SPEAKER_01

Hi there and welcome to today's episode of One Gospel. I am your host, Johan Tut, and as always, I am excited to share the Word of God with you. I've started this series called In Christ, and man, I didn't even get really far because I'm still stuck in the very first verse of Ephesians 1. I've been sharing on you know what a faithful person is, a believer, you know, a believer that acts, you know, by believing and acting on it in faith. So if you are a believer and you say that you believe, you act on it in faith. Otherwise, your faith, you know, is like without works, it's dead. And so I've been sharing on that, and I've been sharing on the fact also that we now are that we now are saints, that we are holy, because Christ has made us holy. It's now his life that dwells within us. And if he is holy, then we are holy, you know. If the tree is holy, then the branches are holy, right? And I am crafted in the olive tree, which is Christ. And so if he is holy, then I'm holy. And I'm I have to be holy because otherwise the Holy Spirit couldn't take residence within me. He couldn't, he couldn't indwell my body and made it a temple, you know, uh, because he is a holy spirit, and an holy spirit cannot dwell within an unholy temple. Amen. And so I've been sharing on that, and man, it really blessed me, and it's really beautiful to know that I am not only called faithful, because in some translations it says to the faithful, and in some translations it said to the believers. So he writes this letter. Paul writes the letter of Ephesians, which I believe is one of the most beautiful letters of the Bible. He writes this to the saints and the faithful to so to the saints that are holy in Christ Jesus and the faithful, which are the believers, which are really acting on the things that they say that they believe. That's why they are called faithful. Amen. And so, if you are a believer and because of that you are holy, then Paul speaks to you in this letter directly, personally, to you as well. And so, you know, the whole word of God, you know, uh is written for us, for our sake, you know, and you know, the Lord, you know, can speak to each and every word and every joddah and every till. He can speak straight into your heart. And so, you know, this word he is written down for you, so you can take it all personally, it's all been written for you, so that you may understand, so that you may grow, so that you may see, that you so that you may be revealed, so that you that you may have more faith and you start to believe more and all these things, you know. And so, you know, in general, the whole Bible is written for you. But in this Ephesians letter, if he says that he writes this to the saints who are in Ephesus and the faithful in Christ Jesus, he also writes and addresses this to you because you are in Christ a saint, and in Christ, faithful, in Christ, you are a believer. Amen. You are a believer of Christ Jesus. And so this letter is to you. Father God, thank you for this teaching, and I pray, Father, that it will really bless those who hear in the name of Jesus. Amen. And so he addresses this to you because it's addressed to the saints and the believers, to the I am. Amen. And so this is what God, among other things, says to you in these very first verses, you know, of this letter Ephesians. He says in verse 2, he says, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and the peace of our Father. Grace to you and the peace of our Father. You know, we read this stuff, you know. We're just reading the Bible, you know, just open the Bible and start reading it, you know, and we just read over it like it's not like in that's but it's intentional. There is something there to say something to us, you know, and we just read it and we just go to the the bits and the pieces that jump out the most. But every every word there is intentional, it has some point, it needs to it wants to teach you something, it wants to show you something, it wants to reveal something to you. And so here it says that if you are a saint and a faithful in Christ Jesus, then he says, grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Now, grace is unmerited favor. You you received something that you did not deserve whatsoever. You didn't deserve it in any way, but you received it anyway. That's why it's called grace. It's unmerited, undeserved favor. It's that what God bestows upon you, what God shows you and gives you. You know, he favors you and he you know gives you grace because of who he is and what Christ has done for us. And so we can you didn't deserve it, but you also can deserve it because it is his grace proven to you. If you could deserve it, then it no longer would be grace. Amen. If if if it's unmerited favor, then it wouldn't be unmerited anymore. If I would deserve his favor, then it would be just favor based on performance. But that's not the favor that God gives us. God gives us unmerited favor, you know, in spite of your performance. Doesn't matter what you're gonna perform well or you're gonna perform wrong, you still have his unmerited favor because it's unmerited, it's undeserved. Amen. It's so logical, it's so simple. We are saved by his grace, we are redeemed by his grace, we are forgiven by his grace, we are accepted by his grace, and we are heirs by his grace, we are temples of the Holy Spirit by his grace, you know, we are blessed by his grace with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places because of his grace, you know. We have become, you know, um citizens of heaven, sorry, because of his grace. We have received so much. It's too much to just mention, like, you know, in a few seconds, but we have received so much once we received his grace, his unmerited favor. I mean, unnumerous things have been imputed and have been added to our account. And we need to discover in Christ Jesus what grace has established for us, and now what we have, who we are, and what we can do in Christ because of his grace. And so if you are in Christ Jesus, the favor, the grace, the goodness, and the compassion of God is with you. And that's amazing news, my brother, my sister. You know, if you could listen, if you have the grace of God upon your life, if you have God's unmerited favor in your life in each and every step that you take, you know, in each and every, you know, form, you know, you have a huge advantage. I mean, like an unbelievable advantage, you know, on those who do not have the grace and the favor of God in their lives. I mean, you I don't know if you really truly understand, but if you can, if you can say that you are the favorite of God, that you have that you have the grace of God in and on your life, man, you know, then this is you are like invincible. You know, it's because it's no one can compare to that. No one. Once God is for you, who can be against, man? You have found grace with the living God because of who you now are in Christ Jesus. You are now a saint and faithful in Christ Jesus, and this grace makes you invincible in any kind of situation. In any kind of situation, I'm telling you, if God is for you, if grace is for you, then who can stand against? You know, and who who cares who can stand against if God is for you? Amen. I I have grace with God, I am highly favored. So you can say, I am highly favored. I am highly favored. You know, I'm gonna share on the favor of God, you know, in um a little bit further along in this series. But just to as a little sidetrack, I wanted to mention to you, you know, that the grace of God and the favor of God will open doors for you that that would be closed for others. It will give you it give you advantage in each and every situation of your life. You know, you can achieve things, you know, that you wouldn't be able to achieve without the grace and the favor of God. You know, it's like you know, when the king gives you favor, and you can get things done that nobody else can get done because they don't have the favor of the king. But you have the favor of the king of kings. Hallelujah. You have the favor of the king of kings, and because you have the favor of the king of kings, that grace may be multiplied to you, that favor may be multiplied to you. You know, by just walking as a believer, as a saint, as a faithful one in that what he says that he believes, by acting on it in faith, the grace and the favor in each and every area of your life will become more and more manifest. Man, I can share so many testimonies on how the favor of God has worked in my life. You know, man, how can how am I gonna say this? You know, when I didn't had Jesus in my life, I felt that the whole world was working against me. That's why I escaped into drugs, that's why I, you know, tried to buy my way into happiness, you know, with all that stuff that I had and did, and then so on and so forth. You know, but there was no favor in my life. There was no there was no grace in my life. You know, I do believe somewhere, but this is my own ideology, I do believe somewhere that God's eye always has been upon me and that he has protected me with his angels, even though if I didn't deserve his protection and didn't know him as my Lord and my savior, because I have been in situations where I definitely normally would die. I would never survive that situation, I would never get out of that situation, but I did. And so when I look back, I'm just realizing that maybe, you know, his favor already was working in my life without me knowing. But I don't know if it's biblical, it's just you know, supernatural that he already had a plan for me before I even know him, knew him, you know, and he already, you know, had parts for me for hope in the future, you know, and parts of peace. Amen. And so, but now that I am in him and I am aware that who is for me and who is with me and who dwells within me and in whom I am now and who now is in me, you know, now I realize my identity, my my my position as a son of God before my father, God, the creator of the heavens and the earths. I understand and I can recognize what this favor, what this grace does for me in and through my life, because he brings me in places where nobody else is able to come. I sit with leaders of countries, I sit, you know, with political parties, I've sit with I've sit with um you know armies, people you know, from the army, generals and that kind of stuff, you know, whole police squads, you know. I have like sometimes I have protection and um how you call that, I have um um uh guidance, I don't know, it's a protocol, you know, that that they send this whole convoy, you know, of army people or you know, soldiers or you know, policemen with their weapons into the teeth, you know, and all mask and everything, you know, and they just give me this escort, you know. When I arrive at the airport, I don't even go to passport control, they just escort me into the country wherever I need to go and give me full protection and will give their lives for me. Why? Because I'm such an amazing guy. No, it's the favor of God. I mean, if you realize where I come from, and then that the police or the army would protect me the way that they do, that's only called supernatural. That can only be called supernatural because you know, but I have that favor. I come in places where nobody else comes and I get open doors where nobody I get licenses that nobody else gets, you know, to do crusades, to do this open air festivals, you know, all over the world. I come in places where it's strictly forbidden to preach the gospel, you know, and to save those people. Yet I have the favor of God and don't even go through passport control. They just get me in, I'm just doing my thing, reach tens of thousands of people, you know, 60,000, 70,000 people at one time, you know, preach the gospel to them, win them for Jesus, baptize them, and baptize them in the Holy Spirit, you know, and I get escorted, you know, with the same protection out of the country. I've got people, you know, in various places, you know, and I'm not gonna call names or countries or anything. I don't want to put anybody in danger, but I have the favor of God. I do really have the favor. I see the favor and the grace of God working in my life. Also in those kinds of things. And then, of course, you know, you have the grace and the favor for small things, you know, like in your family or in your finances, in your job, you know, in with with relations, with people, you know, in all kinds of things. We have the favor and the grace of God, man. Isn't that amazing? You are highly favored of God, and you can say, I'm highly favored, I'm a saint, I'm faithful, I'm a believer, you know, and I'm highly favored of God. I have grace with God in Christ Jesus. Amen. Wow, man, that's beautiful. And then it also says the peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Man, I can share a little bit on peace, and I will, because his peace is not the peace that the world gives us, like a pseudo-peace made in Taiwan. You know, I don't want to offend anybody, but you know, like this pseudo-piece, you know, tells you, like, you know, I've got a I've got a roof above my head, I've got money in my account, I've got a car, you know, I've got, you know, I've got food in my fridge, I can pay the bills, and I've got a little bit of savings, you know, I'm I have a job, you know, I have peace. I'm good, I have peace. No, you're fool. You know, if if that falls away tomorrow, your peace goes with it immediately. Because if you do not have a roof above your head and you have no food in your fridge, and you do not have a job or an income, and you do not, you know, have some savings and uh, you know, uh transportation uh means, you know, to go wherever you need to go, to do whatever you need to do. You do not have all that stuff, then suddenly you have no more peace. You will fall apart, you know, like a two-dollar suitcase, as my spiritual father Andrew always says, you know, we just don't have that peace. You just don't have that peace, you know, and so the peace that Jesus talks about is a peace that you can have peace, even if those things fall away. It is a peace that surpasses all other peces. Amen. It's a different kind of peace, it's an internal, extreme rest. In the midst of the greatest storms, in the midst of the greatest challenges, you know, in the midst of every tsunami that comes against you in this life to shake you. In the midst of all of that, you will you will be able to experience this supernatural peace, no matter what kind of situation you find yourself in. His peace brings supernatural silence, calm, serenity, trust, rest. It brings this peace in your heart like a lake without any wrinkles. You know, it's like a mirror, it's just quiet. It's nature in its finest. It's just quiet. This peace you can experience in each and every moment and every situation and every facet in every situation of your life, you can experience that peace. John 14 27. Let's go there. John 14 27. Man, I'm telling you, this is some amazing stuff. Really blesses me. Jesus says, peace I leave with you. Now it's not something that he comes to bring, he leaves it with you. Amen. When you receive Jesus, you receive his peace. And it says I, and that means I am. Peace I am leave with you. My peace I am give to you. My peace. Man, I will get into it. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Now, if you have his peace, which surpasses all other peace that you can imagine, all this pseudo-peace that is in the world, this false sense of comfort, some false sense of security, protection, you know, calmness and serenity, this false sense, you know, of peace, which is not really it's not peace, because if it falls away, the peace is gone. But with Christ, his peace that he leaves with us doesn't matter anymore when what kind of situations you are facing in your life. This peace remains because he left it with us. It's in us, he is peace, he is my peace, and he is within me. I have his peace within me, so I can always be in that place of peace, you know, in the midst of the greatest challenges of my life. And it says that if you have his peace, your heart don't need to be troubled, nor your heart has to be afraid. Why? Because you have his peace, you know that everything works out well for those who love him, according to the power of God that is within us. Amen. Let's go to Philippians 4 verse 6. Philippians 4. I don't know if I can get it to the to the end of this, but I'm gonna do my best. Philippians 4 verse 6. So here it says, Be anxious for nothing. So don't be don't be stressed out. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request made known to God, and I'm I can go really deep in this, but I won't. And the peace of God, the peace of God, not the peace of the world, the peace of God will, you know, which transcends all understanding, transcends all understanding, surpasses all understanding, you cannot grasp it, you cannot get a hold of it. It will guard your hearts and your minds to cr through Christ Jesus. So his peace will guard your heart and your mind so that worry doesn't get in, so that anxiety doesn't get in, fear and doubt doesn't get in. He will guard it, you know, when you rejoice in the Lord and when you make all your requests known by prayer and supplication in thanksgiving to him. And also, you know, it will guard your heart. Don't let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid, because I'm gonna leave you, I leave you with my peace. And then, you know, um, and so in verse 8 and 9 it says that if if whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, and whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there's any virtue or if there is anything praiseworthy, and we meditate, meditate on these things, what we have seen and learned from Paul as well, if we do that, it says here in verse 9 that the God of peace will be with you. The part of the God of peace. You know, the God of peace is with me, so the peace of God is with me. Amen. Because that's what Jesus left me, that's what he told me. I'm gonna leave my peace with you. My peace I leave with you. Not as the world give do I give to you, but my peace. Man, Jesus is peace in the middle of the storm. He speaks against every storm. Silence. You know, he just sleeps when the waves come over the boat. He has a peace that is not, you know, from this world is something that you cannot comprehend. And it's it's that peace that he left with us. It is his peace that he left with us. So you can now be in the peace. You know, Ephesians 2 14 says that he himself is our peace. You know, he made boat one, you know, broke down the middle wall that brought separation, which is the law, you know, and so and then he has abolished in his flesh the enmity that is the law of the commandments contained in ordinances. So the Created in himself one new man from the two, thus making peace. And so we now have his peace, his peace is now within us, and the God of peace is now with us, and his peace that will guard our hearts and our minds that surpasses all understanding is now with us because he made peace for us between God and ourselves. Now all these things have become available because now I am a saint and I'm faithful, I'm a believer in Christ Jesus, and so his grace and his favor now bestowed also, his peace in my life. Man, that's powerful stuff. That's powerful stuff. So God's peace is over every situation, you know. Every situation. If you are in a storm, peace. If you are afraid, peace. If you are lonely, peace. If you have lack, peace. If you are sick, peace. If you are dying, peace, man. Peace. It's there. Whatever it is, I am peace. Because he has given me my peace. I in Christ Jesus, I have peace. I have peace with God. I have peace in my soul. I have peace in my mind. I have peace in my spirit. I have peace in my body. I have peace in my circumstances, in my finances, in whatever situation I'm facing, I have peace because He has given me His peace. Now I may not always experience that peace, but that's because I'm not dwelling within Him, but I'm dwelling in my situations. And I've teached on that also in another series called In Him. And so it's important to be found in Him, rooted in Him, and build up in Him so we can experience this peace. But I have this peace and I can I can I can draw from that and I can walk in it 24, 7, 7 days a week because He left it with me, He gave it to me, and I am now peace in Christ Jesus. I have His peace. And you need to, you know, this truth needs to reassure your heart, it needs to encourage you. You know, if you really truly trust Him, really truly believe Him, you know, then this word you know will empower you to have peace in each and every moment of your life. You can rejoice in each and every moment of your life. You know Let's see in Habakkuk 3 17. Let me just quickly see the time that I have. And because this is really beautiful, you know, Habakkuk almost there. Okay, Habakkuk. Habakkuk 3 verse 17. It says, Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, though the labor of the olive may fall, and the fields yield no food, though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation, because the Lord God is my strength, he will make my feet like dears' feet, and he will make me walk on high hills. You see, even though the whole world crumbles apart and falls apart around me, you know, like the song, you know, like you know, if the sky that we look upon home would crumble and fall, and the mountains would tumble into the sea. No, I won't be afraid, no, I uh I won't be afraid, because I know that you stand, stand by me. Amen. He is with me, his peace is with me, his joy is with me, his strength is with me, his love is with me, his grace is with me, his favor is with me, I am the favor of God, I am blessed of God, I am a saint, I am faithful, I am a believer. Man, his grace and his peace is with me, and I can rejoice. His gifts and his callings are without repentance, they are irrevocable. So I am his child in Christ Jesus, and that's all I need. In Christ I'm holy, I have peace and I have grace. And man, what more do you want if God is for you and all these things are with you now? What more do you want than just to rejoice now? You know, in the fact that you have his grace and you have his peace, you are his saint, you are holy. This is who you now are in Christ Jesus and what you have in Christ Jesus. Man, I just started this series, but I'm gonna be I'm sure that this is gonna be a real big blessing for everyone who hears. You know, so please I want to see you in the next episode. And if you have any testimony or comments, leave it here in this link here. Go there and leave your comments. I really want to hear from you. God bless you, and I hope to see you again in a new episode of One Gospel. I love you. Bye bye.
