Joe: What's going on Marvelites? Welcome to Reading the Multiverse, a Marvel Comics journey presented by Earth's Mightiest Nerds. I am your host, Joe, and if this is your first time here, we are reading through one legendary Marvel Comics run at a Time, and we're trying our best to relate it to the MCU at the same time.

We have started with the first run. That made Marvel, Marvel, and that is a Fantastic four by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Today we have five issues of the Fantastic Four, and if this is your first time listening, I will do my best to clue in all the things that you're doing. But before we do that, if you are listening to this, the data that it drops, it is January 26th, 2026.

How are we already through January? It is bitterly cold pretty much across most of the United States. If you're not listening in the United States, uh, it might be cold where you are. It maybe it's summertime where you are if you're in the southern hemisphere. Um, and we're, where I live, I was supposed to get a bunch of snow, so I'm probably shoveling myself out, uh, as you're probably listening to this.

So there's that. Uh, with that being said, we are gonna get into the first issue for today. And from July of 1965, Fantastic 4 43 Lo!. There shall be an ending! Written by Stan Lee, penciled by Jack Kirby. Inked by Vince Colletta, and lettered by Artie Simek. Now this is, uh, the, I'm almost positive the last issue in this.

A and in the last issue we had, uh, Johnny under the guise of the wizard and the frightful four as well as the thing, and Reed and Sue have the thing, and they're running away as the wizard and Johnny are chasing after them. So with that being said, Johnny had set flames to kind of like the forest that, um.

Reed, Sue and Ben were running through, and that's pretty much where we ended. And if you listen to the last episode, I talked about how. How much better that Stan and Jack were getting at creating, uh, cliffhangers versus like always wrapping up the story. So I'm really liking the cliffhanger aspect of stuff.

However, I think that they need to do a little bit of a better job, uh, continuing the story. 'cause they kind of just like gli give the cliffhanger up right away for the most part. And it's just like resolved very quickly. So like in the beginning of this issue, they notice that as they're getting away read and.

Sue noticed that Johnny is a little bit more clumsy than usual, and that's when we learned, Sue apparently diffused the wizard's like brainwashing machine. So this whole time Johnny has been, has been pretending to be under the control of the Wizard. Um, I don't remember seeing Sue doing anything to the machine.

So again, I feel like Stan and Jack are just like. All right. We had a cliffhanger. Let's resolve it quickly. Like they don't let it burn slowly through the issue at all. I feel like that's what they need to work on. Even the wizard notices that Johnny's kind of clumsy. And so he and the rest of the frightful four figure out that Johnny, uh, has been lying and been pretending to be under the control of them.

So they, uh, knock Johnny out and that's that. So we go back to the Baxter building where Reed and Sue are trying to figure out what to do with Ben because he's still been brainwashed by the Wizard and he pretty much has it out to destroy the Fantastic four. So a reed creates this machine that looks like an old school submarine suit and puts it on Ben.

And tensions are high between him and Sue because apparently the smallest miscalculation will kill Ben. And then the only reason why I say that is because like Sue is like showing concern. And Reed's like, don't talk to me woman. This is like too much. I can't mess up. The small miscalculation will kill him.

And it's like Reed, once again, this is why I'm sh, I'm telling you people, Reed is not the best person. Do not side with Reed. So as Reed tries to bring Ben back to his old self, Ben wakes up and crushes the machine, which causes the electricity to go crazy. So Reed pulls it off and then at somehow gets shocked while doing this in the meantime.

But Sue stops it by turning off the electricity to. Their whole like lab or the entire Baxter building or something along those lines. But she throws that switch and Ben is no better because he's still unconscious. And uh, Reed almost died basically. So nothing, nothing. Game of that. Uh, and then we quickly take a weird turn in this issue where we see Dr.

Doom. Now. Dr. Doom has not been involved in this story whatsoever. To see him was, was interesting and we see that his hands are healing. Um, and if you didn't know, the last time we saw him was back in issue 40, uh, which was covered in last episode, and his hands were badly injured after fighting the thing.

And now he talks about getting revenge against the Fantastic Four, using his emotion charge array. We don't see Dr. Doom for the rest of this issue. Um, so then we go to the frightful four and they are landing on top of the Baxter building with their anti-gravity ship. And as they get out, Sandman is like, how are we gonna get in to the Wizard?

I'm sure it's like, so well secured. And I'm like Wizard, I mean, not Wizard Sandman. If you knew, only if you knew. The amount of times people just literally have walked into the Baxter building, uh, you would realize that it's not that secure. Like we've had multiple times where Namor has walked in without a problem.

Spider-Man has gotten in without a problem. Uh, I feel like there's someone else that I'm missing that's got in, but it is not secure. It is not secure. So Reed concludes that his device did work on Ben but isn't completely sure, and that's when the frightful force show up and present. Johnny as a hostage outside this outside the window and he's on this like large anti grab disc and the wizard threatens Sue and Reed.

To be under his control. And if they don't agree to do that, that they're going to release Johnny into space where obviously there's no oxygen and he will die. So that's when the thing wakes up and crushes the Wizard's Anti-gravity control, which then sets Johnny free. Um, so he's able to help out and you know, that's enough of a diversion for Reed and Sue to do their thing, to go up against the rest of the Fantastic Four.

Uh, I didn't mean Fantastic. Four, I just caught frightful four. One member of the Frightful four Medusa escapes on her own. Um, which then obviously makes it easier for the Fantastic Four to apprehend the Wizard, trapster and Sandman. But as Medusa is getting away, Johnny has the chance to stop her, but doesn't for some reason.

And then he's later raed on by Reed as to why he didn't. And Reed suggests that it's because she's a very attractive female. So Johnny let her go. So again, I already talked about like the cliffhanger from last issue had me really excited to read this next issue, but again, they kind of just like don't let it burn throughout the issue.

Stan and Jack just like let it go quickly and I'm like, what? What just happened? It is to me interesting though that they just like Johnny just let Medusa go. And I do know that we are gonna be getting more of her, uh, in today's episode. So it's just like, I'm just curious as I was reading this, like where are we going?

'cause. She is an inhuman and I know that much, at least I don't know much about the inhuman, so I'm like, where are we going with this and when will, when will we see her again? And then doom. That was just kind of like a weird. Add on. Um, and I will say it was weird, but it's not weird because at the same time that this issue was released, their third annual, the Fantastic four Annual number three was released.

And that has to do with Doom, which by the way, is the next issue that we are gonna dig into. So from July of 1965, fantastic. Four Annual three. Now this is, I believe, the, a story titled Bedlam at the Baxter Building written by Stan Lee, penciled by Jack Kirby. Inked by Vince Colletta, colored by Stan Goldberg and lettered by Artie Sek.

Now just to be clear and fully thorough in this annual, there are two other stories, but they are reprints of Fantastic Four Issue six, which is a team up of Doom and Naor and issue 11, which is a two-parter with a Fantastic Four going through fan mail in the first part. And then in the second part they end up dealing with the impossible man.

Now we, uh, covered those issues. In episodes two and three respectively. So if you wanna hear those stories, you can go check those out in those specific episodes. The, uh, issue six is really good, where Juma Nemore team up Issue 11 is not my favorite issue. Uh, impossible Man is annoying and I think one of the worst characters that we've gotten thus far.

Um, so this annual, this story in the annual that we're covering is the event we've been waiting for. We. Saw Reed and Sue get engaged, I believe in issue 35 at the end of it where Reed went to back to State University and he gave a talk and whatnot. Um, so this has been brewing for a while and it is the wedding, and the first like page one is just like a splash page of the, the.

Page of the newspaper where they're talking about Reed and Sue getting married and Doom is holding it and it's just his face. Um, and then we get into Doom is basically, uh, going to get revenge against a Fantastic Four and read specifically, and he's gonna do it a. On their wedding day, and now he talks about using, uh, his emotion charger that we talked about in just the last issue.

And his plan is to basically create a super army of the most deadly villains alive. As we get into the issue, we get into the Baxter building, it is just like a truly. Celebrity wedding that we're kind of like used to seeing today. And it's a star-studded event, right? Like Professor X and the X-Men are there.

Tony Stark, Nick Fury, all these people. But we also start to see some of the villains that we've seen in the fantastic force past, including Moleman, who happens to be taken out by the X-Men, red Ghost and his super apes, who, uh, actually attack Alicia and Sue, but are taken down by Dr. Strange. He like came outta nowhere.

And then we see the puppet master who is stopped by Nick Fury, but we also get a little. Insight from, uh, the puppet master, like as he's getting taken away that he wasn't planning on attacking the Fantastic four, but he feels this like eerie feeling about him all day. And I can only assume that is related to this like emotion charger that Dr.

Doom had mentioned about, uh, you know, his plan of getting all the super villains and using them to attack the Fantastic Four. So at this point I'm like, all right, we're gonna see more. Dr. Doom, even just given at the beginning of like, Dr. Doom is going to get revenge, we are gonna see more Dr. Doom, um, my friends.

We really don't see much more Dr. Doom. Maybe a few more panels, if I remember correctly. Uh, but we don't see any more of him. In fact, we just get more villains. That we've seen the Fantastic Four go up against, uh, including villains that we haven't seen in any of these fantastic four books, including like the Mandarin Kang, the Conqueror, black Knight, Hydra Electro, the Unicorn, the Human Top.

I, I mean, you get the idea, but as these villains are popping up. We continue to see other heroes who are making their way to the wedding at the Baxter building. And this includes like Thor, captain America, some of the other Avengers, uh, Quicksilver, who I think is an avenger at this point in time. Uh, we see Daredevil, we see Spider-Man and.

As they're all going and they end up seeing these villains coming as well. They all end up fighting creating this like big super brawl as they're making their way to the Baxter building. And at some point the watcher shows up and takes read away to, uh, his home. And of course, in typical watcher fashion says that he can't intervene.

You know, this is exactly what he's doing. And let's read, use a device from his home that pretty much transports all the villains away, uh, with no memory of the event whatsoever. And then, uh, Reed gets transported back to the Baxter building. Reed and Sue are able to get married and there is a fun little bit at the end.

We don't actually get to see their faces, but there's two people trying to get into the wedding and it happens to be Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. And they are not allowed. And that's pretty much the story. I'm not gonna lie, I was highly let down. I thought this was gonna be a great story involving Dr. Doom, uh, trying to ruin the wedding of Reed and Sue.

And that didn't happen. We got literally everyone else in the Marvel Universe. But we did not get Dr. Doom. I can see though why this could be a really great issue at the time. 'cause it purely celebrated pretty much everything that there was about the Marvel Universe at the time by including, I'm assuming just about every single character that had a book at that point.

Um, now I know that there's some characters that didn't show up like Scarlet Witch, so it didn't include absolutely everyone, but I feel like it was more of a celebration of the Marvel universe and like the crossover ness. Of that, I just thought it was gonna be a Dr. Doom kind of like centered story and it wasn't, and that kind of really let me down.

So we're gonna get into the next issue from August of 1965. Fantastic. 4 44. The gentleman's name is Gorgon, written by Stan Lee, pencil by Jack Kirby, inked by Joe Ott, and lettered by Sam Rosen. So now that. Reed and Sue are married. They are domesticating, the Baxter building, and this kind of makes Johnny uncomfortable.

So he decides to leave and, uh, gets into his car, and as he's getting into his car and is leaving, we see this like image of a foot slammed down onto the ground. It like creates this earthquake. Johnny's car kind of tips almost flips over. And as he's like flipping, we end up seeing someone else in the car who takes Johnny Hostage and it is none other than Medusa.

So it didn't take long to see her again. How she got in Johnny's car, I don't know. So we now have, uh, Gorgon and she basically. Tells Johnny that Gorgon is after her. Now, we did get a, like splash page of Gorgon, uh, as like the first page in this issue of like what he looked like, but there was really nothing else about it.

So now we know there's this person, Gorgon, who was after Medusa, so he. Then we kind of see him, but not fully climb the Baxter building. Um, and he steals the Fantastic Fours whirly bird, AKA helicopter. So then that we go back to Johnny and Medusa, who have traveled all the way to State University, which I had already mentioned, uh, which was back in issue 35, which we covered in episode 10.

And this was where we got another appearance of Diablo and the first appearance of Dragon Man. Now, the end of that issue had Diablo and Dragon Man taken a. Underneath this lake not to be seen again. Johnny, of course, doesn't necessarily trust Medusa given that she was part of the Frightful four and they've just been fighting each other for like, you know, within the last seven issues we've seen a lot of them.

So. She shoots this, uh, vacuum pellet at Johnny. So he basically can't flame on. However, once she shoots it, she knocks, knocks him unconscious, but that awakens dragon man from under the ground somehow. So now Dragon man is out. It kind of scares Medusa, but he sees Medusa and is like enamored by her. And we saw this happen back in issue 35, where he was just kind of like attacking people eventually.

But once he saw Sue, he was like enamored with her and was like, oh. I'm gonna pay attention to you. So there's that. And as this is happening, Gorgon shows up in the Fantastic Four Helicopter. Now that Dragon man sees that Gorgon is trying to take Medusa. He feels protective of her, so he grabs her and flies off back to the city.

Gorgon then gets back in the helicopter and follows. Johnny eventually wakes up and is like, I'm gonna go back to the city too. So everyone's back in the city. We're all together with the Fantastic four. Everyone's there and we finally get introduced to Gorgon to the rest of the Fantastic Four, and they're all clashing for the most part.

And eventually Dragon Man takes Sue and flies away. And we also learn at the end of this that Gorgon and Medusa are of the same race, and that she is forbidden to mingle with others. And that's pretty much where the issue. In my mind this was an okay issue. We did finally get to like, see Medusa again. I didn't think it was gonna be that soon.

Uh, it was interesting that she was in Johnny's car. Um, I don't know how that happened either way, though. Like, I think the big thing was for me is like how powerful Gorgon is like. Clearly his like superpower is using his feet and like being able to stomp and whatnot. But the Fantastic Four had a really hard time stopping just him.

I am intrigued though, like what is happening with Gorgon and Medusa and I know a little bit about the inhuman again, but not a ton. So I'm curious to see like where this goes. Um, I just know that like the in humans have been in hiding. Why? I don't know. So hopefully it gets to that point at some point. I also do wanna mention in this particular issue, a lot of the fighting between Gorgon and the Fantastic Four and Medusa and everyone happened in like.

Uninhabited buildings or condemned buildings. And it was always mentioned that it was one of those as clearly Jack and Stan were very concerned that all of these things were getting ruined, but they were making sure, uh, regular, everyday citizens were not getting hurt, which I just find to be funny.

'cause now like as things happen. The Marvel Universe, like they're just like, whatever, just happening in New York things, things are getting ruined. So let's see what happens in the next issue. From September of 1965, fantastic. 4 45 among us hide the inhuman. Written by Stanley Lee, pencil by Jack Kirby.

Inked by Joe OT and lettered by Artie Sek. So I did fail to mention at the end of last issue, it wasn't very apparent though that Gorgon was able to grab Medusa and got away. And as we know, Sue is in the grasp of Dragon man. So Johnny goes after Dragon man and Sue, he's able to temporarily, temporarily blind Dragon man who lets sue free.

And then Sue is able to calm him down and. He Dragon man brings Sue back and Johnny flies back as well to the Baxter building and everything is Akay. So, um, the Fantastic Four then decides that they are going to study Dragon Man and they also just can't like let him out into the world because they don't know what's gonna happen if they do.

So they decide to use a tranquilizer gun to shoot him, to knock 'em out. Meanwhile, while Reed and Sue and Ben are dealing with that, uh, Johnny. Calls up Dory, uh, like, kind of like his girlfriend that he's been seeing on and off through some of these issues, uh, for a date. And she says that she has one with someone else.

And of course Johnny can't believe it and exhibits some real alpha bro energy and is like, you know what? I knew there was something strange with that girl. How could she have another date with someone else? But of course, of course it is. You know, something's wrong with her, not me. Alright, Johnny. Okay. So from there Johnny decides to go, go clear his head because apparently being rejected from a date is just too much for him.

And while he's out on his walk, he sees this beautiful redheaded girl just sitting there and so much so he even says that like, this girl's so beautiful, that Dory looks like a man. Like man, you're already talking. You're already talking smack on Dory. Just like that. Um. Not very nice to Dory. I don't, that's not nice.

So anyway, he tries to approach this girl and uh, she sees him, there's this like huge windstorm that comes outta nowhere and she disappears. So Johnny heads back to the Baxter building and he can't stop thinking about this girl. So not very long after he goes back out to that same area. And this time, uh, is deciding to try to find this girl and he's hiding behind a tree until she comes close and then reveals himself, um, what.

What? This is some real scary energy Johnny's exhibiting right now. That's all I gotta say. However, though, clearly this girl is like, I can't be seen or be with you, or they, and we don't know who they are, are going to be mad at her. That's when Johnny reveals his powers and now she's intrigued and says, oh, you have powers.

You must be one of us. And introduces herself as Crystal. We then meet lockjaw who like teleported in and he teleports them to their hideout or home. We don't know exactly what it is, but Crystal says that she's going to introduce Johnny to her family. So we first meet Carac, who basically looks like a jockey as the best way to describe him.

Um, and his power seems to be that he can find the weak spot in anything and then break it. From that point, we then get introduced to people we already know, Gorgon and Medusa, and we also meet Triton, who is cloaked. You can't really see his face or anything, but you can see that he has scales and web, feet and hands.

So once Medusa sees Johnny, she tells him to flee. But Gorgon, you know, knowing what we already know traps him. But not for very long as Johnny is able to escape and then sends out the Fantastic four signal to get help. And, uh, we see a new vehicle by the way that, that the Fantastic four are gonna use to go to Johnny.

And it is the air jet cycle, which I think is a terrible, terrible vehicle. It is literally like a bare bones bike that can fly. Um, this is a serious downgrade and like, I don't even feel safe. Like you, we get this like view from the bottom. To it. Ben is on this seat. It's very tiny. I mean, Ben is a big man, but like we're gonna make this thing read and the seat is very tiny for Ben and he's like, just has these little handles that he can hold onto next to him.

Like that would be like armrest and that's it. I'm like, Ben is gonna fall out of this thing. He's like, at some point you're gonna use this thing to like make some. Quick turns and stuff like that, people are gonna fall out. Reed, we need to, we need a better design. We need a better design read. So once Reed, Ben and Sue meet up with Johnny, they are attacked by Carac and Gorgon.

But that's when black bold appears and our issue ends. Um, in my mind, despite some of the things that I was just making fun of. I thought this was a better issue. We finally, um, get a little bit more into the inhuman as this has been kind of just like brewing for a while and now that Medusa has had this like weird thing, she doesn't remember her past.

We got introduced to Gorgon. He took Medusa and says that she can't mingle with people. So we're finally getting somewhere and we met more of these, uh, in humans. And now we're finally meeting, quote unquote, their leader. In Black Bolt and now Black Bolt we have seen in MCU. So I can't remember if we've seen how powerful he is.

I've never seen the show, the In Humans. Um, but we saw Black Bolt, uh, at least a version of him in Multiverse of Madness. I forget which earth number it was, but there's that meeting with the Illuminati where like Reed Richards is there, played by John Krasinski. Uh, professor X is there by pa, played by Patrick Stewart, and I forget who else was there at the time.

Um, but all I remember is like Black Bolt's mouth was sewn shut. Um, at the time I had no idea that that was Black Bolt. Um, I just assumed that sewing his mouth shut meant that he couldn't use his powers. Um, I didn't even know what they were or how powerful it was. With that being said, I can only assume that we're gonna learn more about Black Bolt in this next issue from October of 1965.

Fantastic. 4 46. Those who would destroy us, written by Stan Lee. Pencil by Jack Kirby, inked by Joe Sinat and letter. By Artie Sek. Now Black Bolt, again has appeared and the fighting ensues between the Fantastic four and the in humans. So Reed ends up fighting with Triton and learns that his cloak is actually like this water bag, helping to keep him alive because clearly, as we had already mentioned, he's got web, feet and toes and has scales.

He needs water to survive. So Reed burst his little water bag and he needs to go to the water. So he makes his way quickly to the pier and jumps into the water. But during their fight, we learn. They are hiding, like the inhuman have been hiding from the seeker. Again, someone we don't know, and as Triton heads down into the water, you see a, like a text bubble that says basically the seeker's there and he has found him.

I don't know how or why the seeker is like hanging out in the ocean. My first thought when I was, I was reading this was like, maybe he's somewhat related to Namor or the Atlantian people or something along those lines. But we'll talk about that sort of in a second. So as that's happening, black bolt and the thing are duking it out.

There's just a lot of fighting that's happening. The one thing that happens probably more than fighting does, or just as much as fighting does, I should say, is Ben talks about how quiet Blackball is, and he's like, why doesn't this guy talk? And at first he's like, this is kind of nice. I don't need to hear him talk or anyone.

You know, Yammer my head, my head off as I'm fighting them. But then as they fight more and more, Ben is like, why is this guy so quiet? I wish he would talk more and just like so much. I'm like, okay, we get the point. Black Bolt is not talking. We haven't learned exactly why. But also during their fight we also learn that black bolt's power and strength comes from his antennae by absorbing electrons from the air.

So Ben's big plan is to knock it off of his head and somehow red deduce this. I don't understand how. He was able to figure that out like in the middle of a fight. I don't get it. Obviously it's just comics and it's made up, but like what? So we are eventually brought back to the Baxter building where we finally meet the seeker, uh, and his henchman, and he decided to go there because apparently he saw the Fantastic four bring the dragon man there.

And his goal is to track down all of the in humans now why that is his goal. We don't know just yet, but obviously tracking humans for some reason probably is not the best thing. Um, but he finds Dragon man unconscious and then brings him to his hideout. Also, I have to mention like while the seeker is in the Baxter building, he has like all these little tools and gadgets, like literally all these things.

He's got a distorter gun, a universal. Control rod attachments for the universal control rod. It's literally anything he he needs to do, he can do it because he's got something for it. And it's just like one of those things that I just have to chuckle at. It's just like as they're writing this story and making things up, they're just like, well, we're just gonna make another thing up that he can use and do this.

And then we're gonna make this thing up and he can use to do that again. It's just funny. Eventually Crystal learns that Triton has been taken and then in humans decide it's safer for them to leave and go back into hiding. So Lockjaw does his teleportation thing for Crystal and the rest of the, in humans, but it there's is like really big to do for like almost two pages or so that Johnny needs to go see Crystal, and Crystal wants to stay behind and be with Johnny.

Now they don't actually meet up in time. So the lock jaw tell the ports crystal along with the rest of the in humans away. And obviously Johnny's not able to get there. So the fantastic four go back to the Baxter building. See that dragon man was taken. However, Reed ha has this like probe thing where he's able to trace the whatever, like heat, heat trail of where people went.

So they go to the seekers hideout and we learned that dragon man is not an inhuman because the seeker did test on him, which we already knew. He's an Android. Um, but he's like, you can have the dragon man back. He's not an inhuman. I don't need him anymore. Which I find is like an interesting choice as like a villain.

You would think that he would be like, I'm gonna keep him, uh, and use him to my advantage, but I guess not. But anyway, uh, dragon man eventually wakes up and he's like, I don't know where I am, and gets all riled up. So all of the seeker and his henchman are like shooting at him and chaos ensues. He breaks, uh, dragon man breaks.

Like water cage that Triton is in. So now Triton is out of water. He's planning on dying, obviously, 'cause no one's worried about him. And basically Dragon Man is on the loose and is now standing on top of a building in the Fantastic four. Like, how are we gonna stop Dragon Man one. What about Triton? Man?

You're just gonna let him die. You're just gonna let 'em die. Also, at the end of this issue, we get a little bit of history on the, in humans from the seeker as they're talking to Reed and the Fantastic Four. And basically what we learn is that they are a highly evolved race, who have perfected genetic engineering and, uh, like bestow superpowers to.

Any individual that they see fit. Um, and basically they, uh, wanted to escape other species and protect themselves. So they built a shelter called The Great Refuge. So we're s we're left with a lot more open threads here now, and I feel like it's almost too much like now we have a dragon, man. He's on the loose again.

I'm assuming Sue is just gonna calm him down at some point and be like, it's okay. Drank a man. I'm here, uh, like it's already happened multiple times. Uh, but I feel like we opened way too many threads. We now got all of these in humans, including black bolt. Like we don't know why black bolt talk doesn't talk.

I mean, we know, but we don't know they're hiding. Why are they hiding from the seeker? Why is the seeker chasing after them? And I realize these are all connected, but I feel like we've gotten way too many like threads open at once now. Like Johnny and Crystal are longing for each other. There's just a lot happening and I feel like we've opened too many things at once and now I'm like, are we going to close all of these threads and when, because I can see this potentially getting dragged out for some time.

With that being said, this was an okay issue. Again, a lot of it is fighting and a lot of it has bend in black bolt going back and forth, back and forth and again of what we already talked about. Um. So yeah, this was an okay issue. I do know that we are gonna get some more of this obviously is we got a cliffhanger and in the next episode, not only that, hopefully we close some of these threads that we just talked about, but we're starting the Galactus trilogy.

Um, a really good three issues. We're not gonna cover 'em all in the next episode, but a really, really good bit of issues that involve in humans a little bit. But we are gonna get Galactus. Silver Surfer. So if you've never, uh, read those issues or heard anything about them, get ready because it's coming in the next episode.

And, uh, if you're still here listening to this, I truly appreciate it. If you're not following or subscribe to wherever you listen to podcasts, please make sure that you do that. Uh, it really helps out the show if you have the time rate. Wherever you're listening to it. And if you have even more time, just write a little review.

Say, you know, I'm awesome. We're only accepting great reviews. Just kidding. Don't, don't do that. Gimme an honest review, but like, honestly, make it nice. Thank you. Yeah. Beyond that, maybe share this with a friend, uh, that you think would like it. And from there, that's it. If you want, join a, a really great group of.

Nerdy people that trends towards Marvel, but we talk about a lot of other nerdy stuff. You can head to the Earth's mightiest nerds, discord. The link for that is down below in the show notes. And, uh, yeah, beyond that, until the next episode. Excelsior,

John is really exhibiting some alpha bro energy in this issue and the thing that really like, okay. He doesn't understand why Dory isn't going on a date with him. He's kind of confused. He thinks he's top stuff, right. Placing the blame on her is, is not right. John, you haven't talked to this girl in like two weeks, bro.

But also. The fact that he was like so enamored with Crystal and wanted to go back and then hid behind a tree until she like showed up and then like as she got closer and was like walking by the tree, he jumped out so he could meet her. This is not good energy. Like this is not what we should be promoting.

This is not what we should be promoting Jack and Stan. This is not, that's not okay behavior for a guy to be doing to a lady or another guy or whatever. Like people don't be doing that. Just don't do it.
