Once we come into the knowledge of knowing that there is nothing bigger nor greater than our God, the sooner we will realize that the giants we face in life are small, in comparison to him. Yes, there will be giant things we will face in this life, and some of these things will attempt to overwhelm us. These giants will take on the form of lack of finances, health problems, and the bombardment of many bills and life expenses. These giants are everywhere, but so is God.
I say unto you, when we stand in faith against every giant which stands before us, know this, though they may be big, big giants fall hard. Keep the faith and you will be able to cut off the very heads of your giants.
We just give honor to God this morning. So glad, y'all. This is another month, y'all. October. October. Already. October. We have God has spared us to live to see it. I'm so glad and I'm so thankful for all that He has been doing up until this point. I'm just in awe. I don't like to just focus on a lot of things. I don't tell a lot of things God do with me. But yesterday just it just shook me up. You know, of course we had Saturday morning prayer yesterday morning, uh, nine o'clock. But I was also scheduled to be in my job uh after prayer. Uh and and oh my ways, there's something I was in all because God blessed me three specific times yesterday. I said, Lord, before I left Miller, he he somebody brought a blessing by the house. When I got to Boza, a total stranger, y'all blessed me. And when I left Boza, somebody blessed me all the way from Atlanta. I said, Lord, what in the world is going on? It just said, yes, sir. I said, Lord, you just so amazed, you can never pinpoint how God is gonna do anything, y'all. I'm saying, I'm just amazed uh the way God does something. But then again, I focus on the word of God, how he says that in his word that a lot of times it's gonna be a total stranger just you can't bless you. He said, Press down, shake yourself me and give it to your book, and people will bless you when that's total stranger. She don't really know me. Didn't know who I was or nothing. I said, Well, Lord, I thank you. Because God, listen, God will it's just amazing. That's why I ain't trying to tell y'all what they did because I don't want to focus on that. I want to focus on the fact it was God.
Speaker 1Amen.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonAnd how he does things. Don't ever try to figure out how God's gonna do something. You'll be you're gonna mess up every time. See, God be here long than we have. He got ways of doing things that he not even has not even revealed. And what the scripture says, eyes have not seen, neither are ears heard, nor has it in into the hearts of men the things that God will do for them that love him. We can't even imagine. I listen to I listen to I'm gonna get to my message. I'm so glad for all y'all this morning, so glad to our Lord God, to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to our to the Holy Ghost, to our brothers and sisters on the conference line, to all of you that are here this morning. I hear Sister Kim say something. Somebody said something about when you're back against the wall. Do you understand what that means? See, when your back against wall, I mean you've done back up as far as you can go. Now you're back up against the wall. And it made me think while she was talking, it made me think about the children of Israel, how when God had delivered them out of Egypt, and they was on their way, and they had got to the Red Sea. And if you read the story, the sea was in front of them, and Pharaoh's armor was coming behind them. So they was that was up against it. What we gonna do? And a lot of times that's us. Because when we get to that point, see, it's one thing to be backing up, but then the whole other thing when you're done back up and you're up against the water now, you can't go no further. Some gonna have to give. Either you're gonna see. And I and I thank God. Because I'm getting understanding God allows us to be put in certain situations sometimes so that we can release our faith. Because you got a choice to make when you're back up against something. You got a choice to make. Is you gonna have faith? Or you're gonna try to come out at your own way, which that's what we mess up at. Come trying to have our own way. See, a lot of times we like that here, some of these folks on these jobs, and families, and husband, wives, and cheering reading up, sometimes they'll back us up. But that's a perfect opportunity for us to release our faith in God. And I heard Moses say when I was reading that, because children is see, be careful now, because when you're back against the walk against walk, you gotta be careful because that's when the end is gonna bring all them other spirits that work with him. Fear is gonna be one of the main ones. Now he's gonna get say, Oh, what are we gonna do? You know how we do? We get see, a lot of us don't like to make that we do them kind of thing. Get freshful, get fearful. But I remember what Moses told him. He told them about the word, and he said, Because after this day, you shall see the Egyptians no more. After this day, look at that. When your back up against the wall, God sees everything. And when his children get up against it, you gotta understand. That's a perfect opportunity for God to show his hand. I'm gonna show you something. Don't worry, don't worry about the Egyptians. Don't even worry about the Red Sea because I'm already for the part that he hadn't even part of it yet. But I'm gonna show you something. You ain't gonna see them no more. You see them coming at you, but you ain't gonna see them no more after this hill day. I don't know who wrote that song. This was old, old spirit song about Pharaoh's armor got drowned in the Red Sea. They didn't see them no more. And then here's another thing I like when God taking care of you. Now, when he parted the Red Sea, the ground should have been saturated, soaking wet because there was the Bible. But they went by down, they didn't get God got a way of taking care of y'all. And all this week, several times this week, it brings me to my message this morning. I don't know why, but the God I don't know how many days this week, but in my meditation, giants. We worried about giants, giants, things that we can we make out of giants. Let me say like this. We make certain problems, giants in our lives, we make certain situations giants in our lives. We create certain circumstances in our own mind and cause that thing to form to a giant. And some of us, when we look at something, we think something bigger than we are. We we we pant, we we worry, we fret, we fear. But I'm here to tell you this my own talk to you this morning. Let me help somebody this morning, help myself too. That the God we serve, I don't care what you come up against, you are able, because he who you serve is greater and bigger than any giant that'll ever come in your life. I know we've had our people where the bills seem like they're giants. Problem in our health seem like they're giants. But I'm gonna tell you, well, I can go back and tell y'all so many times, so much that happened with me spiritually and mentally when I laid in that hospital for four months. The way the devil will try to play with your mind and make it seem like this thing is bigger than you, this evil has got you sold, it's gonna take you up out of him. All kinds of things he'll bring to you that you and we can't stop there. But see, here's the thing about when you know who you serve. I'm gonna tell you, keep living. If you have faith, a faith connection with God, even during those times when you seem like you were in uh a wilderness experience, and when it seemed like you're in the darkest hour, when it seemed like you over get uh uh something that's that appears to be bigger than you are. I remember how the children of Israel back in Moses' time when uh he sent out those spies to spy out the land. Twelve of them, one for each tribe of the tribes of Israel. Ten came back complaining and scared, because they claimed they saw giants in the land. Two came back and said, Oh, we can take them. Caleb and Joshua come back, we can take them. Because Caleb and Joshua wasn't looking at the giant that the world sees. Caleb and Joshua were looking at the giant who God is. Oh, we can take them. But those kids that no, we look like grasshoppers to them. Come on now, you're putting yourself real small. So how can we serve a God who we say is bigger and greater than anything, but still see yourself as a grasshopper. See yourself as small. Yeah, we may be small, but the God inside of us is a great God. The God we serve is an awesome God. Oh, we can take it. Because I don't care how big they are, show me somebody that's bigger than God. All these we are giants, giants. We can't be worried about the giants, we can't let fear set us in our hearts about the giants, because the devil's gonna send giants. But I like to say he's gonna send things that's gonna appear to be or look like a giant. But see, if we looking with eyes by faith, let me tell you about a young man. His brother was all fighting. Not all of them, the three oldest ones. Eliam, Abiniab, and Shammah, his three oldest brothers. They was in a battle because Israel was in a battle with the Philistines. And Jesse sent them off the fight, but the rest of them said how to he being the youngest. They had been in battle for a long time, so he his father said, Go take your brother, take your brother something, he take him some cheese and some other little things, and bread. Check on, see how they're doing, because they've been gone all some 40, some days, I think the Bible says, in the in the first chapter of 1 Samuel, the book of 1 Samuel. David went down there and the Bible reads that by the time he got there, he approached his brother, greeted him, hey, how you doing? You know, being a young, he's glad to see his old brothers. But by the time he got there, the Bible said, From the crowd came this big Philistine. And the Bible, or if you read a few verses from there, it says, Israel and the Philistine, they'd always put the battle in a range. They just they weren't doing nothing. They were just, you know how putting stuff in a range that's really uh flaunting, how big we got. We got more men and y'all, but ain't nobody going down there to do no fight. But they is uh they they stir the luck we do, we talk a good game, but ain't nobody putting no faith on nothing. We testify about the great thing, but what is the evidence? What what uh put up a shut up and they was all putting the battle in the race, both sides. Nobody wants, you know, I once was uh growing up uh in my younger days. I heard the old guy say, he said, when two guys were about to fight, but neither one of them was doing that. He said, one scared and the other glad. Because he wasn't wanting to do nothing. He putting up and blushing like they wanted to fight, but the other he really scared, but he's so glad that the other ain't doing that. So don't need one of them wanna get into nothing. And that's how children of Israel was the Philistine was they just got it all in a ray, you know, floating up and down, beating the drums, and we gonna do this, we're gonna, but Ben Moore was on this side of the mouth, the other was on this side. But the Bible ain't nobody went down in the valley to meet to do no battle. So the Philistines thought we can intimidate. Watch you when the devil tried to intimidate you. He'll tell you, you know for you with it. Look in your pocket, but you didn't have enough money to say to be. Intimidation. You know when your children say them home, you don't have enough money to go to McDonald's. You know, he's trying to intimidate you. So they set this giant old man. Y'all know so I was saying he was six cute. That's well over nine, almost ten feet tall. Intimidate to a man to be sharp until David, who was a sharp little boy at that time. You know, that should intimidated him. Let me tell you something. When you have been putting your faith in God all your life, it don't matter what your stature is, it don't matter uh your physique or your education or or whatever people may uh attribute to somebody being somebody, to somebody being, you know, who's who. It don't matter. Because see, when you don't work with law, and and and and make a long story short, you have to read that 17th chapter verse 7. Yeah, to make a long story short. When he came up with to greet his brother and heard the line ran, I'll tell you, I'm the champion of me. Same one of y'all about him. Let him try me. And then what is who is this of circumcised should have son? Who is this talking against the I like what David said, he said, against the army of the living God. Name all of them they belong to God. What are you his army? What are you his child? What are you his daughter? What are you his son? If anybody belongs to God, you don't talk against anything that belongs to God. That's what David phone was. Who is this talking against the arms of the living God? He didn't care about how big he was, there's all circumcisions they got no business talking against. Nothing that belongs to God. And I'm here to tell you the devil ain't got no business. And you need to know he ain't got no business messing with you when you belong to the living God. Our height should kick in, and we should not let ourselves be intimidated. But yeah, come back now. He's the king. King Saul was the cave. He said bottom paraphrase, he said, Well, you can't go down there and mess with this man being here. David, he let Saul say speak. David said, read the story when you get to that. David said, Listen, I'm your servant. He said, I've been watching my own daddy, she my father see. A lion came up one day, a bow came up another day. He said, I slew him. That's what got me. And David said, When the lion tried to walk off with the lamb, he said, I wouldn't took him out of his mouth. Read the sermon. He said, I took the lion by the beard. The lion's man, he said, I took him by the beard and I slew him. Who walked up to the lion and grabbing? But see, I tell y'all, when you don't walk with the law for a long time, see, when David got to the battle with his brother who was fighting with King Saul and about to face Goliath, see, when you have already put your faith in use long before the big giant comes. See, some of us use our faith long before now. And we have already been up against a lot of things before now. And see, now is when we see big problems, when we see big circumstances, it don't faze us because we've already been up against lions and bears. And defeated them. And David, as a young boy, had faith in God, that he knew that it wasn't his ability because he learned while he was walking the sheep how to trust in God. But with the power and the faith in God. She told you, man, I'm a bit up against what he really said. I'm a big up against big things, so I ain't nothing to me. And Saul listened to this young man, and when he let David say, he said, Well, go. But here's mess, here's let me see how someone would listen. Before he left, Saul wanted to fit him in some armor that didn't belong to him. Can we fight about him somebody? And I hope to help somebody. Don't never try to do something like somebody else just did something. Don't never try to go about it and handle it the way you heard somebody, the way they handle their. Trust me on this. Wait and do it the way God leads you to do it. David had to tell people you keep a see, I this you try to put on me. I ain't just ain't I ain't gonna try to prove this. Let me use what I know how done try. All I need is a slash. And the Bible says, he thought people I can't put this, I can't win it. So the Bible says, David put it off of them. I can't, I can't do it your way. I can't do it man's way. Let me do it the way God showed me to do it when I face the line and the bath. Let me use the same techniques because I know that works. See, because what works for you might not work for me. But if my face got to be used according to what God leads me to use it, he just walked down there to the brook, got five smooth stones. And then just because you don't know what that means. Five. When God's about to do something in your life, watch the hand of God now. Five smooth stones, it represents the hand of God. He won't go use for one, but he got him to represent the hand of God. And the Bible said, He took his had his shepherd's staff with him, took his staff, walked on down there. Bible said he had a shepherd's bag on the side to put his five smooth stones in. And the Bible said while he walked toward Goliath, he had his slings. But keep reading, the Bible said, When Goliath saw Lil David coming at him, his devil is there. I'm sure he's dead. When you try to face your problems, when you try to face your situation, the devil gonna try to even God, now he's gonna try to intimidate you, now he's gonna try to manipulate you. You ain't nothing. You say, I believe I have you coming up against me. I tell you what, keep coming if you want to. He said, I'm gonna feed your flesh to the fowls of the ham and to the beast of the field. They just let it talk. And when Goliath got to talk, this is what David said. Let me tell you something. The Lord had delivered a lion and a band in my hand. And he's gonna deliver you into my hand. Oh, that just wrote Goliath the wrong way. The Bible said he started walking fast at David. And read the Bible. The Bible said when he David saw that David took out running running toward him. Let me start again. See, some of us we don't understand that certain situations and problems in our lives, they're gonna have to be killed and dealt with. Not just deal with your four minutes and I deal with a little bit later. Some things gonna have to be destroyed right then and there. Let me show you something where your faith is gonna be strong at. Some of the things you're gonna have to run and face them. See, we used to wagging up, but that's gonna be something we got to run and face. Because we got to destroy this thing to end it once and for all. And David knew he had to destroy the line once and for all. Because you can read it, he's gonna say, Because you have defied the living God. You don't serve nothing more. When you come up against God, or when you come up against something that belongs to God, you deserve to be taken out. And your problems that's coming up against you, who are the sons and daughters of God, they need to be dealt with and destroyed. What? And for all. Then David told me, Since you said you're gonna feed my flesh in the father's land, the beast of him, I'm gonna do yours like that. I'm gonna let them eat off of you. He said, Then I'm gonna tell you, he said, then I'm gonna take your head. And he ran, he started to run it towards the meet Goliath. While running, he was able to feel his swing. And the Bible said, when he slung the stone at Goliath, it hit dead in the center of his forehead. Not just here, but then it sunk inside the cranium, the school. And the Bible said he didn't fall back, but he fell from flat on his face. Dropped it. And someone's got to understand these situations that have been plaguing us, you and I, in our lives, we're gonna have to slay them. Once and for all, I have to tell you that. Whatever your glass, stop being afraid of giants. Because you serve God. In my book, I'm gonna say like in my book, there's only one true giant, and that's God. Nothing else is John of a John than he is. And see, here's the thing, Mike. We got to always remember, sons and daughters of God are a part of God. And what do we want to accept it now? What our faith can grasp this or not? A piece of God is in you and I. When you have accepted his son as your only as your Lord and Savior, a piece of him has now, that's what my Bible teaches now, has become a part of you. He tells us that I will come. My father and I will come. Not just be with you, we're going to abide, which means to live in, to dwell in you. We will be there with you. A part of me is in you. And if God is here, you already fully equipped when the problems come. You already fully equipped when situations arise. You already fully equipped when the storms rage, when the earthquake shake. You already fully equipped. Because the God you serve is with you. And David understood that he's with me. He said, God will give me you too. Goliath, then I'm gonna take your head. And the Bible said, when Goliath dropped, David looked around. He didn't bring his sword with him. So he looked at their warnings. Goliath had not even took it out of the sheet. But David went and took it out of the sheet and cut his head off with his own sword. Did you see what happened just then? God will flip the script on a lot of our situations, and we'll use what our situation is brought to destroy us. We can use that back on our situation to destroy our situation. Cut his head off with his own soul. And we need to start cutting some heads off of some of these things. We ought to be tired of being vexed by things that we should have defeated by now. So we can go on to the next stuff. That's all I'm saying. It ain't gonna never stop when we need to go on and move on to the next thing. I ain't got time to go up to it because Goliath had other brothers. See, the devils at the devil. Let me tell y'all something. Remember this. New levels, new devils. Every level you go. See the devils you fight now, these ain't gonna be the devils you deal with on the next level. Because you got them out the way. But as you go higher, as we sing the higher, take me higher, know what you're saying when you sing that. Know what you're saying. Higher the Lord, and yes, and the Lord is gonna take you to higher heights, and you're gonna go to higher levels of faith and higher levels of glory and higher levels of job. But new levels gonna be the new devil, too. And we need to move on. Because on the next level, you might have lions and tigers and bears on this level. I remember talking about Jesus there's gonna be some level of scorpions and surfers. There's gonna be some big snakes and some big scorpions, there. But whatever level, it don't matter. God will take us. You know the script in the Bible says, from faith to faith, from level to level, God will take us. But so many of us we get bogged down, putting the battle in a race, but we ain't made that step to step out on faith. We made that step, that step to step out on trust in the Lord. Because if we look at, we see our eyes, we once we I believe once we get our spiritual eyes in check, if we stop looking at the bill, gonna come to mail, look like it's higher than the one last month. But that don't matter. Because if he paid it last, he'll pay it this. Because I know I've seen some big bills. Well, hey, it all gets paid. Run your hour you want to. 24 hours a day. You ain't gonna get no little bill. Ain't no way you're gonna be no big deal. But see, no matter how big of a giant things are, I trust in the Lord. Now I don't do things foolishly to tempt the Lord, but I know I trust him. And I know he's gonna make a way because he's a maywaker, maywaker, way maker. And I know that's just he's a mind regulator. And when your mind has been conditioned to have faith in God, see, some of us do so many things that our minds is automatically clicked to faith whenever we go to something. It's all make no faith. Trust the Lord, the Lord's gonna make a way. I tell God all the time throughout the day, throughout the week, I said, Lord, you always make a way. I said, You always make a way. And I have grown to trust that each and every month, He said, Do y'all know the month this October? It's gonna be some October bills, it's gonna be some October situations, it's gonna be some October circumstances, but if God took care of all those things that was listed upon the September, then he's gonna take care of all the things that will be listed upon the October. And if we but trust in Him and put our faith in Him and stop looking at Him as though it is a giant of a situation when it's small in the eyes of God. Nothing in the eyeside of God. Is there anything too hard for God? I'm finished. If it ain't then too hard for God, that you might not be accepted, I gotta ask you a question. Is there anything too hard for God's people again? If it ain't that too hard for God, and I'm God's people, I'm his child, is there anything too hard for God's child? When that child of God is putting his faith in God, when that child of God, that son and daughter are putting their trust in the Lord. When that son and daughter know what that word says, and they're standing on the word, they're standing on the book. They're standing on the fact that God has proven himself and shown himself to us time and time again. Do we forget it? See, David had to bring the song. Yeah, I can tell you time when God done giving me the delivered out the lion now. He said, When they tried to put their paws, God delivered me after pause a lion. He delivered me after pause of bath. And I just know he's gonna deliver me out of the hand of this philosophy. Because he ain't got no business calling against God's people. I don't care how big he is, I don't care how scary he looks, just because he got six fingers on every head and six toes on every foot, that don't mean nothing to God. Because in one single blow, he fell flat on his face. David had to do no fight. You hear what I'm saying? Some of us think that every situation requires us to fight. But all situations don't require us to fight. There are some situations that just require just have faith in God. Ain't that what Jesus said? He just have faith in God. That's all the sight you're gonna need to do sometimes. Just have faith in it, just trust in it. And I'm reading that. David said when he gallide with that fell flat on his face, the Bible said they ran up and stood on him. Stood on his back. You see, do you see what I'm trying to say? When God put some on your feet, you see what you showed you? You be able to stand on your situation. He ran up and stood on that big old man's back. And cut his head off while he was standing on him. Do you not know we can stand up on our situation? We can stand up on our problems. We can stand up. I was talking to a young man yesterday in the grocery store. He said, Rick man, I have these thoughts, the devil's thoughts in my head. Sometimes I just give up. What you mean give up? Suicide. Just end it all. Why are you feeling like that? He said, because I feel like I'm all up in the world. I said, he said, I know it's the devil. I said, yeah, yeah, it's the devil. I said, let yourself think like that. But you'd be surprised how many people are who don't have a defense against the enemy. That they consider and let the enemy talk to you. I said, don't let the devil talk to your head like that. Don't let it bring them kind of thoughts to your mind. Resist the devil. I said, I'm telling you someone, help me, brother. I said, the word of God. When you know what the word says, you will have a defense against the devil. Because when you have the word in your life, when you have the word etched in your heart, when you have the word etched on your mind, you can tell the devil it is written. One defense I know that the devil has no offense against is the word of God. I don't care how uh bad he makes things look, the devil has no defense when it comes to the word of God. Even he has to obey the word of God. They ain't gonna live it, but they know it. Because the Bible says they know the word of God and they tremble. They ain't gonna live it, but they know and they recognize the truth of the word of God. And when you and I allow the word of God to saturate our spirit, saturate our hearts and minds, when we come up against these so-called giants, we'll be able to release the word of God. And the word of God, when we perform and standing on that truth, will bring glory to his name. Don't y'all know when we face our problem, when we face situations by faith, it brings glory to the name of God. And God, when God is glorified. That there is a God in Israel. Isn't that that? And when you and I are triumphant over our situation, people around us will know that's a God in that household. That's a God in that person's life. He said that the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And the world needs to know when we set on our faith that there's a God in our life. And he rules us. See, when I thought we're doing what we're doing, they need to bring glory to your man. They ain't weren't looking for no glory for him. He was bringing glory to the name of the Lord. And you and I. See, when we screen jump and draw up, thank you, man. When we draw up and the world see us draw from our situations and problems, that's the wrong witness that we need to be, that we need to be portrayed to the world. And when we send that witness to the world, we take away from them even looking to God. David couldn't go down there acting like no just because he was a little old, sharp, ruddy boy at that time. He couldn't go down there acting weak and acting like he's scared. Not one minute did he act like he was scared. But the people, when he comes to the millions of the army of Israel, they were putting the battle away. The Bible said they were afraid. When they saw Goliath come through the crowd, the Bible said the children of millions got scared, and the Bible said they fled. Ran back to the camp. Now, what kind of witness was that? But we said we served God. They were saying they were the people of God. Make the fiddle side and laugh at them. Crack jokes on them. Because they're obeying all this to do about their God, but you don't act like you got no God. One thing that helps me, brother, sister, let you go. I have faced a lot of situations and still faces situations. And I know as long as Lord He let me live tomorrow, next month, next year, I'm gonna face more situations down the road. But this is one thing I have learned. No matter what situation comes up against me, no matter what situation that I see trying to attack my life, you will never catch me speaking it. You understand what I'm saying? Now some people say, see, God brought me up there. God had to bring me up in that. When I say speaking it, you cannot afford to let out of your mouth or speak your situation in a negative way. We ain't got nothing. We broke. How we gonna pay? We in trouble. Even though the situation may seem as that, you cannot allow yourself to speak that. Because when you speak certain things, you speak them on your life. If you're gonna say anything, speak what faith is telling you to say. God's gonna deliver you in my hands. He hadn't even killed him yet, but he was already speaking that God was gonna deliver him in his hands before he even killed the man. How I know the lie he's gonna do it? Because he has already shown me by delivering other things into my hands when they were lying and bear. And I know if he did that, to deliver you in my hands ain't nothing for him. If that I'm gonna speak anything, I'm gonna speak that. I'm not gonna speak. Oh, how big you is, and how scared I am of you, and how intimidating you got to be no hair below your head. The Bible says he spirit like a weaver's being. See, we look at the situation, and then when we get the letter, and they say, This is your final notice. Do y'all know what the Bible says? Who you do you know who really has the last thing? And who really gives the final notice? Whose report are we gonna believe? I don't care what people will say to you, God got to always gonna have the last say. And it's only when he said what he said that it's it's final. I don't want us to be intimidated, and God don't want us to be intimidated by what would appear to be the giants of our lives. If anything, what your situations and other people should be seeing is the giant in your life. They should see you as the giant because you are held up by the hands of God. And that makes us giants. The devil ain't gonna tell you this, but that makes us giants in the eyes of the devil. But he ain't gonna tell you you intimidate, you really intimidate him because you got the power to tread upon scarves and serpents, and nothing should by any means hurt you. And the Bible says, Jesus said, I have given you power over all. Because that makes you a giant in his eye, instead of him being a giant in your eye. But because we not allowing the word of God to teach us and not allowing ourselves to be to receive the real truth, that we are somebody now that Christ has come into our lives. Do we hear what Jesus said? He said, I gave you power. Bill come, Jesus said, I gave you power. And I, if you just have faith in me, I shall supply you every need. Not based on what them little few dollars you got in the bank, but according to my riches and glory. I know we want our little ones saved, and we want them to come to church and welcome along, but you know, God will still bless them because you serve him. Locks wives wasn't saved, and none of them children were saved. But do you know why God sparred them? Or at least to get them out of the city? It's because they were connected to somebody that did serve God. See, your children might not know, your residents might not know why they've been blessed. You know, and I I think Joe's children were shaking as far as in and out. Because Joe, he was a lot, he goes, he prayed for his children, he said it could be they done done something that they ain't both been doing, but I'm gonna pray for and God was blessing them up until the time they were destroyed. But then God, when it was all over, he blessed him with more children and gave them double. And I still I can't I never can get that part, and I had that second set of children, he had two daughters, two of them, two of them girls, one was named Jemima. And the Bible said them two there, her and her other sister was the beautiful girls in the land. Blessed, they ain't done nothing, but they father, Job, served the Lord. That's why I see I keep telling us, I know we want to be saved for us. And Lord, I'm glad I'm saved, but you got to let yourself go beyond that. God ain't just saved you just because of you. Because see, your salvation ain't gonna just bless you, it's gonna bless people that's close to you, and it's gonna be a blessing to even total strangers that don't even know you. God, but see, what we need to understand what salvation brings to us, the sons and daughters, children of God. God, God, salvation brings an avenue through us, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through us, that God can reach out to others. Because we are a connection and we are somebody He can tap into when He when we working beside them folks that are unsaved on our job, that God can work through us to touch them, to reach them. Because if I just got one person saved on that in that place you're working in, I can work on somebody. I can reach somebody because whether we believe it or not, it's gonna be some people saved before Jesus gets back here. That ain't never been saved, ain't never thought of been saved. But just say, if he got you in a place where he can get to somebody who has not uh messed their witness up on their job. See, some of them mess our witness up. I don't mean us here in the building, but us church world. Because we allow ourselves to be intimidated by the giants on the job, by people in the authority. But see, if you learn how to, I hear it again. If you learn how to hold your peace, if you learn how to give it to God, see God gotta first see if you're gonna be able to be somebody He can work to because if you can't take them putting rumors out on you on the job, acting ugly against you on the job. How he gonna use you when he really gets ready for you to face that real worse one on the job that don't nobody like. But they can be saved. See that man? I'm gonna let you go. That man that Jesus ran up on, he was living in the tomb in the graveyard. He beat up everybody. They tie him up in chains, they tie him up in ropes and fellows. He break them all, beat folks up. The worst one to deal with. But he could be saved. And when Jesus got there, by the time the others got back, we just over, the Bible said he's sitting there talking to Jesus. And the Bible said, because he ran around naked in the graveyard, he can't. Everybody scared everybody. But the Bible said when the crowd got there, they found him sitting there talking with Jesus. The Bible said he had people's clothes and in his right mind. See a lot of people that's vexing up saying in their right mind. When I mean right mind, they that spirit in them got them the way they are. Because when you don't have a defense, when you don't have the whole ghost against the spirit of the devil, then it can take over your mind. Remember the same thing I'm dealing with by oppression oppressed. So many people are oppressed, and they vex you because their spirit of the devil just can't stand their spirit in you. And the children of the liver, and children of save. I don't think the God of God. Put the finger in the God and have life. Tell them about the standard you. I'm gonna get in my right mind. The devil got my life. And I need help. And nobody's giving me what I need because all I gotta do is talk about it. And think I'm doing this because I want to be, I want to be free like you. But see, Jesus, the Father God, he was able to see past. That person needs help. That person needs to be delivered. And when he touched it, hallelujah. When he touched it, he he he saw that I need to get myself a clothes on, I need to dress myself. And Jesus gave him back his right mind. A mind that's not intimidated by the devil, a mind that's not manipulated by the devil. Because that's all he's trying to do, you and I. We will walk in faith. He's trying to get to him, y'all. He's trying to get to our minds. And when he gets our minds, he's trying to set up a stronghold. See, a stronghold of fear will torment you. A stronghold of worrying will torment you. A stronghold of running from giants will torment you. And that's where the devil, because as long as this stuff here messed up, your heart ain't gonna never get in line with God because it's up here messed up. You be trying to make people talk against God. Atheist, Antichrist. It's up here. It's messed up over. The devil done twisted it's up in here. For them to think that God ain't real, he's something to play with, he don't exist. See the devil tell you all this stuff. And totally mess people's minds and hearts up. But you and I. See, David recognized, he said, these are the armies of the Lord. Read that. He said, these are the armies of the Lord of hosts. Okay, you and I are a member of the armies of the Lord. Armies are established to prepare to fight. Because just like the Philistines, we are up against a warfare of the spot of spiritual wickedness in high places, principalities. We got to come over get this stuff. And he ain't gonna do a little good if you just set the battle in a rain if you ain't gonna go down in the valley, walking on the face, stepping out on the face of God, ready to let whoever, whether it be Goliath, whether it be an imp, whether it be a demon, whatever it be, ready to stand up against and know that you will be delivered by God to face whatever you got to face. No need to fear no giants. He said, fear him who can destroy the body and send your soul. If you're gonna fear anything, fear God. If you're gonna fear anyone, fear God. And now that fear of God to create a faith in you that will keep you from being afraid and fear anything else other than God. Because can't nobody, I don't care how big, Goliath could have been 11 feet tall, 12 feet tall. It wouldn't matter, not to God. And some of us need to understand that. So we can go on. Because that's you got plenty more giants waiting on you. Other words, I'm talking about plenty more situations waiting on you. For the world to see the glory of God in your life. And like David, remind, remember what David said that the word that the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. We thank God for the word of God this morning. Father, we thank you. For thy word is truth, and thy truth maketh us free. And we thank you for making us free with this truth we have received this day. We shall apply it to our lives and keep it. So whenever we face a giant or anything that will come to manipulate and intimidate us, we will stand on the truth of your word that our spirit has feasted upon this day. In Jesus' name. Amen.
