We thank God this morning. I thank God for all of you. Hallelujah. For joining me this morning on this first Sunday morning of the month of September 2024. Thank God. We're getting closer to the end of another year, but we're yet here. And I'm so glad that we yet have a mind to serve God and to live for him in these last evil days. I know I do, but I'm trying my best. To keep on, as the old saying you say, keep on pressing. Keep on calling on in the name of the Lord. Praise God. Let's get into the words of God this morning because I like to utilize people's time rightly when they share or take out of their schedule to join on our conference line. I want to deal with a subject this morning, area, and I pray that it would be a blessing to you because it blesses me.
SPEAKER_01We all know.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonGod has many names throughout the Bible. And they are mentioned in the Bible. Such names as Elohim, Cherim. In the Hebrew Bible, that means the living God. He is also called Abba, which means father. Meaning the most high God. El Roy, meaning the God who sees. Jehovah Rapha, meaning the Lord, our healer. Jehovah Nisi, meaning the Lord, our banner or our standard. Jehovah Shalom, meaning the Lord our peace. A lot of us need some shalom, Jehovah Shalom, in our life, because we don't have the peace that we need. Jehovah Jaire. Meaning the Lord our provider. And this is the name of which we will come to understand better on this morning. The area of study that I want to undergo and undertake this morning. The area of understanding Him as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our provider. David, hallelujah. I have to try to contain myself, y'all. I hear lately I've been the launching that's been with me. David said, Hallelujah. In the book of Psalm concerning the name of the Lord. He said, Oh Lord, oh Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth. Psalm is Psalms chapter 8. Right after that, he goes into Psalms chapter 9 and says, And they, hallelujah, hallelujah, that know thy name will put their trust in thee. Listen again. They that know his name. They will put their trust in thee. For thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that's decreased. We're gonna talk about the name Jehovah John this morning. We need to know that name. As a foundation this morning, for Jehovah John. In the book of Hebrews. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01Chapter 4.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonTimothy writes, he he wrote he wrote the book of Hebrews. Timothy writes said, seeing then, talking about Jesus, that we have a great high priest that is path into the heavens.
SPEAKER_01Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our possession.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonWhat he is letting us know, he's prepping us and priming us to understand that we have somebody on our side, and he is our great high priest. And even though he has passed into the heavens and gone back to heaven, sitting on the right hand of the Father, that still don't mean he can't be reached. That still don't mean he can't provide for us. Because distance has no effect of what our God, Jehovah Jara, can do through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Seeing then, he says, that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. That word profession in the Greek means let us hold fast to what we have confessed we know about the Lord. Hallelujah. Let us hold fast to what we have acknowledged in the Lord of what He has done for us, what He has already provided for us in our lives. Hallelujah. Let us hold fast there. Don't let nobody take away what you know about the Lord. Don't let nobody un take away the knowledge of your Jehovah, Jehovah Java, your provider has provided for you, and you know he has provided for you in your life. The writer goes on to say in verse 15, but we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmity. Hallelujah. But was at all points tempted, like as we are yet without sin. What I want to portray this morning and get us to also go into a deeper understanding, if you will, is not to just think about God providing unto us natural things. There are so many things spiritually that we need the Lord to provide. And those things we should be seeking. And we're able to have those things, not only because God has them, but He has an advocate on our side who can relate to us in the feelings of our infirmity. Don't let nobody fool you. When you have a need, you feel that. Don't think she can't feel that. Come on, man. Come on. Your children, when they were young, they said, Mama, I'm hungry, Dad, I'm hungry. And you can tell in the tone of their calls, they ready. You can feel that. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you know they have a need for that hungry to be satisfied. Now, what you think when we go to God when we say, Lord, he feels these pain. Lord, I got a sickness in my body. Lord, I need your help. Lord, I need you to lift this burden. Don't think he can feel that. And he can feel it, not only feel it, but he is able to provide what we need to help us in with that need. Because he is Jehovah's God. The writer goes on to say, y'all, listen to what he said. We have not a high priest which cannot be touched. With the fears of our friends, Jesus can be touched. Otherwise, he can relate to what we're going through. Why? Because the Bible just told us, because he was in all points tempted, like as we are. Other words, with him coming down here, dwelling in a human body, he felt what humans feel. Those of us who have a body, but the Bible said, Yet he had he had his without seeing.
SPEAKER_01But he showed us can relate that we have need in this life.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonVerse 16, last verse of this foundation that I'm laying this morning by Jehovah Jared. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace. Hallelujah. Otherwise, know what you need to go to get what you need. And when you know, like Dan just said, the name of the Lord. And he said, They that know thy name will put their trust. When you know what name to put your trust in. Like Tim said here in Hebrew, you can come bold into the throne of grace because you know that's where your needs can be met in. See, we're not out here hidden and missing. Those of us who have been with the Lord for a while, those who have walked with the Lord for a period of time, we know exactly where to go to get what we need. If you need your faith to increase, if you need more power, if you need more Holy Ghost, if you need whatsoever in evil, you know you can find it at the throne of grace. This is what we say. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace. Why, Tim? That we may obtain mercy. Because you know, whatever you go, you're looking for, you can obtain it there through the mercy of God. This is what he said. This is what now, this is what we gonna get and find grace to do what? To help in time of need. Come on now. Here, here, here what we're gonna branch off. And I'm gonna say, in time of need, you need to know who's able to provide and fulfill that need, and his name, this is one of his names, is Jehovah John. He is the one that can help all of us in time of need. And if you live here, if you live long enough on this earth, I don't care who you're to come from, who your folks is. If you live any period of time on this earth, you're gonna have need. And I might as well tell you this too. Those needs that we need, I don't care whether they're natural or spiritual, we are not able to fulfill those needs of our own self, of our own power. We got to go to God. Because there are certain things in this life. God got to be the one to do it. I say God got to be see most of us with good sense and not hold and don't have let pride carb our mentality. Most of us already know that we are not rich enough, nor able enough of ourselves to provide unto ourselves a lot of the things in this life we so hopefully desire and have need of. We ain't got that kind of money. I know we go about trying to kill ourselves, trying to do it. You know that say people got this cliche that trying to make ends meet. But truth be told, keep on living. Them ends don't never meet. Not if you trying to make them meet, they don't never meet. That's why we always say trying to make ends. See, but see, if we look into Jehovah's God, not only is he able to make them ends meet, but he can keep them together. What David just told us, they that know thy name, put thy trust in you. See, we got to start knowing how to do things when it comes to trusting Jehovah John, when it comes to trusting in God. We got to totally know that it's got to be him. If it's gonna be done, it's got to be him, not us. We'll run ourselves ragging, we'll run ourselves crazy, we'll run ourselves down, trying to do this stuff in life of our own selves. When the simplest thing, we all we need to do is trust in God to be our provider, to be our Jehovah Java. See, and not being able to provide such things as we need, both natural and spiritual, now that does not do away with the reality of the need. Knowing that we ain't able, the need is still there. What are you able to do something about is there? And some of us can't move it. Because the need is every day. Them children is home every day. Your lights and water need to be on every day. You need gas in the car every day. You need clothes on your back every day. The reality of the need is there. But some of those needs sometimes become a burden if we try to fix it ourselves and do it ourselves. But when you have a working knowledge of who Jehovah Jari is, you'll start putting your trust in God and say, Lord, you my high priest. I can touch you with the feeling of mine from you know what I'm going through. You can relate to me, and I'm trusted in you, Lord. Thanks be unto our Lord God all through our Lord God Almighty, through our Lord the same Jesus Christ. We have Him. Hallelujah. Who is called by the name Jehovah John? We have him in our lives. The Lord is our provider. I'm trying to, I'm trying to dig that deep into. That's why I keep saying it. We got to get it in our heart, we got to get it in our spirit that the Lord is our provider. The Lord is our provider of both the natural and spiritual things of which we need each and every day. Is that a word? Did I say it right? One-sided thinking. The thinking that we are the ones that's doing what we do, that's causing things to happen to ourselves. No, it ain't you. Uh-uh. Don't never think it's you. God the one, if you being blessed, I'm telling you, it's God. If you be provided grossly, now God let you be the one go to the grocery store and get it, but he the one provided. He made a way for it to be provided for. Don't ever think it's you. Listen, that's why I I I push humility so hard to stay humble before the Lord. Because whatever we got, it came from whatever we got came from the provider. Whatever we got, it came from Jehovah Jack. Because he provided. My brothers and sisters, listen to me now. What is so beautiful about the Lord being our provider is that he already knows exactly what we need. See, you see, we think we know what we need. But I'm here to tell you, God knows exactly what we need, both naturally and spiritually. And the good thing about him, I'm gonna show you the word of God for a minute. The word of God is gonna tell you that he knows for you, he may. Why? Because he God. That's the omniscient side of Jehovah Job. Omniscient means he knew everything, he all knew. The beautiful thing about the Lord being operated that he already knows exactly what you and I really need. Before we come to him and ask for what we need, our omniscience, Lord, our omniscience, God, our omniscience, Jehovah Java, he already knows. Oh, he likes for you to come to him, but he already knows what you're gonna say, he already knows what you're gonna answer, and what you have need of already. But he loves us, come to him. Wow, see, I think I showed anyway, him knowing and what still wants you to come to him. God loves for us to come to him in faith, because he's faithful, please. See, here's the thing about let me let me break down to you. If you go to God, whose name you putting your trust in, coming to him and not and not thinking you gotta call every H boom coon, you know, not calling A boom, but you coming to him shows him that that's what your faith is. That tells him who you're putting your faith in is him because you're coming to him, and you're not coming to him, darling, you're not coming to him, not believing, you're coming to him simply because you know he ate. Hallelujah. How many of y'all know the Lord is able? All that stuff he done done for us. We all know without a doubt that he is, so yeah, we know we go to him. Here comes the whole here comes y'all, because I know you ate. I know you got it. Our greatest need, but it's giving me that. I got to try to turn us a little bit away from always thinking natural things. But see, so much that's that's the biggest thing where I live. Gross is cold as you for the church, bill paid, cargo insurance, rufoid, natural thing. And I don't know things, but important, don't get me wrong. They are important pollution, but there is an area in our lives that there is a greater need than all those things, and I'm gonna tell you this moment. Tell you right now when we tap into this understanding of what I'm just gonna say, when we tap into the understanding of knowing, pick this greatest need area first, God will show up, take care, and add to your life those other things that we prioritize as being most important. In other words, what I'm saying, if we just speak the need of Jesus first, you have God's word, then all that other stuff is gonna be added to. But we got to start putting the clock before the heart and start realizing our greatest need, none of that stuff is important without Jesus. Our greatest need is that we need the Lord to be first in our lives. That's our greatest need. We come into this world needing the faith, we come into this world needs Jesus, and he who is Jehovah Jarreh has provided him. He has made him available for all of us. And see, he got to be first in our lives and in our hearts. You trying to get that paycheck and them because you don't work some overtime, that should be the first thing in your heart and your life for getting what you want. Because, okay, I took I'm so talking. So what if the job shut down? What if the job lay off? What if you get injured and can't go to work for a few months? I'm here to tell you that no matter what scenario, no matter what situation your life is confronted with or what you may have gone through, it's not gonna alter not one eye holding what God can still do. Because what God does is not predicated on none of those other things, He can still yet provide, if you ain't able to go and clock in nowhere, God can still take care of you. I know what I'm talking about. I know what I'm talking about. If the need for Jesus, you guys are gonna get Jesus first. If if the need for Jesus is not sought after first, every other need is pointless and meaningless for us to be satisfied with. You still ain't gonna be satisfied. You're gonna have all that stuff, but you ain't gonna have no Jesus, you ain't you're not gonna be satisfied.
SPEAKER_01You can't be satisfied.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonBecause those are just things, but Jesus is life. There is no life in things, there is no living in things, our living is in Christ Jesus, and it is He, the Lamb of God, who our Lord and God Jehovah Jacob has provided. Even though the word of God tells us that our high priest has gone up to heaven with the Father, talking about Jesus, we must always remember that he can still be touched from where we are and from where he is. Do you not know Jesus can still touch us and provide for us all the way from heaven to earth? That ain't stopping him from doing for us because he up there with God, his presence, heartily, his power, and his provisions are yet here available for us here on earth, and we need to always understand that he can still from heaven, provide unto us what is needed in our time of need. Because we're putting our trust in his name, because we know him to be our Lord, because we know him to be our God, and we know him to be our Jehovah God. Y'all remember the story about Abraham and Isaac when the Lord done told him to go up there and sacrifice that book, and Abraham, who was full of the spirit of God, obeyed God. See, when you know God to be your provider, and you know all that he has done for you, you ain't got no problem doing what he asked you to do. But see, some must feel hard here. But when you get God in you the right way, you ain't gonna have a problem obeying God. God told Abraham, take up. I'm paraphrasing to make a long story short because you have to read this in Genesis, the 22nd chapter of Genesis, where you find this story in the word of God. God told him what to do, told him what to take, and then told him to sacrifice his son. But I didn't know what was going on. He just glad to be with dad. I'm going where dad's going. That's how son is with father. And but then, but Isaac was old enough to know the difference. He done been around Abraham long enough, though. In the Hebrew people, how they sacrifice to God. The killing of the uh goats, the the uh sheep and the oxen and all that other stuff. And Isaac knew they were going to sacrifice to the Lord in the smetch of flake, but he got to looking at things and said, Okay, you see what we all got. He said, He asked his father, he said, My father. Abraham said, Here I, my son. Like says, He said, and I look now. Behold, I see the fire that we're gonna use, and I see the wood. Well, he said, in verse 7, he said, But where is the lamb? For the burn offering. Well, the lamb then. See, we still need a lamb, we still need jeep. We we we still need some ass that's still mixing it. It's missing from this from some of the the equation here. I got these side of the wood. But what we what we gonna put up there? What's gonna supply the need of the sacrifice? Abraham being full of wisdom. He says uh unto Isaac, he said, Hallelujah. He said, My son, he said, he said, God. He said, God will provide himself a land. God gonna provide, not me, not you. God gonna provide. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And when he got ready to put put Isaac up there and got him tied down and stretched them down up there, uh, and were finished the sacrifices, the Bible said Abraham lifted up his eyes. Hallelujah. And look, and behold, behind him, he said uh he saw a ram caught in the thicket by his horn, saw a ram caught in the bushes by his horn, it couldn't get loose. And the Bible said Abraham went and took the ram and offered him for a burnt offering instead of his son. But if you don't remember nothing else, remember verse 14 in Genesis 22 and 14. When Abraham fully realized and saw what God had just done by providing what he needed, the Lamb that he provided. And in our situation, the Jesus that he provided. The Bible said, and Abraham called the Hallelujah, the name of that place, Jehovah God. And it is said to this day, you go to that place today, it's still called, hallelujah. It's still called Jehovah's God. In the mouth of the Lord, it shall be seen. See, you look right now in the place where God has provided for you and I, that place is still called Jehovah's God. That place where you had a need, that place where something was missing, you still know that that place you can go to that is still called Jehovah God, that place that is still called God. That place where you had a need. I had the wound in the fire, I had this much lord, but I was still showing something. But what was lacking, it was no problem for you because you still provided yourself, hallelujah, for your servant, for those who put their trust in your name, you have provided what's missing, and what's missing in a lot of our lives is Jesus. But I'm here to tell you this morning, Jehovah Jirah wants us to have the lamb he has provided. That's Jesus. We have need of Jesus in our lives. That's the first need needs to be lent. Him who God has provided as his own sacrificial lamp for us, because there was a need upon us of needing a savior. Amen that's gonna do us, y'all. Come on now. I'm gonna tell y'all. I don't care what this world throws out at us. I don't know care what kind of sad or new thing come up on this earth, ain't nothing gonna be able to take the place of the Jesus we need in our lives. Ain't nothing gonna be able to take the place of that savior who is Jesus Christ, whom God has provided in our life. Oh, I know the world trying to make us substitute for Jesus. I know the world is trying to uh uh create for us a different God, make things available for us to put our trust in other than God, or if the world is full of stuff that you can use to replace God, but I'm here to tell you it's not gonna work. Don't be nobody's fool, don't be a fool behind the world, know that it got to be Jesus and only Jesus, he is the only thing that can feel that need that we of what we miss in our lives in giving us Jesus, Jehovah Jara shows us that our spiritual need of what we should seek to be supplied first. Let us supply Jesus in your life first. So when you do have a natural need, all you gotta do is call it, all you gotta do is let the Father know, and he'll provide it for you. Our spiritual need is what we should seek to be supplied first above all else, because it is only through him that all other needs are met and provided for by Jehovah John. See, you get Jesus. What I'm saying, you get Jesus. See, our natural blessings come through our spiritual Jesus. See, we're trying to have the natural blessing without having the spiritual Jesus. That's back us.
SPEAKER_01Everything got to come through him.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonWe can wonder all we want to as to why certain needs in our lives don't seem to have been provided for us yet. After all these years, I still ain't got it here. I still ain't just here. I just suspend my will. 20 years done gone well. 30 years done. And it still seemed like something next, still seemed like something had been provided for. Why ain't I got this yet? Okay, could it possibly be that our first need of Jesus has not been met before we began seeking our natural need? Could it be possible that our first need for Jesus hasn't been met yet? Before we went out seeking our own natural need. You better get Jesus first. You better let Jehovah Jireh provide, who is the our provider, not only just slip to him to provide the food on the table and a roof over your head, you better seek the him to provide unto you Jesus. And see, and I if those of us in our right mind, we cannot say that Jesus is not available to us because we know that he is. Stop expecting them. Because you ain't gonna make God do it the way you want it done. He's just come on now. You mean the time how many people still thank God I would do this for them when they ain't living up nothing for them? We know he don't live, but see, we won't we want the blessings and the goodness that God got to offer, but we want to keep doing what we're doing and living how we want to live. I told y'all before, you're not gonna play God like we played man and woman mankind. We're not gonna play God like we play people. We cannot say that Jesus is not available to us because Jehovah has provided him for us. But what we should maybe ask ourselves is whether or not Jesus is the need we won't meet. You better ask me, is Jesus what you really want? Because I know my Bible says God will behold, He knows He will not withhold no good thing from you. If we seek in Him right, God wouldn't ain't doing withholding from us. Our ways is what withholding God, pushing God's goodness away from us. You remember how Jesus said this in Let me let Jesus talk to y'all a little bit. You remember if you ever read, and I love Matthew, the sixth chapter, Matthew. That's one of my one of my favorite chapters. And I'm gonna reveal something to y'all. Hold on for this wisdom, grab this wisdom. I'm gonna get you, I'm gonna get to you. You remember what I said, the whole six chapters do it, but let me just let me just take two or three verses in Matthew 6 chapter, where Jesus just says, take, he said, therefore, take no thought. Say pause right there. Just pause right. Take, he said, therefore, take no thought. Don't let these kind of thoughts come in your head that cause you to say something that you don't need to be saying, not if you believe it in the in the Jehovah John. Therefore, take no thought saying you know some of us, especially color folk, you know how we'll say something and it'll it'll come out of our mouth. We're gonna stop that. Because when you release certain words, I know I teach this. When we say certain words, we speak them on our own line. He said, Therefore, this Jesus talking now. You gotta take my word, take Jesus' word, therefore, take no thought, say, don't say this. Bottom line is this, we're gonna tell y'all finally give y'all some wisdom. Once you realize the power of Hallelujah, and I do mean the power. Once we realize the power of God, our Jehovah Java. Now, some of y'all gonna maybe say, take this, some of y'all ain't. There are certain things from that point on we should never ever say alone. Like what, Jesus? Like, what shall we eat? Young folks say that no more. What shall we drink? What will the shall we be cold? There are certain things we should no longer say once we have stepped over into the knowledge of who Jehovah Java is. Listen to Jesus. Verse 32 said, For after all these things do the Gentiles say, he said, What he said is all this stuff in the world, I all I all people think speaking all this kind of stuff, trying to run after hard things. But he says to you and I who have put our trust in the name of the Lord, like David just said, for our he said, for your heavenly father, knowing that you have need of all these things. I'm gonna show you some. Hold on. Being listen, being that the Lord is our Jehovah John, I'm gonna say this. There are certain things that we have said when we have allowed ourselves to worry, when we have allowed ourselves to fret, when we have allowed ourselves to have a fear of something, don't know if we're gonna have enough money to get the deal from the light gets off, and have caused us to complain and murmur. See, here's the thing about Jehovah Job. Now that we are made aware of him, these kinds of words that we say when we get in those situations should no longer be a part of our vocabulary and should no longer be spoken, and never ever say it again.
SPEAKER_01I need somebody to grab that whip from there.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonSee, ain't no need to there's no longer any use to say those things now that you know who Jehovah Java is. To your provider, our provider is with us all the time. So I don't need to say, like you said, he said, don't take no self-saint. I don't need to say, Lord, we got no foodie. I don't need to say that no more because If Jehovah Java with me, I don't need no have a drink and wash it down. I don't need to say that no more because Jehovah Java is with me. I don't even know. Say, Lord, I need a roof for my head, I need clothes for my back because Jehovah is Jarre is with me, and Jesus himself now said to take no thought saying that stuff. Don't say it no more. Don't talk like that no more. Not if you know who your Jehovah Jireh is. See, now that we have said it in, now that we have been made aware of who Jehovah Jireh is, these kinds of words should no longer be important. Vocabulary and should no longer be spoken and never ever say it again. Now that's gonna be hard for a lot of people. See a lot of people say, Pastor, you tell me not to talk no more. No, I ain't tell you not to talk no more. I'm telling you what not to say if you don't talk no more when it comes to your Jehovah Java. See, with the spirit of our Jehovah Java present in our lives to speak of certain needs, and if God cannot provide for them, it's spiritually disrespectful. Because all our needs can be met through him, especially with him right there being present with you and I. If he's right there with you, you ain't got to be saying stuff like that. You don't have to say it because you already know you got a need for it. You don't have to worry because you're right there with you, you don't have to fret and fear because your Jehovah Jireh, which is your God, has not forsaken you. Let me go back over there and read this again. What David said. I just told y'all what David said. In Psalms 9 and 10, and they that know thy name, hallelujah, hallelujah, will put their trust in thee. For thou, Lord, David said, for thou, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee. You have to talk like that because God has not forsaken you, and he will never forsake us when we put not trust in him. With the spirit of our Jehovah will present our lives to speak of certain needs. With a word retone, with a fearful tone in your voice, with a doubtful frame of mind. That's what he's talking about. Yeah, if you can say I'll go down here and get some broches, because we need some more bread in the house. But you ain't saying that in fear. You say that with assurance, because you know when you go to show, you're gonna come back with some bread. You didn't say that in fear, but you didn't say that in doubt. You spoke your needs, knowing that your broad provider, who does your Jehovah's Job, is with you, and he's gonna provide it. And I'm going to the store in faith because I know he got it. We're gonna get some something to eat today. But so many people they talk in a word which on level Jesus they take no thought. Saying them is being fearful, worried about what somebody's gonna do. No, your trust is in God.
SPEAKER_01They were just told it. They that know the man but it put their trust in him. If we sit up and let ourselves talk in those tones as though God is not with us, that is spiritual disrespect.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonBecause to talk to God as though he came for God, that's the best thing you ever read the book of James today. He said, go and let that person think they're gonna get nothing. Because you came with the wrong frame of mind, you came with the wrong heart. You don't come to God like this.
SPEAKER_01You come to God knowing what he able to do.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonJesus says that our heavenly father knows that we have need of all these things. God knows what you got. God knows when he put us on the earth what we're gonna have need of. He knows when he put you here, what you were gonna need. God ain't crazy. He knows all things. Your heavenly father, Jesus, knowing that we have need of all these things before we even ask him. How many folks know what you need before you ask? Nobody but God, that's that kind of problem. How is it? How is this then possible? Because God is our Jehovah God and He's with us in all kinds through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Okay, and if we know that he is with us, then we ought to know that he knows our needs. God ain't just not got in this business of taking care of his people, he's been taking care of his people since the beginning of our existence, mankind's existence before the foundation of the world. As I leave you with this hint concerning our Jehovah, know this that no matter what our natural need may be while we live upon this earth, our need for Jesus should be greater. I want us to get that in our spirit because we've been having things backwards. You got to have God first. You need Jesus first, because what you're gonna need now is gonna have to come from them. So it only makes good spiritual sense to get Jesus part in your heart first. And I'm not talking about get Jesus in your heart hidden and midst. Believe in one day, but forgot forget all about it the rest of the week. Come on now, come on now. That ain't how you do Jesus. If we are not seeking his kingdom and righteousness as our first need, listen to me. If we're not seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness as our first need, we have our priority of need backwards. Jehovah Jireh don't feel fulfilled backwardsness, Jehovah Jireh.
SPEAKER_01Don't feel fulfilled backward need.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonFirst, let us accept our need for Christ, whom our Jehovah Jireh has provided, and all these other things shall be according to the Bible, shall be added unto us by him. I'll read for you. Go back to Matthew 16, chapter, six chapter.
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry, Matthew 6 chapter, and you'll find two verses that read like this.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonAnd it's Jesus talking. But see ye first. Switch over to doing it according to Jesus' way, switch over to doing it according to God's way, and it shall happen for you because it's written. But see ye first. See, some of us got a problem with knowing knowing what category things should be in our life. Some of us have a problem with knowing what should be first, and what should be and lit. See, we won't, we said Jesus is first, but our actions show that he ain't. You can't fool God like that. You would say that God got you first, but you go out the door every day, and your actions show that somebody else is first. Because your mind and your mindset are so focused on other things and not the Lord. That show God that you ain't got no first. But Jesus, the word still is gonna say it, and Jesus still is gonna say what he's saying even now. But seek ye first. The kingdom of God, it tells you what to seek first, and his righteousness. Get yourself right is what it's saying by putting Jesus first. If Jesus ain't right, ain't first in your life, you ain't doing right. That's not righteous. If Jesus is not first in your life, whom Jehovah Java has provided, you're doing wrong. You will live in an era. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, what Jesus, and all these things that you claim you want, all these things shall be not mighty, shall be added unto you. And what he's saying is, Jehovah Java is saying to us is he's not gonna mind adding unto you these things that you want. You know why? Because he sees you have followed his formula of being blessed by seeking his kingdom and his graciousness first, and when we do it according to God's word, he got no problem fulfilling his part of the bargain, if you let me say it like that. If you find yourself being obedient to the point God has asked you and I to do, he will have no problem fulfilling his part of the written word of which he has spoken. All these things shall be added unto you. And another thing, we'll leave that with you too. Let's too. When you read sixth chapter Matthew, we won't be worried about tomorrow. Because see, him who is our Jehovah Jared, he got tomorrow too. He's gonna provide for tomorrow too. Take left, therefore, no thoughts for the morrow. For the morrow shall take thoughts for the things of itself. Let the moral fight for itself. God got it sufficient until today.
SPEAKER_01Is the evil there? My brothers, my sisters, know who your Jehovah Jab is. Know God by that name.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonWhen you need things to be provided for in your life for your family, whether it be a natural need or a spiritual need, but it must be done according to his will. Other words, the way he has it laid out in his word, he is always gonna be Jehovah's God. But what we get from him must be in line with his word by keeping him first, by knowing how excellent his name is, by knowing the name of the Lord and putting our trust in that name, trusting in him, that if a need arise, our Jehovah, who is our provider, can provide for whatever needs you and I may have.
SPEAKER_01Because his word and his name is our proof that he is able to do just what we do.
Pastor Rickey D. DixonThe Lord our provider. God bless you. God bless you.
