Ep46: Before You Buy Another Launch Solution, Learn This Skill
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
There’s a lot of noise in the online business space about what you “need” for a successful launch.
Better messaging.
More visibility.
The right conversion story.
A different event style.
Stronger visuals.
Longer launch runway…
And while all of these things matter…
None of them matter in isolation.
And they are NOT necessarily the next best thing to focus on to improve YOUR launch results.
Because the real question isn’t:
What creates a successful launch?
It’s: What does YOUR next launch need to improve results?
So please, before you invest in another launch solution, listen to this episode to learn the skill that will tell you what YOU need to focus on next for more launch success.
In this episode, I break down why being told “this one thing will fix your launch” is often what keeps you stuck, you stay in learning mode, and you spend time and money tweaking things that may not be your next best launch move, and the skill you actually need to develop FIRST if you want to improve your results.
Because sometimes…
Yes, it is one thing that needs to shift.
But if you don’t know what that one thing is, based on your own data, your own audience, your own launch (or because it’s your first launch)…
You could easily keep chasing the wrong solutions - the ones being put in your face as you scroll.
Inside this episode, I walk you through:
Why “fixing one thing” can be the solution, but only when it’s the right thing.
The difference between general launch advice and personalised insight.
Why guessing what to improve or just listening to every person on the internet specialised in a specific part slows your growth.
The importance of reviewing your launch properly before making changes or deciding what to invest in next to help you succeed.
How developing this skill changes how you approach every future launch.
This is a must-listen if you’re tired of trying different things without clear results, feeling unsure what to focus on next, overwhelmed by all the messages around the ONE thing you need for launch success on socials, or you’re wanting your launches to feel more strategic and less reactive.

Ep46: Launch Truths for Women Ready to Cut Out The Noise and Grow with More Profit and Ease
Welcome to the Aligned and Thriving podcast for female entrepreneurs, where we align systems, strategies, and self for sustainable success. My name's Jada. I'm your host, and today's episode is, I hope, something that is going to really empower you to find. And know exactly what you need to be focusing on, and which investments or support you need to be looking for next to create more success, more ease, more profits in your live launches, to grow your online offers, whether that's a membership, of course, a program, a mastermind, and This one's got a bit of a bee in my bonnet at the moment, and I'm looking forward to breaking it down with you here on the podcast.
Lately I have been feeling frustrated by some of the marketing that I'm seeing around [00:01:00] online, on social media when it comes to people marketing. Really into their offerings, in their specialization. And I get it. I'll explain that could, and I'll underline the word, could help you to have more success in your live launches, in your launches, in growing your digital offerings.
And the reason I'm frustrated is because so many times the messaging is basically. this is the one thing that is missing. You need this to have success with your launches. If you're not doing this thing, you won't have success with your launches or this is the one thing missing which would create success for your launches.
And I get it. each of these people are specialized in a particular thing and they can absolutely help you with that thing. What am I talking about? I'm talking about when you hear. You just need to fix the [00:02:00] messaging above the fold on your opt-in page or you stronger visuals will. Improve your launch success or it's the, conversion story that is letting down your launches.
Let's fix that. Or the problem with your launches is that you're using the wrong style. I guess the main B in my bonnet is when it's put in a way where it's kind of like. This is the problem, like this is the missing link to your launches being successful without those people knowing what the actual missing link is in your, underscore your launches, because.
It is confusing and it's overwhelming for everyone. This is where my frustration stems from. For everyone who doesn't know what the problem is, Maybe you've tried to do a live event to sell into your online offer, so a live launch event, [00:03:00] and it's felt like way more effort than the results.
Maybe you've done it once, maybe you've done it twice, three times, four times more. Or maybe you're not having success, however many times you've been doing it, and you're not getting the results that are equal to the effort or that you are desiring. I'm imagining that's one of the reasons you're here listening to this podcast, or maybe you haven't tried yet, but you've heard lots of things and you're trying to work out what to focus on, what skills you need, what information you need, what you need to be focused on to do your first ever live event.
Launch into your offer to, go to that next level to reach new people, to attract more people towards you, to step into more authority. That's all the pieces that a live event launch into your online offer helps you to do plus more. So when you are pretty much quite literally being shouted at by lots of different people with lots of different offerings specializing in different [00:04:00] areas.
Telling you that in order for you to have live launch success or launch success, or to be able to grow your online offer, you need this particular thing. You need to have. The right conversion story. You need to have disruptive visuals. because your messaging isn't right.
That's why you're not growing. It's because the opt-in page above the fold isn't right. It's because the style of launch that you've tried is the wrong one. When it is done in this way of kind of almost fear or this sense of, oh my gosh, like what have I got wrong or what am I missing? It causes a lot of overwhelm and worry.
And while all of those things, let me be clear, all of those things that I have mentioned are indeed very important. But as somebody who support port various women at various stages. With their launches to grow their online offers and I am a part of, very high level spaces where [00:05:00] my mentor specialized in this as well, where I am with peers who are doing this, communities who are doing this.
My experience of doing this multiple times tells me that all of those things are important, but they are not all. The thing that is going to save your underline, your next launch necessarily. Maybe they could be. Maybe they could be, but if you're sitting in a space where you're like, oh, I just need to do this other course, or I just need to learn this other skill to make sure that my next launch is.
Successful and you go and do that, and then you do next launch and then it still doesn't work out. And you're wondering why this just causes a lot of frustration, right? It can have you ending up feeling like you just wanna give up because you're like, what is wrong? Like, is it me? Is it my offer? What's going on?
And, and what really needs to happen? Do you wanna know what really needs to happen? Do you wanna know what you really need to do to. Improve your next launch. [00:06:00] Where that starts, you need to actually know what the problem areas were in your last launch. If you have launched before and you are looking at all of these different options and you are like, maybe that's the thing.
Maybe that's the thing. If you don't know what it is that you need to be focusing on, then. You shouldn't be choosing any one of those things. You first of all need to know from your own data, from your own information, you need to be able to analyze where the gaps were, where the biggest opportunities are, and what in your launch needs to be focused on next to improve results.
And then you can go searching if you need to upskill in that area or get support or coaching or mentoring in that area, then you can go searching for the learning, that skill, the support, the coaching, the mentoring in that area if you need it. But it comes back to you. You need to know as the [00:07:00] person who's launching.
What the problem is and where the opportunities are and how to read all of that information and how to choose what one to three things to focus on next launch so that it will improve from the last one. Unless somebody has gone in and actually audited your launch, who knows how to do that? They cannot tell you what is going to fix your launch.
And it is a skill that you need to develop. It's a skill that I support my clients in developing. Every time they do a launch with me, they do a launch debrief and I audit it. But I also ask them to look at the data and I also take them right through the data so that they are learning what to look for, learning how to prioritize the next best focus areas, and we are working together.
I'm coaching them to. And consulting, like I'm giving my opinion, but I'm also helping them to learn and choose where to focus next. Depending on their capacity, depending on their overarching [00:08:00] business goals, depending on the phase of their offer, depending on, yeah, what is the next most important thing within their business?
Is it freeing up their time? Is it going for more income? Like what is it? All of those pieces play a part in choosing what to focus on next. Of course, beyond fixing the parts that might have been broken or fixing the parts that were letting the launch down the most, or focusing on the parts where the biggest opportunity is towards the highest priority, whether that is cash flow, whether that is ease, whether that is systems, whether that is reach, it could be a number of things.
So this is really, really important. If you haven't launched yet, and this is all new to you, and you're wondering, well, what should I be focused on? What skills, knowledge, support do I need to be looking for to be able to build my first live launch so that it's set up with the right foundations because I'm hearing that I need X, Y, Z [00:09:00] and L, m, n, O, and P, like every part of the, every part of the pieces, like you need it all and it's all urgent.
All the thing that's gonna fix or solve your live launch problems, right? What do you need to actually focus on? You need to focus on the foundations. You need to understand that the first launch is going to be an experiment, and that the biggest goal should be to actually set up the structure and the systems and the base strategy in a way that is solid.
And that you can test and check and experiment with each of those aspects so that by the end of it you have a structure and a system that is built and you can read the data on. And from there you can know what to focus on next. And yes, ideally we would go for signups and sales from that very first launch.
And when it's done well, that's absolutely possible. But the foundational systems before we go, adding on lots of [00:10:00] other layers are what you need first. So my point is just be careful with the noise. That is there, and this is absolutely no shade or disrespect to any of the people who are out there. And I'm, I'm marketing my services.
I am talking about what I can do to support you. But what I really dislike is this idea that this one thing is going to solve all of your launch problems if you don't know what your actual launch problems are. And I just. Get worried and frustrated that lots of people are going to be going to fix this area that might not actually need to be fixed for them.
At the moment, yes, they're all important, as I said, but. Which ones are actually important for you now and next? That is the question you need to ask yourself. Instead of looking outside, like, this person is telling me I need this to have a successful launch. That person's telling me I need that to have a successful [00:11:00] launch.
All right, cool. You need to look at your launch and figure out what your launch needs to have more success, more profits, more ease. And if you don't know how to do that, then that is what you need to learn how to do first. Before you then go seeking help with specific areas or changing the style or trying to follow somebody else's style of launch that worked well for them, you need to find the style that is going to be right for you, for your customers, for your, stage of offer, for your offer, all of those things for the goals that you have.
So if this is something that you need help with, to understand how to audit. Your launches. The place to start is tracking your data. I have a free essential launch data tracker, which you can grab in the show notes, or you can send me a DM on Instagram, Jada Business Mentor. That is the place to start, so you know what data and information to track from your previous launches if you've already launched.
And it's from that, that you'll be able to find the holes and the [00:12:00] opportunities, and if you're not sure how to read that, then reach out to me. I do offer launch audits and also one off strategy sessions, laser strategy sessions where we can dive deep so that you can understand exactly what your next moves need to be.
Or for example, if you're going to run your first launch, what do you really need to be focusing on first, but however you do it? My sincere desire, wish, hope for you is that you work out what you and your launch needs. Then you look for the help with that if you need it. Don't just listen to all of the noise telling you what you need to have a successful launch.
It needs to start with your actual launch. If you have any questions, please reach out because I am all about empowering you to learn how to and create a really. Solid, reliable, repeatable [00:13:00] launch system that you can build, optimize, and then scale in a way that is personalized to you so that you are utilizing tried and true strategies and working on the next best steps for where you are at, what your focus is and how your launch is actually performing.
And personalizing all of that to you and your offer and your face and your stage, because it's really not about just doing one size fits all. A launch style that works for one person isn't the right launch style for another offer. So we need to make sure that we're looking to find the thing that is a match for us, for our offer and for the people that we want to serve.
I hope that this episode has been helpful for you and I hope that you really take that time to understand what your launch needs next and get the help with that if you need it. And if you're not sure, please reach out. I'd love to have a chat and help you with that or point you in the right [00:14:00] direction.
You can reach out to me. My dms are open over on Instagram, Jada Business Mentor, or you can reach out via the contact in the show notes. If you have enjoyed this episode and found it helpful, please leave me a five star review and please share it with the business bestie who you think it might help as well.
