In this episode, we talk about the second component of the 5 Solas of the Christian faith: Sola Fide. This says that we are saved by faith in Jesus and faith alone, not by our works.
You are about to listen to the sermon from Reverend Dr. Albert.
SPEAKER_02Looking at the five soulless, right? We've been looking at the five soulless. And those who were not in church last week, we spoke about the Protestant movement. And we said that the church in the 1500s went into error. You know, there was a lot of error in the church. There was the sale of indulgences. What that meant was that people were paying for salvation. If you had a lot of money, you can pay for forgiveness and then sin later. So you can just pay for next year and then it's covered. You know, and it was interesting because uh nobody even knew they were in error. They had the the coffin of Saint Peter in Germany, people went to kiss it, and it was a way. You know how you are behaving now? Our generation is almost there. People are drinking the blood of Jesus, Sobolo, and all sorts of things. If you are not, we are not careful, if we don't understand the tenets that took the church out of that dungeon, we will get back there. So there was a Protestant movement when people went back to the word of God, to the practices of the faith, right? So Martin Luther, John Calvin, there were quite a number of people who were responsible for that. Last week, I said Martin Luther, like this, was a Catholic priest, and he was sent to teach in a seminary. So he started reading the book of Romans, and then he now discovered that salvation was by grace, through faith. He said, Ah, so how was he a priest in the first place without knowing these scriptures? But somehow he rediscovered the scriptures just through reading. He wrote 95 theses on how a man is made right with God or a woman is made right with God, how we are justified. You know, so he stuck it to the entrance of the door of the church. That this is what I found. So there were at least 95 wrong things with the practices of the church. And so, how was it even church? If all these practices were going on, you know, and today we are almost there as a church, the church in the world. We are almost there, and that's why these lessons are important. So we said the solace are Latin for alone, right? So they are standing, and we said there are five of them. Last week I preached on solar scriptura, which is the scriptures alone. Whatever we know about God now, we know about God because of the scriptures. It is what the scriptures have told us about God. Whatever we know about salvation, whatever we know about worship, whatever we know about the second coming of Jesus, whatever we know, it's the scriptures. So that's what I preached last week. Today I'm preaching on solar fide, which is faith alone. A man is made right with God by faith and faith alone. Last week was the scriptures and the scriptures alone. So alone, faith, you know, by because it's Latin, solar fide. Is that okay? So the doctrine or the teaching of solar fide is that a man is justified. You know, Bible, the the fall of man brought a separation between man and God because of our sins. And we are saying that how is that relationship repaired? That is what we are talking about. How is the relationship which was broken by sin repaired? And we are saying a man is justified or a man is made right with God by faith and faith alone. It is not by our works. Works are important when you are saved, but before you are saved, it is the act of God. And we are saying that faith in Christ, faith in his finished work is what is responsible for that venture. So Romans chapter 5, verse 1, it says that therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Justification means that God declares a sinner righteous. It means that we who were casted out, who were declared, you know, not fit to relate with God, were brought back to God. And the scripture is there, having been justified. The word justified means made right with God by faith. So now the big question is what is faith? If that is how we became right with God, if that's how we came to to a place where we can now walk with God and have a relationship and become children of God, what is this thing called faith? So we go to the book of Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 1. Today I'm going to teach, so you have to pay attention. Hallelujah. We are going to look at many principles. So Hebrews chapter 11, verse 1 says, And now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not sin. The substance you see there is spiritual substance, it's not physical substance. What we are calling faith is a spiritual reality, it is an evidence. In other words, let me use this as an example. A woman is first pregnant inwardly before the baby comes out. So when a woman first gets pregnant, in fact, she doesn't even know she's pregnant. It is not by feelings. Do you know what I'm saying? In fact, many women carry pregnancy for months. When they start changing, then now people say, Ah, are you pregnant? You know, those days when you watch Nigerian movies, and lady will be walking and start vomiting, and then they'll look at her palm. You know, and then it is someone who even tell them they are pregnant because they themselves, and even now, there are people who carry pregnancy all the way to five months without knowing they are pregnant. Because not everyone has their tummy bump. So, way before the tummy bump and the changes that happen to the woman, there is a substance which only becomes bigger and is finally delivered. If that substance is not there, no matter the changes you are seeing in nine months, you will not see a baby. So, one starts out as a spiritual thing. So, the substance means that there is something growing inside the woman. She may not feel it in the beginning, but it is the, you see, that thing growing inside the woman. When I say thin, I'm not demeaning it. That baby growing inside the woman changes the woman. Her cravings change, her outlook changes, her size. When you go on Instagram, you see some people who did before and after. You know how they were before they got pregnant, now they are nose. The substance changes you. And the faith we are talking about, faith can be imputed, like you can have faith, you know, imputed unto you. And then faith can also grow because we'll later find out that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So when you hear the word of God, there is an impregnation that happens in the spirit. So you may go and you may not feel anything, but that substance that is inside your spirit is what matures and produces the Christian life we are talking about. So it says that it is an evidence. Evidence meaning that with time, it's only time that shows. You know, those days my mother will say something that the pregnancy doesn't grow down, it comes outward. So if you really encounter the word of God, it's only time that shows what we have encountered. Hey, hallelujah. And for you to understand this, how this process happens, the book of 1 John, chapter 5, verse 7. The book of 1 John, chapter 5, verse 7, it says that for there are three that bear witness in heaven: the father, the word, and the spirit. Then it says that, and these three are one. Let's go, the father say it, the father, the word, and the holy spirit, and the three are one. They bear witness in heaven. Then on earth, it says that, and there are three that bear witness on earth. It says, the spirits, the water, and the blood, and the three are one. What is all this thing about witness? The witness was revealing the person of Jesus. How was Jesus revealed? Number one, he says, the spirits, the water and the blood. So at the Jordan River, when Jesus entered the Jordan River, the Bible said what? The heavens opened and the spirit came down as a dove. And then the father said, This is my beloved son. So there was a witness that was born at that Jordan River. Then the second one is the blood. When he was crucified on the cross, the thunder, the strikings, the Bible said there was an eclipse for three hours upon the surface of the earth. A Roman centurion standing by the cross said, This is a righteous man. There was a witness at his death when his blood was shed, and also at baptism, when he was being put in the water. And if you look at the three who bear witness in heaven, the spirit is there. And when you look at three who bear witness on earth, the spirit is still part. So you realize that the spirit is the common denominator for witness, right? When it comes to witness, and when you go into the teachings of the reformation, and I think young people, we must read it. You see, because the writings are the same. We drink from the same cup. Like you got them say, when you go and read the writings of John Calvin, of um Martin Luther, and some of the Germans who are part of the reformation that we see, you realize that the information is there, it's we who haven't read. That there's good information on faith, good information on baptism. So the spirit is responsible for witness. Bible says that the spirit bears witness with our spirits that we are the children of God. Being children of God is not a feeling, it's a witness of the spirit. It's a knowing on the inside. When I came to church, every came to hug me and said, Daddy, where are you coming from? Because I brought her to church this morning and I went somewhere else to preach. He said, Ah, I didn't tell her I was going home. Somehow she knows she's my daughter. There are many people here who don't think they are my children. In reality, we are not. But every, she knows. In fact, she started calling me daddy when she was very, when she wasn't even not supposed to speak. There was a witness in her heart. And the Bible is saying that it is the spirit of God that brings that witness that we are the children of God. It is the spirit that impregnates a man or woman with an evidence first in your spirit. So faith doesn't come by you trying to believe something. Or you try, you know, uh positive confessions. It's not faith. Positive thinking. You going to blast an exams and thinking that it will go well because angels will come and shade for you. It's not faith. Faith is not you going, you've not said anything. Let the lecturers think I said everything. That's not faith. It may work, but you see, wishes if they were horses, beggars who write. Faith is a different spiritual reality. The reality where there is a witness of the Holy Spirit in your own spirits about the coming reality. And because there is a witness, it produces results. The woman carries the baby to them. It doesn't start first as a baby, but it has happened. So you have to give yourself avenues to hear the word of God because it is through the speaking of the word that there is an impregnation in your spirit. It matures. So we stay in the word until there is a witness in your spirit. And that witness is faith because it's substance that grows. Hey, hallelujah. Is anyone in church? So when we are saying that a man is justified by faith, how did we become born again? Romans 10, verse 9, 10. It says that what? With the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. So you realize that first there is the heart part of the equation, which happens before the confession. So what is happening in the heart is what is responsible for the person declaring. So at salvation, when you hear the word of God preached to you, the heart believes. There is a deposit of faith in the heart. And with the mouth, that confession is what leads to salvation. So anytime you are in the word of God, what is happening is that there is spiritual insemination happening. When you are here, so a believer who doesn't hear the word of God will live a faithless life. Because it is through the preaching of the word of God that the insemination happened. And that insemination grows. The only problem is that sometimes faith comes, but faith is killed. Because the environment is hostile. Now, this is a sensitive topic, so I'm not able to preach it the way I want to preach it. Because the way to understand it is to use a woman. You hear me is to use a woman. Fertility and all that. So I don't want to go into it, right? But sometimes something happens, right? But the environments where the thing happens, it's not very hostile for the baby to grow. So the baby which has been inseminated or which has been formed is now lost, right? But faith is first of the heart. And it is what is happening inside that changes the woman, right? It's now the reason why the woman is vomiting, she's not sick. She's vomiting because something is growing inside her. So you realize that a believer who hasn't changed hasn't changed because that thing hasn't happened. Because it's now no longer the woman's control, it's beyond your control. See, faith confessions are not positive confessions. They are confessions coming because something is growing inside you. You don't see a sane person going before a mountain and say, be moved. You see, anybody saying it, there is something on the inside making them say what they are saying. You don't just go to a dead body and say, stand up and walk. No. When someone makes a confession like that, it is because there is something, there is a substance in their spirit which is making them speak the way they are speaking.
SPEAKER_01A woman says she eat um, what's the name?
SPEAKER_02Um, no, a clear Christ now. Should you eat elephants at 1 a.m. The husband has to go and look for elephant meat in a city. The cravings are a result of what's growing inside her. If your cravings are still for sin, if your cravings are still for things outside God, then there is something which is missing. Because if that thing is present, it changes your work. You see, women walking, I saw a beauty queen got pregnant. Their work is no longer like this. Now, when they get pregnant, they don't wear heels again. It changes your work. Whatever is growing inside you changes your work. It changes your outlook. You see, fair, you see how fair samurai is? If they are pregnant, their color changes small. They become a bit dark. Some people get pimples, some people get marks. All those things are happening as evidence of what is growing inside. My question for you this morning is what is growing inside? Is there anything growing inside or not? You see, because of what is growing inside, the woman doesn't do certain things because they are dangerous. You know, she doesn't jump off, jump off a moving vehicle because there is something growing inside you. If you know what you carry, there is a way you walk, there are decisions you don't make. You are carrying faith on the inside. It is substance, it is evidence of a certain encounter that has happened. So my question to you this morning is that has that encounter happened? And a genuine encounter with the word will leave you with faith. It doesn't matter whether it was from Habakkuk, when faith comes, Bible said that faith comes by hearing. So you must protect the things you hear and the things you see. You can see a person's faith and you can see a person's fear. They don't have to say anything, just look at their mannerisms, look at their actions, you realize that this person is working in fear. Today, as the word of God is coming, this week, you are going to make certain bold confessions. The bold confessions are not you just speaking bold, they are coming from something. The thing is what's making you speak. We can't help it. Hey, hallelujah. Peter said that what we have seen and our hands have handled. You know, John even said it. Yeah, Peter said, We're eyewitnesses of his majesty. There were things that they saw that changed their lives. What you see, the eyes are the gateway to the spirit. So be careful what you see with your eyes, and be careful the things you are hearing. How many people have heard a bad news and it changed your mood for the rest of the day? You see, if bad news can change your mood, you know what the word of God can do. Some of you can just hear good news and be smiling the whole day. We can just read a text message, even in church, as we are all here and the word of God is hitting us, you can read a text and start smiling in the midst of a lot of seriousness. Why? A message has come in. Messages are infectious, and things you hear. So you can't go through the week without hearing the word of God. And you know people's problem? By the time they need faith, faith is not present though. You see, if I need a baby, the best time is nine months ago. I don't know whether you are getting me. If you need a baby now, like a live baby that you can hold, it means that the best time that baby should have been conceived is nine months ago. You don't wait till you get into an exam you need faith for, before you try having faith. It means that you should have had a word nine months ago. That word incubated, that word grew, that word matured, that word delivered. Well, you don't wait till someone is dying before you are now trying to have faith. That word for that person to be able to be raised from the dead should have come a long time ago. The substance should have been present for faith to work. So when we say faith and faith alone, we are saying that the word and the word alone. We are saying the scriptures and the scriptures alone. Because it is the scriptures that produce faith in a person. From today, prioritize the word of God. From today, exalts the word in your life. Because one day you walk into a situation that you need faith for. That's not the time to now have positive thinking. Positive thinking doesn't work. One minute said I trusted God and I was disappointed. No, no, no, no, no, no. No one trusted God. You see, that word trust is not what humans call it. It's faith. Faith means that you see, it's God who gives you the deposit of faith through his word. I don't know whether you are getting me. The deposit of faith comes by hearing the word of God. So it's not a human being trying to trust in a finite and infinite God. No, there are different dimensions of faith that we'll preach later. But today, the key word is that faith has substance. Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. So by the time you are having hope, faith should have been present. That gives substance to what you are hoping to happen in the future. How many people are going to walk in faith? Hey, hallelujah. How do you walk in faith? First, allow faith to come in. Faith comes by, faith comes by, faith comes by. So the question is, what have you heard? Or what are you hearing?
SPEAKER_01Charitize the word of God. Hallelujah. And then we go to the book of Isaiah.
SPEAKER_02You know, we've I've preached this scripture in this church before, but we are bringing it again. This is a man without substance. A person without substance. He says that we have been with child, we have been in pain. We have, as it were, brought forth wind. We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth, nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen. You see, the person was going through the motions of pregnancy. The person was going through motions of labor. But because the person didn't have substance, when it was time to deliver, they delivered wind. And that's what happens to many Christians. They are going through the motions of church, prayer. You know, they have Christian knees, Christian language, and all that. He said that we have been with we have been with child. How were you with child, but when it was time to deliver, you delivered wind? You were never with child. So it looked like they were with child. I remember some time ago, a woman, you know, told her whole family she was pregnant and all that. She was coming to the hospital, and Tineta was taking folic acid and all that. When they did the scan, when she came to the hospital, they did a scan. They realized there was fibroid. You know, and this a person's pain. But I'm saying that it looks like a child. The stomach is growing, the symptoms were present, but it was not a child. And he says that we have been in pain, we have been with child. We have been, as it were, brought forth wind. I pray you will not bring forth wind. Because it is only the word of God that brings the substance that grows inside you. Any other thing brings forth wind over time. I'm telling you. Bible says the flower fades. The flower represents anything we call beauty. Anything which is nice, anything which feels good, anything which is so like whatever you are prioritized, the Bible says it fades. And the flower with. But the word of God abides forever. So whatever we are giving our time, our attention to, remember that if it is beautiful, if it is of this world and is not of God, it fades. And if you are not careful, you can bring forth wind. There are people who have given their lives to certain things, and at the end of the day, it didn't make sense. I'm telling you, I know pastors who gave their lives to ministries. They gave their lives, they built ministries. At the end of the day, everybody left. You see, if that ministry is not a child of faith, it doesn't stay. If that thing is not birthed from faith, whatever you are doing, if it is not the product of faith, it doesn't stand time. It may last more. You know, it may last for some time, but it does not abide. I pray for you that you will not bring forth wind. Whatever you are going through, the emotions you are going through will produce a child. And that child is the works of faith, the acts of faith. Your life will produce a certain result, which is a product of faith.
SPEAKER_01Romans chapter 3, verse 28.
SPEAKER_02Because faith is more than an intellectual agreement with God. That, oh, I agree with the word of God that the sick are healed. No, that's not faith. He says that therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. The justification we are talking about, which is right standing with God, he said that by faith, apart from the deeds of the law. So it's not acts that safe, it is faith. You see, but faith also produces acts. Are you getting what I'm saying? And then there can, but acts can't produce faith. Actions, you know, you can't pray to have faith. What I mean by that is that prayer can come from a place of faith. You may be praying because faith is making you pray. You cannot try to pray so that you have faith. Faith should have come, and that faith is making you make the actions that you know are. So there are many actions that may not be acts of faith. You may be doing them, but they are not coming because faith is producing those actions in you. But when we when we talk about faith, faith is first a belief in a person before a believing is acts. The problem with that is that we want the acts without believing in the person.
SPEAKER_01You see, let me give you an example with Avery.
SPEAKER_02Avery comes to me and says, Daddy, I need I want to believe that I can give her a toffee. That's why she's asking. In the same house, Samuel is there. She has not got to ask Samuel for toffee. Because somehow she knows that if someone has to feel in this house, it's me. You don't get what I'm saying. It is first a belief in the person before a belief in what they can do. And then another thing is that she knows I'm willing to give her. I don't know whether you get what I'm saying. Without belief in God, our faith is not grounded. Without trust in Christ, you have to get to the place where you know Christ is reliable. You have to get to the place where you know that my hand is not, my life is not spoiled in his hands. I'm telling you, no matter what happens, no matter the events of my life, you have to know that you are still in safe hands. Sometimes things are out of control. Things are happening anyhow. You know, the reason why Jesus will sleep in the middle of a storm is that there's a firm belief that I will not die in this storm. It is not the fact that storms don't come, the fact that we know they cannot destroy us. It says when you walk through the storms, I'll be with you. When you go through the fire, I'll be with you. Some of you are going through fires, some of you are going through waters, some of you are, and you are afraid. The reason why you are afraid is that you are not sure the person holding you. If you ever come to the place where you know the one who created the waters, the one who created fire is the one who is holding me. How can I fail? No, no. The belief or the faith is produced because you have come to trust in the integrity of God and his word. I pray for someone here. I know sometimes life gets very uncertain. There are many uncertainties about like who would we marry? When would we marry? It's the fear of many young people. Pastor said, you are not smiling. Today you look very serious. When would we marry? Who shall we marry? How many people have had those fears before? Me, I want to bring my legs and my and when would it happen? Would it be a good person? Would it be a whatever it is? We don't know the future, but we know the one who holds the future. We are not sure what the future holds for us. We are not sure what the future holds. But you see, you have to get to the place where you trust God. You see, when you trust God, no matter what's happening, you trust the person. Whatever wants to happen can happen. But we trust you. You know, when when even Jesus Christ, he trusted God to the point that he knew that the cross, even if I die, he raised me up. Do you know how risky that is? Every other person before him died and didn't come back. And you are the first man trusting that he's able to raise me up. He will not let his servant see corruption. I pray for you. And you see, that belief only comes when there is an impregnation of your spirit. When there is a witness in your spirit, you cannot die. You see, when Jesus came to Lazarus and said, This sickness is not unto death. You know, when they told him that Lazarus was sick, he said, Oh this sickness is not unto death. That comment was not a casual comment. It was because the spirit has put a witness in his spirit that this one it won't go bad. I pray for you that from today, your casual conversations will be witnesses of the spirit. So this land will be bought. You see, if if you say that, it is not because you have the money, it's because there is a knowing. It's the knowing that comes from a spirit. You are going into an exam, you don't know much. But so this exam will not fail. It's not boasting, it is the witness of a spirit that is able to perform what he is saying through you. Bible says, we also having the same spirit of faith. See, see, the spirit of faith speaks. That speaking is coming because of the witness. There is a belief, there is a confidence. Where is your confidence? Today I pray that you begin to make some declarations. Not because you are thinking positive, but because you know. Hey, how many people say this sickness is not all today? Say it, say it in the air. Say it. Say it. Say it again. And that's why when Peter came to Jesus and said, Carret not that we perish. They were perishing, the storms were raging, but there was a witness in the spirit. There was a witness inside that we are not going to perish in this one. Lift up your right hand and say, I'm not going to perish in this one. I'm not going to re I'm not going to refer. I'm not going to repeat. I know some of you in final year, you are thinking, hey, this final MBCA will be past. If there is a witness in your spirit, you begin to say some things. In the face of danger, you know you are not going to perish. I pray for you that as the word of God comes, faith will come alive. The witness of God inside your spirit would come alive. You see, the Bible says that the just shall live by faith. How is the just able to live by faith? You see, we are saved by faith. You know, we believe by grace, we are saved through faith. But after we are saved, our life in the spirit is also by faith. And when we say faith, I've already explained to you, right? You are going to be sustained with the word of God that comes. So a person cannot change if they don't hear the word of God. The bad attitude someone has, the only hope that it can ever change is the word. Because they just are able to live by faith. Life in the spirit is impossible without faith. And we are saying that that faith comes by that faith comes by. So you realize that there are people who cannot live the Christian life because the faith it takes to live it is absent. It takes faith to obey God. In Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6. For without faith, it is impossible to please God. He who comes to God must believe that he is, and he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him. He is a rewarder. By faith, we know that God rewards. There are rewards in God, who I'm telling you. We don't serve God for his rewards. But if you walk with God, you will see rewards. I'm telling you. I pray for you that you will become diligent in your pursuit of God. You will become, you know, you see, the world is becoming uncertain. Very soon, maybe in South Africa they will come and bomb. Or maybe they will say thousand people today. I was coming to church, I was listening to the news. Say thousand people have died in Iran alone. America, six soldiers have died. See, by the day that new was whatever we are holding on to, they say they've suspended education. The thing we are holding, they've suspended it. Even marriage, sometimes it's suspended. Like, do you get what I'm saying? Like, the only certainty is God. In this world, things are moving very fast. Things are revolving. See, you know, we are on this earth like this. It doesn't look like it's moving. But when you go outside the world, it's revolving on these owners. We are spinning. But when you stand here, it doesn't look like it's spinning. Things don't always look the way they are actually out. Okay, so please put premium on the things that you need to put. Premium. Because by faith the Christian life is lived. By faith, you are saved. And that faith we are talking about comes by hearing the word of God. Today I recommend to you the word of God. I'm telling you, I recall whatever it will take you this week, the word of God, because that's what brings faith to your heart. Some of us have are hearing things of this world now and we are wondering why we don't have faith. The contact time we have with the word of God is too small. The contact time is too small. And if you are going to have faith to be able to live right, because your ability to live right comes from faith. So everybody listening to me today, there is a life of faith that you have been called to. There is a life of faith you've been called to live. And that that that life of faith is predicated on the word of God. And so don't go listening to all sorts of things. You have watched, you have filled your life with too many movies. Movies can be for entertainment once in a while. There is nothing wrong with them. But the majority of your life should be directed to knowing God and knowing his word. Because you have to first trust in the person. And how do you trust with people? You trust with people by walking with them. How did Abraham become a man of faith? Bible said that he trusted what God has told him. Abraham was promised in Genesis chapter 12. Let's go there.
SPEAKER_01The last scripture and then we'll be out of here. Genesis chapter 12. Genesis chapter 12, verse 1. Are you able to find it? Or let me open my theme. Genesis chapter 12, verse 1.
SPEAKER_02It says, And now the Lord said to Abraham, Get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation. I will bless you. I'll make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. I'll bless those that bless you, and I will curse him that curses you. And in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. You know, such a word, when you hear it, you say, Hey, me in this village, how is all the families of the world being blessed through me? It was such an impossible thing to believe. And that's the word of God that came to Abraham. In Genesis chapter 15, there was another promise to Abraham, which he believed. Our work is not to believe the things that God will do for us. In the Old Testament, they had to believe, I'll make your name great. And that's what people want to believe. For us, it is believing the finished works of Jesus. It is believing in the cross. It is in believing in the forgiveness of sins. It is believing that no matter how far we have gone, we have not gone too far. We have not gone outside his reach. He is able to save to the outermost. It is believing that we are loved. For us, the faith we are talking about is to believe the fact that we are loved. The last scripture I'll read here before I'll go is John chapter 17. John chapter 17 is the last scripture I'll read. It's to believe that you are really loved. You know how many people have gone through life so that when someone says they love you, you don't believe it. Now, when people say I'll be there for you, you don't believe it anymore. Because someone said we'll be there and they were not there. John 17, 23. Go to 23 because of our time. John 17, 23. And he says that I in them and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one. And that the world would know, may know that you have sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.
SPEAKER_01The fact is that God loves you the same way He loves Jesus. It is believing this word that you are that loved. You know, it is a different, you know, I love everybody here.
SPEAKER_02But if I say I love you the way I love every, it's a different kind of love. You know, the kind of love I have for every, it has made me broke break many rules. They say I shouldn't, every teacher say I shouldn't give her toffee. But every knows that there's some weak points. Say, Daddy, please, can I have some toffee? Did I slid one for her? You know what I'm saying? They say, Oh, it's not good for her stomach. If it will kill her, I won't give her. But I know that you know a little tweet here and that doesn't kill anyone. True or for. I mean, if it's poison, I won't give her. But like she wants to eat ice cream. When I was a child, I used to tell myself that one day when I get manually, I'll buy a lot of toughish. I want to fulfill that dream for her. You know, to say that God loves us the same way he loves Jesus. No. Have you seen people in love before? When we're in senior high school, someone uses those days we used to pay to register for Wasi. It's Wasi registration to buy birthday gifts for someone they love. Love no catch you before. I pray you know that kind of love before you die. You see, when people don't love you, they don't give to you. Because love gives, yeah, love gives. People's last money they'll rather use it to buy for the love of their lives than to eat themselves. And Jesus was saying that you have loved them as you have loved me. And I'm saying that faith today for us is not God promising that he would make our name great and he would make uh what's the name, all the nations of the world would be blessed by us. All those promises to Abraham was because he was a spiritually dead man. He was an old testament man. God needed to promise him something juice that he could believe. But to us, it is a belief in the father's love. It's a belief that no matter how far we have gone as prodigal sons, even servants in our fathers, they have enough to eat and to spare. The woman who came to Jesus asking for healing for her daughter, the Syrophoenician woman, she said that listen, even the dogs, they eat the crumbs that fall off the master's table. If healing was equated to crumbs, then what's the children's bread? Those of us who sit at the table, see, some of us have received crumbs from life. Some of us are still living crumbs because we don't know how much we are. We are loved. Today I want you to believe that you are that loved, that you matter. I hope everyone knows how much I love her. I just hope that she would know that I will give people for her ransom.
SPEAKER_01I'm telling you. Yes. No, I'm serious.
SPEAKER_02And I pray that everyone here would experience the joy of motherhood or fatherhood. Right? Oh, it's a prophetic word. It means you will not be barren. You didn't say it. It didn't say I say you will not be barren. Yes, you will not be barren. And I'm saying it that when a father loves a child or a mother, a mother's love cries deep, deeper. It doesn't mean father's love is less.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_02Well, your mother's love adds emotions to it. I can't do that by also laughing.
SPEAKER_01I can't do all those gimmicks, but need to I love. And today I want you to believe that love. Yesterday, I think the other day I was taking every to a party.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she swallowed herself. She peed in the dress. Love will make you clean it. Love will give her a second pair of dress, will give you new shoes. She made it dirty. No matter how far we've gone in sin, we have a father who loves us enough to clean it. Me, um, I don't remember. But I was so glad to change it. Because I want to present her at that party. That's my daughter. When they say, Oh, nice bread. Nice bread. Oh, what a cute child. I was taking all the glory. You know why? Before that party, I called my sister. I said, make sure they break every hell of a said, make sure they pray there. Make sure. And that's what God will do for someone here. No, I'm telling you that God, you will become a spectacle, that people will see what God has done with your life. No matter the mistakes of your past, no matter what you have done, may your academics. You see, I'm not doing it because everyone wants to look good. She has to look good for me. Because it is telling on me. You don't get what I'm saying there. It is telling on me, she looks good. I pray that God will beautify someone's life. Where there is reproach, may there come beauty. I pray that you believe that my father will take care of it. You know what happened when every sort of said, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, I've done it. I pray someone can come back to God that way. She's not afraid that I'll be there. I've never beaten her before. I've never, and I will never. I pray so. I pray she'll be an obedient child. But she knows I'll sort it out. Today I want someone to walk away from church, knowing you have a father who will sort it out. Who will clean the future is uncertain, but we are trusting in the one who holds the future. You would marry, you would have children. In this time, you would own your businesses, you would please God. Those of you who have never fallen in love, you are beginning to believe that you are made like Paul. Pastor Bright, you are laughing. Lift up your two hands with me. Let me pray for you. Father, I pray for all who are standing in church. As the word of God has come, may faith be implanted in our spirit. Believe that no matter how far we have gone, you are able to save to the outermost. Thank you for your love for us. That you love us the same way you love Jesus is refreshing for us. May we walk in faith this week. May we walk in faith for the rest of the month and for the rest of the year. May we see your goodness in the name of Jesus.
