James Moss
James is Director of Cyber Investigations at Addleshaw Goddard LLP.
James is a Senior Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity lawyer who specialises in helping organisations navigate complex and high-profile data protection, cyber and regulatory issues. He has extensive experience managing large-scale, multi-jurisdictional cyber and data incidents and advises clients throughout the full incident lifecycle, from preparedness and response through to regulatory investigations, enforcement action, and litigation.
Before returning to private practice, James held a senior leadership role at the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), serving as Director of Enforcement and General Counsel to Commissioner Elizabeth Denham.
James is a member of the NCSC's legal incident response group and the Platform Association's cybersecurity working group, and regularly shares insights on cyber risk, AI and data protection through articles, podcasts, and industry commentary.
