In a world where AI-generated content is everywhere and trust online is lower than ever, the way you show up in your business matters more than ever.

We are in a completely different online landscape than we were even a few years ago. AI has opened up incredible opportunities,  but it has also created something else:

A trust gap.

People are questioning what they see more than ever before.
They don’t know if content is real.
They don’t know if results are real.
They don’t know if the person they’re seeing is real or an AI avatar.
They don’t know if what’s being promised will actually be delivered.

And this has a direct impact on your ability to:

  • Attract your ideal clients.
  • Build authority.
  • and convert into sales for your online offers.

The good news? This has also created a huge opportunity for those brave enough to use it.

In this episode of The Aligned & Thriving Podcast, Jada breaks down this one huge opportunity available right now for service-based business owners, course creators, and membership owners:

👉 Showing up live

This episode is not about using AI. It’s about what gives you an advantage NOW because AI exists. Jada shares why live content, whether that’s:

  • Going live on Instagram or Facebook.
  • Running live events to sell into your offers.
  • Hosting live Q&A sessions.
  • or simply showing up on video raw and real without a script sharing in the moment things...

…is one of the fastest and most effective ways to build trust and convert into more sales. Inside this episode, you’ll hear:

  • Why we are now operating in a trust economy, and what that means for your business
  • How AI and polished content are contributing to distrust online
  • Why showing up real, unscripted, and imperfectly builds more trust than polished content.
  • The power of live Q&A sessions to demonstrate your expertise in real time.
  • How live interactions allow people to experience your authority, not just read about it.
  • Why people want to see that you can think, respond, and coach in the moment.
  • How staying on longer during live launch events (especially after teaching) can increase conversions.
  • Why live launch events are still one of the fastest and most powerful ways to grow your audience and sales.
  • How live elements are becoming more essential in sales funnels now and into the future.

Jada also shares real insights from conversations with other high-converting online business owners, including how live Q&A sessions can be the highest-converting part of a launch.

This episode is an invitation to:

  • Move through discomfort.
  • Let go of perfection.
  • and show up more fully as yourself.

Because in a world where so much feels automated, filtered, fake and uncertain…

👉 Being real is your advantage!

Episode 43. Welcome to the Aligned and Thriving podcast for female entrepreneurs, where we align systems, strategies, and self for sustainable success. My name's Shada. I'm your host, and in this episode I want to speak to you about the current. Opportunities and advantages of being brave enough to show up live and the extra importance of that in today's AI era.

Let's get into it.

There are of course, a lot of opportunities available to us in this rapidly evolving era of ai, and today I want to talk to you about an opportunity and huge advantage. That we are going to be able to utilize and create for [00:01:00] ourselves as digital entrepreneurs in the online education space with service-based businesses.

Whether you are a membership owner, a course creator, you run Masterminds coaching programs. This opportunity is not in fact to do with using ai, although of course we could talk about the many opportunities there and how to go about it ethically, how to go about it in a way that is gonna be most efficient rather than taking up your time.

That is not what I want to talk to you about today. The opportunity I want to speak to you about and really highlight. And encourage you to utilize is the opportunity and advantage in doing more live, whether that is going live on social media, whether that is being brave enough to run that live event to sell into [00:02:00] your online offer.

I am a live launch specialist and online offer growth strategist, and what I am seeing in this space is that those of us who are willing to put ourselves out there, be vulnerable, be imperfect, show up as ourselves, show up in our fullest. Expression, it's being authentic, yes, but it's also being, being okay with being a little bit messy.

Being okay with stumbling over our words, being okay with showing up and answering questions, being okay with maybe having to, deal with something that's maybe a little bit uncomfortable or respond to a question that feels a little bit uncomfortable. Those of us who are willing to do that. We'll have a huge advantage in converting and selling into our offers in this AI age [00:03:00] because there is so much distrust that is being brought about by the use of ai.

There is so much fake news in the world that we don't even know what to trust. We don't know if an image is real. We don't know if a video is real. We don't know if a significant news piece is real. So how can we stand out? How can we build trust, which is essential in people's decision making, in the process of looking to join our offers?

One of the really most powerful ways to do that is to show up live. It's to lean into live q and a sessions. It's to lean into showing up without a script leaning into showing up imperfectly, leaning into to sharing, you know, without necessarily your makeup done without. looking as professional as we might've felt we needed to in the past.

[00:04:00] Personally, I love this. Yeah, I like to dress up. I like to use some makeup. I like to do my hair, but not all the time, and I don't want to have to always show up in that way. Because what I have most to share is my knowledge and my experience and my ability to coach and mentor people through towards their next best step, to ask questions that will draw out their next best step, and have them moving towards where they want to go and.

That has nothing really to do with what makeup I'm wearing or what clothes I'm wearing. And so personally and a lot of people that are in my world or that I speak to, this is really great news for us because we are really real people. We like to have real conversations. We wanna make real connections and we no longer actually have to show up so polished.

In fact, when we don't. [00:05:00] We build more trust and yes, there is a combination that we want to show up in that really professional manner that is a match for your business. The clients you want to bring in, the members that you want to attract.

Yes, we need to look at and match our industry and look at what is necessary or expected, but also this is an opportunity to break some of those patterns and so. Really what I'm wanting to do in this episode is to bring your awareness to this because we are in a trust economy and people are mistrusting of what they're seeing online now more than they've ever been in the past, and that makes it a lot harder for us to attract people in and convert people and sell into our online offers.

People have been burned, people have heard something upfront only [00:06:00] to experience something else Behind the scenes. Maybe you've been the same. People are seeing, as I said before, photos and videos and fake news. So it's hard to know what to trust. So now more than ever having the bravery to move through any of our own.

Insecurities or feeling, uncomfortable around getting on live, doing live events. Now more than ever, we need to move through those things and focus on the outcome that we want. Focus on who we wanna serve, the impact that we want to make, and be brave and get out there show up and share our expertise.

Live as much as possible. This is where live, launching live events to sell into your office is going to be one of the fastest and strongest ways to build trust and convert and show your authority all of the pieces that we need to [00:07:00] do to really build our brand, build our sales, all of those pieces. I was away at a Mastermind just last week, and we were talking about in a group of people who all see themselves as being really good at conversion and they're having good success with conversion and sales into their offers.

And one of the women brought up that one of the things she feels works really, really well is her live q and a time. On her live launch event, and she feels that that period of time is one of the strongest converting pieces of her whole launch because it is when people get their personal questions answered.

But not only that, they really get to see her authority and her expertise on display in real time. The fact that she can respond, answer questions, give advice. and understand where people are at, [00:08:00] tell them what the next best step is and help them in real time across multiple people is a really fast and really huge way to boost that authority, to boost the way they see her as an expert in her field, and to lead more people towards making that decision to join her membership.

And that's a great example of how powerful it is to be live with people. If you can speak off the cuff and they can see that you are showing up real and raw, even if you stumble over a word, you don't need to be perfect, but you need to show that you know your stuff and live right now in this AI era, in this trust economy where people don't know what is fake and what is real.

The more you can do that. The better for your growth, for your authority, for your brand, for building trust, all of those pieces. So I encourage you to take a [00:09:00] step forward, whatever that might be for you. Maybe you wanna commit to doing regular lives on social media, on Instagram, on Facebook, across both.

Maybe you're going to commit finally, to doing that live launch event into your offer, or at least some aspect of it. Maybe you're going to promote a live q and a session. It could be on Zoom, it could be on social media, whatever it is. I encourage you to come up with at least one live aspect. That you can bring into your business to start doing regularly to more quickly, more solidly, and in a bigger way, grow that trust, that authority and connection with people.

Now, yes, it is some effort. There's been a big kind of trend with, you know, live launching is dead. People aren't showing up for it, people aren't buying, people aren't signing up, they're too busy. My prediction going [00:10:00] forward is that if and when. And by the way, it's not just a prediction. It is a pattern that I'm seeing with my clients who are successfully growing their online offers, courses, and memberships through live launches.

That is live events based selling and converting into their offers. They're growing from under 50 to 70 to a hundred and getting over a hundred people coming in through their launches. and at the same time growing their email lists by thousands of people, and therefore finding that when they open card again, that they're having more conversion from those people who would've come in last time because they're building that trust.

So even though I'm seeing that in my world, what I'm predicting is that there is gonna be a resurgence of a, not just this happening, but a need for there to be live elements in your sales funnel. Let's call it. [00:11:00] because when we try to automate everything in this day and age, it takes too much of us out of it. And people are feeling it. People want more connection. They want more real. They want to know that you can truly deliver what you're promising you can deliver. They wanna see that in the moment. You can give them information that you know your stuff, that you're not reading from a script, you're not reading from a script that maybe AI wrote for you.

That it's actually you live in the moment, not a AI avatar of you. So now more than ever, it is important to be real, to bring in live aspects, to be on video imperfectly to show that you are human, so that you can lean into the necessity of this trust economy and build that trust quickly and effectively.

So take action. Decide on one live thing that you're gonna bring into your conversion, your attraction, your [00:12:00] sales, and start with that. And I encourage you to be brave if that feels uncomfortable. And I encourage you, if you already have been doing live events to sell into your online offers, don't jump off at the end Really quick.

Stick around for questions. Have some questions pre-prepared that you can ask to encourage more questions, to show your expertise, to answer, frequently asked questions, to speak to the common objections and blocks that people might have to come in. Show that you can speak off the cuff about those things.

Don't feel like you need to jump off. So if you're already doing those events and you kind of wrap up and you kind of jump off after the sale, or if there's not many questions, I encourage you that this is your next stretch. Your next stretch is to stay on there and encourage more questions. I have even promoted in the past doing a pure q and a session, invited a small number of people into a free event saying that they could bring their launch questions, their burning launch [00:13:00] questions along, and I would answer them live.

So it would be a little mini laser coaching session with just a small group of people. This is a great way to build that connection, that trust, and that authority really quickly. So there are many ways that you can go about it. If you need some accountability, reach out. Connect with me on Instagram. I am at Jada Business Mentor.

Come and let me know that you are going to do something live and tell me what it's going to be and when you're going to do it. That is my challenge for you and my encouragement to show up more on video. Get on and do things live, whether it's an event or just a live on Instagram or Facebook, or inviting a small group of people in who might be warm and giving that, taste of you in your natural element to share your expertise.

Alrighty, I hope that this has encouraged you, inspired you, and helped you to get into action with showing up more on video and more live. As always, if you've got any questions, please let me know.
