what's going on. See if there's anything I can do to help. Men, give into your bosom for with the same measure that ye meet. That means the same way you give. That's how God's gonna move on somebody's heart to give back to you. With the same measure you meet, that means just how you give. Well, I I put two dollars in the offering basket. Lord have mercy. What if God was had been stranging in all that he's given us when he gave us life? And what if God was stranging? Do y'all know how many breaths y'all gonna breathe today? Now, what if God said, I'm gonna let you breathe only so many breaths, and that's it? When has God ever been staging? When has God ever been reluctant to give us that grant us the things that we need? Each and every day, 24 hours a day. Eat like hog, still got more food in there, wasting those more ways than some countries have to eat. But when he moves on you to help or bless somebody else, we try to hold back. We need to start praying that Lord remove that spirit of selfishness from my life. God is not a selfish God, and his children should not be a selfish people. God wants us, and I told y'all last time, we who are in this generation, look all over the world. Look all over this nation, look all over this country, look all over your community, look all over your city. There are needs to be met. People are hurting, people are in need of this, need of that. People have lost their life with all these calamities and devastations and things that's coming on the world. You'd be surprised how many people need just water, fresh water to drink, clean water to take a bath, homes have been destroyed, lives have been changed, jobs have been lost, and God has a people on this earth that He has commissioned and equipped to be of service to others, and yet it's the world don't know we exist. Because we want to choose who we help, we want to choose who we bless, but the devil is alive. If God's spirit, hallelujah, moves upon you and I to help somebody, to bless somebody, whether you know them or not, no matter how they look or not. If the Spirit of God is leading you, to hear how I'm saying that now, because I know we got scammers out there, and I know we got the devil out there. I said if the Spirit of God has is leading you to help somebody, you should put yourself in the position for God to use you to bless them. Even if it's just giving of your time. Some people just want to talk, some people just want to vent. Some people don't have nobody to take up time with them. And here you will got your whole day, but you want to plan around what you want. I got things to do. I ain't got time to just sit around through hours just letting somebody talk. But you'd be surprised what that would do for that person for you to just spend a little time with. Just give a little of your time. Listen, when you get in trouble on a call on the Lord, don't you want him to be there to listen to you? Well, our self is self. Help somebody. Or even stop calling yourself a son and daughter of God. Give. And some of us, we get we be in a dilemma. When we go to our ice box and D freeze and just looking at the live the dilemma is not that we don't have food. The dilemma is deciding what we really want. You don't you be surprised, you know, a lot of people don't have that luxury to decide what they want. All they got is what's in there. They're glad and happy if they get a bowl of rice before they go to bed. No salt on it, no sugar on it, no butter, just a bowl of rice. And I'm here to tell you, they're eating like they're eating a prime real estate. Because they're so thankful. But you and I, we can we can choose decide. Oh, I don't know where I want. I hear people say that all the time. You got the luxury to make a decision and a choice. Who do you think gave you that choice? That ability to have a choice. He said, if a brother and sister be naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you, what do you say, folks? Church going folks, say to them, Depart in peace. Be warm before you God's gonna bless you. You're gonna be alright. God gonna bless you with something. That's what you that's what we tell them. Notwithstanding, you give them not those things which are needful. Instead of giving them what you know they need, come on here. Let me let's go around here and let me go down here and buy you something. Come on, let me come on, sit down and eat a plate with me. Come on, let me feed you. You're over that. Come on, just sit down and eat with. Get what you want. Instead of filling that need, and she says, notwithstanding, you give them not those things which are needful to the body. What does it profit? Your words don't fill their stomach. God gonna bless you. Something gonna come through for you. That ain't filling their belly. The book says they naked, destitute of belly food. They need clothes, they need food. And a lot of us, y'all just gotta be mad at me. I'm y'all know I love you, but I gotta teach this word. I gotta get, I gotta teach this this book. And and then when it's a naked and they need the clothes on their back, that don't always mean going in your closet and getting them clothes that you don't want no more. That you don't even wear no more. I get this one, but you ain't getting your best stuff. No, sometimes that means taking them to the store and buying them the side stuff in their side, they don't wear your size. Spend all money, plant a seed. I'm gonna come back to that because I'm gonna tear down, I'm gonna tear down them folks that do stuff so they can tell tell somebody what they did for somebody. I'm gonna come back to that. I'm gonna put a I'm gonna put a big ham nail in that. Let me come back to that. John spoke these words in the book of 1 John, the third chapter. He says, hereby perceive we the love of God. See, if the love of God, it this requires the love of God, but if the love of God is not in you, you ain't finna do this. I don't care how much I teach you, I don't care how much you read in the Bible. If the love of God is not in you, you will not possess the spirit of a giver. See, some people get don't look for nothing in return because just seeing a smile on somebody's face, that's they blessing right there. Knowing that they did something to help somebody else. That's they they glad. That feeling of joy that comes over you to see somebody, ooh, they so thankful and grateful and appreciate what you did. You ain't got to try to pay me back. Uh uh. I already got my blessing. Knowing that I did something or filled a need where you was lacking something. And I just want God to bless you. He said, How hereby perceive we the love of God? He knows where John said, I'm gonna show you the love of God. I want you to see. That word, that's what that word perceive means. I want you to see the love of God. Because he laid down his life for us. Talking about when he gave Jesus. He gave. He said, because he laid down his life for us. Now, listen to what he's saying. This is what he expects in return, since he has laid his life down for us by giving us Jesus. And we, you and I, ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Now, this ain't talking about dying for nobody, y'all. It ain't what that means. This means don't hold back when you have to give yourself or put yourself out for a few hours to help somebody else, or to change your schedule, or to cancel your plans, or what you what you want today, and something come up and you can help somebody. Don't be afraid to put yourself out a little if it means helping somebody. Because God gave us Jesus, his only begotten Son. We ought to be willing on our level to lay down our lives for the brother, Israel, sisters. If somebody needs us, need our help. Because that's what God did for us. We needed help, y'all. Whether y'all know it or not, we needed a savior, we needed saving. God saw a need that only he could meet through giving us Jesus. And he expects us to have that same spirit of giving. When we when the opportunity arise, help somebody. Got plenty. But whoso has this world's good and yet and seeeth, this is what this, this is what the what John said, and see if his brother has need. You see there's a need. You know there's a need. You know you got the goods to help him. And instead of helping, he said, and shut it up his vows of compassion. Lord have mercy, Jesus. That vows of compassion means you don't, you refuse, you shutting yourself out from showing love. You see, remember how John started this thing out? He said, I'm gonna show you, perceive ye the love of God. And what he really said, I'm gonna show you that the love of God ain't in you. When you can see somebody with a need, Lord have mercy. And that don't do nothing to your heart, and you got and you got the means to help them, but instead of your mind or your heart or your spirit turning towards helping somebody, the book said you shut up, you close the door, you on your love, you don't let no love out. You shutter up your vows of compassion. In other words, you could have showed love, but you made a choice. Now, you know how many people choose not to love or to show love. This person here made a choice to shut up his bows of compassion. To shut up his show her no love. I ain't finna show her no love. I know her and I know her people. I ain't finna show that help or no love. That's not the spirit of God, shut us up his bows of compassion from him. Then listen how John, what John said, how dwelleth the love of God in him or her? When you choose intentionally, shut up your bows of compassion, shut up your love, but still get up and church how much you love everybody, you are lie. You are lying wonder. Because that's not the spirit of love, which means that's not the spirit of God. The spirit of God in a child of God cannot stand to see somebody in trouble and not try to help and do something. A child of God will not shut up his bows of compassion when there's a need that he commit, and you know you got this world's good, you got the means to help them. You know you got a few dollars in your pocket to buy them something to eat. You know you got some clothes that you can share with them. You know you can help them with all them children they got. Help them buy school supplies, y'all. Your children growing and gone and out of school. Help somebody else children who got school supplies, anyway, whatever the case may be, y'all. What I'm saying, that it don't take much to see me, a need if you got the eyes of the Lord. It don't take much to see a need. How dwell it, how can you say that the love of God is in you? You are lying wonder. Cause the Spirit of God, when he saw I what that what that song people say, he looked beyond my faults, hallelujah, and saw my need. Why we can't look beyond people's faults and see their need, and some of us, all our faults ain't all the way gone, but God still providing, He ain't bringing them up in your faith. How dwelling? How can you say, and that word dwell is a Greek word, that means how is it that you say that the love of God is living in you? Dwell means to live in. How is it that the love of God is living in you, but you don't never want to give or help nobody? Because that's not the spirit of God, because the spirit of God don't change, God don't change, hallelujah. What did Malachi say? What Malachi said, I am the Lord thy God, I change not, I don't change, my spirit don't change, my word don't change if there's any change toward others by us, it's because of us. We done changed, not God. How dwelleth the love of God in him, my little children, with John, he's still talking at verse 18. Let us not love in words. Stop just saying it with your mouth. Someone says don't ward our saying it, and just and all it is just words. My little children, let us not love in words, neither in with the tongue, but in deed and in truth. Be real about it. If you're gonna love me, love me. If you're gonna love somebody, love them. Show love, open up your bowels of compassion, help them. I don't care about what their taste or what you're gonna heard about them in the street and what they've done did and all that, because they done did a little time, done been in prison, done been to jail. So what? They are now they're trying to change their life around. Help them. If God bless your past cross with them to help them, help them. Yeah, I know. Woman down the street, got a hard-headed children, but they still got to go to school. Help them with the school supply. Man, I dad I under. I just walked in by here, ain't nobody got to know nothing. I just wanted to do God later, my heart to help you. With school supply for you and your children, school uniforms, whatever. Now see, about that. Let me let me let me let me get my hammer out. There is a group of people who don't mind helping as long as they can get the glory. I said, I told you I got my hammer out. I'm gonna hit somebody in the head. Because there is, there are some people who love to be glorified by men. They love the feeling of when people praise them, or put them high on a pedestal for something that they've done, or when somebody gives them the credit for doing something amazing in the eyes of man, but let me tell you that is a spirit of the devil, the spirit of the enemy, because those of us who possess the spirit of God to be a giver, to bless others, to see needs in others, those of us who truly have that spirit, we need no recognition, we need no credit, we don't need to be acknowledged. Our names don't even have to be called. Nobody needs to know what I did for so and so and so-and-so. Just pray for me. But there are people, let me well, don't take my word. Let me let Jesus, let me let Jesus talk to y'all. Let me let Jesus talk to y'all. Let me give you some words because I like to back up everything with the word. Jesus said, This is Jesus talking. He says, Take heed that you do not your arms before men. See, a lot of people like to do things for men, for people. They ain't want to do nothing. Let him let somebody look him, let somebody hear him. We like to be seen and we like to be heard. And we like for certain people to hear and see us doing certain things. But this, my Jesus, says this. He says, Take heed, watch yourself. What are you talking about? Take heed that you do not your arms before men, because he's gonna show you something. What you think you getting, you ain't finna get. Listen to this. He said, before men, to be seen of them. Otherwise, you have no reward of your father which is in heaven. If you choose to do this, do it this way. Don't expect to receive any reward from God. Because what you have done in your motives being to do your arms before men, what you have said to God is, I'd rather my reward come from men than you. And I'm here to tell you, can't nobody, no man, reward you like God. So while we want a reward from people, so many of us are so in need of people's recognition to be people pleasers, that we have we have been blinded by that spirit. And we wonder why that reward is not fulfilling. Because the reward of men cannot fulfill the spiritual need that you need in your life. Only God can fulfill that need. Not a man on this earth, not a woman on this earth can fulfill that. So while you keep seeking more and more recognition from men, what you're doing is drifting further and further away from what you really need. And that's all you needed was God. He said, Take heed. This Jesus talking. That you do, you stop doing stuff in front of men to be blessed by them. If you're gonna do that so you can tell somebody what you did for me, I rather you not haven't even done that for me. Because your motives was wrong, your heart was wrong. Listen to what he said. He said, Therefore, when thou doest thou on thine arms, do not sound a trumpet. You ain't gotta go holler and tell everybody what you did. Don't sign a trumpet before thee as the hypocrites. See, that's a hypocritical spirit. As the hypocrites do in the synagogue, the synagogues are just another name for church. And you be probably meeting people get up in church wanting everybody to know what they done did. They hold testimony, ain't about the goodness of God, it's about bringing and shining the light on what they done did. In the church, which is the house of God. If anybody is to get any glory in here, it's supposed to be God is the only one supposed to get glory. I don't want to hear about you talking about yourself. He said in the synagogues and in the street, in your neighborhood, the community, all you talk about is yourself. Come to church, all you would talk about yourself. When you're in the grocery store, always talking about yourself. Want folks to see you instead of being. Seeing God. Well, you got your reward. That's what Jesus is trying to tell you. That they may have glory of men. Lord have mercy. Some of us are twisted in our spiritual mind. If we think men gonna give us glory, glory seekers. To have glory of men. Listen what Jesus said. He said, Verily, this truly, I'm saying this to you. I say unto you that you have your reward. You don't got what you're gonna get. That's what you wanted? That's what you're gonna get. God is not finna come behind you seeking the glory of men and give you his glory after that. He come behind that. Uh-oh. No, he is not. He ain't come behind that. You don't got the glory of men, then you still want God's glory. No. No. God don't play second filler to nobody. If you wanted it for men, you got that. And he'll give his to somebody else. Who did it in secret, who didn't have to blow no trumpet, who didn't have to call everybody and know and say, I had to buy them a pair of shoes, or I did this for so-and-so, I did this with somebody, and this and that. No, that you got your reward. That's it. He ain't stupid. Listen what Jesus said. Now, since Jesus told you what not to do, he finna tell you if you really want to be blessed, he's gonna tell you just how to do it. Listen to Jesus now. Don't listen to me, listen to Jesus. He said, But when thou doest arms, when you give, that's what arms is, y'all. Can be money, food, clothes, whatever you give, whatever the need calls for you to give, your time, your patience, encouragement, your love, all that can be your arms. He said, but when thou do his arms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth. You ain't got to call up friend A and tell friend B what you did for friend C. I ain't got to know all that. Down between you and them. You don't, Lord Jesus. We don't have to let everybody know everything we do for somebody else. That's why the social media that get on my nerve. You ain't gonna never catch me on that. Facebook, Twitter, you ain't gonna never find me on a guy now account on that. Never have, never will. Because all they do is want to show people what they're doing and all that business and all, no, no, no. We better watch that stuff. God ain't behind that stuff. I'm gonna tell you straight up. God ain't in it, and he ain't behind all he ain't not, God's not in that. That's a worldly thing, a worldly invention, a worldly avenue that people won't glory. Oh, look how many lights I got. Look how many times it I've been viewed. That's that's glory of men. I ain't got time to go into it, but let me go on. Then Jesus says, But when thou do his arms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth. That, and this is why you do that. He said that thine arms may be in secret. Now he's telling you plain today. It's a secret. In other words, keep it to yourself. If I move, in other words, the Lord says, if I move on you to bless somebody, it's between, keep it that way. It's a secret. You blessing them to see. We did not want you to keep a secret, God. What you did in secret, let me be the one to bless you openly before everybody. He said that thine arms might be in secret. And thy father, now this God gonna hand out this blessing. Lord, come on now. You got to want this. How can you not want this, but you want to glory when God is finna hand out the blessing? He said, and thy father, come by God, which seeth in secret, himself shall reward thee openly. Now, come on now, I must that's just plain to me, to my spirit, is what it's telling me. If you can keep your mouth shut and keep your business to yourself, when you're helping other folk, and other people, you don't want to embarrass. Sometimes you embarrass folks by going all over time telling folk, they're already embarrassed and shame about being poor and not having stuff and not being able to make ends meet. And you have to spread that business all over time, what you done did for them. You don't make folks not want you to help them ever again. But if you can do it like Jesus just said, do it. He said, Thy father, hallelujah, which see it in secret. You did that from your heart, you weren't trying to get no glory men, you just saw a need and you blessed them. Himself shall reward thee openly. The motives of our hearts must be righteous. Everything we do, y'all, must come from a righteous heart. Because we want to do what's right toward God, not trying to make a name for ourselves, not trying to do nothing for ourselves, but because righteousness abides in us. Our motives that come from our hearts must be righteous. People disguise they're giving glory to God when the reality is they are really seeking glory for themselves. But they are disguised like they're really giving God glory. You a lie. The spirit of the Zermans see clip through that. The spirit of God see cling through that. But all you really were doing is trying to get glory and bring shine, glory, light on yourself. Competing for being big, the bigness, trying to be big in people's eyes, competing for bigness, advertising one success, performing and entertaining in the church, and wanting to be first in the eyes of people, wanting all eyes on you. I'm gonna tell you what Jesus said. You have your reward. You already got it. You already got your reward. Now, let me give you something right quick for my time right now. Let me give you something right quick. There's a few quite a few verses, but I just want you to listen to the word of all this is the word of God, and I'll give these scriptures to you in a minute. Plus, it's gonna be on CD. I'm gonna give you a glimpse of the day of judgment. Just a glimpse. What Jesus is gonna give you a glimpse of what's gonna go on in the courtroom on the day of judgment. Just listen to the word of God. Just listen to the word of God, please, and I'll let you go. This is what Jesus said. This is in the book of Matthew. He says, When the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. Listen at this, and before him shall be gathered all nations. This is a glimpse of the judgment day, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divided his sheep from the goats, and he shall set the sheep on the his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the king say to them on his right hand, them on his right hand, the saved, the righteous. He's gonna talk to them first, those of you who live the saved life. Then shall the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Thank you, Lord. For I was a hunger, Jesus talking about he said, For I was hungry, and you gave me meat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in, naked, and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me. Then shall the righteous, I'm gonna show you something in a minute. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hunger and fed thee, or thirsty and gave thee drink, when saw we thee a stranger and took thee in, or naked and clothed thee, or when saw we thee sick or imprisoned and came unto thee, and the king, come on my king, Jesus, shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, hallelujah. Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, you have done it unto me. Say to God, there's a connection. I ain't through, but let me pause for a minute. There's a connection when we help people with their needs, there's a connection to doing that and for others, there's a connection in that act to Jesus. See, we think we're just doing it for the person, but what you're doing is what Jesus requires of you, and doing it for others is like you're doing it to him. Well, let me tell you something about saved folks, those who really got the spirit of God in them the right way. Some of us have done for others without even thinking that we're doing it for Jesus. See, when you got a right spirit in you, you just help folks because it's right to help them if they need help. Not realizing that one day Jesus is gonna tell you, when you did it for them, you were doing to me. Because even the slave folks said, Lord, when we saw you hungry, they realize you were blessing Jesus. Hallelujah. We don't get it. Then realizing you were helping Jesus. How in the world can we help Jesus? With the ministry. This is a ministry. Giving is part of a ministry, and anytime you help the ministry of Jesus Christ, you're helping him. Did not he say, I got to leave. I go back to my father, but greater works. You're doing it for my ministry, which means you're doing it for me. When you help somebody, when you give according to what my word said for you to give, you helped in my ministry. And it's like you're doing it to me, what you're doing for them. He ain't through, he ain't through. Let me read the rest of it. Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, depart from me. And anybody out of God don't quite understand what depart from me means. What Jesus is saying is, get away from me. You ain't done nothing to help the ministry, you ain't done nothing to help nobody. Depart from me. Get away from me. You cursed into everlasting fire. Prepare for the devil and his angels. Now, just let me sideboff him for a minute. Just in case somebody put a little thought on your head. Right there, even with this glimpse of judgment day when Jesus is gonna do this. He's giving you a glimpse of letting us know hell was not even prepared for us, God's people in the first place. He tells you right there, you going to hell because you acting like the devil. You chose to live like the devil. But he's telling you it was really prepared for the devil and them angels that followed him. That's what hell was for. Listen at that again. You curse into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angel. That's what hell was made for. But if you choose to follow the devil, if you choose to follow those angels that will turn to demons, you're gonna go the same place that they're going. Even though it was not prepared for you. But because you made a choice, you're gonna go where they're going. Since you want to follow them and do like live like they want you to live, go where they're going then. Okay, just an aside ball. I don't have time to go into that. That's a whole nother subject about hell and Hades and all that. He said, For I was a hungry. Read this while you're going. He said, I was hungry and you gave me no meat. I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in, didn't do nothing for me. Naked, and you clothed me not, sick, and in prison, and you visited me not. Then shall they also answer to him, saying, Lord, when shall we be a hunger or a thirst or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as you did it not to one of these, the least of these, you did it not to me. Those walk around here selfish and standing and going against the very spirit that God is putting you to be a giver, to be a helper, to be a need meter on our levels. See, we can meet people's needs, we but we're doing it through what how Christ has equipped us. It ain't us doing it. Understand it, don't get it twisted. We don't have the means to help the need meet need people's needs and help them. But through Christ, the one who we get our supplies from him. And we in turn use those supplies what he has given us to help somebody else. Which means the glory still goes back to him. We still don't get no credit, don't want no credit, don't need no credit. You ain't never got to call my name or mention what I did, but I don't need that because God's gonna bless me. He said, These shall go away to everlasting punishment, but the righteous, those who did what was right, into life eternal. That was a glimpse of judgment day of what God was gonna happen. I was reading, I was reading in the book of John. Well, Jesus. We know the story. Multitudes of people was out there, and it came time, they was wondering how they gonna feed everybody. Come unto him. A lot of people, a lot of people follow his ministry. He said unto Philip, that was one of the disciples, he said, understand now. I I like reading about Jesus so much, y'all, because he always teaching. He always, he was always up to something. He knows what he's gonna do, even though he's gonna trap Philip. He already let the word say, he said, he said to Philip, When shall we buy bread that these may eat? Can't send the folks away home. God feed them. Jesus already, he Jesus is up to something. You ever read this? Take the time to read it slow. He said, and this he said to prove him, in other words, Jesus said that he was trying, Philip, to see what he would say. He said, and this he said to prove him, for he, he, Jesus himself knew what he would do. Jesus already knew he was going to do. He was Jesus, Jesus had to test them every now and then, y'all, for us to see ourselves and to see what we would say, how we would respond to something. Because see, most people look at the crowd. We ain't got no food to feed this many people. Do you remember Jesus? He said, What should we buy bread to that we may, that these may eat? Then to see what Philip would say. But there was another disciple with him. He said, and one of his disciples, Andrew, y'all might not know much about Andrew. That was Simon Peter's brother. He said, One of the disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother said unto him, see, Andrew heard him say this to Philip. Look at the faith in Andrew and Andrew now. Now, this is a crowd of the Bible say a great company. But yet it's still the faith of Andrew. Simon Peter, brother, this is what he said to Jesus. He said, now I don't know if this little boy, I don't know if his mama had made him this lunch that that morning to take with him to eat while he was out and about. But he has he had some food with him. The boy did, the little lad. He said, Andrew said, there is a lad here, that's a little boy, which has five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they amongst so many? And we know the story. I don't have to go read the whole thing. Read that, that's John, the sixth chapter. Jesus saw, this is the point I want to make, Jesus saw a need. He already knew he had the means to supply the need, no matter how great a company this was. God provides for this whole world every day. But what God wants us to do a lot of times is to test our faith, to see if we're gonna look at how great the need is, hallelujah, or we're gonna see how great he is in our lives. So many of us worried by our bills and this and that. I'm here to tell you, if we, and you listen, try what I'm saying to you, try it against the word of God. So many of us, if we would just step out on faith and trust God when it comes to our need, instead of focusing so much on our need, focus on doing right and helping somebody else. I mean, I know this don't happen every day. Every day you're gonna have to, your path ain't gonna cross with somebody that you got to do something for. I'm saying, but when it does, when your path do cross with somebody, and God makes an opportunity for you to help somebody in need, if we would at that moment just obey and follow the direction of the Spirit of the Holy Ghost, God will supply your every need. Because it's when you think about the needs of others that He will in return take care of your needs. Try me if you don't think that works. Try me if you don't think I'm telling you the truth. The word of God teaches this, and like I keep saying, it's It's not always about money. That's just part of it. Yeah, money can supply a lot of needs. Put a few dollars in somebody's hand. Buy them some cold or whatever. But it can be your time. It can be the way you talk to somebody. It can be when you have patience with somebody. When you can tolerate putting up with their ways until they come to themselves. Everything we got is not just for us. It's for us to help and be in a position to bless others. All that money in your bank account ain't just for you. God provided it to you. So if a need comes up and somebody needs $20 or $30, you can help them. I mean, they really got a need. And it's going to be like you ain't going to never miss it because God's going to return that to you 36 and 100fold. What we just read earlier, with the same measure that you meet, the way you measure out, the same way God's going to measure back of you. If you give big, God's going to bless you, B. And nobody, I don't know nobody that can be God giving. But what He wants in you and I is for us to allow the spirit of the giver to live through us so that He can bless others through you. We can't say that there are not needs in this world that need to be met. God's people have the resources through God, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to help, to be a blessing, while at the same time bringing glory to the name of God, bringing glory to his ministry, bringing glory to his kingdom, and bringing awareness to the world that God still have a people. And they are about the father's business each and every day that the Lord brings. Hallelujah.
