A former youth pastor, Shala loves traveling across the country in the summer, preaching the gospel at youth conferences and inspiring the next generation in their walks with Christ. She also writes for Proverbs 31 Ministries’ Encouragement for Today devotions. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area, Shala enjoys spending time with her husband of 15 years, whom she met while playing ultimate Frisbee on the National Mall.
