Praise the Lord. I'm just so excited this morning to be with all of you. So glad for all of you this morning on this third Sunday in October. So glad and excited about this series that we've been uh we've been dealing with since last Sunday. And I want to go ahead and get right into part two because I I got a lot of material here that I just I know I'm probably not gonna get it all done, but we laid a foundation on last Sunday. The Lord has placed in my spirit a series called A Peace of Peace. We need peace in our lives, y'all. And not just any peace is gonna do. Only the peace of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will give us what we need. Only the peace of God will suffice. Because Nipnail is capable of giving us the stability, the tranquility that we need in this life. Now, on last Sunday, I laid a foundation with one verse. Went back and looked over what I did last Sunday. I thought sure I got more than one verse in the book. I only got in yeah, last Sunday, the foundational verse of this series. And before I get to part two, let me let me just go ahead and reiterate this. The foundation was St. John 14, 27, where Jesus himself, a little while before he left, and he was sitting down talking to his disciples. But this also applies to us also in our generation today. He says, peace, hallelujah, hallelujah. I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. Then he goes on to say, Not as the world gives it, let you know it ain't coming from the world, it's coming from me. Not as the world gives it, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Now he put that last part of that because he know when he left him, we was gonna, anybody living for him is gonna come be confronted with trouble and fear, which is why his peace is so necessary. Because no other peace will settle our spirits in times of trouble, in times of fear. Only the peace that Jesus left here for us and that he gave unto us. A piece of peace. If you just get a piece of it, we need more than the peace, but if you just get you a good piece of it, you will be surprised how differently your life will be when you are faced with trouble, when you are faced with fears, when you are faced with situations and circumstances that come to bring stress upon your family, stress upon your household. The peace of Jesus will come into play, and our lives will be better for it. Again, this foundation. Because it's so necessary, it's so needed. But very few people are talking about it, even though very few people are talking about it, but a whole lot of people know they need it and know they don't have it. Stressed out to the max. Can't take nothing else. You have some people say that I can't take nothing else. There's just too much on me right now. So overloaded with stuff, situations, especially in our mind. Lord knows that's an area right there in our mind. And our hearts, those are two areas. The word of God's gonna tell us this morning that God wants to keep in his care if you let him. He'll keep your heart and your mind. Because our mind, some of us don't really, in the church world, don't realize just how close we are to the brink of a nervous breakdown. How close we are to the brink of just throwing up both hands. Because we lack the peace that should be settling our minds and our hearts through Christ Jesus. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. He didn't just give you anybody, he gave you a peace that comes out of him. And I hope to get to what Isaiah. The reason why I come out here is because Isaiah, the prophet, said he was the prince of peace. So it's got to come from the prince of peace. That's G. Not as the world give it. Stop thinking that this peace we need is gonna come from somebody in the world or something in the world, or some organization in the world, or some other program in the world. They ain't gonna give you the peace you need. No ma'am and no sir. Not as the world gives it, give I unto you. Let's get into part two. Part two, I want to start this morning in the book of Philippians, chapter four, verse seven. What Paul tells the church in Philippi. And the peace of God, which passes. Oh, understand, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ. Didn't I say the two main areas that need to be kept is our heart and our mind? Our mind so we won't have no mental breakdown. Our heart, so we won't be stressed out and burdened down. Paul, listen, listen. Let me let me just say this the enemy comes, and this world is established by him to cause us to prevent us, let me say it like that, from ever having peace. The devil don't want you to have no peace, and it's the devil and other people that show them don't want you to have no peace. They keep you, that's why so many people's lives are so vexed with people in the household, people on the job, hard-headed children, all that stuff is gear. If we just start, I told, I think I told a little while back, if we could just get a spiritual eye and see the spiritual side of things, what's really going on and why things happen like they happen, there are spirits behind all this negative stuff to keep us off, let me say it like this, to keep us off our game, if you want, if you if you let me say it like that, from being what we could really be for the Lord and for the kingdom. They throw different things in our lives to keep us off balance, to throw our equilibrium off. And because, let me tell you something about this peace, because I know what I'm talking about. This peace of God that Paul said the word of God talking about right here, it will bring stability to your life. Trust me on this. You will be so stable and fixed in the Lord, because this peace that comes from God through Christ Jesus, worldless stuff can't won't be able to move you like they used to move you. That's why Jesus just told us in the foundation of scripture. My peace, it's got to be my peace. Not as the world is, they come from the world. If you're seeking peace from the world, that peace, that false artificial peace that you may find in the world, it ain't gonna last. It ain't gonna be able to stand the test of time, it's not gonna be able to endure what you got to endure. It does not have the power. Because this peace is a spirit that comes directly from our Lord Jesus Christ, from God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your heart. If you get this peace, you won't never have to worry about your heart and your mind being kept no more. Through Christ Jesus, you won't have to worry about it no more. If you get this peace of God, see two things, two things stand out to me in this one verse. Two things stand out to me. Let me tell you about it. The first thing being, the first thing being this, how the Lord speaking through Paul states that the peace of God which passes all understanding, right there, when you say that part right there, we need to right there grab a hold to this piece of knowledge. Anything which comes from God cannot be understood with our human understanding and our intellect alone. We we get that in your mind right now. You're gonna try to understand this, you try to understand this through human by human means, you never will get it. Because he just told you it passes all understanding. And the understanding he's talking about is human understanding. Other words, your brain can't get this. Anything which comes from God cannot be understood without human understanding and intellect alone by itself. God is a spirit, and to understand what he has for us must be understood through spiritual means. That means what I'm getting to, you got to have the Holy Ghost. You got to have, let me see, let me say it like this. In order for God to be able to connect with us spiritually, there has to be something in us for his spirit to connect to. You can't connect with God by fleshly means, you can't connect with God by human means, you'll never get, you'll never reach him. God is a spirit, that's the Bible tells us that. And to understand what he has for us must be understood through spiritual means. This is another area in our life where the Holy Ghost is much needed. You've got to have the Holy Ghost. When it comes to understanding the word of God, you got to have it. I don't care how many seminars the conjugates do, if you don't have the Holy Ghost, this piece of peace, you will never even be able to realize it. You will never come to know it. And I fear that there are people in this world right now who have never experienced the spirit of peace in their life. Never had, never have known it. You remember when Jesus said in the book of first John, and he tells us that the world knoweth us not, and he goes on to say because it knew him not. Okay, some of us don't know peace and other gifts and spirits God trying to give us because we don't know him not. We some are still in people, sad people who still have not come to know who Jesus is. There are some people that still have not come to know who God is. Oh, they know the word God, they know the name God, they know the name Jesus, but to know them on an intimate relationship basis, they have never known. You remember, I'm gonna care I'm gonna give you something else. You remember in the Bible what Jesus was telling these folks, and they said, Lord, we done cast out devils in your name, and or we done done this in your name, and all these things, and when they got used to telling Jesus what they done did and who they were, you remember what Jesus said, I never knew you. Uh oh, Hallelujah. Thank you. I never knew you. No, you got to know us because we were dumb as your name. I didn't know you because you did it in a niquity. If there's anything in our lives separating us from Jesus, that you what we need to understand is to be separated from Jesus by sin, wrongdoing of any kind also separates you from the gifts and everything else He has for you. He said, I never knew you, I ain't known you, you ain't never done what's right. You ain't never treated people right. You ain't never, well the Holy Ghost does in you. When did you have the Holy Ghost in your life? I ain't never known you. Because we get so caught up thinking doing things. Because I go to church, because I live read the Bible, because I do these things, that's automatically caused me to have a relationship with God, and that's a big falsehood. If you think that's what creates a relationship between you and God, you got to live this thing, and you got to do it according to the guidelines of what God says in his word. He was people going around here chest stuck all right and full of pride because they think they got a high IQ. Let me tell you something about a high IQ. A high IQ is still dumb to God compared to God. That's still dumb. And that's still limited. We will not be able to understand with our brains how peace is able to stay fixed and unmovable in times when life is pushing against us. Hallelujah. And when certain situations are pulling and tugging at our hearts and minds. If you don't have the spirit of God in you, you won't be able to understand how that works. How can I have peace if my life is stable and fixed? My mind is still intact, my heart is still intact. And I know I'm going through this, and I know I'm going through that, but I'm not moved, I'm not shaken, I'm not worried, I'm not fearing. And all the people ain't gonna be able to understand why you ain't letting certain things bother you. Let me let me say this here too. This peace of God that Paul said in the church in Philippi, which passes all understanding, to really experience the goodness of it, the sweetness of it. Let me tell you how you're gonna have to spend some time walking with the Lord. Hallelujah. Because see, the media, the immediate part of it comes over time. The longer you, the more you stay with God, the more you will experience what He has for you. The more you experience this peace, the more it will grow and develop in your life. What I'm trying to say is you will it will get you to a place in God. Well, like Paul said to these folks that try to get them to stop going down, he said, none of these things move me. I know they don't like me down in Jerusalem, I know they're gonna try to kill me. He said, but none of these things move me. And if I got the gospel alone when I can get down here, then just be the will of the Lord. But none, I'm not gonna let this stuff move me. Paul had the peace of God. And when facing fears, when facing threatening situations, when facing things that could cause you problems through people. My point is this we need to get in God a lot sooner than later, and we need to start seeking him more in depth than on the surface as we've been doing, in order for us to obtain and ascertain this peace that will cause our lives to be fixed and unmovable. When things come in our lives, start pushing against us, pulling and tugging on us in the area of our hearts and minds. When you get this, this piece, it will indeed pass all understanding. Hallelujah. Because it goes against mental physics, because it's spiritual. Society has conditioned so many of us to believe that we are supposed to respond in ways considered normal reactions of human behavior. The world would dictate to us how you're supposed to act during certain situations. You when people see you all been out of shape, and oh, they going through something, baby. I'm so, I'm praying for you, I'm so sorry. And we over time been living in this world and this aside, we conform or allow ourselves to conform to what people think. People tell you right now, if somebody goes off on you, you supposed to go off on them. But you don't do you ever hear anybody say if somebody go off on you, you're supposed to let peace be still and give it to God. See, that ain't normal. That ain't normal human reaction, not what the world dictates to us, where the world conditions. We they they look for you to respond and react accordingly, wordly, accordingly. But that's not the way of God, and that's not how the spirit of peace would lead us. See, the peace which passes all understanding starts with faith in him who has this peace in his hand, and that's the Lord God Almighty. See anytime you go, choose to go God's way, you already automatically setting yourself up to be totally different from the world. I might as well don't tell you that you when you go God's way, don't expect when you get into God, especially in every peace, nothing about him is gonna relate to the world or its ways. Because this peace, being that it comes from God through our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, is by faith. You can we can sit here and Read all these scriptures on peace, I want to. But if you don't put the faith to what you just heard and to what I'm reading to you, it still ain't gonna do you no good. Because more faith in our lives comes by hearing, and by doing. Be ye doers of the word, not hearers only. Just can't say, Yeah, I want you to hear, it's good to hear. But when we hear, we need to be doing it, putting it in action. The peace, the peace which passes all understanding, all human understanding, starts with faith. In him who has this peace in his hands, the Lord God Almighty. By faith, we believe in his peace. And by faith, it is manifested in our lives. If you by faith believe in this peace, you will begin to see it manifest itself. What I'm talking about, it will begin to show itself in you. People can be hollering and topping their own, cussing you out, calling you out your name, treating you bad verbally. And all while they acting a fool, and all while they showing who the which devil really living in them, the peace of God is manifest holy, holy, is manifesting itself in your life. Because it's not gonna allow you to get on their level, it's not gonna allow you to respond as they are responding, it's not gonna let you go tit for tatly saying ugly things, doing ugly things. The second thing in this verse, in Philippians 4, 7, that stands out to me is that the Lord says, when he says this part, shall keep your hearts and mind, through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah. See, while we try to keep our bank accounts and keep the gas in the car, keep grocers in the house, keep clothes and shoes, clothes on our backs and shoes on our foot. What about our hearts and minds? Is our hearts and minds being kept? See this piece here that comes from God. He said he said, keep your hearts. When it says keep, that means protect, watch over, guard over. When see, because God see trouble come long before we do. Come on now. God see evil coming long before we do. And he can protect us for the trouble. Even if he don't stop the trouble from coming, he already gonna put a guard over your peace, over your hearts and mind before the trouble gets there. Before that ignorant person in your life becomes ignored, God already will put a guard on your heart and your mind. See, this lets me know that through God's peace, our hearts and our minds will be kept through Christ Jesus. And when something is kept by God through Christ Jesus, it cannot fail. If you put just put the faith, if you just believe, I lose. If you just believe it, it cannot fail. Because it's coming from God and it's through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Him who is the Prince of Peace. Hear what the Holy Ghost is saying, yeah. When the word says, through Christ Jesus, this peace must come to us from God through Christ Jesus. But we miss it because we're looking for it to come from the world. Well, if I get me a new boyfriend, give me a new girlfriend, if I change jobs, if I do this, if I do that, my life will be much better. If I relocate, move to another state. How many times am I gonna have to say this? Let me tell you to you one more time. You can't run from nothing. You go wherever you go. Relocating you, you still taking you with you. You and your problem, you and your situation. And I'm gonna tell you something else, which you a lot of people ain't realize. Going to another place, you just you just gonna meet up with some new stuff. Cause the devil all over this uh world. Trouble all over this world, trouble everywhere. That'll be trying to run from deal with it, or better yet, give it to God and allow his peace to come into your life and serve you no matter where you're at. This peace must come to us from God through Christ Jesus, which means in order for us to receive the peace of God, Christ must be in our lives for God to bless us with it. Now you gotta understand, is Jesus in my life? Okay, so if we're gonna say yeah, do we act the food in times of trouble and stress? Ask yourself how do you act? And you'll know if you got some peace. How do you act? When hearing certain news, when certain situations happen.

How do you act?

When things ain't going quite the way you want them to go in your life. How do you act? And that'll tell you if you got any peace. Christ, who is peace, must be in our lives in order for God to keep on fluid in our lives with the peace that passes all understanding. How can God supply us with the peace we so desperately need if there is no Jesus in us for him to send it through? And see, I'm telling you something. Saying you got Jesus with your mouth don't make you have Jesus in your heart. Jesus don't just appear because you said he's in you. See, this, see, this I know will pass somebody's understanding of what I'm saying right here. I know, of how this is possible. But this is a God thing. When Jesus, when we read that foundation scripture, when Jesus said, My peace, I leave with you, let you let you know on one thing in the it comes from him. That's the only way you can get it. That's the only way it's possible. God does this through Christ because Christ is the Prince of all peace. Trying to have this without Jesus, you will never get it. See, when we call on God from hearts that remain in Christ and His Word, then the peace of God will flood our troubled souls. You got to come clean with God. See, this peace, I say unto you again, is an inner tranquility mediated by the Holy Ghost. Tranquility. That means when you at a point in your life, nothing disturbs what you have through God. See, I'm saying something. When trouble comes, it automatically kicks in. You know how some people are faced with a situation and they respond in a way they shouldn't have responded, but later on, when they look back over the situation, they should have, you never hear people say, I should have followed my first mind and done what was right. When you got the peace of God in your life, his peace will always be your first mind. To do, in other words, to do what is right, to stay stable, to keep the spiritual tranquility in your life and not let it be disturbed. See, it provides us with a firm conviction, which a lot of people don't have, no conviction. This peace provides us with a firm conviction that Jesus is near and that God's love will be active in our lives for our good. When you know this, you stop letting folk get you all bent out of shape. Stop letting situations have you crawling the walls. Can't stop crying, always sad, don't have no joy. And sure enough, don't have no peace. But a piece of peace, just get a piece of it. Start you off, you'll want more. Trust me on this. If you just get a piece of it, you're gonna want some more. And the Lord has it available for us to get as much as we want. If we would just follow the guidelines of the word of God, why is it so hard for us to just do it like the words say do? See, when we lay our troubles before God in prayer, this peace will stand God at the door of our hearts and minds, preventing the cares and heartaches of life from upsetting our lives and undermining our hope in Christ. This peace prevents all that stuff, all them heartaches, all that misery. Because peace not only does it settle your hearts and mind. Let me say it like this. This peace that comes from God through our Lord Saved Jesus Christ, it's like a soothing medicinal urge, spiritual. When things come to come and bring you hurt mentally in your heart and your mind. Foolishly, hurting other people by our action in our way. And you know the sad thing about it? Them people that's doing that kind of stuff, they claim they got Jesus too. Now, somebody lying. And they lying on the Lord, and let me tell you something lying on the Lord will cause you to suffer in ways you ain't never suffered before. Because you're doing just like the Pharisees did when they called Jesus a devil and they lied on him. But Jesus flipped the script and said, now you have your father the devil, and uh he was a liar from the beginning. How you gonna call Jesus, who is the truth, a liar? Your actions have a language just like your mouth got a language. When you go on against what the word teaches, your actions got a language just like your mouth got a language, and your actions speak against the Lord. Hallelujah. Your actions speak against the word because your behavior is not in line with what the word say you're supposed to be behaving, and we do this to other people, not thanking the damage we cause it or the disturbance against their peace that we are causing. See, if fear and anxiety attempts to return on a daily basis, you might get peace today. But that didn't mean the devil's gonna stop and try again tomorrow. If fear and anxiety attempt to return, we pray, prayer, petition, and thanksgiving will be once again placed us under the peace of God that guards our heart. Isaiah said it like this. In Isaiah 26 and 3. Hallelujah, he says, Thou, and the thou, he's talking about a God. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stay on thee. See, Isaiah figures out, Lord, you keeping those in perfect peace. I know that you're keeping them in perfect peace whose mind who keep their mind on you. Otherwise, keeping their minds on your word, keeping their mind on living right, keeping their minds on doing right. I know that you keep them in perfect peace because they're keeping their minds on what they need to keep their mind on righteousness, holiness, the truth. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Why he gonna do that, Isaiah? Because he trusts in thee. When you keep in your mind on the things of God and his word, you showing to God that you trust him. Hallelujah. And if you and if God see you trusting, he's gonna grant unto you perfect what he calls perfect peace. That means that peace that comes straight from him. Why is this thing about peace so important? Because we are in a corrupt, confused, evil, wicked, and stressful world. God know what we're at and know what we're under. This is why he's trying to supply us with this peace, perfect peace, the peace that passes all understanding, the peace that Jesus gives us. And you notice how each verse, what is Paul, what is Jesus talking, what is Isaiah talking? You notice how they all talk about the area of our mind. See, Isaiah is talking about whose mind is stayed on him. The mind. Let me tell you about Smooth Foot. The difference between Slew Foot and God. God rules in the hearts of men. That's what the Bible tells us. God get in your heart. But Slewfoot, the old devil, that dragon, he attacks the mind. Remember how Paul told the church in Corinthians? How we stood up and let the devil build strong holes in our minds. He's gonna come, the devil trying to take over your mind. And so ourselves allows the devil to take over our minds. That's why we can so easily say stuff. Because what's in down in the well is gonna come up out the bucket. Watch impression when they go through a situation and see what comes up out of them verbally. Let them tell you who living out inside of. Which is why all these scriptures spoken by several different people all focus on the mind. Get your mind away from the devil. Peace will get your mind away from the devil, or have the devil having access to your mind. The peace of God, this perfect peace, this peace that passes all understanding, will get your mind away from being accessed by the enemy with foolishness and evil. Thou will keep him in perfect peace, and only perfect peace can come from God, whose mind is staying on thee. Why Isaiah? Because he trusted in thee. You got to trust God. See, to walk in this kind of peace, you gotta have some trust in God. That he's gonna keep supplying you each and every day with a fresh batch. Give you every day a fresh batch, add it to your peace. Our brother Isaiah has a key point for us living in perfect peace. And that is whose mind is stayed on me. When he said that right there, whose mind is stayed on me? Because he trusts in thee, a sure sign that our minds are not stayed on the Lord is seen and made evident when we respond in certain ways to live situations. You it never failed. If you would just sit back and observe people, and they don't know you observe them. Because when a person acting fool, they ain't watching how they're acting, but you see them better than they see themselves. Because you see the expression on your face, you hear the hurtful words that's coming out of their mouth, you see the evil stuff they're doing against you. But instead of focusing on what they're saying and how they're doing, look at it from a spiritual perspective, and it'll tell you what spirit is down inside of a sure sign that our minds are not stayed on the Lord is seen and made evident when we respond in certain ways to life situation. It is also a sure sign of our lack of peace and our lack of having minds stayed on the Lord. You can always tell somebody who ain't been ain't spent no time with the Lord much lately. I'ma say it. And you I don't mean no harm, but you can tell they start, you can tell they you can tell that they have started veering more to the worldly mindset, the carnal mindset rather than the spiritual mindset. You can tell the difference. Is it not true that we would be handling situations totally different if our minds were stayed on the Lord and not allowing our situation to be handling us? Wouldn't it be different? We would be handling our situations totally different if our Mind will stay alone instead of letting our situations handle us. See, God already knows. And we are just beginning to see. We just now just begin to see that as the trying and stressfulness of these last days occur, and we in the last days, y'all, we're finna be able to some real stressful situations. But it don't matter if you got the peace of God. God already knows this. And we, like I said, we just begin to see that as the trying and stressfulness of these last days occur and come upon this world, our peace will come under attack. It's gonna come under attack. It's gonna try to disturb us on the news. Stuff that we hear, more killing, more murder. There are wicked forces attempting to keep us from having the peace of God. And these are the times we're really gonna. Well, let me say it like this. We don't need to be just not getting peace. We should have already had the foundation of peace being constructed in our hearts and minds. So that we will have what we need, enough of what we need in the area of peace when this the bottom really fall out. Just not trying to get it. You might want to get in a hurry and seeking this peace, this peace of peace. But let me tell you something about God. God is good, but God, and He shall keep us in perfect peace. Those who would remain steadfast and faithful to their Lord, even though they be not, even if it be just a remnant of God's people willing to do this, even though there may be just a few who wouldn't have lived this life. God will keep the few who are willing to sell out for Him. It is very imperative that in times of great trouble, hallelujah, and in times of great stress, we continuously place our trust in the Lord and rely on the peace that he provides as a result of our trusting in him. I mean, totally rely on him. No matter what you see, no matter what you endure, no matter what you're gonna do, keep trusting. You keep trusting him, he's gonna keep supplying you with the peace that you need. And what is perfect peace? Somebody may wonder. I can't. It is the complete, unflowed, without fault, out of this world, heart regulator, mind regulator, storm resistor, God produced spirit-quidening presence of Christ Jesus in our lives, the prince of all peace. Paul goes on to tell the church in Colossians, in Colossians chapter 3, verse 15, one verse. Colossians 3 15. He says this to the church in Colossians, and let right there, Paul right there. Listen at that. He said, and let see some of us don't let God give us no peace, some of us don't let the word do us no good, some of us don't let the truth cover us, some of us don't let the blood, and let the peace of God do what, Paul, rule in your hearts. Pause right there, that comes. Pause right there. And let the peace of God rule in your heart. Did I just tell y'all God rules in the heart? Anytime you're talking about God, you're gonna see the heart. But see, this peace that he's trying to give you, just like God wanna rule your heart, you got to let his peace rule your heart too in times of stressful situation. You can't rule and peace trying to rule too. That's why Paul said, let, in other words, let get yourself out the way and let the peace of God take over. Hallelujah. And let the peace of God move out the way. You ain't doing no good job of it. Let peace take over, let the peace of God take over your heart, and let the peace of God rule your heart. To the which also ye are called in one body. And then what's gonna happen, Paul? When you realize this, you're gonna be thankful. He said, and be ye thankful. When your eyes come up, high important words and let the peace of God rule your heart. See, we are to let this peace rule within us. Otherwise, when this peace that Jesus left for us, that God's trying to give us, when you get it, let it rule your heart. Let it tell you how to respond to situations. Don't you respond then saying, Oh Lord, I I I meant to let the peace do it. No, let the peace have. If you got if peace is ruling, that means you let you become subservient to the peace. Because he you let him rule. In times of allowing our hearts to be ruled by other things and become unruly before God, someone's just downright unruly. Unruly means you don't let none rule you because you you got such a one-track mind. You go by how you think and feel about things, you unruly. Unruly heathen. If God can't rule you, if you don't let God rule in you, who else you think ruling in you then if it ain't God? The devil? In times of allowing our hearts to be ruled by other things and becoming unruly before God, why don't you just let the peace of God rule your heart and say? What's so hard about letting the peace of God rule our heart? What's so hard about that? You'll be glad to deep. See, sometimes I feel that many of us desire unpeaceable moments. You'd be surprised how many people love it when chaos is going on. Love arguments, love being full of the devil, love being unpeaceable. You might think I'm playing, but I'm not. There's some people love that. They love to keep up stuff, they love to keep up myths. They can't stand it when things are going good. They can't stand it when peace is in the house. They got to do something to act ignorant and act a fool. So many of us desire this unpeaceable moment because the spirit of the enemy which lives in many of us hates for peace to be present. Can't stand the peace to be present. Can't stand to have a lovely atmosphere in the house. Can't stand that employees, runway co-works, can't stand to have a peaceable employee on the job who don't act like they do. Because it shows them up. See, whether we acknowledge it or not, you got to acknowledge, don't matter, doesn't change that. We are called to be peaceful upon this earth. Regardless of what we say, whether we want to admit it or acknowledge it or not, God has called us. Then didn't that what the script just said in Colossians? To the which also ye are called, and let the peace of God rule your heart, to the which also you are called. We are called to be peaceful upon this earth. In submitting ourselves to Christ, we are also to submit ourselves to the ruling of peace in our lives. And be thankful that it is ruling our lives. Thankful that it's ruling our lives because we for sure are not doing a good job of ruling ourselves. We ain't done a good job of it at all. But I hate to tell you, peace will do a perfect job because it's perfect peace. See, when we allow the peace of God to rule our hearts, we are in essence allowing Jesus to rule our hearts. If you let peace rule, you let Jesus rule. Because the peace came from Jesus. Is Jesus ruling our hearts when we lash out verbally at others for no apparent reason? Is peace, hallelujah, ruling our hearts when we allow ourselves to be shaken and disturbed by mental irritations? Peace cannot rule our heart as long as we are trying to rule our own way.
