I want to start today by painting a scene for you. And I want you to really sink into it. It's early morning, you get up ready for work, on the way to the car, you step in a mud puddle, and your pants and shoes are soaked and filthy. You get in the car and it's filled with smoke. It's a little hard to see and think. You continue going to work, and as soon as you walk in the door, you shake hands with the coworker, and they had sticky red sauce all over them. And now it's all over your hands and it's all over your shirt. You walk into your office or your room, and that smoke is back. But now it's thick. You can't see. You can't breathe. Then more coworkers come in, and every time you exchange handshakes or conversations or even thoughts, you lose any fuel you had left to continue maneuvering through the rest of that mud and smoke and gunk. You become tired, drained, and because you're tired, you are now absorbing at a faster rate whatever ick the people you interacted with were holding on to. And it's filling into your system. My point being, there really isn't any mud or sauce or smoke or anything visually that got exchanged throughout your day. But the feelings, the aura, the words that you spoke and received, the thoughts that you exchanged, they all hold energy. And you can't see it. And that energy affects how we move and what we feel if we are unconscious to it. And this is also true for our kids who are even more susceptible to it. The good, the bad, the ugly, it's constantly being transferred between us. Constantly. Each and every person, and each and every space we enter. Don't forget about spaces, they hold energy. We are exchanging our energy with it all. We are constantly altering our state based on where we go and who or what we interact with. And when you really sit and think about it, it's incredible how little we focus on the energy we give and take with each and every interaction. Each and every day. Each and every minute. And I'm not trying to make anybody crazy by overthinking about it or by becoming an energetic germaphobe. I'm just trying to bring an understanding of what is happening behind the scenes so we can better cleanse and better reset and control our systems and our environment. We direct energy. We are not victim to it. Unless we are unconscious of it. Then it's actually quite easy to fall victim to it and get easily pushed around by it. And this is so important to teach our kids. You know, kids live in that energetic world. They are way more in tune than many of us, and they are a lot more sensitive and affected by the energetic side of a situation. A lot of us might not even realize we have this energetic world running in the background at all times. It's a whole world by itself. And not only do we not give it much attention, but we fail to realize that what's happening in that energetic world is usually the cause of any imbalance we are faced with here in the present. It's the energy that shapes the experiences we have. The energy is our blueprint. All we see and experience in the physical is an outcome of the energy. And so, if we can control the energy, we can control the experience and vice versa. And I think it's something we can be more proactive about. And it's something that we should be teaching our children about, at least a little, so they can grow up and better manage their energy and better manage what they're feeling and better direct their thoughts, so they can create a future and a present moment where they feel balanced and happy as much as possible, no matter what's going on around them. So, how is it that we can have more of a say in what we're feeling and thinking more consistently? That's the key is how can I feel this way? Happy, balanced, relaxed, whatever it is, more consistently. We talk about emotions all the time. They come and they go. They teach us, they inspire us. We need and like emotions. They're our friend. And with this perspective, whether our emotions are actually pleasant or unpleasant, befriending them and feeling into them helps us understand them so they work for us like they're meant to do. Is there a way we can use our emotions to listen to the energy that is present? Because when we are able to feel our emotions and learn where they come from, we can learn to stop those that are not serving us and better feed ourselves those that do. And this is the mental side of training our mind to connect to our emotions, which will create our experience. When we are mindful and truthful, that's a big one, with ourselves, and we take responsibility for what we are feeling, and responsibility for the way we are experiencing a situation, this is when we become creators of our reality. We become harmonized and balanced and in charge. We direct that smoke, mud, ick. We have a say if it enters or even exists in our world. We are able to use the energy of any situation to consciously create environments within us, emotionally and mentally, and around us by what we're projecting and our intentions to suit our needs. But we can only do this if we are aware of it, if we intentionally direct it, if let's say the environment that I just stepped into is not suiting my needs? How can I produce my own energy? How can I transmute energy that is making me feel icky? How can I use these not so pleasant feelings to teach me and therefore become a friend? How can I protect my energy? How can I reset my energy? The answer is well, one answer. One of my favorite, quickest, easiest, we like easy, fun, energetic starter packets, drum roll is, energy bubbles. I love teaching the energy bubble technique to adults and kids. This is something we can all do for ourselves, and we can teach our children how to do it as well. It's also very bonding if you do it with your kids. So just like we physically brush our teeth and shower before or after a long day, we should be doing something energetically as well. If we want to be clean. If we want to feel more balanced, if we want to be in charge of our energy and in charge of our nervous system. Energy bubbles are nothing more than a visualization and an embodiment of whatever intention you are wanting or needing. You might very commonly hear, surround yourself with white light. That's a common one. But why? How does it work? Does it really even do anything? In my opinion, yes, it does work. Energy bubbles are one of the easiest ways to be more mindful and in charge of your energy. The aura and the energy that surrounds us is nothing new. There has been an understanding of this for centuries and even longer. We can read about this all throughout history, all throughout esoteric studies. Places such as India and China, even Greece, have records of studying the aura that reach as far back as 1500 BC, and that's just what we have written. Hieroglyphics can take us even further back. But how does it work and why do we care? Well, it starts with the auric field we have surrounding our physical body. That's what we just spoke about. And it's the aura that's a reflection of what's happening in the physical body. It's connected to the nervous system, which can be thought of as the brain of our energetic state. We have an energetic body and a physical body, and they work together. The problem is most of us only pay attention to the physical. But in order for us to be balanced, we need to work with both the physical and the energetic. And the way to work with the energetic is to grow our awareness of the auric field around us, hence the energy around us. And by bringing awareness to it and using our intentions and our emotions to fully feel into it and fully embody it, we can then either direct it or read it to gain information. And I'm going to go really into this because I think it's worth discussing and giving you the tools for. But when you hear me or others talk about the piece of visualizing, with anything, not just energy bubbles, this one step is really for me the step that allows us to embody and therefore move the energy. Because when you take the effort to visualize, because it does involve effort, you've invested energy. Therefore, you're fueling that visualization. You're charging it. That's why we add that visualize piece. You're not just thinking about your intention, you're adding a layer by visualizing. You're adding that charge and you're adding fuel to propel that thing into reality, into form. So visualizing and intention are the biggest drivers when working with our nervous system, which again is the brain for our energy. Or on the receptive end, we can become sensitive enough to allow our emotions and that energy that runs through us to give us information. I'm feeling this way because this is happening. So now I can look at it and work with it, for example. So we want to both project and receive on not only a physical level, but on an energetic level. Some are about projecting energy or thoughts, some are about being receptive and intaking. So today we're going to touch on protection, cleansing, charging or relaxing, and connecting, sending energy. First up, let's talk about protection. I actually have a really great episode on In a Spiritual Sense. It's called Help Me Protect My Energy. I will put the link in the show notes. And this is a great episode that I think goes hand in hand with what we've been talking about today. I definitely get into the mental side of things and how our perspective acts as a form of protection. But in regards to energy bubbles, this is where you often hear people talk about surrounding themselves with white light. And so what we're doing here is simply placing an intention that we want our energy to work for us and stay protected and centered in us. Whatever you want to say or think, express that. But make sure you are wording or thinking with positive language. For example, instead of saying, please don't let my energy leak out. Please don't let me become involved in other people's energy. That's the negative side of it. Instead, state what you want to actively happen, such as, spirit, source, God, angels, whoever you pray to. I ask that you help protect my energy as I move throughout my day. Please help me hold on to that which serves me and dispel or reject that which does not. It's important to start reshaping our speech and thoughts in that positive way. So we ask, we visualize, and we feel into it. You can bring colors into it if you feel in tune with that. I won't get too much into it right now, but there's a lot of color theory when we start discussing energy. Each color has a wavelength, therefore vibrates, for one, with our chakra system, and they can help you embody and heal in different ways. White is essentially the presence of all visible colors when speaking in terms of wavelength. So that's why, in my opinion, it's considered godlike or source-like. Because when you are completely balanced and all auric energy is bright and centered, essentially you would have white. So white is the best overall color that you will probably hear most about. It's very high in vibration, the highest in vibration, and it's always a good choice to bring into our auric field. So this is why we can surround ourselves with that white, bright energy bubble for not only protection, but pretty much for anything. And this is where your intention matters, because your intention will direct the purpose of it. So before you start your day or before your kids go to school, practice a small three-minute routine where you take a few breaths that will help you ground, and say or think what you want and embody it. Keep breathing as you envision what you want and help your kids do so. And I like to continue checking in on this throughout the day. For example, when I walk down the hall to school, I know I'm about to be interacting with a lot of people. So I will check in to remind myself that I do in fact have an energy bubble present. Sometimes I'll practice looking through my bubble and imagining I can see through it like a piece of glass between me and others. Anything that can cause you to feel or think about separating yourself from your environment is really the key here. And it will help keep you and your kids in more control of that energy you're moving through. So just keep reminding yourself it's there throughout the day, and eventually it will turn into a habit. Or it will be a quick tool you can pull up if, let's say, you forgot to do it before you leave the house. So protection, blocking, or shielding, it's all the same. Now, cleansing. Again, it's all about the intention. And real quick, I also want to throw out one more episode that you might be interested in that's all about the stuff we're talking about today. Again, it's from In a Spiritual Sense, and it's called energetically speaking. Again, I'll put it in the show notes, but the cool thing about energy is that it's very tied to our imagination. I keep saying our intention is what directs the energy, but the way we move it, the way we envision it healing or protecting or cleansing is directly tied to imagination. So that's why there's not a right or wrong way to do any of this. It's just about the act of visualizing the movement of it. It's about feeling in charge. It's about feeling it change, and visualizing helps us feel. So for cleansing, you can simply make a new energy bubble that perhaps you step into when you get home or when you get in the shower or the car, and you can let your imagination lead you from there. Maybe you envision that white light filling you up and transforming all the dirt from your day into gold. Maybe you want to envision that white light pushing out any dirt from the day, and it rinses down the drain. The sky's the limit. Your body and spirit know how to do this. It's just about bringing awareness to it needing to be done. Depending on your intention, maybe we bring color back into it. I actually use black for protection. So I got into a black bubble and I treat it almost like a cloak, and my white light is filled up on the inside. Regarding cleansing, maybe you want to fill yourself up with green. That's the color of heart energy. Maybe you want to use pink or yellow. See what feels good to you and make up your own system. Whatever your imagination teaches you is the direction you want to go. So protecting, cleansing, releasing. Maybe you're low on energy and you want to fuel yourself. This is great for using that white light straight from source energy. Or I like to use yellow for this because it matches with your solar chakra, which is all about production and motivation and creativity. So again, come up with something that works for you. Imagine yourself in that white or yellow bubble as you start to feel tired. Imagine it coming straight from above your head, down in your body, or straight from the earth up into your feet. It works both ways, whether it be the sky or the earth. See what feels more in tune with you and imagine that fueling energy filling you and surrounding you. Also, with this one, a lot of times when we're tired, don't forget to check in with your mental movies and maybe reflect back on your day or your night. Have you been giving away your energy too much? Have you not been proactive with protecting yourself? Remember the story of all that smoke and mud? Are we allowing things to take from us? Because a lot of times these are the things that make us tired. Even playing with our kids or just being around kids all day. We have to remember to refuel ourselves. Gotta fill that gas tank back up. And also, tapping back into the physical, sometimes we just have to be better about actually physically resting as well. I know it's hard when we're busy and we have schedules, but just remember true rest is also fuel. And we likely need it more than we realize. So this is where we create boundaries. We can't forget about that. Back to the energetic. You can also send energy bubbles to others or to your kids. Maybe your child is feeling anxious, whether they are with you or maybe at school. You can send them energy bubbles to heal or relax or comfort them. I'm telling you, this one is gold. It's nothing more than sending a prayer, but it gives again a visualization and a movement to it as you pray, as you proclaim and direct what you want to happen. The energy bubble itself just creates another layer of support, again on the energetic side of the situation, which helps manifest the physicality of that situation, the outcome of that situation. So if your child maybe has a big test one day or a big presentation, continue sending them energy throughout the day or around the time of that event. Imagine a bubble emerging from your heart and traveling to theirs. Again, use your creativity. To create something that feels right to you. Send them a nice calm blue for relaxing. Maybe it's not colors that you're sending, but just words. Send them confidence. Maybe think of a tiger or a lion. Imagery works as well. And send it to their heart or to their stomach to help them feel more powerful. Their spirit is connected to yours, and they will subconsciously feel your support. Just recently we went bowling, and my little three-year-old niece came. And it was the first time she had been to any type of arcade, loud, crowded area. Lights were flashing, there were TV screens everywhere, and she hardly even interacts with screens as it is. And poor little thing, I could feel her sweet little presence just becoming very overstimulated. And she was fine. But I could just tell it was a lot. And again, kids being so open, and she's so young. I, as an adult, thought about this energy bubble technique. And this is actually why I thought of this episode. But I really nonchalantly just sent her some protection, a little bubble for her to play in, and it at least made me feel better on behalf of her. So sending energy bubbles of love, confidence, protection is something that we can all do on behalf of others as well. However, one thing I want to bring up for us to do is to make sure that we are checking in with our energy if we notice our children are specifically getting anxious or upset about something. Like back when I spoke about sending your child confidence or calming energy if they're not with you. Anxiety is one I see a lot between parent and child in school. You know, the classic, my kid doesn't want to go to school and I have to tear them off of me just to get them out of the car. Don't worry, I was actually one of those kids. I went through a phase where I didn't want to leave mom and I would scream until the daycare teachers pulled me off of her. And I've seen it in my class as well. And this is just my observation, but those kids who had a hard time letting go, their parents were also very stressed and anxious about letting them go. And the parents were even open to me about it. They told me, yeah, well, I'm just at home worried about them all day, or before I have to drop them off, I start getting anxious. Yes, this is why your child is feeling this way. It might have originally stemmed from something within them, but as a parent, if we are overworried or stressed, we're feeding that to our kids, and they will not feel confident to move forward. First of all, kids are so resilient, and they usually have such a short-term memory. They are so present with life, they really do live in the moment and move on quickly after episodes. I see it all day long. If they're feeling sad or upset, I'm telling you, as soon as they get in the class, they have already moved on. So that's just a little background from my perspective as a teacher, but make sure you're portraying confidence to them to help them do so as well. And make sure you're centered before you send energy. That was my point. And last note on sending energy. When sending energy bubbles, just remember whatever type of energy you send or project grows inside you three times as much. Here's a little esoteric tip for you. So let's say you're out in public and you want to send energy. Always have good intentions towards others, because it only goes back to affecting you. I think I get into the background of this more on in a spiritual senses energetically speaking episode, if you're interested in the science and philosophy of that type of stuff. But lastly, I want to touch on using bubbles to connect to others or maybe your guides or your higher self. When I connect specifically with my angel, I like to imagine myself inside a blue energy bubble. Because blue is about communication. It's connected to the throat chakra. And what's cool about this is I also use the bubble technique when connecting to my guides and angels because it helps me feel safe. Again, I'm containing my energy inside of an auric space that, according to my intention, is not only opening me up to communicate, but also protecting me while I do so. If that's not your thing, I also use bubbles for connecting with my higher self as well. We all have a higher self, that part of our spirit that sees above all the mundane, sees the big picture, knows how to help guide and comfort us. This is great for kids because we're keeping the power within them. We can teach them that whenever you feel confused or sad or hurt, maybe go create a little bubble to cancel out all of that noise, feel safe, and have their spirit give them advice. Maybe they're at home and they're bored. Remember when we talked about that? Have them go sit in an energy bubble that is rainbow and sparkly and see if it sparks their creativity. You can use these bubbles for any intention. And they really help focus our energy for a specific purpose. So by simply thinking about this, everything we talked about today, by simply bringing it into your awareness or into your kids' awareness, you've already made a shift. You're already more in charge. You already have more of a say, and you're learning more of that emotional regulation and sharpening your intuition and overall health and well-being. And so are your kids. And if you're really interested, I'll give you some homework. I'm such a teacher. Your homework is to practice the energy bubble technique in traffic. Take it to the road. It is the best place to grow self-awareness and shield and protect and open your heart. Counteract any negative feelings by cleansing, blocking, sending love to others who don't show it to you. There's a lot of growth that can happen on the road. And I think most of us use it every day. So it's a great school for us. Good luck.
