Debbie Isitt
Debbie Isitt is a BAFTA and EMMY award winning writer and director of film, television and theatre, as well as a brilliant composer and definitely the queen of festive films!
She's best known for her award-winning Christmas comedy films, the Nativity! series. She’s written and directed four in that series to date.
She also wrote, directed and composed the music for a stage musical based on the first Nativity! film and has created and directed the musical I Should Be So Lucky. That's based around the songs of Stock Aitken Waterman. She has also written and directed the musical, Military Wives, based on the 2019 film.
Her other works include the BAFTA award-winning television adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s book The illustrated Mum, the stage play The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband and the feature films Confetti, and Nasty Neighbours.
