Respectfully, You're Wrong
If you can think of it, we are going to rank it. Music, wrestling, school, food whatever it is we got it covered. Joe and your boy Mr. Bell are going to give you their top 10 with biases included. Then work on a official on bias list.
Respectfully, You're Wrong
Future Features Top Ten
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A single Future feature can hijack a whole song and we try to pin down why that happens. We’re Mr. Bell and Joe, and we’re closing out the season by ranking our personal Top 10 Future features, then forcing ourselves to agree on one “unbiased” list that actually holds up. If you care about hip hop debates, rap collaborations, and the art of the guest verse, you’ll feel right at home.
We get into the difference between lyrical performance and pure presence, because sometimes Future barely says much and the moment still becomes iconic. That leads to a real argument about what should count in a “best feature” ranking: verses, hooks, energy, replay value, cultural impact, or chart success. Along the way we talk through major collaborations and weirdly perfect matchups, from DJ Khaled-era posse cuts to Drake and Lil Wayne chemistry, plus genre-stretching appearances like Taylor Swift and pop-leaning features like Rihanna.
Then we tighten the screws and build a shared Top 10 using both vibes and facts, including Billboard context, to see which records still rise to the top when personal bias gets checked. Hit play, compare your list to ours, and tell us what we missed. Subscribe, share this with a friend who loves ranking arguments, and leave a review with your #1 Future feature pick.
Cold Open And Inside Jokes
SPEAKER_01Hello, wonderful people. How y'all doing? Uh welcome to another episode of Respectfully You're Wrong. I'm Mr. Bell. Okay, hey. I can't say your name up on his odd. Might not put you to my. And that is.
SPEAKER_02I am the DEI white guy. Joe. D E I White. You should have heard me like I've been so for the past two weeks, man. I gotta tell you this, man. Maybe it ain't been two weeks, but whatever time. I've been sitting around like trying to figure out this whole thing ever since y'all said something about that. Like, you know, it's the DEI white guy. I was like, ah man, it's Mr. Two Fly, the DEI white guy. And so I've been having this haul in my head for a while now. And when he finally was like, hey man, we're gonna do one tonight. I was like, cool. The DEI white guy.
SPEAKER_01The DEI white guy. Yes. I was looking at some clips from when you was when we did the uh the game night, the uh the family feud. Yeah. Jerry really thought she was doing something when she picked Joe, like, you know, I got the white dude. Like, she really thought, like, yeah, I'm cool. Like, because I had texted him separately. I was like, hey, we gonna, I'm gonna split it into teams, y'all be the captain, y'all pick who y'all want. And Jerry just just instantly said, nah, uh, give me Joe and give me big sucks. Like, yeah, I was supposed to go around for round, but okay. You just was like, all right. He said, cool. Yeah, he's like, I take cousins with you, ain't no biggie. So, but yeah, no, she thought it was it was funny watching the clips and then listen to the episode. It was hilarious.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think she was a bit surprised.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she was, she was, but it's all good.
SPEAKER_02We I had fun, it's all good. I enjoyed myself.
SPEAKER_01My uh my sister called me the next day. She said, That was really fun. We definitely should do that again. I said, Yeah, we are, we go, because we only went through so many questions, and it's like uh 200. So I got more questions. Yeah, it's it's a big stack, apparently. It was like it came in two separate stacks.
SPEAKER_02Let me know ahead of time, man. I might take me some ginkgo baloba or something, you know what I'm saying? Get myself prepared, uh, get my memory going. I don't know, man. Chat GPT something.
SPEAKER_01Next time I give you a heads up, but y'all can find that episode. Yeah,
Why Future Gets The Spotlight
SPEAKER_01just search the Mixed Vibes podcast and then uh I think name of his family feud, mixed vibes style. So yeah, yeah, yeah, I searched that. But so oh, respectfully, you're wrong. We are going to we end season two, we ranking our top 10 features, and Joe said this person, so I had to do it. Exactly how it went.
SPEAKER_02Well, you just said that though, man. Joe said this person, like you just your whole tone changed, man. It just dropped off there.
SPEAKER_01But ain't that how it went, though?
SPEAKER_02Just you said the name, and I was personally that was exactly how it went too when I mentioned it. I was like, hey, you know who we should do? Future. You just I watched the emotion leave your body there for a minute. You're like, yeah, that's cool, man. Yeah, it's cool. We can do that.
SPEAKER_00We can do that.
SPEAKER_02I was like, okay.
SPEAKER_01I'm not the future fan. I'm just I'm just really not a future fan. I've never really been a future fan. He got some songs, you know. So was this it was last, I won't say it was last year, 2025. It might have been 2024, but I'm pretty sure it was 2025. So Mix Baz, speaking of Mixed Bads, we uh, you know, year in review, and we're talking about the songs that we listened to the most over the last year. And I had like I had a future song in like my top two or top three. And then DQ was like, or Quag was like, I thought you had a future. I said, I ain't saying I hated them. I'm just not that big of a fan, but yes, there is the it's some songs that uh the ones of his out that I like, I really like the rest of them. I don't.
SPEAKER_02You sound like me when I was trying to have that text with you about how I like trophies so much. And you're like, it's crazy hearing you give Drake some compliments. Like it's that's that song, man. I just love that song so much.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then I feel like we had to do the future episode because you did the Drake episode. We started with Drake. So I feel like I I had to do, you know, we gotta do the future episode, even if you know, yeah, whatever. So yeah, we we had two huge. I'm trying to think of the uh was it it was either March Madness or uh fuck up some commas. It was either that was it's one of them two songs that was in my top top three or whatever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So then, like I said, if there's certain it was fuck up some commas now, think about it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, now that's a song of his, right? That's not a feature.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's a song of his.
SPEAKER_02Okay, because I'll tell you, man, when I was sitting here making up the list, I had like two different songs in my head that I was like, these are gonna be like number three and number two, and then I get online and I realize, oh wait, that's actually his songs. I can't start okay.
SPEAKER_01All right, cool. Uh so the unbiased, when we get to the end and we gotta do the unbiased. I think it's gonna be it's gonna be a little difficult, but we're gonna make it work regardless. Uh so you won't start off or you want me to start off?
SPEAKER_02I'll tell you what, man, I'll go ahead and start off for
Starting The Top 10 Countdown
SPEAKER_02it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, cool, cool.
SPEAKER_02So number 10. End game by Taylor Swift. And like I was telling you before, you know, I don't really know a whole lot about this song. I have listened to it a little bit, heard bits and pieces. I just think that that shows you the reach of future. He's doing a song with Taylor Swift and Ed Sharon. Like this man's got just everything. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So I heard that song and then I never went back to it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. It's not it's not something that you're gonna sit there and be like, I'm gonna put this on repeat. This is gonna be the this is it. Like, no, listen to it. Then you're done.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, I'm not gonna let me uh I'm not gonna hate on Future this whole episode, so let me stop now. Because I literally said we are gonna give Future his praise because he is a talented artist. Uh when people talk about that big you, the big three of your coals, your drakes, and your kindred, future's also in that conversation, even though he did well. Now he came out around the same time. Future's in that same conversation with them three, as far as he might not be the lyrical giant that them three are, but as far as impact, influence, and yes, all of that. And he does pretty good numbers too. Like I said, not those to those three levels, but he also does good numbers, and he's also written songs for other people, like Sierra's Body Party is one of my favorite Sierra songs. Future wrote that. Of course, they were together at the time, but you know what I'm saying? Future, I give see, I gotta give him his perks. I'm gonna get in the habit of giving future his perks. So, uh, with my number 10. Way too gone. Young Jeezy Future in Future.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes.
SPEAKER_01Way too gone. What the am I doing? Wake up in the morning, like who the okay, anyways. So, yeah, nah, I I really do love that song. Future did his thing. Um, of course it's I love it. Is that beat? Oh gosh, yes, yes. It's Jeezy and Future. You will yes, you will hear me.
SPEAKER_02That's a combination right there, man. Jeezy and Future.
SPEAKER_01Geez is a great combination with a lot of people, but that's one, yeah. You're gonna hear me reference that again. The Jeezy and Future combination, just a little bit of foreshadowing there. So, yeah, nah, my number 10 is way too gone.
SPEAKER_02All right, my number nine. Bitches and bottles. DJ Cow.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02I listen to that song, man. I just I just want to crack open a bottle, my damn so I'm like, somebody just give me a bottle, and it'd be like a Sam Pellegrino. I'm like, it'll work, no.
SPEAKER_01It'll work. Man, I always wanted to try one though. A Sam Pelle.
SPEAKER_02No, okay. I know it's that fancy water, yeah. I know.
SPEAKER_01You know, I won't act like I'm fancy a little bit.
SPEAKER_02I feel that. We all want to do that sometimes.
SPEAKER_01You know, don't judge me too much. Um my number nine. Since you went into DJ Calorim, I'm gonna go into the DJ Calorim. I'm gonna go do you mind. He had um Chris Brown was on her, uh, John Queens was on her, Nikki was on her, uh August Alcena was on her. It was one of the uh that's back when DJ Khaled was killing the guy. Yeah, killing the game and doing his thing. Like I said, I'm I feel like I'm forgetting somebody. Ross, Rick Ross.
SPEAKER_02DJ Khaled back then, yeah. He like we talked about him before, you know, plenty of times. Like he was pulling together the all-star teams on all his songs, you know, every record. You just you look at a DJ Khaled remix and it'd be like 20 deep or something. You're like, how did you do this? Yep. How many bars does everybody get, y'all?
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say everybody had to go in there spinning eight, and it was that's it, too. Because it was the movement. I think that's what it was. Was it was the movement. Everybody wants to be a part of that because it was a good look at the time. DJ Khaled's absolutely he's gotta reinvent himself now because all the people that he was doing them songs with, that's the old guard now. So is he still gonna pull on the old guard or go to the younger swing? I'm interested to see how Khaled does that. I also think once we finish this, we should do a bonus episode. We should just do the DJ Khaled list.
SPEAKER_02He's just reading my mind because I was just over here thinking, like, how come we ain't done a Khaled thing yet?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we should we should definitely after we do the bonus episode for season two. We we're gonna do the DJ Khaled list.
SPEAKER_02I feel like DJ Khaled, definitely. No, we got that. That one's actually gonna be kind of hard.
SPEAKER_01I feel like the unbiased is has to be all I'll do is win because of the simple fact the impact of that song. Either that or the uh well, I don't know. Take it back. He won the Grammy with Brianna and Bryce Tiller. Oh god, what was that one? Uh Raoul Thoughts.
SPEAKER_02Uh yes, thank you, thank you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um, it's one and two is different, it just depends on where you rank them, but we'll do that later. We all we know later. Um, so yeah, with future. My number nine is do your mask. Shout out to DJ Khaled.
SPEAKER_02All right. Um, my number eight, and you know, forgive me because I don't I know it's a DJ song. I think it might be drama, it might not be, but ain't no way around it, remix.
SPEAKER_01Damn, I forgot about that song.
SPEAKER_02What's that?
SPEAKER_01I forgot about that song. That would have made I don't know if it would have made my list, but it would have been a honorable mission.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I mean, it's you know, there's a reason why it's number eight on my list and hang higher. It's a good song. It's one of the times, you know, future kind of like tells a story there. Something about it. It's just like it's a dope.
SPEAKER_01Um my number eight. So this song would actually be higher, but I'm basing it off of like futures part of the song.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01If that makes sense. Like I'm I'm ranking my favorite future features, but if I was just ranking my songs, this song would probably be, it wouldn't be like it wouldn't be number one, but it would definitely be in the top three. Uh Tap. Oh, yeah. With okay, yeah. Wayne, Nikki. The reason I love this song is because of how Wayne came in and did Nikki did her part. So yeah, it was what uh when Baby was doing the uh what was it like a cash money combo compilation album? Yeah. Tap out.
SPEAKER_02Uh it wasn't the Rich Gang album, was it?
SPEAKER_01I think it was Rich Gang. Yeah, it was the Rich Gang. Yeah. Okay. I think it was the second single because I won't say the first single is Lifestyle, if I remember correctly.
SPEAKER_02I think it might be right, yeah.
SPEAKER_01The first single was Rich Dale, and then the I mean Lifestyle, and then the second single was uh tap out. So yeah, but no. My number eight, tap out.
SPEAKER_02Um all right. Number seven.
When A Feature Barely Features
SPEAKER_02I got the keys. I said I was gonna say I love the song. What's up? I said I wasn't gonna hang. Uh uh uh go ahead, go ahead.
SPEAKER_01I got the keys, I got the keys, the keys. That's literally all he said. That's dope, that's not a good thing.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, what he says, what is that? I got the keys, the keys, the keys. We go to trial. I'm gonna plead the fifth. I know the judge, I'm gonna throw him some chips or something.
SPEAKER_01It's just it goes back to I got the keys, the keys, the keys. That's all he really said. Like, you won't count those seven other words that he said as credit. I don't think that's fair. I mean, but okay. I mean, it's your list, so I ain't gonna judge your, I'm not judging your list, but I'll look when I go through the features. I looked at that and I was like, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely not. I love the two just the the practice in your tone right there. You're like, absolutely not, and I'm just over here like I got the keys.
SPEAKER_01And then when you tell me, it's like Joey says like eight words in there, it's like fuck, you got a point here, but and then I'm looking at it like if I'm future, man, that's the one that's one of the ones I pick. Because like it's other songs where I actually performed, you know what I mean? Nothing, I ain't do nothing there. I don't think I got the keys as one of the future's best features. Did it do? I'm sure it did numbers because it's Jay-Z.
SPEAKER_02It is the because it's Jay-Z. That's and you add on the future. Okay, maybe I'm guilty of I picked it just because it was a Jay-Z song. And I'm like, all right, you know, I I like this Jay-Z song, which is rare for me, and it's got future in it. I didn't bother thinking about the fact that it always says like eight words in it.
SPEAKER_01Eight words, and then I think they got they got two songs together. Because it's a Jay-Z Beyonce song. It's a well, let me first, it's a DJ Khaled song that has Jay-Z Beyonce, and then I think Future does the hook.
SPEAKER_02I don't know if I've heard that one.
SPEAKER_01Now I gotta find now I have to find the song.
SPEAKER_02Now yeah, I searched it out. Okay. Have you ever heard his or uh what's that song, man? Um Drunken Love. Have you ever heard Future's version of that before it became Drunken Love?
SPEAKER_01No, the song is called Top Off, but no, I didn't hear the future version.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. Yeah, it's uh called Good Morning. It's got the same flow and everything, man. Like it follows the same like pattern and all, but obviously completely different song. Same D.
SPEAKER_01You might have to find that song. So yeah, uh, you got the you went with you got the kids. I'm gonna go with some of the stores with a U. Uh U O N E N O.
SPEAKER_02You don't even oh man, see. Sad part is I had that like right in front of me, and I thought I need to put this on my list, and I didn't.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you don't even know it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, a thousand dollar guard, you don't even know it.
SPEAKER_01Now, from here on out, these songs I actually like. Let me rephrase that.
SPEAKER_02All of these songs so far I like, but we had number six, and you already talked about it.
SPEAKER_01You got songs you like, yeah, because they features, and like you said, this because these other people's songs. So yeah, yeah, you and he know. Uh shout out to Rocco. Rocco, uh, I ain't heard of Rocco in a minute, but yeah, shout out to Rocco. I think it was like his one big like stamp. Like I know he had other songs, please. People don't kill me. I know he had other songs, but I'm talking about like one that did numbers or whatever, got mainstream attention. You don't even know because then they had a remix and all that, yeah, yeah. No.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then Rick Ross saying some dumb shit on there. It was not a good movie. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01How do you feel about Ross now? Let me get back to y'all. Because the way I feel the way I felt about Ross has changed. Like it used to be it used to be more of a positive review, and now because of everything outside of the rapping, yeah, it's kind of it's kind of going away.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Ross. Hey, look, man, if we're gonna talk a businessman, Ross is a one. I mean, you we just talk about waiting stop. How many of those things does that man own?
SPEAKER_01The crazy thing is, I think he owns one her.
SPEAKER_02Probably does. He owns a bunch of those, like he has a bunch of different restaurants or whatever, like fast food places that he owns. I can't remember what all, but uh his checkers.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know them too for sure. Yeah, yeah. And like I said, I think he owns the Wingstop her. I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I was told.
SPEAKER_02That I mean, he's at least he's known what to do with his money. He wasn't just like, oh, I'm just gonna go waste it. Nah, he was smart.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he invested his money because people are gonna eat fast food forever and ever. Oh, forever in the day. So yeah, we already, like you said, we already had number six, and I'm talking about songs I like. But I do like way too gone and you know, do you mad chap out. So yeah, I like all these songs. Shout out to the future. I feel like I gotta keep saying that.
SPEAKER_02All right, number six in range.
SPEAKER_01I forgot all of yeah, I kind of forgot about that song. With uh juicy was it juicy J and uh damn, who else is on that song? There's a couple of different people. I don't know. Damn, I forgot who else was on that song. I know it was Juicy J. Because I think it's a I think it is a is it a juicy j song? Or is it a T S. Maybe I'm mixing my songs up.
SPEAKER_02Um I'm mixing my songs up. Future Young G-Z T I and Ludicus.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, okay. I'm mixing my songs. I'm mixing my songs up. Yeah, yeah, I'm yeah, I'm mixing my songs up.
SPEAKER_02You thinking of we still in this bitch by B.O.B. Stilling this bitch. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, thank you. Thank you. Because I'm like, maybe
Why Energy Beats Lyrics
SPEAKER_01I'm mixing my songs up.
SPEAKER_02Damn, I really completely forgot about that song until I just googled. So now I need to go back and listen to them.
SPEAKER_01My number five. Shout out to my dog Ace Hood. I I know I just got on you because future only says so many words. But so I'm very sound hypocritical that quick. It wasn't even, it ain't even been, it's not even been five minutes.
SPEAKER_03It's all good.
SPEAKER_02But the Bugatti wouldn't even be that song without future.
SPEAKER_01You took the words out of my mouth. And I'm an ace hood fan. I still listen to Ace Hood, even without Khaled. Without future on that hook, and I'll imagine he said all of eight words. Without future on that hook, Bugatti is not the song that it was.
SPEAKER_02He brought energy to that song with the way that he said like he just found it so in your face. With it, you're like, oh, yeah, okay. You might have just caught the tarp, but you were still like on the tart, like I was up there. Yeah, you just getting into it, though.
SPEAKER_01You ran public transportation, but you felt that song. It was the energy bro. You took the words right out of my mouth. It was the energy that he brought to that song in the way he just fit, right? We we talked about how two chains is a chameleon on one on our last episode. Future really just fit into this song and brought, like you said, brought a different energy. So yeah, no, Bugatti. Shout out to like I said, but shout out to Ace Hood. People should still be listening to Ace Hood. I know he ain't with DJ anymore, so he ain't got like the publicity that he once had, but definitely should still be uh I know you listened to that first.
SPEAKER_02I don't know if it's his first album now, man, but it was it was before Bugatti came out, man. It was like I think it might have been his first one with Khaled. Yeah, yeah, that album was uh so good.
SPEAKER_01He had Ace Hood is a very underrated artist. Like uh we always talk about like versus right, people who have 20 songs. DJ, I mean not just Khaled, Ace Hood could go and do a versus people might not think about it, but because he had all of those, he got all his solo songs, but then you add on all the features that he had from being on the DJ Khaled, DJ Khaled projects because he was signed to Khaled Khaled, put him on every single, which is a great look because you're gonna every single, then you come out and do your own thing. So yeah, nah, I'll that's uh uh that's somebody I want to see in a versus ace hood. Now who he will go against, it does need to be somebody on that similar, like caliber of level, but yeah. So yeah, now shout out to Ace Hood.
SPEAKER_02Ace Hood versus designer. I can see it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Ace Hood gonna sweep that boy up out of that. He's gonna only play Panda so many times. Uh Timmy Turner.
SPEAKER_02He really, he really only had like two songs, too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. The uh Panda, Timmy Turner.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh. There you go. That's it.
SPEAKER_01You said his new project, was it his new project or his most recent project? You said it was pretty good, pretty okay, or it was it wasn't bad, man.
SPEAKER_02It was a lot better. The production quality of it was a lot better than what I expected, you know. Like, because you see a lot of these people, once they get dropped from like a major label or what have you, their next album comes out, and you're like, brother, did you just record that with a Cassio keyboard and a radio stack microphone? You just sound like you gave up on life and you're still hoping to sell 20 copies. I don't know what you're what strings you're hoping to get. I mean, but these streams, is that what we're going for here? Like, yeah, no. I want a pity play, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Not a pity play.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying. But yeah, no, I was surprised with his because it was like he actually you could tell that the quality was still there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he put it, you know, he learned something from yeah, being in being at being over at good music. Like we we talked about. Good music had a talented roster.
SPEAKER_02Oh, we're moving on number
Drake Crossovers And Hook Chemistry
SPEAKER_02five, right?
SPEAKER_01Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_02All right, number five for me.
SPEAKER_01Let me it's a five. One, two, three, four. Oh yeah, it's five. My bad. I don't know why I thought we was already at five. I mean, I don't know why we already were higher than that. My bad.
SPEAKER_02Good. Uh I just okay. Number five for me is gonna be way too sexy by Drake. You gotta see your reaction to the fact that I have Drake on a list.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if you know this. You you got Drake on your list. I don't know if you did that on purpose or I actually know you didn't do that on purpose. Uh you would you wrote some time to like get another song?
SPEAKER_02No, so I know you don't know your list. If uh if we're gonna be serious about this, man, uh this won't come as much of a surprise to you, but I don't know any Drake parts in this song. I do know the chorus, and I do know the video where they're like, you know, just kind of being silly. So I really like the chorus, and I'm like, it's a Drake song. I'm gonna surprise him with it, and I really, really like the chorus. So yeah, I kind of threw it up there.
SPEAKER_01He said it. I don't really know none of the Drake parts. Yeah, I remember that video. It was uh Drake Future. I know uh Kawhi Leonard, the basketball player. That's the other dude that's in it. Yes, yes, and ain't is 21 Savage in that video? Uh maybe not, maybe I don't know. I can't remember. I can't remember who was in it. Uh I know I I remember uh Kawhi Leonard was in there because everybody was surprised that when he was in there. All right, young thug. It wasn't 21 times Young Thug. Okay, cool. All right, oh my number five. Love me, Lil Wayne, love me, uh yeah. Lil Wayne and Drake. I'm trying to say, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's a just a Lil Wayne song, not a Drake song. So look, I just had to Google real quick, like no. So Lil Wayne song featuring Drake in Future. Is it a surprise that Drake is on my list? No. Is there a surprise that Lil Wayne is on my list? No. Is it a surprise that Drake was on Joe's list? Yes. Even though he knows none of Drake's parts.
SPEAKER_02Um I feel like video is a movement, man. I can't help it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I get it. I get it. The video did it for you. But no, uh, way too sexy. I mean, not way too sexy. I'm ready to talk about your song. Love me. Um just you get three talented artists on the same record, and then Wayne did he put two people who are like really good at hooks on the hook together. It was like, all right, and then I'm gonna rap. Right, like, yeah, yeah, y'all two, y'all do y'all good at the hooks thing. I got this. The verses, that's all me. The chorus, that's all y'all. So, yeah, no. I'm going with uh Love Me. Lil Wayne Freezer and Drake and Future.
SPEAKER_02All right. Number four. You've already brought this up, but you don't even know it.
SPEAKER_01I should know that was gonna be on your list. Oh yeah. I should have known that it was gonna be on your list.
SPEAKER_02Oh god, man.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Man, when that first came out, oh yeah. I love the beat. I love Rocco is he's got so like he's got so many songs that I don't know if people ever really heard other than listening, you know. Have you ever heard a song called Balance? I think it's balance or it's balance it all out, but yeah, it's it's really good. I think he's like that a lot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he uh I remember because Rocco he sound was so so deaf for a little bit. I want to say it was Rocco, I won't say Rocco sound was so so deaf for a not long, but I won't say he was there for a minute. So uh cool. All right, my next one. Shout out to Ace Hatfer. Uh new level. I'm on a new level. I'm on it, I'm on it. I'm on a new level. Something, something, something, new show. I actually listen to this, I listen to this song probably at least once a week. I don't know if I know that.
SPEAKER_02I I probably know that song, that's good.
SPEAKER_01It's one of those when you hear it, you'll be like, ah yeah, I remember that, but it's probably it probably didn't stick out to you. But to me, it's again, we go back to like what we talked about with future in the Bugatti. It's the energy he brought. Future brought the energy to that song, and then Fur also has that same type of energy. So you get Oh yeah. Future could be very like, I don't want to say monotone, but very like mellow and chill, laid bad. But he also could kick it in high gear, and he did that on new level because the song calls for that because it's talking about up upping your level, taking your level, to take your game to the next level, whatever the case may be. So yeah, he brought the energy to that song, and then like I said, Ferg already beat Ferg, except Ferg, well, I think he's just going by Ferg now, but Ferg is already on that energy, so do you get future? So great, it's a great combination of the of the two.
SPEAKER_02Fergus dope. That's another person you all hear a lot about, but yeah. Um where are we at now? Number three?
SPEAKER_01Uh should we be at yeah, because you should be at three. Yep, yep, because I'm right. Okay.
SPEAKER_02All right, that's the might surprise you again here. Uh Lil Wayne, love me.
SPEAKER_01Joe, cut the shit. That's a Wayne song, so that makes sense.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, exactly. It's a Wayne song. It just happens to have him in it, you know. Uh, but I couldn't like leave off the song when you just sit in there, and all you think of when you think of that song is I'm on that goo, shit, alcohol.
SPEAKER_01That's yes. Like I said, Wayne was smart. I get two of the best hook people to do the hook at the same time. Yes, and then I just rap. All I gotta do is rap. I don't even have to work.
SPEAKER_02That's a that is a both and and think about like how smart it is, too, for Drake and Future. Because, like I was just sitting over saying it's like Drake says maybe like you know, 16 words of something ridiculous, and then what does Drake say?
SPEAKER_01Like you said, neither one of them said much.
SPEAKER_02No, like Drake says, as long as my bitches love me, future says, like, you know, I'm gonna good Christian alcohol, and it's yeah, it's like we could count how many words both of them say it's very slim.
SPEAKER_01I know I know it didn't go over 20.
SPEAKER_02No, no, not at all.
SPEAKER_01So, yeah, dog. That's a good that's yeah. I'm interested now. I'm trying to figure out okay, cool. What is Joe's number one? Because we've only repeated like two songs. We both had Love Me, we both had you ain't you ain't even know. You don't even know, so okay, cool. But before we get too far, let me go to my number three. My number three, like I said, a little bit of foreshadowing. It was gonna be another Jeezy in future. Magic City. It also popped up on my two chains feature list. Magic City Monday. Sorry. Because Magic City is a is a future song. Magic City Monday is Jeezy featuring two chains in future. Check that out. Yeah, like I said, it was on my two chains list. It was it was it was like top five on my two chains feature list. So yeah, I love that song. But I'm also a big, I'm a big Jeezy fan.
SPEAKER_02Oh, jeezy.
SPEAKER_01I tell people all the time, like, if I'm if I'm going out, like out, out to club or bar or whatever the case may be, uh my rhythm music is jeezy.
SPEAKER_02So okay, I've never heard this song, man, and now I feel like I've been neglected or something.
SPEAKER_01Right, because this is the second time in the prayer, and we you know what I'm saying? We only done what four features twice.
SPEAKER_02I'm over here watching this video for like 30 seconds, and I already feel like I want to go to the strip club tonight and waste my whole paycheck. We talk about man, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01We're talking about Magic City Monday, so oh man. They're doing that on a Monday.
SPEAKER_02Definitely. You know, that has always blown my mind. Like, everybody else always thinks, you know, I'm saying the weekend and everything, but then you think you talk about like Atlanta and the strip clubs and this you know, whole scene culture, whatever you, and it's Magic City Monday. Rest of us out here, like, oh man, I gotta go back to work on Monday. They over there, like, hey, you know what we're doing tonight, right?
SPEAKER_01Just throwing it. They in the clubs just throwing it.
SPEAKER_02I'm saying, you know, strippers be like, I love Mondays, like, oh fuck.
unknownYeah, no, man.
SPEAKER_01I love that song. We ain't playing about the money. We got it wrapped up like a month. I'm sorry. Go ahead. I was about to start singing the song. Jizzle is the name, hustling is the game.
Top Picks And Personal Context
SPEAKER_01Buy everything on the mannequin. Money like I'm sorry, go ahead. I'll shut up now. Well, that's beautiful, I'll tell you.
SPEAKER_02We on number two.
SPEAKER_01We are on number two.
SPEAKER_02All right. So, uh, we're gonna have another one in common here. Uh number two for me is uh definitely gonna be Bugatti. Like I said earlier, man, you know that the chorus, like love ace of I love the remix of that song. The remix of that song is amazing. But that chorus. He just sounds like you know, the boogeyman, just like I see you, like kind of creeps. It's like somebody where he's turning around that corner, like you just picture him over with his head down, just looking at the top of his eyes, like you're like, okay, okay.
unknownI wake up in a no boogany.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah, that's that is a that's okay.
SPEAKER_02I feel like we know what that's like that energy just carries over, like, and just to where Ace Hood just picks it right up. Like he's just throwing a ball to him, and Ace Hood's like, all right, I got this, and just keeps it up every time.
SPEAKER_01If he goes on, I'm trying to, I mean, Roxy's on her too, so you know, shout out to Ross. Um, my number two, which I know is not on your list. My number two and my number one is not on your list at all. I know this. But my number two is love song, Rihanna, Rihanna featuring future.
SPEAKER_02When I seen that song on the list, I was like, I don't know this song at all. But somehow I know that this is gonna be on Q's list.
SPEAKER_01Yep, it's my number two. I love that song. And you know I don't like future, but I love that song.
SPEAKER_02Oh man, I need to go back and listen to it.
SPEAKER_01I love that damn song. Maybe I shouldn't say I don't like future. I'm just not that big of a fan. Maybe I should start wording it like that because that's it's like me with Drake, yeah. See, we both no, no, no, no, no, you know what I mean, like you know, the way you you yeah, no, you yeah, no. The way you do jerk, and yeah, no, no, no, no, I don't really think it's the same from my perspective personally, don't think it's the same, but yeah.
SPEAKER_02But I tried try, and I'm like no no, no, we're shutting that down real quick. Nope.
SPEAKER_01No, we're not even gonna let that fester. Nope.
SPEAKER_02We can't even let the idea out there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, nope. Let's and that let's cut that now from the record. Let's just like yeah, uh you know sustain, you know, object, substain. Yep, nope. Overall, yeah, yep, but yeah, my number two, love me. I mean love song, not love me, love song.
SPEAKER_02You got a lot of love with future. All right, anyway. Number one and I uh this wasn't even on your list, and I'm kind of mind blown by it. Because like to me, it's it's it started future racks. It's it's that song is so synonymous with future, it's like nobody even realized that that was somebody else on that song.
SPEAKER_01Why is that not on my list? And I looked at it, and I was I looked at it and I was like, oh yeah, that's gotta be on the list.
SPEAKER_02I knew that that song wasn't my future. I was like, okay, I gotta put this like this is number one because like this is when future really first got heard by everybody, you know. I'm like, but who is the song even by? Because when you hear think of racks, you just think of future, you don't even uh YC.
SPEAKER_01YC, yeah. Yeah, yeah. No, I don't think nobody heard from him after that song. Like, you know, most people end up having a second song that come out and it might it just don't work. I don't even think he had a second song that came out.
SPEAKER_02Oh there was a guy from like Cleveland or Cincinnati that did something like that years back, probably around the same time as Rex. I can't think. Oh my lord, I need to go back and try to figure out who it was because he had like Bun B on a remix to the song, and like he was supposed to be something huge, and I never heard from him again.
SPEAKER_01It never pans out, yeah. Now why did Rex not make my list? Now I'm just gonna give my number one okay, cool. So because I'm ashamed of myself by not having Rex on my list. Uh, my number one, and I feel like I need to explain this, so I'm copying the please from the beginning. I need to explain this when this song came out. I was going through a breakup. So the song is 21 Savage Feature and Future. X. I'm just thinking on my ex. I'm oh my X. And future said, I don't give a bat, no ring. Never never never let a dress me. Yeah. Look, I'm repeating future lyrics. You know, I I really don't do that. It was the sign of the times for me. The song came out at the right time for me. That's why that song is number one for me because of the time. So it's a personal, like I said, this is my personal list. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02However, that song touched you. Yeah, that's all it's your list. Yeah. So that's the thing about music.
Building The Unbiased Top 10
SPEAKER_01So now that we we both gave our top 10, we're gonna come together and create a collective, unbiased top 10. And with that being said, I feel like Rex is number one. Because, like you said, Rax. Started the future strain.
SPEAKER_02Rax did. I can't think of a because I feel like it went from Rax, and then the next thing you heard was uh Tony Montana.
SPEAKER_01I was the USA, Tony Montana.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I so I know I don't it's not like anybody knows the lyrics to that song, so we only know that song for the energy that he brought to it.
SPEAKER_01So uh we do an win, so uh that's number one. Okay, cool. Number two, I feel like it's gotta be Bugatti. Because we like you said the energy and all that that made that song, even though you remember you know what Ace Hood did, that song what it was, became what it was because of future. Yeah, I think that's one of the two. Yeah, yeah, this is where it gets tricky. Because if we look going off Billboard, it's way too sexy. Way too sexy is his highest charting feature song. Really? Yes, his highest charting song is Wait for You, Drake, which I mean Future featuring Drake and Tim's. His second is like that, which was Future Metro Bewman and Kendrick Lamar, but of course that was taking shots of Drake, and then his third song is way too sexy, Drake featuring Future and Young Thug. You want to take a uh guess of what his fourth song is? It's his it's a his song. Better yet, you will who's on the song with him? Drake. Yeah, life is good. Future featuring Drake.
SPEAKER_02They they had that album down together, right? Yep, none of those songs.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that song.
SPEAKER_02I mean that one bad.
SPEAKER_01No, okay, here go one. I was gonna say, none of those songs was on her, but here go one jump man. It position uh peak position, it got a highest in number 12, and it spent 32 weeks on a chart. So yeah, uh, like I said, way too sexy is the highest chart in one. But I feel like love me is better.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna, you know what, I'm gonna go with you on this one. I don't know the song, but uh I also don't really know Way Too Sexy, I just know the video.
SPEAKER_01Okay, of course. I feel like I feel like love me is the better song, but way too sexy is the higher chart one. Well, we'll we'll go love me, then we'll go way too sexy. So uh Lil Wayne featuring Drake and Future at number three, and then way too sexy at number four. Alright, so now we're in number five. Oh, he do got that Maroon Five song, but neither one of us listed it for a reason, I guess.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I saw that online. I was like, you know what? Uh I I included my my Taylor Swim song that was I count cold playing that type of category.
SPEAKER_01Okay, cool, cool, cool. Uh, so with that being said, we need the number five song. We have songs that was not listed uh so far with uh the love me, the love song, like I said, with Rihanna. We got uh the end game with Taylor Swift. We got you don't even know it.
SPEAKER_02There you go. Yes, okay.
SPEAKER_01But love me's third. We put that at third.
SPEAKER_02Oh, we did, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Wait, yeah, it was love me, then way too sexy. All right, and then your long week, man. Hey bro, I'm not mad at it. One, two, three, four, five. So now we had number six. Uh what was some of the songs on uh on yours?
SPEAKER_02Uh ain't no way around it. I got the keys, which we know that you do not want anywhere near list.
SPEAKER_01I don't.
SPEAKER_02Uh no parts of uh we in this bitch. Uh bitches and bottles, a lot of bitches round it.
SPEAKER_01Um I say okay. Damn, I'm trying to think. Of those songs, which one we I was gonna say, which one had the bigger impact as far as who future was? Okay, this will let's put end game here. Cause I feel like it should be in the top 10. Because that introduced future to a different genre, and then what was uh damn the first song you said.
SPEAKER_02Um thank you.
SPEAKER_01I say we put Ain't No Way Around It Seven. Okay, two, three, four, five, six, seven. You know what? I lied. I think we should put them up I think we should put at the end game. I think we should put the Rihanna song here. And then we put ain't no way around it.
SPEAKER_02There you go.
SPEAKER_01We need two more songs to end out the list.
SPEAKER_02What you got on yours?
SPEAKER_01I got tap out, do you make that needs to go on there? So we should put tap out at nine, and then after tap out, uh I got way too kind, wait, way too kind, way too gone, do you mind? I got new level, then I got Magic City Monday, then I got X. Which surprisingly, X did pretty all right on the chores. But yeah, so we got now, we got a bunch of songs for one more slide. Where do you think that last top 10 song should be?
SPEAKER_02I feel like I've heard I've heard a lot about that song with him and 21 Savage. I remember it, not like you know, specifically saying like I remember listening to it or not, it wasn't on my radar, but I always remember hearing of it. So I feel like it has some type of you know impact more than I mean bitches and bottles was not impactful. It's just just it's just it's just a song that makes you want to be like, hey, you know what I want to do tonight? What I want to just get wasted and blow my money.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was very saying, but yeah. But yeah, now X, we uh we can put X to 10. So I Future Unbiased Rax YC future and feature and future number one Bugatti Ace Hood featuring future in Rick Ross, Love Me, Little Wayne, featuring the two hook, the two great people of doing hooks, future and Drake. Then we got another Drake appearance. You sure you cool with Drake being on her twice? Uh Way Too Sexy, Drake featuring future in Young Thug. Then we got Rocco popping up with You Don't Even Know It. Next is Endgame, or Taylor Swift and uh Ed Sherman is on their song, correct? Yep, and then love song, Rihanna, featuring featuring future, ain't no way around it. Then we got Tap Out with uh Rich Gang, and then lastly but not least, 21 Savage Feature and Future X. Because I'm just starting on my X. Just no Okay, cool. Sorry. Going back to a moment that I'm no longer in.
SPEAKER_02That's what I remember the song for, man. I just remember people saying I'm just on my X. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't give a combat no ring. Okay, cool. I feel like we did our thing.
SPEAKER_02Always. You know what? Always, yes.
SPEAKER_01We always do our thing. But yeah, yes.
Wrap Up And Who’s Next
SPEAKER_01Listen to another episode of Respectfully Your Wrong. I am your boy, Mr. Bell, aka K Say your name on this pod. Mine up with you to my.
SPEAKER_02I'm still Joe. I used all my energy up in the intro, you know, it's that's all I got for it. I gotta, I gotta let the balance. I gotta be, you know, calm at one end and like up here just the DE white guy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I'm still up like at the end at the beginning. You already know the butt. So yeah, nah, we're gonna catch y'all on the next one. Y'all gotta let us know who who we missing. Because we gotta figure out who we're gonna do next.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes.
SPEAKER_01See y'all later.
