As you know, uh Tuesday night, the last time we were together for Bible study, we began talking about learning how to die daily. And this is something uh you can be reluctant about if you choose to. You can you can try to avoid it if you want to, but I'm here to tell you we must die. And when I'm talking we, I'm talking about the spiritual part of us that is in spiritual sin. We need to understand how the Bible is talking, how the Bible is communicating with us. When it's talking about dying, this has nothing to do at this point, and in this text has nothing to do with natural death.

Understand that. Because, see, let me let me help us understand something about ourselves.

We are more than just a natural man or a natural human being or a natural woman. We are more than that, we are more than our natural side, which is seen by all, but there's also a part of us that's also alive and have just as many members as our natural man does. What I'm talking about, we have natural legs, but we also have spiritual legs too. See when the Bible says, Have you done all to stand? It was not even talking about no natural legs. We're talking about the spiritual egg. We have natural eyes, but we also have spiritual eyes, which most of our spiritual eyes are blind, but we still have them. But they do come open as we uh give our lives to God, he gives us a spiritual eye. We have a natural heart, pumps blood, but we also have a spiritual heart, too, is what the Bible we're talking about, and it's that area of our living that the word of God is addressing today. The word of God, though, don't use words like when it says the old man, that's talking about the fleshman. That old way, the it's talking about not only the flesh, let me let me take my time, but it's also talking about that that old spiritual nature also that comes with us. A lot of people don't understand that why they act the way they do, it's because of the kind of spirit you got. A lot of people don't understand why they got certain attitudes and and certain characteristics about themselves, it's because that's what's in you spiritually. But the Bible is gonna use the old man, and that's what it's gonna be talking about, but it's also gonna be saying, put on the new man. That's when your spirit has been changed, that's when you have been transformed, and it's that and Christ and the Spirit of God can only and will only operate when you have become that new man. Uh, the Bible also talks about new creature, that's what it's talking about. When your life has been transformed, and you have become something else as a result of Christ coming into your life. Now, in order for Christ to uh maintain a resident in your life, there's certain things about you not only has to change, but there's certain things about us, you and I, that has to die. The word of God, as we were talking on Tuesday night, the word of God also put it in the vernacular of this. Not only does it have to die, but it says it's got to be crucified, it's got to be put on the cross. Because there's some there's certain things about our spiritual man, the old man, have been wicked things, very corrupt things, and it's those things you just can't you just can't kill them uh and walk away. No, there are certain things in our life has to be crucified, which is a powerful capital punishment, capital punishment in the form of a very hard death that has to take place. Now, some things in our life we got over pretty quick. They didn't really have what they were wrong and they were sin, but they didn't really have a real strong hope or root in our lives. Now, but there have been other things. Oh, we have had to fight and struggle to get those things out of our lives. They didn't want to go away, they didn't want to stop, and they didn't want to die. And it's those things when you give them to the cross, you show nothing but a crucified and put them to death, which is what the Bible is going to tell us, it was telling us on Tuesday, but also gonna tell us some more about uh the subject of learning how to die daily, and then and and understand when the word what what the word is saying also when it's saying die daily. Look between the lines and read between the lines, understand between the lines. What it's telling us is that a lot of things ain't gonna die overnight. Hear me, hear me. A lot of things gonna die. Then they can be in a dying mode and they can be on their way to death, but they are a lot of things ain't gonna die overnight. That's why Paul and Christ is letting us know that some things you're gonna have to die. Parts of you, the more and more of you concerning that particular area in life, each day you got to die to some more of it to get it all out. I remember as a little boy. I always got into stuff. Well, I don't know, sometimes you I mean after playing with stuff, playing with wood and sticks and stuff. We always told the club, you know. Anyway, point is I'm making. Sometimes a splinter will get in my finger. And I go hollering running the bottom. I was a little boy then. And and she would take a tweezer and get the picking around in there. She'll you know she'll take track to you, but if it's embedded and not good, that'll split. Something that looking show hurt, but anyway. Well, I won't get off a off track here. She would have to keep picking till she got a little out the first time, fill around the rope. There'll be some older wood in there, a little splinter. She had to keep filling around until she got it all out. Well, sometimes a little splinter can be so little, but you can still feel it in there. It's still some more in there. And all I'm trying to say about our lives, we got some of these things in our live sins, it done left a splinter. And the Lord gonna have to keep filling around, taking us through the word, and taking us through things till we get it all out. It's still a special wood in there, still smoke, and you can tell it's good when it's all gone. You can maybe still be bleeding, but but you don't you don't feel the pain no more because that's a sign that you don't got all of it out of there. A foreign object has entered into your skin, under your skin, and it has come out. And sin being the type of thing that it is, until it's all it ain't gonna do you no good unless it's all gone. A little sin removed don't do you no good. You gotta get it all out. You can just put out of there, and that's why I'm making a point of to die continuously to die to sin daily. So you can die, you're gonna die for some of that stuff today, because these days we need to be dying today, because we're done listening alone. But tomorrow you're gonna have to keep on dying that thing until it's all gone, and that's the way a whole lot of things in our lives are going to be, until it's all gone. You just can't say, See, I I when I come out the world, when the Lord come got me and scared me to death, got the Lord got talking about axes and everything else, laid at the root of the tree. I struck out walking out and found a chair. I did, yo did. Because God, you want God to hit you with an axe, one of his axes. So I struck out of it. But anyway, my point is this it was a whole lot of sins I was doing before the Lord come got me. And I'm here to tell you, some of those things I quit overnight. Cold turkey, never went back to them till this day. I ain't never picked up another cigarette, never dropped another bill, never never pulled me another shot of crown royal, ain't never done nothing no more. But now there was other things that didn't come out all at one time. Because certain sins will embed themselves into your spirit, into your life. See, I didn't stop, I stopped cursing, but the cussing didn't leave overnight because my mouth was so used to cussing and saying ugly words, I would have to find myself catching myself, trying to stop. But the more I trusted God, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. The more I put my faith in the Lord, I know I'm gonna get over this thing. If I just keep hitting myself in the mouth. You know, I did that. I popped myself. Oh, Ricky, don't say that. And I didn't realize it months later, I didn't realize I had stopped cussing until I realized it just dawned on me. You know, you ain't said a cuss word in a long time. When you have a mind to die to things, God will help you and give you what you need to die to whatever that thing is. But you got to trust it, and you got to want to die. See, some of us ain't die to certain things because we ain't never really truly in our hearts and spirit, we ain't really never wanted to die to that thing. What I'm saying, we ain't never really want to stop. Because a lot of sins that we have done, it brought pleasure. And we like to do it, and then we develop a liking for that thing. And for somebody to tell me I got to stop doing something that I like, that can be hard for some people to stop doing because they still like it. What I'm trying to tell you is we still some of us have had a love for certain sin. And when you have a love for certain things, you don't want to give up what you love. You say what you want to say, and they go naturally and spiritually. If you loved it, it's gonna be hard for you to stop it until you develop a stronger love for something else than you have for the thing you in love with right now. What I'm talking about until you develop a stronger love for Jesus more than you have for the thing you're trying to hold on to. You know the Bible tells us these last day people are gonna be lovers of pleasure. Reach about be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, and that's why a lot of us can't die to say, because we still got a love for pleasure, love for things that our flesh enjoys. And until we die to those things, don't look for Christ to become alive in you. Souls have been saved for years, but Christ still has never truly become alive in our lives. You still don't see Christ living through that person, oh you know, and they put on this this act, they put on this show of deception to make people think that Christ is living through them. But you can't fake, you can't fake Jesus. Because Jesus is the only one that can be Jesus. You can't fake him, you can't pretend to have the Holy Ghost. You you can't you can't you can fool people to make them think. You know what the Bible says. Slate them. Listen what the book says has transformed himself into an angel of light. In other words, he repent that he'll come to us pretending that oh that he comes from God. But then this is the part that we need to see and hold on to is he says no big myth, no marvel not, it ain't no big mystery that his workers or his imps can also transform themselves into angels of light. In other words, if the devil can pretend and fool people, those who got the devil in them can can pretend and fool people. People who don't have the Holy Ghost and don't have the spirit of discernment, don't have God in life, can be deceived very easily. Because we have no knowledge of who God is, nor his ways. If you know God and his ways, if somebody acting godly, you pick up on it right away. And know that that's not God. Oh, you ain't gotta go tell them what you know. You ain't gotta tell them what the spirit of you, but you know. But for those of us, you and I, those of us who are sincere and serious about dying daily, dying to the flesh, dying to those ugly things in our old man's spirit, we are those that are striving to become more like Christ. And we have accepted the fact that we're gonna have to die. And this dying requires a learning how to die. You just can't die with you, you say with your mind I'm dead, uh-uh. You have to learn how to do this, how to how to how to die like this.

Paul uh stressed this as we talked about on last Tuesday. He said, I die daily. I protest that you're rejoicing, which is in Christ Jesus. He said, I die daily. This is what I'm gonna rejoice about. And if you're gonna rejoice with me, rejoice that I'll let them die daily. See, so many people won't come to church and testify. And want folks to rejoice with them because they don't got a car, they don't got some uh house, they don't got they don't got some new clothes. They won't worry about see their new shoes. I even usually, if you're waiting on me to rejoice with you on there. Well, I don't want I don't want to hurt nobody's feeling. But let me tell you like this I'd rather rejoice with you that you're telling me that you are dying daily to sin. Hallelujah. That you are dying daily to that corrupt man, those corrupt ways you got. I'd rather you give up and testify and say, I done died to being a mean person, being angry all the time. I'd rather hear you say, I done died, you never testify that I done died to act being a two-faced person, acting funny with folk, trying to use people. Tell me you don't die today, give up and get that kind of testimony. That's what we need to be rejoicing with each other about. See, when you could never say things like that, that means you're getting closer and closer to Jesus and letting those old things go. Less and less like the world, less and less like the flesh, but becoming more and more like Jesus. And your testimony will become, Lord, I have died daily, and move those things out of my life. Now I'm ready to live unto you. Let's get some more words. Let's get some more word. Jesus stressed that we should take up our cross daily. Excuse me. Daily, every day. Get up with the mind, Lord. I thank you for what you did for me yesterday, but I still think I got a few more little spots and specks and splinters in my life. So I want to die some more today. Get up tomorrow, so Lord, I want to die some more today. Help me to die some more today. Ask the God, ask the Holy Ghost to help you to die. I know that sounds like crazy talk, help help me to die. Yeah, tell the whole ghost that he knows what you're talking about. Because the Holy Ghost is spiritual. Holy Ghost helped me to die to that old spiritual man. Help me to die to it and take it off. So I can hurry up and get Jesus in my life, so I get Jesus in my temple. Die daily. The word of God also stressed us that Jesus He blotted out that riding of wildness against us. The Bible said he took it out the way. And he took it out the way. And see, Jesus took it out the way and killed it. If you read that Bible, let's class 2 and 14. He took it out the way and killed it. How did he kill it? By nailing it to his cross. The Bible said, His cross. He nailed it to us. Took it out of our way. And you and I are gonna have to take some things out the way if we want to get closer to God. Ain't no other way around. You got to take it out, it's got to be taken out the way, and you got to kill it. Now, understand so we know I'm stressing this so hard is because if you don't hurry up, if you and I don't worry up and take certain things out of the way out of our lives and then to the cross and kill it, then me, it's gonna eventually kill you. And I'm talking spiritually now because if we keep those things in our lives, we are headed for another spiritual death that you ain't gonna want. Because it's gonna be eternal. If you don't live up and take it out the way and kill it, it's gonna kill you. It's gonna kill your life, it's gonna kill your relationship with God, it's gonna kill your relationship with Christ. Because you have failed and refused to nail it to the cross, take it out the way, kill it, nail it to the cross. Your cross. Because you left some of it alive. Come on now. Let me say I bought him in. Trying to get to his word. But anyway, y'all remember the story about when Samuel was a judge of Israel, one of the judges. I think he was the last judge, but he was, I think it was the first prophet. But anyway, he had to deal with King Saul. Make a long story short. He had some instruction. God had given Samuel some instruction to tell King Saul what to do. And in those instructions at that time, was it had to do with the Amalekites and the king of the Amalachites. The Lord spoke to Samuel for him to tell Saul, kill everything. Women, children, men, girls, boys, kill the cows, kill the goats, kill the sheep, kill the chickens, kill everything. I don't have time to go through all that, but God was so fierce about the Malachi because of what they had did. Where do you got to go back and read? When the children of Israel were at the wanted to have the cross before they crossed the uh the Red Sea. Something about the Malachites was against them, and God said he spoke in that one day he was gonna take care of he's gonna deal with them for what they had done. But you gotta go back and read all that. But here now that they got a king and a prophet, now God's ready to pay, send the punishment down to the Malachi because of what they did against the children of Israel. Anyway, the instruction was kill everything, everything had to go, everything had to die. Every woman and man, every boy and girl, goat, pig, chicken, cow, horse, all that had to die. And other than the Bible utterly destroyed him. That was the instruction. Okay, King Saul got the arms together. They went down there, they defeated the Valachi, but King Saul decided he wanted to hold on. He said, listen, you go back and read this story. It's in Kings. He wanted to keep the best stuff for himself. Ooh, I don't need killing all these cows, some good cows. They need to kill these cows. We can get somebody. I mean killing these sheep. Ooh, and we sure don't got to hold on to these chickens. But see, God said give it everything. And that's how someone doing our lives. We wanna, we claim to want to do right. We claim to want to live holy. But there's certain things we ain't quite ready to let go. And we try to hold on to, oh, we'll act like we done let it go, but we still got us, we still tethered in a connection with it. Just in case. I might want to go back to that. Just in case. But with the word of God, you just got you got to all of it got to be utterly destroyed. All of it got to utterly die David. And I ain't got time to go into it, but God punished King Saul for what he had did. And some of you come down there and and expecting to find the instructions that God had given him to give King Saul, he came back expecting to find everything had been done according to what thus says the Lord. So he came to King Saul and said, I thought uh I told you you had to kill everybody. He said I did. Read the Bible. He said he said I did. In his mind, he thinks he done done what he's supposed to do. But see, if listen, when it comes to the word of God, you just can't do part the parts you want to do. You just can't live the parts you want to live. You gotta live it all. You gotta do it all and not convince yourself that you're doing right just because you're doing some of it. My old mentor always said, almost right is wrong. You can't almost do all the right and still wrong you end up uh and say you're right. Uh uh ain't no such thing as almost right. Either you're right or you wrong. And King Saul is wrong, and you and I are just as wrong if we think we're living the whole life, but we're still doing things unholy. But we done do see you can some I've known this. People can keep telling themselves something over and over again till they finally done convince themselves of the very lie that they know that was a lie when they first started sin. But now they done convinced themselves, and to convince yourself of wrong is to deceive yourself in the eyes of God, and that's bad. People good at lie to other, but when you condemn the lie to yourself and you done convince your lie yourself that that lie is the truth, you don't mess yourself up. How are you gonna believe the lie you started when you know there was a lie because you don't want to start the lie? Now you not only got other folk believe the lie, but now you don't start believing the lie yourself. Now that's crazy. But the Bible speaks of that. He said, Be not deceived and tell us, do not deceive yourself. Read the Bible, it tell us not to deceive our own self. He said, I told you to destroy everything. He said I did, but there the king of the Malachi standing up there, he ain't dead. Then King uh said, But what is this lowering of the oxen and the bleeding of the sheep? Reach about. I hear the even sheep saying bad, I hear these cows moving. I ain't supposed to be hearing none of that. I ain't supposed to be standing looking at the king of the Malachi and he ain't dead. Samuel got hot, he got mad. Reach about he took a sword right there in front of everybody, and the Bible said he chopped up that king of the Malachi into pieces. Just stood there and chopped him up. Because God said to kill him. Then he started dealing with King Saul, but I ain't got time. Go read that in your study time. It's in Kings. To learn how to die daily, to learn how to die daily. We're gonna have to accept this fact. One thing, one of the fact, one of these facts we're gonna have to accept is that what's ever in us that has nothing to do with God or a godly living, it's got to go and it's got to come out. See y'all got some stuff, darling. It's got to come up out you. I said, it's got to come out of you. Uh he's speaking to the disciples, and these folks is talking about the disciples, he ain't watching hands. Long story short. Jesus ain't what go in you that defiles you, it's what's coming out of us. It's just stuff that's coming out of us that's defiling our lives and keeping us from dying daily. Ugly ways come out of y'all. Ugh communication is got to come out. You got the woman stop being ugly. Let me say it like this. You got the woman stop being sinful, wicked, being corrupt, being a user, a tail bearer, a business about you got the woman to stop doing those things. You got to want them to come out of you, but you ain't gonna want to come out of the see, it's not it's not until we do like that prodigal son that I even gonna let, but it's important that you read it. The Bible gonna say he came to himself. You can also say it like this when he saw his self, and some of us have not seen ourselves, and I don't know we have not come to ourselves. When you come to yourself, you're gonna see it's some and you're gonna tell the truth about yourself. There's some things in my life, Lord. I see it's there's some things about my life I don't like. Hallelujah. There's some things in my life I I don't like what I'm doing. I don't like how I'm acting, I don't like how I'm talking, I don't like how you feel. Only when you see yourself is you gonna enter in the in the light and the sight that God wants you to see yourself. Only then will you realize something got the change of me and I can't keep living like this because I'm on my way to heaven. If I keep doing this thing and and being in denial, someone's in denial by ourselves, so we don't want to tell the truth by ourselves. If I don't get this stuff out of me, I'm gonna be lost. See, I'm if we you and I may be in denial, and you and I may be deceiving ourselves, but you can't deceive God. God ain't gonna be in no self-denial about what he what he done said are the requirements for coming to my kingdom, which brings us back. That means certain things got to die. You got to leave certain things alone, and they got to come out. Let me read something to get some word in here. Let me give y'all some books. Paul went down to the church in Ephesus and began to teach in one of the epistles that he wrote uh to the church in Ephesus. He says, If so be, if so be, that you have heard him. If so be, you heard Jesus. And all of us right now, see, if we if you only stand spiritually, you might not have seen Jesus, but you done heard Jesus. All of us done heard Jesus. I know what I'm talking about. Because if you the word of God we read now right now, that's Jesus. Do I need to take y'all to the book? The Bible said in the beginning was the word, and the word was God talking about Jesus. And the word was made flesh, they're talking about Jesus. We read Jesus right now, which means we hearing him speak right now. Paul might have wrote the epistle, but it's this is Jesus' word, because Jesus is the word of God. You hear Jesus right now. If so be that you have heard him, yes, Lord, we done heard you. We're hearing you, Jesus. We're hearing you this morning, have heard him and have been taught by him. Because the word of God teaches us what we need to know. As the truth is in Jesus. I told you we're talking about Jesus. All this is Jesus. What we hear and what we have been taught by the word can also be said that we have heard Jesus and have been taught by him spiritually. But he's gonna teach us some more if you let him. He finna teach us how to die. Jesus wasn't just on the cross dying for our sins. There was something else he was doing too that a lot of people skim over and don't see because they ain't got no spiritual eye. See, when you buy, you it's a whole lot you don't see that you need to see. Another thing we need to see about the cross is not only was Jesus dying for our sin, but he was also showing us how we were gonna have to die. But spiritually, he was showing us how to die. Him hanging on the cross, he was showing us how we were gonna have to hang our sins and transgressions on the cross. When we come into him spiritually, listen at the word. Verse 22, he said, that ye put off. Now that word ye means also you, and uh vernacular in English speaking again. He said that ye, this something you got to do, this something I got to do. Always pay attention to when the Bible says what you got to do. Because a lot of people say another thing that they see a lot of people that they say Jesus is supposed to do it all. Jesus done did it all, and that's true as far as what he was supposed to do, he has done everything he is supposed to do and has was to do, but there's certain things now because of what he has done, you and I got something we must do, and that's what the word of God comes and teaches you. That ye, it's something you got to do, that ye put off concerning the formal conversation, the old man. Now I got to really break this down because a lot of people see that word conversation, and we wrongly attach to it the definition that we use conversation when we say conversation today. We use conversation today, that means you talking, gathering together, you communicating, having a conversation with somebody. But in the Greek, even though it's spelt the same, that word conversation does not mean talking at all. This word in the Greek means conversation means how you live, your lifestyle. So when you read this in the book of Ephesus and you understand it from the Greek definition, it's telling you to put off concerning the form of ways you used to live in the old man. That's what it's talking about when it says conversation. And I have to I have to tell you that so you can get the full understanding and and that it may be clear to you and what the Bible is saying. That ye put off, you got to put it off. You cannot put on something else until you first take off what you got on. You ain't gonna put on the new man if you ain't took off the old man. And see what a lot of people try to do is they try to wear part of their life, they're trying to be covered wearing some of the old man's clothes, but also trying to put on the new man clothes, and you can't wear old and new. Anybody try to put on something old and new together? When you got a new outfit, you don't put on no old pants with no new shirt. Spiritually, I'm talking. Even in that text, when it said new bottles, that was referring to those skin. See, back then they mankind had a way of taking the skin from the goats, the sheep, and and sow them into them and making a bag out of it. And when they put new wine into them new bags of new skins that they have made, once the wine started to ferment, it would expand those skin bags that they had made from animal hide. Because the fermentation calls a gas to form, and gas makes air, and if it's gas in there, it's gonna make that thing expand not like a balloon do when you blow up a balloon. And see, the thing about skin, animal skins is once it had expanded to its capacity to hold that ferment fermentating wine in them, it can no longer be used to pour new wine in. Because once they drunk the wine out of that old skin that had already been used, okay, and instead go to reuse it and put new bug putting new wine into it, the bags will bust because you had you pour new wine in a skin that had already been used and stretched. And now you put new wine in it, and this new wine is gonna make its own fermentation and gases, and to expand an animal skin that's already been expanded. Now that new wine in that old bag is gonna bust it because now it's gonna put too much stress on that old bag of that own skin, and it's gonna bust, and your wine is gonna spill out on the ground and leak out the bag, and you're gonna be a lost. So God is not in the business of finna pour his new wine into your old bag that's already been expanded. See, since already expanded our life and to our lives up. God ain't trying to use the lifestyle you come out of for his glory. No, God's gonna put his spirit into something different, something new. You got the change. That's why I said, get rid of that old bag or that old man. Put off. Because you ain't gonna be able to live for God doing stuff that the old man did. That's why put off the former comes, former means stuff you used to do. The former comes to the old man. And clean your life up, give your life to the Lord so that he can pour his new spirit into something that has been transformed into the newness of the life of Christ. That you put off concern in the formal conversation of the old man, which is corrupt. See, that's corruption. You think God is going to pour his spirit on you and you corrupted? You think God finna really pour his spirit and give you his spirit and you still wicked and sinful? See, we playing God like God's stupid. We trying to get over on God like He don't know them. You think God finna waste His precious Holy Spirit and give it to somebody whose life that's still corrupt? Listen to the book. He says that you pull off concerning the form of conversation of old man. Why are you gonna call up? Because which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust, because you, the life you live, I don't care if you did a big sin, little sin, a lot of sins, or a few sin, all of it was corrupt. And it was a deceitful lust, and all sin is against God, and he's not finna put his spirit in something that's corrupt. Your life got to change, and you got to die daily for God's spirit to come into your life. See, listen what he said. Put off that that that old man and his lifestyle, because that's corrupt in the seaful love. But verse 23 tells us what we got to do and be renewed. You got to be renewed, you gotta become new, and he ain't finna put his spirit in something, but a new bag, new bottle, and be renewed. Well, I gotta be renewed in Lord in the spirit of your mind, your spiritual mind. Let me take my time. A big part of us holding on to the old man and his sinful ways and corrupt ways is because our minds have been conditioned. Our minds have been fixed on a certain thing. See, a big part of what sinning is is because that sin is in our mind now, it's in our spirit. Because we've been doing it for so long, and it's in us. And say what you want to say, a lot of our sins, before we you may see people acting out their sins physically, by running off at the mouth, doing things with the hand, or whatever the case might be. You may see them do those things physically, but I'm here to tell you that sin that they are doing that you're seeing an outward physical manifestation of them doing, I can guarantee you, almost guarantee you, that most sins first start in the mind. You sitting up thinking about it, you ain't done no sin, but you sit up thinking about it. I think I told y'all that's one of the devil's key weapons. A lot of people say, the devil made me do it. Stop lying. One of his major weapons that he uses against us is not to get us to do anything at all. See, you got to live the lives, know what I'm talking about. What I'm gonna tell you. I said one of the devil's main tactics and strategic weapons. It's not, yeah, he's gonna eventually do, but that's not his main objective when he comes to you, is not to get you to do nothing at all. Because he's going about it in a strategic way. He knows that he first got to get in your head. And he comes with this weapon, I call it the weapon of suggestion. He just suggested to you. He doesn't tell you to go up and just slap somebody in the mouth all the time at first. He just thinks how you think about it. Oh, she keeps on talking to me. I ain't gonna hit her now. If she just keeps on talking to me in my face, I won't slap the mess out of her. You ain't got it, but you just thinking about it. This is you to think of shit. He suggested to you. No, I ain't gonna I ain't gonna cheat on my wife, I ain't gonna cheat on my husband. But he just suggests, just think about it though. Just think about it before you say, no, just think about it. That's what he does. But then, all that while you was thinking about it, he's setting up the other part of the trap. And the moment y'all have an argument, the moment y'all at a disagreement, the moment you don't got tired of putting up with her mess and stop got tired of putting up with his stuff. He suggests to you. Now you know that woman that's your daughter, you know, she always talks nice to you. You can talk to her. He just suggests wrong with talking. I guess I could just go talk to her, okay. But he know how weak you is and talking. gonna lead to some hell. He didn't tell you to go cheat, but he just suggested. Subtly. This is what you always do. You ain't gotta put over they stuff. You ain't got food, then he knows some part of you ain't died. To having a roving eye to having a creeping spirit to having a flirtatious spirit. He knows something that ain't died always died in you. Doing double takes walk past you you have to turn around and look back at him. He just suggests you ain't done them but he's suggesting and the seed of suggestion will germinate and become a full blown plant if you know what I'm talking about. You got to get rid of that corrupt man and deceitful love and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. See a renewed mind ain't gonna think like that no more the mind you got the mind you had in sin is not the mind that you can use living a holy life your whole mind got to change and it's got to be renewed. Now this is how you're gonna renew it trust me on this the new mind your mind can only be renewed by the word of God but you got to get that old mind out of you that old way of thinking it's got to you got to get that up out of you or yes you're not for the serve God your mind your spiritual mind the that you had in the old man your mind got to die you got to lose your mind if you can stay with me spiritually you got to lose this mind in order to have the mind of Christ you got to lose your mind because see our way of thinking is corrupt our way of thinking has gotten us into trouble time and time again our mind because we see we crazy silly and ignorance and a lot of things and that kind of mentality has ruined some of our lives even to this day even though we may be saying young guys saying that but some of the things we've done by following the mind that we had back then some of the consequences there are still signs of the consequences that you had to suffer as a result of having that kind of mind you had in that old man before you learned how to die to that thing because we always follow our mind but see in this life that we're living you don't follow your mind you follow the mind of Christ you don't go according to your own your mind your ways you go according to what Christ thinks what would Jesus do find out in the word and you know what Jesus did how he did be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that ye put on now see when your mind get renewed see first the 22nd verse told us you got to you got to put off you you got to listen you can't I'm using old folk back in in my day you tell me you can't put the cart before the horse now I know a lot of y'all young folk don't understand what that means because you don't know what a cart or a horse is but anyway a cart is the bugger that the horse drove carried draw and you put hitch the horse up in front of it that's odd when you find somebody hook the horse up to the back of the cart the carry the buggers watch some Western shows y'all know what I'm talking about because that's what I watched the old book said you can't put the cart for the horse and some of us trying to force and make it seem like we're living a holy lifestyle but ain't got rid of the old lifestyle first verse 22 tells us what you got to take off in between you taking off that old man the Bible says while you taking off we should be trying to step into an area in our lives where we are being renewed in our mind the kind of mind that the old man got it's got to change before you can do verse 24 where it says and that you put on she done took off something now you can put something on in the place of what you took off this gonna be a new man he said and that ye put on see ye can you give something you got to do see Jesus just made it available before you just provided the new clothes for you to put on the devil provides the old clothes that you was wearing corrupt clothes but through Christ and you dying daily you learn that now you got to take off them old clothes get rid of them old rags of sinfulness old rags of ungodliness take them old of your shoes off of sinful shoes you used to wear get renewed in your mind and there Jesus is he got some fresh clothes so a holy garment for you to wear and that you put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness here it is and true holiness look at that that's the book see the clothes that Jesus trying to give you the clothes that the Lord trying to give you they've been made by God well let me say like the book said he said created that 24 verse which are which after God is created the clothes you've put on that God trying to give you once you go ahead and die daily God has created this new garment hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah this new form of dress if you would he has created it in righteousness read your Bible verse 24 created it in righteousness as Ephesians chapter 4 verse 24 created it in righteousness and true holiness that means what God has created for you to wear for you to live in for you to cover your life is created in righteous true holiness which means it's gonna help you by wearing it because you wear that's all you wear Jesus is going to help you to live a righteous life and a life in true holiness because it was created in righteousness and true holiness itself what you talking about Dixon because Jesus is holy and you allow him to come into your life him living holy and righteous through you will help you to live righteous and holy by him living in you by you putting him on and that ye put on put on Jesus you got to die to sin die to the old man learn how to die so that you can put on Jesus and with Jesus comes a garment created by God in righteousness and true holiness that's why when you see a truly saved person you're gonna know it I say when you see a truly saved person you're gonna know it. Even the devils know when they come upon a truly saved person. A real sinner know he comes upon a truly saved person. Because you can't hide that when you wear the garment of righteousness and true holiness you cannot be healed because with it comes a a holy illumination or light if you will and it's not like the darkness that you used to see in other people's lives this person's life has now has a light about itself when once your life had a darkness about itself but you came to God ready to die you came to God ready to renew your mind you came to God ready to put off the former lifestyles of the old man that was corrupt and full of deceitful and things of the world. Oh but the Lord came to you one day and drew you to him and you knew then you had to renew your life your mind your heart everything got to be renewed and then now you have to put on that new man and that new man is after God in other words it comes from God which caused you that's why people say when they see a safe person they live in a godly life because a godly life is after it comes from God and has the attributes of God in it and then he gives you the garment he gives you the new clothes which have been created in righteousness and true holiness he said wherefore putting away lying see some of us need to stop lying we lie too much I said we lie too much point being is we should not be lying at all past this but I didn't say nothing but you can think a lie you can act out a lie in deceiving people and make them think what you want them to think but you ain't saying that so you don't so you have to say out a lie but you can lead people in how to you can steer people in how to think just by your actions well girl I thought I thought where you where you was acting you thought they were acting like they so and so and so and so Biden said you still lie liar pull off lying and every let me put all that in this year everything that has to do with deception deceiving all that's got to do with the category of lying because you that telling the truth and if you want to keep lying your father is the devil I'm gonna just tell you what the book says he's the father of lies all lies coming Jesus when he speaks a lie he ain't doing that but speaking of himself because he's a lie the epitome of lying and if lying is coming out of you in any form the devil is still in you and you ain't died and your show love ain't dead where for putting away lying put it away tell the truth sometime some people don't know when the last time they told the truth because their mouth is so used to lying even when they ain't got the lie they lie I say even when they ain't got the lie they lie put away where for putting away put it away lying he said speak every man truth with his neighbor tell the truth to people y'all know why God wants us to speak the truth is because he is the truth and everything truthful got to do with God tell the truth when you tell the truth you speak in Jesus because he is the way the truth and the life if you can't if you if you say you saved and got Jesus in your life but you can't speak the truth which means you can't speak Jesus you ain't dead you ain't dying but you need to get dead to that stuff speak every man truth with his neighbor for we are members one of another be ye angry and sin not let not the sun go down upon your wrath I have to tell people this because a lot of people say oh I can get mad as long as I don't sin while I'm getting mad as long as I don't let being mad make me do something I ain't supposed to do. And I tell people you got to understand this is a process of dying and everybody can't handle getting angry and sin and not because you ain't made it you ain't got there yet and for them people I tell all the time it's best for you not even get angry at all before you for you go up thinking that you can get mad and get angry and you ain't gonna sin it's best not to even get angry because you ain't ready yet because for some of us to get mad they gonna do something they and they already know it. To get mad for them it means they finna do something to somebody. But then they don't get married and get crazy. They just get upset with you but they ain't finna let them be mad at you cause them to move them from where they're standing in the Lord. Because they done beyond angry man they done got wrath done come over and they finna hurt somebody see you don't need to get mad if you like that until you completely die you don't even you need to avoid anything that getting you upset because you're finna sin. Be angry but sin not you can't let anger you cannot let wrath when you die to the things of the world and died in the flesh then that spiritual of the old man you cannot let anger cause you to step back over into the realm of sin doing something wrong that you're gonna regret and probably gonna do five to ten if you're hurting somebody assault and battery be angry and sin not let not the sun go down upon your wrath y'all heard the book say okay I'm gonna show you something now how many of us done been mad all day how many of us have been mad all day and the sun wouldn't let the sun go down my wrath on our being mad the Bible just said the wrath of man worketh not the wrath of God but now the Bible says don't let the sun go down on your wrath on you being mad. Get over it if you save you going to get over how many of us would have been mad all day from sun up to the moon come up we done been mad but the book said we weren't supposed to let the sun go down on us being mad in other words you're supposed to forgave you supposed to calm down you should have let that thing go I ain't saying nothing it's gonna be easy but I'm telling you what the Bible says that's why you got to sit before God and die daily because some of this stuff anger is one of them things you ain't gonna die all of it in one day those who got an angry spirit or a wrathful spirit that ain't gonna happen overnight but see a piece of that can die daily when you got that angry spirit humble wife that let the sun go down on their wreck friends and best friends that let the sun go down their wrap children that let the sun go down on big mad at mom and dad and they won't let me go hang out with my friend and go to the party sun go down we are not supposed to be an angry people I'm just let me go and get deep with you God's people are not supposed to be an angry people God's people are not supposed to be a people of wrath we are people of forgiveness showing love and compassion we are people that should be concerned with doing what's right in the eyes of God and not let something get us so worked up that has caused us to step out of holiness and step back into unholiness all because we got mad and done some things we shouldn't have done that that disrepresented Christ now you done calm down you in the holy cell and wonder how in the world did I let myself do that how in the world did I let myself go that far? Didn't I just tell you about the devil y'all won't listen I just told you about the devil he just suggested to your mind she said one more thing stab her suggest to your mind and see when he gets you to step out of the new man that you just put on he caused you to step back into that old man and now the lifestyle and the the personalities and characteristics of the old man has caused you to pay the consequences of the sins you just committed because you were not completely dead to that thing hallelujah I apologize thanks we're gonna have to be a part three and because I can't rush this I just gotta be a part three let me stop recording
