Welcome to One Gospel, bringing you the full truth of God's Word. Clearly explained. Together with our host, Johann Tuit, we'll unpack scripture to understand what's written and grow as a disciple of Christ. Ready to take notes? Let's open the Bible. Hi there, and welcome to today's episode of One Gospel. I'm your host, Johan Tut, and as always, I am excited to share the Word of God with you. And so I've started this series called In Christ, the I am. I am in Christ. Whoever God says that I am and I have in Christ, whoever God, whatever God says I have, and I can do in Christ, whatever God says that I can do, because He is not a man that He should lie. Amen. Man, and then we shared some amazing things. We I've shared, you know, I've started in Ephesians 1, you know, and from those verses because it really describes really good and really clear who we are in Christ and what we have in Christ, and you know, and all those things. And so, you know, I really started from there and it was really amazing. I've been blessed by it, you know. I know that I am holy by you know Ephesians 1, uh verse 2, it says, you know, to the saints and the faithful, the the believers, you know, in Christ Jesus, you know, I'm holy in Christ Jesus because he is holy, I'm holy. It's Christ who now dwells within me. And if I wouldn't be, you know, holy, then the Holy Spirit couldn't dwell within me. Amen. I couldn't be a temple of the Holy Spirit because he is a holy spirit, amen. And so, and also, you know, that it says that we are who are the belief the believers, the faithful in Christ, the saints in Christ Jesus, that the grace of God and the peace of God is for us. And so, you know, I've shared on the grace of God and I've shared on the peace of God, you know, and it was impossible to cover everything concerning those topics, you know, because there's so much to share on. And so, but now we have peace with God, and the God of peace is with us, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. God's my hearts and my minds, my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus, you know, and you know, it's the peace that is Christ's peace. It's not the peace of the world, it's not the peace that we can create for ourselves, which is a pseudo-peace. No, it's the real peace, the peace of Jesus, the peace of Christ. He says, Because I have given you my no my peace I leave you. Not as the world gives, I give to you. I leave you my peace. And so his peace now he has given to me, his peace is within me, and I can make a choice every day whether I'm gonna stay in his peace or I'm gonna stay in my circumstances and in the world. But if I decide to stay in him and in his peace, you know, then this peace that surpasses all understanding will guard my hearts and my minds in Christ Jesus. And so that's really beautiful. And then I went on to uh Ephesians 1 verse 3, where it says that we that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. And so I started to cover a few of those uh spiritual blessings. There are way too many to cover because I don't know, hundreds, maybe thousands are in the Bible, promises and blessings of the Lord that now are yes and amen in Christ Jesus to the glory of God within us. And so, you know, I've shared the most obvious blessings, how we now have become children of the living God in whom he's well pleased, how we have become a temple of the Holy Spirit that has sealed us, you know, so that we couldn't be contaminated with sin anymore. He protects our new nature in Christ Jesus, you know, and he is our guarantee for the day to the day of redemption. And so, you know, um I've shared on how we are now have become heirs of the kingdom of God and what that means, and that we also are blessed with the blessing of Abraham and what that means. And so I've covered a lot of stuff, I've been through a lot of beautiful things, and so today I just want to continue, you know, from Ephesians to look at another aspect which is which basically covers all the other things that I've been covering, and it's really, really important for us to get to this. And so, Father God, thank you for your word, thank you for your teaching, and thank you, Lord, that uh people are gonna be blessed by it in the name of Jesus. I give you all the glory, amen. Amen. And so, you know, um, I want to read, I want to continue to read from Ephesians, but then I want to read apart from the amplified. So I'm gonna use my phone for that for a moment, so please forgive me for that. But here it says in Ephesians 1, verse 3, it says, May blessing, praise, laudation, and eulogy be to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual given by the Holy Spirit blessing in the heavenly realms. Even as in his love he choose us, actually picked us out for himself as his own man, I'm handpicked by God in Christ, before the foundations of the world, that we should be holy, consecrated, and set apart for him, and blameless in his sight, even above reproach before him in love. For he forordained us, he destined us, planned in love for us, to be adopted, to be revealed as his own children through Jesus Christ, in according with the purpose of his will, because it pleased him and was his kind intent, so that we might be to the praise and the commendation of his glorious grace, favor, and mercy which he so freely bestowed upon us in the beloved. Man, I'm telling you, it's a mouthful, and there's a lot to share on this. But you know, as I said, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. We have predestined, handpicked, chosen, and accepted by God, so that we could be blameless before him in love. And he did that in Christ Jesus, his son. Through his blood, we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sin, according to the riches of his grace. Amen. And so this is only this is already like a million reasons for you to wake up every morning, you know. It's only this is like already like, you know, it's the only reason you need to wake up in the morning with a with a smile on your face. Man, I am who God says I am, and I am all these things that I just mentioned. It's amazing. You can have such a bad relationship with your early daddy, you know. I mean, I had one, you know, it became good, he became my friend in the end, but you know, it could be like my whole lifetime instead of, you know, just in the last few months. Amen. So I'm so thankful for the last few months, but nevertheless, you know. So I know what it is to have a bad relationship with your father, you know, and that he doesn't, you know, always give you the greatest example in your life, you know, uh, on how it's supposed to be. But then God makes everything right, right. He makes everything good. He makes everything good, he chooses you, he predestined you, he handpicked you, he loves you, he is well pleased in you. You know, he he destined and preordained you, man. I mean, it's powerful, it's powerful, and he did that to the good pleasure of his will, amen. And so, thank you, Father, for your glorious grace. Just say that for a moment. Thank you, Father, for your glorious grace. Hallelujah. And so God has bestowed us now with his favor and his mercy, because that's what we read in the Amplified, you know, and it says in the New King James Version, it says, let me just quickly go there in Ephesians 1 again, and so it says here that he made us accept it in the beloved. Now, this made us accept it, this word accepted. You know, if you look that up in the Greek, it's karato, and karato is only used two times in the Bible. Two times. There are two locations where this word karato, this word accepted, has been used. Now, and this is gonna blow your mind, I'm telling you. The first time it is used in Luke, where the angel appeared to Mary, and I'm gonna read it for you, but I'm also gonna read it from the amplified, and then I'm gonna read it from the New King James Version, but he only used that, it's only been used in uh the moment that the angel appeared to appear to Mary, and it has been used for you and for me, who are now accepted in the beloved. And I'm gonna tell you what that word means. So let's go to Luke 1.26. Now, in the sixth month, oh let me just le let me just read it from the amplified. Sorry. Now in the sixth month after that, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town Galilee named Nazareth, to a girl never having been married, and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and he said, Hail, O favored one, endued with grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed, favor of God are you before all other women. But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said, and kept revolving in her mind what such greeting could mean. And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace, free, spontaneous, and absolute favor and loving kindness with God. And listen, you will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. Man, this is huge, but a word here where it says, You are highly favored, one, you highly favored one, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you. If you look at this word highly favored in Luke 128, yes, in Luke 1, Luke 128, it says, highly favored, this is made us accept it. The same word. You look it up, it's carito. That's what it means. Only here it's used, and then it's used in Ephesians 1.6. Now just just think about it. Because this is huge. I mean, this is truly huge from all the women in the world, and I mean there are a lot of women, you know. Thank God that he changed the law, and we only are allowed to have one, because two one is already a headache, two would be like a migraine, you know. I'm just kidding, man. I love my wife so much, but man, I'm telling you, there's a lot of women in the world, but he just choose her. She was the only one that was considered um good enough, was considered uh appropriate as the surrogate mother for Jesus. Can you imagine that? Of all the women in the world, only she was appropriate to be the surrogate mother of Jesus. And that's like mind-blowing, right? I mean, really, really mind-blowing. And so he came to her and he said, Hell, oh favored one, endued with grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed, favored of God are you before all other women. No, to be blessed by God is to be favored by God. And the the good thing is, you know, man, I've got so much to share on this. Okay, but let me just try to focus. Grace means favor, because grace is unmerited favor. So you don't buy your favor, you don't deserve your favor, you don't work for your favor. It is unmerited. You don't deserve it, but you're gonna get it anyway. That's what grace means. So grace means unmerited favor. You get favor for something that you didn't deserve. You get favor in your life, but you didn't deserve to get favor, but still you got it because it's unmerited favor. Man, that's amazing. And so Mary had this amazing favor with God. It says here in verse 30 the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Man, can you imagine that? That you have found favor with God. Well, the same word that has been used to tell Mary, listen, you are highly favored among all the other women. You are highly favored among all the other women on this planet. Highly favored among them. You have the favor of God. You are blessed, you are favored among all the other women in this planet. That same favor, that same word carito, we are now made accepted in the beloved and favored with the same favor, the same favor that has been bestowed upon us in the beloved. That's the favor that Mary received to give birth to Jesus. Man, that is mind-blowing. I am now highly favored among all the other men on this planet, among all the people that don't know Jesus, among all the other people that have not a personal relationship with the Lord and know him and are born again. I am highly favored, far above them. You know, and that's not to boast. It's unmerited favor. I got it, but I didn't deserve it. Man, that's that's powerful, man. I am favored and I have now the favor of God. I am indued with grace and I'm highly favored of God. And you can say that of yourself. I am in Christ, indued with grace, with grace, and I am in Christ highly favored, not just favored, highly favored. Hallelujah. Man, that's amazing. I've got the favor of God. So when we were born again, we have been placed, we have been transferred into the kingdom of his son, Colossians 1:13. And I have been placed back into the garden, and now the garden is also in me. And it says in Luke 17, 21 that the kingdom of God is in me, and I am now in the kingdom of God. And so I'm in the garden, and the garden is in me. I don't say that the garden is the kingdom, but the garden is a picture of the kingdom, amen. It's a picture of heaven, and so you know, the kingdom, heaven is within me, and I'm in heaven. I'm in heaven. I don't know if you know that song. You know, but in the kingdom, there is no lack. There is no lack in the kingdom, there is no shortage in the kingdom, there's no poverty in the kingdom, there is no need in the kingdom, there is no addiction in the kingdom, there is no sickness in the kingdom, there is no pain in the kingdom. Man, there is no death in the kingdom. And in my spirit, because 1 Thessalonians 5:26 says that I have spirit, soul, and body, I am a spirit, I'm a soul, and I have a body, and my spirit is already there now. Now I just want to let that fly over for a moment. You and I in Christ Jesus, in the spirit, are already in heavenly places, we are already in the kingdom of God, and we are already in the garden, and the garden is in us, the kingdom of God is in us, the heaven is in us. I'm right there right now. And say, Amen. I don't know about that. Well, let us see what the word of God says, amen. So let's go to John 14. Let's go quickly to John 14. He says in verse 1, let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mentions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also. Now I always thought, you know, that Jesus said, Listen, I'm gonna go there, I'm gonna prepare some rooms for you, I'm gonna make the bed, and then I come back, you're gonna die, and I'm gonna pick you up, and you're gonna come with me, and we're going back to heaven. That's what I thought, you know. But Jesus prepared a place for us. He needed to do something, he needed to die, and he needed to be buried, and then for three after three days, he needed to rose rise again, and then he needed to ascend it into heaven, you know, and then you know the work needed to be done and needed to be finished for him to prepare the place so that we could come, we could be where he is, and that we could be through the spirit by our born-again experience. Because he says in verse 20, he says, Um, no, let's let's say in verse 18, he says, I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you a little while longer, and the world will see me no more, but you will see me, because I live, you will live also. So they were spiritually dead at that moment. He says, At that day you will know that I am in my father, and you are in me, and I am in you. On which day? On the day that they received the Holy Spirit, on the day that they became a temple of the Holy Spirit, on the day that they become became born again Christians, that they became children of the living God, and that we can see in John 20. In John 20, this is the moment when Jesus appears to them after he rose from the dead, and then it says here in verse 20, um, let's say in verse 22, and when he had said to this, he breathed. So let me just say verse 21, I'm sorry, back up. So Jesus said to them again, peace to you, as the Father has sent me, I also send you. And when he has said this, he breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. You you couldn't receive the Holy Spirit before Jesus died because uh it wasn't finished yet. We were still sinners, and then the Holy Spirit could not be in you, but as I shed on, we are now holy because we because Christ can dwell in us, because he made us holy by his death and his resurrection. He made us holy by his sacrifice, by his blood that he poured out on the altar of the living God, and by his finished work at the cross. So by him I am now holy, and because that I can receive the Holy Spirit. And so this is what happened here. He breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit. They couldn't, but now they can. And on that day you will know that I am in my Father, and my Father is in me, and I'm in you, and you are in me. And so now I am in Christ, and Christ is within me because I have become a temple of the Holy Spirit, right? And so Jesus went and prepared this place for me, and now He has prepared this place for me. He says here in John 14, then I will come back. He says, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself. I receive you to myself, so that where I am, you may be also. There you may be also. Where I am, there you may be also. So we all know that Christ lives within me. Galatians 2 20 says that I have been crucified with Christ, and no longer I live, but Christ lives in me. We all know that. But then, you know, um he says, I will not leave you orphans, I will not leave you orphans. Verse 18 of John 14, I will come to you, and in verse 20, that day you will know that I am in my father and you are in me, and I'm in you. Now let's go to Ephesians 2. I told you this is gonna blow your mind. Ephesians 2. In Ephesians 2, verse 6 it says that he raised us up together, because in Romans 6 we can read that we have been died, that we died with Christ, we have been buried with Christ, and we rose again with him, so that we can also walk in the newness of life, you know, and we have we have risen with with with Christ, with our with a new life, not with an old life. He said he raised up, raised us up together and made us, made is like past tense, made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So I am now, as we speak, seated in Christ, in the heavenly places. And now, as we speak, Christ is seated also in me. Man, that's beautiful. I am right there now. You are in your spirit right there now. Man, because of the favor of God, because of the goodness of God, we have now royal blood, and we have lawfully, rightfully gained access to the kingdom of God and to the things of the kingdom of God, to the garden. So I am now in the kingdom and the kingdom is within me. Luke 17, 21. I am now in the garden, and the garden is within me, because Jesus restored everything, and the way is free to eat from the tree of life. Amen. And so, and I am now seated with him in heavenly places, and he is also seated within me here on this planet. That's why he says it's better for me to go when I go, I can send the Holy Spirit who can be within you, and he will be with you and within you forever. John uh seven, uh John 14, verse 17, 16 and 17. And so by his spirit, Jesus now dwells within me. I've got the fullness of God within me. In Christ Jesus, I have the fullness of God dwelling within me. And so, you know, I have access to all these amazing things, also, like the Zoe life that Christ has given me. In 1 John 5 11, it says this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son does not have life. And so this eternal life, this everlasting life that you know um God is speaking about in his word here in 1 John 5.11, but also in John 3.16. That word, you know, uh we can read about it in John 17.3, is that we know the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, whom He has sent, but it's translated this eternal life in Greek with Zoe, which means spiritual and everlasting life. Spiritual and everlasting life. Now, it lacks me the time to share on you know what this everlasting life is, and I will do that when I'm gonna start to share on my series one basics, but just for you to know that I have and you have in Christ Jesus spiritual and everlasting eternal life in Christ Jesus. We can be forever in the presence of God, you know, and we have this spiritual life in Christ Jesus. We didn't have any spiritual life before Christ Jesus, we had a natural, carnal, sensory life, but now we have a spiritual life because we are seated with him through the spirit in heavenly places, and he is within us. Amen. And so, man, this is amazing. So the favor of God, you know, has given you spiritual and eternal life, and because of that life, we can know the Father. John 17 3. This is eternal life, that they may know you. So we now, by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, because of we are favored, highly favored of God, we can now know God as our father. 2 Corinthians 6 18, he says, I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons, and you will be my daughters. And so, you know, I can know him as my father. That's why I was predestined, that's why I was chosen, that's why I was accepted in the beloved, that's why I am now highly favored, so I can have a relationship, I can have intimacy with my heavenly father. Man, this is powerful. This is powerful. You know, in John 10 10, Jesus says that the enemy only comes to kill, steal, and destroy. In this, you reverse to uh religion and legalism, which is inspirated by the enemy. You know, we all know that. And so, but he says that the enemy only comes to kill, steal, and destroy. But I have come that they may have life, which means uh that they may have Zoe life, eternal spiritual life, everlasting life and spiritual life. So he has come so that we may have this life, this spiritual life now within him, and have that more abundantly or in abundance. And so in my next episode, I will continue on what that uh means. But man, I'm telling you it's gonna really bless you and you know it's gonna blow your socks off, you know, when you know what it means to have life and abundance in Christ Jesus. Amen. So I really I mean, I've got so much to share. I just I hope you guys got blessed, and I'm hope to see you again in the next episode of One Gospel. God bless you. I love you, and I hope to see you next time. Bye-bye. Thanks for tuning in to One Gospel. If this message encouraged you, be sure to share it with your friends so they can be blessed too.
