SPEAKER_02Hey, we uh me and Joe and I'm still in our first season of respectfully wrong when we rank in wrestling, and there was this big event that just happened. Well, I mean, it is the big event. I don't know how big it was anyway. Uh they just had WrestleMania. So just the idea, why not rank the top 10? Cool, but then over on from my perspective, we was gonna discuss WrestleMania anyway. So why not we bring it all together? Do it as a team situation. So respectfully grown from my perspective, Dion is her. What's up, Dion?
SPEAKER_01Ain't nothing much, you know. I'm glad to be here to talk about some wrestling, because it was a half good show last week now. That's what I'm gonna call it. It was a half good show.
SPEAKER_02Yes, that's who we're at calling. And then of course, Joe is her. What's up, Joe? What's up?

SPEAKER_02So we heard we're gonna rank, and if y'all, you know, say if it's your first episode, or y'all on the front of my perspective feed. What we are what we do over respectfully wrong, we're gonna give our personal top 10. It's what we think. Then at the end, we're gonna come to a collective of decision or we're gonna rank the top 10 from this year's WrestleMania. What's it 42, Joe? 42?

SPEAKER_0240 WrestleMania 42, you know what I'm saying? And that's how we're gonna do it. So anybody would want to volunteer and go first with their number 10.
SPEAKER_01The women's tag match.
SPEAKER_02Well, damn, just go come out there. All right, why why was that your number 10?
SPEAKER_01I had to put some there. Once I got to like past like seven, it was like uh I know what to put. And I I enjoyed this match somewhat. I couldn't put uh those two matches, what I think we couldn't put what three or four matches on there. I couldn't put the any of those other matches on before I edited that one.
SPEAKER_02Okay. All right, all right.
SPEAKER_01Um we had a great comeback.
SPEAKER_02Okay, cool. So I I should have asked this before. How are y'all ranking this? Are y'all ranking this on the quality of the match or what happened in the match?
SPEAKER_01A little bit of both.
SPEAKER_02Uh you ordered it. A little bit of both. A little bit of both.
SPEAKER_01That was one there's one match we'll get to it. I feel like the conference was great, but I feel like the storytelling, well, the storytelling, I felt like they didn't get to the point where I felt like they should have got to, but we'll get to that later.

Bottom Of The List Debates
SPEAKER_03All right, Joe. What is your number team? My number 10 is gonna have to be Pim Balor and Dominic Mysterio. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Good match. You know, I feel like the hype, obviously, like we had talked about it before, the hype of having the demon back just kind of it was an intro about. It was thank God it let the demon win, because Lord knows he couldn't have taken another loss as he just comes back as the demon. But would have been over. I don't know. Maybe I just maybe I just don't get into the character as much as some people do, but I just I felt like you know, once they got the match going, it was just kind of like, all right, cool. This could have just been Finn Balor, but probably would have been better if they hadn't announced it ahead of time.
SPEAKER_02Yep, yep, I agree with that. I agree with that, definitely. All right, um my number team. I don't know how y'all gonna feel about this. My number team is Leah versus Stephanie back here. I felt like I don't know, I was expecting more. That's the thing. It wasn't if we're going off the quality of the match, I guess maybe it could have been higher, but I was expecting more from mainly from Stephanie. So of course I predicted that Stephanie was gonna win, but it wasn't that wasn't even that. She got wrestling still and lived as came a wet came a long way in the right in the mat in the rain. But between that live entrance and then the disappointment, or I was expecting more because I knew judgment day was coming out, but I don't know. I just for me, that was number team. Yep, all right. Uh Dion, your number nine.
SPEAKER_01My number nine is actually uh Finn down. It was I I enjoyed the entrance. The match wasn't awful. They did try to build up the demon a lot more, so I'm assuming we're gonna see the demon back here soon. Probably not soon, but we'll see the demon again. I'm okay with that. The fact that it was a street fight helped it out a lot. I can't complain. Solid match.
SPEAKER_02Okay. All right, absolutely. I can feel it, I can feel it. What you what say you jump?
SPEAKER_00I'm I'm gonna have to throw a number nine, man. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton. I can't go any higher with this shit.
SPEAKER_02Hey, well, I got my number nine too, though.
SPEAKER_00See, see, again, we do this a lot. Uh you know what, man, I don't even want to sit here and say too much on it. I just my head, I scratched my head so much every time I turned around. I was just like, now he's RKO and what like what's going on here? Like, it's is he good? Is he bad? The coolest part, and I want to say it's the coolest part of this match because you know, obviously, Cody's eye is so jacked up right now, but it was just like the the punt at the end, and you know, the they got a little bit, you know, a little but a little bit of blush on there. Seems like WWE's leaning a little bit more into blood nowadays than before.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but my it was so confusing. That match was just too much.
SPEAKER_02Look, so it wouldn't even go make my list. That's right, but then I was like, man, it's Cody and Randy, so I guess it's gotta make my list. But like you said, the match was so huh?
SPEAKER_03That's what that's the match was so what I don't then the whole I'm a I'm gonna I'm gonna get Pat McAfee now.
SPEAKER_02Pat McAfee ain't in wrestling no more. So y'all did that for it to be over so quickly. Like I don't the build for Randy and Cody was better than the match, and it wasn't like the build was all that great.
SPEAKER_03It wasn't the build was better, but I feel like it's I gotta put it at nine because it's Randy and Cody.
SPEAKER_02I don't even I don't even know where they go from here with Cody because it's like okay. What do you do?
SPEAKER_00You see him at Raw?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's uh yeah we don't Oh my god did he see Did he see himself in a row? The way that he probably barely saw it, it was probably blurred.
SPEAKER_02But they gotta help him down the they gotta get they gotta help him down the roof, probably bro. All right, so yeah, yeah. My number nine is also a random caller. So like I said, they barely made my list. All right, yeah, what you get?
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm gonna preface this by saying I enjoyed the message that I I made my list. I enjoyed in some way, shape, or form. My number eight was Drew Jacob. I don't know, I just wasn't into it as much as I thought I would be, but it was a solid bout. Uh we'll talk, we'll have to talk about more of my seven when we get there, but my seven will probably be a little bit controversial considering how y'all felt about the match.
SPEAKER_02Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool. So number eight. All right, uh Jeff, what is your number eight?
SPEAKER_00Number eight, Becky and AJ. Yeah, I mean, I don't know, maybe they just kind of they've already done the match so many times that a little bit of the excitement kind of faded away from it. Okay. It was a good match nonetheless, you know, and I'm glad to see I'm glad to see Becky win because like we talked before, I don't feel like AJ's, you know, the person that's gonna be out there every week. You know, she's she's definitely gonna be like a part-time of just showing up occasionally. So no real sense for her. She doesn't need a belt at this point. Like her name and her, you know, like her brand carries enough weight to where she doesn't need to hold the title, not especially not for a long period of time, you know, like coming in occasionally, yeah. You could win one and carry it to the next event to put somebody over. But it's good.
SPEAKER_02Um my number eight is the street fighting with diamond fin. And it's number eight, even though they let us know that the demon was coming back. I still love the entrance.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I wish it was nighttime. No more daytime, WrestleMania.
SPEAKER_00No, no kidding, no kidding.
SPEAKER_02Because the Obi thing, the Obi entrance fell completely off. Yeah, the old the Opera entrance normally has some mustard to it because it'd be dark. And then these green lights pop up. That's daylight. It's a somebody telling, go what we do, it's just a traffic time.
SPEAKER_00What the heck is it? It was what? It was like three o'clock there, whenever you know what I'm saying, right?
SPEAKER_01I don't like it's so if y'all do it, it gotta be make it to go to an arena that you can make it completely dark. You can't do that at Elysium Theater. Right.
SPEAKER_02Uh it's gotta be, like I said, it's gotta be nighttime. It's gotta be nighttime. Uh so where are we at?
Cody Versus Orton Ending Fallout
SPEAKER_01Number seven. Uh personally, guys. I got Cody Punk. I'm not Cody Punk, I got Cody um Cody uh Randy. I enjoyed the match. So when it when it comes to what I know, liking a match, do you like you were in work? Is it sometimes it's you were you happy with the outcome or how the outcome came? This one, I wasn't happy with the how the outcome came. I like everything leading up to just Cody, leading up to the end. If if Cody had just done something, if Cody had turned hill, kicked Randy with a punt, it would have been top three. I was feeling it. Cody working heel, Randy working baby face. I'm just I'm just assuming I'm about to get this double turn. And then Randy RKO, Pat McPhee. I was ready, I was ready for the Cody Rose Hill turn. I was ready. And then he just regularly ordered. So this was about to be top three. They sold me on it. They got Pat McPhee out of there early with the jelly roll thing. The match was cool. They was telling the story with Randy's back. I was invested. Randy working his baby, Cody working his hill, and then they just ended it with Cody winning. Then they added the X stuff at the end with basically Randy Stan Hill, gave him the punt, Cody, Cody stand baby face. All it was missing was a Cody Rose Hill turn to win the title, but to keep the title, but it didn't happen. You're right.
SPEAKER_02You're right. If Cody would have turned hill, it would have been about three match. But because of some fact we did that, and then I also don't. I felt like getting Pat McAfee also getting Pat McPhee out the way took a little too long. Like, why did Jelly Roll then jump on him quicker? I felt like it was prolonged, right? I feel like if we had to go ahead and get him out the way as soon as he came down the entrance, Pat McAfee just gave him the cold, you know what I'm saying? The cold one, two on the entrance rail, I would have felt better. I think it would have made, I don't know. I just think it would have been better. So yeah, that's why uh that's it was another reason why it's a lower for me. Uh my I'm gonna do my number seven with Joe. We'll come, we'll come back. Uh my number seven is Trick Williams versus Sammy Zane. Okay, you know what I'm saying? Um it's it's trick, you know what I mean? Trick was gonna trick Williams was gonna make my list of boss, you know, because I've been seeing him everywhere. He's doing all the podcasts, he's doing all the pop-ups. He he's he's out here selling WrestleMania more than I seen anybody else selling WrestleMania. Magic, that might be my algorithm from the stuff I already watch, so that maybe that's why I seen so much trick. But I've seen trick at the physics, I've seen trick at Rory and Mall. Trick Williams out here selling WrestleMania, like like you know what I'm saying, his life depends on him. So, but then we get into the match, and it would all it also would have been high, same thing, like you said with Cody turning heel. If we would have had that Sami Zayn heel turn, because they was booing the hell out of that man, yeah. Every time he took a step, it was oh don't don't let him get a lick on trick. I they start cussing that man out. So, yeah, that's my uh my number seven, trick Williams versus Sami Zayn. Joe, what about you?
SPEAKER_00Actually, that's my same thing.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I said you're trying to look at my list, and I switched some things around. I was like, wait a minute, my number seven. No, I've already said that one. Yeah, yeah. Really, and I guess I kind of followed the same stuff as you was um the one you sent me with uh Jay and Cameron.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That got a lot of attention.
SPEAKER_02It did, it did, it got a lot of people talking. I was the Cameron, you know, he come through, come through WWE, have a little situation. That would be cool.
SPEAKER_00That would be cool. Hey, uh if he comes out, do you think he's gonna like wear all pink or is he? I don't know if he's still doing that.
SPEAKER_01I mean, he's still doing that.
SPEAKER_02I was about to say, I don't know if I don't know if they will understand him wearing all B. Like we understand him with an R. He comes in with the big T. We understand. I don't know if they, you know what I'm saying, will understand the other wrestling fans. Some of them, yeah, but majority of them wouldn't. They'd be like, who is this guy?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I hear dipset anthem at a show, dog. I'm losing my money.
SPEAKER_02Hey, dipset anthem in the WWE arena would be all right. Um, number six, DM.
SPEAKER_01I actually got the trick semi match at my number six spot. It was cool, nothing spectacular. A lot of these matches the worst short. It's probably this part could have benefited being a little bit longer, but they didn't need to do that long. It didn't need to be that long. It did get the job done. I was satisfied with the air work and the outcome, so I'm not I'm not upset. Okay, cool, cool, cool. Joe, what about you?
SPEAKER_00I got Drew and Jacob at number six. You know, I love Jacob, man, and I feel like Drew really brought out something in him, and they both did really well together. And you could just tell, like, how emotional a moment it was for Jacob being there and being involved in that. Like, you know, you hear him talk about it even afterwards during interviews, man. He just like he almost starts crying just talking about the excitement and the energy and just feeling that moment, and you can you can tell.
Midcard Picks And Surprise Returns
SPEAKER_02Okay. I was gonna I was waiting until you guys you talked about Drew. I know Deion already put it on his list. Uh full transparency moment, her I didn't see the Jacob and Drew McIntyre party. So that's why it ain't on my list.
SPEAKER_01It was a little late to the TV that day, huh?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, just go put that out. You know what I'm saying? Just go put that out. As you know, I was on the road, yeah. And my sister was when I was driving, she had the phone to where I could see it and listen to it at the same time. For some reason, when this match was on, the phone moved to her other leg, and all I could do was hear it, so I know I heard the entire match, and I seen a little bit because we I saw the ending, okay, but because we had pulled up to the rest out, but I ain't see I didn't see the time match, so I didn't feel comfortable putting it on my list.
SPEAKER_01Gotcha.
SPEAKER_02So that's why I just I just wait till it's catching purpose. That's why true and Jacob is not on my list. Like I said, I saw the ending, but I ain't seen the full time. So yes, that's why they didn't make my list.
SPEAKER_01Uh five.
SPEAKER_02Oh, wait a minute, hold on. Where are we at? Joe, you just did yours, I gotta do man. You just did your oh yeah, you gotta do yours, yep. Yeah, because I didn't get to see the what I mean. I feel it's gonna be a lot of judgment with this pick, and that's okay. You know what I'm saying? Uh I feel like the main person who's gonna judge me is Dina. But is uh the women's tag team actually? Okay, I'm mad at it. And the the reason is the reason it's her is because how many page came back? I do I have to have anything else? Like I have to have another reason, and it was I like the fact that they didn't just cancel the entire situation because Nikki was hurt, so they found a replacement. And I had seen the I think it was that day or the day before the WWE.
SPEAKER_01Yep, I did see that and page lighter.
SPEAKER_02I didn't think she was gonna come pop out and wrestle mania or just fight. So I think that's I think that's part of the reason why that match might have been shorter, because seems like they didn't have a lot of time to prep because she was, you know, maybe last minute situation coming in. So yeah, for that reason, the uh the women's tag is at six. I understand why it might shouldn't be that high to other people I respond, but yes, I got women's tags, and I also won't see what they do with all of these tag teams now that this is over. Because the forces, Charlotte and Alexa, okay. Where are y'all going? What are we doing? We're gonna get y'all in tag teams, we're gonna make y'all some single competitors again, like WWE typically does, because R's gotta fight somebody, yeah, over on SmackDown. I don't think it's gonna be Charlotte because they already ran that, you know. What was that? Last WrestleMania, two WrestleMania's ago.
SPEAKER_01Two that was two WrestleMania's in a row, something like that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so that's already open. So I won't, you know, it's got is it Lash?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. You think it's gonna be EO?
SPEAKER_02No, Eo's gonna stay on raw.

SPEAKER_02Yeah, Eo stay on the raw. Oh, she's on raw. Yeah, okay. Yeah, she's on raw. Okay. So yeah, all right, Dion, your number five.
SPEAKER_01Uh my number five. It might be a little controversial because it's a little it's kind of low. But Steph and Gunther, it's at five. And the only reason why it's at five, nothing with the in-ring. The in-ring was excellent. I knew these two guys were gonna put on an excellent uh pay-per-view match. But what one they kind of threw it together. So it really wasn't I had that much interest in it. And two, I knew exactly what was gonna happen. I knew Braun was gonna come out. I knew he was gonna spare himself. But the in-ring work was great. Predictive, imagine predictable isn't bad, but it just I just couldn't put you above the other four where I didn't know who was gonna win those games and I was super winning those matches and I was super invested in them as well. And this one didn't have the build behind it, and me not having the build behind it, knowing how exactly it was gonna end, but the in-run work was good. I had to put it in the middle of packet number five.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I respect it. You know, everybody type to their opinions, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Um I got Rhea and Jade.
SPEAKER_02What are we doing? Why are you copying off my paper? Like, what are we school? Why are you copying my paper? Yeah, I guess. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Make sure you look, make it look original. Yeah, like yeah, you can copy off me, but just make it look like your own.
SPEAKER_02Change a word or two, put it in your own language, shoot. Yeah, but yeah, no. I got it was I got them too.
SPEAKER_00It was good, man. It really was. You know, I kind of felt like I felt like the outcome was I didn't think they were gonna let Jade keep it. I just had that feeling, you know, like she's not gonna keep this one. She's gonna she's gonna lose to Rhea, they're gonna let Rhea have it, and there's gonna be interference. So, you know, kind of like what Dion said with the Gunther and Seth match, it's like you knew it was gonna happen. I guess I was just kind of like, all right, let's see how they get there.
SPEAKER_02Look, I feel like I feel like in this match, Jay showed that she can wrestle and that she can compete. And so maybe people will stop bullying her online and talking about how she needs to be in an in NXT training some more. I hope that's what this does. So I feel like it was a good wrestling match. Rhea don't put on bad matches, and they them two kind of go together. I don't know if they're gonna run it back. They probably should have run it back again at backlash just until they find somebody for real to fight. But yeah, so yeah, I got it in number five.
SPEAKER_01I want y'all to put a pen in that for later on. I just want y'all to put a pen in that. But uh my number four is over Brock. Short match did exactly what it needed to do, had the right outcome, uh, had the emotional aspect with Brock Lesnar retiring, seemingly. We'll see. But no, did what it needed to do was a Brock Lesnar match. Wasn't a great Brock Lesnar match. Usually Brock Lesnar has great matches with smaller people. His uh matches with other monsters is usually paid by numbers. This was a little bit different because he put you know was selling for over a lot more than he normally would in the other match, but they did what he needed to do. Right outcome, over Brock was number four for me.
SPEAKER_03Okay, all right, uh Joe, what's that?
SPEAKER_02You at number four?
SPEAKER_00I got the ladder match at number four, man. That was that was insane. You know, they only gave you guys like what about 15 minutes of time, and they used that so wisely. And you were seeing guys pulling off stunts. I mean, you know, even going into the match, I said something about uh Russif. I was like, I feel like he's the odd man out, but they still they were able to play into that, you know what I'm saying? About him like not being a high flyer like the rest of these guys. So they utilize him correctly in the match, and Javon doing the cutter off of uh the ladder onto him on another one and taking him down.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that cut on Rusev.
SPEAKER_03Woo big, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh my number four, I'm going with Dion, is also Oprah and Brock. The mat, like Dion said, the match was short, but it delivered. It passed the torch. That's what that match was supposed to do. It was supposed to pass the torch, it was supposed to build towards Obi being Oba Femi being that next guy. And it did it did exactly that. Even and what also helped that was in the press conference and the post match, post WrestleMania, whatever you're gonna call it. The press conference at the end, Roman Roman ignored Roman, the new champion, the big dog on campus, acknowledged Oba and said, Hey, I see you. Let's see what you do during the song. Come holler at me later on. Well, let's get you through, let's get through the song. So I I respect I respect that. That's why I got over and feminine, and my number four as well.
Building The Top Five Matches
SPEAKER_01All right, uh, my number three is the ladder match. Joe said it. Excellent match. It's hard for a ladder match to be bad. There they do what they do, it's a car crash of a match. They didn't do too much crazy stuff, but they did just enough crazy stuff to keep me interested. Uh and it was, I didn't expect Pincer to win, but he did retain, so shout out to Pincer.
SPEAKER_03Right. Know what you're thinking, Joe. Number three.
SPEAKER_00So y'all's number four is my number three. Uh Oba and Brock. Short and sweet match. Really just got straight to the point, you know. Like we've already talked about though, those intros. Thank God, they just could have been so much better things that night. But besides that, you know. What that match total out to be like four minutes and 45 seconds, I think you said something like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, something like that.
SPEAKER_00It wasn't even a full five minutes, but the reason why I'm gonna rank it so high is it was the ending after the match, you know, like the part that you didn't see coming. And whether or not he is retired now, or if this is something part of a longer storyline, you know, to go on. I thought it was really cool to see Brock show a human side of him that we don't see too often, you know, like when he's bawling his eyes out or whatever in the ring. And then as he's walking back, like you know, acknowledging fans and like thanking them and talking to them and just sounding very down-to-earth. It's like that's something we don't really see too often from Brock, especially in the ring. You know, you might see an interview here and there where he's like talking like that, but as a character, it just kind of added more to him. So I was like, you know what? I I kind of like this guy a little bit more now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I still like enough forget what he did to Kofi there one time. But yeah, besides, you know, he, you know what I'm saying? It did. I'm a hate. I'm a hate. Because that wasn't even though.
SPEAKER_01It wasn't right, it wasn't right.
SPEAKER_00That ain't never gonna be right either. That ain't never.
SPEAKER_02I was just saying, we we can't forget like that didn't happen. Like, so yeah, but now besides that, you know, now you're right, it did show a whole human side, a human element to him that we haven't seen before. Cool. Um where we at three, uh, Gunther September. That's my number. Okay. Uh I feel like it was a real good match. It was, it was. So now we're in the position for me for my list, is the matches I actually enjoyed.

SPEAKER_01Like it's kind of good way to start. It wasn't a good way to start the show.
SPEAKER_02The best part of the match was speed. Am I lying? Like, speed was the best part of that match.

He was up there longer than the actual match was.

I don't know how she did it. I watched it twice. I'm like, how did she finesse that? But and also I wasn't 100% sure who was gonna win it. I was probably leaning more towards Rhea, but there was a point. I thought Jay was gonna pull that out, but she was that they was hooping. And I'm ready to see part two. They was hooping. That's my number two.

SPEAKER_00My number two is Gunther and Rollins. They delivered, they did what they needed to do, you know. Anytime you put Gunther in the ring, anytime you put Seth in the ring, it's always gonna be that. It might have been thrown together just absolutely at the last moment, which does affect it. But if I overlook that and I just look at the end ring quality, yeah, it was a hell of a match. The ending, like you know, like Beyonce said, we all knew what the ending was gonna be. We all knew Braun was coming back out. We we expected that, but I was happy to see it still because Braun's dope. I can't wait to see what they do with him.
SPEAKER_02He the rumors came out that he got medically cleared like what the week the week right before WrestleMania?
SPEAKER_01The week that they set up the Gunther Seth Rollins match, yeah, he was cleared.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so like that is too late. Like we had we had to be so now I understand. Uh my numbers who was the ladder match, like Dion said, you can't mess up a ladder match, and they didn't mess it up. Between the OG cutter coming off the you know what I'm saying, the what they call them, the Mexican destroyers or whatever. Like on the ladder? Oh yeah, oh yeah. No, you can't mess up, you can't you can't mess up the ladder match, and they did not mess it up, and then the short time that they had, which is a like a running theme for this WrestleMania, the short time that everybody had, the past the two anyways for that, it's number two, yeah. It's number two.
SPEAKER_01Um so we have this number one, and if it's not what I think it is, respectfully, both of the times are wrong, and I was gonna walk off this show.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we I mean we all know what number one's gonna be, right?
SPEAKER_01We all got the same number one. I'm I was expecting shit because I hey somebody might think differently. What ain't nothing left?
SPEAKER_02That's not just left. It was only so many matches, it ain't like they had a female title match to put on her, you know what I'm saying? But yeah, we all got the same number one, you know why you got it in number one.
Why Punk Versus Roman Wins
SPEAKER_01It was just perfect, man. The storyteller, there was what there was one aspect of the the match that had people that had a lot of people like, what? Why they do that? The commentary, which again, why I low-key preferred watching wrestling shows at home. The commentary kind of saved it a little bit. I bet people at home, people that was watching it live was there was like, huh, it didn't make no sense. Shouldn't that be a DQ? But the moment Roman hit co uh Roman hit Tim Punk with the steps. Commentary saved it, basically said, hey, you don't want to throw out a main event in WrestleMania. They saved it a little bit. Still a little odd thing to do. But outside of that, storytelling was great. Um Punk has won uh what how many what three matches that way where he hits the go to sleep, the guy bounces off the uh the ropes, comes back on the shoulder, and every time he's hit it the second, he's hit it the second time to get the victory. It was a nice touch to do that, but this time CM Punk didn't have enough to pull it off because he's old. That was part of the story they built leading up to the match. He didn't have enough. Roman pulled it off. Great match, great ending. Chef's kiss. They was bro. I I tweeted like in the middle of the match, like this is the match of the night before they even got to the end. It was that good. Why you got to know number one?
SPEAKER_00Bro, the storytelling that they built up to this match, I felt like they put they put more effort into this one match, and I get because it's the main event, but they put more effort into this one match than they did like everything else around WrestleMania.
SPEAKER_02Okay, they put more interest in everything else, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, exactly. And so, you know, when you've got that kind of a high expectation for them to go out there and deliver on it and to tell a story in the ring. Now, granted, you know, they got a lot more time than most every other match to be able to tell, you know, to do that in. But you did not know who was gonna win. And so at every turn, you were like, Is this it? Is this gonna happen? Is this it? Is this what's going on now? Like, it just kept you on the edge of your seat. And I missed that about wrestling. Like, you don't get that often enough where you're just kind of sitting there, like, and they're they're getting you in there, like they're just drawing you in.
SPEAKER_02The match did what the match fucked up. So as we come to a collective, we are we that's obviously number one. Yeah, yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_03So the question is take our unbiasedness out.
SPEAKER_01What should be number two? Probably the ladder match. If just assuming good thinking about where y'all got the ladder match, where we all got it, I think we can collectively agree that it's probably number two. You agree with that?
SPEAKER_00I would say so, yeah. I mean, they had definitely a lot of entertainment in that match, a lot of wrestling action.
SPEAKER_02Okay, cool. Now, we got Gunther and Seth, we got Obi and Brock, Obi, Oba, and then we got Jade and Rhea. What do y'all think number three is? Collectively, we all had Obi and Brock had I think Dion had Gunther and Seth at what five.
SPEAKER_01I had five, I had that at five.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think we all had Oba, oh Obi and Brock in the top four, right?
SPEAKER_01Yep, that was number four for me.
SPEAKER_02It was my number four, Joe. It was it was your number three, wasn't it? Yes, so I feel like it's gotta be number three.
SPEAKER_01I I I'll tell I'll be okay with that. I think the best part about that over Brock was the build. The build that was the best build match of all the matches, even Seal Punk Roman from my perspective. So I think if you count the build as well, it's definitely up there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, between the build and the post match, because like the the match was four minutes, but you know what I'm saying? Yeah, like it it the match was shorter than some of the commercial breaks. We shouldn't rank the we shouldn't break the commercials at this point, like it's like it's a Super Bowl. All right, uh, so number four. Gunther self or Jay to real Gunther Self.
SPEAKER_01The match was better. Joe said he felt like Rhea and Jay was pretty predictable. I didn't think it was as predictable as probably you thought, Joe. I do hold on which one do you thought was more predictable? Self Gunther or real real jade, Joe?
SPEAKER_00Seth Gunther.
SPEAKER_01But I'll still put that the match quality at four, though.
SPEAKER_02Okay, cool. All right, so we put that at four. Now we on the number five. We get I just feel like these are the top five matches. I ain't listed no other matches. Do y'all think we need to put Randy and Cody higher?

Agreeing On The Final Top Ten
SPEAKER_01I don't know if that'll be number six, but for me, it's either Trick Sammy or uh Cody Randy. That's that's how I see six with six and seven. That's two I when I see six, seven, we just gotta figure out which one we're gonna put first. Because after after those two, the rest is the rest. Like they was just out there.

How both Drew Jacob and Finn and Dom was basically D no disqualification of the match. Which one was you more invested in watching? And let's take let's take the interest out.
SPEAKER_00I'd say I would say I was more invested in watching the Dom and Finn match.

SPEAKER_00Yeah. I also say then the the women's tag match, if I was gonna put that in the top 10, that would probably be number 10 for me. I just I don't know. That one that was that was just the return page, I guess, in my mind. I was like, oh, she's fine.

I was more invested in that because I'm trying to say, are they are they gonna bury the demon or are they gonna try to keep this thing strong? And they catch it strong. You try to get the young people to tune in to ESPN and then they they carry it over to the app. As wrestling fans, we are looking at it like that ain't that should have been in the middle, right? But from ESPN's perspective, like the same reason they wanted rock, we won't we want a familiar name to be on TV that could carry people over to our app right if I show speed Logan Paul, yeah. You get the internet, you get the internet with them too.

WrestleMania Grade Crowd And Next Year
SPEAKER_01But I'm assuming, uh, how did you guys feel about the show as a whole? We might as well talk about it a little bit. We just ranked our top 10. I we both I feel like we all agree night one was a dud, but respectfully, I thought it wasn't that good. On paper, it wasn't that good. And it showed why it wasn't that good. Night two, I feel like night two on paper was good and it overexceeded expectations. So I mean, I I if y'all had to give WrestleMania as a whole at grade level ranking, what would y'all give it? B minus. Joe, you I like the way you think because I was thinking the same thing of B minus.

They was louder than what that what they seemed like on TV. And I it like I wish it was nighttime for some of those entrances, dog, because bruh, it took it took some of it.
