SPEAKER_00

Trans I'm trying to do um contracting translantic and I'm having a good time we're having a good time today network welcome welcome welcome guys we're back and we're gonna be talking hard for yes UK versus USA pop girlies artists girlies just like music music but like we'll touch on some of the pop girlies we'll touch on like some bangers from each country that makes you look crazy and just like musical influence because I yeah there's I feel like there's a lot to say and like such a big part of our our individual cultures as well as countries. Should we tell them that we're doing a self-tape? Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so let's tell them. Well we can't tell you anything about it. No. But it's something like music-y. Yeah. So Chloe and I are like on this absolute buzz that after we finish today's episode, we have to do this little self-tape. And so we just got on this absolute vibe about doing music. And we have to actually niche it up with American um artists. So we're very excited about it. So if this is cut short, that's why.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. The career takes over a little bit today. But this is good prep though, because it's like what we're gonna be talking about. Yeah, it is now in a way, a little bit. More so girlies, but that's okay. Yeah. But yeah, we'll we'll start. Um yeah, we can talk about pop girlies in a minute, but let's do takes first. Do you have a take this week? You go first. I'm thinking about my take. Um, let me think. Um, my take this week, I had my hair cut and that was funny too. Oh my god, let me see. It's like a lot, it's not noticeable, but it is like quite short. Oh, it's cute though. It's cute. It's still long though, Chloe. It's nice. It's like a a collarbone vibe. I went to um training school, like Harry's training school. You crazy bitch, I can never do it. I've done it a few times and like usually it's fine. And I know that it's not bad, um, but it's like I had like a guy that was like very particular, okay, but like also very like he would have moments of just like ah, you know what I mean? Like it would just like cut. And so it's a lot shorter than I thought. It was gonna beautiful though. I look so healthy, actually. Yeah, my hair, my hair was getting to a point where it was just like too long, like I couldn't couldn't deal with it. But yours is always long, like you've always had it.

SPEAKER_02

This was an October cut queen. This is it's time. It's time. Yeah, but like it's gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, it's been like a yeah, it's a lot of people. But you've got a little bit. I just I I quite like the training school though because like usually they're quite like timid because they are so scared because like they haven't really done it before. And like, especially if you're one of their first like first months or something. So you end up getting like the actual like teacher cut your hair because like they'll come over and like ask to like you know, like can you take a look? And then they'll be like, I would have done this, and then they'll take over. So like it is good, and it's only a tanner. So like it's so I can't do it. I'm such a snotty little woman. It's fair enough. I think you've got a fringe now, like it would be it would be intense. Um, but like I usually am like I'm usually just like oh take a bit off the end and like just cut my like face framing back in. But I was like, I my hair was just getting to a point where I hadn't had a cut in like six, seven months. Oh wow. It was before your wedding, I had a cut last. So it was it was long and like just very like like scraggly and gorgeous. I love it. So now I know it's gonna grow. Are you dying it soon or have you dyed it recently? It's good though, thank you. I'm gonna I bought some box, I'm gonna do it next week, maybe. When I have the patience. It's time. Um we get our self-tape and we go. Yeah. But I like how manageable is when I washed my hair like after, I was like, oh my god, like this is gonna be so quick. But my hair's so thick, so that's the that's gorgeous. But it'll grow fast. My hair grows really fast. But it's just it's just funny that, like, yeah, like usually it's fine, but this time I was like, Oh, babe, like you okay, like you're fine. He was so particular, but it did take him a long time to then try and like back like backtrack what he did in the beginning. So it's chill. Take it up on the colour. Hair grows, baby, hair grows. Maybe that'd be my take.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I need a haircut. I've had one, you need one. I need my lens done. I did my fringe like two weeks ago. Yeah. Paid six pounds for my fringe to get cut. Oh. It's intense, but it's fine. It's more than a coffee. Um, but I I'm so picky about who I let cut my hair. Yeah. I I once had a girl, um, it was maybe her like first year. So it's just a yeah, it's fine at this salon, and she gave up halfway because she was exhausted by her arms on my hair because it's so thick. She gave up and I went home and I was like, nah.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_02

That's the last time I go, I'm done. Um, so now I I found someone else when I was at um Arda. I came home and I was got it got suggested to me that I go to this this one. So I went to her and I was like, okay, I found you in COVID. You're a lifer. We wore masks talking to each other, and now she she moves. Talking about you, Francesca Castle, we love you. Um she now lives in Slough. I will go. Yeah. But I only go once because uh she had a baby. Now she comes in, she rents a chair in Islington once a month. So I will now come and uh sit with her. So I have one on the fourth. I'm very excited. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

My haircut, darling. So excited. I do love a haircut. I love like the washing of the and just like as much as a few. Do you get a free massage? Do you get massage? Yeah, a little hair massage. Little hair massage. Um but yeah, no, it's really nice. I haven't been to like I need to get my hair like properly dyed. I like I love going and have my hair like coloured. I've had my hair dyed in my hair. Yeah, it's really fun, it's different. But I I I only ever like dye it like my colour. Like I go like with like a deeper brown or like something. I used I was like purple once. Also I don't know you. You had purple. No, I was like, I probably still had like remnants of it in the floor. It was like it took years to go away. For your headshots in America, your hair was really red, it was gorge. It was like really super brunette red. But that tint like it did. When it's in the sun, my wedding you did. It's white red. Yeah, yeah. It was lush. I love like having like the deep brown with like the undertones of red. So smart. Then when it is in in the sun, it's like, whoo, maybe it's gorgeous.

SPEAKER_02

Whereas I've never dyed my hair. And it will be like the sun in summer does it for me because all my blonde bits. No, I've never done it. And Mumbo's I should do that. But like all my blonde bits come back, and now my fringe is currently hiding my blonde bits. So if I like zhuz it, you'll see it. I wonder if the summer, like, will your fringe get light? Yeah, well, what I'm doing, I think I'm gonna let my fringe grow from May out. Oh, okay. So at the end of May, I will let the hair, I will let it begin curtaining. Yes. Um, and then if I miss it, I'm not afraid to do it anymore. No. You know how beforehand I was like, no, no, no, no. Full fringe is too drastic. Now I'm like, no, I've done it. Now you've rocked it. It's cute, it works. And it's kind of my vibe right now, guys. If you can see me, it's quite like, yeah. It's a little uh punky poppy girly.

SPEAKER_00

Where Chloe's giving a bright pink vest on. It's really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Chloe's in like gorgeous red. Together we kind of together we are Jesse Buckley Buckley, I guess. Yes, guys, we are. I just know it's that. It works. I think it works. Chloe, let's talk about pop girlies. Pop girlies. Pink meets Chloe was really pushed for this, and I'm kind of I'm I'm ready. I want to hear it now. I'm excited. I'm super excited.

SPEAKER_00

I well, I we were talking about like do you know, talking about UK versus US a bit more like you know, about specific things, and like this came to mind because like we I feel like as like countries, if even if we're you know not very happy with our countries at any given over the last how many years, um, music tends to be quite like like a baseline thing that we're all like not just like proud of, but just like we really get into, and I feel like we like find our like identity like as a country through music a lot of the time. Um and it's been that way for years. Um, but I it sprung to mind because of for me 2024 Pop Girlies, and I looked it up just now and like it was the it's been dubbed the year of the pop girl 2024, which is so funny. But like if we cast our mind back to 2024, it feels like yesterday. Yeah, it feels like yesterday. Um we had in the same year Chapel Ron, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Billy Eilish, Beyonce, Olivia Rodrigo, and Charlie XEX all have either huge albums or huge tours going on in that year. And I just remember like that summer, like I remember being in like the US that summer and like just driving around and listening to songs, every song, yeah, banger. Every single one was like, whoa, and each one had their own identity, yeah, and it was so strong, and like neither like no one was competing. There was no like I'm gonna like you know, up you or like get a better song than you and whatever. Um, but no, like no one was had like none of that, none of that toxic stuff. It was just like the pop girlies just riding the wave of everyone being obsessed with them. Yeah, and I don't think any like that hasn't happened for a while. Kind of really like how many seven pop girlies had their moment in the same year. Yeah. Because it would be also like it's like uh Brat Summer was that year. Yep. Um Espresso was that year, Sabrina Carpenter. Pink Pony Club, hot to go for Chapel Roan. All of that happened. Yeah, that's such a summer song. Um, and then you've got Cowboy Carter for Carter. You said Cole, Cole, Cole Carter, Cal by Carter. Cowboy Carter for Beyonce. Um, and all of these things had their own like identity, and I think that was so sick, like such a cool time to be alive to like witness all of that. It was because I think you think about the tours, like each of them had like their own like outfits, their own themes. Yes, like Taylor Swift, like for the era's tour, like you were dressing up like you were fully dressing up like an to the tea to the tailor. T to the tea, um, and you were like fully. I went like as the lover era, my sister went as reputation. Yeah, like everyone had like specific, and it was like the friendship bracelets, like you made so much effort to go to the shows. And then the same with like um like Brat Summer, like it was that like neon green, and everyone was like in that party girl kind of outfit. But I just I loved it. I don't think we've had that in a long time.

SPEAKER_02

I was gonna say, I don't think there's been a pop moment for a while. No, and I think the girls are holding their own. Oh, I think that's it. That's not to say that there is um there is absolutely incredible male pop artist who I love, but I've always been when I think back to my childhood and we have the now CDs, you listen-that's all girl pop. Yeah, it is. Most of the time the girls are carrying it, which again, not a problem. Um but also this has been a a long time coming, I think. Yeah. Where there's not a toxicity. Now I'd say between the few of them there are. Maybe a million. Maybe a few distracts, maybe I don't know. But it's like it's it's beautiful, it was pending, and um I know that I didn't get to go to Taylor Swift's concert, which was crushing. I just lived it all through Disney the other day. Yeah. Um and I cried, I did cry. Um you did. Yeah. And I went to Beyonce, but I went in 2025 because she went through from no 2024 was Taylor, but she went into 2025 as did Beyonce. So you saw Taylor at Wembley and I saw uh Beyoncé in Tottenham. Yeah. Both completely different. Sorry. Both insane vocals to then when you leave and you go, that was worth every moment I just had there. Like I I left completely in awe. First off, I've never heard her life. Yeah. Mother of God, she just Yeah, I can't talk about what I experienced with Beyoncé. It's a production as well. Both of the things theatre. The way Taylor Swift enters, the way Taylor Swift enters fucking tour with the Oh my god. The what do you call those? Like the big fans. Oh, I'd never seen that before. And also I made an effort to not watch the lives because I was like, I can still get tickets. I can still tickets. And I didn't it was sucked. So I missed out on all the lives. Um but I don't go into you, I think you're a bit different to me. I don't go into um what do you call it? Uh concerts knowing the lineup. I don't want to. Yeah. Do you?

SPEAKER_00

Um having watched the lives, you might have had an eager. Oh, but yeah, so this is the thing with Taylor, it was very different because me and my sister booked the tickets like a year before. And like me and Katie are like obsessed with Swift. Like we are just big fans. Yeah. Um and so we um were like kind of prepped. I've seen a lot of stuff, and like because there was the whole like like TikTok like lives, like people were on TikTok all the time, and the videos and like the following, and like people then like when she was changing outfits, it was like, oh, she's wearing the orange body today.

SPEAKER_02

Some crazy fans out that they're not like you know, like crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, they don't exist. But like the obsession was real, and like I think it was like the part of like the event of like the errors tour was also like watching other people go to the ears tour. It's gorgeous, and then deciding on outfits and the mash making. Like, yeah, oh my god, our secret, our secret songs were uh long live. Um, what else is there? What did we get? Archer, um, so cute. Oh my god, but like they were just like the I remember it being like You're on Your Own Kid, we got and it was just all of them were just like so like I felt like she picked up for me. I was like, I'm here, and like it's like how can you be singing this now? And I'm like, she knows I was coming.

SPEAKER_02

Um but it was just so Did one of your nights get filmed in the movie or the thing or not. No, I don't think it was that one.

SPEAKER_00

We were like, I mean, she did talk about in the documentary about our like run of shows. It was because it was right after like the like tragic Oh god in Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like she talks about it, but I don't think I was was like That's worth saying the um the bit about the fact that she loves London.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah, and she loves British audiences. Oh huge. Most Americans do. Yeah. I think we are quite uh intense. Yes, but we also sing back to you very loudly. Oh my god. Like I remember it being at Beyonce's and she was like yuck because she comes out and she does Oh my god, Chloe. She came out and she did a um old school once. She just started, she just was like irreplaceable, and the whole we sang to her. Or she did she barely lifted the microphone from her mouth and and she was like, Y'all are loud. Yeah. Then she goes, and y'all alone. Because we're all I actually think, not all the time, but depending on depending on like Taylor told you like girly pub girly, hi. We're like scream to the right, to the left is down in the Beyonce realm. And she goes, I I literally I think I've got a video of her going, Oh my god. We're reaching you, ma'am. I just love that they obviously they go across around the world, they have different experiences with different audiences. Like I would love to go to a um an audience like Japan. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So much fun. All of those gigs, yeah, look so like I oh yeah, it would be so cool to go to a different country and then go to a gig like that. It was so cool. But like it's so true, like the obsession I think with like especially London for Americans is quite strong. And the same thing with like us for like American culture. Like I've had like I mean it was big for like TV shows and stuff when I was younger. Same. Um but music as well was like such a and I think we have such an appreciation for music as well because like the UK is like just known for being like like leaders in many of like those kind of genres. Um but the US too, like we like right now the like I mean kind of with Cowboy Carter, like the country influence, like country like genre influence in the UK is.

SPEAKER_02

Can we talk about this? Because me and John had this the other day. I don't think me and John listen to country, right? Who doesn't? I know you and you and Dan do too. The level that it's at right now is huge. Like the influence the country's had over here, yes, it was big before, it's nothing compared to what it was, and I think Luke Combs is a big deal with that.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say Luke Combs.

SPEAKER_02

Luke Combs has changed the gig.

SPEAKER_00

One of the like kind of like pushes he changed. I mean, like the last gig I went to was um Tyler Childers. Oh, I love him. Is that what your phone broke? Yeah. That's when I dropped my phone. That's when I dropped my phone down the stairs with the O2. Thank you for the phone. Sorry. I'm so sad. But when I came here, like when I was after work. Has anyone seen Chloe? And Dana's like, her phone died in the middle of it, like just died in the party. It was such an it was like an accident as well. Like someone like kind of pushed my arm as I was like squeezing to my seats and it just went like down the stairs. So sad. But at least I enjoy Tyler Childer's uh phone-free. Yeah, sometimes I may make a big point of it.

SPEAKER_02

I will not be on my phone. If there's a song I really want to remember, yeah, I'll pop it. Most of the time, my phone's in my pocket. Oh, I don't like to, because I'm everyone's videoing in this. I can find it online so much. Yeah, and that's how I felt about the TikTok thing with Taylor. Like, it's not, it's no one's fault. They wanted everyone to share it, but I think that's too much. Yeah. I think that's losing the love for it. Obviously, Taylor doesn't give a shit. She's like, yes, go for it. But also, like, there is an element to it where I'm like, but babes, babies, maybe put your phones down.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, definitely. Just watch. Please enjoy it. Yeah. Um, but like that, like Tyler Childers concert was such a like, and like the way that it was like sold out, like, oh Mike's to the brim. We can't get it. Everyone was like dressed in like cowboy hats and boots. Oh like it's so that was like it's so cool. It was like it was like Beyonce's.

SPEAKER_02

It was like Beyonce. Beyonce's I wore a denim dress. Yeah. It was like loose fitting, and I wore like this. I don't need to go into it. I felt like a badass. Yeah. Because everyone was rather in Canadian tuxedos. Part for the Americans, like the outfit. People were in Brentana's or just endless cowboy boots. Straight up. And there was this, there was this man, he was flawless, had a crop top braler on, his abs were out, these little booty shorts, they weren't ridiculous, but like cute little booty shorts and sparkly um chaps. Oh my god, Chloe. He looked, he was just like peak Beyoncé. He looked stunning because then Beyonce came out in chaps and we were screaming. We lost the plot for her. She came out in like endless chaps, and I was like, I want them. Why wasn't I wearing this? But I think just also on touching on um the country, yeah, you can't get Luke Combs tickets in this country. No. They're like 200 pounds. I love him.

SPEAKER_00

You can't get them. I think he was like the gateway like mainstream country. 100. Country boy to be like brought over here. Like, and I think the UK have always had like a little like a love for like American country music. But it's been a bit like far-fetched, like a little bit too far away. We love a bit of Dolly. What's his name? Shania. We love Shania. I mean he's Canadian.

SPEAKER_02

And then uh um Blake Shelton was kind of at the I think he started it maybe. He started the the small push, and then Luke Cohns was like home my bee. Yeah, literally.

SPEAKER_00

He saw like yeah, Americana, like kind of that old classic. He's with his childhood sweetheart. I know. Oh my god, they are so cute together. Like they're wearing. I don't even know how to be. Oh my god, it's so good.

SPEAKER_02

He's everything and the way he sings about her too. I know. Oh, I know.

SPEAKER_00

And his voice is like buttermilk. Good. Like his um his cover of um Fast Car. Oh Chloe.

SPEAKER_02

It's so good. He makes me cry. And also, um I don't know. I don't I didn't watch Twister based off necessity, the fact that I think the original is perfectly fine. Yeah, yeah. 996 Twister, I'm a bit like, no, it's fine, it's the better one. Yeah. Um his cover when he made the song uh Ain't No, what is it? Ain't no love, ain't no glove. It's so good. It's so good.

SPEAKER_00

It's so good. It's like just rules and like he's really good, but he's so like, he's very cool.

SPEAKER_02

Very cool, like nice to like talk about. And also, not that this makes a difference. I'm not gonna go down the political route, but I was like, John, is he is he is he like, you know, yeah, is he not a deep down like Republican? He was like, doesn't I think he's very like, no, I don't, I don't agree with that, but I also middle of the road, like I don't give a yeah, I like music and I don't give a fuck.

SPEAKER_00

I'm you're like my music, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you're just doing your thingy bit. He's very cool. And I think that's like now like brought like because I think a lot of other um like country stars have like kind of crossed the Atlantic and are like, knowing that they'll sell out, yeah. You're so right. Because it's like still, I mean, it's still kind of a niche, but like so much more widespread than it's like let's figure that out. That would be so it was such a fun. I want to go to like a festival with like a country star. Like I want to go to like a like a grassy, like like that kind of with the cowboy boots and all that. Yeah, we should do it. For sure.

SPEAKER_02

Because that's how I felt with Lana. So Lana, I think it was 2023, maybe a bit sooner, 2022. I can't keep up with the amount of concerts I go to. She did um Hyde Park. Oh. Chloe. Everyone, it's very similar to what other people did with Taylor Swift. I think this I don't know who brought it in. I'd be really interested to see who brought in the dressing from different albums. Oh, yeah, yeah. So I dressed as Born to Die. Absolutely. That her, that was a I don't know if I remember the name of the album is pathetic, ultraviolet. No, no, no. Um I just drove, I like wore like the Born to Die outfit. She's like in the I'm like in like a shorts and the bandana. Oh my god, she's like Ride. Have you heard that song? Yeah. Ride, yeah. So I just love her. Her on that grassy field, and everyone just walking out in like lace dresses for her, and you're just looking at her and going, Yeah, that's that album, that's that album, that's your favourite song. Yeah. She came out high and she still sang. She wasn't like like absolutely like blooded, but she was like, Guys, London, I love you so much. Thank you for being here today. We're gonna do the most beautiful moment you've ever seen in your life. And she puts on her makeup in the vanity on stage and then sings, and you're like, bitch. Yeah, like girl. What? So it's that kind of experience of like being, yeah. I love summers in London for that. Yeah. Because they're not too hot. You're with your mates. Yes, I would say the alcohol difference is a little bit more insane. And we just you're just vibing.

SPEAKER_00

You need the right person to vibe to. And especially with like the like, yeah, it has to be like the right person, like the right artist, the right songs, like the ones that you are like you know a lot of and you are like involved in and you enjoy. Like that like feeling is like unmatched. I love it so much. My one of my favourite ever concerts was when I went to see Stereophonics. Because I I would have loved that so much. I have never been so content because you know who opened up for them? Who? Tom Jones. Are you kidding? Yeah, nope, not kidding. So you like threw up. I saw Tom Jones, 82 years old.

SPEAKER_02

And I get he floored the room, didn't he? Absolutely. His voice, fine, is like a fine voice.

SPEAKER_00

He did move a lot.

SPEAKER_02

I assume, but he was like, no, no. No, but he was he was joving.

SPEAKER_00

He was like with his like full band. It was like kind of like a little like an orchestra, like a mini orchestra. When I watch him on the voice, I'm still in complete awe when he comes up.

SPEAKER_02

And he's like, no. Just like start singing. His voice is just so he is the representation of Wales that Wales should have. Absolutely. Do you like Charlotte Church? Yeah. You like her? Yeah. She's a gorgeous voice.

SPEAKER_00

She is incredible. She's the voice. She's so fun. I love like she's such a library children's post. Yeah. Pretty sweet. She's very sweet. She's sweetheart. She is. And she's such a like, she's an activist as well. Like, she's so she's a babe.

SPEAKER_02

Remember when she dated uh Gavin Gavin Gavin Jensen? Yeah. Gavin Henson.

SPEAKER_00

Gavin Henson. Yeah, Henson. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Gavin Henson, we loved you, but also that relationship just did not work.

SPEAKER_00

No, Charlotte just needed to fly. She needed to fly. She's incredible. She her voice is incredible.

SPEAKER_02

It's stunning. It proves she was like up there with Tom, and you're like, every Welsh person can sing. We have a good track record. We have a good track record. My dad would go, ah yeah, sure.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I can't sing very well, but no, you can deep down the song. Yeah, but that concert was insane because it was like the most Welsh I've ever felt. Because Tom Jones opened, and then the stereophonics had a male voice choir come on and sing the anthem before they started. So it was just like overwhelming. I'm like, he was in Cardiff, yeah. So I was in Cardiff as well. Like with this, like it was like filmed, and like I've watched the like the recording back so many times because it's just like I can't believe I was in. Send it to me with this film. But like that kind of experience, like I've never had that where like everyone is there, everyone, most people are Welsh. I mean Dan was there. Um but I went, but you know, like but he like loves phonics. And that was like his first ever time in the UK when he came to Wales. That night we went to a stereophonics concert. Welcome. Like I was like, welcome to that. Um and he learned one song, which is Say La V, and they opened with that one song, and he knew every word, and like all of the Welsh people around him were like, bloody ass, like oh, this is American, like he knows the phonics. Um, but he so he loves them too. I love Nelson. And I was with my cousin Amy and and uh her husband Tom, and so like it was just like the Welshiness was so great, and like everyone knew every word, everyone was bouncing, like the whole thing it just went so fast. So, like when you're in like that environment of a game. It goes so quick. Oh, yeah, it does be quite good.

SPEAKER_02

Just so good. That's how I felt with Stompsy. Yeah, I'm not saying Stompsy is a rep of London, he should be. I'd make him mayor. Yeah, we went be me. And I just remember like he just he just put his glasses on, he was like, shut up! And I I just lost the plot. We were by the barrier as well. So I just remember being like squashed, but not suffer like suffocated, and everyone was just bouncing at this level, and I was like, You're blinded by your grace.

SPEAKER_00

Like, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So I just love concepts.

SPEAKER_00

Like from like where you're from. When someone is from where you're from, and then you like go to their gig, like that's like there's a homeness.

SPEAKER_02

It's like London, and then you're like, that's us. That's me. Yeah. I'm like, yeah, like that's I must have been. And I think America, like, for example, when Taylor Swift went to um Indianapolis, I can never say it. Indianapolis. Indianapolis. Oh yeah. That was like her last final one of the one of the final ones. Yeah, yeah. They changed street signs for her. Yeah. Like people, towards the end of the era's tour, things were just getting more and more insane. I just found out that she's from Pennsylvania. What the? Yeah, yeah. Like, what? I didn't know that. She's like, Because also she spent most of her time in Nashville, didn't she? Yeah, to do it. She went, she was quite young when she was like 14, wasn't she? She was really young. So you would assume she's from there. But um, like when people go back to where they're from, there's a different gravy. Yeah. It is. And like imagine that being you.

SPEAKER_00

Like, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Like either. Like Nial Horrin of um he goes back to Dublin and he's like, yeah, I'm the loud. Now you're just shouting for me the loudest, like one directional hello. Of course.

SPEAKER_00

But that's like that pride. Yeah. And I think that also kind of like spans like like we were talking about like UK and US. Like, yeah, like that identity is like such a big deal. And yeah, not not typically a competition. No. I feel like everyone like in the like in these genres have their own identity. Yeah. And like, yeah, no matter how like embarrassed you are by your country, I feel like with like music, it's a very like uniting thing amongst like your like your peeps. I agree. Like when you are like, yeah, it's like because the world could be so shitty. Yeah. And then you're like, oh, I'm gonna go to this gig and see this artist that I'm obsessed with from like if I was gonna go to a stereophonics, they would be like uh like meditation. Like it would be so like okay, it can be okay for a minute. Like the world can be okay for a minute. Well, classical concerts do, they take you out of everything. Yeah, they just bring you with people who are having a good time. Yeah. Oh, Ray. So I was thinking about Ray.

SPEAKER_02

Have you seen Ray? I am desperate to see her live. I can't God. I I had an opportunity. I can't talk about it. I love her so much. She can't even so much. I'm so excited for her album. And I knew her before she kind of yeah. Blue, blue, blue. We all did because Brits, we were all like, hey, have you heard Ray's new time? And now she's like blown up rightly so. Yeah. But she stayed, her head has stayed so above ground. Like she's just solid. And she loves it. But this is what we're saying. You and I just lost the plot of Ray, because we're like, she's one of us. Yeah. Like we have there. Like Adele, she's one of us. Yeah, no, it's true. Like when Adele came up, we're like, yeah, hear that? She sings like a brick. Like we get like I kind of America's we, when we're growing up, you sing in an American accent. It's easier to, like you said last time. So it's easy to be like, you're mad. You know, like it is. Whereas sometimes some Adele will be like, hello. You know, she gets in that low. What's the one of her most um like Lily Allen?

SPEAKER_03

Oh Martha!

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, Lily Allen! We need to try see that West End girl. Yes. Oh my god, she's pilling it.

SPEAKER_00

I just And I love the like the receipts of so insane.

SPEAKER_02

She's but she's badass. And she comes out and she's like, I'm not a loser. And she sings with the English accent, because that's how where she's from. Adele, no, she doesn't sing like she's from Tottenham. Yeah. But you can hear sometimes that she will just Oh when she stops singing.

SPEAKER_03

Hello, like I sweaty, I just fucked my ear. Like she's so cute.

SPEAKER_02

Do you feel like do you feel like yes, everyone will take pride in the fact that they're from uh like for example, we have Olivia Dean, we've got the Beatles, we've got all these big bands, and then I look across the pond and I'm like, damn, I love that person, I love that person. Yeah. However, we need to talk about the Jonas brothers busted and. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, there you go. This pride comes in real hard.

SPEAKER_02

But tell me, tell me, that's ours. You cannot tell us. No, that's ours.

SPEAKER_00

Like, I will I'll blow up about this. I saw Mc um, what's it called? McBusted? What was the combination?

SPEAKER_02

So did I, so did I and Lauren.

SPEAKER_00

Oh! What an excellent animal! God talk about being like this as home.

SPEAKER_02

I I bet we we knew each other at that point, but I bet you were in the same venue without me realising. Without realising I love it. Um that's insane. So, Danny, we all met obviously in drama school, and we were having a party on one of the floors, and we were playing really loud music, and obviously we were on the floor, John's floor, and he lived with um a Brit. Yeah. And uh his name was Tim. And he, me and Tim were like vibing, we're like, oh my god, he was smashed. And I was like, playbusted year 3000, and he went, Mave, fucking course. Let's make the Americans away. And I was like, yeah, were you there?

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Were you one of the pies? Oh god, it got so carnage. Anyway, so they all come in and then so year 3000 starts playing. All the internationals are going like mental, like mental. And Danny starts singing the song, and I was like, You know the song! He was like, Of course I do, it's the Jonas brother, and I said, sorry. And then this would have been because he was in Dan was in such a good form. He was such like, the Jonas brothers sing this, right? And I was like, uh, right. No. Um what the fuck are you talking about? No, Tony didn't ruin the end of this song, but the the song ended where usually I'd be going mental, and I was like, sorry, you're gonna have to go into this. What do you mean the Jonas brothers sing this? He goes, This is it, is this a c he went, is this a cover of the Jonas Brothers song? I don't know if he was trying to take a piss, but I think now he recalls it and he's just like, no, I knew that it would they were covering, but I was trying to rile you, and like he fucking riled us. Oh my god. We were like, no, this is busted. And then I remember going, really, if you don't know busted are you need to google. Like, because busted, guys, if you're American, busted are like three boys. They're who you used to fan over as a kid. Absolutely. They had the best songs, kind of punky pop, would you agree? Yeah, like yeah, definitely pop up. And they they're they were really fit if you were a teenager. So fit. You look at them now, you go, I don't get it. You know, no, but you at the time you would get it. Like they were. All the songs are kind of like edgy as well. Yeah, like crash the wedding. Like, oh my god. So it was year 3000, which is an absolute b of its time, absolutely sublime. And um And you're great, great, great granddaughter.

SPEAKER_00

Didn't they change the lyrics as well, Jonas Brothers, didn't they? Yes, they did. Because they couldn't say, like, your great, great, great granddaughter's pretty fine. She's like she's doing fine. She's doing fine. It's actually sinful when you think about it. I know. And they did the um Swell I go to school. No, they didn't. Oh, yeah, and they changed it to like not be like fancying your teacher. It's like about like something, another girl in class. Oh shit, I know they changed it all.

SPEAKER_02

See that I'm saying the Brits have a certain threshold, which we do. We go a little bit further than we should do. Oasis is definitely a point of view for mine. Oh, yeah, definitely. Um, because I think maybe there's a maybe there's a cleanliness to but also the Jonas Brothers at the time were wearing purity rings, so what can they do? I know what can they do? They couldn't do much. So uh just want to straighten the wreck off for everybody, if anyone's confused. The Jonas Brothers Year 3000 is a cover of the original band. Yeah, the busted year 2000, busted. And it's better. It's absolutely better. It's better, and they're playing. Well, that's why the Jonas Brothers stole it this week because it's so good. No dig on the Jonas Brothers. I love them so much. Oh, they're amazing. I love them. They're from Wyckoff, New Jersey.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. John's Pumping, yeah, it's the best. Oh, absolutely. Um they're so good. And like, I'm sure, like, I mean, they made the song more popular, like, across the pond in a way. Disgusting. So, like, people would know it if they heard busted now. It's just not wrong. And I'm doing we just need we just need to spread the word that like people should be listening to the original. Yeah. It's like with Taylor Swift with like Taylor's versions. Like, you shouldn't be listening to Taylor's version. Taylor's version. You should be listening to Busted.

SPEAKER_01

But it's also like when Dan at my wedding, it came on, he goes, Is this?

SPEAKER_02

I said, donut! And I'm pointing his head, do not open your mouth! And he was so because he's just he he picks a perfect moment. He knows he's not rattling me, but he's picking the perfect moment to like do a beautiful memory, and I will never think I just love him for it. But Christ, when he came over, I knew he started shuffling towards me. And I was like, Don't you dare say it, don't say it. And he was like, yo, is this this Jonas? Um, but when we talk about songs that mean a lot to Brits and mean a lot to Americans, yes, I think, yes, I think we have a like, for example, you said it perfectly earlier. You were like, Country Roads, country roads. Yeah. We go crazy for that, but no way near the way Americans go crazy for that. No. Like, I think we love it. I like an anthem almost, isn't it? Yeah. Oh my god, speaking of anthem, I just remember take that, have a few.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, take that. Yeah. I just watched um Better Man, the Robbie Williams. Did you like it? Like the Yeah. I want to watch it. Oh, yeah, no, it's really good. I think because I just really like Robbie Williams. I love Robbie. And he shares my birthday. No way! Yeah, that's way older than me, but he shares my birthday. I love that. You know who shares my birthday? Cookie monster. Yes, absolutely. Scorpio Murray, yeah. We're very much into intertwined. I feel one with the cookie monster. That's iconic. Um, but yeah, Bobby Williams, incredible. Oh there's banging songs there. Rock DJ. Yeah, oh my god. Oh, I love that song. I love that. And then also take that, have like so many bangs.

SPEAKER_02

They're separate. UK bang. I love them. Shine, take that. Let it shine, let it shine.

SPEAKER_00

It's so good.

SPEAKER_02

Dun dun dun dun. Hey! It's so cute. Give us a record deal.

SPEAKER_00

I know. But like when I look at it.

SPEAKER_02

When I look at it, we've got big bands, and I think every time, so for example, during our wedding playlist, I kept being like, right, we we have to throw in some bangers here for the Brits. Would you agree that Wonder Wall Oasis is up there? Yeah. Mr. Bright Side's up there. Hey Jude. Hey. Yeah, big, big. Because when that comes, I lose the plot, come on Eileen's a heavy hitter. I feel like come on, although you and I get excited about um Sweet Caroline, which I know that Danny goes crazy for. Would it be, I feel like come on Eileen is our like our equivalent.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, no, no. Yeah. I remember being in school and like me and like the girls in my like girl group were like, every time that came on, we had like a dance routine for it. Okay, we'd end up in like a circle. Yeah. And then we'd be like can like can can canning in the circle. And then like bring it up. It was like such a like like yeah, I don't understand how like it changes your like chemistry. Oh my god, I have to like I have to move, I have to make to get up. Like so right.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, here we go. Bangers kind of affect you in the I think so. And then there's um like McFly. McFly Summer Dell songs. Oh yeah, yeah. Which one is what's a Dell? Oh, rolling in the D. Rolling in the D. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Set fire to the rain. Oh god, when that we were in school when that came out, man. That shit just slapped. Um, Americans, John said he would go crazy for sweet home Alabama just because it's like sweet. Like, yeah, Alabama's the best place to be in the whole world. I wanna go. The song is Drive Through. The song is great, and then John said, as a New Jersey boy, born in the USA, Bruce Foundation. Absolutely pumped. Yeah, they're just the songs to get pumped to. But going back to our little pop moment, yeah. Um, I I always want to be like, who leads the way in these kind of things? I think Britney played a big part back in the day. Like she did, she broke a lot of things, a lot of rules. Um, and even now, like I I love got a lot of time for Brittany and I care about her a lot, and I'm just like most of the time quite worried. Yeah, yeah, it makes me sad. It does.

SPEAKER_00

And just want her to be okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and she but also like toxic.

SPEAKER_00

I'm like, are we kidding? Like, imagine, like I want to go back to like us hearing that for the first time. Yeah, like all those years ago. Like that that definitely changed my like chemistry. Like, I was listening to Cassie like this morning.

SPEAKER_02

Like you just you just look back and like I I was listening to Circus last week and you just drive Chloe, drive to Circus. Oh and I was on me and the center of the ring. Like this happened yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

I was in like a shop yesterday and um you want a piece of me came on, and like I like I have to stop and like dance. Like, hold on, I don't have to move.

SPEAKER_02

I think now we have a great I think we have a great pop. I think pop right now is so strong. Yeah, it's amazing, catchy, you're with it. Like espresso. I think I sang every single day when someone's like, Can I get an espresso martini? And I'm leaning in the fridge going well me every night.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, you can't help it.

SPEAKER_00

Please, please, please, as well.

SPEAKER_02

Like that was such a banger. There's she has a good album. I know you fell in love with it quicker than I did. Yeah. Because I there's something so I was like, nah. Man, child, man's master. Man, child, and um what is that one she did at the Grammys? Um Tears. Tears. No, no.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So good.

SPEAKER_02

It's so good. She's not my favourite pop girl. Yeah, fair. Um, I like what she stands for to an extent. Yeah. Um, she's quite controversial in she. She's controversial, but she's not not doesn't make me go like, oh god. She just makes me go, like, she knows the niche and she's really playing into it. She's playing into it. Like, that's also a thing, like Charlie XAS, I think uh I think you rather love her or you can't figure her out. Yeah. That's not a bad thing though.

SPEAKER_00

But she's like such a like, yeah, like Brit Pop moment right now. Like the modern day like Brit Pop. Yes, she is. Um, and like her have you seen like the trailer for her film that's coming out? Yeah, I probably won't be watching her. Are you watching it? I don't know. I just I just confused by it, but it's so I some documentary, yeah. About taking the piss out of herself, like in that I just some sort of like she's so interesting to me. I think she's so fun.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I don't she's just a bit whack, but I could whack her. Her wedding dress, I love I loved her wedding. Her wedding was super little sunny. Yeah, she was a vibe, she was an absolute vibe. She was such a vibe, and uh Black Parade.

SPEAKER_01

And just for the people of the room, Black Parade has to be mentioned as John just said. Black Parade. That's a banger.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's a big banger. That's a big American banger. Yeah, people up. Um, teenage dirt bags. I just thought you were gonna be like, oh god, that was petty my wedding. I was so good. Such a good vibe. Um I mean Sabrina is Dan's favourite artist.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we know from his Spotify, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we shared the Spotify, and like he's the reason why um Man Child was my number one. Oh my god. It's crazy. If you want to hype him up, like he played. Yeah, he just loves her. She's very good. What she said was that like he her songs are like what he would have like been obsessed with as a teen. Like, so if he heard songs like that, he'd be like, wow, she's making songs. Does he love her a little bit? Well, I don't know. I mean almost I'm sure, but like I think he's like so, but he's like the way it like kind of like scratches and itch. I think she like the way her songs are built are very like they could be turned into like like kids' songs really easily, yeah if that makes sense. They're very catchy, very catchy, very earwormy, very like like the the beats just like hit different, and like I agree, like I do think she's like got a way of like making it. She does, and she knows it too.

SPEAKER_02

Like T Swizzle though, Life of a Showgirl was my highest last year, which which it says a lot because that came out late and I just clearly binged her. Yeah. Um I love that album so much. Like, I I play her and I play Life of a Showgirl all the time. Because we even said it on here was like, hey kitty. Yeah, it's so good. The storytelling, it's all of the storytelling, yeah, exactly. And Olivia Dean taking all the Brit awards this year.

SPEAKER_00

She's I hope she like has made it. I I mean I feel like Man I Need is played in the US, but I really hope she kind of likes it.

SPEAKER_02

I think she's cracked, I think she's yet to do I think she yeah, I think she's cracked she's yet to do like a big one there, but I think she's on the way. Like Ray is about to hit the big time that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like Ray is like with um with a husband. I think like that has probably been a good one. That came out after my wedding. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh I know Pivotal Points coming out. I wish I was having at the time, that would have been great. Um and I also think, just to like before we sign off, yeah Unwritten by Natasha Birdingfield. Oh yeah. Across platforms, across the ponds, that woman just she's British? Australian? British, you're right. Just can get any if anyone's having a day, play on written, yeah, and you're just feel the rain on yard again. And you're like, you can feel the rain pouring down on you, even if it's sunny outside. You're just feeling pumped and buzzed.

SPEAKER_00

And it's also like that one um Girl Picture Records on the dummy, you're babe. Like that's also like so. I think they're both British, right? Yeah, they are. Yeah, so like that's her name. Corinne Ray? Corina Ray. Oh, yeah. Yeah, but that song is like, that's like transcendent as well. Just so just makes you proud. And it takes you back to like that nostalgic, yeah, like time in your life. When you're younger, songs come on. You're like, and I feel like that's gonna be like 2024. Yeah, the pop girlies year is gonna be that for like when in say like 10, 15 years time, we're gonna be like, oh my god, remember that like time where all of those songs came out? Like, that's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

Because in 2009 was uh the best that's when um YouTube turned to Vevo, Vivo, Vivo. Oh yeah, Vivo and that was like that was first off, I'm a big believer, so it was a Justin Pieper moment. Yes, and I remember being like, This is some of the best years for music, like Katy Perry doing like California Girl Teenage Dreams. Thank god it's Friday. She was huge. And I I miss her a little bit, man. I feel like she's been led on a different path. That era was incredible. But I like Rihanna, like rude boy, it was like beginning of like she just came out of the gate, and Rihanna now still was on fire. Like nothing's changed. She just put everyone's just got better and better and better. But like seems like when you pop a kid out, yeah, it's like we're going again, here we go. But it's like I think back that 2009, 2010, 2011. I was in year nine, year ten, year 11, and that was GCSE. And I remember just walking into school being like, okay, I haven't got my GCSEs, but I've got like the best music in my ears. And I feel like there wasn't a slump, but there was not a hard round. I think there's it's been, I think you're right, 2024 is like a big year of like, hey, this was a really intense, amazing year for pop. Yeah. Whereas like there might be other ones for a rap, like Kendrick Lowell, when Kendrick came out and did all my mother. I think that was in 2024. Yeah, it was.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I'm saying that year for music is insane. It's how I feel about 2009. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I love that. And I love that that you know we are having that again. Because like you just don't think that it's gonna get better than the music that you loved when you were younger.

SPEAKER_02

But it's true, and I still feel that a little bit with RB. I I I I listened to so much RB that I'm going, we were I was listening to Cassie, perfect example. I was listening to Cassie, and I was like, this hasn't got I don't think it's there right now. No. I think it will be. I think there was a thing about rap and RB not being where it is, like it was back in the day. It's not a bad thing. Because that will shift. Because that was the huge shift.

SPEAKER_00

It was like during that time. Like, remember Nelly? Like, oh yeah. Oh my god. All of those songs, like that they had their time. Now it was like kind of like the pop time. And now look, look what's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_02

Because when Adele came out, we were hitting hard ballads. Oh yeah, yeah. Like we were hitting like hard.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, because I was like on the kind of verge of pop, it came mainstream, but it was a lot of like the hard, hard ballads.

SPEAKER_02

And she didn't go on top, she did big royal album haul moments because it worked. Like now I feel like Ray's kind of swinging into that, who started off like, you know, like I want Prada. Yeah, she did. And now she's like, I like Jack. Because she's like in her own, like she's fully became her own. She found it. And I think she dropped a I don't know if she dropped a record label, but I remember I think she did. I think she did. And she was like, You want me to do this? I don't want to do that. I'm doing this. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I just that that's a that's such a flex. And like I think because of like the like the other artists that have like paved the way for like those conversations to happen. I think like, yeah, Taylor did that fully. Um, but like she's like people feel a bit more like and that's what I mean about like there's not much competition like at all. Like everyone's like kind of like helping each other. And that's how it should be.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Speaking of, this is just a quick one. I did you see that what's her name? Is it Tiana? Is that her name of Oscars? Oh, um Tiana Tiana, um What's her last name? From One Battle After Another. Yeah. Is it Taylor? Tiana Taylor. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Tiana. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

She uh uh is getting heat because when she lost her uh lost against what's her name for weapons she stood up and applauded her with grace, like she proper stood up immediately and was like clapping her. And everyone was like, that just seems false. I'm like, actually, that is what that is a woman def that is a woman um supporting another woman after she just lost. What like can women just not be competing? It's so exhaustive. And like she literally came out and she was like, Isn't it funny that you me celebrating someone else's win after me not getting something isn't being considered problematic? Yeah. Are you joking? It's always like an allowed case. She's already pinned against each other. Women are always getting pinned against each other. But are we doing it with men?

SPEAKER_00

No, like shut up. Like just shut it, it's so draining. It's just, yeah, it's a lot and it happens all the time. And it's again a bit, it's a bit much.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not mentioning Timothy Showmay again.

SPEAKER_02

Don't but I get butt. So yeah, I mean that was gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but like this is nice. This is so funny. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, we just yeah, don't there's no competition. We're all um we're all great, doing our own thing.

SPEAKER_02

It's a great year for music, and it's gonna consistently continue to be.

SPEAKER_00

And I think it's like inspired a lot of like younger artists as well. Because there's so many other young artists that are like coming through now that, like, oh, I feel like because I mean like every business is very male dominated. And I feel like this now is kind of like kind of broke that glass ceiling a little bit and been like, okay, like this is our time. But I feel like they're I mean, what it seems to be is like the people who are in the industry are like very giving in helping other people in the industry. It seems to be for the most part, and I think that's why like so many people got their time in that in that year. As they should have.

SPEAKER_02

Um whether they're doing it on their own without without help of Sony or whatever they need all. Scooter Braun's gone out the absolute ringer now, anyway.

SPEAKER_00

Terrifying deserved it. But um, yeah, this is great. I just love it. Gailies, girls supporting Gailies always. I love it. Um we talk about it all the time.

SPEAKER_02

I actually bought my Stanley today, as usual, um, because we needed an ice water. But I did go to I did go to White Fig today. Yes. Because I drive by it um and got an ice latte. Yes, it's not as it's not as warm as I would have liked to have been outside. However, I'm if I start drinking them, I'm pushing it. I'm pushing it into existence.

SPEAKER_00

I'm pushing the heat. I have an ice latte in the middle of December. Like, I'm not. Oh, you're crazy. I'm not. I'm like the Massachusetts is like fully taken over me. One hand in a glove, the other hand on an ice. I'm not okay. I'm always I'm always for it. Um, but yeah, I did the same today. I brought my Awala back in. She loves it. We had to move her Awala because it was chiming with Chloe's voice. It was crazy. What is this? I don't know. I'm kind of maybe I'm just so a resonant. We love a resonant moment. Um, but I did go to the Disney store yesterday. Um in London Street London. Because it's the only one, like one of the only ones left. It's big. And like Did you enjoy it? Did you buy it? Yeah, because like we had one in Cardiff like years ago, and like we used to just take days out and just go and sit in the Disney store and like watch, like, knowing they had like the clips of different movies on like the the projection. Well, hugging a Winnie the Pooh or E or literally. And so yesterday felt like no, I didn't sad. Did you want it? But receptacle-wise, it was one I wanted to wanted to mention because they have like a um wine glass like way set that are all like the Beauty and the Beast ones. So you know, like the little like design on like the plates and the beauty and the beast. Oh, you didn't how much? Because they were like 20 quid a pop a pop. And I need a set, so I'm gonna have to wait a bit, I think. Um but they like the little um like the the decorative, like it's like purple, blue, and pink. Oh little like and they had all of the wine glasses, they had all of the plates. Guys, she's losing the colour. Oh my god. I like I could like decorate my whole like kitchen like be our guest, like so. That was uh that was a recep just like a r uh retrospective. Was there a we can go? Do you want to go to the Winnie the Pooh section? I would love, I would love to. I need an Eeyore. I loved going just like because they still have the castle there. I I love Eeyore. Sorry, I just need to eat.

SPEAKER_02

I need an Eeyore. I've got a Piglet and a Winnie, but I definitely need an Eeyore.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know why everyone feels like Eeyore sometimes? Hey, I was obsessed with Eeyore as a kid. I had my bedroom themed after Eeyore. I think you told me that. Yeah, it was Lilac. It was really cute. But yeah, everyone needs an Eeyore. You know, he grounds you. He grounds.

SPEAKER_02

He also reminds you that you don't have to always be like A-O-K.

SPEAKER_00

You don't, yeah. You look like Piglet today. Thanks. You do and you can't.

SPEAKER_02

You do look like piglets. It's so funny, it's just so inappropriate. But I was like, mmm, don't know. Yeah, I was so inappropriate this morning. Me and John make jokes all the time. I had like this long, um, what do you call it? Like a fluffy hoodie on. Yeah, like an hoodie. He looked at me and he was like, Look like Winnie the Pooh.

SPEAKER_00

I forget that Winnie the Pooh is pantsless. I say that to Dan all the time. Maybe that is inappropriate, but just a t-shirt and two. You Winnie the Poohing.

SPEAKER_01

But also, if it would be really, really bad if we were Winnie the Poohing and Winnie the Pooh's top rim goes up just up to the poo. It's like a crop top, isn't it?

SPEAKER_02
