Bearing Witness To The Truth Podcast
This podcast is made available in the hopes that those seeking to know the truth of God's word as he intended it to be taught and understood. I have submitted myself to the guidance and obedience to the Holy Ghost and his teachings of God's word to my spirit, that I may bring a level of knowledge, understanding and awareness to all that seek to know the Lord more abundantly through his word.

Many of us lack what is real peace, in our lives. The real peace of which many of us wish that we had, can only come from God. He is the only one who can give us the peace which passes all human understanding.
As a witness, I can tell you, that once you have it and experience it, you will guard it and hold on to it for the rest of your life. It is indeed precious, and so wonderful that just to have a piece of it, is enough to calm and settle your whole life.
I want you to really enjoy this series, in a spiritual way.
We in for a blessing this morning because the Lord has given me a word that I believe not only is it gonna be good, but it is needed and is necessary to be said, to be talked about, to be for us to be made aware of. Because this is an area right here I see, and and you all will be able to agree with that we need this, and because a lot of us don't have this, it's the reason why a lot of our lives are in a sense upside down, sideways, and why we're so stressed out, why we are so confused, and why a lot of things we allow to trouble us. So this morning, and don't, and I already know I'm not gonna rush this one. So I'm already kind of preparing myself to accept the fact that this is probably gonna be a part two to this part, this uh particular message. Uh and yet again, let me say this. I still apologize for last Sunday uh for canceling Sunday conference line services. But let me just say this. I'm the type of pastor, type of man of God, that I'm very serious about this life I live. And I'm and and that being said, I'm very serious about the word of God, and I rely on his spirit to rest upon me. Hallelujah. Week to week, when it comes to me uh giving y'all the word of God, and I don't like to just pick something out and put it together and throw it together just so I can have something to say on Sunday morning. I have learned to trust the Holy Ghost, and it is He that I depend on through week to put something in my spirit or lead me to an area of the word of which the Lord wants me to break the bread of with his people, and sometimes you got to accept the fact the Holy Ghost, you don't control him, and nothing solid was placed in my spirit for last Sunday to give you all. Now y'all know I'm in the word all the time, and I could have easily spoke on anything, but it wouldn't have been what I knew in my spirit the Lord had led me to say. And I sat up all night that night, I mean from four, five, three, six in the morning, waiting to hear from the Lord, waiting to hear if he would put something in my spirit that would be satisfactory for him. But nothing never came that my spirit, I can tell you what my spirit was agreeing with. So the closer it got to Sunday morning services, I I had nothing from the Lord. And I wasn't gonna just give y'all anything. I'm just not like that. So that is one of the reasons why I canceled until I hear from the Lord. And it could have been the Lord just wanted me to give me a break. Because you don't know what it's like to have to commit yourself to time and study and research and prayer and fasting for every Sunday, to have something for y'all every Sunday. It's it's I can't explain the commitment, dedication you have to have in order to do that. Um, but anyway, that being said, I got something very powerful this morning that's gonna take for the next two Sundays. Let's start off, let's get into the word. Let's get into the word because I don't want to behold too long because I know there's already gonna be a part two to this particular series. We all are aware and we all know that when Jesus left him, when he left the earth, he left many things for the saints of God to be blessed with in his absence because he knew he was going back to the father. We know that he prayed that the father would send us another comfort. That was the Holy Ghost. He prayed, he made sure we were gonna be took care of spiritually in his absence. That's one thing he left. He also left us with access through him to come into the presence of the father. He was the mediator. Now, because of what he had done, we could go to the father through him. He left us with the power of his blood. Thank you, Jesus. He left us with the ability to become one with the father and the son. That oneness that he prayed about. If you don't want to read about that, read John, St. John, the 17th chapter. You'll hear about the oneness that Jesus prayed that we will have with the Father and the Son. And so much more, so much more, and many other things. I just want to let you know he left a lot of things to us. But I'm going to pick out one thing that he left for us that too many people in the church world look over. But this one thing is such a precious gift. We need it, especially those of us who lived in the last days. We should love need it. But see, one thing, hallelujah, one thing that he left us. Even though it's a gift, even though Jesus Himself left it for us, very few people have it. Oh, they talk about it, but they don't really have it. This being, this is what I'm talking about this morning, this is what we're gonna be talking about this morning. This being the peace which passes all understanding. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The peace which passes all understanding. Yes, there is a peace which passes all human understanding. I don't care how you do it or try to do it, understand it with your mind, it ain't gonna never happen. Because if this piece that I've been talking about this morning, the real peace, I ain't talking about this stuff that comes out of the world. That ain't real peace. This piece I'm gonna talk about this morning, it does not come from, nor can it be understood with human understanding. See, most people never have seen it, they ain't never seen it in somebody else's life, and most people don't even know that it even exists. See, a whole lot of people don't know that a thousand dollar bill exists, that the U.S. government makes a thousand dollar bills. Yes, they do. But how many of us have ever seen one? Unless it's I mean in a place in person in your hand, Beatrice Franklin. In this generation, in which all we all live, whether we realize it or not, having peace in our lives. Hear me, hear me this morning. Having peace in our lives is more important than having the greatest of all riches, and much more needed than prosperity or popularity. This morning's message: a peace of peace, a peace of the Lord's peace. Just if you get a piece of this peace, you never be the same. See if we continue to live in today's world, we will come to know. Hallelujah. Just keep living. We will come to know that there is more of a need for peace than seeking the rewards that the world has to offer us through having certain people in our lives and certain things in our lives. Because I'm gonna tell you something about certain people in your lives and certain things in your life could totally run your peace off or be a hindrance to your peace. But this morning's peace, that I'm gonna be talking about the peace that only can come from God, we're gonna learn what it means so that we who don't have it can get it. Because Jesus left it, it's here, and it is the spirit. This piece I'm talking about this morning, many definitions, but let me just give you a few. So you'll know when you when you sense the presence of it, you know you got it. There is a certain tranquility. Hallelujah. That tranquil doesn't mean when you have you at a point in your life, you don't let yourself, you have come, let me say like this: you have come free from all disturbances that try to disturb your life. Don't even bother, don't even let it bug. There's there's a quietness, a stillness, if you would, that settles over you. Even when your flesh wants to get angry, even when your flesh wants to get upset, the peace of God takes over. It's when you have you having undisturbed or unagitated spirit. Don't let you know, don't let them don't let them shake you. Don't let them disturb your your your mind, your heart, your peace. Nonviolent. Don't get mad and ready to fight everybody. And let me tell you like this: fighting ain't always just with physical hand. You don't fight with your mouth and saying word, ugly words. You'll be surprised how many people, because they don't have no peace. They are violent verbally. Especially the folks, the ones that's closest to them. This piece I'm talking about this morning, a peace, a peace is a blessing from God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When this peace rests upon you, hallelujah, there is a harmony. I know a lot of people don't know what I'm talking about, but that's why I'm taking my time with this one. Harmony. Everything about you works in harmony. Your body, your mind, and your spirit work together in harmony when the peace of God is in your life, and they take you to a place where your life supersedes earthly circumstances and problems. Because your mind, body, and your spirit are in harmony, they are in sync through the peace of God. Now I'm taking you right there. When you experience it, that's right there, is where you're gonna realize, and everybody else around gonna realize that that's that's gonna be hard for so many to understand. How can this be? I told you this to speech impact, it's all understanding how your body, mind, and spirit can be in harmony, be in seek with one another goes beyond human understanding, but it's clear as a bell when you look at it from the perspective of the spiritual this peace, hallelujah, that I'm talking to you about this morning, hallelujah. It brings with it a hope and a reassurance, and one thing a lot of us need today is we to be reassured that things are gonna be alright. We need the reassurance that our life and our living is not in vain. This peace of God brings a hope and a reassurance. Woo! Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord. That goes beyond, way beyond what this world knows. Hallelujah, thank you, or could ever know. See, when you tap into this peace of God, this reassures and this hope that we have in the harmony of our body, mind, and spirit that it's gonna take you beyond what you think you know, beyond what this world knows, or could ever know. Because it ain't gonna come from him. See, things that come from this world are limited in whatever it is they're able to do, but the things of God and the things of the spiritual are not limited by anything. You can have as much of it as you want. Let me say this again. It creates a stillness within you. It learned what I'm talking about. You could have a very, I mean, a category three storm going on in your life, but the peace of God brings with it such a stillness. That's what people think you're crazy. It brings such a stillness that the storm don't move you spiritually from where the peace of God has placed you. In other words, this peace, no matter how devastating the storm, no matter how vehemently they may blow against your life, no storm is able to move you from this peace that is in God, because the stillness that the peace brings to you in your life, it makes you where you will not be moved by anything that comes out of this world, by anybody that's in this world, by whatever problem that's manufactured in this world, this stillness, hallelujah. You know why? How yeah, you know why I can't move you because hallelujah, because this stillness is within you. I want you to understand what I'm talking about, because if Jesus is in you, this peace is in you. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, and hallelujah, hallelujah, and anything that comes from Jesus will speak just like Jesus. What I'm talking about when things come to try and disrupt your harmony, when things come and try to disrupt your stillness and that calmness that peace brings to your life, you will find peace talking like Jesus. Just as Jesus said, peace be still, the peace in you will tell your problem and your situation to be still. In the presence of the stillness of peace. Hallelujah. The peace of God, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. I mean in the very presence, this peace of God will be go face to face and toe to toe in the presence of hostility. Hallelujah. In the presence of harm and in the presence, the very presence, it'll be face to face with danger, and yet be still, undisturbed, unagitated. Others will think, well, how you ain't letting this bother you? How you ain't recognizing what's going on. It ain't that we don't recognize what's going on, but it's just we know that none of these things move us. When we now have possessed the peace of God, that's why you it passes all understanding. Because you ain't reacting like everybody else reacted today's situation. This is how a person supposed to react to a problem. This is how a person supposed to react to a situation because that's how everybody else does. Oh, hallelujah! But when you have a peace of God's peace, hallelujah, it will even the spirit that's working in you will even amaze you at what you can have through Christ Jesus, and it will amaze you that you have finally understood now the value of this gift that Jesus left you and I. One of the definitions that I'm giving you now about peace, one of the main ones that really moved me in knowledge is that when we tap into the purest the purest form of peace. See, this peace is so precious, but it has see we got to grow into this one to take him. There's the purest peace in its purest form, in its purest state, is this is when we no longer fight against God. Hallelujah. We just throw up both hands. We are knowingly and uncomfortable, don't realize what we're doing. This stuff we doing because we think we grown, don't realize it's an open admittance that we are bucking and kicking against God, which means you're fighting against God. That's why you ain't got no peace. That's why ain't no peace in your life. Because we don't realize just how much, if you ain't obeying what the word says, you're fighting against God. Ain't gonna be no peace then. Don't you know you can't have no peace with God, who is the God of peace when you're fighting against him? How he gonna give you peace when you fight to do right, to talk right. The purest form of this peace I'm talking about this morning is when we no longer fight against God. If you stop fighting against God and doing what's right, you'll begin to open the door for his peace to come in your life. And then his spirit, then that will give his spirit opening to be at peace within us. That's the purest form. When you see a person who possess peace, they don't stop fighting against God. Stop fighting against the word, what they don't want to hear. Stop being a hypocrite. Stop being disobedient. How are you gonna have the peace of God when you disobedi? How many of us have been hard-headed to God just this week? But we won't do and we wonder why we don't have no peace. You ain't gonna never have. When you realize when you finally tap into and discover this piece of God, I want you when you get it, hold on to it so tight, tighter than anybody you ever held on to. Tighter than that. And don't never, when you get it, don't never let it go. Because I don't know a situation in my life where I don't need to have peace. If you I tell you what, I tell you what. Do you deal with people? I always need to say as I see, if you in this world are having to deal with people, you you gonna need peace. I didn't tell you. If you deal with stressful situations, you gonna need this peace. If you got hard-headed children and stubborn grandchildren, you gonna need this peace. If you got sold-off relatives and in-laws, you gonna need peace. If you in a marriage that ain't worth a quality, you're gonna need this peace, and I don't mean no harm. You're gonna need peace. Even if you ain't got no bad marriage, even in a good marriage, it ain't no perfect marriage. You're gonna need some peace. See, I'm telling you something about this on peace of God. This peace will prove to be, hallelujah, when you realize just how bad you need it, it's gonna prove to you that it is a much needed anchor. Because when you if you deal with all this, there's some things I just put, them little show few things I made a list on just a while ago, just then, you're gonna need something to anchor your life down in times of chaos, in times of whirlwind, in times of this life disturbances, in times of life uncertainty, wickedness, threats, yeah. People still threaten one another. And misunderstandings. How many of us go through life that have just been totally misunderstood? Because people don't take the time to get to know you, they'll just assume misunderstanding, which will be brought up on us while all these things are gonna be brought up on us while we're in this world. Some of it already been brought up on us because some of us don't live long enough to experience some of these things. I encourage you, listen to me this morning. I encourage you, do this for me. I encourage you to follow with me this morning. As I take my time, hallelujah, hallelujah, in leading us to the knowledge of this peace. This peace that's that's past all understanding. Go with me. Let me let me and let me lead us to this. See, when you obtain this knowledge, knowledge is power. When you have the knowledge of a thing, it can bless you. And I want to lead us to the knowledge of this peace and allowing it to rest up on us spiritually through Christ. I want us to get this knowledge so much when you get it, I want you to just let it rest up on you. Okay, now let us listen to Jesus in the word of God this morning. Foundation scripture, foundation scripture, Saint John chapter 14, one verse, verse 27.
unknownSt.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonJohn 14, 27. This was a time Jesus was gonna, he wasn't gonna be here too much more long on the earth at this place in time that he was sitting down talking to uh his disciples. And in St. John 14, 27, he says this peace I leave with you. Just hold it right there. Peace. I leave with you. Hallelujah. See, we don't find out this during the course of this this this series how it was that Jesus was able to leave us this peace. If I ever make, I don't know if I'll make the Isaiah this morning, but Isaiah is gonna tell you because he is the prince of peace. And being that he's the prince of peace, he can leave us some of his peace. Peace, he says, I leave with you. He says, My peace, here it is, it is my peace, I give unto you. It's a gift I'm giving you. And like I said, so many people don't realize just how valuable this gift that Jesus not only left it, but he gave it. Who you give to, Jesus? I give hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. I give unto you. I give it to you. I'm giving it to you. Hallelujah. But I need you understand something. I'm not giving it as the world gives. Hallelujah, hallelujah, so many of us have gone spiritually broke. Hear me, spiritually broke, I'm talking about investing ourselves trying to obtain peace out of the world, and all we have accomplished is become spiritually broke because what we looking for and what we really need, the world ain't no way they can get to you. They'll sell your imitation, but it don't last. The world ain't got the kind of peace we need. The world can't give us no stillness in our spirit, the world can't give us no harmony with our body, mind, and our spirit. That's why Jesus let you know. I'm not giving you like the world gives me. Hallelujah. Because see, what the world got to give you in the in the area of this of their artificial imitation piece, Jesus. No, that ain't gonna do you no good. That ain't gonna help you none. At all. Tell me somebody that's been helped by the peace that this this fake peace that the world got to offer. Nobody. Not as the world gives, he said, give I unto you. I believe I'm giving this. This I got ain't come, don't even come again. Peace I leave with you. I'm leaving a part of me. This Jesus tell the disciple, but it also applies to us this moment. I'm leaving something with a piece of me. I'm leaving it with you because I'm going back to the Father. I got to obey my father because I was only for being a certain amount of time, and that time might expire. But I can leave something just as good. Not only I'm gonna leave that's the father praise and send him back to the Holy Ghost, but I'm gonna leave you a piece of me in the form of my teeth. Because see, just like I didn't let stuff disturb me while I was down here in the world, I didn't let the Pharisees disturb me, I didn't let them Sadsees get on my nerves, I let all them crowds and multitudes move me. I still had the stillness because I'm the Prince of Peace But since I go away, you're now gonna be faced with all that, and I got to leave, I wanna leave a piece of me with you. My peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. It's available to you. Why, why, Jesus? Because I don't want you to let your heart to be troubled. The rest of the verse says, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. I don't want you to be afraid because Jesus, being Jesus, he sees what's coming in our lives. Right now, Jesus knows what's coming up in our lives. So this Gi. Gave me two more months, left in the year. But Jesus already knows where we're gonna come up again, and he don't want our hearts to be troubled, and he don't want us to be afraid by anything. What you saying then, Jesus? I'm saying with my peace, if you let my peace into your life that I'm giving unto you, your heart won't be troubled, and you will not be afraid. Now I know that to be true because when I first tapped into this piece, y'all, it amazed me how I no longer let certain things bother me. How certain things didn't shake me up and bring or try to bring fear in me. Let me let me say this here. Let me say this. Let me say this right here. Because I want us to understand how Jesus, how the Lord operates, when you hear me on this, you ain't got to believe me, but okay, but search search your spirit and pray and ask God to say you pass this and telling me the truth. This I want to tell you when you really earnestly begin to seek this peace, this gift that Jesus has left for us, and that Jesus has given unto us and made available to us. I want to show you and prepare you for what's gonna happen. Now, it ain't gonna happen the same way it happened in somebody else's life, and what happened in your life ain't gonna happen the same way for others. But but this is gonna be you're gonna notice it. You may find yourself when you're seeking this peace, you may find yourself experiencing a barrage of many things that will keep you from having peace. Now, all that stuff ain't gonna be the devil. That's what I'm trying to get you to understand. All that stuff ain't gonna be the enemy. Jesus is so wise, and because this peace passes all understanding, even when it comes into your life gonna pass all understanding. You may, it may appear that you are under a barrage of attacks from every which away, and you may see that I know how in the world can I have peace or obtain peace with all this stuff going on. I thought peace was supposed to be still, I thought peace was supposed to bring the harmony. But see, that's that's what we we got a lack of spiritual understanding. Hallelujah, sometimes, hallelujah, it's gonna for some of us, let me say it like this. For some of us, I mean the real truth seekers, for some of us, it's gonna be when we got chaos going on everywhere in every aspect of our life. You it's gonna be when you're surrounded by five and six storms. And it's gonna appear that ain't no way I can have no peace. I get some of this stuff settled. It's not gonna be for you in the midst of all them storms. This is what we missed it at. We think when certain storms come into our lives, we're supposed to focus on every last one. Hear me this moment. I need y'all to hear me. But if you've got 15 storms going on in your life, let me tell you something about God. Not one of them does God want you to focus on so hard that your focus has gotten off of him. This is how God got this how this is how peace got to be be established in you. God got to get you to a point and keep letting stuff happen till you realize in the midst of all them storms, your focus stayed on him. And to get you there, he gotta have blessed, he has to allow certain things to keep happening, keep happening, till you finally stop getting pulling your hair out by the roof, screaming and howling and being agitated till you just get to a spot and be still and keep your focus on the Lord. I tell you what, you ain't gotta believe me. Let me let me give you some words. You look this up. Look this up now. Because, see, this was for the disciple, but it was but well, let me just let me give you something. Let me give you something. You remember when Jesus Nehem got in that boat in the Sea of Galilee. The disciples fell around the boat, you know, as it was traveling through the water. Jesus, let me tell you something about Jesus, and this is who you need to keep your focus on, right? In this whole story, Jesus got a pillar, went to the back of the boat, and took him a nap. Let me show let me show you why he the Prince of Peace. Now, while he's napping, a stone came up so bad that it was beginning to rock the boat. You see, so many of us let's let's see how situations rock our world. Not only did the storm begin to rock the boat, the waves that were slashing and splashing up against the boat was so high, a lot of the water got in the boat. And a lot of us, a lot of our situations up to sloshing so much around so much that it began to just overflood us with too much at one time. This is too overwhelming. I can't handle all this. I can't take no more stone because sloshing waves all over because you ain't got no peace. Now, let me show you the peace of God, how strong it is. All of that going on, all of that trauma, fear that we gon' drown, fear that the ship don't sink, fear that they're gonna take the house, fear that I ain't gonna have enough to pay to be in, fear and wearing, turning these shoes, closing the shelf, through all of that. Let me show you something about the power of peace. None of that woke Jesus up out of his sleep, out of his nap. Now, a lot of people may think, What Jesus slept that hard? That he didn't know all that was going on. Hallelujah. It was not that Jesus was sleeping that hard. It was the fact that Jesus had peace. And that's how you and I, if we ever tap into this peace, we can remain still and at rest. Jesus said, we'll let this disturb his rest. Ain't no storm ready to him. What do you need to be upset about and disturbed about? How many of us have led and have allowed things to disrupt our rest in him? Our calmness in him. Jesus stay asleep. I'm not gonna let no storm have the victory. I know this to be true because it wasn't the storm that woke Jesus up. They went and nudged him to get up. Not the storm, not the situation, not the threat we're gonna cut your lights off, not the threat that your husband says he's gonna leave you, wife gonna divorce you, children won't mind. It wasn't that. We should let things disturb us, but in the midst of all of that, that life has to throw at us, just like the situation in the ship in the water throws the situation that Jesus and disciples. Then they tried to be, they tried to be a little slick sly, and and I want to say they tried to be a little smart at it. Cares not that we perish. You back there sleeping, don't you realize what's going on? Don't you have people like that in your life? When they don't think you respond like they think you all respond to certain situations, you don't care about uh this bill need to be paid. You don't care about I'm not saying neglect none of that stuff, y'all. Don't get me wrong. But it's one thing, and a whole nother other thing, when you don't let it upset your peace, you're gonna say, Lord, I'm gonna work it out. I'm gonna do all I can to make it take care of it, but I can't let it move me. Jesus got up and showed his true self, and he was trying to show the disciples, and he's trying to still try to show us today. It ain't that I don't care that you pay, you don't care that we pair it. The vote about the same. Jesus? How do you gonna think and I'm here with you? You want us to think that me being Jesus and I'm in your life and I'm with you, that I'm gonna let you drown, that I'm gonna let you lose what I've done blessed you with? You say you saved, you say I'm in your life, and you think I'm that weak? You think I'm that powerless, and been taking care of you all these years that I'm gonna show change you now. I'm with y'all in this boat, and nothing's gonna happen to y'all, and I'm here with y'all. So Jesus showed him, had to show him who he was. He looked at the stones and all that, and just said, three words, just three simple words. Peace be still. And I'm telling you this morning, as we dive into this beautiful message, you're gonna have to let you and I are gonna have to let the peace in us be the stillness. Because see, that's one of the reasons why Jesus tells us right now, why he said, and we in St. John 14, 27, why he's saying, Peace I'll leave you, because he know the storm's coming. He knows the floods coming, he knows the earthquake's, he knows the problem's gonna rise. But even though I'm not him, I'm leaving a piece of me with you for you to use just like I used, so you can tell your situations to be still, and you'll be able to do that because a piece of me will be in the side of you for you to use it, and when we learn how to use this, we will begin to establish a lifestyle where this stuff don't move us. Yeah, we deal with it and we face it, but you can give the same, you can give the same problem to a person that got peace and a person that don't have peace. And the person that has peace will handle it a whole lot differently, without fear, without letting their hearts be troubled, without looking and focusing hard on the situation. My brothers and sisters, in order for us to truly receive the knowledge of this peace, of which our Lord has left us, we must become under the spiritual influence of his spiritual peace. Hallelujah. We should be letting ourselves be influenced by his spiritual peace. And stop letting ourselves, because we've done it for too long, stop letting ourselves be so influenced by what our circumstances and situations look like. Because as long as we're on this earth, they ain't gonna change. But you can change on the inside with the peace of God, and see, we can allow it to produce a tranquility. That's free. That means free, I just told you, free from all disturbances. Stuff don't disturb you. We will allow to produce a tranquility of the mind and the spirit of our being. Jesus leaves us with this peace because he knows that the times are coming, and many of those times are already here, now. Times of trouble, persecution, temptation, loneliness, and despair, and the such like minimal liking. The peace of our Lord is not of this world. See, so when you get it, know this one thing. You ain't gonna act like the world. Because what's done overshadowed you, and what has come into your life came from not of this world. So when they come into your life, you ain't gonna act like the world toward toward situations of the mind. You ain't gonna handle them the way you normally do. And see, we must stop thinking, we we got to stop thinking that we shall find it here. You ain't gonna find it here. Stop looking for what you need to come out of the world, stop looking for what you need to come out of people, stop looking for what you need to come out of certain abilities that you think you have done, and by doing this, I should get this in return. Stop thinking like that. It ain't nothing we can do. This is coming from Jesus. It ain't nothing people can do. Well, maybe if I move to another state, well, maybe if I got me another girlfriend, maybe if I got another hook, maybe if I put these children out, none of that is still gonna give you the peace that you desire. We must stop thinking that we shall find it here. We deceive ourselves. If we think in this manner, you ain't doing nothing but deceiving yourself. You should be looking to Jesus because it's got to come from him. We put ourselves in a state of foolishness and deception. If we look to find this peace in this world, and that's disrespectful to Jesus. Why are you looking for it to come out of the world when I told you it's coming from me? It's got to come from me. I told you this is my peace. I didn't say it was the world's peace. I said, My peace I give unto you. I tell you of a truth. I know for a fact it is not here. When I say it is not here, I mean it didn't come from here. This peace being from the Lord cannot come from people, y'all. Matter of fact, certain people, if they see you got it, they're gonna try to mess it up for you from even having it. That's because they're miserable. No matter how much they smile at you, just because people smile, they don't mean they're at peace with you because they're grinning at you. Uh-uh. Watch them wolves and them dogs. No matter how much they smile at you or how much they frown up at you, some of them let you know. Let me tell you something. This world cannot give it to you. And once you have it, this world cannot take it away from you ever. The peace of the Lord is not a mind thing, it's not a mind thing, even though it brings peace to the mind, it didn't come out the mind. See, can't not come out your mind that's gonna help your mind. How can the mind help the mind when the mind is disturbed? When the mind is sick, you need something to come heal the mind, that's why it's spiritual. This peace of the Lord is not a mind thing. Hear me on that, even though it brings peace to the mind, it's the mind that needs peace. How is it gonna get you peace? The peace of God is a spirit which comes from the spirit of God as a gift through Christ for our spiritual well-being while we are in this world. Second foundation, Philippians chapter four, one verse, the second part of my foundation. I'm just I ain't rushing this. This is the foundation, Philippians chapter four and verse seven, one verse. Hallelujah, hallelujah, and the peace of God, tell you again. See, Jesus already told you came from here, he told you it was him, and he also let you know it comes from my father, and the peace of God, not the peace of the world, not the peace of your ace boom kum, not the person that's in your life. This is the peace of God, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding. They're talking about all human understanding, shall keep, when you get it, you're gonna discover something because it's gonna keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Why hearts and minds? Because those were the two main areas in your life, in our lives, where the enemy tries to keep us from having peace. He don't want us to have peace in our mind, and he sure doesn't want us to have peace in our heart. That's why this peace got the pass that God got, it got to pass all understanding. I say unto you again, I'm gonna read to you one more time. The seventh part of my foundation, and the peace of God which passes all understanding. Which means don't try to use your brain and your mind to figure it out. It ain't gonna happen. You're gonna hurt yourself. Don't use your mind to try to understand it again. Because it's just passing all understanding. There is no understanding that mankind got that can understand the peace of God, but you can understand it through the spiritual because you're gonna find it it keeps your heart and your mind through Christ Jesus. And this, hallelujah, is where we will take up part two on next Sunday, Lord say the same. I will go in depth unto you how this peace passes all understanding spiritually with the word of God. Part one of a peace of peace. God bless you.
