In this episode, we explore a key principle: the Word of God works through a process. Just like a seed, it takes time to grow and produce fruit. Many believers lose faith because they expect instant results. This teaching helps you stay grounded, trust God, and keep believing—even when you don’t see change yet.

SPEAKER_01

Hi there and welcome at today's episode of One Gospel. I'm your host, Johan Tut, and I'm always excited to share the Word of God with you. So, in the previous uh episodes, I have been uh teaching on this series called The Importance of the Word of God. And uh, we've been through a lot of beautiful stuff. I really want to recommend you to go back to those uh first episodes and just you know go from the beginning. Um and just uh to recount the previous episode, I've been teaching on how uh what kind of effect the speaking the word of God had in the lives of the apostles. And I took a lot of Bible verses, I spoke about how Peter spoke it, how Paul spoke it, you know, how they how Philip spoke it, how they spoke the word, the the gospel, they spoke that to people, they shared that to people, and then people were saved, people were being healed, people were being set free, and people received the Holy Spirit just by them speaking the word. And then I also testified about how I have spoken the word of God to my daughter, to my children, to my family. Actually, uh, I just took my brother and my youngest daughter as an example, but I've spoken the word to all my family, and all my family got saved because I spoke the word of God to them. I spoke what God says about them, and I explained the gospel to them. Hallelujah. And so uh that's where we uh where we ended, and so I want to continue today in this same series, you know, and just see you know the effect of speaking the word and acting on the word and all this kind of thing. So let us just continue um in today's episode, amen. So um, you know, when we speak the word of God, you know, people sometimes expect immediately results. It's just like with healing, you know. Um, they all want immediately results, instant healing. And sometimes things just take time. Sometimes it just doesn't go, you know, like in an instant or in a second. That's got nothing to do with the fact that God didn't do it yet, or that he didn't respond to you yet because he's too busy with other stuff, or you know, it just has to get through some certain levels of heaven and you know, and all that kind of stuff. No, it's got nothing to do with it. The moment, and this is what I believe with all my heart the moment that you speak and the word of God in truth and in faith, it is done. Because it is already finished, it's just us taking that word and apply it in that situation, and so if we take that word in which it's already done and just apply it in that situation, then that whatever is done in that word will become manifest in that situation immediately. So spiritually, it's already it's already a fact, spiritually it's already done, but there are different levels of reasons why some things not immediately become manifest. Now, I mean, is it possible that you know um if you take somebody who is, for example, you who is um um how you say that in English, uh somebody that is paralyzed, uh, you know, is it possible that you know that person instantly, you know, can stand back on their feet and can be completely healed, like in a nanosecond? Absolutely, that is possible. I have seen it, and I can testify about that. I was, you know, at a uh conference in the Netherlands where they invited me to share a word, and then after that, I went to another place at the same uh event where I was allowed to pray with people, and so all the people came to the tent where I was ministering to them, and there was a mother with two daughters, and both daughters had the same muscle disease, and so that muscle disease caused them not using to be able to use their body parts, they couldn't walk, they were both in a wheelchair, and um, you know, the the older sister was uh further in that process than the younger sister. Um, she didn't walk for many, many, many years, and the younger sister had like two or three years that she couldn't walk anymore, you know, because of that uh muscle disease, and the mother was crying and all that stuff, and so I told the mother just to stand off a little bit so I could speak with the both of the daughters, and so I started with the oldest daughter, and I just spoke against her in the name of Jesus that all those muscles and all those tissues become strong again, that that sickness would leave in the name of Jesus, that the bone structure would become strong again, and that she would be able to walk. And I just pulled her out of her wheelchair, and so she stood up, she leaned on me, and then after like a minute or something, she says, Uh, you know, um, I want to sit down again, but I never stood in those last I don't know how many years. I I have I haven't stand for many, many, many years, so this is really like a real progress. And uh, all right, so I prayed for her, then I prayed for the younger sister. Same thing, and I just took her by the hand and pulled her out of the wheelchair, and she stood up and she didn't sit down again. And so I started to walk with her through the to the whole place, everybody was watching it, and I started to walk with her and walk with her and walk with her, and finally she was jumping up and down, and she was completely restored. And she she was like, she couldn't believe it, her mom couldn't believe it, and then you know, she was no longer, she didn't need the wheelchair anymore. She she was just like, you know, I'm healed, I'm healed, I'm healed. And then the older sister, she took a very sad face. And so I spoke with the older sister. I said, Listen, you think that God healed your sister and didn't heal you? And she says, Well, it looks like that. I said, That's not true, that's from the devil. Sometimes people get instantly healed, and sometimes it's progressive, but both of you are healed because the Bible says that by his stripes we are healed. It is already done, it's past tense, so you are already healed, and so maybe it isn't not yet manifest in the natural, but it's already true in your spirit, and I've I've prayed it, I've believed it, and so we will receive it. And so your sister, all right, she was instant, and you may be progressive, but you have to hold on to what we have prayed for, otherwise you will renounce it, and then you know the devil will get along go away with it. And so she says, Okay, I'm gonna believe that I'm healed. And then a few weeks later, see they sent me a video where she was walking behind uh, I don't know how you call that thing, a rollator. She was walking behind that thing, which she couldn't do. And then even a few months later, she came with some kind of brace around her um waist and she walked. You know, I mean she was paralyzed, but now she walked. You see, I spoke the word of God, I spoke what Jesus has done and what the word of God says about that. I spoke it to both of them, you know, and with the one we immediately saw results, and with the other one, we didn't. And it can cause us to doubt and believe that maybe God didn't do it for her but did it for her. Well, that's not the gospel. And so instead of blaming God, we need to stand on it, we need to receive it in our hearts and believe that it will do what it has been sent for, because you know, he says, the same way as rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return their void, you know, my word that shall proceed from my mouth, it shall not return to me void, it shall do what I please, and it shall be prosperous in the way which I send it. And so we spoke it, and it shall not return void, hallelujah. And we gotta believe that and stand on it. So sometimes we don't immediately see results, but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. Seeds have been sown. You know, sometimes it's a process for that seed to root and to give blade and then head and full grain in the head. And so we just speak it and then trust it. There is a process that starts from the moment that we speak the word and when we receive the word in our lives, when we hear it and receive it in our hearts. Let's go together to Mark 4. Mark 4. Right, so this is a very beautiful parable. In Mark 4 26, we will start to read until verse 29. And so here it says, Jesus said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow. He himself does not know how. So here we see that the word of God, the kingdom of God, and the word of God, that is like a seed, has a process of being of bearing fruit. So, yes, sometimes it can be instant, but who knows that that person already had a lot of seeds sowing in their hearts, and the fertilizer and the seed that we now spoke over them caused the rest also bam instantly to bloom. And so, you know, but it is a process. It says first the blade, then the head, and then and after that the full grain in the head. So it's a process, it takes time, it doesn't go instantly. That's not the normal way how it goes. It can happen instantly, but it doesn't have to happen instantly. And I'm not talking about healing, I'm talking about the manifestation of the spoken word that you received in your heart. The seed has been sowing into your heart, and then it takes time for that seed to incubate, it has to die in the soil of your heart, then it needs to go rooting, and when it's rooted, then it will come up, and then it will show the blade, and then it will, you know, it's something really beautiful. It's like when a woman is pregnant, you know, that seed has been sowing, and you cannot see that she is pregnant, and either can she. But that seed has been sowed, and then suddenly things start to change in her, and she starts to notice, and she knows, I'm pregnant, I am expecting. She is expecting something, but nobody else is seeing that she expected something, nobody sees it, but she knows, and then suddenly a time comes that you start to show, and people start to see, hey, you're expecting. Now you have to be very careful when you say something like that to a woman if you're not sure if she is expecting, because I have made that mistake in the past and they didn't really like that. But you know, some people look like they are have triplings, you know, anyway. So, but then finally, you know, the baby is birthed with she gives light to her baby, and then that's that's the fruit, you know, of the seed that had been sown into her body. And the same way is it with the word of God, it's been it's been sown into your heart, and then it takes time, and then you notice something starts to change because it's it's it's effortless, effortless, effortless change, and then finally, you know, it starts to show, people see that you have received something, and then the fruit will come. What a beautiful process, and what an amazing truth, amen. And so it's a process. We want directly results, but then where is the trust in the whole story if we only believe if we immediately see? Like Thomas, I spoke about that. You know, where is the trust in God? Where's the faith then? You know, we should have faith and trust in the word of God, that it does what he says that it does, that it will be prosperous in which he has sent it, and not worry about whether we're gonna see it today or in a week or in a month, but it will surely come to pass. For if he says that it will come to pass, then it will come to pass. God is not a man that he should lie. Amen. That's powerful truth, man. So if he says it, then he who is faithful will do it also. All right. So um also it's important, you know. Um the other side of the medal is then, of course, that you know, when you start doubting, you will make the word of God of none effect. Now, let me try to emphasize uh explain that a little bit. Doubt is the opposite of faith, right? And um if I take words, if I take the Bible, the word of God, and I sow it in my life, but I didn't mix it with faith, faith, you could see, is like the fertilizer of that seed that you sow into your heart. If I not mix it with faith, if I do not receive it as truth, but just as just as information, knowledge or whatever, but not real knowledge, like in the word knowing, you know, so you you understand what you are reading and you mix that with faith and you sew it into your life. If you do not do that, then you are like a double-minded man because on the on one side you said, yes, this is the word of God, and this is true, you know, blah blah blah, and I'm reading it, I'm reading it, I'm reading it, but I also see this in my life, I see that in my life, it doesn't work, you see, blah de blah de blah, and so you become double-minded. James says something about that. Let's quickly go there. James says in verse 6, he says, If we ask God something, that we should ask him in faith. So let me read it. But let him ask in faith with no doubting. Now let me go back just a little bit. Let me go back to verse 5. It says, If any one of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. So that's what the word of God promises. That is what we should believe, and this is the way how we should receive the word of God, the seed of the word of God. We should believe it and receive it, that it will be given without reproach, you know, to anybody who asks of God, it will be given. Everything that is in line with the word of God. And so, but let him ask in faith. You see, so you can ask, but if you do not ask in faith, if you don't even say, Oh God, you say in your word this, this, this, this, this, and if it is in your perfect will, maybe you can give it to me, but I'm not sure if you're gonna give it. But if you're gonna give it, then that's a bonus. That's not like really asking in faith. In faith is knowing that what we pray from him we already have received. He hears us and he answers our prayers. Amen. And so let him ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all of his ways. So there is seed of the word of God, but there's also a lot of weeds and a lot of thorns and thistles. And so that's the other side of you know, um, having the word of God in your life. How do you receive it? Do you receive it in faith or do you receive it in doubt? You ask it, you pray it, but you're not sure if he also hears you and answers you and gives you your desires or your needs or whatever, that it does that it actually works in your life. You're not sure about that. That's a double-minded heart. That's somebody that's you know not sure about things. And you know, and there's no condemnation, but some people just ask, you know, for example, people, you know, I'm going like a few different side roads, but just bear with me. People, I've spoken to people, I'm also a senior pastor of uh of our own church, and uh, you know, people ask me, you know, I've been given my tithes, you know, they they went to other churches because we teach them the right way, I believe. But they say, I've been given my tithes, and you know, uh, I don't see any, I don't see any increase. I can teach a lot about that, but I'm not gonna do that now. But first of all, uh your tithe is not a seed. So, you know, if there's no seed, then there's no harvest, it's a fruit. Fruits don't give more fruits, fruits give seeds that will bear more fruits. Amen. So, and you give it to God, not for you to increase, you give it to God because you want to honor him and worship him and you love him and you trust him with everything that he has given to you. It's just it's just the best of the best from the 100% that he entrusted you with, so you can stay with the 19 and receive that as a blessing. But the point I wanted to make is that when you give your tithes to the Lord, do you give that in faith or do you give that out of obligation? You see, two different approaches. The one that is out of obligation is of none effect, it has no use. You can keep your money in your pocket because God doesn't God is not out to rob you. You are robbing God if you do not bless him and show that you trust him instead of your wallet, but alright, different message. But it's just like, you know, um, you do not really trust him, and you don't you do not really mix your giving with faith, and therefore it becomes of none effect. I can sow a seed of finances and not believe that it will give me an harvest, not believe that it will do that which I send it to, and then it will not. There will be no harvest because I didn't mix my giving with faith, and so that's also with the word of God, you should mix it with faith, and you should do it in faith. If not, then you are a doubter, and a doubter always does what does without. And so, even if we think that our own doctrine is better than the doctrine that God has, if we are not obedient to the word of God, then the word of God is powerless in our lives. Mark 7 13 says, making the word of God of no effect through your tradition, which you have handed down, and many such things you do. And so, the word of God has the power to move mountains. But if you do not believe it, if you do not receive it in your heart and do not believe it in your heart, then it remains powerless. Let's go to Mark, just for the case of accuracy, let's go to Mark 11. Very famous verse, a lot used, quoted, and abused and misused for many many things. But let's go there to use it in the right way. Mark 11 22. Um, I'm now in Luke, so I'm not gonna find it there. Mark 11:22. Here it says that Jesus said to them, have faith in God. That was after the withered fig tree, that they couldn't believe it. But he said, Have faith in God. He said, For as surely I say to you, Asurely I, the I am, say to you, Whoever, that means any of us, whoever says, that means speaking, whoever speaks to this mountain, says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, then but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, yeah, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them. Now, let me just go one more time through that verse. Jesus says, Have faith in God. So you have to have faith in God, you have to have faith in his word, you have to have faith in him, in who he is, and what he says that he is and what he can do. Have faith in God, and then when you speak to your problem, the mountain is your problems, is your needs, is circumstances, things that you are facing. If you speak to that and you do not doubt in your heart, so you speak the word of God and you don't doubt about the word of God, you speak in faith, you do not doubt, but you believe that the things that you say will happen, then you will have what you say. Jesus says, You will have what you say, if what you say is in the line, is the word of God and you believe what you say. So you will have what you say if what you say is the word of God and you believe what you say. That's powerful. And so, you know, not saying if you you can speak it, but if you do not believe it, it won't give any fruit in your life, it doesn't do anything. Just trust that if you speak his words, it will cause effect, it will happen. And so it's a process. Now, this process of uh speaking the word of God and then you know, um, or sowing the word. God, you know, that that process, you know, that we read about in Mark 4. You know, let me just go back there one more time for you. So that we spoke about here in Mark 4 it says in Mark 4. All right, verse 26, and he said, The kingdom of God is as is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow. Grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself, first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. And so this verse that shows us that the word of God sown into our hearts has a sow time, and then it has a uh grow time, and then it has a harvest time. Amen. And so it's a process. And I want to show from the word of God how that process keeps coming back over and over and over again. And so, first of all, we can read here in Luke 2 verse 40, it says that Jesus grew and he became strong and then he was filled with wisdom. So Jesus grew, that is the blade, then he became strong, that is the head, and then he was filled with wisdom, that's the full grain in the head. Then in Acts 9 18, we can read that it says that Paul, after he had encountered with Jesus, Paul received sight, then Paul was baptized and he was strengthened, and then it says he increased all the more in strength. So Paul received sight, that was the blade, then he was baptized and strengthened, that was the head, and then he increased all the more in strength, which was the full grain in the head. And then in Genesis 26, 13, it says, you know, about Jacob, it says that the man began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. So he began to prosper, that's the blade. Then he continued prospering, that is the head, until he became very prosperous, that's the full grain in the head. And then in Acts 6.7 it says the word of God spread and the disciples multiplied. So that's the blade. Then Acts 12 24 says, but the word of God grew and multiplied, that's the head. Then in Acts 19.20 it says that the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed, which is the full grain in the head. It is a process, my brother and my sister. You really got to give it time. You really have to trust that what God says in his word. It will not return void, it will be prosperous in which he sent it. Man, that's powerful. That's really amazing. I hope it blessed you. I hope you know you received some new insights, and I hope to see you again in a new episode of One Gospel. God bless you. Bye bye.
