Hi there and welcome to today's broadcast of One Gospel. I'm your host, Jilan Tut, and I'm as always excited to share a word from the Lord with you today. And so, um, if I look at the previous studies that we have done, uh, you know, I'm started this series called The Importance of the Word of God. Um, you know, if you just do like a little review uh or how you call that recount, um, you know, we have uh looked at the importance of the word of God, that the word of God is a seed. It's a seed that you have to sow into your heart, in the good soil of your heart, and then you have to meditate on it and ponder on it, you know, and and you have to speak it, and you have to mix it with faith, you know, and then there starts a process in your heart with that seed that will finally give you blade, head, full grain in the head. And uh it's amazing. And then I also have spoken about you know how Jesus is the word, because in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God, and this was in the beginning with God, John 1 1 1 2. And so um, and then we also uh spoke about you know um that we need to abide in the word, and if the word abides in us and we abide in the word in Christ Jesus, then uh we can ask whatever we want and it shall be given to us. Uh, because what I believe is that when you abide in Christ and you abide in his word, the things that you desire from the Lord are nothing more and nothing less than what he has provided by grace uh through Jesus Christ, and you won't desire things that are outside of his will. That's what I fully believe, and that's why I believe this verse is absolutely true. That if we if we abide in him and he imides in us, we can ask what we desire and it shall be given to us. And I've testified about that, how the Lord had supernaturally uh done a miracle in my life because uh I was in prison and I I was waiting for a transfer from Portugal to the Netherlands, and they denied it for some silly reason, and then I I wasn't allowed to go back to my country to do my time there, and then disappointed, I went back to my cell and I opened the Bible, and this verse in John 15:7 just came out of the Bible and it started to speak to my heart and my spirit that if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you can ask what you desire and it shall be given to you. And after reading it like a hundred something times, I said, Well, you abide in me, your words abide in me, and I abide in you. And my desire, my my wish, my desire of how you want to say that, is that I want to go back to the Netherlands and spend time with my family, uh, you know, more frequently by doing my time in Holland in prison. And so then supernaturally the Lord made that happen a few days later. I was back in the Netherlands, and that was a supernatural miracle uh by which I can testify that the word of God in this sense is also absolutely true. Amen. It's it's true from the beginning from the book till the end of the book, even the index is true. Hallelujah. And so um, today I want to continue this series, and I already said in the beginning that I don't know how many episodes we're gonna spend on this, but you know, as long as the Holy Spirit will prompt me to share things about it, I will share things about it. And so today I want to continue to look at the importance and the power of the word of God because you know it's beyond comprehension, it's so amazing and it's so powerful, and you know, it's our spiritual food, it's you know what we need to live a life in victory. We need the word of God to understand who we are in Christ, who Christ is in us, you know, what our identity is, what our uh uh authority is, and how we can walk in this life that Jesus has paid for for us and that God has intended for us to live, you know, destined us for to live that life. And so we need the word of God, and then of course we need the Holy Spirit who is our teacher and brings us all things in remembrance that Jesus has spoken to us. But that means that you first have to put the word of God in you so that the Holy Spirit, the teacher, can come and then bring you into remembrance the things that are in you because Jesus spoke it to you through his word. But he can't bring you anything into remembrance if you do not have the word of God within you, if you don't have that foundation in the word of God. And that's you know, there are too many Christians all over the world. I'm sorry to say so, but there are too many Christians all over the world who have no clue what the word of God says. They have no clue what it says about healing, they have no clue what it says about provision, they have no clue about what it says about the finished work, that we are no longer under the law, but under grace. You know, it doesn't talk about, they don't know about anything where it stands, where it says in the Bible. They may some they may say, you know, yeah, I know that it is somewhere in the Bible, but you know, it's like it doesn't, it's not real for them. It doesn't, it doesn't, it isn't, didn't come alive in them. It's not their foundation, it's not what they are building on, what they're living by. I don't mean that if you have the word of God within you, then everything is perfect because you know theologians also have the word of God in them, but they have it in their minds and they don't have to have it in their hearts. And so when they don't have it in their hearts, it's not real, also. Then it's just knowledge, just puffs up, but that doesn't do anything. So it has to be mixed with faith and it has to become alive, you know, it has to be something that you that you embrace as the absolute truth, and then you know, maybe you don't see it manifest in your life, maybe maybe you know you sometimes you stumble and you still struggle with things, and maybe you know sometimes you have challenges and difficulties, you know, but but you know that you know that you know that the word of God is the absolute truth and that there is nothing you can hold against it. It's the truth, and the truth will set you free, even though you do not experience it, it is still the truth. Like to take a simple example, you know, I've spoken with many many people, I've prayed for many, many people. We we do this uh open-air festivals all over the world, and you know, we are reaching hundreds of thousands of people who never set one foot into church, you know, and um I've seen you know miracle, signs, and wonders and healings, you know, like 100% on these festivals. It's like really amazing how God confirms, you know, the word of God, uh, you know, the gospel of the kingdom of God by these signs and wonders. And so uh, you know, um I've spoken with people in church and they said, you know, I have believed God for healing and it didn't happen. And so so I said, so based on the fact that your experiences that you didn't see your healing become manifest, God doesn't heal, or if God doesn't heal always, because my Bible teaches that by his stripes I am healed. My Bible teaches that Jesus was healing everybody, didn't deny anybody, everybody was healed that came on his path, you know, and so something is wrong, you know, with your faith system. Because, you know, uh because you don't feel loved, does that mean that God doesn't love you? You know, we don't walk by sight, but we walk by faith, you know, and so I can continue a lot on that. But you know, the word of God is infallible, and the word of God is the absolute truth, and we need to know the word of God. We don't have to become scholars, we don't have to become, you know, theologians, we need to get a personal relationship with Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit, you know, because um it will teach us everything that we need to know and it builds us up, you know, and it gives us strength and so on and so forth. And so, you know, let us look at the power and the importance of his word, because the whole world and the universe, they are created by the word of God. In Genesis 1, you know, God spoke and then he created the whole earth, you know. He said, Let there be, let there be light, you know, let the earth, you know, be separated from the waters, you know, and let there be animals in the sky and birds, birds in the sky, and animals on the land, let there be, let there be fish in the ocean, you know, and and so he spoke everything into existence. He spoke the word, and then the Holy Spirit took that what was spoken and created it and made it come into existence. But first it had to be spoken. You see, so the the word of God created everything that is, and there is nothing that is not been created by the word of God, as John 1 1 says, you know, that in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. This was in the beginning with God. All things have been made by the word, and there is nothing that is not made by the word. Let me just quote that right before I'm gonna confuse people. Let's go quickly to John John 1. John 1, because it's such a beautiful, beautiful statement. I don't want to mix things up because my uh lack of the English language. So John 1 1 says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. So God, the word spoke himself, and then the Holy Spirit took and created. He was in the beginning with God because he is the word, and then all things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made. So that was the sentence that I mixed up. But all things are made through the word, and without him, the word, it's talking about Jesus, Jesus is the word, without him, you know, nothing uh was made that was made. So everything that exists in this in this world has been created by the word of God through the uh creational power of the Holy Spirit. And so, you know, in Romans 4 17 it says that he calls those things which do not exist as though they did. Because he spoke things that were not there, but he spoke them like they were there, because you know, God creates everything with his words. Psalm 33, verse 9 says, For he spoke and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast. And these are powerful verses. It just confirms, you know, the importance and the power, the supernatural, omnipotent power of the word of God. This life-changing power of the word of God. His word does what it promises that it shall do. You know, Yessiah 55, verse 10 and 11 it says, then for as snow and rain come down from heaven and do not return their void, but water the earth and bring forth and bud and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that shall proceed from my mouth, say it the Lord, it shall not return to me void, it shall prosper in which I send it and do what I please. And so when God speaks it, it will not return to him void, it will do that for which it was sent. Man, that is amazing. That is so amazing. You know, the Bible says that you know God has sent this word and healed them and saved them from their from the grave pits. You know, so he sent Jesus and Jesus healed us and saved us from death. Amen. Hallelujah. That's so powerful. He Jesus did not return void to the Lord, Jesus was prosperous in which he was sent. Hallelujah. He did what the Lord pleased because he was the Son in whom he was well pleased. Hallelujah. Man, that's powerful stuff, man. I feel like preaching, hallelujah. So his word is powerful, and when uh his word is spoken in faith, his word always will be prosperous. If you speak his word in faith, it will always be prosperous. What a promise! Now let me share a few more Bible verses with you so we can just found give a foundation to what I'm saying. You know, Matthew 24, 35 says, Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words they will by no means pass away. Yesia 48 says that the grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of God stands forever. You see, everything will perish, but the word of God will never perish. Everything will fade, but the word of God will never fade. Everything will become powerless, but the word of God never becomes powerless, never will be will be stolen from his power. Yes, you know, if we do not mix it with faith, then it becomes of non-effect because you know your all your doctrines and and stuff, you know, make the word of God of non-effect. But the word of God itself, mixed with faith, is is an atom bomb. You know, it's like it can really, really completely transform uh, you know, your life into something that there was never before, man. Oh, that's so beautiful. Psalm 1910 says his word are more his words are more to desired than fine gold. You know, they are sweeter than honey, than a honeycomb. Do you imagine that if you can if you have the word of God, you take the word of God, when you read the word of God, when you when you take a verse, when you take one word, you know, and you will and you will treat it like it's a treasure that you have found. You know, you give it the weight, and you give it the honor, and you give it the the the value that it has. You know, just not throwing around all those things, but it has this weight for you. You know that when you find a word like that that can transform your life, it's more precious than fine gold, sweeter than honey. It's like, you know, when you find a huge treasure and rejoice over it. This is what happens if you take the word of God into yourself. If you feed yourself with the word of God and it logos the written word, becomes, you know, Ramah, it becomes a supernatural revelation in your heart that nobody ever, ever, ever can take away from you again. Like, for example, John 3.16 says, For God so loved the world, you know, that he gave his only begotten son, whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. But just the fact that he loved us. God so loves the world, he so loved the world. Nobody can take that away from me. I know that God loves us. I know that God loves each and every person on this planet, doesn't matter what the color is of their skin, what their background is, what their culture is, you know, what their misconception is about their identity, you know, God loves each and every person, and Jesus died for each and every person. That's a revelation I had in my heart, and nobody ever can take that away from me. God is love, and so that's beautiful. But I don't know this by the word of God that became true for true in my life, and then experienced that what God said in his word. So, who would want anything else in his word? Amen. What we need to do is we need to learn to trust on his word, we need to listen to his word, and what we also should do is we should listen to his voice. He speaks to us, to the Holy Spirit. And so we need to listen and let those who have ears to hear, let them hear. There are many people that are listening but they are not hearing. They the the sound comes in, but there is no fruit because it's not received in faith. They do not hear, they don't deny their ear, you know, to the Lord, to his commands, to his instructions, you know, to his promises. They don't lie, they don't die their ear to him. You know, that's what the proverb says, you know, that we know man, that's such a beautiful verse, but it's it's it says that they that you need to nigh your ear, you know, to the things of the Lord and you know, and and search it as silver. Hunt for it as a treasure because when you find it, you will understand you know the fear of the Lord, you will understand the goodness of God. Man, it's so beautiful, you know. So, and by the way, let me tell you also this: you should never listen to the voice of your wife. I always make that joke, and you know, my wife Brenda, she just is like, Well, I should reconsider that because I've got some pretty good advices for you, you know, and she does because you know she's really a great help for me, which I also tease her, which you know that the Lord gave her to me as a help. So, but uh, she truly helps me, you know, with a lot of wisdom. The Holy Spirit speaks through my wife, amen. But look what it says in Genesis 3:17. Let's go just let's read that together. I also want if I'm gonna do this study, it's just important that you have your Bible with you so you can look it up together with me. Genesis 3, verse 17. Then to Adam, he said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife. So here you see that you should never listen to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commended you, saying, You shall not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for your sake. Oh my god. And I can continue reading here because there's toil, there's hardship, there's sweat in his face, you know, porns and pistols, you know. Man, I'm telling you, it's not a good thing. He listened to the voice of his wife instead of the voice of God, and then because of that, you know, fall of man and the rest is history. Praise Jesus that he came to restore all that. But man, oh man, he caused a lot of troubles, this Adam, by listening to his wife. I'm just kidding, but brothers and sisters, you know, um, there is so much fun in the Bible, you know, God is a God of humor. You know, if you look at Sarai, you know, Sarai, you know, before she became Sarah, you know, she couldn't get any babies. And so she thought it was a good idea to tell her husband, Abraham, you know, like, hey man, uh, what do you think? Uh maybe you should can maybe you can go with my um with my slave Agar, you know, because you know, uh I can't give you any children, but maybe she can give you one, you know. And instead of Abram saying, No, are you nuts? Of course not. You are my wife. I'm not gonna share myself with other women. I'm not a prostitute, I love you. You are one flesh. You are my wife, you know, and God will provide. And then if you're like, no, Abraham didn't say anything like that. Look what it says in Genesis 16, verse 2. Here it says, So Sarai said to Abraham, see now the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, please go into my mate. My God, this is graphic stuff, man. Perhaps I shall obtain children by her. And Abraham heeded the voice of Sarai. Man, what a nutcase. How could he do that, man? Because we all know the problem. I would say, like, Abraham, don't do it, man. Think twice, you know, do not be deceived. You know, I mean, my wife always says, you know, listen, Johan, if you can get better, then you know, go and get better, but you know, don't come back to me crying, you know. So I know I can't get better than my wife. I'm gonna stay with my wife, I'm not gonna be fooled, you know. But Abraham heeded the voice of his wife, and then Hager was born. Uh, sorry, and then the son from Hagar was born, and Hager is standing for the law. You know, so the whole law and everything, you know, that's where Hagar stands for. Let's read in Genesis, in Galatians 4.21. Man, this is like crazy stuff here. Galatians 4.21. Galatians 4.21 it says this. It says, Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written that Abram had two sons, the one by a bondwoman, that's Agar, and the other by a free woman, which is Sarah. But he who was of the bond woman was born according to the flesh, and he of the free woman through promise, which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants, the one from Mount Sinai, which gives birth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to Jerusalem, which now is and is in bondage with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. Man, come on now. You know, all that trouble, you know, because he took a child from the flesh, you know, and not because he believed God. But, you know, without kidding, it's just like you know, I just wanted to say never listen to the voice of your wife. But of course, I as I said, I listen to the voice of my wife because, you know, she is very wise and she really helps me and uh, you know, makes me slow down sometimes and things like that. So anyway, but we should listen to God, amen. Like, you know, um Adam should have listened to God and not to his wife. He should have known what God said about the situation and not his wife. Abraham should have listened to God when he gave him the promise of his son, and not to his wife, you know, who didn't receive that promise directly from God. You know, and when she did, she left, you know. So, nothing, you know, against women, of course, please don't misunderstand me. You know, um, most people that are working for my ministry are women, they are reliable, faithful, loyal, dedicated, you know, good soldiers of the king. Of God, and you know, and they are like my sweet sisters and spiritual daughters, and you know, I'm really blessed with them, and my wife is the best, and I've got two daughters, you know, uh, besides my two sons, and you know, they're amazing and very reliable. And so I've got nothing, please don't misunderstand me. But the point that I wanted to make is that we should listen to God, what God says in his word, what he promises in his word, what he commands, the directions that he gives us, the guidance that he gives us. We should listen to that and not to influences from outside. Because when we live by that, when we live by the word of God, then we finally then we definitely can live in this fullness that he has for us, and we can live in the victory that he has for us. Once we start to listen to other influences, whether it's your wife or your friends or the news, you know, the world that we live in, your circumstances, your own thoughts, you know, these vain conversations in your heart, you know, when you start to listen to all those things and you do not listen to God, you do not listen to his voice, you do not listen to his word, you know, you are in for a lot of trouble. I'm telling you, you know, because you can't receive from God and you cannot walk in the things from God if you open yourself up to be influenced, you know, by opinions and doctrines and philosophies and all that kind of stuff, you know, and ideas of men. Man, that's powerful stuff. So those who have ears to hear, let them hear. Because this word of God brings life to those who hear. You know, Jesus says in John 6.63, he says, the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life. Now, there are people that talk words to us, you know, in the spirit where that comes from, you know, it's not the right spirit, amen. But the words that Jesus speaks to us, they are spirit and they are life. And this life is this life in abundance that you know the word talks about. So if we do not take Jesus the way to his truth, we will not find the life that he has for us. You know, because he who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son does not have life. So he who has the Word has life, because you can find life in the Word of God, and he who does not have the Word, who does not have the Son, does not have life. Man, powerful truths. These are powerful truths. I'm telling you, it's amazing. You know, then the life that we find when we find it in the word, you know, it's abundance, it's overflow, it's healing, it's you know, it's it's restoration, it's uh it's experiencing his unconditional love, grace and peace and joy and righteousness, you know, it's like his life is the best, the best, the best what you can imagine. He can do far beyond we can imagine or think on, you know, according to the power that is within us. Man, we need the word of God. So my time is already up again, and so I will continue in the next uh episode uh this importance of the word. I hope you were blessed. And you know, if you have any testimonies or questions, you know, or tips or whatever, you know, please go and visit our website and uh love to hear from you and uh also to get our free materials. In the meantime, stay blessed, and I'm I'm gonna see you hopefully in a new episode of One Gospel. Bye bye.
