The Seven Five - Part 2
Sh*t I ramble about, like music, technology, women, MMA, women's basketball, cartoons, digital forensics, government, military, law enforcement, pretty much all first responder topics, 3D, Pepper's Ghost, and some other stuff, I think.
I know a bit about technology. Teaching. Building networks. Infrastructure. Libraries. Other stuff. Answered the phone a lot for free, in the middle of the night, helped some folks. For more on my background, visit https://digital4ensics.com
Anyway, should be interesting. Hope you'll hop on board. Keep being great & doing great things!

Nerds and Nonsense was recorded to hard drive in front of her previously recorded studio audience. Hey, how the hell are you, man? Listen, I am still on vacation and I'm getting so much stuff done around the house. Had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with the family. Mom had a great Memorial Day weekend back home in New York. The weather here in the Pacific Northwest this week has been just gorgeous. In the 90s, working in the yard, working on my deck, working on my uh scholarship and my podcast and a website. I'm offering some new services now to the Spokane area, including uh virtual reality tours of properties, businesses, so on and so forth, uh, as well as audio production services worldwide, of course, but new things that I'm adding to the site for my transition into semi-retirement and what I'm calling my 40 hours a week from here on out. You know what I mean? But in any case, I wanted to let you know, I wanted to let listeners know that the scholarship is one day away from a week old, and we are looking at a goal of about$2,885 a week. At that rate, we would reach$150,000 in a year. So we didn't make our goal for this week, and there's gonna be a lot of weeks like that, so don't let it get you down. You know, this takes time, things take time, and reality especially takes time. People like to take reality in small doses, and so you know, a lot of the grandiose things that I've said that I've released that people from one part of my life never knew about my previous part of my life, that career, because they didn't need to. And that's who I am. I don't talk about those things. I never talked about those things when I went from, you know, working as a short order cook or working on a farm to becoming a short order cook, and from a short order cook, you know, into the s you know, service, and from the service into radio, and from radio back into government, and from government into private, you know, uh industry and forensics, and then from that to a vendor, uh working for a vendor, and all the time, you know, trying to stay afloat and do the right thing for the right reasons. And I feel pretty good about what I've done. Uh, I've accomplished uh a hell of a lot with the help of my friends in the past, and it's largely due to my friends that I'm able to be in a position to help more people. Not with my money, because damn it, I don't have any folks. I owe a lot of people money, but I pay my bills on time, and that's all that matters to me. As long as I'm able to do that, I'm good. However, I have a lot of friends with money and friends with connections to people who have money, even money that is, you know, laid aside for donating and doing things for the greater good, which has been the story of my life. Ask anyone who knows me personally. And we're gonna do a lot for the greater good with this scholarship, and I really, really am looking forward to the future, uh, both with my employer, with uh my uh scholarship and podcast, and and you know, promoting education, mental health, and digital forensics, because there just really wasn't any help for me. You know, when you're creating an industry, when you're creating a field, those things aren't around. You have to put them in place. And and trust me, many programs are being put in place, have been put in place, but we need more. We need more awareness of of this topic and and several others, as well as accreditation of labs and certification programs uh also need to be accredited. So there's a lot to be done, and we can do it. You know how I know? Because we've done it before, I've done it before. Every time I've set my mind out to something grandiose like this, I get it done not by myself, with the help of my friends. And my friends, we are gonna get this done too. So don't let uh this week's uh shortfall get you down. We are gonna raise$150,000 uh to raise awareness on some of these issues and put some uh students, you know, qualified students through some of the best education available for digital forensics, one of the most important topics going forward in our digital world, right? Wouldn't you think? I I agree. So thank you so much for everything on the podcast front. We're gonna get back to regular monthly episodes. So, not a lot of these manic little tiny posts that I've been doing here. You're gonna have regular monthly episodes. If there's time, I hope to do bi-monthly episodes. I've already got some guests lined up that that since I don't have time to usually reach out to guests, that's why we haven't had a hell of a lot of them. I I have had a few reach out to me, you know, when I was hospitalized and things of that nature. So we'll have some guests in in future episodes and things of that nature, monthly, possibly bi-monthly. So, but not a lot of this random stuff that that'll be in the episodes and the manic releases. So I appreciate your understanding of all of that, and and I hope you have a great evening, great day, uh, whenever it is uh that you're listening to this. Thank you very much for being you.
