Distance is not always disconnection.

Sometimes, distance is the way the body protects what has already been through too much.
Sometimes, distance is the clearest form of care available.

Distance is Care is an ambient sound piece that does not try to bring you closer to anything.
It does not ask you to reconnect, resolve, or return.

It simply allows space.

This piece is created for moments when closeness feels overwhelming,
 when presence needs room,
when stepping back is not avoidance—but wisdom.

The sound moves gently, without direction or demand.
There is no path to follow.
 No outcome to reach.

You are allowed to listen from a distance.
You are allowed to let this remain in the background.
You are allowed to turn it off at any time.

This is not about pushing through.
This is not about opening before your body is ready.

This is about honoring the space that makes staying possible.

If your system needs distance,
 that distance is not failure.

It is care.
