Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

I want to take us to a place this morning. Or I better uh let me say it like this. Let the word of God take us to a place this morning. Any all of us who have lived this life, we have come uh face to face with a lot of things, with a lot of uh temptations, with a lot of uh struggles, with a lot of this and a lot of that. But this morning, the Lord has put in my spirit for the last several weeks. Uh, He wants us to get to a place where we have no more doubt.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my God.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Well I know that time we we we struggle with believing, we struggle with uh putting our faith in this, but I'm telling you what, God wants us, and we might not be at this place right now, but this is a place God wants us to get to. A place of no more doubt. And those of us who serve Him, God should have already shown Himself enough to us that no matter what happened, no matter what comes, or no matter what goes, that nothing should cause us to doubt God for no reason. Because when he showed himself to the children of Israel, it it grieved him and angered him. And the Bible said, I'm gonna read you in a minute. The scripture said, God, he said, I swear in my anger, in my wrath. Y'all ain't finna see the promised land. You not you'll not enter into my rest because he refused to believe in me. After I done showed you who I am, after I done revealed to you who I am, you still doubt me. And I'm mighty afraid we today, God done showed a lot of us a lot of things. Just a whole lot of things we ain't testified about yet. We testify so much about so many things, but there's some things God done did in our lives. We know for a fact it was God, nobody but God, and came about convinced you that it wasn't God. But we still want to die. Because you got a letter in the middle say cut off. Because you got a letter in the middle say final notice. We tend to let that spirit of God overcome us. Not thinking or realizing that same God that paid them be as last. Don't be the same God because we don't get no new God every month. Because the God we serve is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. Matter of fact, I am the Lord thy God, I change not.

SPEAKER_03

Jesus.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

He also said, I know what you have meet up for ye men. But what he wants us to do is to believe. Let me read something to you in the word of God. Just follow along with me. Something Paul said in the book of Timothy. He says, I will therefore that men pray everywhere. Lifting up holy hands. Without wrath. This part, this is what mentioned. And doubting. See, right there, it's enough right there. God don't want us to doubt. He tells us right there. Without doubting. I'm telling you something about doubt. It is a strong enemy against your faith.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, it is.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

If you live.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, it is.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Because it's the opposite of. Because see, one thing we gotta understand, our the true fight that we really fight, I know we go through a lot of fight fighting spiritually. I'm talking about. I mean, some of y'all hope we don't still fight. But you never know. Church folk, I've seen church folk fight. So you never know. Church, come to church, don't take away from your fighting skills. But you feel get filled with the Holy Ghost now, it's still what happened. He'll take all that out of you. And he'll start focusing on your spiritual warfare. One thing uh about our fight, the fight that is most important to us as sons and daughters of God is the fight of our faith. Because when Christ get back here, one thing he's gonna be looking for in the people of God, the Bible says, will he find faith on the earth? You know what they're telling me? A whole lot of folks don't lose all faith in God. A whole lot of people are gonna stop even believing that God exists. Because they're looking at the thing that's going on in the world, and they say, How can there be a God with all this stuff happening? These wars, the rumors of wars, the crime rate, the love of many that's waxing cold. The hatred, the prejudice, the racism. How can there be a God? But through all of that, our focus is to remain on him.

SPEAKER_02

And trust him.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

No matter what these eyes see, look with your spiritual eyes that God is still sitting on the throne. He still sits high and look, look. And he knows what's going on. We just got to keep the faith without doubting. I want to take us to a place of no more doubt. Because that's what God wants us to be. Because to doubt God is to insult God. I said to doubt him. He who has all power in his hand.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, yes.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

He who nothing is too hard for to doubt him who is able is an insult to him. Because you tell him, Lord, I ain't sure you're able to do it. After God showed you, hallelujah. He told the children of Israel. Ten times I showed you my power. And I brought you out of abundance with a mighty hand. Just seeing how powerful he is, just seeing what he has done in your life should have removed all doubt from your system, all doubt from your spirit, all doubt from your mind. Even if he don't do it, I know he ain't.

SPEAKER_01

Because he done showed me enough that he's able. James, the brother of Jesus.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

He wrote this. See, in order for us to get to this place of no more doubt, we're gonna have to ask God for the wisdom to guide us to this place. Because we on our own, we don't have a sense to know how to get there. They just know they know where they're going, they say they know where they're going. They get everybody lost. Well, truly, we've been riding around for two hours. We ain't got there yet. Well, I think this is the right street. I think that's all.

SPEAKER_03

I know, sir.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Well, see, and I'm supposed to give you. See, God wants us to come to him to help for help. The Bible said help in time of need. And we need with direction and we need instruction. Lord, show me how to get to this place of no more doubt. Show me how to get to this place so I can remove all of unbelief and all this stuff out of my system.

SPEAKER_03

Show me, he said, wisdom.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

If any man lack wisdom in this area, let him lack of God. If any man, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Any thing spiritual, no man can lead you there. Any thing spiritual, no woman can lead you there. Every thing spiritual, you have to be led by the spirit of God, by the Holy Ghost, in order to get there. See, if God just left us all alone and said, do what y'all want to do. You know y'all know we will go the wrong way every time. Because right is not born in us. Doing right and doing good is not born in us. That's the very reason Jesus had to tell us, you got to be born again. Because your first bird's been putting in you. Because we've been born in sin. Shaped in iniquity.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, sir.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Oh, but if you be born again.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, sir.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

The blood of Jesus. Righteousness now comes into your life. Holiness not comes into your life. And one thing I love more than anything, the Bible says, Me and my father will make our abode with you. We'll come live in you. If any man lack, if anyone, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that give it to all men. If you want it, God will give it to you. The Bible says, liberally, and upgrade it not, and it shall be given him. Literally, let me hear you as much as you want. As much as you can hold. See, some of us got to have an asking for the wrong thing. But if you're asking for the right thing, God will not rebuke you for asking from him for the things you really need. See, we got it. Oh, we're so twisted. We think crab will get down there, Lord. I want a big house. Lord, I want a car. That car I've been wanting, I hit people in my dream car. Let me tell you something about cars. As soon as you drive them off the lot, they begin to depreciate in value. Because now it's considered a used vehicle. Because it's a bimbulner. But we won't. That's what we want. We won't use and we want stuff that's gonna deteriorate. We want stuff that's gonna decrease in value. And then we waste our time with our prayer, house, car, wardrobe. Can I help somebody? All these things gonna pass away. But when you go and pray asking God for the things that your spirit needs.

SPEAKER_02

Come on, say that.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Lord, I need more loose. Lord, I need to learn to teach me how to forgive more. I need more wisdom. I need more knowledge. See, there are the things God wants us to be asking for. Those are the things not only gonna do you good now, but they can be they don't decrease in value.

SPEAKER_01

So when you ask for wisdom, he won't review you.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

He's glad you're asking for that. He says, Jane goes on to say, God will give it to you. If you really want it, God will give it to you. How I know. In the area right now. Some of us can save a little while. And some of us can tell that their lives have changed from the time they first got saved.

SPEAKER_03

Um to now.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

You know you believe more, you know you understand more. You know you love him more. You know you have grown in the law. I like what David said. Oh Lord, my heart is fixed. You ever read that song point away? He said, Oh Lord, my heart is fixed. Some of us know our heart is fixed. We ain't going nowhere. We ain't gonna leave it. We ain't gonna turn around because our hearts have become fixed in living for him. Hallelujah. James goes on to say, but let him ask in faith. Don't go to God asking for wisdom. No God is gonna ask the Lord for the strength to have no more God in him if you ain't going in faith.

SPEAKER_02

All right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Why pray if you ain't gonna believe what you're praying for? You just spend my words. He said, don't be like a Gentile. They praying in the marketplace. They think he said they think they're gonna be heard because of their much speaking. Because they're saying a lot of words. Because they're making it sound good. Listen, I don't gotta wait for all that trying to excite people. To stir up their spirit by exciting them by saying, Listen, if the book don't do it, our sure can't do it. I ain't trying to do it. Because that's what see them saying something about the about the about the Lord. When we become born again, God's spirit enters into our lives. I'm telling you about that. Why that's so important? Because now there's something in you that can connect with the spirit in God. Because see, the Holy Ghost, which is the Spirit of God, connects with God's Spirit. And the Bible says his spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the sons of God. Now you got a connection with God Almighty, with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Ghost. You've got to have that connection. He said, Let him ask him faith. Nothing wavering.

SPEAKER_03

That means dead.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

You know why some of our prayers ain't been answered? Because we prayed and wavered.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my God.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

I said it. We prayed and wavered. And if you keep reading, the Bible James goes on saying, let not that man think that he's gonna get in and I just tell you why I didn't answer? Why you didn't get it? Because you didn't believe. You didn't pray in faith. You wavered. And a wavering, a wavering person, they so you hear you ever heard about talk strong faith one day? Talk God the next day, let's read for God! Oh, I don't know. I'm I'm all right, I guess. Oh, he's gonna make away!

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Oh yeah, but Lord knows I'm just going to. Yeah, yeah. Come on. Let not that man on that moment think they're gonna get they shall receive anything from the Lord. Why, Lord? Why can't it get why can't I get it, Lord? Because a double-minded man is unstable. See, we don't want to walk around and tell folk how you doing? I'm unstable. See, we're gonna never say that. Tell somebody you're unstable. See, we're gonna say somebody throw it off all day long. But go to somebody say, I'm unstable today. We don't say that. But God done called you that. A double-minded man, does it? And this people do have, they do have double minds. Some of you got more than one mind. There's a bunch of them in there. And because they one way one minute and the next way next. They just confused. And as long as you like that, let me tell you why a double-minded person is unstable. And he's gonna remain unstable. Until the Bible says, until we let this mind be in us. Which was also in Christ. Until we get the mind of Christ, we're gonna keep a double mind. And if we keep a double mind, we're gonna always be at a place where we're doubting instead of that place where there is no more doubt. Because Jesus ain't never doubted nothing. Not Jesus, take your Jesus mind in your mind now. Jesus ain't never doubted nothing. I remember one day he reached about. He was hungry. The Bible said he was hungry. He saw that fig tree. He thought it was a fig. What if you got close to it? You see, wasn't no fighter. I don't know if Jesus got mad or he was just hungry. But whatever the reason was, he cursed the tree. I ain't talking about profanity curse. He don't know ain't nothing gonna grow you no more from this day for. And the Bible said the tree just drawed up and died. He said it's the top of the man. Look how fast it died. Drawed up. And Jesus, he's so he's so intelligent, ain't no that word intelligent don't do him justice. He always said an opportunity to teach. And he saw how amazing. He said, He said, Not only will you be able to do this that you just saw to the fig tree. He said, but you that's a place you can get to. You can speak the mountain. Not only speak to him, you can tell him to move. Let me read to you. Y'all might not read. Y'all might not believe. Y'all not believe what I say. Come on. Y'all not believe. Y'all might not believe what I say. Mom let Jesus say it to you. Y'all can't let Jesus talk to you. Okay, I'll let Jesus talk to you. He says, Jesus said, Verily. I say unto you, if you have faith, this is the key right here. When he told when they got and all the fig trees, he said, if ye have faith. This is the next part. And doubt not. Don't doubt it. Ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also you shall say until this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea. Now here's what you got to believe. He said, It shall be done. Because now see, now I know for a fact he wants us to get to a place there's no word, there's no more doubt. Now I know he wants us to have faith and whatever we pray and don't doubt, whatever we say. Some of our prayers don't sound crazy to others. And some of us curve our prayers, but we don't want to sound completely thrown off somebody else. But if you pray the truth, one thing I believe is when you pray the word of God, the world might not understand it, but God honors his word. And if Jesus told you to pray like this, if Jesus said, oh well, he's saying defeat you, what you saw? That ain't nothing. If you really grab a hold of my faith in me, this ain't nothing compared to what you can be able to.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you, Lord. Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah. One day Jesus was preaching.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

And a multitude of people. And they got ready to move on. So he told the disciples to go ahead and y'all going on to the other side. Get in the boat, going on to the other side. He was gonna stay here and you know, just miss the people and do a few things before you left. So when they got on the boat and they go on though what Jesus said. Let me show you something. I don't see me with your spiritual man. Give me with that inner man. The Bible says, if you ever read the story, it wasn't until they got into the midst of the sea. The devil sometimes he ain't gonna bother you when you just get started with that sin and you're doing. He's gonna wait until you become an addiction. And who thinks you don't want to be distempted with your own addiction? And he went here and got into the midst. And sometimes he's gonna wait until you get in the midst of your trouble, in the midst of your affliction, in the midst of your trials and tribulations. And the Bible said they got the boat out into the midst of the sea, and that's when the waves and the storm and all that stuff made our stuff happen. But if you keep reading the story, the Bible said that's when Jesus decided to come to them. And the Bible said, Hey, come meet him. See, when you didn't get in trouble, don't get Jesus, he writes that. And right there, he came to The Bible said, walking on the sea. Because he knew his disciples, his followers was in trouble. And the Bible reads that when they saw him, they were afraid. Because the Bible says they thought he was a they thought he was a spirit. We say ghost today.

SPEAKER_02

You know that's what that means.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

They thought they saw a ghost. Who done seen somebody walk on one? Yeah, they got skinny. We all ran in the midst of trauma. And now we're seeing ghosts.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my God.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

I don't know how we do because we don't play that ghost stuff. But Jesus, being Jesus said, He told him, it's me. Don't be afraid, it's me. It's me. I'm coming. I saw I knew y'all was out here in trouble. But here comes Peter. The bold one. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Lord, if it be you did me to come out there with you, then all Jesus said was, Come. Because if I'm out here, you can be out here. If I'm in the midst of your trouble, you alright. See the C3 Hooper was alright in the fire furnace because that was a fourth one in there, wouldn't you? Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Lord, yes, Lord.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

One who tells the fire what to do. One who tells the heat what to do. And see, I was gonna say something. In the midst of your trouble, keep go back and read that stuff. You can see the Bible says they was walking around in the flame. They was trying to run out of there because they were gonna fire. And they didn't come out, read the stuff. Never come around. But the Bible said, they'll walk around in the flame. Y'all don't know about hear what I'm trying to tell you. In the midst of your trouble, in the midst of your circumstances. Do you not know you can be walking around them like they ain't even affecting you? When your faith is in God, when your when you don't have no doubt in God, when you have gotten to a place of normal doubt, the find the firmness of problems don't even bother you. The lives of these don't bother you. People speaking negativism on your lives don't bother you. It ain't the words of people that control your life. It's the word of God that's on your life. Come on out here. Because I'm with you. And if you ever, people always run over this, but I don't like to run over this. The Bible says Peter began to walk on the water as well. Wait a minute, Lord. You trying to tell me that we can walk on the water? We can walk with our problems. We can walk with our situations. Instead of our situations walking on us. See, some of us you can tell when their problem is all over them. You can tell when their situation is choking them. Because instead of it being under their feet, they're wearing it like a garment. What's wrong with you? And I I I'd be willing to tell people I'm gonna get to near tell people this one day. Because I'm gonna tell them so bad. I said in my mind, I'm gonna tell people why you walk around here looking so ugly. With your ugly self. I won't tell people that.

unknown

Come on.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Oh, I know I'm gonna get cussed. I already know it. But see, the Bible teaches us y'all, we ain't supposed to walk around without countenance.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Looking all ugly and all frail, and like we just so some people. Because some of us I believe we want the pity of others.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Some of them we want folks to know we're going through such bad times. And so man can do something about your problems. You can walk around here looking ugly, all me over you. What can I do for you? Because see, there's something in your life y'all can't nobody saw a butt God. But we still fail in this because we still look for somebody to help us. I need help. We'll call everybody. Well, see, there's no friend like Jesus. Why tell somebody who can't do nothing about it? But then when we done been turned down and shut up by everybody else, then it might go on. You know, I should have gone to Jesus first. But see, that happens when we don't have a relationship with him. It's very hard to go to somebody you don't have a relationship with. I'm just kind of pastor. Why do you think so many so in the wise don't have no relationship?

SPEAKER_03

They married. Oh my god.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

But don't know what relationship means. See, my Bible says they shall no more be twanged. No more twang, but one. And I don't have time to go into it, but there's a correlation that God patterns the relationship between husband and wife, as his relationship is with us. Why do you think the Bible said, call Jesus the bridegroom and call the church the bride? Because there's a correlation there. Because he spiritually becomes one with us when we're born again.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

But you got husbands and wives not been married for 30, 40, and never been one with each other. I'm like, I'm like, Bible said now these things ought not to be. And see, he wants us to understand that because when we understand on that level, it'll become easy for us to understand on this level. What how important the oneness is. I made all kinds of bad mistakes. I I I'm bad choosing, I can't choose. Well single now. I choose bad, the wrong one. My young dick. Well right when I chose even now. I write that relationship I got right. And guess what? It's gonna have to be he said. If I ever do it again. I won't try to go there. I won't try to do that. He said, come. And Peter came and began to walk on the sea just like Jesus. Read the Bible now. The Bible said, as long as he looked, kept his eyes on the Lord. Well, see, for this split second of the doubt coming out, and the Bible said he looked at the sea, raging, getting boisterous. And see, when we start back looking at our problem situations, my God. Well, they did say they're gonna be out here to cut off that. See, all the way back and think about what they said. And see, doubt done come in. And when doubt comes in, faith goes out to women. And that is when we begin to sink in our situations. But I like what Jesus told. And I like, well, first of all, I like what Peter, he had the senses to cry, Lord, save me. Help me! And Jesus is needed about the buttons he immediately reached out and grabbed me. But this is what I like what Jesus said. Oh thou. But this is what I like right here. He said, Wherefore did thou doubt? What reason you have to doubt? And I'm here. This is Jesus. I'm with you. What reason would you have had to doubt me in the first place if I done told you to come? To get to this place, thanks to God, of no more doubt. We're gonna have to put it in practice. I mean, and really practice our putting our faith to Bible to usury.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Oh, no, we got I got a measure, but you gotta do something with that measure. It's got to increase. You got to put it to use. Get the leg broken now. There's a reason why Jesus said, Oh, you're a little afraid. Because your faith is still small. It should have done growth by now. All the stuff you done been through. You ought to be moving mountains by now.

SPEAKER_03

Come on.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

I'm gonna tell you this, don't think that's wrong. Some of this stuff we're going through now, we all have gotten to the place where we lasted.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, that's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Now take a minute. Thanks scripture. Because when you know what you know, and the devil tried to bring that stuff that you went through two years ago. See, years ago, when we usually let people talk about us, bother us. See, some of us still there. But some of us who don't roll past that, you can talk about all that. Call me, call me ugly or I laugh at that kind of stuff. People call me all kinds of stuff now. I just laugh at it. All I'm trying to say is it don't bother my spirit no more. Is that all you got? I don't get to that. That's nothing. Oh, but if you want to see where I'm at now, see, so many people won't. Somebody else's anointing. We can't give nobody, we can't give out anointing. That comes from God. But see, but see, if they let us keep asking, if they keep asking you, say, okay, if you want this kind of anointing like that, let me tell you some of stuff I've had to go through to get this. Let me tell you how I've been crushed. Let me tell you what some of the things that I've been throwing in pits and let me tell you, uh, some of the times I'd have been in such a thick darkness I couldn't see my way. Let me let me show you what I done been through. You want this anointing? Come on, let me show you. This is how you did it. When you don't have to lay prostrate on the floor, crying out to God all night long. To know what it's like to have everybody turn their back on. But you still, hallelujah. I'm gonna have to let y'all go. But let me let me say this. Let me say this. Hallelujah. That was a time in my life. I said, Holy city, I told y'all this. I went to God and said, Lord, look like I'm losing every fight I'm in, look like I'm losing. Getting beat up. There was a title before hitting me in my eye.

unknown

Upper cuts.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

But you know, the Holy Ghost is a teacher just like Jesus. Because see, I had this in my head that fighting spiritually was the same as fighting naturally. There's a winner, there's a loser. But the Holy Ghost said, uh, you can't look at spiritual warfare like this. See, in spiritual warfare, he this is what he got me. It changed my whole life. He said, Through all that getting whooped that you thought you would get whooped and jumped on by the devil and failing and flunked. I flunked some tensions. But the Holy Ghost said, But did you keep the faith? See, that's that's the that's the victory of what you're going through. Ain't about me and the devil had a custom and I wore, did you keep the faith?

SPEAKER_03

All right, amen.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Because no matter how much he whoops on you, you cannot whoop out your faith in God. Whole lot of saints in the Bible had black stars, whole lot of saints were stolen in hand that they had cut off, but they kept the faith. He said, Did you keep the faith? Yes, the Holy Ghost. I kept the faith because he ain't gonna stop me from believing in you. Well, you were victorious.

SPEAKER_02

All right, all right. Thank you, Lord.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

See, some of the things we didn't do it quite like we thought we were supposed to do it. Right, it comes down to your faith staying intact. Right because see, sometimes some people can go through battles and they they stop believing. Oh, that's when the devil won. But if you go through and you keep the faith and you didn't waver, you were victorious in your spiritual warfare. And I had to thank the Holy Ghost for that. Thank you. Thank you that I keep the faith. Help me to keep on keeping the faith. Because I'm determined to get to that place of no more doubt. I'm determined to get to that place where I only have faith in God. Jesus had to tell the crowd one day, have faith in God. When ain't nothing going right, and you're gonna have someday ain't not a thing gonna go right. And you're gonna say, What in the world? What I done did, Lord, if I don't send or what I done did, let me help somebody. A lot of times you're gonna say it ain't gonna be because you done did nothing wrong at all. It might be because you're doing everything right, and what you don't realize is and honestly, when you're doing everything right, and God's gonna take you to the next level, what I told y'all, little sonny new levels, new devils. See them them devils you fought when you first got saved, them was imps.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

They just had to live on. Well now when you get to be and there you can't grow staying what you are once you have passed that level, once you master that level, you just can't you ain't growing.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

You know, back in my day, I remember they would keep folks in third grade, fourth grade, two, three years. Be the big thing in the class. You know that child need to get out of here, don't be little church. But spiritually, God don't promote you because you done been there for ten years. You're gonna stay, I'm excuse my consciousness, you're gonna stay right there until you realize that you need to grow in the Lord. And one thing I learned that y'all do to grow, you're gonna have to go through something. You're gonna have to stop if you're gonna reign with him. You ain't gonna get to the next level not going through something. God tries about Lord, they talk about me. Lord, they won't mess with me. People don't let me. Y'all know, read the Bible. Y'all know Moses had died. And Joshua was running things, and they wouldn't lose not now. Tell everybody. But one day somebody had some sin in the camp. They'll start losing. Joshua's the one. What don't we lose? We ain't used to losing. We win battles. These little bit of peon makes it whooping us. Choose some sin in the camp somewhere. And anytime you got sin somewhere in your life, ain't nothing gonna go right. So here comes Joshua. He's praying to the Lord, the Lord has read about God told us, get up from here. Get yourself up and find what a sin is in the camp. Crying out to me because I'm done. I'm not the way God in that. I'm not gonna pity you. You get up and find the sin. See, I want to go right now what a sin is in our life.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-oh. Right. Come on, man. Come on, you're with me.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

What's that this is gonna say? We all know right now where our sin at.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Where our struggle at. Where our lack of faith is at. Where our stagnated growth is at. Right now. We're gonna never tell nobody, but you know, and God knows. That's what I tell people. Our biggest enemy is ourselves, the flesh. Come on, say it. I know if you say, you gotta be careful for the world. You got to be careful for the devil. You got to be careful of the flesh. But I said, no, you be careful for the flesh. Because you can ignore the world. You ain't got to come over everything the world come out with you. You can ignore the world. And the Bible says you can resist the devil and he'll flee from you. He'll even leave you full time. But you take you everywhere you go. You know some of the things you don't see and you do. You know some of the things you don't heard you say. Devil ain't heard him. The world ain't heard him. But you we got to get ourselves together. He said, get up here and find a more saying that in the camp. He finds it too. Like long story short. When he found he dealt with it. Oh, Achan. Sorry, Achan. Because see, he read the show. Not only did he get Achan, he got his family, children, wives. Y'all know what the Bible said they did. Anybody know what he did? Set them all as fire. God is serious when it comes to sin.

SPEAKER_03

Lord have mercy.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

You might say, God, who set them folks on on fire like that? Well, why you think about that? God got some fire waiting on you. Set you afire. You don't live, right? I ain't trying to scale nobody, but the book that the book said. And do you know that book said that fire is unquenchable? Can't you put it out?

SPEAKER_03

Oh my God.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Then he said something about the brimstone. That stuff looked like lava charcoal brisket falling out scale, but they were fine. If you don't say what brimstone is, and whatever it hit, it burned. See, some of us can holler real good. But you ain't holler like this, yeah. You ain't holler like you go holler. Pray for me. I was iron in my shirt this morning, and I burnt myself with the iron. I holler. But they ain't compared to this I don't live right with a hollow hollow. You know the Bible says, a cry gonna be made. There's gonna be a cry like ain't never been heard before ever. When the reality of our destination of our eternal life sets in, Lord. When we see him coming on the clouds, and we ain't ready. There's gonna be a cry made. See, the kind of cry that you make when reality sets in, when you realize, oh Lord, I done waited too long and I done wasted too much time. And time done run out. And my soul is lost. And one thing that you're gonna be able to contribute to your soul being lost, the Bible teaches it, because of unbelief. Because we doubted to believe what the word says. The word said, let me just read this. I'm gonna let you go. This last one, I didn't get to Hebrew, but it's part of Hebrew. The Bible says, The Lord said, I swear in my wrath. He's gonna show them. When he delivered them, to deliver them out of their problems of Egypt. The book said 430 years. He said, I heard the cry from my people. I got them out here for myself in the wilderness and showed them, fed them. They wanted to get some water. I'm providing the water about the rock. They got the crowd, we ain't got no bread. I'm getting out of running from hell. Let's go to crap. What do you mean? I'm not quite.

unknown

Green.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Some people of color. They better get a little colour too. What can you speak up from? And the lumber and swap in the room. Come back to your mouth won't make the sweat mistake. I'm dying the almighty God. You shall not swear in my wrath. They shall not enter into my wrist. Y'all know the rest the rest is heaven. We gotta take us, and you're gonna be glad to rest from all this foolishness. From all this craziness. God gonna take us to a place where we won't have to worry with this kind of stuff, not no moment. And we're gonna miss it because we doubted it. He says to all of us, as he so to them, she said, Take heed. Lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief. See, God calls unbelief a person with an unbelief, he got an evil heart. I told you that the insult to not believe in God. God considers that to be evil. The Bible also tells me, whatsoever is not of faith is singing. He said, Take heed. Because someone's gonna be walking around here, we're gonna have an evil heart of unbelief, and it's gonna keep us from the rest of God. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you, just like it was in them. An evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. When you doubt in God, and when you make a habit of doubting God, all you're doing is continually drifting away from the living God. The more you get away from God, the more you doubt and live and walk in unbelief, you get further and further away from God. And to whom he said, Now, who do you think I swear in my wrath? To whom swear that they should excuse me, and to whom swear he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believe not. That's who I swear again. Them that didn't believe. Why come why bring you to heaven when you don't believe in heaven? Why show you my power when you don't believe in my power? Why show you my blessing if you don't believe I can bless? And I'm the blessing man, and I got the blessing place. And I got the power to bring it to passion. Why if you don't believe in me? Why people you don't believe? He says, as I come down, he says, so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Now that was them. And if you go on and read that fourth chapter, he will tell you, he said, there's a second rest coming. See, this one was the children of Israel, naturally so in the in the wilderness. That was the first one. Because they were on their way to Canaan, to the promised land that God had promised that land that He was gonna give them. And they were trying to get them a piece of portion. But the Bible said that fourth time, there's another rest coming. This is the spiritual rest. And some of us, just like the children of Israel, don't miss it because we walked in unbelief. We believe people stronger than we believe God. That's the truth. Amen. Don't you all know that's crazy? Why do you say that? Because don't y'all know people will lie to you? Anybody here have been lied to you?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, sir. Anybody here liar?

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Anybody raise their hand? I said anybody here liar. Ain't nobody raised no hand. We know what lying is. See, we we we capable of lying. We capable of deception. We capable of running games.

unknown

That's it.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

But we yet believe people. But God, who has never done us wrong, God who has never failed us, God who is truth.

unknown

Thank you.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

He is truth. We still fail to believe. Because we have not got to a place that we know him greater than we know him now. Y'all, and I've been dealing with this subject of knowledge. Having a knowledge of God on the level we it's some levels of knowledge of God that we haven't even tapped into. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

It's some things about God we and you will not go know him until we put ourselves in the position to go higher in him. See, someone gets to certain levels God, we good. I'm fine. I'm good where I'm at. But don't you know God wants greater things for us? Because in order for us to take on the complete transformation, complete transformation. I'm coming down and say this. In my meditation time a few years back, the whole was always talking to me. He hauled off one time and told me, he said, Ain't none of y'all going to hell. And he got quiet. He wanted me to thank. I had no idea what it was. Ain't nobody going to hell. He said, Ain't none of y'all going to heaven. He paused to explain it, but who would he explain it? He said, 'Cause what God wants in heaven is a bunch of Jesuses. Those who have been transformed into the image of his son. He said, none of y'all going. Who you be, none of y'all, Holy Ghost? None of what makes you you. Your attitude. Your stank and wait. Ain't none of that going to heaven. See that what makes us these the things that we we associate with our identity? Ain't none of that going to heaven. You got to have the identity of Christ before you leave. That's what he means to younger y'all. What makes you you? Everybody knows I'm a place. Everybody know me. In my day, ain't nothing that's going to hell. You might want to say him. No, no, no. You say him, Dan. Before you leave him, you're going to be, see, we're going to we're going to be to have been transformed into the image of Jesus. And all that's going to be walking around in heaven is everybody going to be Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

What do you think the Bible says? He's the begotten, the only begotten. Why do you think the Bible says he's the firstborn of many? Okay, now, Lord, let me ask you this. Are we like Jesus or not? If you were to come today, wait a minute, I wait for the Holy Ghost. Don't say the face. You mean I got to be like Jesus? So what I said this morning, Jesus wouldn't say stuff like that. Well, I come to church. The stuff I've been saying on my job about we Jesus wouldn't act like that. Them attitudes I have of people. Them two-faced ways. Well, Jesus act like there is that Jesus. See, we don't want the truth because see the truth. It can come if you're wrong sometimes. And the truth will hit you in your face. That's one of the one. That's why you have I've heard people say, lie to me.

SPEAKER_03

Lie to me. Are you crazy?

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Because they don't want to hear the truth. Because see, the truth can be harder for some people. And lies, I've heard lies on lies. Lies are easy to say. But when you give them the truth, especially the truth about themselves, it can be hard to handle. See, see, one thing, one thing you gotta understand before we get ourselves together, we first got to admit to God I'm not what I ought to be. I don't all the time act like I, I don't all the time act like Jesus. But Lord, I'm gonna humble myself. If you help me and show me how to give it, I will start working on myself today. Because if you came today, y'all remember how Lazared other Lazarus, that's the one Jesus wrote from dead that other man, the rich man left. The Bible saw high in hell he lifted up his eyes. He thought because he was rich and had all kind of stuff. He was in. Oh, the Bible says, when the the the Lazarus died, the rich man died. Lazarus, the poor man, the Bible said he was in the Abraham's book. But the Bible said the rich man in hell lifted up his eyes and got the crown. I'm tormented in this life. Well, you shouldn't live right. You shouldn't have got saved. Should have got saved with the Holy Ghost. God, thanks to God, God is a just God.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, he is.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

And all of us, when we stand before Him, we will not have no reason to say, Lord, I didn't have enough time. Because God has given us all enough time. To because especially if He has drawn us. He said, No man comes to the father, let my father draw come to me, let's my father's drawn. Some of us don't know we're going to be living, better we will be living now. But we keep kicking it just to prick. I'm gonna come in after a while if I ain't doing what I'm doing. I told somebody the other day, whatever you doing to cause you to go to hell, the devil ain't gonna let you do it in hell. How many blood lights you like to drink? How much jeans you like to sip on? Ain't got none in hell. Oh, you can't get none of that in hell. So why go to hell behind something that you're not gonna be able to do once you get there? Let me show you something. Let me give you the hope though. But if you live in right now, and if you're walking in Jesus now, you can you know old friends I come and they say, I want to, I'm gonna when I get to heaven, walk around heaven all day. I ain't never read that, but I know that see they used to say it. But this part I like. One of my favorite scriptures, and I'm coming down for real this time. The Bible says, Have you ever read this? He said, Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God. He goes on in verse 2 say, beloved, it does not yet appear what we shall be. He said, But this we know, this much we do know. He said, When he shall appear, talk about Jesus, we shall be like Dr. Honest for Don't come in my face, somebody's gonna be an angel. Don't come in my face, somebody gonna be no angel. He said we're gonna be like the angel's already created. God is gonna make he don't need no more angel. God is looking for a race of people that's gonna be like his son. He ain't up, we don't get up here what we shall be. He won't tell us not because he wants you to live a life. You don't know if you get there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

But he gave you this much, whatever it's gonna be, you're gonna be like him. That's what I want. And each and every day we should be striving to be like him. If God revealed to you, you need to stop this, stop it. If God reveals to you, you need to get away from this, get away from. I'm gonna hear somebody say this, but I don't mean all. If God tells you, sir, you need to stay up around. Stay up and around them. Because if then if you ain't strong enough spirited to resist what you got to do around them or what they do around you. Because God knows we don't need to set ourselves up for no more than what we already got to go through. We got enough y'all to deal with already. And see his thing about it, he says also this word. If any man hated not, mother, father, sister, brother, hold up and wife, children, he goes on to say, yea, even your own life. Don't get don't get a trick now because I said hate. But you gotta understand the Greek meaning. That word hate means love less. It means you ain't the only people like this you both love more than me. That's all he thinks. That's what that's all that word, that word hate. It don't mean what Webster dictionary. That word hate in that script take means to love less. I'm the one dying for you. I'm the one preparing a place for you, I'm the one transforming you into my image. I am the one to be your first love. And it can't be no other way. And if we are to enter into that place of no more doubt, we need to start trusting him no matter what the world throws at us, no matter what the devil try to reveal to us, no matter what people do to us, I'm gonna trust the Lord and I will never doubt him ever again. I don't care if I don't go if I go through the same thing five times a week, I'm gonna still trust him. No more doubt. Because if I doubt, I ain't getting nothing from the Lord. And that's too much I need spiritually from him before I see his face. Hallelujah. Father God, we thank you. Your word is forever, several in heaven. Your word is truth, and it's that truth, Lord, we feed upon and apply to our lives each and every day. Help us, Lord. If there be any doubt anywhere, let it cease this day. From taking over our hearts and minds, from taking over our spirits. You are not to be doubted. And ask your forgiveness, Lord. We ask that forgiveness, Lord, for those times we have doubted you, those times we have walked in unbelief. Let those days be no more. For you are mighty God, and there's nothing too hard for you. And even when we don't understand everything that's going on in our life, help us to still trust you. And lean not to our own understanding. We pray in Jesus' name. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_03

Thank God. Amen.

Pastor Rickey D. Dixon

Now today.
