Cheaper peptides might look tempting, but if you don’t know what you’re getting or you don’t have the right clinical support, you’re gambling with your health.

There's many reasons why we recommend ordering through out telehealth platform - safe, effective, and you get the right support. When you make the smart choice and choose to know exactly what you're taking, you can have confidence in the results.

Today's episode walks you through the what is currently available on our telehealth peptide platform, why we trust prescription-based peptide therapy, and how we think about choosing the right option based on your goal, not a trend.

We start with the heavy hitters for metabolic health: GLP-1 and GLP-1 plus GIP (tirzepatide).

  • injectable vs oral drops,
  • explain how microdosing differs from a weight loss program,
  • talk through common add-ons like methylated B12, L-carnitine, glycine, and NAD (oral).

Along the way, we connect the dots between appetite regulation, insulin sensitivity, inflammation reduction, and what “better results” actually means when you’re trying to lose weight or stabilize blood sugar without feeling miserable.

From there, we cover longevity and performance peptides we’re seeing more people ask for:

  • sermorelin for supporting your body’s own growth hormone production,
  • NAD+ for cellular energy (including the nasal spray experience),
  • Synapsin for focus and memory, and
  • glutathione for liver support and detox, especially during rapid fat loss.

We also get into recovery and aesthetics with:

  • GHK-Cu,
  • BPC-157 plus TB-500,
  • immune support with thymosin alpha-1,
  • sleep support with DSIP,
  • metabolic flexibility with MOTS-C,
  • and newer options like topical skin support and melanotan 2.

Welcome And What’s Available

SPEAKER_00

Peptides are powerful and often misunderstood. And we're here to change that one conversation at a time. I'm Dr. Kylie Burton. And I'm Jessica Brickie.

SPEAKER_02

This is Pep Talk, Peptides Unpacked. Science Made Simple, Results Made Real. Today's episode, we're going to go over what is currently available as far as the peptides are concerned on our telehealth medicine platform. So if you've been wondering what are all the options, we're going to go over them and then highlight which what they're specifically used for. Just brief summary, so not too in depth. All right. Okay, here we go. There have been a lot that have been become available in the last two months. So it's even a good review for Jess and I as we do this.

SPEAKER_00

Starting at the top, Jess. Yep. Your favorite.

GLP-1 And Tirzepatide Programs

SPEAKER_00

My favorite is always going to be the GLP category. I think that the GLP, GLG LP1, and the GIP is pretty much across the board going to help everyone, no matter what it is that they're looking for, at least in a microdose level. We offer it in a couple of different programs. We first have just the GLP1 injection or oral drop. So if you don't like injections, there is the option for oral drops. You're going to have a better response with the injection versus the oral. And we do personalize those by adding either a B12, an L-carnitine, or glycine NAD. Or with the oral drops, you can get that without an add-on. You can just get just the GLP1. The NAD actually is also only for the oral. So when we're talking just GLP1, those are the options. Then we have the GLP1 and the GIP, or commonly known as trisepatide. That also will come. That's your favorite. Yep, my favorite. And really it's my favorite because it's hitting two pathways, but also there's less side effects. Um, so that's going to come also as an injectable or oral drops and the same add-ons for personalization: the B12, L-carnitine, glycine options, and for oral, that can be done with NAD or it can have no add-on whatsoever. Both of those can be done in a microdose program or a weight loss program. And the difference, if people are wondering, would be if you are in a category of maybe 20 pounds, if it's weight loss or less, you'd be looking at the microdose. If you're looking for inflammation, you're looking for microdose. If you are looking for more weight loss blood sugar, bigger goals, 20 25 pounds and above, you're going to do the weight loss program. But all of these are going to hit the receptor sites. We've covered this a million times for lowering inflammation, the entire body, um, and helping to utilize insulin and balance our blood sugar. So I love them. I love them for everybody, whichever way you go, weight loss or microdose.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. When it comes to the add-ons, the B12, the L-carnitine, and the glycine, we do dive into those on Stella's episode. I can't remember the number, but Stella's a pharmacist. So go back and reference that episode for details on when you're purchasing, those automatically

Why Cheap Peptides Can Backfire

SPEAKER_02

come included. And let me just add on this really quick before we dive into the rest. When you're purchasing these things, you are getting the best peptides with correct support. And that is very important. When people are going out looking around, like, oh, I found this for cheaper. It's cheaper for a reason. If you want to get cheap, be a peptide. Yeah, if you want to get cheap and inject it in your body and take that risk. I mean, you're taking that risk, but there's a reason why we recommend who we recommend beyond the peptides availability themselves. There's so much more to this than just taking an injection. Okay, so you just covered the uh microdose option and the weight. I covered it out there. Yep.

Sermorelin And Methylated B12

SPEAKER_02

We're gonna dive into the next longevity peptide, which is somoralin. Samoorin comes in injection or capsules. This is a synthetic peptide that encourages the body to produce its own growth hormone, leading to more balanced natural hormone levels. This is great for people who are post-menopausal and want to really focus on their bone density. It can also be great for athletes and weekend warriors. But I think primarily think about uh Surmorlin for that menopausal, postmenopausal, healthy bones person.

SPEAKER_00

Next up on longevity, we have B12 as an option. So, yes, you can add that onto your GLPs, but you can also do it on its own. It is a methylated methylated form of B12. Um, this is gonna say that.

SPEAKER_02

Let's make note that this is methylated cobalamin. So those of you are like, oh, I have MTHFR, this is methylated. Yes, it is. Yes, yes, it is. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So if you're exhausted, maybe you're suffering some from from some brain fog, you might consider doing this methylated form of B12.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, just to cut out for just a minute. So let's go back to go back to explaining B twelve.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, you ready? From the top of B twelve?

SPEAKER_02

So after we just said this is mathyloided, that's what kind of cut off on.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay. So B twelve is gonna be for somebody that is dealing with fatigue and brain fog, maybe a little bit of weakness, neurological impairments. This could support a quick boost of energy and overall well-being. So if you need a little bit of lift up because you're super tired, this methylated B12 might be a good idea to consider.

NAD+ For Cellular Energy

SPEAKER_02

NAD plus, one of my I think I've been recommending this one the most for people specifically for energy. So if you're looking for more energy at the cellular level, NAD plus, you have the injection and the nasal spray. This is a vital coenzyme playing a crucial role in cellular metabolism, energy production, and overall cellular health at the mitochondrial level. The nasal spray offers quick absorption for brain and body function. And then the injection, of course, goes straight to your cells. Jess, you had an experience with this one. What was our experience like?

SPEAKER_00

Very dad did it for the first time. So full transparency. The nasal spray does have a little bit of a burn for just a few seconds, probably maybe 10 seconds, a little bit of a burn. It was shocking at first, even though I knew it was coming.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but I felt big one down, pass it around. 99 bottles of NAD plus on the cot table.

SPEAKER_00

We sure did. We shared it. We probably shouldn't share that we shared it, but we sure did pass that sucker around. Um, I it was a middle spring. Fantastic. Literally had energy for days. I just felt like I could I could climb out up Mount Everest. I just felt incredible. And you saw me going around a room of 600 people trying to track people down to tell their stories on the podcast. Like I was ready to roll. I was great. Loved, loved it. So it is on the way for me because that this is definitely.

SPEAKER_01

You've ordered it already.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, this is this is gonna be in my arsenal a hundred percent. Great.

SPEAKER_02

I've got a couple people, they have the injections, and I haven't heard any complaints from the injections, uh, but we started them off because energy is our biggest concern. And one of them, she's like, I okay, I finished my round of NAD plus, but I didn't feel anything. Like, girl, your cells are fried then. So we added in some MOTC. Okay. So we've got more for structure, so that will help. Yeah. Yeah, that's what she's on now for cellular energy. And like I said, her complaint is energy. She's like, I'm 55, I need to keep up with my grandkids, and I can fake it, but I'm exhausted all the time. There's no way to go. So energy and a D plus, and we'll get to MOT C as a combination. Uh

Synapsin For Focus And Memory

SPEAKER_02

Jess, explain synapsin.

SPEAKER_00

All right, so synapsin, we have this as a nasal spray also. This is going to support cognitive function, mental clarity, brain health with a cutting-edge formula that's really it's designed to support our focus and our memory. You know, that walk in the room, what the heck did I come here for? Sensation that we may experience. Um, some of us experience when we reach a certain age because of menopausal symptoms. Some of us it might be stress-related. Um, we have young kids, we're not getting enough sleep, whatever it is. This synapsin can help with that focus and memory. So brain fog. Um, there's even some suggestions that it could even be preventative for dementia.

SPEAKER_02

Not as a nasal spray. I'm not sure if you said that. Yeah, but nasal spray. Love it for the brain because it literally goes straight to the brain using the nasal passages.

Glutathione For Detox And Liver

SPEAKER_02

Next up is glutathione. I'm gonna let you take this one because I know it's also on your list.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. Well, I'm a big fan of liver support. So glutathione is really an antioxidant treatment. So it's gonna help support detoxification. It helps to reduce that oxidative stress and enhances our immune function by doing this. So glutathione is something that we need to really support the liver detox processes. Um, I certainly do this with other ways naturally in my body, but I did glutathione last week for the first time. Um, I did an injection, and that was because I was traveling. And when I travel, my bowels are a little bit messed up. I think a lot of people that even when we're really regular could relate to that. And so we had a busy few days at convention. I needed to be on my game and not, you know, backed up and have extra toxins working through my body. So I did a glutathione injection and I felt amazing. I didn't have any issues. I'd never, usually for me, it's like 48 hours of my body catching up, like, oh, we're traveling, we're safe, we're okay, we can resume activities as normal. But this glutathione, I never skipped a beat. Um, so I was able, BMs were great. I felt incredible, but we want to do this to help um again support the liver function, the detoxification processes in the body, because that liver is busy with over 500 jobs. So glutathione liver support is at the very top of my list. I will always tell you next to GLPs for everybody, support your gut and support your liver. And if you can do that, that's a home run. You're way ahead of the game.

SPEAKER_02

I was just gonna say, if somebody is on GLPs and like, what should I add in next? Your recommendation would probably be glutathione because that liver and that liver importance.

SPEAKER_00

And and also people when they're losing weight really quickly, most people that are in this situation probably have poor liver function. Now, it doesn't mean that the liver is problematic, it just means that it's struggling. And when we're losing a lot of weight quickly, two things. One, we store toxins in our fat cells. So when we're losing fat, we've got now got all these toxins in the body. We need to be able to process and eliminate those. And if our liver isn't functioning well and it's kind of bogged down with thick, crappy bile and it can't do its job, we're gonna not feel very good because of rapid weight loss because we don't have good detox. So the glutathione is a really good support when we're going down that journey. If you're doing GLPs and you feel really tired, probably glutathione is what you need to add in because you need to pick up your detox.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. If you're on a weight loss journey, glutathione needs to be included in that journey.

GHK-Cu For Skin And Hair

SPEAKER_02

GHKCU is an injection, it is a copper peptide studied for skin rejuvenation, wound healing, hair growth, and inflammation regulation, promoting cell and tissue vitality. So when you think GHKCU, think injury healing, specifically skin injuries, and I think hair too, hair growth, hair skin nails for sure. Hair skin nails. Now, this one is included in the CLO, K-L-O-W. So if you're like Kylie, like me, I want to do one injection and get four benefits. Well, G H K C U was in that benefit with BPC and then the KPV, TB500. So you got all four of those in the clo. This one, you know, the funny thing is, is uh I I get into all these masterminds like in 2019, 2020, ramping up my old business, and I had no clue the amount, the popularity of extensions in your hair. No idea. And so this whole world of hair and how important people's hair and their beautiful length and thickness and curls and all the things. It's like, huh?

SPEAKER_00

What if some G H K C U can make it so you don't have to have the Well, I know somebody who was on her weight loss journey with GLP, um Carly, actually, and then she talked about it a little bit and she wore extensions for a little while because she did lose some hair. There was a lot of weight loss, and she did lose a little bit of hair during that time. She went on this to help grow her hair. She no longer wears her extensions.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, see? So if you are on a weight loss journey and you're worried about your hair falling out, there you go.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. And also for anybody that is um recovering from injuries, so beyond the beauty benefits of the GHK for how we look, how our skin looks, um, it's gonna help down lay down collagen layers in the in other areas of the body too. So if we have injuries we're trying to recover from, this can be something that you layer on. But again, going back to that closed stack would be the way to go because we would get all those the benefits of lowered inflammation and the healing, and then the traffic director with the TB500. But the GHKCU, powerful peptide, people love this one. Little spicy, but people love it.

SPEAKER_02

A little spicy if you I'm told, we're told to put it at room temperature, and then you won't even notice the spice. And with the new pen coming out, which we can get into in a later episode, who knows? Maybe there won't even be a spice to it. So

BPC-157 Plus TB-500 For Recovery

SPEAKER_02

speaking of Clow and BPC 157, TB500, the way you want to think about these two things, they are in combination. BPC157 is a it promotes faster recovery, supports tissue repair, enhances gut health, reduces inflammation, and optimizes resilience to physical stress. So if you're an athlete, if you're wanting to work on injury recovery from those athletics, whether you're a weekend warrior or a full-time athlete, anything in between, if you're like me and you're about to run your first half marathon and you just like you know, you need some motivation, need to make sure your joints, your work are going well, inflammation's down. This is a must. BPC is more of the healing, and then TB500 is more of the communicator. It tells BPC where to go to do the healing.

SPEAKER_00

Right. You hear a lot of people. Right. So you hear a lot of people talk about having to inject at the site of an injury if that's what you're doing. With this combination, you don't need to do that. If you're doing BPC 157 on its own, yes, you would want to do it near the site, but when you're doing it in combination, that TB500 is gonna take it where it needs to go.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I started on this round, uh, done the capsules, just about finished with them. And then as soon as this new pen comes out, I'm gonna upgrade to Clow. Hey,

Tesamorelin Stack For Visceral Fat

SPEAKER_02

tesamaralin and an epimorin. These ones are for bodybuilders specifically.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

Go for it, Jess.

SPEAKER_00

This is an injection. Uh, it's a synthetic peptide that works together with the body's natural growth hormone production. So when we talk about anything that talks about growth hormone, we do have one um precursor that we want to watch out for. So familial history with cancer or your own personal history because because this does promote cellular growth and reproduction, we want to make sure that we're also not reproducing any cancer cells. So there is a little bit of a, hey, if we have that history, we just want to be careful. But outside of that, this tessamerelin is fantastic for helping to target visceral fat and promoting um muscle integrity and muscle repair and growth in the body. So think of your athletes, your muscle builders, it will help that that visceral for that visceral fat being burned, um, that belly fat that we just kind of can't get rid of. And when we're doing that, we are also helping to support hormonal balance with the ipomerillin component here. Um, so this is a lovely one that we see a lot of men, it's good for everybody, but a lot of men love this one because men kind of had a have a hard time a little bit with the belly and the love handles and some of that visceral fat, that in the middle fat, and they want to encourage keeping their muscles nice and strong, keeping their testosterone high by doing that. So this is not it, it doesn't promote testosterone, but it supports the production of testosterone.

SPEAKER_02

Testamoralin can be combined with either epimorin or KPV, and KPV is anti-inflammatory and gut healing. Yeah, and gut healing. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

So you have two options there.

Brain And Sleep Peptides Roundup

SPEAKER_02

Methylene blue. I've also used this one. I had to stop using it though, because one of the side effects is that you're more sensitive to the sun. I don't need any more help being sensitive to the sun. Uh so we'll put that on pause and resume it in the winter months. This is oral, it's a pharmaceutical grade mitochondrial enhancer and antioxidant. At low doses, it can support memory, mental clarity, cellular energy, and healthy brain aging. And that's why I started it was for the mental side.

SPEAKER_00

So did you notice a pickup in that? We've never talked about it. Well, how your experience was that?

SPEAKER_02

I don't I don't think I was consistent enough to be honest. Okay. And and I think I like I was taking it more for because I understand what it's doing at the cellular level, not for me to notice really anything like feeling anything different. My brain works pretty well in 36 years old. And I depend upon my brain, like a lot of us do. But I just was like more of a pre protective kind of okay.

SPEAKER_00

Next up we have DCP, delta sleep inducing peptide. This one is gonna support deep restorative sleep, stress resilience, and hormonal balance by modulating the body's natural sleep wake cycle. So it works totally different than melatonin, which is a hormone. Um, so you if you're looking for better sweep sleep quality or sleep resilience, maybe you have a hard time going to sleep, or you're waking up during the night, you're not getting that good REM sleep. This might be a consideration for you. This is an injection. Uh, I don't know anybody, this is new. This is new to our lineup, and I do not have any experience with this personally, nor have I put anybody on this one yet. So I don't have feedback how people are doing on this. How about you, Kylie? Have you talked with anybody that's used it?

SPEAKER_02

I just wish it came for kids. Because I could give it to all three months. Your kids could use a little bit more sleep. Help a mama out here. All right, CMAX and Celink. These are both nasal sprays. Let's talk about CMAX first. It is a neuroprotective peptide that enhances cognitive performance, focus, and memory while supporting brain resilience and what is called BDNF production. So think about it as CMAX is cognitive performance, neuroprotective, where C Link is more for anxiety, depression, and mood support. So I think of CMAX as like ADHD, ADD, those kind of people where you're, you know, I was talking to Easton last night because he's so insistent that he has ADHD, and I'm like, we probably do, but I'm never gonna give you medication for it because I don't believe in that stuff. That said, there are other natural things that you can do because a lot of you know, your quote successful entrepreneurs have ADHD. They've just learned a channel and support. So if you're looking like my brain is Scattered, what could I do from a performance perspective if it were to be focused? Think C Max. And then if you're looking at more anti-anxiety, anti-depression, uh, more mood support, think SLENC. I used to have an easier way to remember those two because I always get them confused. What does what?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I only remember because I personally have used the C Max. I have that in my refrigerator and I love that. And so on the days that I really need to be on, like a day that you and I are maybe we're gonna record all day or something, you know, like I need to be on my game. I will do the C Max, and I can tell you that it helps me keep on task a little bit better. Do I have a form of ADD? I don't know, but I can tell you that sometimes I definitely have a little bit of a squirrel brain, but I also have 50 million things on my plate at any given time. So I don't know if it's an ADD.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Um, put in some some C Max into your regimen. I cut it down to 10 tabs.

SPEAKER_00

It's really, it does work really well.

Thymosin Alpha-1 Immune Reset

SPEAKER_00

All right. The next one we have is one of your favorites. I love this one too. This is Thomasin Alpha 1, or or sometimes referred to as TA1. This is also in an injectable. This one is an immune modulator. This is going to support the T cell function and it's going to help regulate an overactor, overactive immune. Let me say that 10 times fast. Overactive remot overactive immune response. There we go. Um, and it's a game changer for those clients that might have autoimmune conditions, but we want to think of this not only in autoimmune conditions, but underactive immune systems. So somebody that is constantly getting sick. I know that people that can that are hearing this can relate to somebody who's always sick again. You were just sick last month, or they take a long time to recover when they do get sick. Um, this is also something that would be done maybe twice a year for somebody that is a healthy individual, you might consider it doing it just before cold and flu season, maybe around the holidays, and then again, maybe six months later, doing a round and supporting that immune system. So TA1 to support an overactive or underactive immune system.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if you remember on one of our trainings at the conference with Dr. Jason, which I keep meaning to send you this, but he's been he's scheduled to speak at one of those peptide world summits or whatever. Yeah. And I can't unsee what I've seen. I know when I see his professional picture come through, and it's like, oh my gosh, there's another one. Forever change. That's he did say in one of his presentations that he does this twice a year. He does one round of it twice a year, and I believe it's eight weeks each round. Yeah. But that's just to keep his immune system up, and he has all of his patients do it. Yeah. Yeah, that's a great one.

MOTS-C For Mitochondrial Repair

SPEAKER_02

MOT C is an injection. MOT C, like I said earlier, I combine it with NAD for that cellular mitochondrial healing, that energy production at the cellular level. This is a mitochondria-derived peptide that enhances metabolic flexibility, insulin sensitivity, and physical endurance, often called a mitochondrial hormone. When you heal the mitochondria, you get the mitochondria running efficiently. What they do is they take food and convert it into energy in the form of ATP. When you have that going at the cellular level, the benefits are limitless.

SPEAKER_00

I've done spot C. That's another one that I've done before because I wanted that energy component. Uh, a little bit of a tough turnover with the mitochondria in the beginning, and then it was a lovely addition. So those that need that support, just stick with it if it's not great in the beginning. But if you're looking for energy, we talked about it earlier, combining it potentially with the NAD plus. Um, those two together, if you really want to pick up on your energy. So this is going to support the structure, the mitochondria inside the cell, um, and the NAD, that you're gonna get that in as an instant pickup. The mit the MOTC is gonna be a little bit longer because it's a more of a structural change.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Okay, Clow, we've kind of referenced to a couple different times here, but you're thinking the Clow is the power pack of four BPC157, TB500, KPV, and GHKCU. It is the next one on my list. Then let's go into the sexual health or do you want to do dihexa real quick?

SPEAKER_00

Let's do hype dihexa really, yeah. We're gonna do that one really quick. This one is a capsule. Um, it was originally developed for age-related cognitive support. Um, it's a peptide that's usually studied for the potential strength for memory pathways to improve learning capacity, to help promote healthy neural growth, and support long-term brain vitality. So, those that are looking to stay sharp, learn faster, and protect their mental edge with age, this one might be one you are going to consider. So, memory power, cognitive protection, brain repair. Um, think about protection from our Alzheimer's and dementia people as well.

SPEAKER_02

Lovely, lovely. PT141, the thrill pill, and elate. Go back and reference those previous episodes. We'll just leave it at that.

Skin Serum And Melanotan 2

SPEAKER_02

Skincare. We have a new episode coming out about this one specifically because we're sitting down at our conference host doing these live podcast episodes, which were so fun. Um, live in person, I should say. We do them in person because they haven't been published yet at this moment. They were like, Why have you guys not talked about the skin? And we're like, because we don't know anything about the skin one. So they sat down and educated us on the skin. If you are interested in upgrading your skin regimen, this is a requirement. Now, like my whole I didn't even know extensions were that popular, I don't have a skin routine. So I'm gonna start one in the near future, and this is gonna be the only thing I do for my skin routine. Maybe some tallow at some point, but I think this one's pretty dang good.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Based upon what we learned. So this is a topical rejuvenating serum, advanced topical serum supporting skin healing, reducing sides of aging, promoting a healthy radiant complexion.

SPEAKER_00

And for all of us postpartum mamas, we could rub that on our stretch marks, on our uh, if you have what is it called, C-section scars, like that is something the skin for aging women underneath the chin, where we get a little bit of that turkey chin underneath the arms, you can put it underneath there where there's a not listen, if you have like me, if you have a lot of extra under the skin, this is not going to like suck that all up. But if you have a little bit of like wrinkly skin under the arm, that will support that. Because what we learned, because we've never you and I, neither one of us have really looked at this. This has GHKCU inside of it, and this is a way that that can be absorbed through the skin. So to help with the structure support with the collagen, this is a topical, and we can actually the molecules are small enough that we can actually absorb that through the skin. So love that for the skin anywhere on the body that you want a little support.

SPEAKER_02

Your at-home spa session could be clo and elevate skin plus.

SPEAKER_00

It's a perfect combination, if you ask me. All right, the last new peptide that we have is melanotan 2. That is an injectable peptide. It is a synthetic melanocortin peptide. It was researched for its role in pigmentation pathways. It activates the melanocortin receptors through the body, and it's been studied for pathways involving in arousal, in appetite regulation, and energy balance. It also will maybe support the inflammatory signaling and a broader neuroendocrine function. So originally it was um it was meant just for pigmentation purposes, but they found these other things.
