Offstage America
Offstage America is Michael Ray like you’ve never heard him before.
No stage lights. No script.
This show lives where real life happens, on the road, on the porch, in the woods, at the table. Michael sits down for honest conversations about the things that actually matter: family, faith, the outdoors, sports, music, mental health, giving back, and what it means to build a life you’re proud of.
Guests range from fellow artists, athletes, celebrities and veterans to everyday Americans with real stories worth hearing. Some you’ll recognize instantly. Others you’ll be glad you met here first.
Michael brings a rare perspective from someone who’s toured nationally, topped charts, lived the highs of success, and still stayed rooted in who he is and where he comes from. That makes the conversations relaxed, unfiltered, and real. The kind of conversations that don’t happen on stage or in interviews.
Offstage America isn’t about hype. It’s about real people. It’s about life off the stage and the stories that shape us when no one’s watching.

Back by the fire for round two, Michael, Brady, and Paul settle in for another anything goes night where the conversation starts loose and only gets wilder from there.
Kickin’ It By The Fire 2 brings the guys right back to what made the first one such a ride...real talk, ridiculous stories, nonstop laughs, and absolutely zero rules. From family, growing up, and life’s everyday chaos to aliens, Nephilim, ancient mysteries, spiritual rabbit holes, and the kind of out there topics that somehow only make sense around a fire, this episode goes everywhere.
It’s unpredictable, hilarious, thought provoking, and feels like being right there in the circle while the night keeps getting later and the conversations keep getting crazier.
Same fire. Same chaos. Even wilder conversations. Here we go again.

Fire away. Yo, what's going on, guys? This is Michael. We are here uh in my backyard. Beautiful night. Around a fire. Just wanted to do a little podcast with Brady.
SPEAKER_06This is all this is like campfire stories.
SPEAKER_01It is, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01This is an actual campfire. Campfire stories. Campfire light.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And it's hot. Y'all, you guys built a uh Hey, what is it? It's a hot show. All stage America. Hope y'all are having a good night, wherever you're at. Um, yeah, we're just sitting here chilling. Watch WrestleMania 1. No, not WrestleMania 1. WrestleMania. Okay. We went back in time, guys. We went way back in time.
SPEAKER_06We technically could watch WrestleMania 1, though. So you know.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's just we can circle the moon, we can go back in time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's true. Do you think that happened? That they went around the moon? Yeah. You know, because people are saying. People are people are not believing it's true. Here's my thing on it, right? Like, who knows? I don't know. I'm not that smart. Not a rocket scientist. Yeah, I I didn't study that. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_04But when you do think about the actual moon landing, there is some odd things. Like landing on the moon. We have there's a few things it makes you, you know, question. And then now it's like, why would it if we're gonna go if we went to it then now with the technology we have, these rockets are parking their self back into their freaking little holders, you know? Yeah, and it's like why can't just go land on the moon and squash the whole and the whole conspiracy, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01And we're still sending space capsules down into the ocean. Like we can't just figure out how to like fly up there and fly back. Like, yeah, I get it's way more complicated than that, but but still, the thing that's real interesting is like the old way is still the best way. If you go based off of, you know, the RS way.
SPEAKER_04What do you mean?
SPEAKER_01The you know, going up in a traditional rocket.
SPEAKER_04Um, I remember being a kid in Florida, dude, and like when the when the um they would take off. We we went solemn in person a couple times, but uh it'd take off when it breaks the sound barrier or whatever, yeah. And I'll sit out there waiting for it. Yeah. So if it did so so it makes more sense that we went to the moon back in the day than it than it does now.
SPEAKER_01No, I no, I'm just saying it's just weird that that's what they decided to do. Oh, that's how we're landing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you're just gonna fall.
SPEAKER_01They're like, yeah, no more space shuttle, even though that thing was, you know, it did blow up twice, so that's not great. Um but the size of these rockets though, yeah.
SPEAKER_06I mean it blew up twice? I know of one time.
SPEAKER_01Uh no, twice. Yeah, yeah, dude. Yeah, because once was in like takeoff decade. And then you had like that school teacher old lady that was on it.
SPEAKER_04But then that's the one I'm thinking of. Then now there's videos going around. Y'all seen this?
unknownUh-huh.
SPEAKER_04With the looks like Paul, you don't know.
SPEAKER_06He hasn't said it yet. You just said no.
SPEAKER_04It's like oh yeah, yeah. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06Like he hasn't even said it. He's like, nah. He said no. Nah, I don't know. I won't know.
SPEAKER_04Um, where it looks like the astronauts were in these like boxes that were sliding down the side away from the shuttle as it was taking off.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I I did see that video where it looked like they were actually getting out of the way.
SPEAKER_04Now you don't know what's AI or not. I mean, I I feel like I can still tell what's AI. But yeah. Sometimes you can. Sometimes you can't. There's some crazy stuff out there, dude.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. But no, I did see that video. That's kind of odd. Yeah. I think I don't know. I think it was um either even if it so here's my take on it. Even if it was real, it was very underwhelming. Um because like I expected like it's 2026, and you know, I feel like we went up there and we got the same pictures that we got the first time we went. Yeah, not that not that much better. I mean, like the pictures they showed like on online, they were like, yeah, these are great. And it's just like this is the same picture I feel like I've seen a million times.
SPEAKER_04Do you feel like sometimes like if you really think about it, like it's like we're living our parents' childhoods again, like because that first shuttle was when was that? 60s.
SPEAKER_01Shuttle was the 80s, 80s, right?
SPEAKER_04But you have Kennedy Shuttle. Or Moon Landing. When was the Moonland? 63. So around that time, right? My dad was born in 61. Anyway. Moonlanding, Kennedy, you have all these there's some weird kind of comparisons here. You have like, I feel like our generation, this generation, whatever, is uh Kennedy is the Charlie Kirk stuff. You know? Yeah. Because there's so much, I mean, there's it's just it has to be what it was like a little bit. I mean, now we sadly we have technology, so it was plastered all over the place, you know. We have better technology to hopefully figure figure all that out. But and then it's like, and then we're going to the moon, kind of. Yeah, kind of. We're we're gonna go up and we're gonna lap around it. We're gonna look at it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. And apparently they have a really good uh cell phone service in space. They have better cell phone service up there than I do on Earth. Yeah. Like, what? I couldn't even flip the screen around on a on a TikTok live.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they could FaceTime the Twitter. They can FaceTime the kids to FaceTime the president.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, like what?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, pet traps talking to him clear as day.
SPEAKER_06I was so this is a funny story. Well, it's not a funny story, but uh literally my truck broke down on the side of the road yesterday. And uh I was calling the tow truck, and as we're on the way home, like as I'm talking to the tow truck driver, he kept going in and out on my cell phone, and I couldn't hear a word he's saying. So you mean to tell me the president of the United States can talk to the people that's in the spacecraft that is thousands and thousands of thousands of miles away from Earth, but I can't talk to a driver on the phone 10 minute uh miles away from where I am? Think about that. We live in a weird time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's true, too. Yeah, talk to Per Trump on the has nothing to do with service.
SPEAKER_04That's just I don't want to talk to you. Yeah, dude, it's wild, man. I don't know. Well, all right, so if they if they fake this whole thing, then that means how much money are you paying these people? Or you signing, are you they signing something going, hey, well even say nothing or your whole family's gone. Great actors. You know how fat how much money these people would make to go on some big podcast or any sort of like show.
SPEAKER_06Bro, if you if you pay bullshit, if they paid me$30 million and they told me you can't speak of this the rest of your life, I think I could hold that secret. No, we could, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_01Well here's the thing, right? Like, what about all these NASA scientists that are why?
SPEAKER_04Oh, the ninth one just died? Tenth? Oh, yeah, I saw that, yeah.
SPEAKER_01That has either been de-lifed or disappeared.
SPEAKER_06What is de-life? Yeah. Dead. Explain that. Oh.
SPEAKER_01Dead. We have to call it de-life. No, we don't have to.
SPEAKER_06I think it's called the Unalived. Unalive, boys. Unalive. Unalive.
SPEAKER_04He de-lived himself.
SPEAKER_02Well, I there de-lived himself.
SPEAKER_03He walked out there right into the front yard and lived himself. Okay, okay. I was about to say something.
SPEAKER_02I was about to say it's gonna get canceled.
SPEAKER_01That's funny. Look at the pollen coming down, boys. Oh man. Boy. Is that what that is? I think it is. Ain't rain.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, pollen gets bad around this time. But it's a nice night, though.
SPEAKER_01You just won't be able to breathe tomorrow. It's gonna be cold again tomorrow. Is it? Yeah. Well, cool. Is it really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Oh man, Sunday. Sunday. We got WrestleMania number two tomorrow. Yeah. Not actually number two. Night two.
SPEAKER_04If we want to watch two, else can we watch?
SPEAKER_06We can watch two. Hey, maybe we just throw a whole WrestleMania party tomorrow and we just watch all the WrestleMania's leaning up tonight too.
SPEAKER_03We're gonna have to probably start right now.
SPEAKER_06Well, we can start on WrestleMania. We can start WrestleMania 40. Yeah. Watch 40 and 41. It was uh it was alright. Uh you talking about night one? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it to me it sucked. Yeah, I was impressed.
SPEAKER_01Like, what is up with the gravity of the wood just falling to the fire right now?
SPEAKER_04Well, when the foundation gets weak.
SPEAKER_01And now it just it didn't crumble though. It just said, I got tired, dude.
SPEAKER_04Those logs were holding each other up for a while, man. They're like, I gotta go. Just gotta let it go. Sometimes we gotta let them go, dude. Let it go. The other one's probably weighing that one down.
SPEAKER_01This is what happens when you put a microphone in front of us at like midnight at your house.
SPEAKER_04Oh, 1159. Happy New Year.
SPEAKER_01You know how mad people be like, oh yeah, we just faked that we were watching around so many. Yeah, yeah. We had no idea. Slow rolling shows. No, it was we really haven't seen Michael in like four months.
SPEAKER_04There was um yeah, there was a lot of lost moments. I I thought I feel like there it there's a constant, constantly been lost moments with WWE that they're not yeah, there's so many lost moments.
SPEAKER_06It just feels like the product is kind of like not moving forward in a way. Like we we were kind of talking about earlier, it's like they missed a perfect opportunity to put the belt on Randy Orton and go into Monday in a total new story, but now I feel like we start Monday in the same position we were in when we were going into Mania. So that in that aspect is kind of weird. Um, and I think the whole Pat thing was a lot for nothing.
SPEAKER_04Like, no, I love Pat McPhee. This is not talking crap on him. I think the whole angle that WWE chose would make no sense, and then it ended making no sense. None. So it was like, what was the whole point of this dude coming out here?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and you know, they they teased the you know, Orton talking to on the phone with someone, you know, and the whole like dynasty of like the legacy of a wrestling family and stuff, and then it ends up being Pat. These parents have never wrestled in their lives, never ever. Like it's just like that promo makes no sense now.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, no, dude. Pat's awesome.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Pat's great. Pat himself is great. That's hilarious, dude. He just didn't fit, he didn't fit the story, but the story just makes no sense because he's a great commentator, right? Michael Cole, yeah. It was it was kind of it was like a new-ish version of JR and the King. Yeah, I no, I agree with that. It was like him and Michael Cole had that, he had the JR thing, you know, where he was a little animated and would talk some smack or celebrate with the wrestlers or whatever, and Michael Cole was a straight lace JR dude, you know. But I don't know, night two. Maybe I don't know, you think Trump shows up on night two?
SPEAKER_06I saw he was in Vegas, or I heard he was in Vegas. Is he something I saw something that he was in Vegas?
SPEAKER_01You never know.
SPEAKER_06But it's the same, it's owned by the same company though.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So WWE and A and and um UFC is now under the same umbrella. You think Dana White goes to night two? Was he at night one? Oh yeah. If if Trump is there, Dana White will be there.
SPEAKER_04Dude, I wonder I was thinking about this the other day when he he showed up. He showed up at the UFC fight, and I'm like, Man, and there was also, I mean, there was Rubio, there's other uh politicians there, you know? And on either side, this this is whatever. I'm just like, man, when you're a politician at that level, there's no way you don't go into every place in public scared to death. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean? I mean, someone already took two pops at Trump, so it's like you can't, like you don't get used to that.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? Then like it's ha it's happened. It happened to Charlie, it's you know two attempts on on Trump. It's like, dude. World be crazy. No matter where you go or what level it is, it's like you're the you're you might be the closest thing to that person that somebody can get to. So they just choose you because you're yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's you know, oh yeah, no.
SPEAKER_04They don't even like like uh let's all be real. We don't really know what's going on. We have no idea. You know, we have no idea what's going on, dude. And when you think you do, they throw you a curveball. They throw a freaking curveball. Man, I swear to god, dude, we are living Taylor Sheridan. Must have been writing this script because I feel like it's like our days end like like his TV shows do, where it's a perfect moment where you want to stay up and just see what happens. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You wake up and go, oh, I didn't see that one coming.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you know. It's like they just announced uh well when this airs a couple weeks ago that the straight of what is the straight of a whore whormuz had been open, and then literally I wake up this morning and it's like I ran, was like, no, it's closed.
SPEAKER_03We closed that again. What do we do?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's it's just like it's it's like watching kids fight, honestly. It's kind of what it feels like. Awesome. Yeah, it's just I don't know, man. It's a weird time. It is a very weird time. Um, and you know, it kind of paints a picture of how different the world we are are living in. I know compared to like even when we were kids, man. I just this is not normal.
SPEAKER_04You just like like what people don't think, I think I said this the other day. People don't think of too is like these kids, dude. Now that they don't have textbooks like we did. No. They have a computer that they're on all day at school, and then they get home and they're on an iPad or something all day or a screen or whatever all day. And like all these, like I'm sorry, there's no connection, there's no competition, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so like speaking of speaking of kids being on computers and stuff, and I'm this is kind of off-subject, but it's not really off-subject. But I remember when we were in you know, school, like high school and stuff, like if we were to go to use a calculator for like a test or something, the teacher would always tell us, like, you're not gonna be able to use a calculator in real world in the real world. It's like that didn't work out well for him because I use the calculator actually, I use the calculator every single day of my life in the real world.
SPEAKER_04Also, like, why and bro? I'm telling you, I know. I don't know if this is the 30s or what, but I uh said, dude. I told him about AI. I'm rolling, I'm rolling cast iron, bro. Also shows responsibility. Um, because that's a commitment. Yeah. I had to take you gotta take care of this thing. You imagine. But I have cast iron. I'm eating farm farm fresh right from farm from my girl JoJo.
SPEAKER_06Jojo, hey, I actually went with me, uh, me and Mike went up.
SPEAKER_04We ended up doing a commercial for Jojo's market today. Yeah. Straight from the gym.
SPEAKER_01Nice.
SPEAKER_04No. No, wasn't nice. It was nice. It was nice. Yes, for yes, I love them. But we came straight from the gym. They got they go, we're shooting a commercial, man. We're talking to, I introduced Jojo to Brady, and we're sitting there, and of course, I'm, you know, I don't I don't care, I'm joking right now. But in my mind, I'm like, I come in here, I come in here, I love that place, and them, man, they're awesome. You're in Dallas, Georgia area, Bobo Road. Or what's it, what's the main road there? Oh, I have no idea. Um, look up Jojo's market, go see them, tell him I see you. Um, there's good people. By my every time I come in here, I like, you know, have a shirt on or something.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you mean you're telling me you wear a shirt into the store?
SPEAKER_01That's usually it.
SPEAKER_04Nicer than I did today. I was right out of the sauna so if we're to shoot this commercial, my shirt just soaking wet with sweat. I'm like, yeah. Of course we'll do it.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's not as that's not as uh funny as the story she told us of the the two ladies that came in prior to us. That was the first the first time they'd ever been in the store. Yeah, yeah. And she put her uh put them to work and she was like, Oh no, we could grab that.
SPEAKER_04The lady's like, yeah, she's like, Would you thanks for coming back? She's like, Oh, this is our first time. It's our first time here. She was like, if I known that, I wouldn't have that's funny. No, yeah, absolutely. There's nothing better, dude, than small town mom and pop.
SPEAKER_06And I'm glad to see, I think that's coming back because I think people are people were getting tired of corporate and like stuff, dude. The things they are they're putting in our food now, it's poisoning us.
SPEAKER_04I think you see people um be in a community more, you know? Yeah, which is what what I think is what our ancestors were. You know what I mean? Like you took care of your well they had to be, they had to be a community, right?
SPEAKER_01Compound, by the way.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, huh?
SPEAKER_01This is step one before we're all in a compound.
SPEAKER_04A compound?
SPEAKER_06We're going to a compound?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04Would you like to elaborate on that?
SPEAKER_01Huh?
SPEAKER_04I'm going to heaven. You go to a compound. You go to the compound if you want to go to the compound. You know, we all we all raise. We have my bedroom at the compound.
SPEAKER_01We all go raise our own chickens and goats.
SPEAKER_04Oh bro, I can't wait, dude. I already I I need to see if we can have chickens. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01What if I can have chickens? I'm actually shocked you haven't like just you know disappeared to Montana.
SPEAKER_04Bro, I'm I'm telling you right now, dude, I'm you and Tim just living together. I have two more weird things popping up on the news, dude. I'm I'm in I'm back in my wall. I'm I'm pop pop right now. Yeah? I would have a guard. I'd I'm drinking out of glass bottles.
SPEAKER_01I really hope that's just like the leaves falling back there, because it sounds like something walking.
SPEAKER_04No, that's leaves, but that's woods.
SPEAKER_01Sounds like Bigfoot, just cranking stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04Four Lauderdale's coming out of them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Would you ever go Bigfoot hunting?
SPEAKER_04Oh no. Really? No. No.
SPEAKER_01Why?
SPEAKER_04Because I don't think there's a Bigfoot.
SPEAKER_01But would you do it just to do it?
SPEAKER_04Or like Why the hell would I go hunting for something that isn't there? That isn't there.
SPEAKER_01What the fuck is that fine? I'm telling you, like, look at like this is like it's literally raining like tree shit. Tree shit. Like there's just seeds and stuff all over there right now.
SPEAKER_06Alright, let's get back on those big let's get back to this bigfoot topic.
SPEAKER_01So so like hypothetically, if you could go on like a Bigfoot hunt in the backwoods, maybe you could shoot an elk at the same time, would you do it?
SPEAKER_04If I could if if there's no there's no Bigfoot. Maybe there was at one point in time. There's no way.
SPEAKER_01You know how much of this What's more likely? Bigfoot exists or we went to the moon?
SPEAKER_06That's actually a good question. That is a good question. I I would say if I had to put my wife on it, I would say, yeah, I would think that we would have found some type of evidence.
SPEAKER_04But with that being said, also Peter there was an era of time where people were bigger. And like, was there just like a group of people that were big hairy dudes? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01My brain is on a kick on some shit right now. What it was your brain, like the whole like Nephilim and all that kind of stuff. Nephilim. Your brain is on something. Oh, so like when you read the Bible, right, it talks about like the uh the sons of it was like this the um the sons of God and the daughters of man laid together like giants, right? And so um you look at all these rock formations and things out there that are shaped as like humans, it's kind of like when you think about it, right? Like God sent the flood because the earth was so bad we had to hit like reset, and you're just sitting here going, like, wait a minute, wait a minute. Like it was worse than now. Yeah, and you know, it talked about giants and all that other stuff, and I mean, think about it, man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So maybe, maybe there was at one point.
SPEAKER_06So do you think the giants created the uh pyramids?
SPEAKER_01Uh no, that would have been post-flood. So no. That's true. Um, now, did every single giant die? I mean, I don't know, but I mean, if you've ever like go on, like, good lord, the shit. Andre the diet, Andre the Giant. Go online and like you start losing my heart forever. You know, I mean, dude, I mean, straight, like rock formations looking like giant, like fucking like snakes and humans, and you're just like you're just kind of like, what are the chances? And it and the thing is, is it's all it's all like unique. And I saw this, and I look, I saw this on a TikTok of this, and I don't even know if it's like accurate, but it was like there so you look at the moon and has all these like asteroid hits that's randomly sporadic, but the earth has like a s like a certain amount, and it's all like the number of fallen angels that got thrown out of heaven kind of a thing that came to Earth, like the watchers.
SPEAKER_04I mean God's gonna s dude, God will show you signs, buddy.
SPEAKER_01Like that that's the thing, you you know, and then the the whole like fall, like the pre earth stuff, like man, like my brain like just trying to comprehend that as a human just tr makes your head just go bananas. You know, like how in the world did that happen? Like, can angels actually die could like how did that happen?
SPEAKER_04I mean if he threw him out of heaven. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Do they go to hell? I don't know. That would be technically like a fallen angel.
SPEAKER_04Maybe I don't know. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01And why are there other galaxies?
SPEAKER_04See, okay, here's my thing. Okay, here's here's my thing on on this whole people, I I think guys we're getting a little ahead of ourselves as humans. I think we're getting a little spoiled and we're bored because we're the rich kids and we can already we get everything we want at the touch of our phones. You know what I mean? True. So now we're bored. Now we want to know and now we have technology or now we're I don't know politicians are wanting to hide something so they're putting this out that's what I think but this whole they're gonna tell us about aliens can we leave them alone? I mean here's the thing I don't want to know here you don't open you don't shut the door that door that screen door it's open I opened it I can take that little metal thing and push it back and it closes. A galaxy if you open the door to a galaxy you're not shutting that door and I don't know what's on the other side.
SPEAKER_01I mean I'm cool here think about it though like what are the ramifications of I mean if you think about this if if if I mean look everything's an if and I'm trying not to sound like I'm not gonna sound like blasphemy because I'm not trying to get hit by you know a Mac truck on the way home. But like the weird things about like if you believe the Bible right like what does that mean for like that you know like someone posed one of the craziest questions to me ever is like if we go to Mars and God comes back like does like the same rules apply if you're on Mars or just like you know do you just watch it on TV? Like it's like there's some some wild stuff that your brain can really just start to get it why do we want to live on Mars or a hypothetical question.
SPEAKER_04I mean I know but I know but people truly want to like why why this place is sick man if you think go to places where no one's been before we there's literally places on earth that no man has ever stepped to there's part of the ocean that we've never seen that's crazy when you're think about it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah I'm good I'm I'm good in my bubble. Yeah right here on earth also how are we going to ship material?
SPEAKER_01Yeah like how are we yeah we gonna go over there go well oxygen okay there's perfect gravity all right um we're gonna do a circle around it guys there is not a Home Depot or electricity you ever seen the Marshall we're just gonna use our own shit yeah I I don't know look some of this is just for the conversation I'm not trying to like make it to where it's like actual like I believe this but it's the weird it's the things that you can really kind of think about that maybe it's true maybe it's not I love a good conspiracy theory I there is a bunch of conspiracy or is it like just the it would be a it would be a theory there is a bunch of ties to what is going on in in the Bible.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah and if you go through the book of Isaiah really study it down it's pretty crazy like how spot on some of some of the things that he uh he said in in the book of Isaiah and they quoted so many times over the whole book of the Bible.
SPEAKER_06But yeah it is nuts dude I don't know I just gonna try to have a good life and make some country music and at the end of the day that's all you can do is focus on what you're doing and not worry about anything else and hey if we go to Mars and people want to live on Mars that's all for them. Like bye you know like I'll stay right here.
SPEAKER_01California so I mean there's weird shit.
SPEAKER_04If they you know these politicians and these these freaking billionaires they're all you know they're gonna buy every ounce of land on Mars.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah yeah yeah so when everybody gets up there they think it's all fun and games and now they just no eventually we own everything money yeah speaking of like when you get to Mars like who owns it I guess it would be like who declares that like yeah we own this place now.
SPEAKER_01But the thing is our inherent like desire for exploration and new right I mean think about it Mars is like Oregon to us now right like Oregon seemed out of reach well when we were on hope for carriage yes I know but but still like when you think about yeah yeah what was out of reach to us 200 years ago 300 years ago right like Mars is now like the thing that's you know sailing across the ocean was Mars for the human race and now that's like the thing and it I think it's just our inherent curiosity which also is I think is a God given thing.
SPEAKER_06But you know what our our curiosity led to is war with ourselves right you know what it did with the cat? I mean it literally destroyed so you know I mean so now take that philosophy and then apply it to finding new galaxies in space and time when we open up a shit can of worms and like a rebuttal for it. Aliens take us over.
SPEAKER_01But I got a rebuttal for you on that one if God is the type of like think about think about a duckbill platypus right think about it right it's a it's got it's got think about it it's like it makes no sense right it lays eggs it has fur it's got the it's got a bill of a duck yeah right like that's like something like God created just to like screw with us. Yeah and it should but it shows the creativity and I think even humor like we sometimes we think about like God is like this big right like wouldn't you show off bro if you could do that huh? Wouldn't you show off yeah but like but like if we're made in his image don't you think that that curiosity is is a divine piece of our DNA of curiosity of what?
SPEAKER_04Yeah just life everything about everything I mean yeah that's why God that's why Jesus came in the form of a man to be tempted because God old testament is very different than the New Testament how God handled things before Jesus came to the came at came down as man got tempted as man got tempted harder than anybody did um came down and then got crucified and then rose three days later all of that was for us being able to have that curiosity. You know what I mean? And you want to strive to be the best person that you can but he didn't die for us to be perfect. You know and I think that's sometimes where people get like real confused on you know where Jesus would be walking the earth you know what I mean like it says it in the Bible where he was and who he was healing you know and so it's a uh I I think yeah I think as humans we he gave us the right to think on our own which is why which is why you leave your parents when you become a certain age. You know go now go do what it is you know what's your destination to do keep God center.
SPEAKER_01You know and so he gave us the free will to choose him you know did you ever watch the Passion of the Christ yeah you know there's a movie there's a scene there where Jesus like pulls a prank on his mom and it and like laughs about it and it's like the thing that you don't think about right and it's there's a TV show that shows what's that show I just started chosen.
SPEAKER_04Yeah yeah and what I like about that is it does show the humane the human side I had a Bible teacher in in high school so I had to take Bible classes all through middle school and high school and I remember asking because we had to study yeah we studied the Bible it was a class like it was any other class right five days a week and so I remember going like we're like 514 you know where like you get in the truck and you say damn because you think it's cool with your buddy you know and I'm like well what does it say in the Bible about cuss words right and I would go to the Bible teacher and they explained it to me right where it really does it blah blah blah. But then they said something so funny and it was so true it was like Michael also remember this like Jesus picked the disciples and those 12 dudes were some of the baddest men on the planet right and they walked in the desert for days and days and you don't think somebody didn't say the F word you don't think 100% you know what I mean like the Hebrew word for F yeah and I I laugh I'm like it's so true like you forget they were they were men they were real men like us oh oh yeah he was yeah he was one of the worst ones and it's like you forget that so that show chosen is really cool because it kind of puts a human a real life perspective because if not it is I think it is really easy for all of us to be like these 12 disciples and they're 15 feet tall and they're perfect and they never you know messed up I think sometimes religion can make that seem that way because people don't want to know the harsh truth about Christianity. You know like people don't want to know kind of what what it really entails.
SPEAKER_01They want to feel good and be called that you know they they they don't want to see the reality of the both of both sides of it the human side yeah but also the the consequences side right like they want to find the middle because it's well nobody wants to hear here you know hey you're gonna and change is hard dude like change is hard but also I think people think that if you if you give your life to Christ right then you you're perfect.
SPEAKER_04It's not that actually you're gonna get tempted even harder. The devil's gonna be even harder on you and you're gonna have that weight on you that that's that Holy Spirit feeling that you haven't felt before and then you feel then you fall right but then you go and you get forgiven and you you know you you keep getting better.
SPEAKER_01You don't come to imperfect he doesn't come be perfect you know what I mean it's the a dog doesn't bark at a parked car thing right like he doesn't come for the people and put everything in the way of the people that he doesn't care about right like it's the it's the ones he's terrified of that you get everything. And that's where sometimes that's where the hardest part is is you know it's seeing the you know it's seeing the sun through the trees you know that was very poetic.
SPEAKER_06Yeah thank you oh Bob Ross over here too Bob Ross is seeing the sun through the trees that's a picture right there. Now now we're Rogan podcasting boys happy trees yeah I don't know there's a lot of weird up here I'd set a hammock out here and just sleep oh that would be that would be so nice right now bro I'd fall asleep so fast yeah yeah fall asleep so fast yeah there's a lot of weird things happening in the world it's just the curiosity of I'm very curious yeah I'm very curious about a lot of different things and just how we got to this point.
SPEAKER_04Some things I am some things I just lean on faith and go well we'll go see what this one does yeah it's kind of like whatever happens happens you never know and like here's the deal man like I don't know I feel like all the freaking all the freaking news channels are just excuse me entertainment now you know yeah so they know what to say yeah to hold said audience right yeah yeah and so why uh when we were growing up there was one massive news what was it 2020 or or five or you really had AB seven NBC and CBS and then you had C Yeah but like the nightly news right yeah yeah yeah but like the big nightly news right other than that you watched your local news because that's what you were supposed to just consider Yeah you had like one main one. You weren't worried about what was happening in Iowa right you weren't worried about what was happening in a place you just worried about your area and getting to work and getting back to your family and your kids getting to school and that's what you cared about. And then maybe at night you kind of turn on the night news when you're in bed to see oh shoot you know there's fires over there there whatever's happening or the president's saying this or whatever it is you know but like you weren't meant to have all of this.
SPEAKER_06Yeah no I remember when I was a kid waking up and I'm watching just a local news channel fine seeing what's going on in the local hometown you know I that's that's what that's what it was.
SPEAKER_04I'm trying to Bob Ops and Marlo Welch 911 really changed a lot of that you know local news and yeah the national computer people start yeah of like it just makes everybody it just made dude it does it to me it does it to everybody man if you start watching it all the time and you really start digging in it and then you you get consumed by the fact that like if I turn it here they're saying this about the same story and if I turn it here they're saying that about the same story. Like well then what's the truth here right yeah back in the day our grandparents' time our parents' time back in the day bro that if you didn't write as a journalist the truth yeah for the people you would get your license taken away you know what I mean is too now it's like now now it's like people are lying but nobody gives a shit but yeah well like is the thing is it's like by the time it gets to us how many times has that story changed or been amplified well dude like since being on this like whole health journey and mental health and everything man like one of the things I was like studied hard was food right and and Brady's helped me a bunch with that and but I've really studied different things and when you look at what when you look at a photo of our grandparents on the beach very different than right now. But if you look at what they ate night and day different if you look at the diseases that we have now all the type of cancers you look at the children with autism you look at all this stuff going on this doesn't this isn't progression right this is degression you were we're declining here all of the technology but why is that oh that's right because we were told by the people you were supposed to trust because there was no internet back then you know so it's not like you had all of this information or this chat GPT you can look stuff up you're going this guy's elected this girl's elected whatever this is the doctor whoever so you're saying hey eat fruit loops don't eat real fruit don't eat eggs high cholesterol is going to be bad for you don't eat red meat that's gonna kill you yeah and come to find out all that literally all of that was a lie yeah they've omitted this now yeah so so and then you look and you go oh well no wonder why progressively we have declined with with intelligence with growth you know what I mean with like all of it and you you look back at food man like our ancestors with fasting like I f I started fasting like all this stuff with fasting and you go back to our ancestors like when you had to hunt your meals there's no way these fools were eating three four times a day yeah the whole thing like eat three times a day was just a keep you yep it's all it's all a game it's all a game of comfort comfort kills and every time your life gets a little more comfortable it's never going to go back but where do you always want to go back to you have to have a raptor R. You know what I would trade it for a sick ass square body right now you know 100% like but that but but but like honestly though a nice one of those that's like in pristine condition costs as much as that raptor R the even trade for me to even trade right down to you know what I mean it's like it's it's you know when they're when you're not gardening when grocery stores started coming in when when they started screwing the farmer you know and and and going against them and buying the land and and and speed speeding up the process of how food gets made you know like yeah just to make a dollar just to make a little dollar man and then all of that goes back to the pharmaceutical companies which is what I think is the reason why they push all of that stuff. You know what I mean? And now thank God we got the technology to where people are looking into psychedelic treatments where they're you know I was I was literally just listening about Rogan was talking about it to Trump and that's freaking massive 80% addiction gone. 80% first time it's literally rewiring people's brains rewiring guys' brains it's saving lives it's healing depressions healing um so many uh addiction it's healing I mean it's it's a it's a miracle drug there's no reason why we don't have it here except because pharmaceuticals have to go to pharmaceuticals right yeah mushroom journeys you know in the in and how that helps um ayahuasca those type of natural things that God put on this earth that are spoken about in the Bible they banned but yeah we can take these things that have we can literally watch a loved one go from a stand-up human starting taking these oxies or these pain pills after a surgery next thing you know they were a whole different person. Yeah you know what I mean for sure like I think I'm it's so cool to be a part of the generation that's wisened up to that and really seeing it you know for what it was but also it kind of makes you go was my whole childhood a lie dude like I I mean in a believe even what was in the history books 100% like is it only 90?
SPEAKER_06I don't know like I mean in a way we were lied to we were lied to in a lot of different um aspects of life and a lot of things we were taught are not useful in today's world like at all.
SPEAKER_04Well yeah like especially like my Spanish yeah like we're that might be more useful now that could possibly be useful in some ways serious as a you're from Florida creeped up to Orlando yet you know about 16 I was like I'm moving to Nashville to get me out of this school 100% how do I how do I pass this Spanish class and then I get older and I'm like my buddy show showed up this one time and he could speak Spanish girl's like oh my god you speak Spanish I was like learned Spanish on that one yeah I'm like uh cerveza see oh look at that rabbit oh yeah hey look at the bunny rabbit bro I I tell everybody dude and I've I always I was raised obviously in the country and there's just something peaceful I love to hunt that's why I love just you just really feel God out there in the moment and it's just a the whole the whole hunt is just being in the woods is great. I couldn't I couldn't imagine like there's nothing better than this right here. It's just quiet in the woods. Like the wind is blowing you can hear the trees Paul's freaking out a little bit but funny for us.
SPEAKER_01Paul thinks Bigfoot's lurking in the backfoot's about to give him a hickey on his neck do you know how rich I'd be if Bigfoot gave me a hickey I'm telling you right I would let Bigfoot get me a hickey videotape it I'm gonna I'd let Brady's wrestling ass get on him real quick. While I'll go get one of them guns I got in my roof I'm gonna say Bigfoot you probably would see Brady just contemplate like do I want to like spear this motherfucker or not?
SPEAKER_04Bro it would be wild dude I think about that sometimes like like with the in those cadows I was telling you all about in Florida it's like sometimes like especially if you're going by yourself you know and there's not boats like it's not like on a holiday or night stay or whatever. It's just you creeping through at night you can't really see anything you got the little you know the little light on the belly four foot light. Yeah and dude you're just like there's gonna be a T Rex that pops out of your thing. It's the most like peaceful but kind of eerie like or some like spot creature standing on the bank yeah that's like growling at you like what the hell is this when me and my cousin Lee got shot at while we were gator hunting no no bro we were gator hunting it was on that trip where I was telling you we saw those babies but we didn't see we didn't we got scooped. It was when they got me drunk and called Ric Flair at four in the morning. Yeah yeah um we go out dude and there was on this uh little went down this little uh canal type thing down to this little like pond it was all connected but there's houses like a you know like a cul de site like a little roundabout of the lake you know yeah and so it's nighttime we're not shining on these people's houses we're shining on the water well it was nighttime it was like one in the morning or whatever and so we're going around and we just hear stop shining that effing light in our house and we're like oh sorry you know thing like maybe or maybe we might have you know it was three of us yeah maybe somebody did but we're like we're gonna shine a light and she just kept screaming and she freaking is hollering at some we're going slow with my cousin Lee. My cousin Lee stays calm in every scenario like you've never seen a guy like it ever like you'll never see him he ain't gonna raise his voice he's just gonna be like this you know the whole time so he's all calm driving which kind of gives me fake confidence you know but he's a big old boy and we got JJ so I'm like Lee's calm and talking so I'm like I'm just gonna ignore this lady because I'm like if three guys pull up you know what I mean like around like shit we have so I'm my back's turned to him and Lee's going slow JJ's still shining for gators and the ladies just dog cuss this dude and Lee's like man we're not we have full right to be here we all have licenses we've already talked to the game warden you know we've talked to all like we we're okay to be here this is public public lick and she goes nuts nuts and then she kind of goes in her house and Lee's like that's over we kind of laugh and we keep shining this this lady shows back up bro we're coming right by your house slow and she's standing there and this is like moo moo dude and she goes and I go and I just hear Lee go did you really bring a gun and she had a I kind of look over my shoulder she has a pistol and I'm like oh my god but my back's turns I'm like they got it I'm not gonna turn you know and she's like stop shining like whatever there she's kind of she's yelling and Lee's just calm talking he's like ma'am we could be here but if you freaking you need to put that gun away ma'am or you know we're we're gonna call you know we know all the cops here you know we know everybody here like they'll be here pretty quick and my back's turning all I hear is She freaking fires it off, bro. And my cousin's like, Are you kidding me? So Lee's on the phone with the cop. She goes running and she goes like walking into the house. We pull off. I started checking myself because first thing I thought of was like, yo, they say, like, inner you don't, yeah, you don't feel it right away.
SPEAKER_06This this bitch hit me. Is there any holes in me? I'm good, man.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, dude, I don't know if she fired it in the air, fired it to the ground, but uh it was dark, so I couldn't see what type of gun it was. It looked like a revolver, but yeah, dude, we got shot. We got shot at around. Shot at around. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Why she'd have killed the gator that would have the only gator that you could have seen.
SPEAKER_04We would have got it by the boat, dude. I would have got it on the way out. That would have been such an asshole. That would have been great because we spent three nights hunting gators.
SPEAKER_06Didn't not one gator. That's impressive.
SPEAKER_04Oh bro, I love the hunt. That's my favorite part. I'm waiting, I'm waiting for these taxidermists to come in. They should hopefully they should have been in a few months ago, but I gotta call my guy.
SPEAKER_01What's your uh dream hunt?
SPEAKER_04Uh probably elk. Elk moose would be awesome. Uh but I'll I'll my dream hunt right now is an elk. You never you never shot an elk? No, but I've been talking with my buddy Alex. I got talking to my buddy Alex in Colorado where we shoot uh the antelope. And uh I'm gonna try to get on a big Muley out there.
SPEAKER_01I got a I got a-I got the hookup for it for you. Oh, for elk. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I was talking about mule deer. Um and then I'm going out with my boy Chad Mendez with Fins of Feathers to shoot Blacktail and then to do Mule Deer. Nice this year. But yeah, elk would be elk would be sick. Moose would be just freaking awesome. Yeah, I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah. Uh oh. Yeah, I feel a little bit of rain driplets.
SPEAKER_04It's okay, boys. We ain't sugar.
SPEAKER_01No, but the electronics are electronics are they don't like it.
SPEAKER_04But we'll see if it gets a little worse.
SPEAKER_01We'll see.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Right now we might semi okay.
SPEAKER_04I think we'll be good. I didn't even know it was boys. But yo, have y'all seen what show was the freaking show? Drena and I were watching it. Uh Paradise. No, but you told me about it.
SPEAKER_01How did you how could you stop? You didn't go to the second episode. See the rug rats that ran in here in your house a couple hours ago? That's about how I've not been able to watch it. I was so on that show, I would have probably locked them in a room. I'm well, I'd I go to Texas next week.
SPEAKER_04Have you finished it?
unknownBro.
SPEAKER_01I go to Texas next week in Florida the week after, and I'm downloading it and watching them on the plastic. You have to. Yeah, oh, for sure.
SPEAKER_04Bro, but here's the here's the crazy part. I'm not alright, I'm not gonna spoil it for anybody listening or you two guys, but when you watch this show, it gets so real with kind of what in a way is happening now. And it will freak you out, dude. Really? It's supposed to be the next season. Good actors, can't say anything. Oh, it's no, the show is phenomenal, dude. The acting is great, the storyline is great, the writing's awesome, like all of it's badass, and they keep you just like it's one of those shows, the first couple episodes you gotta watch and really pay attention to. And you kind of get the uh layout of it, you know. But it just keeps you on your toes the whole time. Like the whole episode, there's like two or three moments you're like, oh shoot.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I didn't see that coming. Yeah, I'm gonna have to check that show out. I've been meaning to.
SPEAKER_04But it's a uh, but but it's a little it's a little scary.
SPEAKER_06Like scary as and just really.
SPEAKER_04You can yeah, you can put together. You can draw parallels. Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. What cigar are you smoking over there, Poly D? Tabac.
SPEAKER_01What? Tabac. Tabac especial dolce.
SPEAKER_04Tabac?
SPEAKER_01Tabac. With the T T A B A K.
SPEAKER_04Pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Boys. Might need to take a hiatus and put the shit inside. I don't really feel a lot right now.
SPEAKER_04Oh, she's coming. Yeah. She's coming in strong. Who do you got for tomorrow?
unknownWrestleMania.
SPEAKER_06What is the main event tomorrow? Is the rains and CM Punk? Rains, Rains goes over in that one.
SPEAKER_04You uh you would think they'll do the right thing tomorrow.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oba, not Uba, like I was saying.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Uba. I like fought for it too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oba is the dude's name. Uh find Brock Lesnar. That's gonna be. I think that's gonna be probably the best message.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's that's the one I'm looking most like looking forward to. Um, and they almost have to put him over uh Lesnar tomorrow.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, there's too much heat on this dude.
SPEAKER_06Well, Oba's so believable. Like he's just he's legit, you believe exactly what he's saying. Yeah, as soon as he opens his mouth, and it's it's just the way he he carries himself. I he's just he's a major star in the making, and uh I just don't see good business in um him going under Lesnar at all.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, no. But after watching night one, yeah, you never know.
SPEAKER_06You never know, but you never know. I didn't see good business in Cody going over Brandy either, but you know, who am I to judge that? You know.
SPEAKER_04It was so fun. Trying to think there's anything else. I don't think it's I don't think it's raining right now.
SPEAKER_06I mean it's kind of like I feel a few drops, but it's not it's nothing bad. It ain't bad. But um I think I think uh I think night two will be they gotta have something lined up. I think night two, I don't think I don't know if that's gonna work, Paul.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna let you know, man. Them paper towels are cheaper.
SPEAKER_01I'm just worried about like there's a thing raining hard enough to worry about it, but enough.
SPEAKER_04But when we start seeing it, we did the guinea pig. Good job, Paul. That's that's Boy Scouting right there, dude. Because now if we see that start getting wet, then we know. Exactly. That's a were you in Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts?
SPEAKER_01Were you in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts? That was a stupid question.
SPEAKER_04That was a legit question, huh? That was a very stupid question. That's kind of done though you won't answer, honestly.
SPEAKER_01You shouldn't have asked that.
SPEAKER_04Girl?
SPEAKER_06Don't you start with me, Lady Boy Scout?
SPEAKER_04Did you do Boy Scouts? No. Did you?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_06I did for a little while. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you did 4 H? Yeah. I did 4 H. All my cousins did 4 H.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I did 4 H.
SPEAKER_04I don't know if I did as a little kid or not. I don't think I did. I did Boy Scouts. Cub Scouts. Oh, oh. I didn't make it to Boy Scouts. Got a little tussle.
SPEAKER_06I actually might have done Cub Scouts too. I can't remember.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04I know I did 4-H and This is a big commitment for a kid. I just wanted that little uh knife thing that could make a fly. Yeah, yeah. Remember that's what they would give you. Oh, yeah, I know I remember. We would all get sent to the cafeteria for this dude to show up in a vest and a brown, looking like what's his name, old uh old crocodile hunter. Brown shirt and pants, red bandana, yeah, vest full of patches. Yeah. Proud as hell. Yeah. He come out there full of kids, full of elementary and middle school kids, and tell us that if we signed up for Cub Scouts, we would get a fire starter. Yeah. A full-blown that where you scrape the uh the flint and stuff. The flint off. Yeah, yeah. And then steal. And then then he would demonstrate so he we would know that he isn't, you know, pulling our leg. We know this guy's real. He's talking real. I'm like, I'll go a couple meetings for that. 100%. Next thing you know, I'm building campfires. I'm like, bro, I've been building fires since I was a little kid, dude. Yeah. Cub Scouts? Cub Scouts started at three in my family.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Staple of life. Wait, what'd you say, Paul?
SPEAKER_01Only you can prevent forest fires.
SPEAKER_06That's a lot of responsibility on Big Bang.
SPEAKER_04I did hear that. Yeah, that's a rabbit. That's that rabbit.
SPEAKER_06That's that Bigfoot running around out there.
SPEAKER_04But that's the most light footed Bigfoot I've ever heard in my life.
SPEAKER_06They're very nimble. Oh, he's just scurrying through the biggest. They're very nimble and quick. Don't you know?
SPEAKER_01Rubbing his toes on there just trying to make you think it's a rabbit.
SPEAKER_06Michael, why do you think they've been uh undiscovered for so long? They're very they're very solid.
SPEAKER_01But what if they are discovered and they just don't want us to know?
SPEAKER_06Who discovered it? Because like everybody who discovers is gonna run their mouth. That's what I was saying about the space shuttle.
SPEAKER_01Space shuttle. Space shuttle. They thought the coelacant was you know extinct for uh the what?
SPEAKER_04I don't know what that you just said.
SPEAKER_06I don't know what that is.
SPEAKER_04What is that? No, but I know that if you say you can't, then you can.
SPEAKER_06Then you can't. But if you see you can't, if you say you can't, apparently it's real. So what is it?
SPEAKER_01What is it historic fish that they thought was extinct in the fossil record?
SPEAKER_06Alright, well then what about what about Megalodon?
SPEAKER_04How about Uranus not being a planet, dude? That's crazy. What a waste of years that was for us.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, well, never mind. Not going down that road. Yeah, you don't want to go down. Um, probably not, but I do think that there's probably hybrid Great Whites that have like maybe more of that DNA. Bro, I do think there's some I think there are massive sharks that are that we don't know about. Yeah, but think about the great whites. They don't even know where they they don't even they've never seen a great white like give birth, right? They don't even know where they mate. They've never seen a great white mate. They've never seen a big private, dude.
SPEAKER_04That's called respect. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't want to see birthing.
SPEAKER_04You want to see a great white give birth?
SPEAKER_01Do you want to see a mate? Maybe.
SPEAKER_02Once actually not a dimensional.
SPEAKER_03You talked about it. No, I never crossed my mind. Can you search that?
SPEAKER_01But there's like all these shark species that they've seen. And then you see some of these females show up with bite marks, and you're like, what the F got a hold of that. It's like Well, you think they're kinky. Well, they apparently the males like will bite to hold on to the females. It's normal.
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, they don't have any feet for grip and f and you know, grounding. I get that. They're in the middle of the water.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but like some of them show up with marks and like the bite radius doesn't make sense.
SPEAKER_04Oh, like big like big bubble came in. Big boy came in.
SPEAKER_01You know, like when they found deep blue, like like what, eight, ten years ago, they had no idea that a great white was that big and just popped out of the blue, bam, twenty. Oh, bro.
SPEAKER_04Well, there's part of the ocean we'll never know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, they don't know if you want to know.
SPEAKER_04I've never seen that. I don't. That's what I was saying about the whole galaxy. We know more about the surface of the moon than we have. That's what I was saying. They know more about space that hasn't changed since 62.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Like they say they know more about space than we do.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but there's creatures, bro.
SPEAKER_01Because of the pressure, the the pressure is why it's a lot harder to go, it's easier to go to space than it is to go to the oat bottom.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, those poor guys in that sub or something. That subshapes, yeah, that subscribe should probably PlayStation controller to drive. I'm telling you right now. One would have never done it. Would have never even my anxiety would not allow me to get in that tin can box. But if, if, if, let's just say that you sold it to me on a beautiful little sheet of paper, and I looked at it, and it was a big submarine that had a bar in it and a restaurant. We were just gonna cruise down and look through, and it was all perfect and professionally done. And you got me to there. And I looked at that and I said, that is not what the hell was on the pamphlet.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh there you, Brady Booker, Billy Gunn, yeah. None of y'all could have made me go in that freaking thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, tin can. It was literally.
SPEAKER_04I was like, bro, why would you get in that? And then this dude's over there with an Xbox controller. Now we're good. AAX down R R L R L. It's called a Christ there. Bro, you can't like the pressure of the sea is going to squash that. I mean, they had luckily they wasn't like they suffered. I think that thing just went yeah, it just disintegrated. You know what I mean? Instagone. So sad, but like dude. I can't be doing that.
SPEAKER_01Nah, I can't even see some things there's never I will never, never do.
SPEAKER_04I did go into a submarine once, not obviously underwater, but uh when we were doing that TV show with the military, and uh it is tight. Nuclear submarines, yeah. Tight oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I've been on a submarine before too. They're like a submarine tour. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they know it. Even those Navy ships, dude. Yeah. Like how they sleep, you know what I mean? And how they're just, I mean, it's they're literally just there to take a quick nap, you know, when they can, and then they're back.
SPEAKER_01You have to have no sense of time.
SPEAKER_04You have no sense of time out there, bro. And also, dude, like you're on that boat, and I mean There's nobody coming to save you. Walking, running, you know what I mean? Like they they're in the middle of the ocean. Like ain't no firm ground there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, again, no one's coming to save you either. Like, if something happens and you end up at the bottom of the ocean, you are pretty much gone.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Unless you're like Michael Phelps or something.
SPEAKER_01No, you're pretty gone.
SPEAKER_04Uh 13 times.
SPEAKER_01What was that? Last time I checked, Michael Phelps wasn't in 2,000 feet of water.
SPEAKER_04No. There was one time uh back in the day they made him race a shark. Do y'all remember that?
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, the on Shark Week. It was the dumbest thing you ever had.
SPEAKER_04So dumb. I was so stoked for that when I was a kid. I was like, oh, this is sick. Let's go race a shark they did. I was like, what?
SPEAKER_01Dude, they had Shack Host Shark Week. Like, what are we doing? Shaq Host's awesome though. Yeah, the Rock host Shark Week. Jason Momoa. Okay, bet.
SPEAKER_06Well, he's Aquaman. I get down with that. I get down with that.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I look forward to Shark Week every year, though.
SPEAKER_06I used to, but I I've gotten out of it now. But I used to uh I used to really look forward to Shark Week. I don't really know why, but yeah, I mean, it's still a cool thing to watch. And that's honestly why I got on the Megalodon thing because I've thought about that and how many times when it's shark weed, they talk about finding Megalodon.
SPEAKER_01Well, did you see the um there was a shark, I think it was um it was a um salmon shark or something? I don't remember. Uh nine, ten foot shark, they tagged it, went down, and then all of a sudden.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it disappeared or something.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but but the tag, the water was cold and then it warmed up securely. Yeah, meaning something swallowed it whole. I remember exactly what you're talking about. Whatever did that, yeah. Now maybe it could have been a big ass whale. I mean it could have been a whale shark or something. No, sperm whale would have been if you got a sixty-foot sperm whale could eat a ten-foot shark. But I I mean, I don't think there's any really documented aspects of a sperm whale eating a shark. Yeah. Maybe they do, we just don't know. Um but you you see a lot of you know sharks eating sharks, right? Like bigger sharks will eat smaller sharks. Um so that was the piece to the to the puzzle that I mean it could have been a I mean, maybe it could have been a um uh killer whale. You got the killer whales to get up to 30 feet long.
SPEAKER_06I mean, that's a big where where was this at? Do you remember?
SPEAKER_01I think it was off South Africa.
SPEAKER_06But see, and that's the thing, especially like off the coast of Australia too.
SPEAKER_01There's like monster great whites off the coast of the big ones in the real big ones are finding it is in uh Mexico.
SPEAKER_06And you see, that's scary. That's too close to that's too close to home. Hawaii, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because they all go to Hawaii apparently, like when they're pregnant, and they feed on like the the whales that go there. What or you get dead whales that off the off the coast of shit?
SPEAKER_06Off the coast of Australia, they feed the great whites like cows and shit like that. They dump cows out.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I would do that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, cage diving would be fun.
SPEAKER_04Well, you're in that you're in that cage, right? That's what yeah, off the cage.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you're definitely in the cage. I ain't going out that much. I'll be in that cage. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I've always said I would do that.
SPEAKER_01That would be cool. Never not in like San Francisco. I need to be in like the clear water though. Like, I want to at least see him coming. These crazy people that want to go like night diving with white sharks at the bottom of the, you know, they're like, oh, we're gonna go all the way to the bottom. Like, what the is wrong?
SPEAKER_06No, I just want to see one on the water. I don't need any, I don't need to go that far down.
SPEAKER_01You just want to see one. Yeah, you know, it's like it's I I've been obsessed with great white sharks like my whole life, so to see one would be cool as hell.
SPEAKER_06But I also don't know though, I was watching this one, it was a I can't remember what the name of the movie was, but it was a shark movie, and they lowered the cage down in it, and the whole plot of the movie was called Deep Blue, yeah, something like that, and the cage like uh chain snap and then like sent to the bottom.
SPEAKER_01I was like, oh fuck that I want to do the one that you know is like tied to the boat.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, that'll be that one. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's the one I wanted to.
SPEAKER_04I was like, man, honestly, dude, I just want to be able to put a mask on and put my head over. Let me stay on the boat and work face down in the water, check it out.
SPEAKER_06Oh, hey, there he is.
SPEAKER_01That might be the worst decision to put your face.
SPEAKER_06Bro, what if you put your face in the water and all the thing you the first thing you saw was big jaws open? That'd be scary shit, dude. Dude, that's my that would be my worst fear. Like, even just being attacked by a regular shark would be bad, but just a a great white, though, like, I know they probably kill you a lot faster, but I don't care. The thing is, is that like a lot of people survive usually.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because they just take a bite. It's not like an alligator. Alligator will grab you and then pull you down and death whirl you and gators don't usually.
SPEAKER_01Crocodiles, crocodiles are way more dangerous than the game.
SPEAKER_04Well, good no no crocodiles will chase you. Gators, what are you talking about, bro? If you you get a pissed-off gator to get on your ass or a hunger gator, he's going to bite you, take you down to the bottom of the bottom of the water, drown you, death roll you down there where your body's just so you drowned and beat, and he's chomping at you as he's doing it, and then your body's done and then he eats you.
SPEAKER_06But that also goes to show you how smart these creatures are that they know they can drown you.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Think about that. How do they learn that?
SPEAKER_01Because they anything. I don't know. Anything? Yeah. Instincts.
SPEAKER_04Years, instinct, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I mean, do like I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I do think about that as like people though. Like, what was the first? You know, like who was the first? Like, who was the first to look at a cow and go?
SPEAKER_06That looks I'll drink that. Yeah. I think that'll be good. Let's cook it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Let's fry her though. You know what I mean? Yeah, oh no. Like, who looked at a jalapeno randomly growing? But like we should put that on something. Obviously, the Spanish, probably. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Well, Dusty Slate has this great skit of comedy where he's like, who's the first person to think look at a cow? Like, we can drink cow's milk. I decided to picture a guy that said, I'll do it, and he goes around.
SPEAKER_03Do not do the dough. What did you say about the dog? Dog too.
SPEAKER_06He's like, dog, no, you don't want that. Goat, okay. That's good. That's good. But cow milk. Yeah, that's where it's at.
SPEAKER_04Goat milk's. That's what I've been doing lately.
SPEAKER_01I'm still waiting for someone to see like a manatee and be like, yeah, that's supple. That's what it's called a sea cow. It's gotta be good, right?
SPEAKER_04A manatee? Yeah. Well, they're so endangered, you can't even. He was joking, by the way.
SPEAKER_01But it's gotta be it's gotta be supple.
SPEAKER_04Maybe, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's called a sea cow. I mean, what if it's like the wagyu of the ocean? We're just missing out on it because you know, people can't.
SPEAKER_04So you just want to go murk a bunch of innocent fan.
SPEAKER_01I'm just I'm just asking. Like, what if it's like what if it's like water goose? We can't have any because people walk and pet this thing, bro. You know, maybe we are deprived on some amazing things because you just can't go through a no-wake zone with no wake.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I mean, I see what you're saying, but like even in the wild, like you can just swim up next to them and pet them.
SPEAKER_01Oh, dude, so I was in uh we used to do that in the springs. I was in the Keys uh a couple years ago. And so Liz is terrified of water. Terrified. And I'm offensive. Did you swim? Not really. Um so we were you ever been to the Keys? So you know, like on the like the side Yeah, you see this, you know, you go on the side of the road, you like get in the water and everything, right? So like right there off off of somewhere between Marathon and Key West, and just stop over and like, oh, let's get in the water. It was really clear, you know, and uh so she's got her face in the water, right? Like like barely, just a little face with like and I'm I'm over here just like and I'm snorkeling, right? And there's like these little tarpon that are just swimming all around. It's like oh this is cool, right? Next thing you know, she just bolts out the water. And I'm like, that's odd. And I turn around and I just see mass in front of me. And that scares you ever like I don't know if you've ever seen something like that in the water, but like you ever turn around and just see mass in front of you? Mass? Like body mass. All y all I saw was brown. Oh and I didn't know what the F it was. And I'm just this and r get out because I didn't know what it was. And it w I mean, you're in the keys. I mean, there's bull sharks and all kinds of stuff. So scares the shit out of me. Jump out. Turn around as a man to see.
SPEAKER_04Oh, really? Did you scream?
SPEAKER_01No, didn't scream. I just was like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_04You didn't, not even a look.
SPEAKER_01No, but like, but just shows me like she dipped. She's like, bye. Yeah, she's like, no heads up, no nothing. You fend it for yourself. Not like get out. No, just just bet. Just dips.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, death to us part actually means when you die, they're parting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Dip. Yep.
SPEAKER_04In a situation like that, she's gonna part, you're gonna die.
SPEAKER_01I will tell you though, it was scary. I mean, it was a big manatee. I mean, but it was scary because you didn't know what it was.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, huge, dude. People don't realize until they see them in person how big they are. They get big. I mean, when you swim next to them, dude, they're gonna gentle though. Yeah, they're gentle adjustments. You're over here wanting to just work a bunch of manatees over here, dude. Bull shark.
SPEAKER_01Farm to table?
SPEAKER_04Farm to table manatees. Jojo starts selling it out there. Jojo's farm you got a manatee?
SPEAKER_01Michael's over here acting like he wouldn't try it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, probably. Dude, they eat like whale and dolphin in like the Faroe Islands and stuff, so oh yeah. You ever seen like that man vs food kind of stuff where you know the dude, there's some crazy shit.
SPEAKER_04Well, dude, the uh the Knock Boys just had uh, what's the name? He's one of the Russian fighters. I can't ever pronounce their names. Um anyway, and like horse is a delicacy to them. And he was talking about it on the Knock Boys podcast, like horse. And he's like, no, no, no, it's good, it's good. Like you you come. I've heard that. We cook it. It's very yeah. He was like, oh, he was talking about it like it was a ribeye.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've I've actually heard that. I thought it was all obviously weird, but I have heard that before.
SPEAKER_04Well, because I think Americans, I mean, well, no, I mean there's other countries, Australia. I've been, people have dogs that they you know treat like Americans treat their animals, and Europe, I think, do does the same. But I think like, I don't know, maybe it's just like what I don't know, maybe it's just a Western or whatever. But um like those countries, they're not pets.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, like they don't look at them.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they weren't raised to look at them the way we look at our dogs. You know, dogs are our best friends, you know, cats. Dogs best friends, you know, animal birds, you know, people can get attached to any any animal that they've pretty much made anything a pet. Yeah, anything, yeah, anything's a pet, yeah. This is my emotional support ostrich. Um, but yeah, you know, it's so it's like, and you get emotionally attached, especially a dog, you know, a cat. I feel like those are the two big ones, but like they already burn out. Look at that, bro. There ain't no way you didn't go to lease. I was about to say, that's Boy Scouts of America right there.
SPEAKER_06Alright, oh Boy Scout Paul over here.
SPEAKER_01I know how to make a fire go.
SPEAKER_04Go out. Yeah. You're slowly getting yours. You're getting there. If you can bring us your Boy Scout patch, and if you're missing one, like a little boy from Up, I will get a patch that says fire maker. And we'll pin it on you. We'll have a ceremony.
SPEAKER_01I love how everyone just got quiet.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, well, sorry guys. We're we're watching this magnificent work of art to answer the question.
SPEAKER_04Bring bring you gotta bring your boy scout vest. Those coals right there, man.
SPEAKER_06If you had a those bad boys are hot.
SPEAKER_04Bro, you put a steak on above that and do some? Yeah, hell yeah, I always got meat. Yeah, meat I killed, buddy.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, there's a whole freezer in there just full of slab some meat on it.
SPEAKER_01That's what's that cowboy steak. Cowboy style. Bro, you imagine just throwing a slab of meat on that right now that might be a little frozen, flip it, give it 10 minutes, you get nice and chard on the outside and medium rare on the inside. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04You like your steaks burnt on the outside?
SPEAKER_01No, you I mean I just think it would be a unique flavor.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01How many people have you ever seen somebody like take like a frozen steak and put it on fire? Because I haven't. I mean, what would it what would happen?
SPEAKER_04A frozen steak and put it on.
SPEAKER_01I wonder what would happen.
SPEAKER_04I mean, that's it's probably I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I feel like it would cook awkward. It could be really good or really shit.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I could experiment. I can get get a cheap steak tomorrow, freeze the hell out of it, and throw it on the drill. Throw it on the grill, see what happens. Watch that cut, watch it be the best steak you're ever touched. It just changes America. Changes your life. This ends the wars overseas. It gets so good. People go. Trump calls me, Mike. You gotta come to the White House, dude. And I make it a good thing. And I go there, I go there, I go there and it's him and people of Iran.
SPEAKER_02They go, People of Iran?
SPEAKER_04He goes, You just created world peace. Yeah, he goes, buddy.
SPEAKER_01Does Iran even have cows?
SPEAKER_04We think we think we found what will bring us together. Yeah. That's you.
SPEAKER_01Taste this. That was oil.
SPEAKER_06It's gonna be this.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then and then they eat that steak and the people of Iran and they cry and they hug. It ends world ends the war in the Middle East, honestly.
SPEAKER_06I think you're on to something there.
SPEAKER_04I'll try it out. We don't know because we've never done it. Michael Ray 2028. Yeah, next thing you know, it's me and JD.
SPEAKER_01Vice president of Yeah, was not built to be a politician.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01No, I absolutely cannot.
SPEAKER_04I was born I was born in the wrong family to have the genetics to be a politician.
SPEAKER_06And you both.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's just not, it wasn't even in the gene pool.
SPEAKER_00The campaign would be fun though.
SPEAKER_04I hear stories about like my grandpa and his brothers, and my dad and his brothers and cousins, and my grandpa's cousins, and my great grandpa and all his brothers, and I'm like, oh, so this is just us. Yeah. So I grew up in a heal generational trauma, you know. And I'm like, there's some things I go to, and I'm like, guys, I just think that's who we are.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah. My my childhood was like an episode of uh the Beverly Hillbillies.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I just I just think uh odds are we're probably gonna wrestle you. Yeah. Just seem to be a j a generational thing, you know.
SPEAKER_01Might be the you know, better course of action.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, maybe.
SPEAKER_06We don't know, boys. That's the beauty of it. They're not knowing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Would you like to launch your presidential campaign live right now on offstage America? Negative.
SPEAKER_04I don't even want that as a joke out there.
SPEAKER_01You get at least three votes.
SPEAKER_06At least three.
SPEAKER_01At least three.
SPEAKER_06At least. I don't think that's enough to win, but you could at least vote for for president.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Very true, which is cool. That is a cool, that was a cool thing to say. Bro, what if here, but here's how we're never voted for yourself?
SPEAKER_01Here's how right in. I have.
SPEAKER_04No. No, I take my voting rights seriously, bro. I'm not just typing in Mickey.
SPEAKER_01I was like, well, if I don't know who this is, I have to do that. But here's the thing.
SPEAKER_04Here's what's crazy about this a this this time of life, right? All it takes is for some reason, because my real ass name is Roach, right? All it takes is for some high school kid to think or some 18-year-old kid to think that that's funny, and then they make a and then it becomes popular, and then people start voting for me. Next thing you know, I'm actually have a shot at running and make it president.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. President's popularity, you know, podcast would be way more lit.
SPEAKER_04President I would back out immediately.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. I'm done. If you had a chance, you wouldn't. Nah, if you took a microphone.
SPEAKER_04To be president, never not a date. Not a chance.
SPEAKER_01No, no chance you're backing out of that.
SPEAKER_04No, to be president, dude. No chance. I would back out of that. I'll tell you what I would do. I would I would go, hey man, listen, Mondo, you find somebody for the job, I'll step away. I just want to shadow him for a week just to see what it would have been like.
SPEAKER_01I want that power for I want to know the thing. I don't I don't want to be able to. I definitely wouldn't want to be president.
SPEAKER_04I don't want to know. I don't want to be the dude meeting with these people. Because here's the deal, man. Like you're it no matter what side drawn doesn't matter. We were, you know, it's you're going to piss off a lot of people no matter what. Yeah. And you're gonna make another half happy no matter what. Yeah. You know? And that's on both sides.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. No, 100%.
SPEAKER_04And then now people are just crazy.
SPEAKER_05Crazy lunatics. I'm cool.
SPEAKER_04I'm cool chilling in the woods. Once in a while yelling at my TV about the news going on.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, 100%.
SPEAKER_04Going to the gym.
SPEAKER_06We'll get we'll get a little, we'll get on, we'll get on one every once in a while, but then you know, we carry about life as normal.
SPEAKER_01You still don't want to have like you still don't want to know the things.
SPEAKER_06Not really, because I would do this. Hey, so here's the thing. Sometimes not knowing is a lot better than knowing. I want to know.
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_06Sometimes not knowing is a lot better.
SPEAKER_04No, you want to know why? You want to know why you don't want to know? Because in 10 years, when they're looking back and they go, we gotta murk that one guy. Who was at that meeting? Oh, yeah, that's a year in of him. He was there. And then they go, Do you know about this? You go, well, yeah, and then they go, pfft. I'm telling you. You know what they do? They look, they go, Well, I know who wasn't there, Michael. Oh no, see, see, he was playing, he was playing a nice acoustic number in the in the greeting lounge.
SPEAKER_01You wouldn't play my inauguration? Huh? You wouldn't play my inauguration.
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, I would play your inauguration.
SPEAKER_01See, I see here's the thing. I would make sure that if I go down, I'm going down with other people because I'd be like, yeah, oh yeah, they're all allowed in this meeting. You wouldn't even know what happened.
SPEAKER_06There's no I probably I probably could, but my I would draw the line. I could do mayor.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't want to be mayor. That's just may just hassle. It's basic basically a glorified babysitter.
SPEAKER_04It's all or nothing with Paul. Paul, listen. Either I'm chilling here or I'm running the country.
SPEAKER_06Either I'm just chilling or I'm gonna be president of the US. Okay, listen.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if you're gonna do it, you might as well do the big one.
SPEAKER_04Well, you kind of have to start somewhere though, Paul. You know what I would love to actually? No, I would still be like, hey, listen, I feel like we could work a deal out here. Yeah. I will back you. You just let me shadow where nobody knows I'm there, but I'd like to live it like I was present for a week. I mainly would like to know what you're giving them vitamin-wise and what they're getting in IVs and what they're taking, health-wise. Did you ever notice that you really don't? Trump the other day, he was speaking, might have been a month ago, he was speaking, sounded like he was congested. But I think that was when they were flying like cross-country, whatever. But you never really see a president sick. Yeah.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_01You ever think about that? No. But they can also disappear and you don't really notice for three or four days either.
SPEAKER_05Not Trump. Trump's on the news every single day. He's talking every day.
SPEAKER_01He doesn't have to get on the TV, just he'll just truth social, and you'd never know he had the flu.
SPEAKER_04But he's on TV every day. He is there is constantly right on the below of your screen.
SPEAKER_06Matter of fact, he went he went dark for two days, and people were making up things that he had died.
SPEAKER_04It'd have been two days and no one heard anything. Yeah, they were like, Trump. Something was wrong with him.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. He comes back and he's like, You take two days off and they make it.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, this son bitch went down an escalator and became the president. Like, what are you talking about? Who Trump? Yeah, he didn't have to start anywhere. He just said, Yeah, I want that job.
SPEAKER_04You hear about the Simpsons? Yeah. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. That is weird. It's like, it's like you're living in the Matrix, right?
SPEAKER_04Didn't they find out that like the the main writer was like Epstein connected?
SPEAKER_01Shocker.
SPEAKER_04Didn't they? Dude, if you think about it, bro, and listen, I love the Simpsons. Still watch it this day. I don't care. Um, bro, they are they're they're oddly on to a lot of things that they called. That's kind of crazy. You know what I mean? Like, it ain't just like a coincidence a couple times, it's very, very close. Yeah. A lot of times.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Also, that older show, I've heard comparisons to it. Was it the Jeffersons? That it was like Jeffersons. Yeah, it was like very close. Like stuff that happened in that show. I remember the Jeffersons, but I don't remember Jeffersons at the same time. Like, I remember the gist of the show, but I don't think I ever really watched it, watched it.
SPEAKER_04It was so funny, dude. I'm coming home. Constantly having a heart attack. That shit was so funny. Dude, that all in the family, dude. Those old classics matters. Oh, oh, TGIF, bro? Are you kidding me? You know what breaks my heart, dude, is these kids won't know the excitement of like we truly had to wait to see a show.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? Now it might come on at right after school at Power Rangers, but it'll do a rerum, it you have to wait the next week to find out what happened. Yeah, you didn't want to be that kid at school. Now you're a week behind.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Loser. Um behind during the slow class. Yeah, dude. Yeah, you're just freaking idiot. Um, but like I'll teach IF Family Matters, Full House, step by step. Remember that? Gold. Yeah. Um what else was there? Uh Saturday morning cartoons or Bill and I the science guy, or all these things.
SPEAKER_06Bill and I, yeah, the Bill and the Science Guy.
SPEAKER_04All these shows that like Recessed. Y'all remember Recess, dude? And then like when when Mr. Face, when Mr. Face with Nickelodeon and all those shows, Angry Beavers.
SPEAKER_06You remember that? I don't remember Angry Beavers.
SPEAKER_04You don't remember Angry Beavers, dude? Remember Rocco's Modern Life? Yeah, I do remember Rocco's Modern Life. That was that's one of my favorites, dude. But it was just like, I don't know, man. I feel like you know, Boy Meets World. I feel like those shows, look at him, just re he just reignited. Um I feel like those shows they were about real life. Yeah. Yeah, no, they were like you could connect your family, your house problems, your growing up with that show, and it kind of helped you as a kid.
SPEAKER_01When Steve Stefan Arkells that gave you hope, didn't it, Paul?
SPEAKER_04It did. You were like, I got I got freaking time is changed.
SPEAKER_01You know? Some of us became me, some of us became you.
SPEAKER_04Well, I do remember that first episode when he did that as a kid, my mind was blown.
SPEAKER_06So, what was your favorite, uh what was your favorite show when you were a kid? Oh, dude. Gotta choose one.
SPEAKER_01That's gotta be like different segments of your childhood.
SPEAKER_04Power Rangers when I was little, obsessed Ninja Turtles. Um Saved by the Bell, Boy Meets World. Um, all the TJIF stuff, full house, step by step. Uh, dude, Looney Tunes couldn't be like, Looney Tunes was a classic, dude.
SPEAKER_06That's I still watch Looney Tunes to this day.
SPEAKER_04When South Park came out, bro. I've seen every episode of South Park probably 50 times. I'm a child with that. But uh, but also like dude, like Rocket, like all the Nickelodeon stuff, dude. Rocket Power. Rocket Power is my jam. Dude, Doug, uh salute your shorts. Yeah. Pete and Pete. Like all those, all those, you know, I don't know. All those were just we watched all that shit, man.
SPEAKER_01I remember Family Matters and Family Matters. Full House, those were the two. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Bro, I grew up watching Sanford and Sun.
SPEAKER_04Sanford and Sun. So lost. That's what was fun about like growing up like around my grandparents so much is I got to watch a lot of so I grew up watching All in the Family, Sanford and Sun, the Jeffersons. Um, oh, I was I got it confused, bro, when you said Jeff. I thought you were talking about Sanford and Sun. Yes, I've heard that about the Jefferson. I know the Jeffersons were the neighbors to exactly, yeah, the space people. They uh they yeah, yeah, they were the neighbors to All in the Family.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So that's the smokiest fire ever. Well, because you threw a bunch of leaves in there, buddy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so it's kind of like smoking a sapp. Yeah, yeah, you yeah, because they're dry. They they drive, they f they're on fire fast because they're colleges. I do, inside by my beautiful fireplace.
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, okay. It's too little warm to light that on.
SPEAKER_04Just to the left.
SPEAKER_06To the left, to the left. But yeah, no, Sanford Sun was my jam. Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_04Or like I remember watching like uh The Gunman with my grandpa or uh Gunsmoke. The rifleman sorry, nothing. Little House on the Prairie. Little House on the Prairie. Why are we doing all these remakes, dude? Just leave them alone. I'm with the Netflix. Stop with really responses in June.
SPEAKER_06Well, dude, it's like it's almost like the we have no more original ideas anymore.
SPEAKER_04That's why there's so many people so scared to say anything or do anything. They're just making remakes making remakes because you can't re you just kind of stick to that pattern, right? And you can play safe. But like, come on, man. Like, just let some things have to be let let be. But think about it, right?
SPEAKER_01Like I mean, think about Avengers and everything. Everybody, you know, Chris Evans was done, Robert Donnie Jr. was done. Well, whoopsie poopsie, uh, they're back. Because n you know, A, maybe they're typecast, but B, you think uh, you know, I want to do other things, I don't want to you're you are Iron Man. Well, now you're not, but you are Captain America.
SPEAKER_04He's not Iron Man anymore?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_01Well, I didn't even know that. Robert Downey Jr. is back in Avengers Doomsday, and he is Victoria. Why do they do that? Oh, that we we can really like we'll be out here until like three in the morning talking about it. Okay, yeah. I didn't forget I asked that. There's a whole like did you not ask Did you watch them all the movies?
SPEAKER_04I mean, I've seen them, yeah, but I've never like I never really followed all that, like all the superheroes. I I liked them, but I never I wasn't like Yeah. Life was a little chaotic for a little bit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well a little. What did you do again?
SPEAKER_04When I was a kid. Well, no, no, no. When I was a kid, like with superheroes, would have been like a thing that you start to do. I meant with any superhero. That's what I said. I go, I go even when I was a kid, like with superheroes, like I liked them.
SPEAKER_06You don't know. Well, they could have been. Like there were the Marvel like comment books. Yeah. No, I didn't I didn't realize that uh he was no longer Robert Downey Jr.
SPEAKER_00back as Victor Von Doom. But there's a whole theory about Doctor Doom and everything.
SPEAKER_01It goes back to the last Avengers End game when he went back in time and all that kind of shit. Very interesting. Marvel's the only movie franchise that has done crazy arcs like that. Correct to where they tied shit into a movie. I mean, all their movies are great. Six movies ago, and then you have to like think about it, and then it comes out and you're like, holy shit. That just blew my mind.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it gets your heart racing sometimes. It does. Get your little tangly.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I get the vapors. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I'm just crying.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I found out there's a new Lord of the Rings movie coming out last like three days ago. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04I've never seen one Lord of Rings.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So I get to bring out all the talent that I had in my whole life.
SPEAKER_04What? What do you mean?
SPEAKER_01Oh god. God, I get to bring it all back. I can't even move like that, little sunbitch. I've never seen it.
SPEAKER_06I've never seen it. Nah, I haven't either. Why are you bringing her into it? Why are you bringing her into it?
SPEAKER_01Uh I can't believe you've never seen it. Fucking great movies. Books better. But the movies are better. That's what they all say. The books, I've read the books. Books are a fan, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm about to say.
SPEAKER_01Oh, love Lord of the Rings.
SPEAKER_06So are you a Harry Potter guy too?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_06That's odd.
SPEAKER_04Are you, or is it because you have to because I've never seen Harry Potter either. I've seen the first one. I'm more I was raised, I was raised brown uh Southern Baptist women. Yeah. And they thought if I watched Harry Potter, you're cursed and go to hell.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, I I am more of like the fantasy type movie, like the non-real movie. I didn't ask what you were into. Not born.
SPEAKER_04We didn't ask what you kinch were, Paul. It's not boring about you what your fantasies are.
SPEAKER_01It's the it's the it's the genre. Like, so I don't know what you're doing I like, you know, like Star Trek, Star Wars.
SPEAKER_04My grandpa was a big Star Trek fan.
SPEAKER_01Um things that probab would never that are never true, but it's just the imagination that's a good thing. Yeah, yeah, it makes you think. Yeah. Right. And I I guess like I I get Harry Potter's that way, but it's got like some sorcery and crazy.
SPEAKER_04I like the first Harry Potter. I probably should watch the rest of them. It was pretty good, but I was like if you're like 36, why is it worth the rings is starting? You know, or am I starting late?
SPEAKER_01There's a lot of masculinity in Lord of the Rings that you would that you get. Like it's just like it's good versus evil, right? It's against all odds. That's where we are. Not caring if you live or die that you're gonna go down swinging because fighting against evil is better than dying at the fire me up right now, bro.
SPEAKER_04I don't want to run through that fence.
SPEAKER_01You know, fight on your feet then die on your knees.
SPEAKER_04That ain't right, dude. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01So it's it's and those Tolkien had a lot of uh biblical metaphors and like real life metaphors from like World War II and things like that. So fired up. Just talking about if I watch Lord of the Rings, I'll go to a local bar and you'll you'll front kick people. I'll come back here, you have a sword and shit. What the hell just happened? Hair grow out. My name is now my guarantee, my name's Aragon now. Changed it.
SPEAKER_04Is it is it like a movie you have to is it take a long time to understand on the first movie? No, no, it doesn't take a long time to understand. I've I've recently grown to like that because of shows like Paradise and like um like Yellowstone was like that too. If you like Marshall's a good show. Marshall's is pretty good. That's that's grown. Um what's that? Adrena's been watching the other one that's has like Kurt Russell in it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, Mont the other Montana show. Like it's got that. Yeah, yeah. It's got um Michelle Pfeiffer.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, I can't think of what it is, but she likes that.
SPEAKER_01I think Kurt Russell's in another show, it's really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um Monarch, Legacy of Monsters.
SPEAKER_04Oh, Bad Fantasies.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Godzilla, all that other like it starts. Did you watch the um King Kong, the remake when it had like Tom Huddleston? Uh uh, Samuel L. Jackson ago. Monarch, right? So it starts basically, it talks about like kind of like the founding and then it bounces back and forth. So uh Kurt Russell's son actually plays younger Kurt Russell.
SPEAKER_04Oh really?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so but it basically arcs the modern day, all the movies and stuff that has happened with like the previous aspects of it, and then it ties into the new movies, which are I think which are good. So pretty cool.
SPEAKER_04Do you know uh do y'all remember when Ice Cube's son played him in The New Friday? Mm-hmm. So good. Or not The New Friday, in uh Friday after next. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_06He played him in uh I know the movie you're talking about. I can't remember. Uh Boys in the Hood. Boys in the Hood.
SPEAKER_04So good. Uh but speaking about Friday, I was thinking about Friday because Ice Cube. Those are three of my favorite movies, dude. Friday After Next, all of them are great. Friday, original Friday after next, bro. I still cry laughing.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah, they're fantastic.
SPEAKER_04And why every time I come in the kitchen, you be in the kitchen.
SPEAKER_02You be in the kitchen. Eating up all the food.
SPEAKER_06Dude, it's so funny, man.
SPEAKER_04So many incredible, like one-liners. That's another thing about movies, man. It was like growing up. I mean, I feel like it kind of stopped with like the Seth Rogan, the Will Farrell, all those guys that didn't.
SPEAKER_01They ended in 2000. The younger stuff that they did wasn't like Ferrell.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no. That's what I mean. I feel like it ended with like they were the last class of people that were like, yeah, dude. Where it's just like one liner after one liner. That's what makes you go back to a movie and watch it because they created something so funny that's stuck in your head, and you laugh to yourself when you say it. And then you watch it because it's funny and familiar. The hangover. You know, uh, the hangover. I've seen the hangover a hundred times. Dude, they don't make movies every time.
SPEAKER_06There's no movies like that anymore, dude. Never.
SPEAKER_04Hangover was probably the last. Well, I'm pretty pumped to see this uh Bus Boys that Theo Vaughn and David Spade put out are putting out because they're they've spent their own money, they have no ties to any production company, nothing. They spent their own money and did the whole movie. Really? Yeah. And so this could be something. This could be something. I mean, if you think about it, bro, if this goes big, yeah. It could relaunch like a whole it could relaunch people going, oh, I don't have to deal with this production company.
SPEAKER_06But it kind of that that era's already kind of started.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I guess you're right.
SPEAKER_01If you think about it though, like you've got the whole, like, I mean, Steve Carell and stuff talking about like you couldn't make the office anymore.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you couldn't no way, bro. You couldn't make 40-year-old vergid anymore. No, you couldn't make super bad anymore. No, that's you couldn't make could or or or uh uh knocked up. Could you imagine making knocked up right now?
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, dude, the office is still one of the greatest shows ever. Still, bro.
SPEAKER_04That uh uh Parks and Rex and Rex and Rex Always Sunny in Philadelphia. You just can't go wrong. You know what show we got hooked on? We for some reason Kira put it on when we were at uh let the Lake House in Havasu, and it was Young Sheldon, and I got to watch it at night. Audrey and I did, and then I got hooked on it, and I watched every episode of Young Sheldon in like three days.
SPEAKER_01Big Bang Theory was another good show.
SPEAKER_04Also a great show, but I never paid attention to him really. I thought I never even gave it a chance, yeah. Yeah, because it's I thought about Young Sheldon. I was like, that's probably corny. And I and I would see some my stepmom loved Big Bang Theory, so I'd seen episodes and they were pretty funny, you know. But like I was in high school as a teenager, you know, bouncing around, whatever. I never paid attention to it. It's freaking hilarious.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, literally.
SPEAKER_04And the way Young Sheldon ends, have have you seen it? No, the ending? Have you? Uh-uh. Boys with his dad. You will sob.
SPEAKER_01I saw I saw like that part.
SPEAKER_04You will sob. No, yeah. It's the saddest, bro.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I ain't even saying crying, I mean weep. We like reloads, his dad leaving.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. Where no, no, no. Well, there was a what's the I don't want to ruin it for everybody, but it's just sad, just heads up. I wasn't prepared.
SPEAKER_06What's the I don't forget the name of it, and I don't forget the actor's name, but what's the one that was really big about the UK soccer program? Um you know what I'm talking about. Ted Lasso? Ted Lasso. Oh, I heard that. That one, that one's a good show. Ted Lasso's awesome, and that's another one that's really, really, really funny. But then they had this moments where it really hits you in the gut, and it's like, oh man. So I've actually that's all Young Show, Young Show.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's interesting. Like Ted, like Ted Lasso, I've uh randomly and not on purpose, have been to multiple places that they film. So I was like watching uh it's season one. You yeah. So this is season one where they're where and and if you watch Ted Lasso, you know what I'm talking about. It's the game that they go play Everton, and they're like, Oh, we suck, fucking sucks. We gotta go to Everton because we haven't beat Everton and Everton since like 1956, right? And honestly, that shit is actually real. Yeah like there are actually clubs that have played each other that haven't beat each beat beat them in like 50 fucking years, right? So it's real. And uh so it goes there and they pull into the hotel and I go, wait a minute, that looks really familiar. Yeah, I stayed at the hotel. Yeah. Didn't know. And I did and then now that I rewatch it, I'm like, oh, the room looks the same because I got upgraded to a freaking like like did you ask for the room the same? No, no. I it was before the show even happened. Oh so before I even watched the show, like I got upgraded because like it was it's at Hilton, so I got upgraded. It was like a slow time of year, so I was in like that. That makes me feel good, doesn't it? I was in the lobby and all that. It was just cool. And so like you're see, I'm watching the show, I'm like, oh yeah, I've been there. Like I'm like, I knew that. And you know, the weird things, there's a couple other places where they film, and um there's some Harlan Coben shows that are on Netflix that filmed in Manchester, and I've was I've been in those neighborhoods because I've been to Manchester a lot over in England.
SPEAKER_04So it's we went and saw the full house house when we were in San Francisco, and then Googled Mrs. Doubtfire, conveniently located about 1.3 miles away from the full house house. So we walked to it, and it was like two weeks or a week at it wasn't long after Robin Williams had passed away. So it was kind of said they had flowers all over, people had left notes and like wrote on the sidewalk and stuff. But it is crazy seeing those iconic houses or those.
SPEAKER_01Did you go to those and see the blue door in Notting Hill?
SPEAKER_04No. I did go to the bar where the Beatles started. That was cool.
SPEAKER_01Liverpool. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh so the big the blue door of what?
SPEAKER_01You ever see Notting Hill? Hugh Grant and um uh what's her f oh my god. I don't know. Who's in the who's in pretty well uh Julia uh Roberts? Julia Roberts, oh Nottingham. I've seen it advertised. Oh great movie.
SPEAKER_04Um have you seen Notting Hill? He's nodding off over here.
SPEAKER_01It's like the blue door, and I actually saw it by accident. Saw it by accident. I was with my buddy and we were riding bikes around London, just weirdly don't even remember what I'm gonna do.
SPEAKER_04Just accidentally went on a date with your friend?
SPEAKER_01No, we were we were like, we just didn't want to go on the tube. We said, well, let's just do it.
SPEAKER_04We started with a nice cold coffee and got some bikes and rode around town and took a couple selfies with the bridge behind us.
SPEAKER_07Listen, it was great.
SPEAKER_04Sold upon a nice romantic comedy. One thing led to another thing led to another shout out, Kyle.
SPEAKER_02Shout out Kyle. Oh my god, that's so funny.
SPEAKER_01Me and Kyle were exclusive whenever I went to the UK. It was great. I mean, he was in the military. I would tell him I was coming over like four or five weeks over, he would just take leave, and we'd just get in all kinds of trouble. It was great.
SPEAKER_06We got like a secret? No. No, it was wide open. That's good.
SPEAKER_01We went to college together, so it was it was Oh, okay. So you're experimenting.
SPEAKER_06That's okay, Paul. We're not judging. This is a trust fire.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, all these all these jokes become way less funny when he goes on tour and we end up in a bus with him at some point.
SPEAKER_04All this smoke, all this smoke is all your bad choices going away. Yeah, nobody knows. Uh that's funny.
SPEAKER_06So what else? What else we got going on in the in the world today that you guys like to talk about?
SPEAKER_02Anything? I don't know, dude. I think we won't be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04I'm pretty I'm pretty pumped for Mania. Um Mania Night One. It was alright. Wasn't great. It was by far nowhere near, like we said earlier, the best WrestleMania. But um I want to shout out my boy Chris, who had his uh last bare knuckle fight. He announced his retirement because he's expecting his baby girl being born um soon. Uh he did not win, but it was a war because he's a freaking warrior, dude. This dude, you should look at his fights. It's insane. Um so shout out to him. Congrats on your retirement, buddy.
SPEAKER_06Um, yeah, I think I'm it's uh yeah, I think that's about and it's also like almost two in the morning here, so oh is it? I feel like our brain is kind of our brain is kind of scattered right now.
SPEAKER_04You said what? Yeah, kick Paula in my house. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01So let's back all this shit up again.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Oh, he's motivated. Yeah. Hey, and we got it done. Sound opportunities and look at us now. Shout out, Brady. Shout out, Brady. Shout out Brady. Y'all be safe out there. We love you. God bless, and uh, we'll talk to you next episode Off Stage America. See ya.
