🔥 Not all fear is the same — one drives you away from God, the other draws you closer.
In this message from April 12, 2026, we break down the difference between the spirit of fear and the fear of the Lord. Using 2 Timothy 1:7, Psalm 111:10, and Isaiah 11:1–3, this sermon brings clarity to what kind of fear we are called to reject—and what kind we are called to embrace.
In this sermon, we talk about:
•What the spirit of fear is and how it works to hinder our faith
•What it truly means to walk in the fear of the Lord
•Why the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
•How one type of fear leads to bondage while the other leads to life and understanding
This message challenges us to let go of fear that paralyzes and step into a reverent fear that produces wisdom, obedience, and a deeper relationship with God.

We'll pray before we get started here. Father, I just want to thank you for this beautiful morning, Father. I just want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to be this vessel up here, so that your words may come through me, Father. And that my flesh has been crucified, and that you, Holy Spirit, are taking over. You're taking over my mind. You're taking over my heart. You're taking over my tongue this morning. And it is your words that are going to flow out of me, Father. And I just want to thank you for that. Thank you for giving for just allowing me to do that for you, Father. And I'm excited this morning that you allow me to do this. That it's something that I got to learn and uh that I get to I get to pass on to the church and the congregation. And it's just amazing. I get to pass it on even further because it comes from a question that one of my children asked me. And then I've not got to explain it to him yet because I had to understand it too. And I just want to thank you for giving me the understanding, Father. And so today I just pray that there is, I pray for the spirit of confusion be gone in your mighty blood, Jesus. And that your guidance and your understanding and your reassurance, and that your understanding is brought in here, Father, and is bind with your mighty blood, Yeshua. That everybody understands the words that you have this morning, Father. And that when they understand it, that if they are felt led to be moved, that they moved this morning, to not be held down by these chains from the enemy. Because you are the mighty chainbreaker, Father. So we ask for the chains to be broken this morning when they when they hear these words, Father, that they step from because what you're bringing this morning is something that needs to be driven home hard. Because you showed me that this morning. That there is someone in here this morning, or there's someone online that needs to hear this because it's something that needs to be said, Father. So I just want to thank you for that, for giving me this opportunity. Father, now I just want to thank you for the praise team up here. Uh what beautiful sounds they brought this morning to invite you in, Father, to for the Holy Spirit to be moving around here to get us stirred up, ready for you, Father. Just want to thank you for the tech team to get the microphone working again, Father, and getting it up and going. Just want to thank you for that. I want to thank you for everybody up at Venus this morning, be with Frank as he is bringing the word that you have laid on his heart, the praise team up there that has just stirred things up in there, and let the Holy Spirit move up there, be with that congregation up there, that they are not bound by chains, but are freed this morning as they hear your words up there, Father. That they be set free and not be a slave to sin anymore or to the enemy. So I just want to thank you for that, Father. Thank you for all your many blessings and your love and your grace and your mercy that you poured down on us each and every day, each and every moment. It's in your precious and holy name, Yeshua, we say, Amen. Alright, so in the prayer, this um told him don't put anything up yet this morning because there was some uh uh what the Lord laid on my heart, it must be, I can just say it's he wants to really drive this home for somebody in here. Um it's understanding for me already, because like I said, uh I had one of my children ask me a question that I've always pondered. Um, and just because it's never it was almost like a confusion understanding type of thing. And I'm gonna like, I'm like, yeah, you know what? I need to um do some uh let me do some research on that. I because I I want some more understanding. I had a little bit of understanding, but I wanted a more in-depth and understanding, and like uh Pastor Frank says that he is the preacher, I'm the teacher, so I gotta go get all this information and then um and then and then and just spew it up to y'all because that's uh I guess that's one thing that I I know that's what the Lord's laid on my heart because every person, everywhere I went, had to work and everything, I've always had to train someone, so I've always had to teach someone. So I guess that kind of just where I had to learn this, so I get to teach y'all this morning, and I get excited because if I if I quit being excited when I had to come up here and teach y'all something new, there's something wrong with me, and I need to I need some prayer over that. But uh I was excited this morning, I was excited last night because I really didn't get going on this until like 11 o'clock last night. We were uh it was just a busy week for me, and I'm gonna lie, I'm gonna lie, uh Lord, I'm gonna have to put a lot of obedience in you, and I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm trying to figure out when I could do this, and I was doing some research, but never put anything down to paper until last night at around 11 o'clock, uh, because uh we did some stuff at the house and uh we go to my mother-in-law's and my sister-in-law's and helped them, and then we didn't get home till late. And I'm like, no, I'm sit down, I'm ready, uh clear mind, and uh we're gonna go from this. And then this morning, when Luke had to do the encouraging word, it lined up with what I have to say this morning. And I'm like, Lord, you are good all the time. And I'm like, and and what he was just going through, and I'm gonna lie, all right, he just gave the outline. So if it so if you wrote that down, you're you you you've kind of got the light line, but I'm gonna go a little bit deeper because I'm gonna be the teacher here, so I'm gonna go a little bit deeper into this, and we're gonna deep dive a little bit more into this. But I'm gonna like, well, if Luke spoke it once, and I'm gonna speak it again, so that means the Lord's really trying to drive it home for somebody. So I'm gonna lie. So some of the things you're gonna hear, you're gonna hear them again, but then there's some things I'm gonna go a little deeper into, do a little bit more explaining on or whatever. So uh so there's a full understanding, because like I said, I'm gonna break it down because I can still explain to uh for I want to explain to all of my children so they're they so they all have understanding, and then and so I have so I have a better understanding of this too. And then like I said, I did not know when I started doing all this, I did not know this, so but now I know. So uh so just thank you, Lord. So you can go ahead and put it up there, please. And he uh oh, he's taking pictures. All right, so uh sorry. Uh but that's fine. Uh some time. So uh if y'all weren't able to make it on Friday night, what a blessing that was with uh Kyle Thomas come here. Um and as my uh as my wife said it, that it just uh kind of explained it almost like a Jesus jukebox is kind of what it was up here. Uh what a blessing. Uh what a um what what the Lord has done in his life and his um in his family's life, what an amazing thing. And then and then the praise team got to come up here and they got to practice their songs for today. Uh what a blessing that was, and then hear his his testimony um and hear about his their ministry and what's going on there. Uh very uh very powerful. Uh what a huge blessing that was. And he was uh very, very energetic, very exciting person. Um and uh just but what a blessing that was uh to hear him on Friday night. So all right, we're ready to go. All right, understanding the fears. So um, understanding the fears. So when I tried to understand this and I was as a kid trying to figure this out, like it said, uh we do not have a spirit of fear. The Lord did not give us a spirit of fear. But then, this is where child he uh questioned me, he said, but Lord, he said, but Daddy said, but we're supposed to fear the Lord. He said, He said, I don't understand that. And I'm gonna like, and I was trying to explain, like I said, I knew a little bit of understanding, so then I'm gonna like, well, you know what? Let me do some research, and then I'll get back to you on that because I want to know a little bit more understanding on that too. And so now I found out that there's two types of fears. Did not know that. But y'all will, I know it now, and y'all will know it this morning when we get going. So we're gonna start off like it is Lucas, 2 Timothy 1.7. For God did not give us a spirit of timid, timidity, cowardice, or fear, but he has given us a spirit of power, of love, sound judgment, and personal discipline. Abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control? Well, we'll start off with what is the actual definition of fear? Fear is an intense, unpleasant emotion triggered by perception of danger, pain, or threat, whether real or imagined. So, how many times as Christians that most uh bunch thing is that we our mind attempts us to imagine a bunch of things, or we try to go, we're led that the Lord's telling us to go somewhere, and then our mind starts bringing these things into our mind, and we start imagining things, or what is this person gonna do, or or how is this going to turn out, or anything like this, and we and we go off of this emotion of fear and not putting the whole truth or the whole faith into the Lord. So, or the real fear, like is having the real fear of coming up here and having to speak in front of people. A lot of people have that type of fear of public speaking and that that type of fear, and not walking up in here and just understanding and and knowing that the Lord has already paved the way for you. So, and allowing the Holy Spirit to take over you and allow him to uh allow you to speak the words of Him. So go into a timidity, uh a fearfulness, shyness, or a lack of self-confidence. So have that lack of self-confidence, have that that shyness, that fearfulness that come up here, and that, you know, I'm shy, or you just have that lack of self-confidence. But when you are in the Lord, he gives you, he should give you all the confidence that you need. Because he already gives you everything. He takes that shyness away and gives you that power that you need. Makes you from not being shy to be the most outspoken person in the room. Gives you that that self-confidence, that that you that, hey, I don't know if I can do this. To oh, I can do this, and I'm gonna do it even better because the Lord's with me. Type of confidence. To be cowardice. To be to cower down, to uh to have something over you that is a weight that you cannot overcome. But the Lord says, give him all your cares, all your burdens, give me all that, I can handle it. Do not be scared, do not be a cowardice, stand up. Because of these things, the Holy Spirit equips you with these with things to combat this fearfulness, this timidity, this cowardice. The Holy Spirit equips you with this thing to help you get beyond this. So I've been dabbling a little bit now. Now it's the Holy Spirit's turn on how he equips you with these things. So, like I said, some of this is going to be just like Lucas said, I'm gonna dig a little bit in there. But the first one is love. And this is a sacrificial love, the agape love. So, oh yeah, come back in here. You're gonna hear a little bit what you said this morning. So the agape love is a molded by Jesus Christ who laid down his life for us. That's that agape love that is going to get poured into you through the Holy Spirit to chase this spirit of fear out of you. This this love that you're ready to lay down for the Lord. For anybody you need to do that, is this love, this all-powerful love that sometimes it's kind of even hard to understand. But it's this love that's a that sacrificial love. And then this is the power that he gives you. So there's the spirit of power, which is the bravery, the strength, and the ability to face challenges. So as he gives you this power to step up here if you need to do public speaking, or he gives you the power that, hey, I need you to go pray for that person. So you walk up to that person and you pray for them. That you you ask for that power to come into you, that Holy Spirit to come into you. It's the same power that David had when he faced Goliath. That same power there. Because he did not have that spirit of fear, because he knew what was living in him and who he was fighting for. He was fighting for the God of heaven and earth. He said, I've already known what he's done for me, I know what he can do, and he's given me this power. And then the same power was in Jesus to go to the cross. That same power to just step up there to be crucified for us, to take all that punishment for us. That same power is the same power that lived in Jesus, the same power that was in David, the same power that is in you or can be in you, if it's not in you today, that can be in you. And so when you're doing this, when you're going through all this stuff, and you have the Holy Spirit and everything like this, the other thing, you need to have scripture written on your heart. And one of the scriptures that it's not up here, but this is one of the scriptures that whenever you go to face fear or anything, and there's there's a bunch of them, but this is the one the Lord laid on my heart, this is the one I use, and it is Joshua 1 9. It says, Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous, do not be terrified or dismayed. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. So when you step in to something, when the Lord calls you to do something, and that spirit fear wants to come in, then you combat it with that right there. You combat it with the sword of the spirit, with the armor. And you put your armor on. That's the sword of the spirit. That's that scripture written on your heart that you say that no, it says Joshua 1.9, he's commanded me to be strong and courageous because he is there with me wherever I go. He's giving me the power, the strength that I need. And he's giving me that love. That love for that person that is lost that needs to hear you, Jesus. That you're putting me in this path now that I can be there for them. I don't know what they're going through, but I can be there for them, and I don't want to have this spirit of fear on me. And the next will go into the sound judgment. So a sound mind, a discipline, self-control. So the self-control, this is where it goes into that. A understanding when you do things, when you have a sound mind, when you are disciplined, you are not doing it through emotions. And what is a what is fear? Fear is an emotion. And the truth is Jesus Christ. It's the Bible. That is the truth. That's what you act off of. You do not act off of this emotion. Do not act off the emotion of fear. Do not have that spirit of fear on you. Because the Holy Spirit has equipped you with this love, this power, and this sound mind and judgment, this self-control. Then I know that if I know it's an emotion, then it's not true. I need to sit back, I need to pray, and I need to ask for the truth to come upon me so that I get the understanding so that I can move forward in the direction that the Lord has set the path. Alright, now, that's 2 Timothy, the spirit of fear. So now we're gonna deepen in, we're gonna dive into the other fear. So, the fear of God. So fear of God. So we're gonna go to uh Psalms 111. So there's a lot of that in Psalms. I have learned that too. So um, so Psalms 11, 10 was uh I just enjoyed that one a lot more. So the reverent fear of the Lord is the beginning, the pre-requisite, the absolute essential, the alphabet of wisdom. A good understanding and a teachable heart are possessed by all those who do the will of the Lord. His praise endures forever. So I just I just like how that that because it just lines up with the way he was laying on me. Because there was a lot of them. There was, I think there was Psalms uh um 9, 10, which is almost like mirrored this one. But this one just went a little, just had that uh the worded was a little bit different. I just liked the way he explained it and because goes into because it is when you go to fear God, it's so it's the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. So and then so when you think about it, is the absolute essential of the alphabet. So the alphabet is one of the first things you have to learn as a kid, correct? So I thought I'm like, oh, that's perfect. Very teachable moment. All right, as kids, we've had to learn our A, B, C's, so then we can start understanding everything else that's built from that. So this is the same way as you when you go to fear the Lord, this is the A-Bs of fearing the Lord. This this is the first step of having to take to understanding of fearing the Lord. So, what does reverent mean? I've seen reverent in there because I was reading in mind, there's a bunch of them where it starts the reverent fear of the Lord. So, reverent is a deep respect, admiration, or solemn uh dedication towards someone or something. So, this is a deep respect for God. A this admiration, soul uh dedication to him. This uh this awe for God. This uh so awe is a whole respect for God's greatness, majesty, and perfection as the creator and judge, a deep respect for God's holiness, power, and authority rather than being terrified of him. So it's not the fear of being terrified of him because of all of his great power and all that he can do, but it's the fear of him, of the respect that he of all the power that he has, of all the perfection, of all that he has created, all how he judges us, how he always is there for us, is that deep respect. That is that fear. So you're probably all wondering, well, what is this other fear that I'm talking about? Because I'm like, yeah, because I was saying that I'm like, why is this because to me it seems like the same fear, that's why we've always talked about the same fear, but so this other fear, so it comes from um uh so the Hebrew word for this is uh Yara, Y-I-R-A-H, Yara, Hebrew meaning, which is a dual meaning. It's either dread or fear, and a profound reverence or awe. So it's a dual meaning right there. It's the same fear, just different depending on how it goes into it. So then we go into the there's uh go into there's so kind of breaks down to there's two different types of fear too on the in the Latin. So Latin is for the one spirit of fear, which is a uh is uh severless. Serviless, serverless, which means slave to fear. Or slave to sin. And that's what we're always about. If you're under the fear, you're under the slave of sin, and I I can't stand being under slave. I can't stand when someone has control over me like that. The Lord gave us the free will, but Satan wants to control us. And so I can't stand that. And especially when He he wants to control my family, we should control my children, then I start. Getting that hatred that was given into me because he hates sin. I hate him for doing that. And so I don't want to be that slave to fear or that sleigh to sin because I don't want to fear him because God's given us the power and the authority to defeat him. His name, Jesus' name, is the name that strikes fear into him. So we're reversing that fear around. Giving it back to him. A big spoonful of it. So and go back to it. This the the God, the God name, because God has gone through the God names and all this, and this is another God name that I that that has all this. It says, so I said Yarah, the uh was Hebrew for the dual meaning of the fear. So God has this name right here. Is it Yarat Adonai, which is fear of the Lord. So that is his name. So Yarat Adonai, the fear of the Lord, that awe, that disrespect, that reverence that he has. So now we'll go into the fear. I've been talking about this good fear. So it's the phila fear. So it's Latin too. Phila fear. So which means, all right, so the Latin word, so it's phila fear, but then uh it's derived from the actual Latin word is philosoph, which means son. Well, okay, I'm trying to figure out. I wasn't expecting that when I was doing it. Why does phylus for sun? I'm trying to understand this. And then dig a little more in there. So it implies, it's the word gets good too, because that's it. I understand, I understand now, and I understand what all this is making sense and how he um he brought me this and too. And when he brought me this, I forgot to say this, when he brought me this question, he brought me this question two or three weeks ago. Because I've had because we've had to do, I was up there uh at the Easter service and had uh had uh brought the word up there, and and then and then and so he'd already given me this, and I didn't get a chance, like I said, I didn't get a chance to work on it until now, but he'd already given me this way two or three weeks ago. And like Luke and I, we didn't talk, we didn't discuss anything about what I was gonna say today or what he was gonna say today. That's just how good God is. That far out, and then the way he just maneuvers and goes in through here. So it implies a child-parent relationship. We are the child, and God is the parent, the father. So it's a love-based fear, a holy fear of harming a relationship. So that's all God wants. He wants to have a relationship. We are his children. Just like as if you uh if you're blessed with children, you have children, you have grandchildren, and how the same thing, that real that same relationship you're hoping that you have with your children. And to have that same fear, that they have the same fear for you. We have this, we should have the same fear for our father. So you have that severelus fear and the fila fear. What are you talking about? Uh the harming of the relationship. So you don't want to go into it of messing the relationship up with God. You're scared up because it's it's a relationship that you're wanting. It's a relationship that he wants. It's that deep love that he wants for you, and the same deep love that you should have for him. And it's a fear of messing this relationship up. And it can be the same, and it should be the same fear too, that the same fear as if you're doing it with your husband and wife. Fear. You don't want to mess up the relationship between your husband and wife, between your spouse. But have that fear, that that that that fear of the love, that fear of the deep respect that you should have for your spouse. And in the same way that hopefully your children have the deep respect for you as you're learning and guiding them, the same way that the Lord wants to teach you and guide you. You have to have that open heart so you will learn from him, to have that obedience, to have that same love that he wants for you. So as you're doing this, as you're like I said, as you're building this up and you're doing this, like I said, it should be one of the very first things as you're doing is you have this fear for the Lord, you're you're you're trying to build this relationship up with him, and that when you are doing this, um, that it builds up the wisdom. This knowledge and wisdom through him. So fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. So this things that he wants to give you. So as your child, as you're a new believer, he wants to give you this knowledge and wisdom so you don't stumble. So you do not fall. But knowing as a parent with children, you tell your children, don't do that, and they still do it. You watch them stumble, you watch them fall, you watch them get burnt. Even though you told them, hey, that's hot. It's going to hurt really bad. Hey, do not do not run right there. You will fall and hurt yourself. Same thing with the Lord. Gives you the instructions right here in this Bible. He tells you, hey, that's hot. Don't touch it. Hey, don't go into that room. It's dark in there. Don't run that way. You will trip and fall down a deep dark valley. Because that's where we get that fear in us. That same fear, thank you, Lord, right here, this is the same fear that entered whenever the fall happened with Adam and Eve in the garden. That same fear when they hid from God. That same fear that they did, because they did not have that sound mind, because they did not know that they're the ones that changed. But God didn't. And they knew God, they thought God was changing. They thought he was going to be the spirit of fear of the punishment of what they did. But God still had that awe, that reverence, that agape love for them. That agape love that took them from them fig leaves and clothed them for the first sacrifice. So that aligns with the promoting of a life of a divine commandment that leads to obedience. So when you start doing this, this uh the wisdom and this obedience, and you start lining yourself up, when you start fearing God, you start becoming more obedient to him. And it's but you do it through his commandments. So we had the we had the the first ten through Moses. And that was the thing, too. I was reading or whatever going on. There's a little side note here, too. That uh the commandment, so from Adam to Moses, there was no law. So he just sinned without law. They knew, I mean, knew some bad things that you shouldn't be killing, this and that, there, but there was no law until Moses. And Moses, and then the Lord brought gave him the Ten Commandments. And then that's when the laws came in. That's when the commandments came in, and then now from them they have over 600 something laws now. Oh, you gotta want to fall or whatever. So God said here's the ten. But now, but now gave it, God gave us these two commandments to follow. That love God with all your heart, mind, and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself. I was had to tell my son that either this morning or last night. I said, you need to love your neighbor as yourself, your brother as your neighbor. Love him as yourself. So so so well, I so you gotta understand. He said, All right, yeah, yes. I I alright, I understand. I have to love him. I said, Yeah, as yourself, son. So he needs to work on that a lot. So moving into the next is the uh the awareness of presence. So a constant conscious awareness that I am in, I had to change this because I want you to write that, I want you to write that down too, because I had to write it down that I am in a presence of the holy God, which influences my actions, thoughts, and motives. So that's the other thing, too, is that when fear wants to try to enter in, think of what whose presence you're in, that you're always in, because God is always there. So you're always in his presence. So do not react on the emotion, but react on the facts. Do not shoot from the hip, but just take a step back and reevaluate. And let that influence your actions. When something happens at work and someone, either an employee or a your boss or something, pipes off to you, take a step back and let your actions change. And then watch your actions for the good, change you and the person that you're having the interaction with. Or the actions, or if you had to deal with your children, like I said, this is a son and parent relationship, a child and father relationship, or a child and mother relationship on our actions. Children feed off your actions. So if they do something, take a step back, don't shoot from the hip. Re-evaluate. And like the Lord said, like Frank said later on, think of a beyond thinking, a kingdom-minded thinking. In your thoughts, take every thought captive. It says in the Bible. Take every thought captive, give it to the Lord. Do not let your thoughts, don't let your mind, like I said, the imagined fear, do not let them thoughts build something in there that's not even there yet. That's not even there. And then your motives. I want to get back at that person because of what they did. Or of motives of like of thinking of, all right, they have it better than me. What are they doing that I'm not doing? Why are the Lord blessing them, not blessing me, type of motives? But to sit back and just count of all the blessings that the Lord has already given you. And you don't even know all the things that they're having to deal with. You just see just glimpses of their life, but not, you just only see this one second of their life, but not the whole picture. You see your whole picture, and they may see a glimpse of your life, and they wish that they had your life. So depending on how you do your motives and how you do your thoughts and your actions, everybody's watching to see how that you're doing. And so whenever you start doing that, then they start seeing what Jesus has done in your life. Then move into the separation from evil. So fearing God means I hate evil, I hate pride, and I hate arrogance. So when you go in here, that's what you need to, that's what you need to say. That's why I put I there because it's for me. That I hate evil because I don't want evil over me. I don't want evil over my family. I don't want evil over my children. I don't want evil over this church. Does not belong. I sat back there and prayed. I prayed Zechariah 2.5, that the wall of fire is brought down just like Elijah, and the glory of God has filled this place. That we step in the gap and that the devil knows that he cannot come in here because of the wall of fire is put in here, because we he is protected through him. And that it's his glory that's going to glorify today in each and every day. So it's that evil that I hate. Can't stand it. Tired of it being so controlling. Control my life. That I do not want. Because it's if it controls my life and then it messes with my family, it messes with my friends, messes with anybody that I interact with. And they don't need that. They don't deserve that. I don't want the pride. I want pride in myself. Surrender myself to you, Jesus. Pride is a small thing that we make big that wants to sink ships. And I don't like that. And then that arrogance. And I and I'm just like Frank and I pray. I pray for this. I don't want to have that spiritual arrogance, this arrogance set up here that is, it is all me and not the Lord. No, it's not. It is all Lord and not me. I want it to be that every single time. When I come up here, I don't want my thoughts to be taken over. I want his thoughts to be taken over. I don't want to have that arrogance on me. I don't want that. If I get that, I want to step down here. That just makes me sad. I will not, I do not want the devil, he will not, because the Lord has me. And he will not allow that to happen. So we are as a preservative, like salt that keeps believers like myself and others around me from turning away from God. So when we're having this fear of God and we are doing all these things, we are got the wisdom and knowledge that He gives us. This obedience of the commandments. This all presence, this presence around us, of who is around us is God. So knowing that He is always around us and remembering that. And the separation of the evil to always be in good, always be in His path, always to be in His light, always be in His love, to be in His bosom all the time. And so, as believers, that we are supposed to preserve that assault. So when we are doing that, when people are looking, when people are seeing this as we do this, they see that we have the fear of God, and we can tell them the fear of the God. And now you can tell them that there is two different types of fears. There's this one fear, this spirit of fear that wants to control you, wants to have every, wants to take you down, wants to separate you from God, wants to control you. And then you have this spirit or this fear of the love, the spirit of a relationship with God. And this understanding of his reverence and his awe that he is. And this love that he pours out, this agape love that he pours out to you for understanding. So we're gonna finish up with Isaiah 11, 1 through 3. I like me some Isaiah. Isaiah 11, 1 through 3. Lindsay, you may want to bring them in here. Alright. Then a shoot, the Messiah, will spring from the stalk of Jess, Jesse, David's father, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit, and the spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge of the reverent and obedient fear of the Lord, and it will delight in the fear of the Lord, and he will not judge by what his eyes see, nor make decisions by his ears here. So reading all this, and it's just describes a bunch of everything that we've already gone over. The strength that he gives us, the spirit, the wisdom and understanding, the strength and the knowledge. But the one thing that caught me right here, one thing that caught me right here, which is good, because it says right here, it says, the spirit of knowledge and the reverent and obedient fear of the Lord, and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. And so that's what got me going like. So this is this is we're talking about Jesus. This is the Messiah. This is what we just said. This is a Jesus. And so this is this is a prophecy way. This is before he comes. This is a prophecy before Jesus has come. But this is when Jesus come. And when Jesus came down here, and as he was man, that he had fear of God. He had the fear for his father when he was down here. That same fear, that fear of God that he wants us to have. His own son, when he was down here, had that fear for his father. So what I always said is always as a thing when I always try to tell my employees and tell everybody, I even tell my boys too. And uh the best thing whenever you're teaching someone is that you lead by example. And what better example that when he came down to lead? Like I said, you don't go off emotion, but you're going off the trust. You're going off the truth. And rather it just shows you the truth that. The Lord Himself, God Himself, sent His Son, and His own Son had fear for His Father. Still had that all deep respect for His Father for being down here. And being that obedient and having that knowledge and wisdom and being the obedience to come up to the cross to be crucified. Have that same fear of the hatred of evil. Casting out demons. Going to the temple and flipping over them tables because they just created the house of the Lord. That was evil right there. Have that hatred. Best example. That's what he showed.
