I am totally convinced that out of all the things in this life of which we should be seeking, seeking the Lord, our God, should be at the top of our lists.  Not only should we be seeking him, but we should be seeking to find him, while we can yet find him.  In this message you will come to understand that God is encouraging us to seek him, while he may be found.  Little do many of us realize, that our time to seek him could run out sooner than we know.

With our souls on the line, we must not allow anything or anybody to hinder us from seeking him, who holds the keys to our eternal life.  This message gets to the core of the truth and directs us in the how and the way of us seeking the Lord, while he may be found.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord. We thank God this morning. Welcome, welcome to uh the Holy City Spirit of Truth Ministries and also to our bearing witness to the Truth Podcast. We're so glad to be with you this morning. So glad you all took out of your time to um fellowship this morning, to hear the word of the Lord on this third Sunday morning. We thank you uh oh wholeheartedly and God bless you for your faithfulness. Let's get into the word of God this morning. Y'all can believe this. When the Lord, when I don't get something, a message from the Lord in my spirit during the week to meditate on, a lot of times I will just gravitate back to some of my archive messages, messages that I've taught over the years, way back. And I did not notice this message this morning that I'm gonna uh have prepared to bring before you. I did not and was not aware that I taught this message 15 years ago. 15 years ago. Now, yeah, I got a lot of messages, even go back full of that. But what what the ironic thing that that amazed me about this particular message, when I looked at it the other day, it said that I taught this message back in May, May the 17th, 2011. And I said, Lord, today is May 17, 2026. I thought that was so ironically. 15 years to today, I did not know I will be speaking uh the same message or teaching on the same subject that I taught 15 years ago. Now I don't know what that means, but it just it just happened that way. Exactly 15 years to the day, I taught the same message on May the 17th back in 2011. So we're gonna get into it because it's got to be something in it. Well, I know it is because the word is in it for us to receive. I want to give you, I want to bring to your attention something that brother Isaiah said uh in the book of Isaiah, chapter 55. Isaiah says this, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Isaiah says this in Isaiah 55, verse 6. He says, Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call ye upon him while he is near. Having a desire to seek God is not a desire that a lot of people truly have, not in this day we're living in. We can have desires for many things, and God would not even be on some of our list of desired things that we so desire in our lives. We wouldn't, we ain't put God on the list. It's a funny thing, though, to me, how that we can have desires for the things we really do not need, yet we never seem to develop a desire for things of which we do need. Not those things important. Well, we have a bunch of foolish desires that don't amount to nothing as far as our life, especially when it comes to seeking the things of God. We don't want to do that, but we we're gonna have to if we want to see his face. And this is what Isaiah, brother Isaiah, was hitting on. And he's giving us a heads up, a warning. We need to be seeking the Lord while he may be found. That's that's the key words in that. I'm gonna get to it in a few minutes. And we also need to call upon him while he is near. In my many years, y'all, in my many years and many days of walking with the Lord, I had no idea, hallelujah, hallelujah, that I would ever come to know and experience the godly grief my heart be feeling, and the spiritual heaviness which weigh up on me in these last and evil days when I see so many people don't want God. That grieves me to see people don't want to be saved, people don't want to live right. That grieves me. Yeah, and I know my grief is the reality of seeing that there are just a few people designed to seek for the Lord in this world which we live in. And I know the world of God teaches that. He said, Ain't but a few gonna find it. Ain't but a few people gonna want to go to heaven, ain't nobody people ain't but a few people gonna want to go through what they need to go through in order to get to heaven. And it would seem as though the drifting that a lot of people are doing, that drifting away from seeking him, is getting greater. That distance is getting greater as he draws nearer to his return. It seems like we know Jesus on the way back, we know it's soon to come. And instead of a lot of people trying to get closer to God, it will seem like we're trying to get far from him, drifting, like we don't even care, like we know that we don't realize what's coming. I know that this heaviness that I feel, and a lot of God's people feel the grief that's that's resting on me is caused by a spiritual decline of people of this world not wanting to know or even having a desire to seek God or to find him. Ain't studying God. During these times, this world needs him the most and don't even realize my utmost, I mean my utmost desire is that more people will come to know the Lord our God, hallelujah, and begin to seek him while he can yet be found. I also know that behind this wicked spirit, which has caused so many of the inhabitants of mankind to lack any true interest and wanting to seek God, I know what's behind is the devil, comes from the deception and the trickery of the enemy. Our seeking the Lord while he may be found is so very crucial and so very vital in our spiritual existence in these end of days. So much so that if we have not sought him and found him within this time frame, we run a spiritual risk of never ever finding him in the designated lifetime he has given us. Some of us are gonna go their whole life and never found God. See, you don't find God because you pick up your Bible and read. That ain't finding God. That's reading God's word. You don't find God just because you you go to church every Sunday. A lot of people in the church ain't never known God, have never sought him. But we're gonna learn this morning what this means. If we do not seek him, hallelujah, during this time of which this world has left, we will sadly stand no chance of ever finding him. While he is able to be found. This morning's message: a desire to seek the Lord while we can yet find him. There's got to be a desire there. See, the truth is this, look at this truth. The closer we get to seeing the Lord's return, the sinful nature of mankind will abound in more and more levels of wickedness with the works of the flesh. And we see that happening. This world done got so wicked, and it's gonna get more wicked the closer Jesus comes to coming back. This will cause a greater distance to develop between the inhabitants of this world and God. All this sinfulness, all this wickedness is doing, all it's doing, the most damaging thing it's doing is driving people further away from God. And the further we let the enemy and this world ways drive us further away from God, the more and more people stop believing that there is a God, the more and more people start putting their faith in God and begin to put their faith in other things and make other things their God. This will not fare well for those that will allow themselves to be influenced by this. It ain't gonna fare well with you, they ain't gonna go well with you. And turn away from the because when you turn away from God, you turn from everything your hope comes from. It is the enemy who will have this to be so, and it will be we will be the fools behind him if we allow him to let this be so in our lives. He will, in his attempts, while using his strongest evils of manipulation in these last and evil days, the enemy is going to use his strongest, most evilest manipulation and in and keep as much of mankind as he can lacking in the interest of wanting to see and love the Lord. Come on now. Do we not see that this world won't have an interest in God? I'm talking about as a whole. Yeah, you got individuals gonna always have, because God's gonna always have a people. And you're gonna always have people gonna have an interest in God, but the world as a whole has no interest because they have put their interest in other things that ain't got nothing to do with God. And see, this is what's gonna, this is gonna cause that uh-oh effect when we see the clouds coming, that uh-oh reality, because we're gonna realize it's too late. See, just as I Isaiah, listen to me this morning. Just as Isaiah, our brother, urged the people in his day, so I do now this morning unto you in my day. I urge you today, excuse me for that, as a prophet of the Lord, I say unto you, seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he is near. I'm this is what I'm telling you this morning. This is what we're gonna be talking about this morning. We're gonna learn how to seek the Lord, and we're gonna learn how to call upon him and get ourselves in that place we need to be, and understanding what it means to seek the Lord while he may be found. Can we not spiritually discern what the Lord is saying? When he speaks the word, when I see, remember Isaiah, he said this, seek ye the Lord while that word while see that denotes a certain time frame. This time frame is set. Neither you nor I can know the duration or the space of time set, but we do know that we need to be seeking him, and that's all you need to know. And we need to be doing it while. While what? While we got time, while we can yet find him, while we can yet uh uh call upon him. What we also know is this that he says, while, and this should be sufficient enough for you to know that that's a that's an indicator of time. Wow, which tells me that a time will come in which we will not be able to seek him or find him. Yeah, time can run out. Do you not know we're up under the time of grace right now? But sooner or later that's gonna pass away. There's gonna be no more grace. Because Jesus is gonna be coming back. Let me read something. Let me say, let me just give you something that Jesus himself said in the book of Revelation, chapter 3, verse 7. This is what Jesus said. He was talking to the churches, but he told John to write this down. He says, This is verse 7. He said, These things says he that is holy. Come on, himself, Jesus. He that is true. You better hear him. He that has the key of David. This is this part. This is what got me right here. He that openeth and no man shut, and shut it and no man openeth. What I'm talking about? Why read that? Because I'm trying to tell you, when time runs out, while we can yet be seeking and find the Lord, sooner or later, there's gonna come a time we can't seek him. We're not gonna be able to find him because he's gonna be done shut the door. He's gonna be done close the door, he done be done close the time, he's done be done, close the door on that time frame that we could have been seeking him while the door was open. But when he shut it, ain't nobody gonna be it open. Begging and pleading, snotting and crying ain't gonna make him open no door. You remember how the how the them five foolish virgins? I'm gonna get to them in a few minutes, too. How they waited and sat on their cells, and the bridegroom came and then they realized they didn't have no law, all and they had they didn't go seek no oil to put in their land. So they left to go get, but see why they were gone. Now that they want to go seek some oil, when they should have been seeking it before and had it ready. When they come back, the door was closed, and they called unto the bride, go open letter to thee. He said, Now I'll put shut to the door. And when the Lord shut the door, it ain't gonna be no more. Y'all, when we miss, if we was when we miss this, this time frame of seeking him while he may be found, and once that time frame is closed, what door we gonna have left to go through? Do you know what that means? When the door shut, that means you stay outside and stay in what you in. Now there, and there will be no more chance for you to ever even enter in into the kingdom. This is what Jesus said. He that is true, he that is holy, he that had the keys of David, he that openeth and no man shut it, and shuth, and no man openeth. Those that will be wise, you better be wise, sober and vigilant, will strive in haste and seek him as early as possible. You better to obtain the sure foundation which we will be needing for us to stand in these evil days, which are already up on us now, not later. Now it will be it's foolish to kind of keep putting this thing off, y'all. I don't know where we're putting it off for. It's your soul. The morrow is not promised. Why is it taking us so long to come around to ourselves to know that we need to be seeking the Lord? And without him, we are lost. Solomon says this in the book of Proverbs, chapter 8. Proverbs chapter 8, verse 17. This is what the Lord spoke to him. He said, I love them that love me. Come on now. But listen to the last part. And those that seek me early shall find me. You better seek him early. You better seek him early. Some of us already too late. Well, I ain't gonna say too late, but we we late in our seeking. Because the door ain't really been shut yet. But we could we should have been got ourselves more deep in the Lord years ago. That procrastinating spirit, that's a devil spirit. I said it. That's a devil spirit because it will cause you to procrastinate your time with the Lord and you not getting to where you need to be in him. Did you catch what Solomon just said? He is telling us that seeking the Lord will require our having true love for him. He said, I love them that love me. See, that's God talking. God loves those that love him. Yep, he has love for all his creation, but there's a special kind of love between God and a person that loves him back. It's gonna require love. You're not gonna seek God if you don't have no love for him. I might as well have told you that. You're not gonna seek God if you don't have no love. But because just like us, the reason we're seeking more of the world, because we love the world. Now we don't want to tell the truth about that. The reason more people are seeking more in this world because they have a love for something in this world that they give their love to instead of giving their love to God. This, seeking the Lord while he may be found, is going to require us having a true love for God. And it is this true holy love for the Lord within us which will drive us to seek him early. Why early? Early, because the sooner we start our seeking him, the sooner we shall find him. Why early? Early, because while we waste time in procrastination, we leave ourselves vulnerable to the enemy and to sin. And anytime we're leaving ourselves vulnerable to the enemy and to sin, that don't do never cause us to be more and more separated from God. Because sin separates us from God. Early, because we may not be able to find him later, because we don't wait too long. When we think that we are now ready to start seeking him. Some people want to put God off till they get ready doing their thing out there. But I'm gonna tell you, you might have to be out there doing your thing too long and miss out on eternal life. Then I want you to ask yourself, when you're standing in line, get rid of me to ask yourself, was it worth it? God, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. God is not on our timetable, nor our time schedule. We are on heels. Shall we be like unto the five foolish virgins who waited to go seek for the oil that they so desperately needed for their lamps? When they should have been, we're gonna wait around to seek all we need. They had to go around looking for different stoves till they found all. But all that time was wasted when they should have been using the time that they had before the bridacomb came to have the oil that they need. They didn't seek God soon enough. They didn't seek what they needed soon enough, and therefore they carry the title of five foolish virgins. And will we be the will we be foolish alone with them and wait, keep on waiting when it comes to us seeking the Lord and the all we need and our lamps? I pray that we do not be like them. I pray that we get up off our rusty and our dust and get to seeking the Lord. And don't stop seeking him till you find him. Those of you, after hearing this message this morning, and sincerely make a true godly attempt to seek the Lord while he may be found, and while you yet have time, I need you to know this hymn that the hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, that the seeking of the Lord starts with you in sincerity and in truth, submitting yourselves totally to him. I mean totally, people of God, and those that will hear, we must submit ourselves first to God, or else we will not be able to resist the devil or his imps. If we cannot resist the devil, he nor his imps will ever flee from us. If you can't resist the devil because you ain't got the power, he ain't finna flee. Because the Bible says if you resist him, he'll flee from you. But there's another step first before you get to making him flee. If you can't read that scripture right in James 4 and 7, the first thing on the list is you first need to submit yourself to God. Then it said, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. See, there is no resisting the devil. You ain't got the power to resist him. If there has not been a submitting to God first. Hear me what I'm telling you. Come on now. Come on now. Let me get let me get you right. Let me get you right. Let me get you right in your spirits. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And if there is no submitting to God first, if you ain't submitted to, there ain't gonna be no seeking God. And if there is no seeking God, there can be no finding God. You ain't you ain't gonna you ain't gonna find something you ain't seeking, ain't looking for. Hold on. Look at what James said. He says, submit yourself therefore to God. James 4 and 7. Resist the devil. Because see, you can resist now that you don't submit yourself to God, because when you resist yourself to God, you have sought him and you have the power of God on your side. Now you can resist the devil. You can resist his imps, you can resist these false prophets, these false pastors, and he will flee from you. But understand that word, stop being afraid of that word submit. You need to submit because some of us are too stubborn as it is not. That means to give in to. Ain't nothing wrong with giving in to God. That means to surrender. Nothing wrong with surrender to God, that means to yield yourself. Nothing wrong with yielding yourself to God. That means to obey. We need to be obedient to the Lord our God. And submitting totally to him. Or else this ain't gonna work. You ain't gonna seek him. Brother Isaiah also tells us this back in that 50. I was reading Isaiah 55, 6. Let me read verse 7 to you. He says this. See, this is the only way this is gonna work. He said, Listen, listen what he said in Isaiah 55, 7. He said, Let the wicked forsake his way. You're gonna have to give up your way. Let the wicked, consider to you, long as you live in your way, you wicked. As long as you're doing things the way you want to do them, you're wicked in the eyes of God. Let the wicked forsake his way. Because your way wrong. And the unrighteous man his thought. You don't even think right when you're living in your way. When you're living in sin. You have to forsake that. Your even your evil way of thinking. Let the unrighteous man his thought forsake his thought. Let him return to God. Give up yourself, give up your ways, give up your thoughts, and get yourself back to God. Isaiah said, return unto the Lord. Go on back to the Lord when you know you you're supposed to be in the first place. Return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon God. You know what that means? That's why I love reading that scriptures. And that's always be part of my prayer every day. Many of my prayers that I do every day, I always say, Lord, thou art merciful, and thy mercy endures from everlasting to everlasting. God is merciful. If you just show him you want to seek him, if you just show him you're trying to find him, if you just show him you're trying to give up yourself and your ways, if you just show him you're trying to give up your thoughts and what you think and get back to him, he will have mercy upon you. He said, The Lord will have mercy. See, you can rebelieve that because it's in the word. If he says have mercy, he will have mercy. If you step into falling these steps, you need to do for yourself, God is gonna do his part. Trust me on that. He will have mercy on him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. That means he'll forgive you. Yeah, he knows you've been wrong and been doing wrong for a while. But if you get yourself straight and start seeking him, giving up yourself, giving up your ways and return to him, he will abundantly pardon you. Pardon means for guilt. We must submit ourselves entirely to God, not the God of this world, but to God, not to the governments of this world, but to God, not to people and places and other foolishness, but God. And we must totally forsake, that means to give up, our ways and forsake our love for this sinful, raggedy world and the things that be in it. We must make the utmost commitment in the seeking of the Lord. Put forth your best effort. And don't just accept your best is good enough. Keep on doing it. Don't be satisfied because you didn't get somewhere. No, keep on pushing. You can go higher. And be sure that we have found him in truth. There must be a resistance and a self-denial of our own human nature and all of our rebellious behaviors and stiff-necked activities against God. We done, y'all come on now. Come on now. We done been against God too much in our lives. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves. Some of the ways we have lived that prove to be against God. Because you ain't done nothing to God. Come on now. Stop being stupid. If you do ugly things to people, don't you know the Bible teaches that just like you done did it to him? Didn't the people in the Bible, when Jesus said, when I was sick, you didn't come see me? When I was hungry didn't see me. They said, Well, we saw you hungry and sick and all that stuff. He said, When you did it to the least of these, you did it unto me. Come on now, I'm gonna give you the book. So many of us have done God wrong in how we just undone other people. Wait a minute, how can Pastor Dick, how can that God consider that uh uh be done to him when we do it to certain people? Because you're doing it against one of God's creation. And what God has created is part of him. And if you did it to them, it's like you're doing it to come on now. Come on, you that parents. Somebody do something to your child, that's like you'll did it to them, eh? They like you'll did it to you, ain't come on now. We think ain't God our father. You do something to some of y'all's children, y'all will take it personal, just like the person did it to you. Oh, so God's supposed to be less than we are? And we being his children, and then you is doing something to some of his other children? He's not supposed to take that personal? The devil is alive. We must have a resistance and a self-denial of our own human nature because it's sinful, and all of our rebellious behaviors and stiff-necked activities that we've done against God. If we're gonna seek him while he may be found, if we're gonna call upon him while we're near, we better stop doing some of the stuff we're doing. Or our seeking is gonna be in vain, and our finding we're gonna be going the wrong direction. We must submit our understanding. Them our thoughts. Don't we crazy and some of us we got thrown off thought. I don't mean no harm, y'all. I don't mean no harm. I'm just gonna get to your row this morning. We must submit our understanding to the truth of God and acknowledge that He knows all things. Come on now, He knows, He knows everything. We must take on this godly attitude, and I hope we do. I'm praying that you take we all take on this godly attitude and start saying within ourselves that He knows better than I. You got to shroud yourself with this knowledge by yourself. Get you out the way and say, Lord, he knows better than I. Even when it comes to my own self, he knows better than I. That's why I love the way, I love uh the way Paul talked to the Lord. He says one day, he said, He said, by the grace of God, I am what I am. It's because of God. He knows better than I do. He knows what kind of life I suppose we live, he knows the direction I suppose we going. He knows the life I suppose we living. We must wholeheartedly submit our sinful wills to the holy will of God, to the will of his precepts, and to the will of his provisions, and to his providence. Those of you who think that you can handle it, say I'm gonna take you a little deeper now. I'll make sound, I'll get I'm gonna do the let's get to meet up. Those of you who think you can handle it, let me take you deeper in spiritual knowledge and understanding with the word. Before I conclude this message, this David was a man after God's own heart. But David also tapped into seeking the Lord while he may be found. And he said something one day in the in Psalms 53. Psalms 53, he says this he said, God looked down from heaven upon the children of men. See, God looking down on us right now, y'all. I'm telling you, He is. God, listen to that verse 2. He said, God looked down from heaven upon the children of men. What was God looking for? To see if there were any that did understand. Don't even understand what they was how they folks be living. To see if there were any that didn't understand and see if that they did seek God. Is anybody down there seeking me? He looking down on him from heaven. He seek and can see all the way to earth on the children of man. That's us, y'all. To see if we have the understanding we need to have that we need to be seeking him. And that and he tried to say, if anybody's down there seeking God, God has looked down from heaven, hallelujah, and knoweth and has seen all those that are seeking him, and he has looked down from heaven and knoweth and has seen all those that are not seeking. God knows that many of the children of men do not understand the dilemma that their lives are in as a result of them not seeking him. Anything which requires us getting closer to God and seeking him, our flesh, this world, and the enemy and our own ungodly minds are going to put up a savage fight against us trying to get close to God and our Savior. You can look forward to that. When you try to get close to God, that that sinful spirit that's been in your nature all this time, it's gonna fight against it because you're gonna make it uncomfortable by thinking about God and wanting to live for God, and it ain't it ain't gonna it ain't having it. But see, this is where this savage fight is gonna begin between your flesh and the spirit. Some of the evil spirits that are in people, which have dwelled within them for many decades, will rise up in them. You're gonna see that spirit try to rise up in you and take on a personality of being evilly possessed and take on an unhidden, demonic behavior against you. See, most devils than a lot of people try to stay hid because they don't want you to see the devil that's in them. And they don't want you to see the devil in the person that they're in. But in these last days, when we get closer to uh Jesus' return, they're gonna come out of their hiding and you're gonna be able to see the devil on people. I I see that and I don't know a lot of people. I can see the devil in them, but they're gonna take on a spirit of being possessed and take on an unhidden demonic behavior against you trying to give it. See, you because the devil don't want you to give it an eviction notice. See, when you're trying to get seek the Lord and to call him white kneel and give up and forsake your ways, that spirit in you gonna take it personal as you're trying to evict him and put them out, and that's exactly what you're trying to do. But I'm here to tell you, it ain't gonna like it. But if you, like I just told you, James said, if you submit yourself to God first, you get the power and the and and believe that word, he'll flee from you, he got to go. Whether he likes it or not, he'll have to flee and come out of you. But they're gonna watch them behaviors against you, trying to give it, you trying to give an eviction over just so it ain't gonna want you to try to change and live your life to seek God. It's gonna try to hold on and keep you. No, come on. You know the good times we have it, you know you like doing this, you know you like doing that, and he putting me out, tell the devil he'll lie, and let him know he got the flea from you. This feeling of spiritual resistance of which you will feel rising up will come over you because the flesh does not want to be bound by what is right in the sight of God. Flesh don't want to do right, ain't gonna never want to do right. Let me give you something else. David wrote Psalms 10, verse 4. He said, The wicked through pride of his countenance will not seek after God. Better come off that pride, it's gonna keep you from seeking God. The wicked through pride of his countenance will not seek after God. God is not in all his thoughts. Let me know that. Who give you that? Psalms 119, verse 155. David says this salvation is far from the wicked, far from their own. For they seek not thy statue. They ain't trying to seek the Lord, but see, you got to resist that spirit come over you trying to keep you in sin. You got to resist that spirit trying to come over you, trying to keep you from getting to God. We're gonna mess around and let our own flesh, we're gonna mess around with the owner of the devil, keep us from our eternity with the Lord. And it ain't worth y'all. Those that are already comfortable in wickedness and sinful living will not even let themselves dare to even think in their thoughts and minds of changing, even for their own soul's sake. Them that got themselves so rooted in sin and that this is the only kind of life they want to live. Pray for them. Because the devil got their minds bound and their hearts bound. This is why this will be such a savage and spiritually brutal fight of the spirit and the flesh. And these two will be in constant contrariness towards each other each and every day and each and every night. Come on now. It's time to wake up. Some of these fights you will win through the strength of God, and some of these fights you will lose as you are developing spiritually. You get growing. You go win them all at first. But keep in mind now, come on, let me give some, let me give you some hope. Keep in mind though, and don't let the devil burden you with this gift trip. Keep in mind that losing a fight here and there does not mean that you have lost the battle. The battle ain't over. You just lost a couple of rounds, but it ain't over. You're gonna keep on fighting. Keep seeking the Lord. This is my encouragement to you. Keep seeking the Lord. Get up, keep seeking the Lord. Repent, keep seeking the Lord. Keep your faith and keep depending on his strength because his strength is made perfect in our weakness. There must not be an ungodly distraction allowed to enter into your minds. We must stay focused and not have spirits of ungodly stumbling and our seeking of the Lord. Okay, keep stumbling now. Come on now, it's time to straighten up. Straighten yourself up. You got to keep your focus because the devil is gonna try to keep you distracted and all focused, but you got to resist. I remember growing up, around the old Saints called they used to, you they just be all of a sudden, nobody wouldn't be talking to them, but they just holler and say, lose him. Well, how do you get thee behind me, Satan? You see, the devil be talking to their minds. Just like now, stuff going on in our mind right now, can't nobody ever see, but you see. And you knew no one the devil brings on your mind, you know how to lose him. Get thee behind me. Ain't that what Jesus said? Get thee behind me, Satan. Just like he tried to try Jesus, he's gonna try and try us, but you can see you can resist him. Keeping in mind the time frame. Don't never let yourself forget the time frame. Like you ain't got all the time in the world. Keep in mind the words, which Isaiah said, while he may be found. Now is the time to try to seek him while he may be found. And it's not hard to seek God. You just got to armor down and give up yourself and get in this book and get the feeding and searching his word, and you will find him. As a servant of God, listen to me. I have been called to tell God's people and those that will hear nothing but the truth of God's word and of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is my committed stance and my love for the Lord my God. I'm gonna keep doing this because I love Him and I love God's people, and I love the truth out of all things which will be required for us. Listen to me on this one. And I was seeking the Lord while he may be found. I will tell you the holy secret, which may be somewhat of a mystery for some to understand. But I'm gonna give you a holy secret and a holy mystery. The key secret in becoming victorious in the seeking of the Lord and finding him, hallelujah, will be revealed unto those who tap into true holy love for the Lord our God in their hearts. You got it. When you get a love for God down in your heart, like it's supposed to be, you will tap into the secrets of becoming victorious in your seeking. This holy love of which some will tap into will take them to a level of love which a person can only know through seeking God. This love does not exist in this earth realm, it comes from the spiritual realm of God. This love has the power to draw you closer and closer to God. And his love for you will draw him closer and closer to you in return. Do you yet not see that it is the love we have we can have for God that causes us to seek him while he may be found? That's love making us do that. Allow me to read something. Let's just allow me. Let me read something from the book of Psalms. Let me go back to some stuff David said. I like stuff he said. David was a seeker of the Lord, and he sought the Lord while he was yet able to be found. This is what he said. This is what he said in Psalms 27, verse 4. Hallelujah. And I need y'all to get this from the spiritual. Feel this in your spirit. Psalms 27, 4. This is what David said. He was a king. He ain't kidding about all that. This is what he said. He said one thing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. One thing have I desired that I will seek after. Amen. One thing I'm trying to seek after. Because this is what he's seeking, it's going to include everything else. It just is one thing that I desire, not of the world, not of man, but of God. I desire this of the Lord. And that's the thing I will seek after. This is what he said. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. Now, a lot of people don't understand what David was talking about. He was talking about in this life and in the life to come. That means after life after he leaves him. All the days of my life. Well, David, you know why I want to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life? He said, so that I may behold the beauty of the Lord. Come on now. Some of us have been so deceived by the enemy and by what we see in this world, we don't realize there is a beauty of the Lord which we have never seen. But if we get in him and seek him and dwell in his house, that means dwell wherever he is. We will behold such beauty. This will be the beauty of the Lord. He said that to behold means to look, to see, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. Just to just take up time in his temple. That means in his presence. David, why do you want to go through all this? He tells you in verse 5. He said, Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. He said, For in time of trouble, come on now. Because I know trouble comes. I know there's gonna be some trouble down here on this earth. But when that trouble comes, when trouble finds me, guess where he's gonna find me at? He said, For in time of trouble, he meaning God shall hide me in his provision. Because see, that's who I'm seeking after. And that's in other words, David is really saying he sought the Lord, but he done found him. Because he's not here in the house of the Lord. He's dwelling in his temple. And even though in times of trouble, I may be still here on this earth, but God can still hide me in his provision, in his pavilion, in the secret of his tabernacle. See, when God hide, come on now, and God got you hid in him, who can find you? Come on, read the story about Enoch. They look for Enoch, the Bible said they couldn't find him. Because God they said, the Bible said, God took him and had him hid. And when God got you hid, ain't nobody they stopped trying. Because they ain't gonna find you, they're not gonna find you. He said, For in time of trouble, he shall hide me in the pavilion. Why he hiding me in pavilion? Because he hides me from the trouble. Hallelujah. Come on now. He hid me from the trouble. He hides me from the stuff I got to deal with. That wanna disrupt my peace with him, that wanna disrupt my relationship with him, that wanna disrupt my seeking him and trying to find him from dwelling in his house. His tabernacle. He's gonna hide me from all that. Because I'm here in his provision, in the secret of his tabernacle, shall he hide me. Look for me, I'm here with God. He shall set me up upon a rock. Come on now. How many of y'all know who that rock is? You better know who that rock is. You better know who the rock is. Because wherever God got you here at in him, the father and the son is together. Come on now. Come on now. One thing I have desired of the Lord. See, while we going about trying to seek all this other stuff, won't God the big house, won't God give us a new car and all that. You better be seeking what's most important to dwell in his house. Because that house you're trying to get is going to crumble. It's going down to the ground. But his house, the Lord's house, that's a place you can stay all the days of your life. And in that place of his house, you can behold and see his beauty and take part in it. Because you sought him while he may be found. You called upon him while it was near, and you inquired in his temple. So when the time of trouble comes, see what's going to be the time of trouble for a lot of people, and when they see Jesus coming back, and that's gonna be so that's gonna be big trouble because you ain't gonna be done sought the Lord, and you ain't gonna be done found him, and that's gonna be a day of trouble. But for those who sought him, don't you not know when that day comes, y'all need to read your Bible. That's not those who are ready, that stuff not gonna be affecting them. What's going on in the world? Because you redeemed your time, you sought the Lord early and you found him. Now, when the trouble coming, when Jesus returned, you're gonna be hid in the pavilion. I was reading, I've been reading, I've been reading in the Pentateuch the five, the five books that uh Moses wrote. I've been that's what I've been doing, my study time here lately. And and I've come across the story, uh, I mean, uh, I've got well, I've gone through the Pentateuch, I'm already in Joshua, now though. But when I was reading the in the Pentateuch, especially in Exodus, when God had called Moses to uh deliver his people out of Egypt. When you ever read that story, read this. When he got sent those ten plagues upon Egypt, listen at this now. Everywhere else was having trouble, but down there in the in the place where God's people called Goshen, Goshen was still enjoying the goodness of the Lord because they were God's people. Everything was happening to Egypt, but they weren't, they weren't serving the Lord. When the plagues, when the frogs came, when the grasshoppers and locals came, when the lights came, when the darkness came, none of Goshen, where the people of Turim were dwelling, none of that ever affected them. You see where I'm going with this? When you and I seek the Lord while he may be found, and in time of trouble, and we're hiding his provision, and we're in the secret of his tabernacle, where he is hiding us from what is to come, he shall set up us up upon his rock, which is Jesus. Because we chose to seek the Lord while he may be found, or while we can find him, and we called upon him while he was near. Seek the Lord, my brothers and sisters. Seek it while it may be found. The time is short and the clock is ticking, and we don't have no more time to waste nor to procrastinate. And I'll leave you with that. That one thing that David saw is also that one thing that we should be desiring, and that is what we should be seeking out in this day, this evil day that we live in. And we will, if you seek him, you shall find him. Because he wants you to find it. And when you find him, never let him go, but seek him the more that you may have more of him in your life. God bless you. God bless you.
