You are not the same person anymore.

In Christ, you have become something completely new.

In this episode of One Gospel, we go deeper into one of the most powerful truths of the Gospel.

You are a new creation.

The old is gone.
The past is not your identity anymore.
Your nature has changed.

But many believers still see themselves through their past.

They remember who they were.
They feel what they used to feel.
And they live from that place.

But that is not who you are anymore.

This message will help you understand what really happened when you were born again and how to live from your new identity.

Hi there and welcome to today's episode of One Gospel. I am your host, Johan Tut, and as always, I am excited to share the word of God with you. And so I've started this teaching called In Christ, and we are already in the I don't know how many episodes of that. And I've been teaching on a few verses in Ephesians 1. You know, and um before I'm gonna get into that and before we're gonna pick up there, I just want to uh mention quickly that I have these uh books. I wrote a few books, but this one here is the ABC of the gospel, it's the fullness, living in the fullness is the title, the ABC of the Gospel is a subtitle, and this book really helps you to understand, you know, your identity in Christ as well. I don't believe I covered everything that is to cover on it because there's so much to cover on, you know, but it really will help you to understand why. Did I call it the ABC? Because A is you know, how do we get into the fullness of God? What do we need to do to get into the fullness of God? Well, the only thing that we need to do is to believe on Jesus, amen. But there are a few steps that from our part that we need to take, you know, to get in that fullness, for example, to repent, to be baptized, you know, and to to ask the the the the to ask Jesus to baptize us with his Holy Spirit and those kind of functions, things, and then you know we get into the fullness. So then B will explain us what that fullness is. And so I believe it covers a lot also that I'm covering today, maybe more in depth. But um, I use over 500 Bible verses to talk on uh, you know, what it means that we are now in the fullness that God has for us. And then there is also a practical part, you know, which is a little bit more emphasized on us, you know, going out and making an impact in the sense of you know, how do we lead people to the Lord, how we baptize them, how we baptize them with the Holy Spirit, how we cast out demons, how we heal the sick, and all that kind of stuff. And so that's the see how do we walk out that fullness in our lives, and so it's more in the practical way of evangelism, that kind of stuff. But I really believe that this book is gonna be a huge blessing for you, and it's also a study book that you can also use to help and teach others, you know, concerning all these truths. And I really believe it will give you tools to be transformed, and so get your copy. You can get an uh e-book, e-hub, or however they call it, so you can watch it on all your uh tablets or phones or whatever, and but you can also get the physical copy. Now, the copy itself it is for free. Always my books are for free, but you need to pay for mailing costs, and so that is not included. You need to pay for the mailing costs. Okay, so get your copy ASAP in the link below, and then of course, the God of Restoration. I've mentioned it before in some of my episodes because this book is really amazing, really blessed me so much that I had this revelation before God. You know, how God, you know, has sent his son to restore everything that was broken and what that really means for us. And I'm covering a lot of that stuff also, you know, um, in uh some of the series that we have here on uh the one gospel. So please get this as soon as possible as well, and I really believe it's gonna be a huge blessing for you. Amen. And so so I've been teaching on you know the In Christ series, and uh in particularly in uh these previous episodes, I have thought on you know Ephesians 1, verse 1 until verse 3. I didn't come very far, you know, on that. So uh, you know, I've thought on you know how we are the saints, how we are holy in Christ Jesus, how we now, you know, we are the faithful, the believers in Christ Jesus, and now we have the grace of God in our lives, and we have the favor of God in our lives, and uh, you know, we have the peace of God in our lives and what that means. And then I came to you know that you know we also were blessed, we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And so I've been covering some of the spiritual blessings that we have now received in Christ Jesus. For example, to be to be adopted as sons of God in Christ Jesus, to be redeemed by the blood in Christ Jesus, to be forgiven, to be accepted, not rejected, you know, to become his sons, that he chooses us in Christ Jesus before the foundations of the earth, and that in the fullness of the times we are now have been made one with Christ Jesus, with God through Christ Jesus, who is our peace, he is the atonement for our sins. And so I share on how, you know, one of the spiritual blessings also is that we are no longer slaves, but we are now sons. And that when we are sons, that we are also heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus. And we are also heirs now, you know, that's also part of the spiritual blessing of the blessing of Abraham. And so I've shared on how we now are blessed with the blessing of Abraham. Now I also emphasized a little bit on maybe you don't see all those things, like maybe you don't see the you know, favor of God working in your life, in every aspect of your life. That's not because you are not the favored of God. You are. It's got to do with, you know, whether you are standing where you are standing in life, where your focus is, you know, where your faith is, and you know how you apply his principles and all that kind of stuff, you know, whether you're gonna, whether you're gonna uh walk from the spirit or you're gonna flock walk from your carnal man, you know, and and all that stuff. And I say that without condemnation, God doesn't condemn us. You know, it's just like you know, you are favored of God. You are, you know, you he has bestowed his grace upon you, you know, and you're under the grace, and you are a child of God, you are forgiven, you are chosen, you are accepted, and you are blessed with the blessing of Abraham. And Abraham was very rich, and maybe you are not very rich, and then you say, Well, then how that is possible, you know. Well, it doesn't it doesn't mean that you are not blessed with the blessing of Abraham, and it also doesn't mean, you know, that God's word is not true, because God's word is true, because God is not a man that he should lie. God cannot lie, and he puts his worth above his own name. If he said it, you know, he will guard over it to do it. You know, if he said it, it will surely come to pass. For as snow and rain come down from heaven, but don't do not return their void, but they bring forth and give water and and and and bring forth and butt and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be, says God. It shall what what shall proceeds from my mouth, it shall not return to me void, it shall do what I please, and it shall be prosperous in the way which I send it. And so, you know, if God has spoken it, you know, and then you can stand on that. It's yours, because he spoke it, and now it's yours. And so, you know, it's the part is not with God, it's just, you know, whatever we are going through, whatever the circumstances are, whatever our focus is on, you know, whatever we put our faith in, you know, whatever we decide to embrace as truth in our lives is what we will see become manifest, you know. But you are favored with the favor of God, and you are blessed with the blessing of Abraham. And so everything that pertains to Abraham now pertains to you in Christ Jesus. Everything, every spiritual blessing he has blessed you already with past tense, it's already done. And so we've been sharing on that, and man, it's so important to, you know, keep hearing this, proclaiming this, believing this and acting on it so more and more of it, more aspects of it will become manifest in our lives. But you know, I what I always do is, you know, well, always, what I often do is, you know, I take a pen and I take a piece of paper, and I'm just gonna sit and light a candle, you know, or have some warm light, you know, and it's just me in my little bubble, and I'm just gonna sit and I'm gonna reminisce on all the things that God, since Jesus has come into my life, has um made come to pass, what he has done in my life, all the miracles, all the breakthroughs, all the blessings, all the little blinks of an eye, you know, all the promises that he made, you know, every principle that I applied which has a consequence to see if they became manifest and it did. And so all these things are just write them down. And man, I in the end I've got pain in the top of my fingers, and my paper is full because of the faithfulness, you know, and the absolute um truth of the word of God, you know, because man, we f we tend to forget where He thought where He found us and what He has done for us since He came into our lives, and we are only looking at what we don't see manifest in our lives yet. What we don't have seen become, you know, has come to pass in our lives yet. We we focus on those things that we we cannot testify about yet. But we should focus on the things that we can testify about. You know, we should focus on the things that already came to pass, the things that already have been done, already has become manifest. How many times did he came through for you? How many times you were in a situation where you stood with your back against the wall and you felt that there was no way out? You did just didn't know what to do. How many times did he save you when you needed saving? How many times did he heal you when you needed healing? How many times did he restore you when you needed restoration? And how many times did he provided when you when you needed provision? How many times did he protect you when you needed protection? How many times did he comfort you when you needed comfort? How many times? How many times? Innumerous times, from the day that he came into your life until where you are right now. I am sure of it. I am 100% sure of it because my God can't lie. He'd done it for me, and he's doing it still for me, over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the unchangeable changer, the great I am, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And he is for me, and he is for you, and he is within me, and he is within you. And all of his promises are yes and amen. And I am blessed, and you are blessed, because you are a child of God in Christ Jesus. Whether you see it or not, whether you feel it or not, it is so because God says that it is so. Amen. I need to contain myself for not going to preach instead of teach. Because when I start to preach, you know, I'm jumping off my chair, you know, and I'm starting to shout for joy, you know, because man, I am so blessed, man. I am so loved. And you are too. There is no difference between you and me because there is no partiality with God. He doesn't have any favorites, although we all believe that we are, you know, but he doesn't have any favorites. He doesn't have like an apple of his eye. We are all the apple of his eye. You know, he has his eyes on all of us, and he is a jealous God. You know, he wants us for himself 100%. Nothing left out. You know, and if you are truly a child of God and you are truly a believer, you truly are a disciple of Jesus who is your rabbi, then you should want to, you should need to want everything that Jesus has established for you with his death and his resurrection, everything that has been provided for you through his deaf and his resurrection, what is what is available for us in grace, what is imputed to our account, what is already have been given to us, like all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places. You should want to have that all become manifest in your life. Don't you ever leave one of the aspects of the blessings outside because it doesn't suit your doctrine or your uh personality. You have to receive it all because you know, don't let Jesus died in vain for one to establish one of those blessings in your life because you don't want it. Like there are a lot of people that say that they don't want to be prosperous. They just say, I don't want to be prosperous. Why don't you want to be prosperous? Yeah, I'm I'm I am satisfied with what I have. No, you are a liar, you're a hypocrite. I'm sorry to say so. Because you know, you being satisfied with what you have means that you have something, and if you have something, then you are prosperous because I know people that have nothing. So, you know, for you to say that you know, I don't want that prosperity that God has for me, you know, he became poor so that you and I could be rich. Now he became poor and so that you could be rich, and this word rich in this verse is pluteo, that means you know, wealthy possessions. And you say that you don't want that because it doesn't feel right according to your doctrine, but the word of God says it. So, you know, which one should you follow, right? Don't be a hypocrite, just receive what God has for you, and you know, he wants you prosperous, not so that you can live in a bigger house and drive in a bigger car. He wants you prosperous so that you could be a blessing, because that's the blessing, the spiritual blessing that he's given us. The spiritual blessing in Genesis 12.2, one of the spiritual blessings, is that we have been blessed with the blessing of Abraham, and then he says here in Genesis 12.2, and come on, we're gonna read it because I want to quote it to you exactly as it says in the New King James Version. So when he says here in verse 2, Genesis 12 2, he says, I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. You shall be a blessing. So why does God want to bless you so that you can be a blessing? Why God wants you to be prosperous, so that you can be prosperous and you have enough and extra so that you can be a blessing, so that you can build the kingdom of God, so that you can sow into the kingdom of God, so that you can help people in need, so that you can give food to those who are hungry, that you can drink, give drinks to those who are thirsty, can give clothes to those who are naked, so that you can make an impact and can make a difference in the world for the kingdom of God. That's why God wants you to be prosperous, because if you have nothing, you can give nothing. So you there sitting and saying, you know, I don't want that prosperity message, I don't want the gospel to prosperity gospel. The gospel is about prosperity because Jesus came to bring life and that in abundance. Now, and I can tell you something. I've seen a lot of people that are so poor, you know, they are so poor that they really don't have anything, not even clothes on their body, just laying on the floor in the middle of the street and have nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing but you know the air that they breathe. And they are so poor. No, that is not that is not life. That is not life. That is not what God intended for us. So we need abundance. And the abundance is that you have a roof above your head, that you have clothes on your body, that you have, that you have water, that you have food, you know, that you can, you know, that your health, that you can go to a doctor when you have a problem, you know, and you know, you need to, you know, I don't know, you broke your leg and it needs to be set straight or whatever, you know, that you can can afford that kind of stuff, that you can pay your bills. You know, so we need abundance. And so that we can be a blessing to others, man. You know how bad it feels for me, and I'm sorry to say, you know, I don't know where I get on this sidetrack, but I'm just gonna continue because I'm preaching to somebody. You know, for me, you know, I work, I work a lot in in uh countries in South America and I've passed a lot of people that are really, really poor, and I see a lot of beggars. I believe I see more beggars than many of the people that live in the Western worlds have ever seen. You know, because everywhere we go, there are beggars. You know, it doesn't matter which country you go, there are baggers, beggars, beggars, beggars, beggars. In each street, in every corner, beggars, baggers, baggers, baggers, beggars. Man, normally if I would walk to a street with no beggars, it would take me two minutes to pass that street. But if it's a street with baggers, it will take me a half an hour to get to the end of the street. And people ask me why, because I stop with each bag and I give them something. Whether it's gonna be some of my money, when it's gonna be something of my food, a piece of clothes, you know, or just a word of kindness and encouragement or a prayer. Just seeing them, you know. That's that I need prosperity to do that in each and kind of way. And and Abraham was prosperous in every way. I'm not just talking about money. Prosperity is not only talking about money, what many people think. Prosperity, you know, is for you to be good and healthy in your relationships, good and healthy in your body, you know that you can be a good father, good mother, you know, and you have you know, can raise your children well. That's all good prosperity, you know. And that and so, you know, it's a different study that I want to get into, but man, I'm telling you, man, I am blessed with the blessing of Abraham, and I want everything that Abraham had as well, you know, excluding the slave. Because my wife will, she will kick me. Amen. So I don't want Hagar Hagar, you know, but I want you know the facets in which he was prosperous, you know, being fruitful, multiplication, being protected, you know, being blessed, you know, having cattles, having finances, having people, you know, to do the work that needed to be done, you know, as a wife that loves amen. He was prosperous, man. He was prosperous. Why? Because God's blessing was blessed, was placed on his life, and I have the same blessing now in Christ Jesus, amen. So I'm not teaching on the blessing of Abraham because then I will teach like various episodes. I'm just saying that that is also a part of the spiritual blessing that we now have received in Christ Jesus. So in Christ Jesus, I am blessed with the blessing of Abraham, amen. And so another spiritual blessing is that we now have become a new man. I have become a new creation in Christ Jesus, because I was born again. You see, in John 3.3 and John 3.5, you know, Jesus says to Nicodemus, he says, Listen, if someone is not born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Is one if one is not born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God, because that what is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. And so, you know, in Christ Jesus, I am born again. In Christ Jesus, I became a new man, I became a new creation. And so I'm reading from Ephesians 1, but let's go to Ephesians 2 quickly here. In Ephesians 2, here it says in verse 14, he says, He himself is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in his flesh the enmity, that is the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in himself one new man from the two, thus making peace. And so I am a new man, because Christ made me a new man. You know, can read about it in Romans 6. I really would encourage you to read the whole chapter of Romans 6, you know, how we are died to sin, how we are buried with Christ, we are risen with Christ, you know, how our we died to our sin nature, how we are now a new man, you know, and that we will live his life, you know, that we that is now that we rose with him, not in our old man, but we rose in our new man with him. And so there's a lot of stuff, you know, and um we became a new man because we believed in our heart and we confessed with our mouths. Romans 10:8 says that if we believe in our hearts, you know, that um I don't know if it's verse 8, but somewhere around earth Romans 8, 10, verse 8, 9, 10, you know, it says that if we believed in our hearts, you know, that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and he rose again, and we confess with our mouths that we will be saved. So it says, Because with your heart you believe unto righteousness, and with your mouth you confess unto salvation. And so because I am saved and I've become I've been made righteous, I've become a new creation in Christ Jesus. Because anyone who is in Christ Jesus is a new creation, something that was never before. All things have been passed away, has been done with. Behold, all things have become new. Where in my born-again spirit I am now a new man, a new person, a new creation. It's part of the spiritual blessing that I've received in Christ Jesus, that I'm no longer the old stinking man, that I was the sinner before I met Jesus, but now I'm something new, that is holy, that is pure, that is blameless, that is righteous before God in love. Man, that's a mouthful, but that's beautiful, you know. And so I can be like that because as he is, now I am also in Christ Jesus in this world. And 1 John 4 17 says, as he is, so are we in this world. So look what it says in Ephesians 4. He says that we put off concerning the former conduct, verse 22, um, the former conduct, the old man, which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lust, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man. Which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. So I'm created again into the image of God. You know, I was dead in before the fall of man in the garden, but now Jesus has come to restore that. So now I have been made a new man again. I have been made a new creation because I have been born as a sinner. And so that sin nature has been pulled out by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. And then I have become, I have been created again into the image of God in true righteousness and true holiness. I am created in true holiness and true righteousness, man. You are too in Christ Jesus. And so now I have this nature of God in Christ Jesus. That's one of the spiritual blessings that He has blessed me with. That I've now put on, I can put on by the renewal of my mind, I can put on this new nature that I now have received in Christ Jesus. Man, this is so beautiful, beautiful. I'm no longer what I was. That old man and his old nature and all of his trespasses has been done away with. And so, you know, the power of the law, the power of sin, the power of Satan, the power of whatever has been broken in my life. He has loosed my chains, he has taken off my shekels, and now I am free. Hallelujah. I am free in Christ Jesus, and so I am a new creation. If God looks at me, what he sees is his son. Because I am with Christ, hidden in God. It's no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. I have become holy, pure, and righteous before him. Everything has become new. And you know, the good thing of this blessing is that I am highly secured. I am highly secured. In Ephesians 1 13, it says this. In Ephesians 1 13 says, In him you also trusted after you heard the word of truth, which is the gospel of your salvation, in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of my inheritance, because I am an heir, so I have an inheritance, and he is my guarantee until the redemption of the purchased possession to the praise of his glory. Man, mouthful, too much is Sharon. Man, but I'm sealed with the Holy Spirit. Sin cannot enter into my spirit again because I'm spirit, soul, and body. My spirit has been sealed. My spirit is holy, pure, blameless. My my spirit is exactly the same nature as God. I have his spirit within me that sealed that nature, and now I cannot be contaminated with sin. I cannot be contaminated with, you know, with the with the with the things of this world in my new nature. My new nature can sin, but it also cannot be contaminated with sin. Now we all know that Christian sins, and that's for a different teaching, you know, but that's talking about your natural carnal man, your flesh, and your soulish man, you know, that still can, you know, uh not walk in the truth that he already is in his spirit, and therefore, you know, he can still make mistakes. But believe me, your nature, your spirit does not want to sin. And your nature cannot sin. He can sin, he never sinned. It's new, it's holy, it's pure, it's blameless, it's righteous. It is the nature of God, and God can sin and it's sealed with the Holy Spirit, so nothing can penetrate, even if you would make a mistake. That's why sin cannot contaminate your nature. That's why sin cannot trouble the way that look God looks at you, because God is spirit and he looks at your spirit, and what he sees is holy, pure, and blameless. What he sees is a nature under the blood of Jesus. What he sees is his son who dwells within you. Now, sin does have consequences, and you're a fool if you live in sin, because you know what you sow is what you reap. Amen. But that's not God who is punishing you, or that's not God looking different at you. That's this one of the blessings of the spiritual blessings that we have received in Christ Jesus, is that God sees me in Christ Jesus. Man, that's powerful stuff, man. I'm already through with my time, but I'm a temple of the Holy Spirit, and the resurrection power is within me. I'm a fellow citizen with all the saints in Christ Jesus, you know, and I am being built, you know, as a building, you know, where God, Jesus is the head and I am the body. I'm a citizen of heaven, man, and I've got a hopeful future. And so there are so many, many other spiritual blessings that I can share on, you know. But please, I want to encourage you to go in these studies yourself, go into the word of God and study what all those spiritual blessings are and what that means for your life and how you can walk in it. You know, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 1 20, all the promises of God are in him, yes, and in him, amen, to the glory of God through us. So all of his promises, all the spiritual blessings that we have received in Christ Jesus in heavenly places, there are yes, it is so. Amen. Yes. It let it become manifest in my life in Christ Jesus so that God can be glorified in and through my life. Amen. So, man, I love you. God loves you even more, and I hope you were blessed. And I'm gonna see you in the next episode of One Gospel. God bless you. Bye-bye.
