Our goal is to improve the safety and quality of care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies through education. We work closely with patients, families and healthcare professionals to develop new resources to improve care. We’ve collaborated with key stakeholders in tracheostomy care since 2009, and developed freely accessible resources, supported by online learning developed with the UK Department of Health. We’ve worked with the Global Tracheostomy Collaborative since 2012 to improve care for patients and their families everywhere.
We are funded by grants, donations and in partnership with medical device companies through unrestricted awards. We are not tied to any particular brand or manufacturer. All of our work is undertaken by volunteer healthcare staff, patients and their families. You can access our training videos and resources for Basic Care, Emergency Care and Vocalisation & Swallowing. Download and print bedhead signs and emergency algorithms from our resources.

I expect a graph and part of a physical 2026. I told us her story. Go from despair to the determination to survive and thrive after a treatment.
SPEAKER_02Here we are in Mumbai at the Trucheostomy Conference. It's my pleasure to be talking to one of our star patients. So would you be kind enough to introduce yourself?
SPEAKER_00John. Hi, Soya Trachios Nomika conference. Being a vision. I would like to convey my regards to like two people TMH, my and the foreign delegates. I specially thank Dr. Brother Metz by his unliving God for me. And his team for giving me opportunity to live, to smile, to continue my service to my great agent. I am Dr. Tritiswe of Kolkata. A medical officer working. Sick new body care unit top of government super speciality hospital. It is a story of a warrior, not as a victim. Journey was difficult. It's a physical pain, mental agony, emotional battle. Tough time to not last. But tough people do family concerns. Top two daughters, they're only seven years old when I was detected as a case of large cancer. Doctors nuts as part of my journey. I remember those days. My yellow went conversation. My laughter. But life became difficult from the time. My voice became old. That leads me to laryngeal calcinoma. It was minor common point. But ultimately I was diagnosed as a case of laryngeal calcinoma. I was almost shadowed. I am not surviving. I am driving. The rest is history. I had total laryngommy done with permanent trachiostomy at the year of 2022. It was like a new life to me. I always remember. With the blessing of Almighty, I actually got a new opportunity. Enjoy this beautiful life. Now I am fit and fine, managing my family, serving my patient without scale. Do not stop smiling. Trust in God. God trust in yourself. Trust Douglas. And Vicky will be yours and yours only. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that was wonderful. Oh, thank you so much. It's such an inspiration to meet people like you.
