The enemy would have us accursed and condemned before God, but God's love would rather bestow upon us his grace and mercy. Though our sins are many, God's grace has abounded upon us so much the more.
Judgment and justice grants unto us what we deserve, but the grace of God, grants unto us what we do not deserve, though we be guilty of our sins and could be condemned were it not for the blood of Jesus. Thank the Lord for Jesus.
Praise God, praise God. The Lord is good, merciful and kind. I'm telling you, it's just it just ain't nobody liking. There never never will be. Anyone like him. And the more I study, the more I read about him, coming into this knowledge of him. I just stand back in awe. Sometimes you just be speechless when God revealed himself to you in so many many ways. Tonight, let me let me do let me get let me get to the book. I just want to magnify God and glorify him and acknowledge him. Well, he is God. And nobody can be God but God. But tonight, I'm let me just get your Bibles. First, while I'm talking, get your Bibles, and we're going to the book tonight. This Bible study. This Bible study, so get your Bibles. But while you're getting your Bibles, let me just say this. All of us who are saved or have been saved, we listen, all of us got a past. All of us got a past. Now, I leave it up to people to determine whether whose past is worse than the mother's past. That's really not important because all of us wrong and all of us sin, and we all have had a past without God. We all have come from something. We all have done things. We all have said things. And and a lot of us after we stepped over into holiness and stepped over into being saved, the new life, being born again, I'm pretty sure that there are times when we have looked back, not to go back, but remember some of the things we've done to others and how we treated others. We have had some regrets. Now that I see with fresh eyes, saved eyes, I look back on things, Lord, things in my life. I wish I never had done to people. I wish that I'd never have done to myself. And we have regrets and we we feel sorry for those things, but they in the past. And you cannot go back and change your past. You can, thanks be on the God, we can't go to God in forgiveness, and He will remember them no more. And we cannot listen to me now. Make sure y'all phones on mute now. Because I want to talk to you tonight. You cannot put no gift trip on yourself about what you have done in your past if you have been forgiven of that thing. Now, if you're still doing it, now that's a whole another thing. But if you know you have been forgiven, you done gave that up, you don't no longer live like that. Don't beat yourself up about that. And number two is I'm gonna say this, and I've said it before. Don't let other people beat you up about what you did and what they know you did in your pain. That's not you anymore. Hence, that's what is also meant when it says born again. You are something else, and you're not what you used to be. Check your phone, Saint. Put your phones on mute, please. Check your phones. Somebody's phone is not on mute. We don't want to disturb others. Put your phone on mute. But there is somebody, another being. Let me say this. There is another being that don't care because you don't want him to bring it up. He don't care because you don't want to uh be re reshown your path. He wants to bring it up anyway. And we know that's the devil. I want to show you in the word of God tonight how he he goes in the presence of God to accuse you of this and accuse you of that. So that you won't what his hope is to tear you down in front of God. Now you know that's that's rotten out. That's that's where a lot of people don't realize that's where they get their spirit from. Those who like to tear down people, tear people's lives up in front of other people, make them look bad, stay up missed, and still troubled by bringing up stuff you did in your past when you were unsaved. Well, I'm gonna tell you that spirit comes from the devil. I'm gonna show you in the word. But I'm also gonna show you in the word of God that God is not intimidated by what the devil brings to him about you and I. He ain't intimidated by that because God's plans for our lives, he has made a decision, he has given his son to die for us, and he wants us saved. And that's why one of the first messages Jesus preached, the first message he preached once he started his ministry on this earth was the message of repentance. Because when God, because when you have repented, he's trying to get you to repent because in the eyes of God, when we have repented, God has opened up the window to forgive. But you got to repent. So when you repent and God forgives, and the devil trying to bring that stuff on you, God already let him know. And then you bring that stuff to me about my child. Because they have repented and I have forgiven. But the devil don't stop there, he don't listen to God. Just like a lot of us got that spirit from this God. I'm telling you when you get some spirit from is from the devil, your father, the devil. I'm gonna show you the word of God. Well, God ain't gonna leave it to nobody else to rebuke him. God gonna rebuke the devil himself. I'm gonna show you in the book. Get your Bible. I hope you don't got you should have drug your Bible by now. Blow the dust off, wipe it off. Because I'm gonna go to we're gonna we're going to one of the old, what he ain't no. He ain't one of the major prophets, but he's an old prophet. But he's considered one of the minor prophets. Find in your Bible. Go to the book of Zechariah. I'm gonna give you two minutes to find because I know a lot of y'all don't y'all don't flip y'all phases in your Bible. Find Zechariah. Let's find Zachariah. We're gonna, I'm gonna show you some stuff in Zechariah tonight that I hope open our eyes to lie, because too many of us walk around. We know we saved, and Lord knows we know we don't want to go back to that life we come out of. But we feel bad about some of the stuff we done did. And there's nothing wrong with uh having a feeling of remorse about some things you did. Just don't go back and do them no more. And don't let the devil or anybody else use that as a weight to hinder you from growing in the Lord. Yeah, I did that, I'm ashamed of it, I done repented, the God done forgiveness, I'm not that person no more, I've gone on with my life. And tell that devil in them people that that's what you have done. And let them know that's not who you are anymore. And if God don't bring it up and remember, don't let nobody else bring it up and remember, especially when they're trying to bring it up to still make you look bad. But you got to be living the light. I'm gonna show you that in the book, too. I'm feeling you get that. God's gonna tell the man. Now you got to keep my commands, you gotta walk in my way now. And there are some conditions if you do this. God gonna tell them, This is what I will do for you. Get your Bible, find Zechariah, help them find it. Find Zechariah, and if you find it, go to the third chapter. Let's go to the third chapter of Zechariah. I wanna hold you on long tonight, but I want to I want to get this point in. Because I want y'all to chew on this the rest of the week until I get you to message Sunday. Zechariah chapter three. That's what I want. Zechariah chapter three. Now, I'm gonna read you something. You're gonna read, we're gonna read about this. Was a priest, a high priest that Zechariah wrote about. His name was Joshua, not the Joshua that was with Moses, not the other Joshua, but this is the Joshua. This man's name was also Joshua, but this Joshua was a high priest in the temple of God around the time of Zachariah. A little bit about Zachariah. He kind of came up around the time of Hagai. If y'all ever read the book of Hagai, and he, and Ezra also wrote about him. And this was the setting is this was a time that they were also trying to rebuild the temple. And this man, Joshua, was the high priest. Like I said, don't get it confused with the Joshua that walked with Moses and the other Joshua in the Bible. But this Joshua, his name was Joshua. But his position was a high priest of the temple. And there were some things about him. He was a high priest and he loved the Lord. He won't do right, but there were some things about his life that the devil wanted the Lord to reject him or refuse him because here's some things that the devil wants to bring up to him and make God see what why he ain't fit to be no high priest. He ain't said to be in no temple. And he that stands away for God to praise him. So the devil can see he's gonna tear him down. But God has some waiting on sleep. Let's sleep for the devil. He has some waiting on. Let's get to the book. Zechariah, chapter three. Now, I'm gonna read the first seven verses, but in your study time, you can read the whole chapter. Matter of fact, you can read the whole book. Let's read the whole book. But let me let me just take my time, which can take you, take you to Zechariah. Zechariah chapter three, verses one through seven. Now, this is Zechariah writing about somebody else, not about himself. He said, and he showed me. This Zachariah said, this is what the Lord is going to show him. The Lord is finna show Zechariah something about Joshua, the priest. And he showed me Joshua. Hallelujah. Oh God, I'd be getting, I just can't read the word, y'all, and I just feel something just come up in me. I don't know what it is. I mean, I know what it is, but I don't know if it's hard to describe, and I don't know what no one's gonna run just reading it. I guess that Holy Ghost for me, Lord be chewing on this word, reading on this book. And he showed me Joshua, the high priest, standing, hallelujah. Woo! I felt it again. Lord, this is just something about this book, standing before the angel of Lord. Now, let me let me uh take you a little slow hymn. Because if you become a good Bible reader, Bible studier, you're gonna read throughout the Bible, especially in the old books, Zechariah being one of those books, Old Testament, you're gonna hear, like I told y'all, Jesus is all in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. But he is called by different names depending on where you read. Of course, in the gospel, he's called Jesus. But if you ever, Isaiah called him Emmanuel, but if you ever read in other parts of the Bible, you're gonna you're gonna read, and they're gonna, the writer's gonna call him the angel of the Lord. That's another manifestation of Jesus, another one of his prophetic images. If you ever read in the book of Genesis, when them three angels came to meet Abraham before they went down to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, one of them out of the three, you if you ever take the time to go back and read, then take the time and read it. Stop trying to help get back to the Kiwi. He mentions that one of them was the angel of the Lord, which was Jesus. And you'll see where the Bible says that one stayed behind to talk to Abraham. It was, and you keep reading, he's gonna tell only two of them went to the city. Now, all three of them didn't go down under destroy Solomon, just two. But the one that was called the angel of the Lord, which is a manifestation of Christ, he stayed to talk. Matter of fact, he the one that Abraham kept on asking, Lord, if you go down there and sign 50, if you go down there and sign 45, that was Jesus Abraham was talking to. But he was wearing one of his other identities, which is called the angel of the Lord. It's gonna say an angel, or it's gonna call him by name Gabriel, Michael. I know y'all don't know about Raphael, I know y'all don't know about them, Azeel. You don't know about them, but the Bible, those are just angels. But when it says angel of the Lord, it's talking about Jesus. Now, when you're in your stunning time, remember that fact. So you'll it'll help you also understand what you read. So here in Zechariah, Zechariah mentions that when the Lord showed him Joshua, the high priest, he was standing before the angel of the Lord, which is Christ. And it's gonna explain itself when I get down to a few more scriptures. You're gonna see this. But here it is now. Here's Zachariah standing, God showing him Zachariah, the Lord showing Zachariah Joshua for a reason. Because God knows that Satan, like Joshua, he tried to come against us and make our lives look bad. And God finna show Zachariah Jeff what he would do for one of his, even when our lives ain't 100% what they ought to be. Even though the Lord knows we're trying and we striving and we putting forth that effort for him to do the work in our lives, he's gonna show Satan up now. You want me to do one thing to him, but I'm gonna show you in his face, in your face, what I'm gonna do for him. And I'm gonna have my son, Jesus, who is the angel of the Lord, he's gonna be standing right there to oversee the whole thing. So if you want to do this, Satan, come on. And Satan standing, see now here. God, what you doing? Standing up in the way of God's business. Because you come with your man, you come to tear my name down, you want you finna you you wanted to try to destroy somebody else's life. Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. Other words, whatever good you're gonna say by Joshua, I'm gonna resist you. This is what the devil got to know to stand before God and before the angel of the Lord, before Jesus, to try to condemn Joshua. Because the devil try to use God's own law against him. Well, you know you don't like sin. What you got this son of man standing before you for? Now I'm finna see what you're gonna do. Is you gonna judge him according to your word? Or are you gonna let just overlook what he's doing? And if you do, I'm here to resist you. I'm here to let you know. But if I can't make it in, I'm finna try to make sure nobody else make it in. I don't care if they're here standing before the angel of the Lord before Jesus. Because I don't like me. See, the devil don't like Jesus our God. And he sure don't like nobody living for Jesus and for God. Um he just he was standing at the right hand. See that right hand side, that's for Jesus. What you doing on that side? See, he's already out of all it all the place because he's arrogant. But he's gonna get here. Don't worry, he's gonna get he gonna get here. Don't worry about him. Standing at the right hand to resist, he done to bring confusion, he's there to bring chaos, he's there to bring division. I told y'all where y'all getting the spirit from.
SPEAKER_01But here, I'll tell you they're coming from. To resist it.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonNow, in other words, what he's trying to do is he's gonna try to he thinks he needs to bring it to God's attention. Not only about Joshua, but to bring it to God's attention about you and I, so that he can accuse us. Because see, the devil knows what we undid before we got saved, and he has kept that information, and he has kept those those secrets, those sinful secrets that we had at a time like this, so he can bring before God so that he can accuse us. I'm gonna show you in the word of God in a minute. Well, the Bible says he tried to go before God and accuse us day and night. He wants to accuse us before God, so God won't have a right to give us salvation, but the devil is allowed. Matter of fact, let me go there now. Put a pen in verse one. Stay with Zachariah. Got your Bibles open? Go to Revelation. Just go to Revelation. Let me give you this here right quick. I hope this don't turn no point too. That's one I forgot on my text tonight. Accused, but not condemned. That's that's that's the topic I'm talking about tonight. Accused, he can accuse you, but God ain't gonna condemn you. Go to Revelation. One verse, I just want one verse right quick. Ooh, but if you read that whole 12th chapter, there's some meat in there. I mean some thick, good meat in Revelation that 12th chapter. But I'm just gonna take one verse this time because it's Bible study and for the sake of time. Revelation chapter 12, verse 10. That's just give me that 10th verse, all I want. Although 11 and 12 are also good, but I just did give me 10. Just give me 10 this time. Revelation 12 and 10. Now, this John, you know, John wrote Revelation. So this John, this is what he heard. John said, and I heard a loud voice saying, In heaven. Now it's come salvation. Here, see, we done got woo, hallelujah. See, God salvation gonna come, y'all. It's coming, it's coming. Now is come salvation and strength. God strengthen us, and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ, for the accuser, there you are. I told you I'm gonna show you something about him, oh Slewfoot. He's an accuser. He said, for the accuser of our brethren, accusing us, our brothers and sisters everywhere, just to try to accuse us of everything because we don't we don't live like that no more. I'm talking about the ones who ain't living like they used to live no more. Ain't talking about you hypocrites, ain't talking about you the devil and dabbling. I'm talking about those who have changed their lives, but the devil wants to still you wear that that title around your neck, which you used to be. He's an accuser. He said, for the accuser of our brethren is cast down. See, he's gonna get here. He's gonna be cast down. Been accusing folks for I don't know how long, but it's time for you to be cast down now, because the kingdom of our God has come. Now salvation is here. We saved now, and ain't nothing you can do about it, devil. Accused of our brother that's cast down. What did he do? Which accused them before our God day and night. Didn't I tell you? That's all he's trying to do? Day and night, see, day and night don't affect immortal beings. See, we have to sit down and go to sleep at night or take a nap during the day. We have to rest. But see, immortal beings don't have to rest like we do. So he can keep going all day long. When you're sleeping, the devil up there trying to cue you for God. Day and night, hoping that he can turn God against it. Come on now. That's got to be crazy. You can't turn God from his people. And I wish the Lord that we will give us, God will give us strength so that he cannot turn us against God. But you showed us ain't gonna turn God against God, but that don't stop him from trying. That's still gonna cause them to try. Which choose them before our God day and night. You don't need nobody bringing up your past day and night. You don't need nobody trying to get you to relive how you used to live day and night. That's the past. Leave it back there. What did Paul tell for getting those things which are behind us? Didn't he say that? Forget them. Which means you don't live like that way no more. And I don't need the devil, nor them that got the devil in them bringing it up. Because I belong to the Lord now and I live for him. Go back to Zechariah. Let me get this in. Let me get this in. Go back to Zechariah. See, Satan attempts to accuse us before God there and night. He seeks to take advantage of us even before God. See that why he's hanging out on the right hand? He ain't got no business there. That's all right. God just tolerating it for us. God just tolerating for us. He ain't gonna get nowhere. Come on now. Let's go to Zachariah. Let's go to verse 2. One and three, verse three, chapter three, verse two. But here comes the Lord. The Lord's finna talk to him. So you wanna stand there on the right hand side in my business? Well, you finna get what you get. And the Lord said to Satan. See, Zachariv. I'm gonna show you something why. See, Zachariv, like us, we can't defend ourselves against the devil. We have no power against the devil. But see, through Christ, that's why our power source. That's why you gotta stay attached to your power source. That's why you gotta stay, we gotta stay attached to our strength, which comes from God through Christ. And Zechariah, in his present condition, could not rebuke the devil out of his life, out of his business. But you're gonna see fitness in out the love of God. God's gonna do it for us. I rebuke him. You can't, but I can. So listen at verse 2. Then I'm gonna tell you, show you something about Joshua. And the Lord said unto Satan, the Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, the old, I rebuke. Even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem, even the Lord, you can put yourself there. Because you know, this was written in old time by Jerusalem. But you can put yourself in it down. The Lord who has chosen you, and put your name there. The Lord who done chose Ricky, who done chose me, he rebuked you, devil. Rebuke thee. Is not this a brand put out of the fire? See, when God done chose you, y'all, let me show y'all something right quick. If you live and save right now and truly accept salvation, accept the life that God is calling you to live. What you really need to do is use your spiritual eyes and your spiritual mind to see and understand what has really happened. By doing so, God has plucked your life from having to be thrown in that fire at the end. And in doing so, it is symbolic to him really done plucked you out from being thrown in the fire. And you need to be crying out thanking him right now. Because if God done made choice of you and you have accepted what he has done is to have kept you where you can avoid ever being thrown in that fire, that burn with fire brimstone. You ain't got to go near it. Because God, look at what the book said, he done plucked you out. And what Zachariah was right and telling at that time, God done plucked Israel out of the fire. But that was Israel. But this applies to us today, too. He done plucked you and I out of the fire if we stay safe. If we stay in according with that word. And he told Satan, yeah, you want me to do this, but he said, Ah, the Lord rebuke you, old Satan. Yeah, you want me to come and get Josh, but I done plucked him out of the fire. He's been plucked out of the fire, and the rest of my children have been plucked out of the fire. You won't get them. Now let me tell you why Satan wanted to bring this accusation against Joshua. We go on less verse 3. This is gonna explain to you about the life of Joshua. He was trying to live for the Lord. And like us, God ain't through with us yet. We got some more to go. We got some more growing to do. We got some more little for him to do. We got some more learning to do. We got some more repenting to do. Verse 3. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments. This talking spiritually about his life, not necessarily the clothes he had on, but some things within his life. He just got to get some things in order. And the devil saw this spiritually, but God says also. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments. And devil, does he say it or no? No, nobody's supposed to come before the Lord, filthy. But see, you got to see how twisted his mind is. Check your phone. Somebody fall in on me. You got to also see this. See how twisted his mind is. He's filthy. But he tried to cut, trying to point out somebody else's filthy. Come on now. You know that's confused. He's filthy. But he got the layer to come before God and point out from fifty. He sees somebody else. Do you see somebody you know? Do you see yourself? We ain't got no business y'all to be pointing out nothing, nobody's life, doing nobody doing their lies. Pray for them. Because nobody accused nobody else of what they're doing. We don't have that right. That ain't why God sent us on this earth. That's not why God has saved us. Now Joshua was clothed in filthy garments and stood before the angel. Talking about Jesus. See it. I'm the Lord. Hallelujah. Look at this, y'all. Look at this. I might be filthy, Lord. I may have done something, but I'm standing before Jesus. That ain't the Lord of Jesus. I'm standing before Jesus. And when we stand before Jesus, the Lord sees the Jesus in us and not our filtiness. He know we ain't worthy. He knows we've been born in sin and shaking, but we're standing before Jesus. Holly. Because Jesus, it's his blood that can cover whatever filthiness in our life. Yes, Lord, I'm filthy. Yes, Lord, I'm done wrong. But through Christ, my life has been changed. And you've been seeing the angel of the Lord change his life. Watch this. Watch this now. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the angel. Listen to this verse 4. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him. This angel the Lord talking in verse 4. This Jesus talking now. The one we standing before. This is what the Lord instructed his other servants to do for those who are trying to be saved. Well, he instructing those what to do for Joshua. And he answered and spake to those that stood before him, saying, Take away the physics garments from take it, Lord. Forgive that that he done done in his life. Forgive that she done done in her life. Take it away. So he has not only the right, but he has the authority to wipe it all away. To cleanse us, whatever filthy stains, whatever blemish, whatever spot, whatever rank, he has the power to take all the filthiness away, that filthy mouth, that filthy mind. He has the power. He said, take it away, take away the filthy garments from us. And unto him said, this is what he said now. He's going to replace it with something else. Listen to this. Behold, this angel Lord talking. It's Jesus. I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee. I dunno cause. This is what Jesus said now. I know you weren't clean. I know you were filthy, but I'm here to cleanse your life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I'm here to cleanse your mind. I'm here to take away all the filthy. I know the devil's been trying to accuse your life, but the devil ain't got power over me. And if you abide in me, he will have no power over you either. So don't let him accuse you. Why, Lord? For behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee. And I will, this is what Jesus is what Jesus is doing. Now he ain't gonna just go cleanse you up. He'll give you some more clothes. I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Raymond, that's another word for clothes, too. Raymond. Y'all remember how Paul used to say you got to put off that old garment, put on a new garment, put off that old man, put on a new man. Remember how Paul talks about that in some of his epistles? The same thing Jesus is doing right here for our lives. I'm gonna get you out of them filter clothes. And see how well do he accuse you that. When I done cleansed you up, and when I done gave you a change of clothes. What the devil is gonna say now? Because see, when Jesus clean on us, hallelujah. When he cleansed us up, what the devil, how the devil gonna accuse you when he sees that what you got on and what your life has now become, it's all been because of Jesus. Ain't nothing he can say about this. But get rebuke. Let me read that again. That was good to me. And he said, and he after that spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from me. Take them off of me. Because you know why they had to take them off of them? Because we don't have the power to clean up our own lives. We don't have the power to cleanse ourselves, we don't have the power to take off these old garments, that old lifestyle. That's gonna have to be done for us by Jesus. We can't change our own lives. Take away the physical garments from it. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused out iniquity to pass from you. Hallelujah. You know what that means? Iniquity is that hidden sin, them sins that we try. God will take up all out of our life. You just let y'all we got to let him do that. Let him have that iniquity, y'all. Brother, sister, let him have that sin. Let him have them iniquity so that he can cause them to pass away. And you better thank him for cause them to pass away. Because if they passed away from your life, that means when the books open, they ain't gonna be written down nowhere in the books either. Because they don't been passed away, they've done been forgiven. So you think God, when he passed away something we don't need, you better thank him. Because that means they ain't gonna be nowhere in the books to be read off on your when it gets to your name in judgment, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Do you know? Lord, have messy. We need to go dig out. I want y'all to get your spiritual minds on him. Do you know what kind of change of raiment, change of clothes that the Lord can put on us, that he got to put on us, that we don't realize what he got when he put them on us? Yo lie. Listen at me and believe what I just often told you. When Jesus dressed you, hear me, when Jesus dress you and put a change on your life, you will never be the same every.
SPEAKER_01When God changed your life through Christ, and you let him do what he wants to do by cut you out.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonAll you do is just surrender, just keep surrendering, put him and put him on me, Jesus. Dress me, Jesus. Your life will never be the same ever again. You ain't gonna want to go back to that same old stuff ever again. Verse 5. And I said, It says, This is the angel of the Lord still talking, this Jesus still talking, and I said, Let them put a Samada up on his head. Now I know we don't know what that is, but that's like a that's like a a priestly headdress, a turban, like they used to wear back then, but the good stuff, that good, that good headdress, put that on his head for this food for this was for Joshua because he was a high priest, and this headdress, this might be something most that the high priest wore. God Jesus was giving him back his office, giving him back his position, that's the high priest. Because now it cleaned your life up, now it'll change your clothes, now you're no longer filthy now, side of God, and you can now step back into that role and position I called you to be. And a part of your dress, I got you got to wear the headdress that signifies the office of the high priest. Don't that book tell us we are a royal priesthood? That we're a priest before the Lord. And it's the same way with Joshua, this the high priest Joshua. God wanted him to look the parts of his new life through Christ, through the angel of the Lord. Put on a proper dress. But a high priest wore a headdress when you saw them coming in the room, you knew they were the high priest. So the angel of the Lord is saying, and I said, let them set a fair. That's family beautiful in Hebrew and Greek. Might upon his head. So they set a fair mitter upon his head and clothed him with garments. They did just what Jesus said. And the angel of the Lord stood by. Jesus stood by why. See, while we our lives are changing, while God is changing us and do what he wants to be, Jesus is standing by, watching. Making sure the servants, the angels, other angels, do what they're supposed to be doing the right way. He's gonna make sure it's done. Because he's gonna stand by there and watch. He's gonna see right now, see, we see we're so slow that we don't realize because we don't stay, we don't stay that keep that spiritual mind alive. We don't realize how long Jesus has been standing by watching our lives through our spiritual development, through our growth in him. Because he has he has been the one that has been orchestrating the whole thing, and we had no idea. Jesus has been watching our lives, he's watching your life, he's watching how you grow, he's watching how you develop, he's watching what you go through, what you take for him, what you suffer for him, when you're gonna humiliate to him. He's watching because he's standing by. Because he's gonna use all that to develop you and I into what he will have us to do. Another reason he's standing by, because he ain't just finna let the devil do any and anything and everything to you. He's standing there. The angel of the Lord, did he say he's standing by? I mean he's standing there, he ain't just standing there, he's watching.
SPEAKER_01And the angel of the Lord stood by. Verse 6.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonAnd the angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying, Now, after he uncleaned up Joshua, now here's my part. Now get ready. He won't let he let Joshua Scott free. But he done did what he's supposed to do. God, Jesus done did his point. He done cleaned his eyes up. He done caused his nigga to pass from him. He done changed his clothes, his life didn't change. He done put the headdress on his head to signify his offense as one of the high priests of the law. But now the angel got something he wants to say to Joshua. But take it as he's talking to you. This is what he's saying to you and that. Thus says the Lord of hosts. This is what verse 6 says, The Angel Lord protest unto Joshua. Other words, I gotta tell you from Joshua now. If you want to stay this way, this is what you got to do. Now he's gonna tell him what God said. This is Jesus telling him when he said, that's another another name for God, too, if y'all don't know. You read your old book. The Lord, God is a lot of times it's called the Lord of hosts. The Lord of hosts. Let's talk about God. And this is the angel of the Lord calling God the Lord of hosts. He's talking, he's finna say, because this is what God wants us to know. Verse 7. Thus says the Lord of hosts, if thou wilt walk in my way, here it is. Now here I pause it. You got to stay safe now. You gotta walk in his way, you gotta walk according to the book, you gotta walk according to the word now. But listen what he says. If see, that's predicated on what you do or what you don't do. But if you do this, because you some of us, some people in the last day gonna want to go back and put their old 50 garments back on. But if they had to stay saved, and if they have to want to see Jesus, so Jesus has to put this together because the nature of man is fickle. We fall off, we turn back, we go back. We didn't dabble, we one foot in and one foot out. So Jesus had to say this, here, and if you take this seriously, you won't God bad enough, you're gonna do this. He said, If thou will walk in my way, not your ways, not your ways, not your ways at all, my ways, if thou will walk in my ways, and if thou will keep my charge, what my book, if you just do what this book done told you, live how I told you to live. What I have charged you to do as being saved, and charged you to do as being a child of God, it's what I have charged you to be as a high priest, a royal priesthood. We got a charge, y'all. We got a responsibility to stay saved and live saved in this world, y'all. We ain't just saying it just to be saved. We have a responsibility to keep the charge. If thou will keep my charge. This is what's gonna happen for you, Joshua. This is what's gonna happen, you and I. This is what's gonna happen for you, Richard. Then thou shalt also judge my house. Oh Lord. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Judge is how put your phones on mute, put your phones on me. You will judge my house and shall also keep my course. God is trying to like it's not like he put up, he got to put his chariot over him, over his stuff. If though, if you walk in his way and keep his charge, do what you folks do, live safe. And I this is what God said is a promise that God will do, and I will give the place to walk among these that stand by. I give you a place to walk among. Even them that's standing by watching your life. I give you place to even walk among them, among among the angels. But this is what you got to do. You got to live in according to what I've asked you to live. Now I'm that read, you got to read the rest of that third chapter and third time. But I wanted to give you enough to know that we gotta stop letting off and stop accusing yourself. You mean some people beat their own self up. Yeah, you did it, but you don't do that no more. You was in sin, you was in darkness. Yeah, something you done slept with other people, huh? Slept with other people, why? You done done a little stealing, you done done some drugs, you done done a little drinking, you done done a little homonging and fornicating, but that's not who you are no more. You done did some lying. That's not who you are no more. Accept the change of garments and the change of ramp that Jesus has for your life and live accordingly to that. To the new birth, because you have been born again. So many of us remember that story in the Bible I love so much. Y'all know when they caught that woman in the bare ass. She had been sleeping with other men's other women's husbands. She was a hard lot. And they called her. I was thinking, well, if they called her, seemed like to me, they called her in the act, they called both of them. But they only drove her out in the court in front of everybody. Call is cold. That means calling the hat. He said she was calling the act. Now she caught in the act. She was calling the act with him. What him at? But anyway, long story short. And they accused her. We know the story. So Jesus was gonna condemn them. But Jesus don't do that. He now, I told y'all, we are accused, but Jesus is not finna condemn us. Because we're on the grace right now. But we need to hurry up and get up on the grace because when he comes back now, oh, he's gonna be in a judgmental state. But at this time, when he was on earth, and then in this time that he's done back to the rising father, we're still upon the grace. And we can be forgiven. Well, you know, Jesus. He said, Well, he who was out sin, let him cast the first stone. But I want to read to you just two verses from that passage. That's in St. John, the eighth chapter. Just some time. Read that whole eighth chapter, John. But just let me read these two verses, which will tie into what we're talking about tonight. Accused but not condemned. St. John chapter 8, verses 10 and 11. Just them two verses, all I want.
unknownSt.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonJohn chapter 8, 10 and 11. When Jesus had lift up himself, because he remember, he asked, okay, let him, would I say catch the first stone? And the Bible tells you he Jesus took back down and started writing back on the ground. He paid him the thing. But when he got up and lifted up himself and saw no one but the woman, where nobody's left standing up but him and the woman, he said unto her, since she was the one they accused. Listen at this now. Put yourself down. Woman, where are those thine accusers? Those that got the devil's spirit, because that accusing spirit comes from the devil. What them devils that was trying to accuse you of sin when they know they full of sin? What they? Where are thine accusers? Has no man condemned thee? Look at Jesus now. He's finished showing some love here. He's finished some love. And she talked about the dad. She said, No man, Lord, nobody here. Accused me. Ain't nobody here condemned me. Listen, Jesus, here come the love now. You finna show the love. Because this one was calling that. And she didn't the first time she's been doing this. She's been doing this a while.
SPEAKER_01Because she was a harlot. Prostitute. But listen what Jesus said. He knowing all things.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonListen at Jesus. And Jesus said unto her, Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonNeither do I condemn me. Wait, Jesus, now, if anybody can condemn her, you got the authority and the power too. Because you know the sins of everybody. Uh-uh. Neither do I. Hallelujah. I feel that thing. I feel that thing. Because some of us might not have been horribly some prostitutes, but we done did some other things. We done did some things. But Jesus still said, Do you hear? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Neither do I. I'm Jesus. Yeah. I'm the angel of the Lord. Neither do I condemn me. Because we're under grace. And I came to save sinners from their sin. I came to save the world. I ain't come to condemn it. I want to save you. Well you can stop living like you live. I can't do that and condemn you too. Neither do I condemn thee. Hallelujah. Why did you do something for me, though? I need to do something for me. Go live your life. Do what you gotta do. But I want you to sin no more. Don't do no more sin. Leave them women's husbands alone.
SPEAKER_01Leave them me as wives alone. Leave them alone.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonDon't sin no more. Stop sinning. Stop lying. Stop backbiting. Stop walking in pride. Stop being self-righteous.
SPEAKER_01Don't sin no more. Stop being high-minded.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonBecause neither do I condemn thee. If you would just what what did what the Lord, like the Lord just told in the book of Zara, I told Joshua? If thou wilt walk in my way, if you just live like I want you to live. Live according to my word. You can't be condemned living righteously. There is no law against living saved in the eyes of God. But you got to live it. Go and don't sin no more, David. But they want to kill you. They might be killing you. They were finna stone you death right here. You finna die, and you died in your sin. Called that. But I done come, I lose. It was a good thing they brought you to me and then take you there somewhere behind the building and done. But they brought you to me. And that was your salvation. Because of me. They could not condemn you. Because see, I'm standing by. I was standing by. They think that's finna condemn you and I'm standing right here. Because when I'm standing by your life, the verdict.
SPEAKER_01Whatever.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonLaws that they want to condemn you by. It is null and void. Because I am standing by. Yes, you were accused, but no, nobody condemned you. Neither do I condemn you. But I want you to live right. I want you to live holy. I want you to live according to my will. I want you to live according to my word. And I will bless you and give you a place in my house, in my courts, in my temple. And you and your brothers who have been accused day and night by the devil will shine as lights in the world. Because the light, the very light that is shining through you, is the light of my son. All for the world to see. I want them to see the Jesus in you. I want you to see the Jesus in you, in you, in you, in you, all over this world.
SPEAKER_01Those whose garments, whose filthy garments have been cleansed and changed, and have been given a godly garment. A holy garment.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonBecause it's only through me that anybody who has been stood accused can no longer be accused. It's only through me. It's only through me that those who have been judged can no longer be judged because of me.
SPEAKER_01Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonAnd as long as I'm standing by, your life, wherever you go, wherever you may be, when you go out, when you come in, when you lay down, when you wake up, I'm standing back. To keep your mind focused on who you are and also on who I am in your life.
SPEAKER_01And thus says the Lord of hosts.
