SPEAKER_01Yeah. So our guest today is me. Is our son Nox. He's number four.
SPEAKER_04Four out of five.
SPEAKER_01Four out of five. Um, we should have Cubby on Cubby's at home.
SPEAKER_04That's okay.
SPEAKER_02Why didn't we take Cubby?
SPEAKER_01Well, Cubby's at home. Um, so we're gonna ask you some questions and we want you to just talk, okay? I know. And Kamie might have some good ideas, but actually, I think I don't know if it was a post on my personal page, but I said, what do people want to see more of? And they said they want to hear from the young kids in the family.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. But um let's So Knox, tell me a little bit about yourself.
SPEAKER_02Uh I am eight years old.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Uh where where do you where do you go to school?
SPEAKER_02Bondwell Elementary.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_01What's your favorite class? Like favorite subject you get to do? In school or summer school? In school. Math. Math. Nerd. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04What grade are you in?
SPEAKER_02Second. No, I'm gonna go into third, but I was in second.
SPEAKER_04Okay. And um, what are some things you like to do?
SPEAKER_02Play video games.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, anything else?
SPEAKER_02Uh play outside and hang out with my brothers.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02What's your favorite sport? Baseball.
SPEAKER_01We're pretty good at it too.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right? Did you have a tournament this past weekend? Tell me about it. How how'd you guys do?
SPEAKER_02So we did pretty good, but we lost uh the games inside the tournaments. Like the bracket. This tournament, we had two tournaments. Last tournament we lost the first game of that bracket. Like the part where you actually get to play and it matters.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02When it matters, it's true.
SPEAKER_04When it matters, yeah. Cause you because if you lose, you're done, right? So we lost the first game.
SPEAKER_02Uh yeah, we lost the first game.
SPEAKER_04And then we were done right away.
SPEAKER_02But this last tournament we so yeah, we had we had one game. We won that game. It was Alec Knight. We won that game. We beat them by like 12 points.
SPEAKER_04Runs, yep.
SPEAKER_02Runs. And then the other game we lost it. But we still did really good.
SPEAKER_04What's your favorite thing about baseball? What do you like about it?
SPEAKER_02Mmm. Hidden.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02You're a good hitter. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do you do you like do you like it when like tempo is going good? Like it's like it's fun, like it's speeding up, everybody's loud and cheering.
SPEAKER_02Do you guys do chants? No.
SPEAKER_04Why not?
SPEAKER_02Because it's for softball.
SPEAKER_04Who told you that?
SPEAKER_02Death.
SPEAKER_01Keith will yell from the field, we don't chant! That's for softball players. Do you guys do walk-up songs? No. No?
SPEAKER_02Why? Uh the people don't pay as pet pay as attention as much. Who told you that? Tyler and Dad. It's true, right? Uh-huh. It's because you have to focus.
SPEAKER_04You think about like seven and eight-year-olds that are playing baseball, they need to be coached like every every pitch sometimes, every play. So it's a distraction. I think they I think all walk-up songs should be banned.
SPEAKER_01He's very anti-walk-up song. If like he cringes, he's like, ugh. What would be your walk-up song if Knox Fisher? Narco?
SPEAKER_04Whose whose walk-up song is that?
SPEAKER_01Uh, I forgot his name.
SPEAKER_04William. And try. Yeah. Good job.
SPEAKER_01And I love that. That's a good one. We usually like play on the way to games.
SPEAKER_04Get them pumped up.
SPEAKER_01Pumped up. Right?
SPEAKER_04Nox, I have a question for you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I got a couple of questions. Okay. Number one. Do you think we landed on the moon?
SPEAKER_01No. He's gotten to them already. No. What do you do in school though if they're teaching you that?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01How do you handle that? If you're they're teaching you about landing on the moon, what do you do in class? Do I listen? You don't listen? No. Well. Well. But do you say anything? No. No. You just you know that's what they're supposed to teach you. Yeah. You don't correct the teacher. No. Nax is really well behaved. I had a really nice message from your Sholaski. Yes. I always say your teacher there's a Polish name, and you say, what is it? Miss Balente or Ms. Sholaski? That's Italian. Oh Miss Balenter. No, Shalaski. Am I saying that right? Yeah, Miss Shalaski. I'm sorry if I'm butchering your name. I think of Shalatsky's. Sholoski's.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Deli. But Sholoski.
SPEAKER_01She sent a message and she said there was a boy, because in summer school he has Minecraft.
SPEAKER_02Minecraft. Grade outdoors. Okay, so an order. Okay, go ahead.
SPEAKER_04It's very important you know what order it's in.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so I have three classes. First one is grade outdoors. So you play games outside and stuff. And then Fun and the Sun, it's like the same thing except you don't go in. Well, Grade Outdoors you put play in the woods, but great fun and the sun, you play by the playground. And then we and then the third one is uh Minecraft. And you play Minecraft on a computer and you play with your friends. And uh my friend, he wanted to play, but my other friend said, Don't let him play, don't let him play. And I said, No, let's let him play. And then I let him play, and then he immediately uh corrected himself and said, Yeah, let's play with them.
SPEAKER_01So his teacher said that it warmed her heart so much because all of your friends were saying, Don't no, no, don't let him play, don't let him play. And this kid that asked to play doesn't have as many friends as Nox. And she said, and I'm just quoting her, not saying my kid's cool, but she's like, Nox is cool and kids look up to him. So when Nox said, No, let's let him play, you get more done with more people, right? With the village, and she said they're all like, Yeah, you're right, Nox. And you she said it made that kid's day, like he was so happy.
SPEAKER_04That's just the right thing to do, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so as a parent, that is like the best thing to hear, and you will know one day when you have kids when you get compliments like that. Like, we like that you get good grades, we do, but like being kind to other people is so important, yeah, and not letting them feel left out, and you're always really good about that, and you're in tune. You are really good at being able to see that with people, which is good, which is why sometimes you feel icky at school because I think you take on a lot of yeah, feelings from other people, don't you? Yeah, yeah. How does that make you feel? Like to explain when you're having a bad day, like what's going on in the classroom? Loudness. And you said like when kids get in trouble and it bothers you a lot. Yeah. Yeah. You don't want to talk about it.
SPEAKER_04Or when they're about to get in trouble. Like, I remember you telling me once that like you you know like they're gonna get yelled at, and then you get like you feel bad for them, yeah. Yeah, and and you don't feel good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.
SPEAKER_04You'll get over that eventually, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_04But um, do you so you don't think we landed on the moon? All right, all right. Do you believe in aliens?
SPEAKER_02Yes, yeah, that's yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do you think you'll ever see one?
SPEAKER_01No, ah man, I hope so. Yeah, it'd be cool. You're gonna live way longer than us, and I'm hoping in my lifetime we get to hang out with them. And we maybe already have, maybe Cammy's an alien.
SPEAKER_00There's a good chance, there's a good chance.
SPEAKER_01Maybe next, what is your what is the first memory you've ever had? Like that you can think back. Your first memory.
SPEAKER_04Not one that you can remember from a picture, but an actual memory.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so mom told me to take a nap when I was like three or four. And I took a nap. Well, before I took a nap, uh, she told me when you go to sleep, you'll grow. And he she said, if don't sl don't grow too much, otherwise you'll have to move out. And I was so excited that when I when I went when I woke up, I was mad, really mad.
SPEAKER_04Why?
SPEAKER_02Because I wanted to grow.
SPEAKER_04Isn't it funny how you like you a lot of times when you're young, you just can't wait until like you get a little older.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then when you get older, you're like, man, I wish I was a little younger.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, I'm happy you didn't grow too big because I don't you want to move out?
SPEAKER_02No, well, no, but I just wanted to grow like not too big, but not like too big. Just bigger, like comedy age.
SPEAKER_04You wanted you wanted to be able to have a girlfriend or what?
SPEAKER_02No, just like bigger.
SPEAKER_04Oh, why?
SPEAKER_02I don't know. I just wanted to be taller and big. You probably did grow a little bit.
SPEAKER_04I'm sure you did.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um, okay. So that's your first memory of that. What is your first memory of the mill?
SPEAKER_02The mill.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, what do you remember about the mill?
SPEAKER_01We remember what you're doing.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so we went so when you guys were like fixing the mill a little bit on the outterior? It was like you're making up words.
SPEAKER_04You think so?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, just let them.
SPEAKER_01I love that. I'm gonna say at the ulterior. I love that. Okay, go on.
SPEAKER_02And uh we went to the mill and you were and uh dad was working on it on one of those things that rise up. You push push some buttons and then rise up.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02We went on one of those and we went so high, but I wanted to win down, I wanted to go down, but cubby was stayed on it and it went so high.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02It was like the bigger than the mill.
SPEAKER_04I think we get a picture of that somewhere.
SPEAKER_01We do. And I think Nash was in a diaper on it. Or like looking up at it in his little diaper. Probably. Yeah, he was looking up at it.
SPEAKER_04I don't think he went in it.
SPEAKER_01He doesn't. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So what do you want to do?
SPEAKER_01What do you want to do? Like, what is your goal? What do you want to be when you grow up? Police officer.
SPEAKER_02And uh pastor. Pastor? Pastor. Yeah?
SPEAKER_04Why do you want to do that?
SPEAKER_02Because of which one? Let's start with the first one.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Police officer. Because it's fun and it looks cool.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02Do you think dad looks like he has fun?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do you think I look cool?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Nice.
SPEAKER_01Do you like seeing dad at school sometimes when he pops in? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's probably more fun for me to see you and Nash at school than it is for you to see me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because I see you at the past.
SPEAKER_04I get really excited about it.
SPEAKER_01What about um why do you want to be a pastor?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh because you teach about God. And it uh it just looks fun.
SPEAKER_04Why do you want to teach people about God?
SPEAKER_02So people can be more nice.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_01I like that. Yeah. Um, so your his Sunday school teacher, well, I'll just talk to you. Your Sunday school teacher, Jordan, said he has you help him teach Sunday school because you know a lot about the Bible. Because dad reads to you every night the Bible.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So he said that you seemed like you were getting bored with the lessons. So he's like, next, do you want to help me teach? And he said, You do a really good job at teaching. Yeah. Do you like teaching it? Yeah. What's your favorite part? What's your favorite thing about Jesus? Little stories. His little stories? What what's what's your favorite story about Jesus?
SPEAKER_04Or any any part of the like Bible?
SPEAKER_01The Ark.
SPEAKER_04The Ark?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that is a cool one. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It is a cool story, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Do you know some people don't think that happened? So funny.
SPEAKER_04I think it did. I almost like I feel in my in my mind that I know it did.
SPEAKER_02And you don't believe in the moon, Landon?
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah. Do you remember in Sunday school when Nash said when you guys were talking about what a lag was, and Nash said NASA?
SPEAKER_02NASA. It's probably talking trying to say about the moon.
SPEAKER_01That's smart, right? Yeah. So tell me about your new job adventure with Cubby this summer.
SPEAKER_02So uh so we so we go to your house and we ask you if we want to if you want us to clean your bins.
SPEAKER_04What kind of bins?
SPEAKER_02Uh trash can.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02And we clean them with a pressure washer. And then we can also do side in. And we uh wash the bins, make uh make it smell good too. And uh uh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do you like doing that?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I get paid good too.
SPEAKER_04Do you like just being hanging out with Cubby?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's your best friend, isn't he? You lift weights, so like last well, the last week we had Cubby. You lifted with him every morning.
SPEAKER_02No, it can't because you'd summer school.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, you gotta go to school and play outside all day.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, and then play Minecraft.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that sucks so bad.
SPEAKER_01What'd you have for lunch today?
SPEAKER_02Uh French bread pizza.
SPEAKER_01Ooh.
SPEAKER_02Apples and carrots.
SPEAKER_01Mmm, that sounds pretty good.
SPEAKER_02It looks good.
SPEAKER_01What's your favorite lunch?
SPEAKER_02Popcorn chicken. Oh.
SPEAKER_00Cammy, do you have any questions for next? I do. Uh one, what's it like having your dad as your baseball coach? Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh it's good. Uh because he kind of teaches me the things before he actually teaches the other people, so it's kind of easier to do better with it because he teaches it to you, but if he accidentally like did something before that was wrong, then he would teach you better when he was teaching to the rest of the people.
SPEAKER_03That's a good answer.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, what is your favorite thing um to do when you're working at the mill?
SPEAKER_02Uh wash the dishes.
SPEAKER_00Why is that?
SPEAKER_02Because it's the thing I kinda have to do.
SPEAKER_01And because you're close to cubby, probably.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04You're in the kitchen having a good time, right? They usually are messing around a little bit now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So you like washing. Well, you're washing garbage bins and you're washing dishes. So washing, that's good. That's a good skill to have. Yeah. I like that. You like to be clean.
SPEAKER_04It's kind of satisfying, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it is. Where does he get that from? The cleaniness? Yeah. Uh Judy.
SPEAKER_04Grandma.
SPEAKER_01Keith's mom. It's I'm not a clean, like actually, Miriam's gonna be cleaning my house. Oh, really? 100%. Because I like it's exhausting, like trying to keep up with stuff. So she, I mean, I'm gonna hire her for. So it's probably grandma Judy, isn't it?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or grandma Barb. My mom's a cleaner too. Okay.
SPEAKER_02She doesn't really look like one. Oh, I don't ever see the cleaning.
SPEAKER_01When she comes over, she cleans.
SPEAKER_02She does. Um I haven't seen her come over yet. Oh no, she's she's came over, but yeah, I haven't seen her come in a while.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00When she does, she likes to clean.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And Jordan's your Sunday school teacher, right? Yep. That's cool. Um, what do you like most about Jordan?
SPEAKER_02Uh he's nice. Then he's nice. He's a nice kid.
SPEAKER_04He's he's pretty patient, isn't he?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he is.
SPEAKER_04And like always always smiling.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Kind of goofy too. Like he'll mess around with you a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Are you gonna own the mill someday? Are you excited about that? Yeah. What are you gonna change if you own the mill?
SPEAKER_02Drive-thru. Oh that was quick. You thought about that?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Why a drive-thru? Uh faster. Okay. All right, take the take the hominess out of here.
SPEAKER_04Turn and burn. We're getting customers in and out.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna be corporate before you know it. Um, uh, what are you in? What's your favorite thing about Nash? You guys share a room and you moved your beds together. You guys are little buddies. Yeah. Tell me about that.
SPEAKER_02Oh, he's kind of different.
SPEAKER_01You guys are very different.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Which is okay.
SPEAKER_04But you get along so good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Can you go through and talk about what you like about each of your siblings? Yeah, that's a good idea, Cammy.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so Sawyer. He's big and fun to be around. And yeah, and Journey. Uh she takes those places, which is nice, and cubby he plays with me, he's nice, and he's funny. And Nash, he he's my little buddy. So yeah, he he's fun to be around. Yeah. Nash is funny too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04What do you think? What do you think your siblings would say about you?
SPEAKER_02I'm funny. Um nice.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Okay, Nicole Keith. What um what are some of your favorite qualities that you like about Nox?
SPEAKER_01Um, I it's weird because I get emotional about Nax because there's something about him. Like when I hear him talk, like even when he was just talking before, like, doesn't he? Like, there's something that you can just feel. All of all of my kids I feel that way about. Like, I love them all, but like there's a softness or something different about Nax. Do you not agree? Like, I don't want to see as a gift, but there's just something spiritual. For one, he got us to church. You know what I mean? So, like, there's some like when I hear the words out of his mouth, or like when the teachers say things, I just think like it's like this overwhelming like he's such a good kid. He's like a real he's don't get me wrong, he can be naughty and mouthy and like.
SPEAKER_04Always well, there's a thing that I like and also hate about isn't like so there, he does this thing sometimes where he he gets a little argumentative and he argues about things that he doesn't know anything about. So like but he's sure in his mind that he's right.
SPEAKER_01Granted, he is an old soul, so he might have known from the past, but also like I love that he I love his confidence in that way.
SPEAKER_04I love like um his persistence, um and but also like dude, let up, you don't know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_01It's a daily, it's a daily, he'll say that let up, like knock it off.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01But his heart, I think it's his heart. He is a good heart. Like he's gonna be a really he is a good kid, but he's gonna be a really good man and a very well-rounded person one day. Like, I've no doubt, like just in him, yeah. Like how his his empath side and all that, like all the and I feel like it's almost um just pretend he's 25 not paying attention to someone talking about like it's it's acceptable at eight. But I mean, um, like I feel like him being a boy and gonna be a man, it's even a better quality because it's like he has a he's he's keys hard on the boys, like you know, you'd be a man and protective and all the things, but he has this soft side. Um, but yeah, so I just think it's even um a really good quality, it's a better quality for a man to have because I think it's just it's rare, right? But he gets that softness, I think, from you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what qualities of each of you do you see in Nox? Good and bad.
SPEAKER_01The persistence comes from me.
SPEAKER_04Probably pains me to say this, but what I just said about like he gets that from me for sure.
SPEAKER_01What what one are arguing about even if I heard it first time, and I'm happy he said it because Keith will do that, and I'll be like, Okay, you're right, and like because it's like I use it, I pick my battles, and I'll be like, he'll be arguing, no, no. I'm like, Oh, you were there, like you know, you didn't you don't know, but yeah, he gets that, and then the like not letting up on stuff. I'm so annoying like that if my mind's on something, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And some uh some of that has to come from you too, though, because Sawyer is that way, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04He reminds us a lot of Sawyer.
SPEAKER_01I call him Sawyer all the time. He doesn't look like Sawyer, much looks like Sawyer, yes.
SPEAKER_04And he's much more gifted athletically.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna be like Sawyer, I'm gonna be like Sawyer for sure. Um yeah, he's more athletic, but um his kind heart definitely comes from Keith, but I think his like um energy reading stuff is definitely comes from me. Like his because I identify, and I don't ever want to like I don't want to say like this is what it is because I don't want him to like he's right here, so I'm careful with what I'm saying. But like I can when he says like I feel like everything is loud, and I'm like, Yep, I can feel that. Like I know exactly like you get sick to your stomach or feel nauseous, and you'll he'll say that like when he's in a pro like if it he comes here on a Saturday out here and it's super busy, you start feeling you get your head hurts and your stomach hurts.
SPEAKER_04And I think I think a lot of kids feel that, and um, but they don't know how to process it, yep, and don't can't explain it where he's a little bit different in that way that he can and you can you totally know what he's saying when he's when he's explaining it.
SPEAKER_01Don't play with that.
SPEAKER_04Stop touching it.
SPEAKER_01I'm done. I'm done. There was a time that you used to be able to see colors around people. Do you remember that? No, you don't? It's disappointing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01When did that happen?
SPEAKER_04Uh he was pretty young, probably three or four, I'd say.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, I don't remember them.
SPEAKER_04Um, he would say, like, you have I I would just ask him, like, do you see any colors?
SPEAKER_01Like, not on me, not on my clothes or anything, but like, he read something about it, and we figured he definitely had there's something.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh. And he would he would like explain it, and then we would do a little research and be like, that kind of makes sense. Like as so, you know, each person's aura. And he would always say that cubby has all of the colors around him.
SPEAKER_01Which made which is it was weird because it like made sense.
SPEAKER_00Do either of you have that? Uh-uh.

SPEAKER_01I don't. Um, I get like I get a feeling of people pretty quick, but like not a I don't see a color thing. And that's like a legit two days in a row.
SPEAKER_04Um, it's like a legit.
SPEAKER_01It's like a legit thing.
SPEAKER_04What what do you love about the mill now? What do you like about the mill being here and now seeing it open? Because it did it seem like a really long time that it wasn't open? And that we were here all the time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But you're here for a really long time, and yes, it felt like a really long time that it hasn't opened.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And now that it's open, what do you think is what do you think is cool about it? Like what what about the mill? Do you think is different than maybe other coffee shops?
SPEAKER_02We have podcasts.

SPEAKER_02Yes, it took like two hours. When you cut it, it takes like 30 minutes or 20.

SPEAKER_04Do you think it'll be close by in a bundle? Oh, in Arizona, okay.

SPEAKER_02Because it's beautiful.

SPEAKER_02I could make a mill there. I could. Okay. Take a really long time.
SPEAKER_04Might it might take a little while.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna take like five years. No, like three.
SPEAKER_04Do something like that. How do you know it's gonna take that long?
SPEAKER_02Because it took a while to build the whole it we didn't really build it, but we uh we worked it and it took like two years. So if you want to build one, it's gonna take probably like five years now.
SPEAKER_00Maybe did you help at the mill here getting it ready? No. No. How old were you when that was going on?
SPEAKER_02Like five or four.
SPEAKER_04He helped a little bit. He probably doesn't even remember. I mean, for the most part, I was probably giving him like little jobs to do to keep him busy while I was working on stuff.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, you help me do the nail gum, the stairs around the yeah, you did help.
SPEAKER_04And you you helped a lot with the decking here. You were putting putting screws in the decks to start.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, I remember that. I remember that. You would sweep, you would pick up wood, copper, you take hit nails out. Yeah, you did a lot of stuff here.
SPEAKER_00Okay, for you guys, what's your favorite memory of Nox?
SPEAKER_04Um, well, I mean there's a few, but one that just pops into my head right away is when he was born because it like officially joined our families together. I think.
SPEAKER_01I'm just looking at you getting emotional about it. It's okay. I don't know, like I don't have like a specific, like there's so many. Do you remember him taking my snowball decor and whipping it like a baseball? And you're like, he's gonna be a good baseball player. I had um little snowball, like fluffy, and he would climb up and you'd get it, and then he would throw it. You're like, he's like he was a little he's so accurate with his throws.
SPEAKER_04He would climb on stuff all the time, like the weirdest things you wouldn't expect a little toddler to climb on. He would climb.
SPEAKER_02What would I climb?
SPEAKER_04Uh we had like where the TV used to be, there was like uh little uh like shelf thing, and he would push, he would push that chest over that was on wheels, push it over to there, climb on top of the chest, and then climb on top of the shelf, and then get the snowballs.
SPEAKER_01Those snowballs, like they're like kind of like that slingshot thing you have with those white, yeah, like dryer balls, kind of dryer balls, yeah. Except for they were like snowballs, but you would throw those what'd you have them for? For decoration. Oh, I remember those then. Mm-hmm. You just whip them around the he loved peaches or apricots, and he loved to chew on them, but then like obviously there's a big seed, so we would I'd want to get it away from him before he would get to that, and he would eh.
SPEAKER_04He would get so mad if he took it away.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and he would just eat, he would be drenched with it, just like peach apricot.
SPEAKER_02Dad has a picture of it. I put it on his um screen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um, he loved Keith. You loved when because you would walk, just walk around with him like in the football position all the time.
SPEAKER_04You were kind of a very easy baby. He was what some would say the worst baby of all time. I wouldn't say that, but he was a very hard baby. He was tough.
SPEAKER_01We had to have a vacuum cleaner running all the time, and then we found out about the app that you could get it like a sound, like white noise sounds, and then I would put a vacuum cleaner sound on my phone. And if someone would call, the vacuum would stop, obviously, because I'm grabbing my phone and he would start crying. But you love the sound of vacuum cleaners, and you clogged our vacuum a lot.
SPEAKER_04Oh god, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because we have a central vac out of the wall, and you would shove stuff in that uh including butter knives.
SPEAKER_04Actually, oh yeah, I had to cut cut the center because the central vac is like PVC that runs around in the basement where the hose goes into, and all the and all the you know the stuff you suck up, including the stuff that he puts down it. And I I like and I messed it up by trying to fix it, like I had to cut it open, and it was just like the toilet, all the rubber duckies Catherine gave him.
SPEAKER_01Catherine Catherine gave him a whole bunch of little rubber duckies and he sh flushed them all down the toilet.
SPEAKER_04And uh and then Lance. I bet you I took that toilet off, I don't know, four or five times.
SPEAKER_01You had you were obsessed with shoving things and then like the registers. Yeah, not Nash never did that stuff.
SPEAKER_04No, he just didn't know.
SPEAKER_01I used to, I used to shove, I used to shove things inside the air vents.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, tons.
SPEAKER_01Keith, I have pictures of Keith pulling just tons of stuff out. The remotes, and then I like oh yeah, you were you were naughty.
SPEAKER_02And I was playing with the the toys, and then I probably threw them back in.
SPEAKER_01What's your favorite pet?
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um Pete. Why does everyone like Pete? He's just a lovable guy, isn't he? He's just dopey and what can you trust your food around Pete?
SPEAKER_02No, I can't have Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER_01That's a family. It's a family fight. It's a family fight. Yeah, so we say that to him now when Pete steals our food. We're like, Pete, this is why we couldn't have Thanksgiving here. Because my brother's like, well, you know, we're not gonna spend money on food when Pete's gonna eat it. Pete just takes it off the counter. Sad. Don't chew on that. No, um, anything else, Cammie?
SPEAKER_00Uh okay, a couple more things. Was the pregnancy easy with him?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_01Um easier than Nash.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, you tell me that.
SPEAKER_01Easier than Nash, but like I also compared it to Journey and Sawyer, and I was very young, like 19 and 20, which Journey and Sawyer, so it's way easier being pregnant when you're young versus 30s. Um I had terrible heartburn with him. But and then yeah, he was it was decent.
SPEAKER_00Do you think, like with like the empath and just what like the spiritual side you feel of him? Do you think that's part of like he brought your family together? He like brings people together, like if that's all kind of tied in a little bit, he's just uh a bringer together.
SPEAKER_01I think God has a plan for him. Like there's some there's there's some bigger um I think everyone has a purpose, right? So I don't want like I'm not the parent that thinks my kids are like all you know, I mean, like perfect. Everyone thinks their kids are perfect. No, but out of all five, I would say there's a specific purpose that he has.
SPEAKER_04Do you think you're the favorite? No. Who do you think's the favorite?
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. Cubby might be right now.
SPEAKER_02I know he's not.
SPEAKER_04Why do you think he's not? I would say for valid reasons, though.

SPEAKER_04They are for the longest time it was Sawyer, and then no, not. I would probably say it's cubby.
SPEAKER_02It's probably cubby. Because Sawyer's lazy now and he doesn't work out.

SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Does he? Who does he fight with?
SPEAKER_01What do you mean fight with? No, he's he just know what do you want to know what means the most to us is when you listen and you're good. And all the other things you listed about Cubby are is very that is successful to us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That he's busy and he does things and he's not lazy bones, right? Yeah, but he's also really kind and nice to his siblings, right?
SPEAKER_04Very patient with doesn't argue with you and Nash, especially.
SPEAKER_02No, he's not patient. You don't think so? No.
SPEAKER_04For a 15-year-old, I think he's pretty patient. I mean, he lets you he brings you along on his garbage bins.
SPEAKER_02No, he would do them no matter what. I know he would. You think so? Yes.
SPEAKER_04But it takes a little patience to do that, don't you think?
