SPEAKER_09

I'm Lauren and I'm Emily. And we're Midwest besties.

SPEAKER_08

Hello, everybody. Welcome. Welcome. We are gonna do a flyover deep dive on, you guessed it, Summer House. Another summer!

SPEAKER_09

Part two of the three-part reunion saga. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

How more aubre can this get? Probably a little bit more.

SPEAKER_02

You cannot be a good friend and treat the women that give themselves to you like they're expendable.

SPEAKER_07

I felt embarrassing. I mean, yeah, it's embarrassing.

SPEAKER_04

Have you been faithful to her? Yes.

SPEAKER_07

No.

SPEAKER_04

I wanted Amanda to know I had her back. You are the most immature, fraudulent phony I've ever met. I think I need to take a break.

SPEAKER_08

You should go after your girl. So Emily and I both watched the Peacock version, which was extended, a little bit extended. So I don't know what was added.

SPEAKER_09

No, that's really that's really important for our listeners who are watching it on Bravo. Congratulations for being able to watch it a day earlier. I know. Um, but no, we are Peacock girlies.

SPEAKER_08

We are this is not a Peacock podcast, but uh initial thoughts of Okay, so I have to say I am feeling I am starting to feel the fatigue of just like I think it's really clear that Amanda and West are just like they're just bad people.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And it's just not even entertaining to watch now. And so I'm just feeling like I just don't want them on my screen anymore. I knew this was gonna happen.

SPEAKER_09

Like, yeah, and that's why I keep saying, like, and I I was listening back to our podcast where it's like Tom Sandoval is a better villain. Absolutely, even though West is a worst person, yes, and that's such an important distinction.

SPEAKER_08

And I was texting Kelly about it, and I was just like, even Tom and Raquel did not behave in this manner at the Vanderpump reunion. No, like they were trying to be remorseful, they were trying to be apologetic. I mean, they got raked over the coles as they did deserve, but like this behavior out of Amanda and West is so reprehensible, like so reprehensible. So, like I'm get I'm becoming, I'm tired of it. I just knew they were gonna give us nothing. Yeah. I mean, it's pretty crazy like how yeah, how little they are imparting. I mean Well, one thing she just disappeared. Okay, yeah. So let's pick it up right at the beginning. So this part two picked up right at her walk-off where she so basically she's like saying, I, you know, I was I felt embarrassed. I felt embarrassed to tell Sierra I had feelings for West, and we kissed when he was seeing someone else. And Mia just like the velvet hammer just says, Yeah, well, it was embarrassing. I'll put the clip in.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. I felt embarrassed to have to say I have feelings and have kissed Wes and he's seeing someone else. I felt embarrassed having to say that to Sierra.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, it's embarrassing. I think I need to take a second.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_08

And she walks off. Um, and what we saw was everybody bully West to go and check on her. And he did finally get kind of snippy with Lindsay and was like, Oh, you want me to walk off just so you guys can then talk shit about the fact that like we're both gone. He kind of was right about that.

SPEAKER_09

That was kind of a good point.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, but like I think they were mad. I think it was like, okay, Amanda walked off, and if he would have been like, I'm gonna go check on her, like that's one thing. Like, because they were mad at Amanda for walking off, right? Like, understandably so. Um, but she was gone for a really long time. I think she might have been gone for like over an hour. Yeah, because didn't they break? They took a break and then like they came back from the break and she still didn't come back. The way Lindsay like took control, she is hilarious. She's hilarious. Where she's like, How about we all take a break now? Should we just all take a break? I don't know. And then Andy's like, Okay, let's take a break. Um, and so Wes does go and check on her. And I, if I were Amanda and I were watching this, which I don't think she's probably not watching any of this, but I find it hilarious. Like in that moment, she was probably like, Oh, he came to check on me. That's so like I'm so glad he came to check on me. And then if I watched it back and had to see him get eviscerated in order to do it, I would have been so upset.

SPEAKER_09

I mean, I just think that's Amanda's default. It is crazy how she's still like putting herself in this I'm the victim role. Like, I am I am somehow scorned because these people are mad at me.

SPEAKER_08

I can't help my feelings. I can't help that so I shouldn't be able to pursue something just because of you. Like, very like trying trying to get on like a high horse.

SPEAKER_09

A hundred percent.

SPEAKER_08

And it's like, I don't know what you thought this was gonna be.

SPEAKER_09

So in it, they talk about the Carl's a mess. Oh my god. Uh this was crazy, and obviously, what you know is that like Kyle did a four-part long Man on the Street uh street podcast. Um, and it when talking about how everybody is affected, he said Carl's a mess and it kind of popped off and like there were t-shirts and whatever. And then Lindsay and Carl did a Uber Eats spawn con where he was like crying. He was crying. Yeah. And then Andy asked the question of like, Were you offended that they use that for like to get sponsorship? And she's like, I would have never done it to them if they were in a breakup, which like, babe, this isn't a breakup. Yeah, you're fucking your friend's ex. Correct.

SPEAKER_08

And it was just like, and then Sierra did like immediately clock her, and she was just like, You wouldn't do that, but you would fuck your friend's ex. Like your bar is just like, I don't know where your bar is. And it's it's so true. It's just like the audacity of this woman to sit there and say she would never have done something when she's doing something that she probably said she would never do, if you're following me, like it's just crazy. It's like you don't have a leg to stand on, like you have zero credibility, and she just keeps trying to claw her way up.

SPEAKER_09

Yes. Like Andy took that instead of being like, No, who am I right to do this? Yeah. Like she was like, Yeah, it did really hurt my feelings. Like, she just can't. Lindsay was so mad. That's when Lindsay really did go after Amanda. I think she was shocked.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, I think she was shocked too because it was this idea, and we've talked about this before of like you, Amanda, doing you and Wes doing what you did could gravely affect our bag, which is like one of the worst things you can do. And so they had to cap and that's so much of being a reality star, right? Is like capitalizing on this stuff. Like we saw it with Lala when she did like send it to Daryl and like did all her send it to Daryl merch. And like, I hate Lala, but like that's a good example. And like she made so much money off doing that merch from Scandaval that she was able to buy a house. Yeah. So it's just like you have to take those opportunities when they present themselves. I'm doing the fucking Uber Eats ad while you're going to a Yankees game and like kissing this sweaty man.

SPEAKER_09

This brings up a good point that was brought up, which is Amanda, I thought you didn't like going out. And we have to talk about this in detail. And then she mentions she's like, I didn't hate going out, I hated going out with Kyle. And then Kyle literally like almost breaks down into tears. Was like immediately crying.

SPEAKER_06

No, I said I hated going out with him because he would get so drunk and we'd get in fights.

SPEAKER_04

Give me a break. This kid parties twice as hard as I was. That's not what I've been staring at. Okay, fraudulent phony I've ever met. So shut the f up.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, I did feel bad for Kyle in that in that moment. See. Like that, because he is so emotional, and I just feel like he is, I don't know, like, I did feel like, is that really true? Like, are we like and I just I don't know what's really true about Amanda, and to your point of like she doesn't have a personality, but it's like we just like weren't getting the full story. No, you know, because it's like, well, is she rewriting history here because like she didn't like going out? It it seemingly didn't like going out, period, but now it's no, I like going out, but I just didn't like going out with Kyle.

SPEAKER_09

And that could be like, I don't like going out with Kyle because he gets so trash and everything is a work opportunity, and like, and I just don't fucking like Kyle that much. Like, so much of it, and I think we get that in a little bit of the preview of the next episode of like Kyle kind of holding firm that like it wasn't all bad. Like it wasn't, it wasn't all bad. We did, we did love each other. Um but like also and also I think he just truly cares about her and truly cares about her well-being. I don't think she gives a shit about Kyle. Yes.

SPEAKER_08

So I was gonna say that. Like, I think what we're seeing is Kyle likes her and she doesn't like Kyle.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

And so like he is still like so there for her because if Kyle, if the situation were reversed, I don't think she would be meeting Kyle with this kind of like with the same level of compassion and grace that he's meeting her with. No. I think that she would be like eviscerating him, she would be like going after him and would not be supportive. And I also just think like it's a really convenient thing to say, right? Because it's like, well, no, I do like going out, guys. I actually do. It's just it was Kyle. And so it's like justifying that she's like going out again. And it's also just crazy, too, because she's like, I'm single, I'm single though. And it's like, but were you single? You were single for how many months? Like, first of all, you are still legally married as much as you like don't like that they're pointing that out. That's number one. Number two, like, how long were you actually single?

SPEAKER_09

It's just how long were you? And this is the problem. It's like, if you wanted to flirt and fuck with fuck West, I guess do it. You're kind of a shitty person, but then move on. Yeah. It's like the fact that they're like in a relationship. This is a relationship. Yeah, it might be an open relationship where he has he gets to like fuck around, but she's clearly in a relationship with him. And this kind of goes back to the Kyle of it all, which we really get into what we kind of get a glimpse of an alternate universe of what this reunion would have been like. Right. Which is Kyle being eviscerated for his behavior. I was a little disappointed in Kyle in this episode because and I had an inkling, this is what it was like, where he wants to do these grand gestures of like, I'm sorry, my behavior was abhorrent. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But if someone doesn't immediately accept that apology with Grace and say, No, you're great, and pushes back a little bit, he's instantly will like. Sorry that my I was in a loveless marriage. And it's I don't I don't see a lot of learning in that behavior. And I do see the cast members on that left side, so like the Sierra and the Lindsay and Carl, who was on the right side, um, kind of rewriting history to make Kyle firmly in this scorned man position. And he's just not no, I agree. Yeah, Kyle, like he knew what he needed to do to make Amanda happy. Amanda has never, not to like defend Amanda right now, but like she never wavered on what she wanted, which is like, you can go out. I don't care. Don't get wasted and come home. Yeah. And every opportunity he had to, I don't know, stay home and like actually talk through things and apologize to her. Like he he doesn't understand, like, well, I just wish all the times I got wasted is she was supposed to come with me and she didn't go out. Like, he doesn't even fathom the fact that like maybe you shouldn't have gone out. Right. Like it doesn't cross his mind. Right. It's not clocking to him. It's not clocking to him.

SPEAKER_05

It's not clocking to you. It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?

SPEAKER_09

We find out that Amanda and Kyle have not been they didn't like fully define it.

SPEAKER_08

It was basically like how long of needs not been your needs have not been met in the marriage. And Kyle says the whole time, and Amanda says four years. So we're all sort of left to interpret like, so they just haven't had sex in four years. I just think it's important.

SPEAKER_09

Like none of this is important, none of this, but it's important to know like what that means. Like you guys have sex four because I think Kyle is like they have sex four times a year, so that's like needs not being a yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Because when you say needs not being met is that is up for interpretation. That is very subjective. So it's like I wish I don't need to know the ins and outs of their like sexual relationship, but like it maybe nailing down, getting into some specific because it has been like it was a conversation on Summer House of like, oh, how long has it been since they've had sex?

SPEAKER_09

And it was like years, yeah. And that is Kyle was like, we don't that come that goes from, and I texted this to Lauren, that goes from like having intimacy issues to this is a sham relationship, yeah. It's crazy. Like if you have no intimacy at all, that isn't a marriage. No, that is a partnership.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, I think it's a means to an end for her because I just don't think she knows how to be a person. And so for her, it was just like I'm kind of getting most things taken care of for me, even though my emotional needs aren't being met. So she just like put up with it for the longest time. It and Kyle, I think, was very resentful because he was probably like, I do everything, like I handle everything, and you're just kind of here, like you're not a partner to me. Yeah. I think what's hard is that Kyle is valid for the way that he feels, but his actions invalidate his position. Exactly. And I think that's what's tough because like I and like look, I've been, we've both been married a really long time, and like we both know it's like there this there is no marriage is very much a two-way street, long-term relationships are a two-way street. Like, there is both people are playing parts in this, and I think for the longest time it was like Amanda was this perfect victim, and she and it really was all Kyle. And so I think now that like we are seeing her character, yeah, it does make us look back at things and like have a different lens for better or worse, right? But like I also think like audiences love a perfect victim, and so it's like now people are going back and they're like, Oh, well, Kyle was justified for calling her a dumb fucking bitch. No, no, he wasn't, you guys. No, he really wasn't. Like, that's not okay.

SPEAKER_09

It was really funny. So the only time West decided to clock in was bringing up when she got and he was like, Gifts like that are never a good sign you brought up Wolf of Wall Street. That was one thing so fucking correct. Like so funny and spot on. Yeah. And like he even said, and he's doing a very good job of like faking remorse. I think like being the remorseful character. I mean, not a good job, but at least he's not like rolling his eyes all the time.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, he's just he's taking it.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, yes. Um, but he was like, I you know, I shouldn't have said that. I was pretty keyed up. Yeah. Booger sugar. Um and he was like, you know, I shouldn't have made that reference because it made it seem like you were banging hookers. Obviously, that was that was like not what I was trying to intent, but right. You did give her a Cartier watch and then the next night call her a dumb fucking bitch.

SPEAKER_08

Yes, yeah. And like that's not like let's not kind of like diverge from the fact that that's what exactly what happened.

SPEAKER_09

And then when Kyle was like, yeah, that was really embarrassing for me, he was like, Well, she and you, and like, and finally Wes had to be like, Kyle, it is not my fault you called your wife a dumb fucking bitch.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, that was about the only time Wes Wilson was right. He could have been literally his cardboard cutout. Yeah, and then he went back to being catatonic. Yeah. With Amanda. With his purse slips. We do have to talk about Dara.

SPEAKER_09

She fucking if anyone was um You want to talk about somebody who clocked in she had one of the lines of the summer, which was West's a great guy unless you're falling in love with him.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, we talked about that extensively.

SPEAKER_09

And there has been a lot of talk about Dara because like who is she? Who is this girl?

SPEAKER_08

I don't know why there's all this like weird hate for Dara.

SPEAKER_09

I just thought like people were mad because like Levi got cut out and then Dara got her own confessional. But it's like, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_08

Dara was always supposed to be, she was in the cast photos, like she was always supposed to be. I feel like the internet narrative is like she weasled her way in. Yeah, totally, and she wanted to be famous. She's like that, that was like the big internet guy. I'm gonna like she was already famous from like social media.

SPEAKER_09

I mean, all I know is that she she worked her place in.

SPEAKER_08

I don't care what her motives are, and also everybody who's going on reality TV wants to be famous.

SPEAKER_09

Hi, and I don't know, like I don't know if I like I think she's like too much of like a cool girl. At least like she was a cool girl, but like as soon as she became KJ's girlfriend, I really liked her.

SPEAKER_08

I did too. So she, but like I said, she clocked the fuck in and she read West like so fucking articulately, so eloquently, so calmly. And then like the producers were like, do it again.

SPEAKER_09

Oh, Amanda's back, do it again.

SPEAKER_08

And she did it again. Better? It was so funny how they were like, Amanda needs to hear this, actually. Actually, can you say what she did? And she said exactly what she said before in a totally different way, that said exactly the same thing, more eloquently, more articulately. I was just like, put her on my screen more.

SPEAKER_09

Who is this? Put her on my screen more. This is Diva. The way if like I did that and said something so insightful and such a great way of describing West. Yes, and then someone was like, repeat that. I'd be like, boop, it might be like, I don't know, I blacked out. I blacked out when I said that. I think I said it so much better last time.

SPEAKER_08

No, it was perfect. She was like, Okay, tell me when. And the best part was when she said to West, like, the women in your life are expendable. And he was like, Yeah, I yeah, I agree with that. Oh what?

SPEAKER_09

He's just a master manipulator.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, because it's like what do you do with that?

SPEAKER_09

What do you what do you where do you go if he's just like, yeah.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, what do you he kind of like cops to it, but like it doesn't really mean anything because like I think exactly what they've been saying, like Sierra and Kyle, like he is so he's a fraud. Like, we do not know who this man is. No, we have no idea who this man is. Page tried to warn us. Paige did try to warn us, but it's like Dara basically was just like, I mean, you should put the clip in.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna be honest, Wes. I don't see you suddenly waking up one day and like, this, this is gonna be the relationship that you stand up for and man up for. Like, you like people to think of you as a good guy, yeah, but you treat the women that give themselves to you like they're expendable.

SPEAKER_04

Any response, Wes? No, I understand that. And I yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_02

The biggest pattern in his life is that it is the West Show. And it will always be the West show. And the biggest concern of his consistently is being well-liked and well-received. And he doesn't prioritize treating the women he is linked to romantically with the same respect as he does anybody else in his life. And I just foresee him for a very long time wanting someone who will mold and fold and fit into his life without excuse or complaint. And it's up to you to decide what's worth sacrificing for that kind of person.

SPEAKER_08

It was just like such a fabulous read. I I was shook.

SPEAKER_09

And then Amanda just like stood there blank-eyed.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, Amanda just stared at her.

SPEAKER_09

And then, and can you like what is going through her head? This is my man. This is my man. No. There was a TikTok, I will try to find it, where it's like, she's she's a lover girl, is what the TikToker had said.

SPEAKER_05

She's a lover girl. She's not one of those like healthy lover girls. No, she's my man, my man, my man. I will burn this entire world to the ground, my man. I will choose my man above my friends, my career, my man, my man, my man, my man. Cause that's what she did for Kyle in the early seasons. She was stick up for Kyle, not her friends. She would disinvite people to her wedding, even though they've even though she's known them for years.

SPEAKER_08

It's just crazy how at what 30, how old is she? 34. It's like you are you don't know who you are. You do not have an identity outside of the men in your life. You have been with a man for. The infantilization. Yes.

SPEAKER_09

Absolutely. Did not help. Because Kyle, I'm pretty sure when it came to like actual adulting, Kyle did it. Did everything between her parents and him.

SPEAKER_08

Which we'll talk about when we talk about in the city. Because it comes through loud and clear. Where I'm just like, bitch, are you for real? Yes. Like, right? Yep. These are not hard things. No. We had a really great moment with Carl and Lindsay. We had another really great moment with Carl and Lindsay. It was so beautiful where Lindsay was like, she was like, Carl, like you, I feel like you're finally in your skin. Like I'm gonna start crying. Like basically saying, like, you have self-actualized. Like you have become the person you were always meant to be. And like it is everybody around you can feel that. I have chills right now. Um, and we see we can see that you're confident, like you're more successful than you've ever been. Like we have seen this season best season yet for Carl. Like top, top of the mountain for Carl.

SPEAKER_09

It was literally, and it like when he said, because I'm like quoting myself from a past podcast, but like, you know, he went from like fuck boy to like Lindsay's boyfriend to like really awkward. I would like I use the word like haunting, like he haunted the house. Haunted. Um, and then just came this summer, this season, completely self-actualized. Like, this is me, this is who I am. Came into himself for sure. Was so charming and fabulous. I love Carl.

SPEAKER_08

Just keep climbing, baby. I love him so much. I'm just really rooting for him to be on season two of In the City. And I think I really think it's gonna happen. I especially because he and Lindsay, it seems like she was she's on his podcast, like as a guest. Yeah, so I feel like the bridge is the bridge is being built for the biggest. Friends only. Friends only. We are not shipping them. I'm seeing people ship them. No, like everybody is fucking stupid. Yeah. Stop.

SPEAKER_09

Like, we are our own worst enemies. Yes. Can we not? And like men and women can be platonic friends. Especially Car Carlito and Lindsay. Oh my god, it has to be that way. They are so destructive. Like, they're, I don't know, anyway.

SPEAKER_08

I beg of you.

SPEAKER_09

Better depiction in a reality show of like great friends and then a disaster together.

SPEAKER_08

Please, I beg of you to go watch season seven and eight.

SPEAKER_09

I beg you. Every time you discuss them shipping, like if you want to ship them, you have to watch that scene where they like take shot for shot, you know that date.

SPEAKER_00

I need you to calm down. I am. No, take a deep breath. Because I am not gonna apologize when someone's yelling at me. Because I'm gonna get defensive when someone's yelling at me.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Because I'm aware you're like you need to stop yelling at me.

SPEAKER_01

You're insulting me. The worst name I've ever had.

SPEAKER_08

You have to watch that. You have to watch the scene where she calls him cocaine Carl and he comes home completely sober, and then she doesn't apologize for it. Like you also have to watch that scene. Okay. Um, okay, what else do we have to talk about from the street?

SPEAKER_09

Okay, so the last thing I want to talk about is when they do, they take their they break for lunch and they do like the after, like they like film and West is so I feel like this is the first time we're actually seeing like their dynamic. Oh yeah, for sure. Um and it's very much like I know I need to do better, Wes.

SPEAKER_08

It was so crazy.

SPEAKER_09

And West immediately, it's just it's funny to see Wes like be because whoever's gonna be with her, like, there has to be like he's the man now. Like he how he's alpha. He has the alpha. Which is which I feel like he's beta. He is, yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_08

Um and just him saying But maybe that's how he is. You know what I mean? Like maybe that's actually how he is. Like he's really running things.

SPEAKER_09

That totally tracks. Yes, for sure. He like gives this like laid back totally, but then once behind closed doors, it's like my way or the highway. Yes. So he says, try not to, you know, like sound snippy.

SPEAKER_08

It was crazy when he said that.

SPEAKER_09

And she was like, Yeah, I know, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_08

The way she just like uh was like, Yeah, I know. She's like picking at her like salmon rice, the way her non-eating, eating. She like took a bite and then set it down and just like wasn't eating, and then used to cut to him and he's like shoveling with a fucking gullet. Oh, and then like he was like, I know, like I can tell like Sierra's getting under your skin, and like that, I know Sierra really gets under your skin, and I that's what she wants.

SPEAKER_09

The way they hate that woman, they hate Sierra, and she's like, I know. And I really don't think Amanda ever liked Sierra.

SPEAKER_08

That's what we're all learning. Holy shit. I also when Amanda was like, it's just like so annoying how they just keep being like, You're married, you're married. Bitch! I hate to break it to you, you're fucking married. And when you are like you are you have fucked around and now you're finding out. Like you you did something, you're doing something so fucked up. Like everybody is gonna be like, This is crazy, you're not even divorced yet. Like, that's weird. To be like flying to Italy as someone's plus one. That's weird behavior. I'm sorry. Call me old-fashioned. I don't really care. They're not even legally separated, like they're not even they're just living apart. They are still fully extra like in each other's lives, whether or not like they want to, like, Amanda wants to admit that. So we will talk about that in our uh pop culture potluck. Yes. Wait, we do have to talk about Miha. Oh my god, what do you think is gonna happen? I think that they're gonna like FaceTime her on the stage. So during this, also during this lunch break, Sierra goes. I like love that crazy bitch. Like, I love her crazy bitch vibe. She's so fucking beautiful. For one thing, like when she has like 10 ear piercings, I immediately wanted to go get more ear piercing. He does. It pisses me off.

SPEAKER_09

As soon as she picked up the phone, I mean, don't be wrong, I think she is a clout chaser and crazy, but like baby.

SPEAKER_08

I mean, she had like full glam to pick up a FaceTime during the room. What are we doing here?

SPEAKER_09

Like this is this is this is the stage, yeah? Yes. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Yes. Uh, but like she as soon as like they like, you know, got on screen, she was like, You look so beautiful. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. At first I thought it was Sabrina.

SPEAKER_09

I thought it was Sabrina.

SPEAKER_08

I thought it was Sabrina Bell.

SPEAKER_09

More like a friend. Yeah. A friend of her.

SPEAKER_08

No, it was Wes' ex-girlfriend that he kept a secret for a year.

SPEAKER_09

Um built all of his IKEA furniture. Someone who oh compliments people during weird times. Like, I'm the person. Yeah, yes. Like, I'm the person that like I I have this expression where I'm like, oh my god, depression looks good on you, girl.

SPEAKER_08

Um Emily sees you at your a funeral and she's like, You have never your skin is glowing like flea bag, like her hair in the middle.

SPEAKER_09

It's falling in this really chic way. I can't help it. Um, I so like I just love when I see that on my screen because my presentation matters.

SPEAKER_08

I loved it. But so basically, we learn it all like comes to light, you know, that like West was exclusive with this girl. And she's like, no, everything was fine. Literally, everything was fine up until like watch what happens live. Like, she was at his apartment. She was staying at his apartment.

SPEAKER_09

Freaky ass hair tie.

SPEAKER_08

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_09

How did you get that, bitch?

SPEAKER_08

I literally think about it every day. Where are you sourcing that? Are those horses okay?

SPEAKER_09

In the glue factory? Girl, I don't think you can cut a horse's tail off. It's like fur. It doesn't feel ethical. Horse girls, please let us know.

SPEAKER_08

Somebody weigh in. Is she is she friends with Elmer? You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_09

I mean, I don't like it.

SPEAKER_08

That so there's that. And then she, so she is like, I and Sierra's like, I mean, you like built all his IKEA furniture. It's like such a funny thing to bring up. But also, if I built some man's IKEA furniture, like, what the fuck? First of all, I would never say Ikea furniture, or she'd just say furniture. I don't know. Maybe I'm just maybe the internet took away and was like IKEA furniture.

SPEAKER_09

No, I could be wrong because I remember, okay, I forget when this was. He was on some like fucking podcast or some show, and we were like, his apartment is gorgeous. Yes. Oh, you're right. It's gorgeous. Oh my god, we did talk about this, and it was because of the horse hair tie girls. Oh, that's why it's gorgeous. He had his exclusive girlfriend fucking decorated.

SPEAKER_08

He was like hiding away in there. And then he said, so he basically was like, We can't be exclusive because the like Bravo only wants you to date other Bravo liberties, which is like, and then Kyle's like lean. So Kyle had joined at this point, and he's like, he's like, Yeah, and that's a perfect thing to say to somebody who's not in it and doesn't know the politics. By the way, it's fucking bullshit. It is, it's total bullshit.

SPEAKER_09

I mean, don't be wrong, he might have an agent who's telling him, like, don't have a girlfriend.

SPEAKER_08

Is there value in being a big bravo liberty couple? Which like Paige and Craig totally like sort of set that standard, set that mold. Sure, but like you could also bring someone on and you could make them if they're like a fucking gorgeous weirdo artist.

SPEAKER_09

Correct. Like, it's not like she's like some haggard ogre that wouldn't match perfectly in the Bravo universe.

SPEAKER_08

She's like a beautiful hot girl who's probably like funny and cool.

SPEAKER_09

And they also thought it was so funny the way they talked about because she's also seems really like she's she's camera ready, as I would say. Like both in personality and looks. Totally. Because she had mentioned like another thing he said was like, you're gonna get a lot of hate because the internet is always shipping me in Sierra.

SPEAKER_08

Yes, and it's like so it just I'm telling you, doesn't that prove he is so fucking manipulative? Yes, he is so in the comments, he's on the Reddit threads, like he knows what the audience wants to see, and he very much plays into that.

SPEAKER_09

But he's a manipulative, not in an entertaining way, just in a frustrating way.

SPEAKER_08

No, he's manipulative, like he's crazy, like I think he's like a bad fucking guy. Yeah, yeah, like a bad guy. He's not manipulative, like I want all reality stars are manipulative to some degree, but like I want them to be able to like manipulate a dinner scene. Yes, I want them to be able to like move plot. I don't want them to like put on a fake ass persona and play into like I don't ever as a reality TV viewer, like we don't want to be made to feel stupid. Like, we don't want to be bamboozled.

SPEAKER_09

You have to be winking at the camera. I too that's always winked and bamboozled. Bravo, you have to wink at the camera. Yes. If you're not doing that with the audience, if you're against the audience, you're not a good Bravo Levia.

SPEAKER_08

Which is why I do not think they're gonna bring him back on. Like, they're just I don't I'm the rumors are already swirling. Like I'm really hopeful he is not cast again because he's just a bad guy.

SPEAKER_09

He's like nefarious, and also there's just something so uniquely Missouri about him. Oh my god. The fact this is this is the most Missouri fucking thing on the planet. The fact that on, and I'm assuming these are different sides of the family, one side of the family literally someone murdered his grandma. Like a cousin murdered his grandma, yeah, and then the other side of the family are having like international Italian weddings in a castle.

SPEAKER_08

It's so that is Missouri. Like, welcome to Middle America. I also just want to say that I this is also so uniquely Missouri that I met somebody who's good friends with his mom recently, playing mahjong. She was like, it's so weird. I'm good friends with his mom. And I was like the most Missouri fan.

SPEAKER_09

Oh my god, in my entire life.

SPEAKER_08

As I'm like discarding and put drawing.

SPEAKER_09

I'm like, this is crazy. All right, so we shall see what happens in this next episode. They are either this is gonna be a nothing burger because nothing has come, there's been no leaks, which would be disappointing. But I would love to see I would love to see him get ants in his pants a little bit. West.

SPEAKER_08

Yes. Oh, if they bring Mija out. Yes. Yeah, I want to see even more perspiration. Yes. Yeah. And biting of the nails. Because like that's what he does.

SPEAKER_09

I just want to see a reaction that isn't that. I want to see him get mad or get defensive or do something.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. Um the most we said was, like you said, was when he finally decided to like show up, was when he was going after Kyle a little bit.

SPEAKER_09

Because there is a side of him that is like articulate and funny. It's that he just like disassociates and it's really not gratifying.

SPEAKER_08

No, it's like there's also that. Like he just like becomes mute and it's like you're not a good reality star. If you can't show up to the reunions and like be a fucking villain, yeah, and be in the hot seat, like show me some fucking crocodile tears. And Amanda is the same. I mean, no, see even Sandoval cry.

SPEAKER_00

Be a man, mate.

SPEAKER_01

Be a man, put yourself together.

SPEAKER_00

Crocodile tears, pussy.

SPEAKER_08

But like Amanda's the same way. And like Lindsay to her, you know, Lindsay was like, Do you know how many years I was in the hot seat and everybody was coming after me, and I never fucking got up? And she's right. Yeah. She's absolutely correct. So it's just like, if you don't have like the thick enough skin for this, then get off my screen. I mean, she and she never has. No, she's always been Kyle fighting her battles for her. Kyle's a great reality star, which Wes Wilson is not. So my friend Kelly, again, shout out, mess sent me this message on TikTok, and it was this edit of Kyle just like locking in and like defending women. And it was so good. And she's like, he is so complicated. She goes, okay, I forgive him. And I'm like, I know. That is why we can on this podcast, we are always like back and forth on Kyle Cook. It's like he's not a totally bad guy.

SPEAKER_09

Can we say it uh in our multitude line in 321? We contain multitudes. I think that's a perfect place to end it. Please listen to our uh pot your potluck. Will we pick up on episode three of In the City? Yes. Um, and more.
