The Harvest Of Accountability

The seriousness of living our lives before God, while we are upon this earth is, that in all that we do, one day we all will have to give an account of it all.  Whatsoever is written must come to pass, but howsoever it comes to pass can be good for us or terrible for us.  This will be determined on how we have lived and planted the seeds of our existence.

God will not be mocked, and we must not deceive ourselves about what is written in his word. "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."  If we continue to sow to the flesh, we shall of the flesh reap the pending corruption, but if we sow to the Spirit, it is written that we shall reap, life everlasting!  This is why we should tend our harvest with accountability.

Honor the Lord this morning. Glory to God, who is the creator of all life, and to his only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I thank God also for you, all his people, his sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters in the Lord. We're so thankful for the Lord to have blessed us with another Sunday for our Sunday services of the Holy City Spirit of Truth Ministry. Also our bearing witness to the truth podcast. And I'm yours truly, Pastor Ricky D. Dixon. So glad to be able to bring to you the truth of God's word yet again for another Sunday. I'm so excited about this word this morning. So we're just going to get right into the word. So I won't belong your time no longer than I have to. So let me prepare for you this. Get ready for the word now, because I'm going to give it to you kind of raw this morning. I'm going to get it to you kind of raw. See, if we, as the generation of these last days, continue to so adamantly insist on living our lives on the premise that we can live just how we want to live and do just what we want to do without any restraints or discipline or any moral boundaries. We must also be just as adamant in accepting the consequences of the harvest. When the seeds of which we have planted bring forth the crops as a result of our choices, our decisions, whether the harvest be good or bad, we got to accept the consequences. We have deceived ourselves into the thinking that the free will of which we have been given means that we are free to live just how we want and just how we so choose. We're deceiving ourselves. We think that a lot of people think that if it's if we got free will, it must be free, having no price on it. But yes, I'm here to tell you this morning: the things we do in our lives come with a price. The consequences of our actions, the consequences of our ways have a price, regardless of how much you free will you think you got. But let me tell you something from our free will. See, this mental deception, hallelujah, hallelujah, of which we have allowed the world to feed us, and also what we have chosen to feed ourselves, has caused the many multitudes of mankind and people to live life precariously. All willing nilly. See, the free will of which we have been given by God, understand this, it's given with the intent that we will be accountable and govern our lives with the understanding that since this freedom of wills has been given unto us by God, it is given that we will willingly live our lives according to his will and not our own. We must change this mindset and thought process of ourselves with haste and in a hurry. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And take accountability. While there may be time for us to yet plant and sow something differently, choosing our seeds more wisely and making our choices more godly. Somebody needs to tell us and make us aware of this one truth. This one truth, what I'm gonna tell you. That truth being that whether we know it or not, it is a scriptural law, a word of God's truth, that whatsoever we have sown in our lives, we must also receive and reap what comes back to us in the harvest. And hear me what I told you. If we have planted the seed, we most definitely will harvest the crops which come up as a result of the seeds we planted. What will be one of our most rude awakenings will be when we realize that no matter what we have thought, we cannot stop the harvest from coming. Let us pray that most of our deeds in life have been deeds of good seeds. Because you can plant good seeds and good crops come up. But I'm not afraid so many people have not been mindful of what they're doing or just don't care that a lot of seeds in their ground have been wicked seeds, and that's what's gonna come back up. We must commit ourselves to planting and doing things more righteously in our lives than we have previously done in our past. Looking back over our lives and seeing the many things we have done and the days, hallelujah, hallelujah, the months and the years of wrong ungodly choices and living, the way we have treated other people, the ugly words we have spoken, the sinful acts we have engaged in. When all these seeds begin to germinate and come up, will our lives be able to adjust and maintain when our own ways come back unto us the way we planted them, what we're gonna do. The perception in our vision of seeing things right in our own eyes has only deceived us. We must become accountable of planting habits, coming to this understanding before it is too late to change the outcome of our lives' harvest. My brothers and sisters, this morning's message: the harvest of accountability. The harvest of accountability. And I know that's a word a lot of us don't like to hear because we don't want nobody to call us to accountability of ourselves. We hate to hear the truth about our ways. We hate to hear the truth about our actions. But we're gonna have to, I'm telling the I'm gonna when I get to the end of this message, I'm gonna show you a scripture. We're gonna one day have to stand before God and give an account of our lives. And I'm gonna tell you, show you something else in the word of God. You're not gonna be able to lie to him because he's gonna take over your tongue. I'm gonna show you in the word. I'm gonna show you in the word. The word of God, the harvest of accountability. Paul addressed this particular subject before the church in Galatia. And in the book of Galatians, he says this be not deceived. Don't mean let nobody else deceive you. And more importantly, don't you deceive yourself. Be not deceived. God is not mocked. You ain't finna make no mockery of God, you ain't finna make no fool out of God because you think you're getting away with how you live it, and because God ain't done that to you yet, you just gonna let the devil deceive you think you've done got away with it, and or either it must be all right, but you're deceiving yourself. And I'm with Paul this morning. Be not deceived. I'm gonna tell you, God sees everything, he hears everything, and he know everything. God is not marked. Tell him, Paul, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. I don't care what you sow in the ground. You you can sow good, you can sow bad, you can sow evil, you can sow wicked. But whatever, now notice whatever you put in that ground, what in your life, whatever you sow, meaning to plant, that's what you're gonna reap when the harvest time comes. And you ain't gonna have no choice but to reap your harvest, because you are the only one that's gonna reap the benefits, the consequences, the punishment for what you planted. And and God ain't gonna be marked because this is a scriptural law. It's written. This is written. Whatsoever man soweth, that shall he reap. You're gonna reap it, whether you want to or not. One other thing we should definitely understand is that we ain't never going to get away with thinking that we have mocked God. Believing that just because he has been silent for many years, and just because ain't nothing happened to you yet, that this means we have gotten away with the dirty lives which we have lived before him. I'm gonna tell you again, God cannot be mocked. He can see, God don't have to worry about no time. I've been I've been reading the Old Testament. He let some of them folks go years and years after he told them he was gonna get them. He told the people, the Amalekite people, I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna get you. Because they wouldn't let Moses and the children of Israel cross through their land when they left Egypt. Do you not know? God said that then. But if you if you read your mouth, it wasn't until he years later, Moses done died. Joshua done died, all the judges done died, and Samuel was the last judge. And and and God gave them King Saul. It wasn't until King Saul that God brought it back up again. Okay, now that you got a Israel upon him of king, I want you to go now and destroy all the Amalekites because of what they did at my children cross over when I got them out of ears. Now you know how many years that was between that? And the sad thing about it, God told us kill every man, kill every woman, kill every boy, kill every girl, kill every cow, every donkey, every camel, everything that they ever had. God cannot be mocked. And you can't play with it. You think you're living in fancy-free, it's coming up again. See, those who claim to be born again, spirit-filled followers of Christ, while at the same time consciously sowing to please the sinful nature that they got, are guilty of mocking and despising God, because you know better. Let there be no deception. Such persons will reap corruption and death, and they will not reap life everlasting. That's according to the word. There should be a reverential caution, a fear of God caution within us to take heed of not mocking God or of deceiving ourselves by telling ourselves that God overlooks certain things. It don't matter. He knows that we really didn't mean it because God loves us. See, so many people justify a whole lot of things in their brain, in their mind, that God ain't never said. But to make them feel better about what they're doing, they try to justify it in their minds. And ain't no justification gonna keep you out of destruction, out of the punishment or the consequences because of what you done did and planted in your life. Okay, let me tear that down. Let me go and tear that down. Because since you think God loves you, let me tell you something. Yeah, he does. That's true. God does love us. I mean, he loves us dearly. He does, y'all. Well, let me tell you something about God. Let me tell you the first, let me be the first one to tell you what God loves even more than you and me. He loves his word and the truth and what has been written more than he loves you and I. Because he is one with his word, he's one with his truth, and he ain't finna break that truth just because he loves you, because you done did and wrong and messed up. I will say it again: be not deceived. God will not be mocked, and you can justify it in your mind all you want to. If the word don't say it, you're deceiving yourself. Many people are apt and prone to excuse themselves from putting in the work of living a holy and righteous life. We don't want to be lazy. We spiritually lazy. We won't put in, won't want to put in the work of living a holy life, a righteous life, and doing what's right. We don't want to put that work in. We don't want to do it while we're on the earth because there's too many temptations, too many, too many things we can just be at ease with. We want to live for the Lord, living for him to be easy and without a whole lot of effort. Let me also be the first to tell you. The only place where we will have it that easy is when after we're gonna get in heaven. That's where it's gonna be easy there. It ain't gonna be easy down here. Because this is not the world for that. Many of us simply do not put much thought into how we must treat others. But be it known, the word of God states in verse 7 whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. If you do it, there are consequences to what you have done. Now, don't get me wrong, you can do right, and there are consequences of doing right. Right gonna come back to you. Blessings are gonna come back to you because you do there are blessings and benefits for doing what's right. But it's depending on which one you choose. Let me give you some spiritual understanding. Let's get some spiritual understanding here. In that scripture, verse says Galatians 6 and 7, that verse 7, where it says, Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Let me let me explain something to you here. Let me explain something to you. When the word of God says that. I want you to see the strongest word in that particular scripture. The strongest word in that verse is the word T-H-A-T. That I'm gonna explain to you why. Because it gives us an image of the harvest before it's time for us to reap it. It's telling you what's gonna come up before it comes up. That if you planted or did something in your life that was wrong, when that comes up, it's gonna be wrong back towards you. That's a strong word, the word that that word T-H-T, that shall you also reap. You can't plant one kind of seed and another kind of crop come up. That ain't how this thing works, naturally or spiritually. You reap what you planted if you did wrong and evil. Oh, let me tell you this: the word that is indicating to us that the same things of which we have done, the same ways of which we have treated others, is the same that will come back to us from our own harvest. You talking about harvest of accountability? When that a lot of people are gonna want the same ways to come back to them that they did to other people. Well, why not? Is what you planted. The ways of which I treated someone else, that is what will come back to me. And we know all, all of us know all the dates that we have done. We know all our data, we know how we have lied and deceived those we loved, we know the unholy and immoral acts and ways we have lived. These are the dates that shall be our harvest. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We planted that, and that is the debt that we shall harvest when reaping time comes. God is perfectly acquainted with our hearts as well as our actions. And as he cannot be deceived, neither will we be mocked. Will he be mocked? And therefore, to prevent this, he directs us to what is written and forever settled as a moral and conscious rule to ourselves, that whatsoever a man sowed, that shall he also read. So you can't you can't blame nobody for giving you the wrong thing, or uh, this ain't what you ordered, this ain't what I thought it was gonna be. You ain't gonna have no doubt in your mind because you already know whatever you put out, you know that's what's gonna come back to you. You don't want nobody lying to you, but you done lied. You don't you don't want nobody mistreating you, but you've done mistreated somebody. But you're gonna get it back. It's coming back up. See, our accountability, hallelujah, hallelujah. Our accountability is required of us in all that we do. And we have no choice but to reap the harvest of which we ourselves have planted. Verse 18 said, if you ever read that, he said, for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall also of the spirit reap life everlasting. If you sow wrong, you you just hey, it's gonna come wrong, come back to you. It's coming. See, there are there are two types of seed sowing when it comes to our deeds. Sow unto the flesh, see, that's the bad seed, and sowing to the spirit, see that's the good seed. See, so according to as we have planted, will the reckoning be hereafter? If we sow to the flesh, we shall of the flesh reap corruption. Your flesh told you to be messy towards somebody. Okay, well, messy gonna come back to you. Don't get upset now with other folks down the road. You might be gonna forgot about it because it might this harvest might not come up but two years from now. But when it does, remember that you were messy. And when you got a gang of folks trying to be messed towards you, just take it and shut your mouth. Because that's your father, that's your crops that you planted. Those who live, hallelujah, a carnal, sensual life, who instead of employing themselves to the honor of God and the good of others, spend all of their thoughts and cares and time going about doing the things of the flesh, must expect no other kind of fruit or crop, but the fruit and crops of corruption. The harvest comes up according to the seed which was planted. I'm gonna say that again. Don't look for nothing different. We want, I want to be blessed. Bless me, Lord, bless me, Lord. But you ain't got no blessings planted that you don't need in somebody else's life. Those who sow to the Spirit, here you go, these folks are trying to do right now, who under the guidance and influence of the Holy Ghost do live a holy and spiritual lifestyle, a life of devotion to God and of usefulness and of service to others. Don't mind hipping somebody else. Don't don't don't be out there spreading all kinds of lies behind people's back. See, they sow good seed. Those who sow in this manner can look forward to and depend on the Holy Ghost that they shall reap life everlasting. They shall have the truest comfort in their present course and an eternal life and happiness at the end of it, because this is what they planted. Those who go about to mock God are only deceiving themselves in this process. Hypocrisy in living holy is the greatest, to me now, to me it is. Hypocrisy, them hypocrites, pretenders, fake Jacobs, in living holy and living a saved life, to me is the greatest spolling and foolishness as well as wickedness, since the God in which we have to do with can easily see through all our pretense and all our disguises, and will certainly deal with us hereafter, not according to our own profession or our titles and position. He's gonna deal with us according to our practices, the things we have done. Sooner than we think. We will come face to face with our accountability for all the things which we have done. We one day are gonna have to come face to face with the harvest of our accountability. One thing Paul also said to the church in Galatians, to them that was trying to live right and plant good seeds, for them to not get weary in doing what's right, for them to not get discouraged because they're doing well. He said it like this, and let us not be weary in well doing. For in due time, just wait on it, in due time it's coming. He said, For in due time we shall reap. Talking about reaping the good stuff. But he says this if we faint not, don't give up. Don't get almost to the end of this thing and give up, y'all. The God is coming. You're gonna get your blessing. You're gonna reap a good hard, which don't let discouragement and what others think about you and what they've been saying. About you cause you to get weary because you live right. That's what that spirit in him is gonna do, because he can't stand that spirit in you. Just know that in due time, if you hold out and if you hold on, if you don't faint, don't give up. You're gonna reap your greatest harvest. See, we must remain at all costs fixed. Your mind got to stay fixed in our reverential caution. Always be cautious of how you live. Always be mindful of what you're doing. Always be mindful of how you treat one another. I like it when David said, if you ever read Psalms 108, he said, Oh Lord, my heart is fixed. Keep your heart fixed on the Lord. I don't care what people say, don't care what they do. We must keep that reverential caution to not become weary in our well-doing and in doing what is right. As we should also not excuse ourselves. Don't give yourself no out from any part of our godly duty. Don't get tired of doing what's right. Don't get tired of living saved. Don't get tired of being a child of God. See, neither should we grow weary in living, this holy lifestyle before God, who has called us to be holy, just like Him. There can be in all of us too great of a proneness to this. Because we just win is going to win, it's gonna be my time. I'm tired of going through. Well, ask the Lord for some more strength. Ask the Lord to lift you up. Ask the Lord to hold you. Just give you some more fit. Because you can't give up. You can't let yourself stop. You can't let yourself turn around. Hear me what I'm telling you. You can't. We almost at the end. You can't stop. We are apt to flag and tire in duty. Don't let yourself get tired. We want to fall off from it. We want to have a day off. I ain't no days off in living right. Particularly that part of which we should be found doing good towards others. That's gonna be one of our biggest things when we stand before God that we're gonna have to give in kind of the way we treat and have treated others. Don't get it wrong. This includes people in your household. Just because people are family don't mean you can treat them wrong, y'all. Just because this is your cousin, you can't treat them wrong. Just because that's your wife, you can't talk to them wrong. Just because that's your husband, you can't just do them wrong. Wrong is wrong. And you got to give an account of that. Let us be assured, because in due season, if we shall reap, if we faint not, there is a recompense. Listen to this, a reward. That's a reward waiting on you in reserve for all who sincerely employ themselves in well-doing and sowing what is right. We cannot allow ourselves to grow weary or to become impatient in sowing good seed. You just keep doing what's right. Your job is just to do what's right and plant the seed. But God is gonna give the increase. When he caused it to come up, it's gonna come up in your favor because of how you planted it. We cannot faint in the way of our righteous witness. Watch that witness. Watch that witness. Your witness is very bad. What's your witness is how you how people perceive you, how they see you behaving, how they see you acting, how they hear you talking. That's your witness. If we grow weary of it and withdraw from it, we shall not only miss out on this our reward, but lose out on enjoying the fruit of the harvest, which is our destiny to reap in the presence of the Lord. Come on. But if we hold on and hold out in well-doing, though our reward may be delayed just for a little while, just for a little while, don't think it ain't coming. It's coming. Believe me, it shall surely come. And we'll be and see, we will be so, it will be so, so great as to make us the true recipients of an abundant recompense of reward for all of our pains and suffering. You're gonna get it. You just got to hold on. Paul tells the church also in Galatians, as we therefore have opportunity, as you as if the opportunity presents itself, as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men. See, that word is y'all. We can't get around what's written. We just can't get around what's written. You might not want to head, you might not want to live. That's fine, but we can't change what's written. And that's gonna be on your head, how it comes out on you in the end. As we have therefore opportunity, and you can't say during the course of a day, during the course of a week, you ain't had an opportunity to do what's right. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men. Now, but some of them co-workers get on my nerves. I'll say it again. Do good unto all men. But some of my family members crazy, Pastor, you just don't know. Do good unto all men. Yeah, but sometimes, and I know they talk behind my back, and I know they they they they did this, and I just don't know. Do good unto all men. This is part of the sacrifice of those who choose to live for God. We are those who must do good. Now, this doing good and doing what's right is not predicated on what other people do. They may never treat you right, they may never talk to you right, but that's on their head. You know what my Bible tells me? It I live by this. My Bible tells me, be not overcome with evil. But you're supposed to overcome evil with good. That's my book. That's what my book says. That means you can't let what people do overcome you or cause you to get on their level or to become like them or to act like them. Don't you know when you do that? Behind the scenes in the spiritual realm, the devil is laughing. See, I got her to do just what I wanted her to do through my servant. Got on her nerves. See, you gotta stop looking at the people and look at that spirit that's within them that's trying to draw you out or to make you come back on that level or go back into that old way you done gave up. We got to be wise. You know what my Bible also tells me? This is what I live by this too. He says, see, we in living this life, he said, we gotta be as harmless as doves, but be as wise as a serpent. You ain't no snake, but sometimes dealing with snake, you got to be just as smart as a snake. But your actions are gonna be harmless as a dove. You're not gonna have the actions of a snake, just the wisdom of a snake. Be as wise as a serpent when dealing with these snakes. As much, he said, as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, unto them who are of the household of faith, especially, he says, especially to your brothers and sisters in Christ, especially to them, but you're doing it to all men. That's part of the characteristics of a child of God, because that's a sign that the Spirit of God is in you. When you don't mind doing right and doing what's good to all people, no matter what they say, they can say they hate you. That's all right. I'm still gonna love you and do what's right. You ain't doing it for them. You're doing it because this is what required of you by your Lord God and your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because they said do it. You ain't trying to please people, you're trying to please God, as we have therefore an opportunity. It is not enough that we just do good to others. That's good, but that ain't all. But let but we must also live the life which is associated among those who have a relationship with the Lord. If we be ourselves the saints of God, as we claim to be, we should be sure to do good whensome we may have the opportunity. Or while our lives last upon this earth, which is the only season wherein we are capable of doing good in serving the Lord, our God, and serving others. Now, let me let's go deeper now, since we're dealing with this message, the harvest of accountability. Let us look closer at the seeds, and just why we have to be accountable for them. This same Paul had to deal with the church in Corinth because they had this, they had these bad seeds down there. And he had to address because they was coming into the church, which is up. In the book of 1 Corinthians, he had to deal with the church in Corinth. He says this, and these are the seeds, some just these ain't all of them, but it's just some of the seeds. Know ye not, he says, that the unrighteous, the unrighteous, shall not inherit the kingdom of God. He said, You might as well get that in the head. If you live in an unrighteous life, I don't care because you come to church, I don't care because you made proud me. I don't care because you came here and after the revival, know ye not that the unrighteous, though unrighteously, those who ain't living right, ain't doing right. And you know you ain't. The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is not your inheritance if you have lived an unrighteous life. Now he's finna tell you why. He said he's finna say the same thing he told the Galatian church. He says, be not deceived. Because you've been deceiving yourself. Too many people think because the way they live in, it ain't hurting nobody, and ain't nothing gonna happen to them, they ain't gonna have to be accountable for nothing. But Paul and the word of God tears all that down. Be not deceived. Come the seeds now. Here come the seeds that you plant. He said, Neither fornicators. Come on now. All this sex going on around him. Just for just free sex, fornicator, that's a seed. He said, Idolaters, that's a seed, making other things your idols. He said, No, adulterers, married. No, you don't need to be. Ain't got no business sleeping with nobody else. That's your hub and that's your wife. Adulterer. Oh, I wish I had time to break all this down. I'm just gonna give these the seed. I'm gonna go back over. Farnacadles, that's a seed you done planted. Because you ain't got no business out there doing that. Idolaters, something you done made an idol. Adulterers, sleeping around, married and sleeping around. And don't bit more things nothing about it. Effeminate, man having feminine ways. And you know what I'm talking about homosexuality, drag queen, effeminate, that's what that is. Nor abusers of themselves with mankind. You know what that is? Abruises of themselves with my men that are abusing themselves because they sleeping with other men. That's what that's talking about. Abusers of themselves with mankind, because a man ain't never supposed to be met in the eyes of God to be with another man in that way. That's a seed you plant, and that's what's gonna come up towards you. God ain't did I say God? Did I tell y'all God is not marked? If we plant these kinds of seeds, these are the seeds that's gonna come up in our lives. And because some of them don't come up to it takes years to come up and really come up to full bloom, we just don't think nothing about it, and we just keep on and we don't compound it time and time again. Some of us, like the church in Corinth, are deceived into believing that even if they broke fellowship with Christ, if they just fell off a little while and disowned to live immorality and injustice, they believe that their salvation and their inheritance in the kingdom of God will still be intact and secure. And they don't deceive, they say, didn't Paul just say that? Be not deceived. You ain't getting why should you get the good when you don't live the wrong? It don't work like that. Not in God's kingdom. Now you can justify it in your mind and thank you all you want to think that you're gonna get it, but you're gonna be in a rude awakening. See, my book also tells me there's gonna be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Because see, the reality is gonna hit you. It's best that we take accountability now and repent and get this thing right. So we won't have to reap this kind of harvest that's coming. Howsoever, see, Paul declares that spiritual death is the inevitable consequence of habitual sinning. Some people just can't stop sinning, even for those who claim to be people of God. No one can live for the satisfaction of immoral gratification and still think that they will yet inherit the kingdom of God. If you do think that, you're fooling yourself. Paul's warning is directed to the whole church community. We must not be deceived, for all who are unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Salvation without the regenerating and sanctifying work of the Holy Ghost has no place in the body of Christ. Let me get you some more seed. I want all the seed. Let me give you some more seed. In verse 10, he said, Thieves, taking something that you know ain't belong to you. Lying to get your food stamped, lying to get your child support. Just lying. Thieves, that's that's still thieves, robbing. Y'all, you ain't really no banking, tell nobody with, but stealing is stealing. Covetous, less thing on this list, covetous, won't something with somebody else's guy. I hate to see them with you. Drunkards, that's a seed. Revilers. You know the violence, them that cussing all the time. Rag the nash the mouth, revilers, nor extortion us, those who get over on other people, manipulate, intimidate, extortion us, shall not inherit the kingdom of God. He says that in verse 10. Did he say this in verse 11? He said, and such were some of you. Some of you need some of all of us done been something on that list, somewhere at some time. That ain't the whole list. That's just some of the stuff off the list. He said, and such were some of you. But see, you need to thank God you saved now. He said, but you have been washed. Your life done been cleaned up. You he said, but you are washed, but you are sanctified now. Your life clean. You don't do that kind of stuff no more. But you are justified. If you want to be justified, let God justify you. But you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus. He can justify that you don't change your way. He can justify you don't change your life. He can justify that you don't think and do things like that no more. Let your justification be through him. Because if Jesus vouching for you, that's the best vouching you can have. And such were some of you. Used to be, but you are washed now, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. You ain't got no greater witness than that. When they say you you ain't liked it the most, you can rest assured your life now can produce a good harvest. See, the seeds in life of which we plant have no other choice but to eventually come up. The deeds which we have done have no other choice but to identify with us because we are the ones who did the deeds, because we planted the seeds. This can all change though. This can all change for us. If we but be mindful of the things we do and the discipline and start disciplining ourselves from all ungodliness and works of the flesh and the bad spirit, the harvest which we reap can be harvest of good reward instead of terrible consequences. The harvest has always been determined by the seed which was planted. If you planted jealousy, jealousy is what's gonna come up in your harvest. If you planted lies, you too will be lied to. If you cheated, you too will be cheated on. And cheating ain't cheating ain't the only cheating ain't sexual. You could be done cheating somebody out of some money, you could be done cheating somebody out of a job or anything. There's all kinds of cheatings. See, this is what I like about Jesus. Jesus himself taught us in the Word of God when He said this in the book of Matthew, he said, even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Now, what's what's in you? Is good in you, or is this corruption in you? Because whatever's in you, whatever kind of heart you got, that's what kind of fruit you're gonna produce. Every one of us will have to be accountable of the deeds of which we have done in this life. And know that God is no respected person, accountability can be a hard pill for many to swallow because you got to give an account of yourself. And we don't want to hear the truth on ourselves. But what indeed should have been harder, since you think acknowledging and being accountable of your deed is hard to do. But see, what should have been harder for you to do is to let yourself plant the wicked seeds of your actions. I leave all of you with this word in the book of Romans. Let me leave you with this here. I'm gonna show you some power of God that you ain't gonna have no control over. In the book of Romans, that 14th chapter, Paul tells this to the church in Rome about God. He starts off saying this. He said, For as it is written. Listen at that. It's written. Let me tell y'all this here. When it comes to God's word, whatever is written cannot be changed. It can't be. So he tells the church here in Rome, for as it is written, as I live, says the Lord. That's what God did. He's telling, he's telling what God said. This is what God said. God says this every knee, hallelujah, hallelujah, every knee shall bow to me. Woo! Every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Then that's I'm finna show y'all something. So then he says, every one of us shall give account of himself to God. That's a strong word, but I'm finna give you something stronger. I'm gonna give you something stronger. What a lot of us are missing in the understanding of this particular text is this. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah. The power of God in that day of our accountability, which we will have to give based on our own harvest, this power of God that's gonna come over will cause us to bow our knees down before him. Because he said, Every knee shall bow to me, he says, and every tongue gonna confess to me. That means his power is gonna overtake you and control you. Since he gave you the knee, he's gonna speak to your knees, and your knees gonna obey God. Hallelujah. Since he gave you that tongue, that tongue he gave you gonna obey him and tell God everything that you done did. And you ain't gonna want to confess, but your tongue is gonna overtalk you and tell the truth. I'm gonna show you. See, the power of God will also cause our own tongues to confess against us in speaking that which we have done. It is this power, the word of God indicates, will have every one of us given an account of our own selves, confessing while our harvest and why our lives have produced such an ungodly crop, while we have been here on the earth. Our own tongues will tell the truth, even if we don't want it to. Our own tongues will not be able to resist from telling God the truth about us and our ways. That will be the one day that our own tongues will speak nothing but the truth and only the truth when we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
