In the final episode of Speaking Diplomatically, Integrity Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) experts Niki Wood, Lamia Renaud and Eleanor Delaney-Stone join host Anthony Ellis once more. They discuss navigating the notoriously difficult route to find successful evaluation methods for Influencing and Diplomacy (I&D) interventions.

In Episode 4: Building bridges and testing load bearing capacity, our team discuss how methodological bricolage – bringing together of elements of different methods into an evaluation approach – means their evaluation approach is collaborative, supportive, open to a range of possibilities, and also anchors everything back to the programme or intervention in question.

In 2025 we have successfully showcased our toolkit for theorising, monitoring, and evaluating in a difficult-to-evidence sector at the UK Evaluation Society conference and in a tailored webinar. Now we are bringing busy audiences the opportunity to dive into this complex topic through four 15-minute episode.
