Who touched me, is one my favorite series of study and teachings, read more about this great series in the descriptions of part one.
Last time uh last Sunday uh second Sunday I started speaking on something I didn't finish and I told y'all you know the Lord didn't give me something else for Easter Sunday, I would do part two uh of this particular message. Which he gave me something else, but I've been led to do that for Tuesday night. That particular message for Tuesday night. So I'm gonna do part two of the message that I started on second Sunday, which was Who Touched Me? And we started off talking about being touched by the Lord. But we also talked about when you and I go to touch him. And before I get any message, let me tell you something about the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, and I probably, you and I probably will never fully understand the Holy Ghost, but sometimes the Holy Ghost just drop wisdom, if you want to call it that, or or just say stuff to me just out the blue. And he hauled off and said, he said, you know how folks are always saying that man cannot predict the future. I can't explain what hoes. I can't, you know. Look at look at me strange. I'm used to it. I said, I'm telling you, you know, we can't tell what we can talk about what happened in our past, and we can talk about what's happening right now. But he said, you know how folks can say you can't speak the future. He said, but there is future, a future that a man can speak. I'm still not really full of understanding where he's going, but I'm listening. And he said unto me, you can speak the future right now. Of course, me, I well, I thought, well, hi, how can I speak the future right now? He said, and he took me to the word. If the Holy Ghost, if what you say, talk when you don't take it to the word, our question is if that the Holy Ghost is not. But the Holy Ghost, as I heard somebody say to this morning, he is a witness. But know what he is a witness of. He's a witness of the word of God, he's a witness of who Jesus is, and that stuff he brings out of remembrance. He said, He took it to the word of God. He says, Right now, you can speak the future because you can say right now that the God that you serve the same way he is today, he's gonna be the same way tomorrow. He said, That's speaking the future because you can't speak the future about yourself, but you can speak the future that about God. Our God, the same right now today. He was you can say without a doubt in your mind that he's still gonna be the same God tomorrow, which is in the future. When it comes to who God is, because in Malachi he said, He cannot I'm the Lord thy God, I change not. Whatever they rise, I can't speak the future, what's gonna happen to me. But when it comes to him who I serve, my God is gonna be the same today, yesterday, and forever. He's gonna be the same tomorrow. And if I speak that, I'll speak in the future about my Lord and Savior, about my God. Thank you, Holy Ghost. And as we come today, and as I begin to speak, we started on last Sunday understanding that if you're gonna serve the Lord, if you're gonna serve God, you're gonna have to touch him. There's gonna have to be times you have to go to God and seek him out. And see, but here's the sad thing about it. A lot of us have not gotten to the point in our lives where we see that we need to reach out and touch him because I'm gonna tell you about a woman in the Bible, she didn't realize she needed to touch the Lord for 12 years, she didn't realize it for 12 years, that's a long have we set up, how many years have we set up on ourselves and still have not come to the knowledge of or the realization of to realize that we should have done church him by now? But if some of us, like I told you on last Sunday, some of us that we're gonna have to get to rock bottom. We're gonna have to have our backs up against the wall. We're gonna have to be the land out of all other resources. We're gonna have to die to have gotten to a point where we're gonna have to stop putting our faith in everything else, and all that's left is Jesus. Let me tell you about it, because she's gonna say, she done went to everybody she can go to. You're gonna see what she done spent on the money she can spend on. And the whole thing, the book gonna say, she didn't even get better, but she got worse. Wait now, I've spent out of my mind on these phone. You tell me I done got worse, it's gonna be something uh to show me that I can show as a fact of me spending all this money, and I'm gonna have something to show. But see, when you depend on everything else other than Jesus. Ain't no guarantee it's gonna come out like you think it's gonna come out, but that's all right. Let's keep hope alive because some of us, that's what we're gonna have to take. For us to shut out everything else, for us to push out everything else that's not the Lord, for us to come to see now that she done ran out of money, and now the doctor done told her we can't do nothing else for you, you going on to the house. But you still got this problem, you still got this issue that still haven't been rectified, and it still hasn't been fixed. But here comes you're gonna find that the word of God will tell her she heard. She heard about somebody, what he was doing for us, how he was helping us, how he was delivering others, and whatever this she heard about Jesus. The book don't say, but I can tell you by what she heard, you can tell her actions showed that she believed it. Or else she wouldn't have been trying to look for him in the first place, had she not believed what she had heard. So let's hold on to that. Let me let me lead you up to this. We started off on last Sunday coming to a knowledge and understand who Jesus is and why we were able to touch him, because he is our high priest. Because he is a high priest like no other, because the book said we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmity. Jesus understands, Jesus knows what you're going through. Because the book tells us that he was tempted and he went through stuff just like we did. But the book said, without sin. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched. See, Jesus had to do away with that because he wanted a people that was able to touch him and he put himself in a position for we, if we ever need to touch him, we can go and touch him. Now, this touch ain't so much a physical touch. We need to get beyond that because there is touching, and then there is touching. And if she is, hey, see, you understand what I'm talking about. If somebody had ever done something for you, but what they did touched your heart. That's touching you. They could be thousands of miles away, but what they did, it touched your spirit. And you felt that thing, yeah, people can come up and touch you all day long. Because Jesus was in the crowd of monkey, but great multitude, and he hung over there. Who touched me? Gee, you got man, say, who touched you? All these folks pressing up against you and bumping up against you, you, and you say, Who touched me? Everybody touching you. They ain't touching I'm talking about. Somebody touch me because see, when you touch Jesus, know this if you don't know that is. When you truly touch Jesus, the spiritual touch I'm talking about, there's some virtue gonna come out of Jesus on your behalf to fix whatever it is you need fixing. Why do you think when people say they know that the very moment that they body feel good? When I took it to Jesus, like something touched my body. That's the virtue of the power of the law touching your body. See, y'all ain't spirit if y'all don't know what I'm talking about. This shit if you want to. Y'all had Dr. Tell me and then you can do they miss ghosts and Miss Personal, and then uh they we do you y'all go home, take him on home, let him die at the house. I ain't got tell him now, I just make that that's that's they said that to me. And and these old back then, see in the 70s, white dogs didn't mind. You don't say that to no child. I didn't need to hear that. Well, you don't you don't mind saying that to a black boy? Who praise this white dog? Ain't that we can do for him. He he won't live to see Christ. Best we can do is you take them home and let him drop them last few months at the time. I didn't need to hear that. But see, now I think about her at that because now I don't care what you tell me now. I hear what Jesus said.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonSo little hard-headed boy. Anyway, you got there, you know, I want to hear when you don't want to hear your power, you go in one and go out of. See that the people now. You talking to me, but it's going in one and going out of. Because if you ain't talking to me what the Lord said, if you ain't talking to me what the book says, I ain't hearing you. Because see, over what you say, the Holy Ghost simplest in somebody else, you can't see them. I'm hearing what the Holy Ghost says. Over what you think you say, and think you getting in, but you ain't got in. Because see, what the Holy Ghost said to me over the years, that takes precedence over anything. He said, Somebody touch me. Because I felt the virtue go out of me. I feel power go out of me. And see, what causes the virtue to go out of Jesus? You see, when you touch him, you touched him in faith. And that faith, it drew something out of him, what you need. And she needed something. That's why we have a great high priest. We have not a great high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmity, but was in all points tempted, like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace. That we see this is what we could when you come before Jesus, you got to know he got what you need. When you come to Jesus, you got to know he can answer your prayer. You know he can fulfill whatever petition you got before him. That we may obtain, obtaining the gift, that we may obtain mercy. The Lord knows I need mercy. That's why I keep reading that over and over. David, he keeps on saying, Lord, thy mercy endures forever and ever. God don't run out of mercy. I thank God He don't, because I need it every day. That way we come to Him. You come to get what you need, but you also know if you come to Him, you need mercy. I need to have mercy upon my soul. Because these folks say I ain't gonna get well. These folks said uh for 12 years I ain't gonna get no better. I don't spend all my money, but I'm coming to you. I need you to have mercy upon my soul. Because if you don't fix this, see if that issue of blood she had had not stopped, do you know basically she was dying? You can't lose blood for 12 years and you ain't dying. You're dying. Because if you don't keep blood in your body, you can't live. She will die. And some of us got to get in a death-like situation almost for us to realize we need the Lord before we touch the Lord, before we seek Him out so we can touch Him, that we may obtain mercy and find grace in the time of need. What we are right now in this world, whether you in the secular world or whether you're in the sanctified world, we are in a time of need, and that's fine. But see, for those who have a knowledge of who can fulfill their need, you at peace. Because, yeah, I recognize I got a need, but I also know who is the need supplier. I also know who can help me and drag me the help or the mercy I need in the time of deed. When bills need paying. Jobs, people losing jobs. Ain't enough money to make all the ends meet. I got a couple of them, but all the ends still ain't meeting. Why getting on my nerves? She looked at my last name. Husbands don't want to do right. Children done going all the way crazy. I have a need, Lord. This I this is needing stuff here. This ain't play pretty stuff here. This is stuff I really got a need for, Lord, because what we don't realize, see, we need to say being in this physical form we in, we can get to the point or we just done got tired. We don't got frustrated. And it done took its toll upon us. We are setting in need. But see, if we learn to seek Jesus and not wait 12 years, not wait 20 years, not wait a moment when you recognize you've got a need and seek him out because Lord, if you don't touch this thing right now, or if you don't reach out to touch me so I can touch you back, I ain't gonna make it. This woman knew she would die. And some of us knew, no, right now, some situation where we stay in them any longer, it's killing us. And here's the sad thing about it. A lot of us don't recognize the symptoms of death at first. We don't recognize when stuff first starts killing you. Because sometimes it's a slow death, sometimes it's a slow killing, but it's killing and it's dying nonetheless. That is why my Lord has said to tell us that He is coming. Not only that you may have life, remember message, but that you may have it more. See, some of the things we live, we ain't living. We we think we existed. We walk around him just a shell of you. You only know how God sees you and want you to be. Not under bondage of any kind. So that not so that's for you to have a party, not for you to have a good time, but so you can be at a place in your life where you can fulfill whatever he needs you to do for his goal. You can't serve the Lord with always got stuff on your mind. You can't pray right. Folks have got your marriage all week long. Now you want to go and pray. You can't concentrate to pray right. Because what they said you, it just shook you up. Your mind ain't gonna pray. You try to go, but your mind drifts, your heart drifts. Time to pray, can't stay focused because the cares and the problems of the world, the problems of life, they killing you, they distracting you, they hindering you. And all you need to do is realize, Lord, I need to I need to go touch Jesus. I need to touch him. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace. We need mercy and grace. To help, but we need help in time of need. We also talked about on last Sunday that you're gonna have to get yourself in a frame of mind that you need to seek out a knowledge of who Jesus is. Knowledge means you're gonna have to really know who Jesus is. See, a lot of us rhyme on saying because we know, we go to church, I know Jesus, because they say the name Jesus. Saying the name Jesus don't mean you know Jesus. Saying the name God don't mean you know God. You have to have a knowledge of Jesus, and that knowledge comes when you spend time with Jesus. Spend time with him in the word. Spend time with him meditate and just sit down and let listen to the Spirit talk to you. Spend time with him in prayer. Spend time, spend time with the Holy Ghost now. Because the Holy Ghost is all you're gonna talk about. Sitting in front of the midst of the Holy Ghost, all you're gonna talk about is Jesus. All you're gonna talk about is the Lord. All you're gonna talk about is what the word says. And then you listen and then you receive it, you will develop a knowledge of who Jesus is. These men, the Bible said, and when the men of that place had knowledge of him. So you ain't gonna seek Jesus if you ain't got no knowledge of him. You ain't gonna seek Jesus if you don't know what he's able to do for you. You're gonna keep seeking what you've been seeking, and spending your mind where you've been spending your money and losing. But when they, the Bible said, when the men of that place had knowledge of him, do you have a knowledge of him? Him means Jesus. Do we have a knowledge of who Jesus really is? And you don't even ask, they don't have to ask me. You can ask yourself whenever you get in this digital table, whenever you get faced with a situation, do your mind automatically tell you to go to Jesus? Oh, seek out, let me call up all these folks I know and talk to them about. Or do you go to Jesus? Because see, one thing I learned a long time ago, some things you're gonna deal with in this life, ain't no need to go into nobody, tell no human being about it, so then they can help you. Oh, they can listen. Well, see, the Bible says like I just said helping the time of need. When you're in a time of need, I don't need nobody just to listen. I need something done. I need something to go somebody not only when I hear they hear me, they can do something about it. When they had knowledge of him, they sent out into all the country round about and brought unto him all that were diseased and besought him that they might only touch. All they want to do, Lord, if I can just touch him. See, when you know who Jesus is, you know that if you just can just get to him, then you can touch him. See this thing about an album when you go to the throne of grace? You go in there to touch Jesus. See, down because of what he did on this special day, died on the cross, he fixed an arm when we can touch him in spirit. He fixed an album, we can touch him by faith. And by touching him by faith and spirit, he don't have to just appear materialized before us, just knowing by faith he hears me. Because that's just the confidence I got, because the book tells me that when I ask anything according, he heareth me. When I'm in his presence and I'm seeking him out by faith, I know by faith this don't please him because without faith, it's impossible. Without faith, any of you come here, you he said, if you come and I come and faith, you come and die. The book said, Don't let that man think he's gonna get nothing from me. You come and down him, you ain't gonna get it. If you come wishing, wash it. If you come wavering, you ain't getting nothing. Oh, but if you come in faith, um this woman came in faith. I don't, you know why I know she had faith? Because she was supposed to be in a crowd of people nowhere. If you know the law. I won't get too deep in that, but according to the law, she in her condition, she wasn't gonna be around nobody. The book said, go read the mystic. Read the law. She actually both been in the present people for seven days if she had a normal. You feel what I'm talking about? Seven days, she was a woman's considered unclean. But because she had this ongoing her that turned into a disease. A sickness, an illness. And it was ongoing for her for 12 years. She was never supposed to come around. But see, here's the thing about it. When you step out on faith and you know what you need from the Lord, you will ignore all the things the laws, what people say you can't do, and what people say ain't gonna happen. Any of you bought the master. See, you you go, you, you, you ignore all that, you push all of that because your need and what you need, I'm dying. I'm not gonna still be down because the law said, or something, people say I can't. I need to trust Jesus. And if I get in trouble, let me get in trouble. Well, what that F. No, else will come thrown off too. If I perish, let me perish. Because they focus, let me talk about hanging there, Mona Cat, and that's all that's talking about doing my thing, so everybody else combined up with you. I tell you what, because Monica, y'all fast. I said, If we go fast, me and my hand, we gonna fast up in fact. Because if then I got to go to the king, you ain't gonna go to the king, Esther. But that's just hold up. I know, but you still can't go to the chain like that. You have to give appointment. What if I pay it? You know, let me pay for it. I can't go talk to them with a book saying the law and regulations and policy. I ain't gonna come for that. I'm dying. And I need help. And I got to know that. So if I'm gonna die anyway, let me die coming to find Jesus. Let me die trying to get to the law. I know the law said, and I'm just not out here trying to just be doing the law, but I'm dying. And I've been bleeding for 12 years. Some got to give, or I'm not gonna be here for the other twelve. When they never had a knowledge of who Jesus was. This woman had a knowledge, these men have a knowledge. You and I need to have a knowledge. So when we need him, we can go to him. Only if they can just, they only want to just not get to him just disturbing, bothering. If they was they said only to touch it. The hymn of his God. And as many, isn't it? As many as touched, as many as he touched, the books that were made perfectly whole. I read that, I've been saying, Lord, many mean a lot. So I'm saying how many folk they were, but then again, whole say that means that don't matter, but as many as touched him with faith, the book just said they were all made perfectly whole. See, you can't draw all the virtue out of Jesus. You can't draw all the blessings out of Jesus as many times as you need him, and some of us done needed him many times in our lives because some of us have some lives. We don't have some stuff come up in our lives. But do you not know? Whatever you done went through, your situations, your circumstances, your problems, ain't gonna never outnumber or outdoor or overtake the virtue that Jesus has that he will bestow on your behalf. If you just trust him, if you just reach out to him. Then there was his time. The parents, there were some parents wanting Jesus to touch their children. And they brought them. The book said they brought them so Jesus could touch them. Because them decided again, because they they slow. They start fussing at the parents. Oh, don't bring them child them children around here around Jesus. This Jesus, this a master. But if you ought to read that, the book gonna say Jesus was very displeased with them. And he said, uh, suffer the little children to come under me. Let me read a little, let me read a little thing. I got something to say about y'all and y'all children. And they brought young children to him that he should touch them. This ain't that touch, and his disciples rebuked those that brought them, rebuking each children's mom and daddy running in. You can't just stop these folks from bringing their children to the line. Because see, a lot of people don't understand the correlation, and Jesus trying to tell us there's a correlation between the innocence of a child and the kingdom of God. We don't understand that. Let me see if he can tell you. But when Jesus saw it, this is about he was much displeased. Y'all messing up, you don't rebuke these folks trying to bring their children to me. They chill, all their children need to come to Jesus. All y'all children need to come to Jesus, all our children need to come to the Lord. He was displeased and said unto them, suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not. Don't worry, don't stop them. For of such, listen, he said, this is a mystery, right? There's a message in there. He didn't give it to me, but I know it's something in there. He said, For of such is the kingdom of God. Kingdom of God and children. Kingdom of God is something in that. He's gonna get to me. Let me tell y'all something about y'all children. One of the best legacies that we can leave to our children, that we can leave to our grandchildren, great-grandchildren, children we done doctor, children that we just call our children. It's to teach them how to be able to go and touch the Lord when they need to touch the Lord. See, we we teach them how to touch the touch screen on the phones and the laptops. We teach them how to touch the remote and turn the channel. But I'm telling you, you doing your children a disservice. If you don't teach them, they need to touch the Lord because you and I cannot be everywhere our children are. I don't care if they're grown lines on, they somewhere that you can't get to them. If something happened right now, you couldn't get there, get there lightning quick. But see, if you have taught them how to touch Jesus, if you done taught them how to praise, if you done taught them how to lean and depend on it, if you place in them, but see, you can't place in them what you ain't got in you. If you don't know how to touch him, how you gonna teach them how to touch him? And how you gonna teach them how to put themselves in the position that Jesus wants to touch them? See, they bring them to touch for him to touch them. See, they drive them to Jesus so he can touch them, but how you taught them how to touch him back? Do your children know how to pray? Do they understand who Jesus is? When they groan and gone and leave the house, will they remember how daddy taught me how to pray when I got in trouble? Because it's a mad, bad, mean evil of the world out there. I'll let it tell you, let me give you a heads up. It's getting more wickeder and wickeder from every generation to come. Now we thought things were bad in our generation, but some of us live to see times unchanged and say, ooh, we this didn't happen when we come up. But we are living to see what is coming to pass that's gonna affect our children, our grandchildren, great-grandchildren. And I'm here to tell you, because Jesus is the same today, yesterday and more. This same Jesus is gonna have enough virtue that he had to help us in our generation, but his virtue is still gonna be just as potent and just as strong to help them in their generation if we but teach them how to touch the Lord. I know they can touch it, they're touching touch screen. I know they can touch it, they're touching each other. Being sad and madness, I know they can touch, but see, teach them how to place that touch where it needs to be touched. Touch the Lord. Suffer little children to come under me. He won't come to me because children don't need I'm here to tell you. I dare say that we're in a generation that children almost need Jesus. We all need him, but I think sometimes they need him more than we do. That's wrong, folks. There's some stuff out there that's attacking children, y'all, this trafficking, this all this pedophile and predator stuff. Children are aggressive. They ain't after us like that now. They don't want us, but they want our children. They want our young. And you know who's behind all that. The enemy trying to destroy the very thing that is such as the kingdom of God that God has placed in our youth. And we should not teach them and preparing them what they need to know when it comes to touching the Lord. And you think they're gonna be ready for that world right there? You fooling yourself. You might want to keep it at the house. Because if we don't teach them how to touch the Lord, and see here's the thing about cheering. Cheering is cheering, we all know cheering before. We hard head. It goes in one air, go out the other. We don't hear what you say. I hear your mama, I ain't he. I hear you, dad, but I ain't he. But I'm gonna tell you what's effective more than the words that you will ever say. Children pay attention to what you do. Children pay attention to how you live. They watching how you live, mama. They watching how you live, daddy. They watching how you live, I see. I hear what you're saying, but what's more effective is they if they see, do they ever see you on your knee? Do they ever see you reading your Bible? Do they ever see you calling up a time, grandma near? They could be in the kitchen and singing. Big mom, you won't be cooking, but they sing it while they cook. Those spiritual hymns. They get up in the morning, thank the Lord, go to bed, thank you, Lord. But do our children ever see us engaged in a relationship with the Lord? Because you can your mind's gonna say a whole lot of things. I don't blame them either. What do why do I see you living what you're trying to make me live? Mom, you're telling me not to cuss. But I'm hearing you cuss before so I don't find them. See how you done destroyed your witness? And even drain cussing. See, there's some words you can say that can do just as much damage, but they ain't cuss words. There's certain words you can choose. They ain't no cuss word, but it's ugly. And you know, cheering ain't stopped being nose. They always somewhere there. That's why the old folks said, get out of grown for business, get listening to grown for conversation. They're always listening to nose itself. But see, if they don't listen, if they don't see me, they don't see me living the life that I want them to live because they're growing up every day, they listen, one thing that don't say babies forever, children don't say babies forever. Being a baby is just a fraction of their lifespan. But see, you're gonna have to teach them something. You're gonna have to instill something in them. And the best, and those all kinds of things about life we got to still live, but I'm just saying the best thing to instill in them is teach them how to touch Jesus. Because, see, when they're in trouble in New York, and they call you, Mama, I'm in trouble, I don't want to do that. But if you don't tell them how to get on their knees and pray, or better yet, they know if I call mama, she'll touch and agree with me. Daddy, he'll touch and agree, we'll pray with a phone. Because I know they want to be here, but they can't get here licking the split like lightning. But prayer. And the one you pray to, the one you touching, he can be right there. You can send Jesus. Maybe you're in trouble. I say, I'm sending Jesus right now. Because I'm praying, because I know when I pray to him.
unknownHallelujah.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonLook at this, my child that they're in trouble, and I'm a thousand miles away. But I know if I pray according to the wind, I know you're not already hear me, so I know whatever you're gonna answer my petition. Because I trust you, Lord, because your spirit has taught me how to touch you. When I need to touch you, I know where to find you at. And if I touch you and ask you to go there in New York and touch my child, we both can go to sleep and rest tonight because we don't put our faith in the Lord. Man is gonna be alright, Jesus there. Call on him, touch him! What if you ain't told him that? Hallelujah. And the disciples said unto him, God said the multitude, they throng in you and say, Thou, who touched me? Because the disciples, like so many of us, only have a knowledge of physical touch. See, we wrote the book on physical touch, and some of the folks we done touched their lives we shouldn't have never even touched. I'm gonna tell you the truth. A lot of folks I wish I never touched. I'm talking about physical touch. Crazy and throw it off. And if you ain't careful, this is a whole nother message. Don't you know spirits can be transferred just by touching folks? That you ain't supposed to be touching, and now it's too late because now you wish you had not never touched them and wish they had never touched you. But because we slow and we ignorant in the knowledge of what we're supposed to have knowledge in, because if we had a knowledge of the spiritual, we understand that. We say, Oh no, but that's all right. You talk right there, you ain't got this. Don't walk up on me, you ain't got this. I mean no more, but see, I know something you don't know, and I know how you live, and how you live is a testimony. You can tell by the way people live what kind of spirit, some of the spirits in them. You might not know all the spirits in them, but you can tell about what stuff they do. You got some spirit that I don't need touching me, interfering with my life. Because spirits can jump off of read your Bible and jump out of one person, jump on you. And you be wondering why you walk around looking crazy and stupid. You know who you were around yesterday. They must have touched you. Because you're acting just like them. You better be careful, y'all. That's why you need to watch who don't let anybody touch your child either. You know, children ain't just friendly, they don't know no bell, they just they don't know who not to live to because they're innocent. But if you were the crown, we supposed to know. I hope nobody named Johnny. Whatever they name is Ray Ray, whatever, don't let Ray Ray touch you. Shadiqa, no. Well, they live like the devil. I'm just saying, y'all. He said, Who touched me? And he looked around about to see her who had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trimming, because she knows she wasn't supposed to be there, no way. That's why she was fearing and trimming with these folks. They could have, you know, back then they picked up rocks and they'll stone you right there where you stood. Stone you till you were dead. That was in the law. That's why she was fearing to trim, but she she was dying, y'all. She she couldn't help what the law said no more. When you get desperate enough and realize I need to get to Jesus, I need to get something done because I'm in trouble. You see, some of us ain't been in that kind of trouble. Whereas do or die, and something got to be done, not tomorrow, but right now. You'll go over what said not to do, what you're not supposed to, and you ain't know all of that because you don't got in a desperate situation. She was feared at truth, knowing what was done in her. She knew she had been touched, she knew she had been healed. She came and fell down before him and told him all the truth. Lord, it was me. It was me. I ain't gonna lie to you, it was me. I know I'm gonna be healed, but I gotta tell you, I felt when I touched you, I was healed. I finally, after 12 years, see some of us until you done been through something for years, you ain't gonna stand this now. Some of them been in fight that lasted for years, some of us have been in suffering that lasted for years, and you right now committed to the very moment that you got your delivery, and you ready, you got a testimony. She told Jesus everything. She told him the truth. It was me. I touched you because I needed something that you got. Well, I like what Jesus said. He didn't rebuke her because that ain't Jesus. That ain't what the high priest does. She said, Dog, thy faith. See what your faith did this. Because you believed in me. I'm not gonna rebuke you for believing in me. I'm not gonna rebuke you for stepping out on faith. I'm not gonna rebuke you because you went against the law. Your faith in me. See, Jesus, we try to say, No, Jesus is above the law. Jesus is above policy and procedure, Jesus is above city ordinance and regulations. When you put faith in him, he said, Darwin, thy faith has made the whole of thy plague. What was plaguing your life? See what, see, some of us lives plagues. Y'all won't tell it, but I'll tell you. Some of our lives have been plagued with stuff for a while. And we need a deliverance. I'm gonna tell you this morning how to get it. If you just touch Jesus. That's why he's saying who touched me. But he's saying, who touched me? Because whoever it was that touched me, I felt some faith. Whoever it was that touched me, I felt the virtue go out of me. Whoever it is that touched me just got what they needed. What? I just don't know who it was who just got what they needed. Because I'm gonna tell them, like I told them this morning, daughter, son, whoever it is, your faith. Because that faith. Why you got what you wanted? Why you done been made whole? Why you done been made perfectly well? It's because your faith. Why you don't feel pressure? Why you don't feel stress? Why you don't feel this no more? Because your faith done delivered you because it was plaguing you. Come on, about to go crazy now, but see, because it's plagued. Our mind's been plagued, our hearts have been plagued. But Jesus said, Jesus, I can really plague. I'll regulate your mind. Let me tell you something about this. I move on. I'm telling you something. When God, when Jesus regulates your mind, from that point on, you ain't got to worry about nothing plaguing your mind ever no more. Oh, people are gonna try, but see, because you don't been touched by the mind regulator. No plague that comes near your dwelling, no plague that comes near your mind that the devil is gonna try. I played it once, I can play it again. No, not if they're gonna touch Jesus. Not that Jesus is gonna touch them. Try, go ahead. I tell you what, go ahead, don't try. Let me go and show you that you're a liar and you're the father of them. Because I don't touch Jesus, and it's because he said I've been delivered of my plague. And because I believe what he said, my faith is gonna remain in him. Jesus. When he was touched. He allowed him touched. He said, somebody come touch me. Have Jesus ever said that to you when you touch him? Can he say that you have ever touched him? You'd be surprised and you'll be shocked as how many of us have not truly touched Jesus and we've been saved 12 or more years along, like you won't. Twelve years. We don't been 12 years been Jesus and ain't never touched him. I'm talking about spiritual touch. You can sometimes feel that spiritual touch when you praise. You can sometimes feel that spiritual touch when you worship. You can, like me, you can sometimes feel that touch when you round the house just singing to yourself. When it don't matter if you're off key. But it's fact that it's coming from your heart. And you can feel a touch in the anointing and the connection that you have with the Lord. That you grow to recognize that touch and you grow to and develop a knowledge of that touch. So now you know all I got, this is all I got to do to touch it. I didn't know what this is. I didn't know it was just this simplicity of this. Was this all I all I do was just go to a place, a spiritual place in him. And he will be ready to not only is he ready to touch me, but he'd be able to let me touch him as much as I wanted to. He said, Somebody touch me. For I perceive the virtue that's gone out of me. And it's this part here. Now all the gospel wrote about this, but this part here, Luke. You read this story than Matthew, you read it, Mark. The only thing you ain't gonna find it, John. He didn't, for John is a whole other different kind of writing, if you understand John's writing. But Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Matthew, Mark, and Luke wrote about this particular story. But Luke says, I like Luke because he always says stuff in a little more different way. I like this. He says, and when the woman saw that she was not here, trying to be here because I ain't hope in this crowd. This is what it says. She came trembling and falling down before him. This is for it again right here. The Bible said, She declared, she began to testify and tell him, she declared unto him before all, for everybody. The people, before all the people, for what cause, here it is, for what cause she had tested. Listen at this. See, when you have a reason for touching the Lord, you don't mind telling folks that it's because of this that I had to touch. The Bible says he declared before all the people. This is why I come through this crowd, knowing I had this interval, this is why I know I want to move here, but that was a call and a reason why. And this is the call that I need to touch easy because I needed something from the Lord. And I'm telling you, mother, yeah, I had this book. I know I want to move in here, but I was in trouble. See, that wasn't gonna call me till we get in trouble. That's sad that we have to wait till we get in trouble to call on it, but they feel like at least you called on it. And some of us, it's gonna be that when we get in a certain type of trouble, then our eye, that's gonna have my eyes to come open. Because some of us got to be shocked into knowing you've got to have faith in God. And trouble got a way of really showing you this thing is real. I've been sucking and jobing and playing around with, but now that I know what it means to be in a desperate situation, and when my life is online, see when your life is gonna lie, we can just let them take you down now. Let them take your child down. Let them take you for the loser you got. And if you get rid of it, you got time to get time to breathe, and you got time to go around. I need a solution, I need an answer. And this is the call that I saw I Jesus. My cause was I was in trouble. My cause was I would die. My cause was I don't run out of money. Don't let the doctor want to see me. Don't nobody else want to talk to me because they don't want to come around me, because they think I'm unclean, don't want to don't sympathize with me. All I got left, and it's gonna be when all you got left is Jesus. Because Jesus accepts you no matter what state you're in. You can touch me, even though you got issue of blood. You can touch me though you got a plague in your life. You can touch me through all your bills, you don't got your third notice. All your deaths, all your frigority, being free, cobalt, empty and bell. You can see, see, see he's gonna turn nobody away. Come on now, go back to the scriptures say, as many as touched him, they was made perfect whole. And perfect whole don't always mean from a sickness. Perfect the whole could be from debt, perfect the whole can be financial troubles, perfect the whole can be from hard-headed children. They just they don't got whether they just mind everything I do not. I don't have to throw a shoe at them. Don't jump in Jesus can't do it. Don't you have the law can't do it? So I was one of them children. God bless. Mama gone. Well, mama didn't play. I remember time I was a little boy. Oh yeah, I told nobody. I did not want to take that woman. Wasn't gonna take that. So I thought. Don't y'all tell nobody. My mama pulled out a knife. Ruby did that. I ain't told nobody because something you forget, but they come back too. My mom pulled out a knife and unfolded it. And she rubbed it across my forehead. Scared me to death. Ask me, did I let her get that footprint? I don't know what she's gonna do. Not she wasn't gonna cut, but you know, some people you can just put the fear in them, make them thank you. Don't do something, but you ain't gonna do it. But you she had me at a time of mine. I thought she would, but she never did. She never did cut. But the fear now, see, sometimes you need some physical shows illustrations. You gotta show the children's illustrations. Sometimes you gotta put in an illustration of a knife or illustration of the to put the fear in them. I didn't take no whooping. I didn't know my mama told her to knife. But see, y'all don't know though. She's gone. I said, Okay, hold that again. So that was her younger days. Told you when he had in. Yeah, it works. But see, sometimes God, sometimes sometimes God's gonna have to show us illustration when we done got to the point where all we got left is to call on Jesus. But can see the trouble in, it done illustrate to us. See, see, some of us in our in our head, without a roof over my head, we're almost saved. Without food in the house, how we gonna eat? And you get them peace of mind, if we ain't eating, we about to die. And God has to show you illustrations like that. But see, it's not to scare you in a sense or to cause your demise, but it's cause it's done to push you or give you toward Jesus so that you will touch him. And not just touch him for that moment of desperation, but teach you that from now on, whenever you go through anything, you know now how to touch Jesus. And see, some of us, there are lessons we have learned in life, we ain't never forgotten. Trust me on this in one thing. There's some lessons that God will teach you. And some of y'all he ain't gonna teach but one time, but you ain't gonna never forget it. Now, something he wants to get you again and again, but there are some things, like when he told me, he had to show me this dream, this vision no more. When he told me he had an axe, God told me he got an axe. And he told me to script the axe is laid at the root of the tree. He had showed me that no more. Because when God gets an axe, I know he can do it. That he ain't just giving me no more. But see, if you don't get the living right and do what I called you to do, I can cut you out, remove you, and put something else by the else in your spot. Because like Jesus, oh, and why he told Jesus about that fig tree, it ain't doing nothing but taking up space in the ground. It ain't producing no fruit, it ain't doing nothing for me. It ain't mean glory for I can't come here and get no glory out of the fruit. So why keep letting it take up room on the ground? I can tear that up, chop it down, and plus somebody else that's gonna do what I think. But here comes Jesus. Give me one more year. Let me work with you. Let me intercede for him, Lord. Let me hit, let me, let me see. Let me put some fertilizer around, let me dun around it. Let me give me another year to work with. Give another chance, Lord. See it, see how you gonna love Jesus? Because right now, if they was to show you the books, the interceding books, about how many times Jesus interceded on your behalf since you've been up there on the right hand father, it'll probably scare you. But just know he up there to see you, and just know it's done been some interceding on all our behaviours. If he had not been interceding for us, some of us wouldn't be here that long we've done been here. We'd have done been cut down. But see, he done taught us how to touch him.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, Lord.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonWho touched me? Are we touching Jesus? She said, for what cause, she let him know for what cause she had touched him. I touched him because I was dying, because I was in trouble, because I had nothing else left. Don't have no money, don't have no medicine, don't have nothing to help fix this ailment I got. But I heard somebody telling them that they had just been blind, they just got their sight back, they just been delivered. And if he done it for them, see how faith comes? By hearing. See, faith comes by hearing the word of God, but let me tell you something else how faith comes. Faith can come also by hearing somebody else's testimony about what God has done in your life. Let somebody tell about the goodness of God and you hear, you'll start believing. Oh, wait, God did that for you. Now he done that for you, and he ain't no respect to personal. I got to believe that he's able to do it for me. So she heard. After all the doctrine, she heard. About all the folks, you better stay in the house then. She heard, but she knew the only way. See, the thing about getting what you need from the Lord is you've got to seek him in. You've got your faith gonna cause you to go to where he is. What if I say, seek me while I can be found? Those that seek me early, they gonna find me. She knew she had to go to where he was. And she found him. And she found him, not caring about the big crowd, but she was able to. I don't want to just disrupt him. If I can just touch the just the hem of his garden, I'm gonna let you go. Know this. That the anointing of God was not only on Jesus. And when he said the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, but it was also in the clothes that he wore. Do you not know? Let you know. That Paul in his ministry, the Bible said they took clothes that he had worn, aprons and handkerchiefs that were anointed, and gave them to the people, and that was enough to heal some people. The Bible said it healed them, and the Bible says it cast out devils out of them. The anointing of God is powerful, and if you're gonna learn how to get through this life, you better learn how to touch Jesus. Have you touched him today? Have you touched him this week? If you have not touched him, I do not know how to touch him. Seek him. And when you seek him, you find him, touch him, so he can deliver you from whatever it is that's plaguing your life. Father God, we thank you for your word today. I pray, Lord, that your word has delivered. I pray also, Lord, that your word has increased the faith in the minds and in the spirit of your people. Let your word go forth and the seed be planted. I rebuke the enemy if he tried to snatch it away from me, but that it may germinate on good ground. That your people may live thereby from this day forward. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.
