Faith That Knows When to Move—and When to Stay
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
One of the greatest signs of spiritual maturity is not simply knowing how to move in faith—it is knowing when to move and when to stay.
In Episode 8 of FaithFinder Season 3: Activated Faith — From Belief to Bold Living, we explore not all movement is faith—and not all stillness is disobedience.
Faith walkers must learn to operate with discernment.
Many people assume that faith always means taking action immediately. Others assume that faith means waiting indefinitely. The reality is that faith requires sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the ability to discern God's timing, direction, and purpose.
This is where the gift of discernment becomes so important.
Discernment is more than intuition. It is more than a feeling. It is the Holy Spirit helping believers distinguish between:
- God's voice and their own desires
- God's timing and their own impatience
- God's opportunities and distractions
- Faith-filled movement and flesh-driven activity
In this episode, we discuss:
- Why movement alone does not equal obedience
- How discernment protects us from unnecessary mistakes
- The difference between acting in faith and acting in haste
- Why some seasons require movement while others require waiting
- How to recognize the leading of the Holy Spirit
We also examine how many believers become frustrated because they are operating outside of God's timing. Some move too quickly because they are excited, pressured, or afraid of missing out. Others remain stuck because fear disguises itself as wisdom and caution.
The goal of faith is not simply to be active.
The goal is to be aligned.
Throughout Scripture, we see examples of people who needed discernment:
- David repeatedly sought God before going into battle.
- Moses followed God's leading through the wilderness.
- Paul changed travel plans when the Holy Spirit redirected him.
- Jesus Himself only did what He saw the Father doing.
These examples remind us that successful faith walking requires more than courage—it requires spiritual sensitivity.
One of the greatest mistakes believers make is confusing urgency with God's voice. Just because something feels urgent does not mean God is calling you to move now. Likewise, just because something is difficult does not mean God is telling you to stop.
Faith walkers learn to pause long enough to ask:
- Is this God's timing?
- Is this God's direction?
- Is this God's assignment?
- What is the Holy Spirit saying about this situation?
🔥 As we continue through Season 3 and encourage listeners to strengthen their walk through the 10-Day Active Faith Kickstart, this episode emphasizes that active faith is not reckless faith. Active faith is faith that listens, discerns, and obeys.
God is not looking for people who are merely busy.
He is looking for people who are led.
If you've ever:
- Struggled to know whether to move forward or wait
- Wondered if an opportunity was truly from God
- Made decisions too quickly and later regretted them
- Felt uncertain about your next step
- Wanted to hear God's voice more clearly
Then this episode will equip you to grow in faith and confidence.

Life is a journey, and faith is the road that takes us forward. Welcome to Faith Finder, where we discover what faith truly is, how to use it every single day, and how to grow the measure of faith God placed inside of us. Every bump has purpose, every turn has meaning, every mile brings you closer to who God is shaping you to be. This is Faith Finder, where faith becomes your roadmap. Welcome to Faith Finder Podcast, where faith becomes your roadmap. I am your host, Tamara Anderson. Thank you so much for coming back and joining me here in season three. Our thing for season three is activated faith from belief to boat living. We are now on episode eight. We are almost done with season three. Only two more episodes after this one. Our lesson for today is faith that knows when to move and when to say. Let's go ahead and jump into prayer. Glory, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord. Glory to your name, Jesus, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus, thank you, Jesus. Glory to your name, Lord God. Heavenly Father, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you for this day. Lord, we thank you for keeping us thus far. Hallelujah. Throughout the year, throughout the month, Lord Jesus, throughout the day. Glory to your name, Lord God. Hallelujah. Lord, we just thank you for your love, your grace, and your mercy. Lord, we thank you for your hand of protection. Lord, we thank you for being God and God all by yourself. We ask that you please forgive us of anything we have said, done, thought, or felt that is unlike you. Continue to show our the errors of ways that we may not sin against thee, Lord. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus, as we jump into this lesson. Glory to your name, Lord God. We're asking right now, Lord Jesus, hallelujah, that that sleep and spirit of discernment be awakened within us. Glory to your name. So we know when to move, how to move, Lord Jesus. We want to move in your perfect timing, Lord God. We don't want to go before you, hallelujah. We don't want to lag so far behind that we miss out on the blessings. We miss out on our purpose. We miss out on our assignment. Glory to your name. So Lord, help us. Glory to your name. Hallelujah. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Help us on today. Hallelujah. Open up our ears to hear you. Jesus, we want to hear you so clearly. Your word says your sheep know that your voice and another they shall not follow. Tune our hearing to your voice. Glory to your name. Hallelujah. Open up our hearts, Lord Jesus, to receive our minds for a better understanding. But above all that, give us application of the word of the lesson. Help us, Lord God, to grasp onto what it is you would have us to have. Hallelujah. And Lord, we just come to give you glory. We come to give you honor and to praise. It's in Jesus' mighty name that we pray. Amen. Amen and amen. Hallelujah. Glory to your name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Our focus is to understand in this lesson that not all movement is faith. Hallelujah. And not all stillness is disobedience. So our scripture for today comes from Ecclesiastics 3 and 1. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under the sun. So again, not all movement is faith. And I depend upon where you're how long you have walked with the Lord, where you are in your walk with the Lord, um, that's something that I believe we all have come to the understanding and conclusion and experience for ourselves that not all movement is faith. We may um hear the Lord say it, or if we're in a point in our walk with Christ where we can't quite distinguish his voice from our voice, because it's it's it's possible, but we need to understand not all movement is faith. So let's break that down real quick. There is a cost of moving too fast and a cost of moving too slow. I'm gonna give you some biblical and I'm gonna give you some real life. So I want to move uh talk about when we move too fast. The biggest story, in my opinion, in the Bible of someone receiving the blessing, receiving the promise, or let me not receiving, hearing, hearing of the promise, hearing of the blessing, hearing of the miracle, and it wasn't happening fast enough in their timing, so they decided, well, I'm gonna do take it upon myself, and that's just it. It's God's perfect timing and everything, absolutely, positively everything. And so, yes, their faith needed to line up to the promise that they received. However, that's just because you decided to take it upon yourself does not mean that that's God's way of that promise coming into fruition. So, again, the biggest story I could think of is Sarah and Abraham. They received the promise of the blessing of the miracle in their old age from the angel of the Lord. And they waited for a second. They waited for a second, but Sarah took it upon herself to say, okay, I'm gonna um, and see, that's just it. We gotta realize when it's God's miracle or our own. So God specifically says, Sarah and Abraham, you're gonna have a child. Sarah said it ain't happening, it ain't happening fast enough. It ain't happening, so I'm gonna go ahead and let and have Abraham label my handmaiden Hagar. So, Hagar, they they do they think. Well, this is how God's gonna bless, this is how God's gonna move, this is the miracle he's talking about. No, it ain't. So Hagar gets pregnant when we know what Ishmael. Now, Hagar done got haughty about herself because guess what? I was able to have Abraham a son, and you weren't. So now there's distinction and tension and all sorts of messiness in the camp. And what did they do? They put Hagar and Ishmael out of the camp, like literally just left them pretty much to starve. Thank God, hallelujah, that God came in and provided and and you know what have you. But again, that's moving too quickly. Just because you physically heard the Lord say, Um, I'm gonna bless you with a million dollars, just because you physically heard the Lord say, I'm about to open this door, or whatever the case may be, that does not mean for you to get up in yourself and begin to do things without instructions, without God's perfect timing, without the spirit of discernment telling you how to move or when to move. Okay, still, not all movement is faith. And what Sarah, Hagar, and Abraham did that had nothing to do with the Lord whatsoever. Because again, he said, Abraham, you and Sarah. Now you and Hagar, you and Sarah. And I understand back then the hay handmaidens were their property, so technically it was almost as though that was Sarah's child, but it wasn't. Okay. Real life example. This was years ago. Um, my grandmother gave, we were at, in fact, I just told this testimony. My grandma, we the women of my church were at Applebee's, and at Applebee's, my grandma, who was very prophetic, I mean very prophetic, uh had a prophetic vision of one of the young ladies there. And she told her, God said, You're about to get married. She described the husband to her, the whole scenario and the situation. When I say, so literally, my grandma told her, God said, at this point, gave her very specific instructions. God said, at this point, when he's ready, he's gonna be your husband. But described him the whole situation, the nine whole nine yards. The young lady took upon herself to move before God again. You can move too soon, you can move too fast, okay? And that's what she did. She took it upon herself to um not let this, and I'm saying it like this, not let this gentleman bake in the oven of God, um, you know, and let Jesus finish him and work on him and get him perfect for her. She decided to move and and moved him into her house and and and the whole, I mean, get everything out of order because she got the promise, because she got the prophecy. Because I mean, she knew, and it was the man, she knew exactly who it was, but she moved out of A, God's order, B out of God's timing, and she moved too fast and messed it all up. Needless to say, they didn't get married, needless to say the relationship didn't work out, needless to say it was not again. When you move before God, you can mess up the stuff, you can mess up the situation, you can actually um cause your miracle or your blessing to be uh canceled because you're moving out of yourself and not faith, out of your timing and not God's timing. So, again, so moving too late, just like that. We can move too soon, we can move too late. And so there are missed opportunities when we are hesitant to do what God said do when God said do. Um, and I give this testimony, and she gave it to us, and when I tell you this is what I ride on up, I'm not saying I've given it already throughout this uh podcast, but I want to give it again um missed opportunities due to hesitation. And this is when, in my opinion, and I'm being honest with you, this is when fear kind of takes over. Because we talked about fear and what fear is about and what it comes to do again, all of the phobias we talked about that. But a friend of mine's she's a nurse, and when I say God placed her where she was, it was God because she was straight out of nursing school. The position required you to have a BSN, she only had an ASN. Uh, they wanted experience, she had none because she literally physically just graduated and just passed her boards. But the Lord placed her at this particular um center, uh doctor's office, what have you. But while there, her doctor, if I'm getting the story correct, um, I know they were Muslim descent, or they were of a different religion. Let me just say it like that. They were of a different religion. And the doctor's brother was sick, dying of cancer, and the Lord had laid it upon my friend's heart uh for over a week, if I'm not mistaken. Because I remember she said that so I'm gonna say over a week, and she would, you know, pray and come in every morning, but fear would keep her from opening up her mouth to speak about the goodness of Jesus, to just to tell her, you tell your brother, you know, A B C D E F G. So that Wednesday night she had prayed, she had a church to pray for her because she just knew this was the Lord, she had to get it done, you know, no ifs, ands, and buts about it. And she had the church pray over her, and she was ready. That Thursday, she came in, fired up, ready to, you know, tell the doctor to tell her brother about you know Jesus in this way with this, this, and that. And she said, This doctor was always early, so she got a little worried when you know, early she wasn't there on time, she wasn't there, and then late she wasn't there, and so finally um the word got to her that the doctor wasn't coming in because her brother had passed. Now, this was a missed opportunity to tell somebody of the goodness of Jesus, but again, the Lord had laid it upon her heart previously, like a week or so before. Tell her, tell her, tell her, and she didn't tell her, and so he passed without hearing that or what have you. And again, I know because it took her years to give that testimony without crying. I'm not joking, that's just how I know it affected her. But I wanted to flip that script on you. If that was you, hallelujah, and God has told you to do something, and and you are hesitant because of fear, because of whatever the case may, it's always fear that it's just always fear. I'm being honest with you, but you're hesitant and you move too slow, and you miss that opportunity to tell them about the goodness of Jesus, you miss that opportunity to witness to them, you miss that opportunity, um, for instance, to write a book. And in my book, I'm very transparent in my books. I'm very transparent, so I'm telling you about what I went through and how God allowed me to get over and through and and under and around. And so if I don't write that book to give my testimony and I don't get that book published and into other people's hands, someone else is going through the same thing, and they're in it longer because my book never got into their hands for them to see how God did it for me, He could do it for them. I feel horrible. I would feel absolutely like because I've been there where I heard God say, affect my cousin. Um, and it was just fear, but the dream to me was weird, it was absolutely a weird dream, and I'm being very honest. Um, but I I mean when I say God was on me, tell her, call her, call her, call her. I called my grandma to tell my grandma about the dream and to ask my grandma for interpretation and how to bring it to my cousin. And my cousin was at my grandma's house. I'm not joking, so it was almost as though God said, You cannot not do this. I need you. It's it was such an urgency, and when I told her the dream, she knew exactly what it meant, she knew exactly what it was about, and again, she knew how then, therefore, to protect her children and what to do. But again, glory to you, oh glory, hallelujah, Jesus. Because this is family, y'all. This is family. So if I didn't give that, uh, if I didn't call, if I didn't give her that dream that I had it, she again she understood it. What could happen to my little cousins? Because she had two little ones. So, what could have happened to my little cousins had I not been obedient or allowed fear to keep me, you know, from being too slow to give the warning. Again, whoo, glory, not all movement is faith. You have to have to have a spirit of discernment in this thing, especially when God is when our lives are into to intersect with someone else's life. I just believe that we have a purpose, whatever our purpose may be, we all have a purpose. And when our life is to intersect with someone else's life at just the right moment, and we're either too slow, because that's normally it's too slow, but if we're even if we're too fast and we miss that God's appointed time to intersect, Jesus, I can't imagine. Okay, so understand we can miss out on blessings due to rushing God's plan, his timing, and we can also miss out on opportunities due to hesitation, which again is ultimately fear. So I just explained why God's timing matters so much, because he's God, he's Alpha and Omega, he knows our beginning from our end. He was in the beginning, he will be in the end, he knows everything in between, nothing catches him off guard or by surprise. Everything is his perfect design, if you allow it to be. Okay, so I don't want to sit here and say that God's timing or timing is more important than obedience, because in my opinion, it's you being obedient that aligns with God's perfect timing for the miracle or the blessing or whatever the case may be. And uh, oh glory, going back to our lesson, faith is it's an obedience thing, it's an obedience thing, it's a movement. We know faith is action, faith is movement, faith is doing. However, it's also an alignment with the spirit of discernment and obedience. If God, no joke, I'm telling y'all, I woke up this morning with a dream and I don't understand a dream. Hallelujah. Woke up this morning with a dream and I don't understand a dream, and I know how to get my podcast recorded and done and downloaded or what have you, but as soon as I'm done, I have to text my friend because I don't truly 100% understand the dream. But again, I cannot when something when thank you, Lord. I'm sorry, I jumped the gun. So understanding the spirit of discernment, understanding the spirit of discernment, it's as though you know something without knowing, and what I mean by that again, and me waking up this morning, my dream was about my granddaughter. In the dream, her name, her grade, it was my granddaughter. However, it was not my granddaughter, it was my friend's daughter. Mind you, they look nothing alike. Her daughter is way older than my granddaughter. It's but in when I said that's the spirit of discernment, even though in the dream it was my daughter's name, my daughter's grade that they talked about was my daughter's little hand, my granddaughter's little hand, but it was her daughter. That's the spirit of discernment. When you know something, it's almost as though God has just in put it again in your spirit. God has downloaded, God has imparted it into your spirit, and you just know that thing without you just know that you know that you know when um spirit of discernment, when again it's the Holy Spirit, but it's a little bit stronger. That's the best way I can put it. A spirit of discernment is just like this strong feeling that you just cannot let go of, you just can't let go, and that's the spirit of discernment. And we need to all pray that God awakens that spirit of discernment, that God revives, renews, restores, whatever the case may be in your walk with him. Because we need that spirit of discernment, we need to be obedient to the Holy Spirit, we need to be be obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ in order to move in his perfect timing, in order for our faith to align with all of that, it all aligns and it all works together. And it's what I love about the Lord, it's for our good, but it's for his glory. Ultimately, it's for his glory. Again, God's perfect timing. I'm not joking when I say this. I'm not joking when I say this. My friend took me on March 14th to an event for my birthday. She got a okay. Go let me take a step back. She wanted to go, she didn't want to pay the price because the tickets were so high. They discounted the tickets. Then they said, if you buy one now, you get one free. This is the lore. She wanted to go, tickets were too high. They discounted the price. Then they said, buy one, get one free. So my friend bought a ticket. Took me to this event on March 14th. Went to the event on March 14th, had a phenomenal time, phenomenal time. Signed up to to hear about two different programs. It it was a it was it was uh called a life search. It was the life search in St. Louis. Um, but signed up and it was literally nothing. Pennies to sign up to hear about uh these two different programs. First program, the dates did not work out for us to both go because you bless me. I want to bless you. Second one though, worked out to where we both could go. They told us, hey, we're gonna create another class for the first one. Mind needless to say, here this is three months later. I've never seen that class, never got any information. That's okay. Went to the one um where I did get to go, and it was again phenomenal weekend. Met a phenomenal guy, phenomenal people, in fact, and it was just life-changing. Um, but it was like I can't, I can't afford this. Thank you, but I can't afford this. But when I say spirit of discernment, spirit of discernment, the Lord told me in October of last year, October, November last year, there's a shift coming. There is a shift coming. I thought it was pertaining to my books, did not know it's gonna be this. Um, but anywho, got a phone call. Hey, you know, you sound like you really like the program. I did, but I can't afford it. That's just me. I anywho, got another phone call. Well, let's try this. When I say God, God opened a door for me that I had no choice but to walk through it. I have no choice but to walk through it. Again, his perfect timing, his perfect timing, not mine, not even Lord. I want to be your perfect will. That's why I say all of this orchestrated for me to be where I am and and meet the people that I met, even going past that and this this roller coaster to meet the people, to get the words, to meet the people, to get the encouragement, to meet the people, to make the connections. Again, I'm in vacation Bible school with Brother Life this week, and I thank God. For but I got to be here as a vendor to sell my books absolutely free for their vacation Bible school. All because my pastor opened the door for me at his brother's uh musical tribute. Um, and it was last minute that Saturday night. He's like, Hey, we're having I knew about it on Sunday. My back was hurting, my hip was hurting. But I heard God say, go, go, learn, be always be ready. So being there for that, that my pastor opened that door for one of the members who was like, Hey, we're doing vacation Bible school next month. You should set up. So I'm he's like, I'm gonna talk to the pastor about it. And so, sure enough, pastor came out and he was like, Yes, I think this would be a great idea. Had I not wet because I allowed pain or I was so tired that weekend, again, God's perfect timing. Life is going to happen, but this is where faith, again, and just being obedient and giving in or being obedient to the spirit of deserving and the spirit of the Holy Spirit, those doors are gonna be open for you to testify, those doors are gonna be open for you to give the goodness of Jesus, those doors are gonna be open for you to pray for someone. God's perfect timing, faith in alignment with obedience, because you're gonna hear the Lord say, Go pray, give this testimony. You're gonna hear the Lord say, Um, um, tell them this, whatever the case may be, or do this, or bless them financially, or whatever the thing may be, you're gonna hear it. Even if you don't hear it, because some people say, I've never heard the voice of the Lord, okay, you're gonna feel it in your spirit, okay? Again, faith is to know when to move and when to stay. When to move and when to stay. If God, I promise you, I promise you, I've I've I've seen people stuck on the side of the road many a times, many a times. God ain't tell me to pull over, and so therefore keep moving. But there has been times where God said, pull over, pull over. I've been late to work. God said, pull, I gotta be obedient, and that's what it comes down. When you feel that spirit of discernment, when you feel the Holy Spirit, when you hear God's voice, whatever the case may be, I need y'all to know. Don't do the opposite because we understand the opposite is disobedience. The opposite is disobedient, and when you're disobedient, that's sin. Okay? But number two, we need to know: hey, I can't move too soon, I can't move too late, and I gotta move in God's perfect timing. Don't get me wrong, we are in a dispensation of grace, and I believe God knows that wholeheartedly. And I believe there is a space of grace for you to move. You don't want to move before it and you don't want to move after it, okay? I believe there is a space of grace for you to move. But understand, we see Ishmael and how that worked out, but when they allow God to do it, we get they got Isaac, right? And we see that the blessings upon that. If we allow God to do it in his time, and then we move how he says to move, again, that friend of mine, she got the blessing. Or this the well, she was a friend of the young lady when my grandma prophesied. She got it, she knew it, she seen it, she heard it, she received it. But she moved out of herself instead of allowing God to finish what he was doing. Don't shipwreck your blessing, your miracle, or anything else. And the more you begin to move in God's perfect time and with the spirit of discernment, the Holy Spirit leading you, being obedient, I promise you, it will be a poo glory, fine tune. Last season I had my pastor on, and he talked about the tuning of his guitar, mind you, our bass or whatever it's called. And I ain't know nothing about that, but in in the our podcast, he talked about it. So I had to go to church the next time we were at church. Show me what you're talking about, and it was as a meter, and as you you know, pluck the little strings, it tells you, and you tighten it and pluck it, and then it tells you, and then it lets you know in this range it's perfect, it's perfect. The more you be oh, glory, hallelujah! The more you pluck your string of faith, hallelujah, the more you find to listening and being obedient to the Lord, hallelujah, you'll get into that perfect zone, you'll get into that perfect range, and I promise you, your faith is gonna grow. Your faith is going to grow, and you'll be able to be played or to play or however you want to look at that thing. God will be able to use you. Thank you, Lord. God will be able to use you. Oh, for kingdom building, for kingdom purpose, because you've already been fine-tuned and in alignment, you're in perfect alignment with the spirit of deserve and the Holy Spirit with him, with with his timing and everything, and you'll be able to use like a fine-tuned bass guitar or bass, I'm not sure. I don't know. But I promise you, that's what it's all about. Okay, so our faith challenge for this week. Instead of just moving, pause and ask, God, did you tell me to do this? God, did you tell me to go here? Lord, did you tell me to say this? Or, Lord, is this me? Am I moving or I operating out of self? Lord, is this your timing for me to move? Or is this your timing for me to stay still? That's what I want you to do today. There's something that God has, I mean, it's heavy on you. It's heavy, it's heavy, it's heavy. And there's someone who has not moved out of fear. It's time to move. And this is where you need, Lord, this is heavy. Again, that spirit of discernment is is so strong and so tight, so just heavy on you. You can't help but, and there's someone who is so heavy. This thing is so heavy, and so heavy to the point where it's kind of like disturbing your sleep. Like you can't, your mind can't won't let go of. It's like, it's like really like on your mind. You when it's like that, it's time to go, it's time to move, it's time to do, it's time to say, it's time to whatever the case may be. It's time. But then there's someone else who is got the promise, they got the promise. They God showed gave them the prophecy of that husband, of that husband, no, of that child, of that child, of that child, of that husband or that child. I don't know, because both examples came out in a lesson today, and you're trying to rush it. Don't go get that man off the street corner. No, no, no. And you don't have to use infertility uh medicine. God's gonna open a womb himself. You don't have to go get infertility medicine, God's gonna do it himself. But again, God, when is your perfect timing? When is your perfect timing? I don't want to move too fast, I don't want to move out of your wheel, I don't want to move too fast, I don't want to mess this bless blessing up this miracle up. Okay? So there's someone who's moving too slow, but there's someone who's anticipating to move too fast. Again, pause and ask God. Pause and speak to the Lord. Pause and hear his still small voice. Pause and allow the spirit, the spirit of discernment to to just really move move you and be obedient at that. Alright? So we want to always end and opening up our virtual altar here. Glory to your name. There's someone who has no clue of anything that I talked about today. Spirit of discernment, Holy Spirit, hearing God's voice, and it's because you don't have a relationship with him. That's all it is. It's because there's no relationship. I mean no disrespect. We got new neighbors across the street. I haven't met them yet, but we got new neighbors across the street. I couldn't tell you anything about them people because I have no relationship with them, I have no knowledge of who they are, just what I have seen. And you have seen God and people over the years, but you don't have a relationship with him, so you don't hear his voice. Well, let me rephrase that. You hear his voice, you're not able to distinguish his voice, but you don't have a relationship, you don't know him, and now is the time to say, Lord, I'm ready to get to know you, I'm ready to establish a relationship with you, I'm ready to live for you and let you live through me. Now is the time. Time is winding down. Time is winding down, and now is the time to give your life to Christ. Now is the time to surrender and allow the Holy Spirit to come upon you. It's a free gift, it's a free gift. You ain't got to pay for nothing. All you got to do is leave that old life. That's it. Just leave the old life. Let God clean you up, let God work on you. Let the Lord begin to, ah, glory, create that new creature that you shall be, that new person that you'll be. Let the Lord do that part. All you got to do is leave that old life and come to Him. That's it. And to that person who remembers, oh, what it was, that sweet feeling of the spirit of discernment, that sweet feeling of being led by the Holy Spirit, that sweet feeling, oh, when when you hear God's voice and how it just does, it does something to you and for you, and you haven't heard it in so long because you walked away from him. He didn't walk away from you, you walked away from him, and you know you miss it. You know you miss that feeling. It's almost like a high that the world, it is a high, you know, almost, it is a high that the world cannot give you. You can only find it in the Lord, and it's a high that has no bad side effects, and you know it, and you miss it, and you're searching for it out there in the world, and you will never find it ever. It's all of you only gonna find it when you come back to Christ. Come back to Christ now. He's married to the backslider. He his word says, I promise I will never leave you nor forsake you. And he didn't leave you, you left him. But he's saying, Hey daughter, hey son, I'm here with open arms. Come on back. If that's you want today, just come back. It doesn't have to, it can be in your home, in your heart, in your mind right now. That's all it takes. It's a made-up mind, I'm gonna live for Christ. A declaration, I'm going to live for Christ and then do it. All right, and that sorry. So, okay, join me next week. Oh, look, Lord, forgive me. We're gonna pray. Let's close out our uh episode with a prayer. Lord, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you. Jesus, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you. Lord, we thank you for real life living examples in your holy word of what to do and what not to do, Lord. You give us the opportunity to learn from others' mistakes, Lord Jesus, or to continue in their footsteps. Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, as we move forward from this point, hallelujah, glory to your name, Lord. I'm asking, hallelujah, that you truly give us a strong spirit of discernment. Hallelujah, glory to your name. Those who said they've never heard your voice, hallelujah, help them to begin to fine-tune it to where they can hear you out of all the noise of the world. Hallelujah, glory. There's I'm not a musician, Lord, but I know there's a pitch. What's it called? A perfect pitch. Let your voice be a perfect pitch in their ear to where they hear you. Glory to your name. Hallelujah. We ask that right now you bind up every ounce of fear, every ounce of doubt and unbelief, every distraction, everything that is preventing them and causing them to hesitate and move in obedience unto your word for them. Hallelujah. Glory to your name, Lord Jesus. We ask that you remove anxiety, glory to your name, and that that that spirit of just rushing, Lord Jesus, where they move before you've called them to move in anything, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah! Glory to your name, Lord. We just thank you for the lesson on today. And we ask, Lord God, that we always arrive at our assignment in your perfect timing. Hallelujah. Glory to your name, Lord Jesus. We ask that in everything that we say, do, everything, everywhere we go, Lord Jesus, that you be glorified, hallelujah, and that you prepare the the ground, Lord Jesus, for our arrival. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord. We're gonna move in obedience, and it's going to be in your perfect timing. We're going to move, hallelujah, in faith, hallelujah, glory to your name in perfect alignment, hallelujah, with you, so that the kingdom, hallelujah, can be built, hallelujah, and expanded, and we're going to tear down the walls of the enemy, hallelujah. We're going to tear down the walls of Jericho. Glory to your name, and we're going to go, Lord God, and take back, hallelujah, everything, hallelujah, that was stolen from you and us. And it's in Jesus' mighty name that we pray. Amen, amen, and amen. All right, y'all. Join me next week for episode nine. Radical faith. Doing what doesn't make sense. We're going to walk away with some radical faith. Hallelujah.
