Six Freddy Six Damn Freddy Yo, yo, yo, welcome back to the Easy Money Podcast. It's your boy Freddie Hoy Blank, man. You already know what it is. I'm here with my dog, Corey Ott.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_01

You feel me? For a long time coming, man. My dog. Very, very multifaceted guy. You feel me? He's a businessman, musician, artist, father, son, husband. You feel me? My dog, do it all. And definitely one of the flyest niggas I know. You feel me? We gotta keep it.

SPEAKER_02

You said it, bro.

SPEAKER_01

You said it. Appreciate that. I appreciate you coming through, bro, for real.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you for having me, bro. For sure, bro. Thank you for having me, man.

SPEAKER_01

It's long, long, long overdue. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, but um, damn, bro, I see you just dropped uh, you just you just dropped the song, bro. You dropped the song right around your birthday.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I was super, super excited for that draw. And when I listened to it, I'm like, oh yeah, like my dog, like, he back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So tell me about that, bro. Tell me, because I know that the music was on pause for a little bit. I ain't hear nothing.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So you feel me? Like, get me the scoop, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, bro. So so basically, like I dropped the song, I dropped, dropped, came, came back outside real quick. Um, long story short, like, like, I was, I was, I was working out still. Like, I was in the studio, still recording, still writing, um, still trying to trying to find trying to find my my niche, like, and where where you know I'm a very strategic artist, like in the sense of um, it's all about timing for me. So I was sitting back just watching my peers, you, other artists that I admire, other artists that I'm competing with, um, and just being inspired by y'all work and inspired by what they was doing. They hustle and all those things. And in addition to that, just gathering my thoughts and just trying to figure out, like, all right, I know I'm coming back musically, but like, how, what sound, what message do I want to send? Like, sometimes, like, as a rapper, you just think you always got something to say. Like, you know what I'm saying? You think you always got something to say. Um, because artistically you do, but it ain't all put together in the right way. So um when I dropped Luxury, um, which I just dropped on my birthday, shot the video on my birthday, dropped it on my birthday, shout out to G Vinci Visuals, uh, that's cuz okay. We chopped the video up. Um, and and I just decided to press go on that joint and just like, you know, just give them me. You know what I mean? So with luxury, like it, it, it, it, it got a lot of love immediately because that's that sound that people knew me for. Like them, the the the flashy, um, um uh hardcore, raw vocals and just popping shit. You know what I'm saying? So people people is uh people wasn't really expecting that coming off my last project. So I just decided to just jump back outside and jump back in that water, you know what I'm saying? For sure, for sure, bro.

SPEAKER_01

That's a beautiful thing, bro. And you said something that stood out to me, bro, as artists is like we feel like we always got something to say, yeah, but maturity is knowing when it's the right time to say what you got to say. For sure.

SPEAKER_02

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

So that it don't seem like you just overloading your fan base, overloading the people that follow you. Yeah, you feel me? Like we spoke about that on the phone.

SPEAKER_02

For sure, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you know, like that's what I was gonna say. Like, speaking to that, like even like, you know, even in the social space, like you could play these apps, you know what I'm saying, and not have you know, have to give your two cents, you feel me? Like you could just watch shit play out, sit back, learn from things, and then when you feel as though you really got something that's gonna provide some spark or just give some some some game to somebody, like then you then you jump out there and speak on that, man. Simple as that. Like, you know, but you learn that with age, you know what I'm saying? You learn that with with with polishing certain skills and understanding certain things about life, like so beyond rap, beyond music, you know what I'm saying? Beyond these socials, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking about that, bro, beyond rap, beyond music, like how has being a father shaped or how has it changed the trajectory of your career? Because, bro, if I could say something, bro, I always see you with your kids.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, thank you, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Almost every time. Like, you might put up a collage of pictures on Instagram, bro. Yeah, is no way that your kids is not gonna be in one of you feel me? Like, I'm gonna keep swiping by the time I hit the third joint with your kids. So, and I love that, bro, and I admire that, bro, because I'm a new father. My daughter's two years old, you feel me? So how has being a father like shaped or changed your career, like, or the music that you make, I should say?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like I mean, musically, like, is it's giving me more patience. Um, the patience that I practice with them, I try to practice with myself musically. You know what I mean? Because sometimes, like, just comparing it to fatherhood and raising a child, sometimes you might want to critique a certain thing that they're doing or or try to correct something, but sometimes you just need to let it play out, let them learn from it, and then be like, all right, this is why you should do it this way. You know what I'm saying? So with the music, like, it just gave me a sense of purpose and duty in my lyrics and in the content that I'm creating and the message that I'm putting out there to be, you know, yeah, like I can work out. Like I said, I'm in the studio all the time, like I'm recording, I'm writing, I'm um, I'm listening to beats, I'm working with producers, but I'm just not at that point where I'm ready to present a whole project, but I'm able to make my mistakes, I'm able to make songs that I don't like or songs that just say in the computer or on the hard drive. You're able to be human. Exactly, be human. So um, that's how I relate the two, like, honestly. Like, and fatherhood uh is just something that inspired me, gave me so much purpose. Like, um, I felt as though as a young man, growing into adulthood even more. I was I was never really at my peak of purpose, you know. Like, always felt like I can go here, there, or there. You know what I mean? But the moment I had my daughter, like, the moment I became a stepdad first. She taught me how to be a father, but then I had my daughter. Right. Um, it just gave me this sense of pride and sense of purpose. Like, man, you gotta you gotta send a clear message to who you are every time you get the chance to as an artist. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

You gotta stand on what you believe in.

SPEAKER_02

For sure, for sure. Because they watching.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

They watching, game.

SPEAKER_01

Not only about talking to talk, but you gotta walk the walk also. You feel me? Because you could BS them for as long as you try, but eventually they're going to get to an age where they're going to be able to realize that, damn, daddy's saying this, but daddy's doing that.

SPEAKER_02

For sure. For sure.

SPEAKER_01

You get what I'm saying? They're gonna be able to call you all. Yeah, yeah. You feel me? Yeah, yeah. Just like a good friend would, or just like a parent would, like, or just like an auntie, uncle, anyway, you feel me?

SPEAKER_02

For sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Good person that you're close to. So it is very, very important, bro, and I definitely agree with you 100%. Be who you say you want them to be first.

SPEAKER_02

I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Because as long as you lead by example, you're gonna lead them down the right path.

SPEAKER_02

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

You see what I'm saying? For sure. Another thing, bro, that I love is that no, your son fly his shit, bro. I ain't gonna hold you, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Young Max camp million.

SPEAKER_01

Young boy be cooking it. Is he a like like it seemed like the pictures be like more on the professional side. For sure. Is he like uh, is he, is, is he a model?

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah, so so it's official. Yeah, Max is uh entered into the world, the entertainment industry in general. You feel me? Like, I won't cap him off as being a model, I won't cap him off as being an actor, I won't cap him off as you know, being a create a content creator. Right. Um, he just a young kid with a lot of personality, like, and a lot of energy, and he just got a bit of star quality, in my opinion. Like, if you be around him, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, he's gonna be. So, so, so, so in that, you feel me? Like, we we we waited and he's three, about to be four in May. Um, and we decided that we was gonna get him some professional pictures done. Um, so shout out QX Photography. She's in LA for anybody that wants to work with her. She's a wonderful young woman. Um, and she on up on her up and coming. She's done magazines, all type of stuff. But anyway, uh Q had came through from LA to Philly. Um, and we did a photo shoot for Max, and it went really well. Like, it went really well. Like, he showed a lot of energy and he got the pictures that we wanted. Um, so we submitted those to a few agencies, and then um, you know, different kids casting websites and all these different things, and we got some traction back, like real real quick. So from there, we uh we decided to take an offer to enroll him into a school of some sort, uh a school of performing arts, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, yeah. Okay, and does it have like you say you don't want to cap him off as anything specifically, but is there anything like that you see maybe he might be leaning more towards, like versus like acting or modeling?

SPEAKER_02

Is there anything that's like he's like Yeah, I I would say I would say it's a little bit of both because um with him enrolling to the School of Performing Arts, uh he takes acting lessons once a week as well as modeling lessons once a week. So um we just you know, it's not instant gratification we're looking for with Max. It's not instant gratification we're looking for after cash record. For sure. We looking to build and continue to get better each time we step out. So with him being three, going to be four, we just want him to hone on, hone in on his craft, understand what modeling is, learn from his teachers and these and these different people who've been in this industry at such a young age for him. He like a sponge. He just soaking it all up. So um, right now he's more modeling, if anything. Um he did do JC Penny's fashion show in Santa Clarita, California, which was a huge, huge deal. They invited him out. Um he did New York Fashion Week with Playtime. Hey, yo. Uh and he's headed to Fayetteville, North Carolina June 13th, uh, for a fashion show as well. That's tough. And then we backed to LA in May. That's so tough. So um we just working and we just trying to get him involved. And then like I said, I don't want to cap him off because Camp Million is his is his is his handles on everything on his Instagram, his tech, TikTok, all these things, which was run by his parents. Um But it was inspired by him. All the things he liked. Um, outdoors, dinosaurs, you know, campfires, uh all these different things that he likes to do. Skating, riding, you know, all this stuff. Um, it was inspired by him.

SPEAKER_01

You following his lead, and you but you just fueling the fire, basically.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly, exactly. And taking a step back and just pushing my son forward. You know what I'm saying? That's beautiful.

SPEAKER_01

Stay like that. That's so tough, bro. Bro, y'all be creating content together, like as far as like, you know, like sometimes when I see parents and their uh kids' profiles, or the kids be having Instagrams. Yeah. The parents, obviously, the parents is the one in the control. They be like in the crib creating content, like doing different stuff. Like, have you hit that?

SPEAKER_02

Sure, yeah, yeah. So we at that point, you know, with the modeling gigs coming in more and more, um, and with him being taught, like I said, through the uh School of Performing Arts, Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts, um, we are definitely setting stages for him to be able to learn and practice. You know what I'm saying? Whether we're turning it into a game or we doing things like that involving his sister, playing Simon says, all these different things to get him to learn. So yeah, we definitely working on that um in the content creating space. Uh, I would say like I push that more than anything. My kids and them, they they got their own personalities and they not really into it. They don't understand it just yet, uh, some of them. Um, so sometimes it's a little rough, but for the most part, for the most part, they know when I say, yo, put this on, take this pic, stand right here real quick. Yeah, they know what time it is. And then more and more Max does it, the more events he goes to and the more engagement he has, the more he knows what he's supposed to be doing.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, bro. That's beautiful, bro. Like I said, bro, I always see you with your with your with your family, bro. Yeah, that's how that's how it was for me. Yeah, bro, it's just a beautiful thing, you feel me, bro? Because I know how much time. And my daughter's only two, but I know how much time I've invested already. Sure. And that's been the main reason. Yeah. I'm asking you these questions because it's been, these are questions that's been shaping the last two years of my life, also.

SPEAKER_02

Right, right.

SPEAKER_01

I just have my daughter, and I know the reason why I haven't been able to attend to the fans, attend to get in the studio the way I will really, really want to, write music the way I really, really want to, and I have been before, is because I got her and I know how much time I'm invested into her, you feel me?

SPEAKER_02

It's a trade-off, yeah. It's a trade-off sometimes, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You feel me? So she's still young, you feel me? But bro, I just think that that's a beautiful thing, bro. Bro, I got a question, right? I saw a few people talking about this actually, bro. Um Bro, is sharing your location with your spouse an evasion of privacy? Or do you think it's like the opposite? It's a good thing. Like, what do you think about that?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, in any relationship, I feel like you grow to a certain point. You know what I mean? A certain point of trust, a certain point of, a certain point of duty, you know, all these different things. And like, for me, like the sharing of location, I share my location with my chick with my wife, my chick. She gonna like that. Anyway, I share my location with my wife, you feel me? And I mean, for me, it's really about safety, her being able to know what I'm what I'm on or where I am in the event anything go on. She probably one of the first people I would call regardless. Feel me? Um, but at the same time, I grew to that point. Right. You know what I'm saying? When we got together, what about you ain't location? Like, what are we talking about? You feel me? That's crazy. You know, when you want to grow with someone, you there's there's compromises that you make. There's things that you don't deem as serious anymore that you might have deemed serious years ago. You feel me? So for me, I share location with my wife. Um, and it it whatever that appeases her with, is it sits with her. Doesn't bother me. Right. Feel me, but I do understand the niggas who on that tip, like, I'm not, I mean, I ain't I ain't doing it. I mean, you gonna have to give me a call or or FaceTime, whatever that is, you feel me? So I do understand that, but for me, I grown past that point.

SPEAKER_01

I feel you. I feel you. And I feel like I agree with you 100%, but I feel like like you said, when you locked in with somebody, bro, right, and I'm just being honest, you feel me? And I'm sorry if this offends anybody Easy Money Podcast, you gotta get anybody the wrong way. But if you locked in with somebody, bro, I feel like with the technology that we have nowadays, back in the day, you wasn't able to do that.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

If anything happens, bro, you know what I mean? Like, it just makes so much sense to do it now that we have the opportunity to do it. Cause I do it also. Like, you feel me? Like, and I got mad people locations on my phone. I'm keeping 100 with you. I probably got like seven people locations in my phone, to be real with you.

SPEAKER_02

As do I, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I got my lady, yeah. I got my little brother, my little sisters, both of them.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. I got all my kids.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I got my homies back, two of my homies in New York. Like, we all, just so that we know where each other, you feel me? My cousin that lived ten minutes from me, like, yeah. But this is just like you said, it's more of a a safety feature.

SPEAKER_02

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

For me, like that's how I see it.

SPEAKER_02

I could lose my phone, anything. Right. And you mean she got the low. Where that joint at? Did I drop it in the market? Like, it's a lot of things, you know what I mean, that people not really thinking about it. You just think about the obvious. And if you if you own all of that, then you know what's you know what I mean? There don't need to be nothing else that needs to be said. That's real too. For me, but for me, it's more useful than anything. For real. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because you're not worried about the BS. No. Because the BS is not even a part of the plan, so it makes sense to do it, bro.

SPEAKER_02

For sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

That's just what it is, bro. Yo. Bro. Why the hell did 50 Cent say that he bought the damn building that Jim Jones?

SPEAKER_02

Man, yo, 50 doing what he been, 50 doing what he does. He just doing it without rapping now.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, I don't understand like that.

SPEAKER_02

50 been a bully.

SPEAKER_01

This nigga get every video, this nigga Jim Jones kicking down the door inside, man, for real. Take the picture with the bull, it's like, damn, like, how can you go against this man when he doing this type of stuff, bro?

SPEAKER_02

I think any artist, any really anybody, because he'll go at an actor, uh, he don't really care. Like, feel me? Like, anybody that goes into a 50, I mean, honestly, like, all jokes aside, 50 is just a tactical, crafty dude. He's always been like that. You know what I mean? He he brag more about how he ends niggas' career than his own career. Yo, you know what I'm saying? He brags about that type of shit rather than pumping up all the albums and all the sales he made. You know what I'm saying? And all the records he broke.

SPEAKER_01

For sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

He talks about like, yeah, I ended bro career, and he he can't mess with me. And this person, you be like, damn. So, like anybody go go go at it with 50. You you just gotta be, you either gotta be very prepared, bro, or you and you gotta have thick skin. Because bro gonna, 50 gonna do it. He gonna press it.

SPEAKER_01

Only one nigga so far, I feel like one in their little scuffle with 50, and that's Jadakiss. Because nothing happened after that. And Jadakiss dropped the diss song that was just Yeah, and and 50 spoke on that.

SPEAKER_02

You feel me? He spoke on the fact that when he heard them lyrics, he said that that hit a little different. Like he was like, oh, alright.

SPEAKER_01

Then he pulled up the D block, and then the beef was squashed. Straight like that. I feel like Jadakiss remembered.

SPEAKER_02

But like they said, 50 came dolo. He ain't come on no right how they be saying he got a million people and all that. He said he pulled up.

SPEAKER_01

Straight out because he wasn't coming to fight. Like the nigga, like, all right, bro, like you got me. I feel like that's what it was. But speaking of 50 Cent beef, this nigga 50 Cent is even he beefing with five niggas at the same time, first of all.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, all of them.

SPEAKER_01

The nigga beefing with Jim Jones and the whole cast.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The nigga goes partner up with Jim Jones landlord. That's crazy work. If that's true.

SPEAKER_02

That's doing your homework.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. If it's true, that's crazy work. And from the way that he getting these videos, it looked like it is true. But I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean, I seen I seen a recent video where they were saying that Jim got a five-year lease.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

I seen that. I forget who was saying it.

SPEAKER_01

Because it don't make sense how to do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because they still and they still in there. Yeah, they still in there. So if anything, like, I think the level that 50 willing to go to to troll into into bed off of dude. Right. Is is just it's just that's why I say he applying the same pressure. He applying, he applied in music, he just not rapping.

SPEAKER_01

And the whole time, bro, this is the crazy part.

SPEAKER_02

Because he was going to give people baby moms and taking them shopping, people, kids, all type of stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Like at the same time, all of his products is being pushed by this machine. Oh, yeah. You get what I'm saying? He, like you were saying, he talked more about ending niggas' careers than his music. But when he does that, that pushes the music even further.

SPEAKER_02

I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Than him just going up there and talking about niggas gonna go buy his tickets. Niggas gonna go watch whatever show he got on that song, television. Mind you, he does put out great work also. For sure. For sure. That nigga really, really learned the algorithm. Yeah. But bro, the nigga even beefing with T.I. TI and his sons.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. TI Sons is Yeah, man. Listen, I think like, I mean, tip tip tip dropped a few records. I I I like the the the the one where he didn't drop the whole drone. I think it's called just like it's just like a 26-second drone. And he was cooking him. But Oh, he he dropped the he dropped the disc track? Tip dropped like four disc tracks.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I ain't know that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he dropped like four of them joints. Damn, I gotta do my whole, I ain't know that. Oh, yeah, he dropped a few.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't know his sons each dropped one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he tip dropped a few too.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

And he got he dropped a snippet of one that I thought was dope, but he never dropped that whole record. I guess he's holding that heater. But the other the other joints that he dropped was cool for me, but you know, tip tip ain't worked out in a minute either. Like, you know what I mean? So he a little sound a little dated on some of them, but he definitely still tip. And tip got I think tip got a hot record out right now, produced by Pharrell. Yeah, I'm fucking with Tip. Yeah, I'm messing with that for real.

SPEAKER_01

He definitely do. He got a crazy joint right now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm messing with that one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I heard he got a banger out right now, bro. He got a banger out. But I heard that he's working on a TI and tiny documentary.

SPEAKER_02

50? Now he going, now he going Netflix, your chick.

SPEAKER_01

Because you know, remember they was in that lawsuit. I don't know, yeah, with the shorty.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You feel me?

SPEAKER_02

And that was they folks. She was like, folks, for real. I remember that.

SPEAKER_01

If 50 dropped a documentary about T.I.

SPEAKER_02

and Tiny. Like you said, it's all alleged. Right. So at the end of the day, he just might do it just because he cause he got them ears. He got them rooms.

SPEAKER_01

He willing to pay people.

SPEAKER_02

50 can get he can get stuff greenlit like that. Probably. I mean, all the shows he, I mean.

SPEAKER_01

The same way he's getting this footage of Jim Jones in his building.

SPEAKER_02

Kicking the doors and.

SPEAKER_01

Like, you getting the worst of the worst. Like these niggas in there and they seeing they breath because the old head done turned the. You feel me?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, it's just, I don't know, bro.

SPEAKER_02

I'm I mean, my thing, my thing with Jim and them though, is like I think that they are in the podcast space now, which means like this isn't music. So they just gotta grow tougher skin and and let things roll, like, let things roll up. Like, I feel like the other the other members on the pod is like Fab, the others is not as Jim, Jim just got chip on his shoulder. And he he he he reacts, you know, on social media back and forth, whereas the other dude, you know, Fab decided to rap. He picked up a pen. Right. I mean, it's getting the.

SPEAKER_01

And I don't understand that neither. Just to backtrack, because we spoke about that on a few episodes ago, but it seemed like Fab is the only one willing to go at 50 on the rap.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like the rest of them, they was just rapping.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But Fab went, like Fab did his homework, it seemed right. But the rest of them was just like on some. Yeah, like, like they ain't get the message. They ain't got the memo. It was like, nigga, we beefing. Is we beefing or not? Like, what's really going on? So I feel like they kind of threw Fab under the bus. I don't want to say threw him under the bus, but it just kind of seemed weird to me. You feel me? Yeah, I agree. That is like, I don't even want Fab part to be attached to the rest of the drawing.

SPEAKER_02

Right, right, right. I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Like, you feel me? Because it just don't make no damn sense. But regardless, 50 is 50, bro. Dog, this nigga's killing it, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah, bro. And he he's super successful as a businessman now, right? Like, and as a as a as a mogul for real, for real. Like, you know, like all the careers that he he helped, like, like flourish. So I I mean, I I'm a 50 fan. I'm a G Unit fan. You feel me? Like, I I respect they run. I respect everything 50 did in the music industry. Like, and now I respect even more how he was able to rebrand and go into a whole different lane. And I mean 50 always was in movies and stuff. Like, you know, people forget. Like, he he what it didn't he get skinny. He got skinny for the one drone. When he had cancer. Bro, we had cancer and all that. That drone went back. You know what I mean? But like, yeah, that was I never even watched it. But I admired the fact that bro was committed to that role. Like, you feel me? Like, cause that's that's hard to do. Like, up and down and weight and all that. And as big, you know, as big as 50 was. What? That check had to be something crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Before AI. So that was him. That was Curtis. One of the niggas that 50 done beef with. Floyd says that he's coming out of retirement.

SPEAKER_02

I seen that.

SPEAKER_01

They say he's gonna box Tyson in an exhibition. Then he's gonna fight Manny Pacquiao for a second time, and it's gonna be a professional fight.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That must I like in my opinion? I don't know. They talk about Floyd is broke, uh, you know, or he needs more money. I I'm not, like, listen, I'm not counting that man Pac. He got whatever broke to him is, is probably super crazy rich to us. So like anybody that's that's talking about his pockets, I'm not on that. But I will say, like, I feel like in the exhibition, he just gonna run from Tyson and punch on him a little bit, show some defense. Man, he's not about to get knocked out by Tyson. And Tyson definitely not getting knocked out by him. I think that's just a check for the two of them. Yeah. Um, and then also to getting back in the ring, back in that field. Because if he do fight Manny, that's gonna be a good job. I think that's gonna be a great fight. But they both old as hell, bro. That's why.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That's why the playing fields are even. The playing fields is even. I felt like it was a time where Manny was super good and Floyd was aging. So now it's like, come on, man. Like y'all, y'all both, y'all both aging around the same way in the same time. Manny only one year younger than Floyd. For sure. But I just feel like Floyd had so much, he just seemed like he was so much better than Manny. Yeah. Um It was a shut out, that fight. Yeah, yeah. First fight was a shut out. Yeah, I didn't I watched that fight.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I'm not excited, too excited for the second one, bro.

SPEAKER_02

But but you know, Manny's gonna go crazy.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna try.

SPEAKER_02

That's what I like.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna try.

SPEAKER_02

But I want to see if Floyd still was able. The first fight, it was. No, no, we buying the tickets for the same thing with Floyd. Yeah, like every fight I bought it. I just you really fight, you really buy the fight to see if Floyd might lose. Somebody might catch him.

SPEAKER_01

But Shane Mosley got the closest. Yeah. Mosley got the closest. And look how that turned out for Mosley.

SPEAKER_02

Like them rounds after that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, as soon as Floyd tightened up, everything after the third round was because Floyd clenched, like he went and grabbed him real quick. Like, oh. Yeah, he felt that joint. You see his knees buckled it off. He felt that. Yeah, I remember. But do you feel like Floyd is only coming out of retirement because Terrence Crawford just retired? Yeah, yeah. I mean, like, I feel like Crawford was still fighting. Yeah. Niggas would be like, nah, bro, you know you gotta rumble, you know who you gotta rumble.

SPEAKER_02

I think when you get to a certain level, you you you you get comp you know, you get, you get, you feel like you're getting forgotten about a little bit. Right. Right. And I think Floyd is more or less coming back. They talking about the money. He's coming back to hear the roar of the crowd again. Suffering from He wanna hear niggas cherry him on again. Okay. He wanna go to the club.

SPEAKER_01

Floyd that type of nigga.

SPEAKER_02

50 bottle or whatever he's going through just to let people know, like, I'm still here, like I'm still one of the greats. Yep. And he retired at 50 and oh, and they they they hated the fact that it was with uh what was that, Connor McGregor. McGregor, right. It wasn't even with him. He made all that bag, he enjoyed his retirement, probably sailed here, flew here, did all this stuff, and now he's bored, and he just like, yo, let me get back to it. Okay, straight like that. And if he keeps himself, he looked like he kept himself in pretty good shape, you know what I mean? Who knows? But I'm telling you, I think he's gonna look good. Man, he come out there. Hey, Floyd, that shoulder roll better be man.

SPEAKER_01

Better be on shoulder roll game.

SPEAKER_02

Right. I'ma need it. Like that. Because I'm definitely picking Floyd.

unknown

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of boxing, the boy Ryan Garcia, right? That's the last name. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. He just won the WBC belt versus Barrios. I'm gonna tell you, bro. Barrios. I watched the fight.

SPEAKER_02

They was hyping him up when he was fighting Javante.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, I did not like the fight, bro. Yeah. I ain't watched the fight. Like, Ryan just whooped on him, bro. Yeah. Like it wasn't like a like a he he took the belt from him, but to me, it didn't look like a championship fight.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, cuz Barrios is just like a warrior. He just be taking punches and all that. Right. I don't really see, like, when Javante was fighting him, I he was throwing a little bit, but I remember Javante just hooked him. Good night. That was that. Yeah, he had the power to knock him out. Ryan beat you like everyone. It was Javante. I think he fought Tank. I think he did. Yeah. Barrios. Yeah, yeah, he did. Oh, he did for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah, he fought him. He got knocked the fuck out.

SPEAKER_02

Got knocked out, yeah. And they was pumping him up. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I'm like, is this really a championship fight? Like that drone was like Clarissa Shields just fought the Shorty, and that fight was better. Even though the Shorty they got knocked out, the Shorty was hitting like that. Was like a all-out rumble.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was yeah, that girl, that girl put up a lot of, she, she, she had, she showed a lot of heart. Like because Clarissa was punching on her, bro. Oh my God. I was like, damn. Like my heart was. Bro, she she she she might knock a few few dudes out. No cat. Oh, Clarissa? Yeah. No, for sure. Like straight up. I'm talking about boxers. Hell yeah. You mean cuz I mean, I don't know. But maybe not. They still know. Maybe not a boxer. Yeah, maybe not a boxer. Or maybe not like a great boxer, like a top. But I'm saying, like, somebody who amateur. She might catch you. Yeah. She big. And she throw combinations. She was punching on that girl, but that girl definitely was taking it. She had a chin. She was.

SPEAKER_01

And that's the second time they rumbled. Oh, I ain't know that. Yeah, that's the second time they rumbled.

SPEAKER_02

Oh damn, that's why that joint was personal.

SPEAKER_01

They're saying that Javante is coming back also. He needs to. Tank. Like, and it's like, damn, bro, you need to come back. What's going on?

SPEAKER_02

I'm a tank fan.

SPEAKER_01

You feel me? But tank. Especially the way that niggas is talking.

SPEAKER_02

Come back, gang.

SPEAKER_01

Tank Shakur, who you got?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know, man. That's tough. Tank versus Shakur. That's tough. It is. Because Shakur active right now, right? He ain't been sitting on the couch. He that boy right now. And he got incredible defense. He's an incredible defensive fighter. Yeah. Um, and Tank defense ain't been looking too good in his last couple fights, in my opinion. He I ain't saying he's a defensive fighter. Right. But he's been taking punches.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Somebody the ball became a star. Roach became a star of the fight.

SPEAKER_02

Roach became a star of the fight. Yeah. Because you should, you, you, you, you was getting your clear shots. You just might not have been in shape or you might not have taken them serious enough. Right. And you wasn't, you just did the knockout, didn't it? Never happen.

SPEAKER_01

Mind you, his main trainer wasn't training him that fight. I remember that. His main trainer. And I feel like the two fights where he didn't knock the nigga out, that's when the other the bull with the ball head was training him. Yeah, and that's when you wasn't training him.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's when you probably gotta get to that. You it's something behind the scene. Whereas though Calvin might require a lot more out of him for whoever he's fighting.

SPEAKER_01

Calvin knows how to get the best out of Javante Jake Davis. Exactly. Bro, please. If you're coming back, bro, please just rock out with Calvin, bro. There's no way you're gonna lose, bro. I promise you. The other nigga, I don't care how long you known him, I don't care how close he is to Calvin. I don't know what the relationship is and why y'all even be doing that in the first place. Right. But bro, come on, bro. Yeah. If he would have just stuck with Calvin, bro, throughout his whole career, bro, he'd have all knockouts. I really, really feel like that, bro. Yeah. You feel me? Yeah because like you said, it just you could see the difference when he's fighting all the other fights, every fight except for the two fights, bro. Yeah. That the boy was training him.

SPEAKER_02

And he should see, if we can see it, gotta see it. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

It was Roach, and then before Roach, it was the nigga that Roach just fought. The boy they call Pitbull. I forget his name. Pitbull. He's a Puerto Rican boy. He's calling Pitbull. That's the only two fights where Javante did it, knock a nigga out. Like, you feel me? So it's obvious that Coach Calvin is bringing something out, pause, that this nigga is not really, you feel me? Right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Coach Calvin definitely probably require a lot more out of him, whether it's for camp or, you know, diet and whatever it is. Right, right. He feels though. And he, like in all the press conferences, Tank is usually kind of awkward. You know what I mean? He don't really got much. Right. He was just not like he was being very disrespectful to the boy. Like, not really giving him his his just due. Just saying, like, you from the town, so I'ma rumble you, like type shit. I'm putting you on, basically. Yeah, exactly. So you know, you need Calvin Tank. You mean fall with Calvin, go in through camp, get yourself prepared, because I feel as though Shakur, he locked in.

SPEAKER_01

No, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

And he's becoming a star. For sure. So I think that it's gonna, he's more, he got more fuel to his fire. Especially with that Terrence Crawford behind him. Yeah, that stamp. It's a good stamp. You feel me? He's showing up at your fights, he's popping it. That's your man.

SPEAKER_01

So it's like, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Terrence probably ain't gonna pop it unless he knows how hard you're working. Facts. Because he ain't about to put, you mean, he's not gonna put his reputation on the line. Yeah, why would I do that?

SPEAKER_01

That's a fact. We're gonna switch gears real quick, right, bro? Yeah. The NBA. So commissioner the Silver, he's the commissioner of the NBA.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He implements these new rules, effective immediately, to stop these NBA teams from tanking. Bro, I feel like even the fact that he had to do that is just so disrespectful to the sport.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I'm sure the OGs feel that way too.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, these niggas is. I remember Michael Jordan said, yo, that's why I said that. I'm gonna go all out in every game. Yeah. Because the random fan that paid all his bread to come see me, he might not get another shot. He might not get another shot, yeah. You feel me? Niggas probably took off work or whatever he had to do to come see me, bro. Right. Save done. All the way up in the nosebleeds. I'm sitting for the game. And you watching on a monitor, he just trying. Like, so it's like, I feel like the NBA players have a duty to the fans, also, and I understand when they be like, they doing what's best for themselves. If you really hurt, bro, sit out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But bro, if you not hurt, bro, come on, bro. Come play. Do what you love. Like, what the hell is that? Do what we love to see you do. Gang, imagine we on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They book us for a concert. And then we just walk out on the stage and the music playing and we don't perform.

SPEAKER_02

That ain't happening.

SPEAKER_01

Like, isn't that exactly what these niggas is doing?

SPEAKER_02

I agree. I think that, I think that the NBA, like, obviously it's changed because of the player empowerment. Like, it's so much about them at this point. Facts. I think the fans are second. The fans is first in the NBA offices and executives, but I think the players look at it like it's us, then y'all. And that's the mindset that I think that is taking over the NBA and I, I, I, rather than like, you know, AI used to always say it, like, man, I'm giving everything I got for the six. This man used to kiss the floor, gang. Exactly. I used to kiss the floor. Feel me? Of the first union center for the people who don't remember. Like, he used to kiss the floor and let it be known, like, I'm out here giving him my all for them. People, I wore the sleeve because he was injured. He had an injury. He was from Dunkin' and doing all these things, and he ain't missing no games. He like, yo, create me something, Rebok, do something. Feel me? So I think like that, that, that, that player empowerment has been good in some ways because these players getting that cheese. These players getting that cheese. And they got the heart, the the, you know what I mean? To step up in certain areas. And certain players is is is making themselves more privy to like the NBA, the rules, and the history of everything, the Chris Pauls and the and the people who who really trying to be a student of all of it. You know what I mean? So I think that that's what's really happening. But I think the tanking, I'm not a fan of it. Obviously, the Sixers tank for years with the process and all that stuff. We was trash for like five, six years in a row. Feel me? And and who was, yeah, I mean, I had season tickets at one point. They trying to tell me Tony Roten was gonna beat it. I'm Tony Roten, like what, bro? Yeah, and then MB get drafted, and he got injured, and I'm like, man, this is not happening. Then Ben Simmons came, we start turning up a little bit. He wouldn't shoot the rock. Feel me?

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, the tanking is not my uh don't forget about uh um um you probably forgot about this nigga. Remember, no Marquez Fulton or Remember the Four. Yeah, he had the crazy accent that he had the report. Yeah, yeah, bum. Like we had, like you said, we tanked for so long. We were so corny for years. From watching. We had good draft picks for like three years. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then like we got New Orleans, Noel. We still waiting. Uh Omeka Okafor. He ain't even in the league.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, we've got to trust the process. What are we trusting at this point?

SPEAKER_02

He said I don't even want to go by the process no more out there.

SPEAKER_01

What are we waiting for, bro? And I'm a Philly fan by default, but I've been here long enough where it's like, I gotta rock with the Philly squad.

SPEAKER_02

Anybody who coming here to visit Philadelphia, just know this is an Eagles town. Yeah, that's a fact. This is an Eagles town, whether they trash or not, but this is the Eagles town and we far from trash.

SPEAKER_01

That's a fact, bro.

SPEAKER_02

The Sixers, they do what they do every year. For the most part, they might go to the playoffs, losing the first round. At the end of the day, what's there to be excited about? They be killing us. So y'all got y'all gotta get us turned up. That's how Philly works.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of, speaking of niggas killing us. You seen the big news about this nigga, Rashad McKenzie. You know Rashad McCant? Yeah, I be watching at Girls Arena. This nigga be burning me out so bad, bro. So they came up with all the receipts that this nigga was quitting during his pre-draft workouts.

SPEAKER_02

And bro ain't addressed not one of them. Cuz he ain't addressed not one of the one of the accusations. Like, bro. What are you doing? You talking all this. Talking about he gonna he wanna fight and all this. I said, oh no. Cause not when he the dude on every other, if it was like, if it was one of the cast members, he the came out with the body bag, the hood.

SPEAKER_01

All the extra shit. But then when Darren Williams accepts your invitation to fight, and like, nigga, well, I got the ring now. You don't want to rumble. You getting mad at your cast members now, because Brandon Jennings was like, well, bro, you know, uh D. Will said he got the ring. Like, what's up? He like, nah, nigga, I don't need you to ask me the questions that they asked you. Yeah, I watched that. Nigga, you brought it up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What are you talking about?

SPEAKER_02

And at the end of the day, we that again, understand where we at. We here to pie. We here to talk about the current events, the things that's going on in our world with one of our co-hosts. Exactly. So you on here dressed like a doctor and all through all this extra like a surgeon and all this. We just trying to find out what's the word like, and he get upset with them. So you gotta think about it, bro. Clearly, he just emotional.

SPEAKER_01

He was a top 10 in the truth hurt lottery. Yeah, he was. North Carolina dropped to number 14.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You was predicted to be top 10. You was the number one shooting guard in the country. The niggas that's grinding him up said this.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, facts.

SPEAKER_01

You probably was the number one shooting guard in the country coming out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How else do you drop to number 14 if what they say isn't true? Yeah, it all is true. Obviously, when you was going to them workouts, you wasn't doing something, nigga, because they was you was anticipated to go number 10. Right.

SPEAKER_02

Like, that don't make it don't make sense, gang. It makes no sense.

SPEAKER_01

That's why you're not addressing the allegations, bro. Because you know that what they're saying is the truth.

SPEAKER_02

That's a fact. That's a fact. And Gil said it. Like Gil basically said, he said, bro, you don't want to talk about it because you clearly something something in them workouts is is adding up in your mind. So now you talking about you want to fight, and then they tell you they want to fight, and this, that, and the third. Right. Amen. And like he said, if I'm them, I'm gonna keep bringing more and more people on to the pie. Right. That can validate the thing. Verify what the hell you right. We're gonna give views off your name. Come on, bro. And what's gonna stop it? Because it's the truth. Right. So, yeah, I mean, and I like McCantz because he got a different opinion.

SPEAKER_01

I don't like that nigga.

SPEAKER_02

And I like how, I like how bro gonna stand on his word. He do, though. And that's the thing that threw me off with this situation, because I'm like, oh, this is chance. Let him know. Right. And he like, listen, man, we could rumble. Then Darren, like, all right, bet. At my gym or where you wanna go? And now it's like, man, I ain't even about to, yeah, all right. So then we ain't on that then.

SPEAKER_01

Can't trust a nigga that wear fake J's, cuz.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, some of them joins be questionable, McCants.

SPEAKER_01

You can't trust the nigga that we're fake questionable. The nigga had the J's, the 11th.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And they was Burberry.

SPEAKER_02

Some of the jerseys and stuff be uh a few of the things be questionable.

SPEAKER_01

Ah, the J's was Burberry. It had the Burberry print all over it. Custom? That's why him and the girl got into an artist.

SPEAKER_02

He was doing shit like that back in the day, though.

SPEAKER_01

But I'm like, bro, where why are you doing this?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I know you're not rich like the rest of these niggas, but you just I just get like 2008 with him.

SPEAKER_02

Like, that's the swag I just get from him. It's just a pure 2008. And even in his Nelly video, he's stuck back there. Yeah, just that's I just get it's hot and hit. Like I get that. When I see him and I rock with McKenzie, like I said, his opinion on the pod, all that. But crown and all, I just get like vibe magazine. He is you know, type junk.

SPEAKER_01

Ever since that one episode where you call LeBron the king, the nigga with wearing a crown.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's what that's inspired by. Okay. See no more. He don't he he be he don't like LeBron like that either.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he don't that's why when you said 2008, it makes so much sense. Because like, in my mind, he's stuck in 2008 literally. Because he be, they'll ask the question, well, on the couch, yeah, who the best?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The nigga be talking so heavy, but it's like, bro, come on, bro, cut it out. Yeah, nobody has come on that show yet that's tougher than Gil. Yeah, not even none of their guests yet, or nothing like that. I don't think, bro. Nobody's came on the show that was tougher than Gil at that time, nigga. Like McCann's. We're keeping it a bean. We as the public only know you because of the show. We don't know you for basketball, bro. Real rap.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

Nobody was playing with McKenzie. Them days is over. Yeah. It's just the truth. That's a fact. You ain't do what you was supposed to do in the NBA, bro.

SPEAKER_02

That's a fact.

SPEAKER_01

You went number 14, which is still great. You still could have had a tough career if you was on your shit. You wasn't, bro. That's nobody's fault but your own, bro. You can't blame other people for that. You feel me?

SPEAKER_02

Hey, no, real rap. Yeah. He played in the big three and all that. You know what I mean? Like, I again, I'm not here to shit on or you know, trash on nobody's story. You feel me? Like, but McCains definitely like didn't do his part with that situation. I didn't like how he handled it at all. It's obvious. Yeah, like, come on, gang. You you said all of this too. Like, you, you, you said how you wanted to rumble. And this could get it could get real. We could go on a court. You called out each member on their couch and said, Yeah, we yeah, we could go here, there, anywhere.

SPEAKER_01

Now it's time to go and the nigga talk. And then you don't even want to speak on what they what they saying. Right.

SPEAKER_02

And now you mad at Gil and you mad at Like Gil said, this is supposed to be the response episode, and you ain't even responding.

SPEAKER_01

Like, what the hell? What are you doing, bro? Bro. Straight up. Them niggas, bro. I can't, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Freedom chance, man.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, you know, it seemed like we at war right now. I'm pretty sure you've been watching the news, though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, because, like, they say that we attacked Iran.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I believe so.

SPEAKER_01

So Trump has officially, even though you could see what was it was leading up to, because he was at the meeting with the I don't know what he's called, but like the president of um Israel.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I mean? Right. So now they just put in the news that Iran was launching missiles towards all of our embassies in the Middle East.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. Yeah, yeah, I seen that.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I'm saying? But obviously, they were provoked in some type of way. Because just two weeks ago, they was asking for our help.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They were just asking for our help. Now they're attacking us. Bro, how do you feel about the state that the country is in behind the leadership of Donald Trump at the moment?

SPEAKER_02

Um, man, like I feel as though Donald Trump is just, first of all, I feel like Donald Trump entered presidency just based off of like, y'all think I can't win? Like, why why what make you think I can't win this? Right. And he won. That was the first thing. I don't think he ever really cared about politics because he was already making money and doing proofing big dollar billion dollar deals. You know what I'm saying? So I think that he was a dude that understood big business and wanted to operate at a larger scale. Right. Obviously, the largest scale that one man can have and running our country. And I think that with that knowledge, he just said, I'm gonna sharpen up a little bit. I'm gonna brush up on some some some some politics and some laws and different things. But for the most part, you know, you got people working for you telling you what you should and should not do for the most part, what the last president did or what this person would do, and then all that, you just signing documents and moving forward. But um, for me, like, I feel like Trump has no leadership qualities, honestly. Except for pandering and just and just saying the things that his demographic of people would want him to say. Right. And that's how he got elected. That appeal to a certain group. That appealed to a certain group and empty promises, just a bunch of words and propaganda. And I feel as though that's the scary part. Right. Right. You know what I mean? But with this being his last term, and me thinking of Trump how I think of him, I feel as though he just trying to go out with a bang. Feel me? Like, listen, we going to war with these dudes. I did see a video the other day where they had, where, where Kamala has spoke directly to Iran in a press conference saying, like, whatever they had going on, it needs to stop because like this, but she ain't saying obviously how Trump basically didn't even do a press. He came out like, we're going to war. You know what I'm saying? Like that. And then uh I saw another video of uh Biden saying the same thing, like issuing a little message to Iran for whatever was going on that we ain't know about. Right. So it's definitely a scary time because our president is not a leader.

SPEAKER_01

Bro.

SPEAKER_02

Not a leader at all.

SPEAKER_01

I still don't understand how this man got the first term, let alone a second one right now.

SPEAKER_02

He got the first term off the heat.

SPEAKER_01

Like, but it's like, bro, y'all really voted for this man?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, yeah, I don't care what color your skin is, bro. You can't see what's going on.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Like, come on, you feel me?

SPEAKER_00

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

It's like, to me, it's like bro, they got too much control, bro, over like every little thing, bro, every little aspect of life. Even to the point where people be saying, like, you know, Siri is the cops, and Siri's the feds, and the phone is the, you know what I mean? Like, you're using everything that you got to just try to keep the keep they foot on our necks, I feel like. Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think that um, I think all the artificial intelligence stuff, all the stuff that's in in, you know, the locations and everything that's embedded into our phones, into our social medias, and and all these apps that we use. Every app asks you, do you want to share your location? Are we allowed to, you know what I mean? Are we allowed to do this? Cookies, you know, all these different things. So I think that what we gotta do as people is just research and try to try to learn as much as we can about all this stuff and what exactly we doing and what exactly we signing or what or what uh needle we taking, you know what I mean? What what with what COVID situation is going, you know, all these different things. We just gotta ask these questions and realize that we got rights and we got things that that laws that are in place to protect us and and and protect anybody that's an American. So, you know, like you just gotta you gotta do your research and you gotta be, you know, like-minded, you know, with certain individuals. You gotta learn with the times.

SPEAKER_01

What was going on in 1990, what was going on in the 2000s, even what was going on in the 2010s, bro, up until 2019, it's not the same thing that's going on there. Right. You gotta move with the time, you gotta get the knowledge. It's out there, it's available to us, like Corey's saying. Like, I agree. It's available, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Seek the knowledge, bro, enlighten yourself, bro. Then you will be able to understand and actually have a fixed position in this battle that we in, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Because it's yeah, because yeah, I'm sorry to cut you up, but like time and time again, you might there's you think about it, you might be in a situation where y'all, you and your homies is talking about a topic or something, and everybody's just guessing, but nobody's just pulling out their phone and be like, well, let's just see what the weather is like in LA in February or whatever. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, it's as simple as that sometimes. You know, Google, you can jump on Google, get the research, and it's people out here who are trying to provide certain information and certain knowledge for people to be able to prosper from and move forward and understand these topics. Because if you don't understand and you never ask, you just you know what I mean, like, then what you expect to learn? You just gonna be in a revolving door for the rest of the until you exactly listening to this person and listening to that person rather than having a mind of your own. Right. You know what I mean? Because if you did cast a vote for Trump, there had to be I would respect you more if you had a plan and an agenda as to why. If you just did it just to be different, then it's like, yeah, you yeah, grow up. Feel me? So yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You think Jim Carrey's been clone?

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't think he's been clone. No. Cuz I don't the clone thing is just people don't understand like what it would probably take.

SPEAKER_01

But bro, when you look at the face though, bro, cuz do not look the same.

SPEAKER_02

That's a fact. Yeah, no, he definitely looked different. But again, like he was just Jim Carrey, bro. He was just he just popped out somewhere, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But then he came back now and it's like something's just off, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, man, bro, bro, bro, whole demeanor was different. That was the thing that was like your face could look different in Hollywood. You know how they are. You mean them them actors, and especially Jim Carreys, they've been rich a long time. Like, they like, bro, man, I want to go get a new face, real. But what will make called his interviews and stuff, he was like totally different. Yeah, I'm like, oh yeah. I don't know. Bro, might have been might have been sedated or something. I'm not sure. Then I seen something where the act where a dude who does makeup or something said it might have that he did it. But to go with and to accept an award and all, I don't believe it. So yeah, something was definitely up with his vibe though, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, I'm not feeling I don't know, bro. Because I love Jim Carrey, bro. I love Jim Carrey movies, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Me too.

SPEAKER_01

The way that he was behaving, the the the the speech patterns, bruh, the language is still. It was totally different. It was just way too much for me, bro. And that's why I even asked you the question, bro, because to even go back to what we was talking about before, bro. We living in scary times right now, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We living in scary times, bro. I agree. Like, the only advice I can even have, bro, like, y'all better go find God, bro, because bro, if we A higher power. If it's about to be in, if we about to be in World War III, if we can visibly see, regardless if the man has been cloned or not, that people is just off.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Things are just weird, like this is not normal, or this is not, I can't say this is not normal because it is the norm right now.

SPEAKER_02

Right, right. It's the new norm.

SPEAKER_01

It is the norm right now, but this is not the way that it was intended to be, I don't think, when God created us as man and woman, bro. I don't think that this was He saw it, he foresaw it because he's all knowing and I'm omnipotent, but this was not the plan that he had for us. Like, this was not, you feel me, bro? I be so afraid, Corey, and as a father, you can help me out with this.

SPEAKER_00

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

At how am I gonna raise my child in this world, bro? When everything is so crazy. Like, I could take my daughter downtown. She can't talk yet, but she's gonna be talking soon. Like she be saying all her little words, like she knows what she wants, she just affirm like the whole thing.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly, exactly.

SPEAKER_01

But what about when she's five years old, bro? And she's walking down the street and she sees something that's odd. And then she asks me, Daddy, why does he have a dress on and something like in that, like I'm afraid? And I know a lot of people is gonna say, oh, like, you know, they're gonna talk. Community, they're not gonna feel comfortable about me saying that, but yeah, why do you guys get freedom of speech and freedom to do and say and sure and communicate and dress and do everything the way you want to, but the people like because me and you as heterosexual, it's something wrong with us, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Sure. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We can't speak our mind, we can't say that no, I'm not okay. It's okay for you to say you're okay with that, but it's not okay for me to say I'm not okay with that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I think I think I think that I think that that part of it is unfair, for sure. And I mean, I just feel like this, you know, with either community, either side of the coin, like, it has to be a mutual line of respect, right? Um, socially, um, physically, however it is, you know what I mean. If I see you in person, whether I see you on social media, I want the same respect that you would give me in person. You feel me? So, you know, like the questions with our children and all those things, children are always gonna have questions. We just gotta be, for me, I just decided that I'm gonna just be that shining example of what I want my son to represent. Obviously, we can't make, I can't make him do nothing. Facts. But I'm gonna do my very best to show him what it is that we represent, what it is that your dad represents. You know, and I do that with my daughters as well. I'm very open and honest about who and what who they talk to, where they going, all these different things. Especially with my stepdaughter, uh, my oldest, she being 13. She's going out more. She's seeing the world without me, without my editing of like, I see something I might not like, I'm gonna go, yo, let's go this way, or let's go that way, or let's not walk down that street. She's learning like to gain those, those, those instincts. You know what I'm saying? And the questions that she's coming back with is leading me to believe that I'm leading them the right way because she's open enough to ask me or communicate with me about that. Okay. So as long as they open enough to ask or communicate, in my opinion, then we doing something right, and then we they they're giving us the opportunity to lead. Right. So if you do see something that's out of the ordinary and they asking about it, then that gives you the opportunity to lead them. Like, oh yeah, we ain't on that. Right. You feel me? We going this way. Exactly. Straight like that.

SPEAKER_01

So speaking of leading, who do you think was being led by the McDonald's CEO? I seen that video. But he couldn't even eat the arch.

SPEAKER_02

Like this, yo. But the bite, pause, but the like, what we doing, bro? Have you had a have you a hair before, gang? Yo, you done seen that. Because you look like you ain't really even won. Try it.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta sell this to me, bro. You go on try a sandwich.

SPEAKER_02

Bro, look like he ain't even want to try his own his own food. This is the product you sell in the millions of what it be saying, millions served. McDonald's, that'd be in there, it'd be in y'all little bio. A million hamburgers sold. Link in y'all bio, million hamburgers sold. Like, and bro, ain't want to take a bite, then show the results. Come on, cuz I seen a dude bite, uh Tic Tac bite is huskier than what he on. I couldn't believe that one. But I ain't know what sandwich was that. He said it had a drop.

SPEAKER_01

That's the one. Oh, that's the okay. So that's the new one. It's a new sandwich, bit the big arch.

SPEAKER_02

Leave it to the actors, gang. If that is you selling y'all commercials be chilling. You should have just if it ain't broke, don't fix it, bro. What was the point?

SPEAKER_01

I would never, first of all, I've been stopping McDonald's.

SPEAKER_02

And now Burger King CEO didn't do one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He actually bit the sandwich. Yeah. Like, and then the thing about the McDonald's CEO is, bro, he took that teeny weenie itzy bitsy spider ass bite. Then he's gonna turn around and show.

SPEAKER_02

But that was, I said the result is crazy. To show me that you didn't even bite the sand. Bro, my son would have bit the burger. Like, he would have eaten the burger again. Like, what we on what we doing?

SPEAKER_01

Bro, I will never ever go there, bro, because you are the CEO. This is your company. Yeah, you 100% back this company. This is why you are a millionaire, whatever you are. Right, yes. And you don't even eat the food, bro. You proved to me that you don't eat from your family.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, as the CEO, bro, probably approved all the marketing, all of that. So you this is what you wanted to put out to the world. Where was the where was the where was the uh the social media print? Who when they print when they finish recording that? Why ain't nobody say, like, bro, no, do it again. Get him another sandwich in here. What we throwing? Like, what are you doing? You gotta bite the sandwich. Bro, bit it like he just ate.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, then he's a vegetarian. Yeah. I'm telling you right now. Probably is. I'm telling you right now, bro. He's a vegetarian. He could not even eat the sandwich. He couldn't even look at the sandwich. Like, everything's untouched. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Did he take a sip of the bev after? I don't even know if y'all, so yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He had the sprite right there, he had the fries right there. Ah, yeah, he's gonna be a good thing. He took it, man. He took the bite of the sandwich that was this big. The piece of bread that was missing was this big. It was crazy. Cuz come on, bro.

SPEAKER_02

He didn't get the cheese and all that problem. Come on.

SPEAKER_01

And he's talking about it. It got the wonderful uh big arch sauce.

SPEAKER_02

He said the dried onions. I said, yeah. But how you know?

SPEAKER_01

Like, for real. No, bro. Nigga, somehow you gotta sit down, bro. Some niggas just gotta sit down.

SPEAKER_02

And I never seen him before. That was my first time. I didn't who are you?

SPEAKER_01

You know who he was, like until until the video came out.

SPEAKER_02

So now you the bed, though. But then again, it could have been a part of their plan.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, bro, McDonald's gonna go. Talking about it. McDonald's gotta go. I bet stop eating fast food anyways, bro.

SPEAKER_02

But I don't eat fast food, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And you on your workout journey now, so I know you ain't, you feel me? You definitely can't be on no fast food, bro.

SPEAKER_02

But it's like, bro, that's over with uh I don't eat no fast food no more, nothing like that. Come on, bro. I ain't at McDonald's in over a year.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like I don't I I probably go stop by and just get some fries real quick. Like if I'm on my way to the studio, I know we're gonna be drinking. I need to do it.

SPEAKER_02

Little stuff like, yeah, something to sit on your, yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Go get a mind you, a large fries is four dollars now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, McDonald's and went up.

SPEAKER_01

It's absurdity.

SPEAKER_02

It's one up, bro.

SPEAKER_01

I remember when we walked to McDonald's after high school.

SPEAKER_02

What? Come on, bro. Man, if you know, you know. Lansdown Avenue McDonald's after school, party.

SPEAKER_01

Until the copyright.

SPEAKER_02

I used to see Freddie in the cut. I see Freddie in the cut. We always just gave her like, yeah, I see you, bro. Yeah, I see you too.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, but like, I can never go there. I can never go, like, my daughter's never gonna go to McDonald's. Like, it's not, no way, because he didn't prove to me that I should go buy that burger. I don't know if that was a commercial.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if that was That's why I say, like, once they was done recording, I'd have looked at him like, can we you wanna do that again? You can't do this. What are we doing? Unless he's unless he overruled it. Like, oh yeah, no, we putting that up. Because I don't even like it. He can do that. Straight like that.

SPEAKER_01

Before we wrap up, bro, I just want to say, um, because we both are artists, you feel me, and I know that we both can appreciate someone like this, bro. Rest in peace to Oliver Power Grant. You feel me? The legendary founding member of the Wu-Tang clan. You feel me? I know we spoke about it. So he was a key co-founder, executive producer, and the business mastermind behind the Wu-Tang clan. Wow. You feel me? Responsible for funding their debut single, Protect Your Neck. Protect your neck. And launching the Wu-Ware clothing line. So he was actually a he was a huge deal of.

SPEAKER_02

Bro, Brandon wise, oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

He was probably just a face in the back. You feel me? Yeah. That background card. Yeah, yeah. He had the rappers.

SPEAKER_02

But he didn't everybody play. He did. Everybody got a role to play. Everybody got a role to play. In the music industry, you the usually the artists are the face. That's usually it. Yeah, obviously the lyrics and everything else, but they the face. It's a whole team behind them making this happen. You know what I mean? From the woo with the dunks, all the way to the clothing. That, that, that, that, that symbol lives on. Like that symbol is gonna live on forever, bro. And when was the woo founded? Probably over what? Yeah, that probably had to be like 1990.

SPEAKER_01

Over over 20 years ago. Yeah, for sure, for sure. Because them niggas came out.

SPEAKER_02

30 years ago, because we were born in 92. I'm 34.

SPEAKER_01

We was young. We was young. We was young, bro. Right around that time, bro. Because you know, that's the time when Wu Tang clan started doing anything for me. Wu Tang clan. When they split up, it was like the early 2000s. That's when Meth and Man and Red Man.

SPEAKER_02

Meth and them went, yeah. Because Meth had sold a couple solo records, I think. And then well, no, yeah, because he had to join with Mary J. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

That's just what I was about to say. Once he did that join, he definitely took his own path. And now he's a great actor. You feel me? Yeah, great actor. Great dude. Seemed like a great dude. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

He be on his gym stuff too. I be seeing Meth.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I be seeing you, bro, on Instagram, bro. I ain't gonna lie, bro. You you inspired me, bro, to get back to it, bro. I be on my joint, bro. I ain't gonna lie. My legs actually sore. No, nigga, I do all calisthenics, bro. Me too. Yeah, I do all the two. Me too, bro.

SPEAKER_02

I ain't uh uh like I went in the gym on some like my dad is uh diabetic and uh he struggles with it. Me too, bro.

SPEAKER_01

I just found out like two, three weeks ago. Uh Papa's in the hospital for four days, but keep going up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Damn, I'm sorry to hear that, bro. Because when my pop going to the hospital, I'd be nervous, bro, because he got a lot of different things going. Yeah, but um sorry, sure, he's diabetic and he struggles with a lot of different little issues. And being his son, you know, sometimes those things is hereditary. So I was looking at myself like, man, I can I need to get a little healthier, you know what I mean? Start getting ahead of the game rather than staying behind it. So that was the inspiration, like to even get in the gym. And then once I got in there, it unlocked so many different things, bro. Like you feel mentally, man, mentally, bro. I'm all the way to the point now because it was a year in January. I'm to the point now, I don't use no headphones, no music, no nothing. I'm just in there just rocking out, appreciating the pain, appreciating the grind, you know what I mean? And just locked in. So, yeah, the gym is definitely where it's at. And I and I know I'm Getting comfortable because I'm talking now. Like I but when I was first going in there, I'm in the corner somewhere. Like, I'm good with I mean, I mean, but now I'm definitely talking to people, asking about my form. People I see in there on the regular, I'm like, all right, bro, what you think of like you know, you need to get it, you mean so yeah. The gym is definitely a good vibe, and it gives you something to do every day. Yes, bro.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, definitely something is wealth.

SPEAKER_02

For sure, bro.
