Welcome to the Morning Charge. This is your moment to slow down, breathe, and get your spirit aligned before stepping into the day ahead. Life moves fast, responsibilities pile up, voices compete for your attention. But before the noise of the world takes over, this is where we come back to what actually matters. This is a place for honest conversations about faith, life, purpose, and everyday battles we all face. No pretending, no religious performance, just the truth. Because following Jesus was never meant to be complicated. It was meant to be real. So whether you're driving to work, you're getting the kids ready, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself, you're in the right place. This is real talk, real Jesus, real life. This is the morning charge. Where did it go? All right, well, good morning, y'all, and welcome in to the morning charge. Real talk, real Jesus, real life. Father, I thank you, Lord, for your word. I thank you, Father, for the people that are jumping in this live stream today. Lord, I pray right now that you would come and that you would bring conviction to hearts. Lord, that you would come and speak to us this morning. Lord, that we want a different way. We want a new way. We don't want to walk the same old path we have been walking. Holy Spirit, we invite you in and we ask right now that you would come and that you would move upon our hearts today. Shine your light bright upon our lives and our hearts. Expose the things to us that we need to see. And Father, may we just get down to business with you. Father, it's the simple gospel. God has a better way for you. He has a better way from you. He came to convict our hearts, not to condemn us over it. If you're feeling condemned and beat down, that is from the enemy. That is not from the Lord. God comes to show you things so He can say, Hey, let me take you by the hand and let me walk you out of this situation because love is what is going to come in that moment and it's going to see you through to the other side. He's got a better way. The Apostle Paul is showing us in a very deep way who Jesus is, the new life that he has for us. Ephesians is six chapters. It's so we'll get through this in six days, most likely. I mean, we're on day three, which is chapter three. All right, so let's see what the Apostle Paul has to say. I am reading from the Passion Translation. Okay. I study from all of them. Okay, I got my new King James Spirit-Filled Life Bible down here with all the notes, and it looks like it's, I mean, you guys can tell. I mean, this has been with us for a while. This is this is this has been around a while. All right. This is this is my go-to. This is where I'm I'm reading and studying from from the most part. All right. But I like to read from the Passion because it is in English where most people can understand. And if I felt like something wasn't explained good enough, I'll explain it. So, all right, there's my disclaimer for all of the skeptics out there. All right, here we go. Ephesians chapter 3, verse 1. Beloved friends, because of my love for Jesus Christ, I am now his prisoner for the sake of all of you who are not Jews, so that you will hear the gospel, the God that God has entrusted to me to share with you. What? He said he's a prisoner? He said he was a prisoner for the sake of all who were not Jews. He's under major persecution even for talking to Gentiles. Okay. He he he really is under persecution here. I mean, we see that, I mean, like we've talked about before in Ephesus is the place where, I mean, the Jews did, they they pretty much did not want to hear what he had to say about Jesus in the synagogues. So he kicked the dust off his feet and he went downtown. He went to the lecture hall, and he's like, I'm gonna preach, I'll preach Jesus over here. I'm gonna I'm gonna preach Jesus over here. And he was more accepted by the Gentiles than by his Jewish brothers and sisters. So he is a prisoner for the sake of all who are not Jews, so that all of us, so everyone could hear the gospel that God had entrusted Paul to share with us, not just those in Ephesus, to share with us, to share with everyone. Amen. Verse three now. For this wonderful mystery, which I briefly described, was given to me by divine revelation, so that whenever you read it, you will be able to understand my revelation and insight into the secret mystery of the Messiah. He said, The Lord has spoken this to me. I am following Jesus, I am led by the Holy Spirit, and I am speaking forth the mysteries of heaven to you, so that you too shall be one that will understand these mysteries. We want to understand the mysteries of heaven. There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of His of this glorious and divine mystery until now. The mystery of Jesus unveiled. I mean, we are the Lord's generation. Every generation here and thereafter, hello? We are right now, we are the Lord's generation in this moment and in this time. What are we gonna do with what we know about Jesus? What are we gonna do with the testimonies that each one of us hold in our hearts? What are we gonna do with the word of God? Are we gonna share it with other people? Or are we just gonna allow the minister to speak it on Sunday morning and that's all the gospel we get? Or you jump into the morning charge, and this is this should not be the only gospel you get. All right, you need to be seeking this out for yourself. Yes, we go through these studies. We have studied several books of the Bible all the way through in this room, okay, already. But I don't want it to end here. Don't ever just take my when we're reading the word and the notes that I give you on it and what the Holy Spirit has shown me. You have got to take this and you have got to begin to study this out for yourself and get with the Holy Spirit and ask him to show you what you need to see in the Word. God, what what do you have for me? Amen. And that's it. Disciple under construction. We're good. We got to take this message, take our testimonies, and shout it from the mountaintops. Shout it from the rooftops, because everyone needs to know the glorious news of Jesus. Jesus is my everything, Jesus is my source of life. Without him, I could do nothing. Apart from him, I am nothing, I can do nothing. For the Messiah. Oh, I'm sorry. Am I getting ahead of myself? Nope. All right, glory to God. I get excited and I lose my place. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit, the divine mysteries. The divine mysteries. Here's the secret, Paul says. Verse 6 The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, hello, into co-heirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body, one with the appointed one. One with the appointed one. The gospel of grace made us wonderful Gentiles, one with the anointed one, co-resurrected, co-heirs with Christ Jesus. He continues to reiterate this and reiterate this and reiterate this. This is a part of Paul's heart. It's a part of his message. Hello? Do we understand our place? Do we understand where we stand with Jesus Christ? Do we understand where we have been seated? Verse 7, I have been made a messenger of this wonderful news by the gift of grace that works through me. Guess what? You too, you too and me have been made messengers of this wonderful news, not to go in our own strength, not to go by ourselves. No, no, no. We have been made as messengers to give the wonderful news by way of the gift of grace that is working on the inside of you. The same grace that met you in your mess, pulled you out, you met Jesus, you got a life change, you started walking and talking a little differently. That same grace that God poured out on you right there in that moment is the same grace he gives you when you go forth to share the good news and the message of the gospel. You don't go in your own power. A lot of people are like, I can't open my mouth and say anything. Oh, that just terrifies me so much. To just think about talking to other people, to think about, do not be afraid. The same grace that was poured out in that moment in that day is the same grace he's gonna pour out on you. And he said, if you would just go forth, uh the Bible tells me if I just go forth and open my mouth, he's the one that's gonna fill it. It's not up to me to conjure up things to fill it with. And I think as the Western world church, we have, we have, we have, we've got to a point where we lean too much on our notes and to our things and to our systems than we do on the grace of the Lord to just speak to us what needs to be spoken in that moment. I want to get back to relying on him. I'm not saying don't study, don't make notes. All right, pastors, I'm not saying just I'm not saying that's bad. But what I'm saying is we have relied heavily on what we can pull together and what we can do and and and and making sure we stay in our little guidelines so we don't ruffle any feathers. Okay. We got to get back to a point where we're listening to the Holy Spirit in every moment. We have we have studied the word for ourselves, it is embedded in our hearts so we can begin to recall things in those moments and say, you know what the Bible says, and here's where he brought me through in this situation. And then you begin to pray for people by way of the Holy Spirit. You lay hands on the sick, and people are getting healed by way of the Holy Spirit. All right, we are not the ones that heal people, all right? We are just the change agents that God sends in the moment to begin to pray and begin to press in. And the Holy Spirit falls in that moment, and God is the one that heals, God is the one that delivers, God is the one that sets free, he is the one that restores. We are just the ones that bring the good news to those that need the good news so they can hear it and then they can lean on him for everything else. We've we've put a lot of pressure on ourselves that when we go to pray for somebody, that we get we are the ones we got to make sure we got to heal them. No, no, no, no, no. We we're we're going to go pray in faith with them and link arms with them, and we have to trust the one that heals to heal them. We have to trust the one that delivers to deliver them. I I'm just I'm just one that'll stand up and begin to open my mouth and let him fill it in that moment. And then I'm going to be quiet when he's not filling it with anything, and I'm going to watch him do what he does. I will rejoice in the simple gospel. I will rejoice in you, Lord. We're messengers. And even though I am the least significant, Paul goes on to say, of all his holy believers, he says, I'm I'm the least I'm I I am not that I'm not that significant of a dude. I was a dude that didn't really like people, especially those that were following this Christ dude. I was on my way to Damascus to get some things signed into order that we can rid off these crazy fools. And then he was blinded by the light, began to hear the voice of the Lord. Another man heard a voice and said, Hey, there's this guy, Paul. I need you to go deliver this message to him, deliver the message to him. Boom, he's delivered from his blindness. And when he see, see, see, see, we got to get into the moments like Paul got into where we're blinded by a bunch of junk in our lives, and we have such an encounter with the Lord to where we can begin to hear his voice and know what his voice sounds like again instead of the voice of the world that continues to get poured upon you. We've got to go and we've got to get to a point where we're blinded by all the junk of the world. Hello? See, that's how God had to meet Paul. God knew he had to, he knew he had to blind Paul. Because Paul was looking at everything out here, and he was trying to get favor in the eyes of everybody out here. He said, No, no, no, I need you to look from within. I'm gonna have to force you to look from within. He's calling us to look from within right now. Because if you want to see change in your life, it starts in here. Allow the voice of the Lord to begin to speak to you again, and then you watch your situations and things begin to turn. You watch things that didn't make sense start making sense in your life. Come on. He's got to take us back to looking internally again. Thank you, Jesus. But he says, even though I am the least significant of all of his holy believers, this grace gift was imparted when the manifestation of his power came upon me. We're taking this line by line, especially Ephesians. We've got to look at this the same way Paul looks at it. I am the most insignificant guy. I'm just a I'm a normal dude, okay. Husband, I'm a father, a brother. I'm just a normal guy that loves Jesus. I'm the most insignificant of all of them to deliver anything to anyone, just like Paul is stating here. He says, but this grace gift that was imparted when that manifestation of his power came upon me, that is the thing that that is powering him to be able to do and go and say what where he needs to go and do and say. Grace is what gives you what you need. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Let us see ourselves as the least significant, and that you are the ones that gives us the the the the you're the ones that that gives us the power on the inside of us that we need to do everything that you have called us to do, Lord. Grace alone empowers me, Paul says. Grace alone empowers me so that I can boldly preach this wonderful message to the Gentiles, to the non-Jewish people, sharing with them the unfading, inexhaustible riches of Christ, which are beyond our comprehension. This goes beyond everything that we could think or imagine. It goes beyond all of that. Because our minds can't wrap, our minds cannot wrap around the fact that that this man came and unalived for us so that we can so that we can have life and life more abundantly, like he loved us so much till he was no more. And and now I'm seated in heavenly places. The kingdom of God is at hand. My words matter, like they they have power behind them when I open my mouth and begin to speak. Me? Are you sure me? We're talking about me here. See, a lot of people have been through so much stuff, they just cannot believe that about themselves. I have to believe what the word says about me in order for me to step into the places God wants me to step into. Because if I don't go forward in kingdom authority, I'm just a little, I don't know. I would just be a guy trying to do things in my own strength, and if it happens, it don't, it don't. If God said it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. You got to go forward in kingdom authority, understanding who you are and understanding whose you are to know what to do in those moments, in those times, when he leads you to places and people. I mean, the the the the Holy Spirit. Well, Jesus met Paul in a dream, in a vision, and told him, I'm gonna have you stand before kings. You're gonna stand before kings and you're gonna deliver the good news. Well, I mean, he had to be accused, he had to be put into prison, and he had to be drug all over Rome to get to the center to be able to stand before those in high authority and begin to speak the message of Jesus. That's how Jesus wanted to accomplish it. There's a lot of things that the Lord has spoken to you about, and you're like, me? Me, not me, but when you begin to understand who you really are, yes you, yes you, God wants to use you. He's seen your hearts, he's seen your humbleness. Amen. Yeah, apostle. Apostle said, if you just uh his assignment for you will come to pass if you obey the instructions by faith. If you obey the instructions by faith. Come on. Come on, y'all. We're we're we're going somewhere in this today. And welcome in, everyone. If I have missed you this morning, welcome in. This is the morning charge. It's real talk, real life, real Jesus. I'm here every single weekday morning around 7 a.m. Central Standard Time to do exactly what we're doing right now. Right now, we're going through the book of Ephesians. This is chapter three. We are going through this and we are understanding who God created us to be. Jesus came, gave us the main big message, but then we have the apostles like the Apostle Paul, who we're gleaning from right now, who we have seen as we went through the book of Acts, who we have seen in 1 Corinthians, who we are now seeing in Ephesians, who we saw in Romans. Hello. We've been we've been dancing around Paul for a while now. Are we getting this? Are we getting these words? Yes, he's speaking to regions and he's speaking to them on their levels and what's going on in their cultures, but the principles of these words still matter to us today. All right, and he is specifically talking to the Gentiles. Glory to God. And I'm so thankful by that. Amen. Paul was a true follower, Sean. Paul was a true follower of Christ. He was a true follower of Christ. True follower of Christ. Let us too be true followers of Christ. Amen. Amen. And yes, yes, welcome in everybody. We are the walking, breathing church. Hello? He is building his church right now. And I want him to come and build me. Amen. Build me. Yeah, we're booked to come back to another one of Court Nights. Y'all watch the highlights over here. Amen. Amen. You did, amen, and you got that right. Too. Kingdom change agents. The Lord gave me a whole vision, what, maybe a week or two ago, I think. And he said, he said, kingdom change agents. And he showed us just kind of like the FBI. And he gave me this whole big download on it. But we are kingdom change agents. In other words, when we step into places, we know that we know what is on the inside of us. We know who we are and whose we are. And when we walk into a place, we begin to change the environment because there's an understanding between us and heaven on who we are when we enter in places. It's not just to feel what's going on in that place, but it's to be a thermostat to set the atmosphere in the places that we walk into. That's what we were called to do. But there's so many times we get in these places and we just kind of believe that. Amen. There's Amanda's. There's Amanda's deal. Her main thing between 8 and 8:30 at night. Okay, so y'all go do that. I know you were going on during the day some too, friend. I can't, I'd like I said I can't even keep my schedule straight. Uh oh, glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for your goodness this morning. Thank you for your truth this morning and every morning. If we can't sit here and talk about the truth of Jesus and the truth of the gospels and the truth of the Bible, we might as well just not. Because we're going to talk about the truth. Amen. Who is that? Kara, thank you so much for that. Anyone who has sent their heart me this morning, thanks for that. Amen. I appreciate you guys so very much. Thank you, Jesus. We are messengers of this wonderful news. Grace alone empowers me so that I can boldly preach this wonderful message to non-Jewish peoples, sharing with them the unfading, all right, an unfading that we see here in the Passion Bible. All right. The word unfading comes from an Aramaic word, which is also translated into unquestionable, without fault. The Greek translates it to be unsearchable, but it's this unquestionable, no fault in it, unfading, inexhaustible riches of Christ. We are sharing with them a story that does not fade and will not fade. And it's not just a story. This is the truth of life. Jesus is the only way. He is our only hope. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus, the man Job. There's a reason we went through the book of Job several months ago in here, because we had to see what life was like for Job and how he had to lament with the Lord and how he had to lead up to his life being turned around again. He didn't have a mediator. We had to understand his story so that we could better understand the story of Jesus. We had to understand his story. History. His story. So we could better appreciate and understand what Jesus came and did on the cross for us. We don't have to be like Job. Job cried out for a mediator. Gosh, I would if I only had a mediator, if I only had somebody, if I only. We do. Do we understand that we do? Do we understand? Come on, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Verse nine. My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. Paul's passion was to open people's eyes to the mystery of heaven. The mystery was Jesus. That this man came and he did, and he what? It was hidden for ages past until now, and kept a secret in the heart of God, the creator of all. The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm, God's full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church. Revealed through the church. Every believer is a professor teaching the heavenly realm mysteries and wonders of the grace of God. Once again, I mean, it's a huge mystery that God would give us the grace that He has given us. Amen. And we ain't talking about no greasy grace in here, okay? I'm not talking about you stay stuck in your lifestyle and how you do things and how how you're still in your flesh, but glory to God, He's just going to erase it every day. His mercies are new every morning. Let's not twist the word. That's not it. No, that's that's not twisting the word of God. No, no, no. What it is is the grace of God found you in the middle of your mess, in the middle of your sin, in the middle of your junk, in the middle of your dysfunction. And he came down and you had this encounter with him in the middle of all of it, and he pulls you out of it. You turn your heart to Jesus and he cleans you up and he sets you back on the path again and says, I've given you grace. And you turn around and you say, Well, what about all the stuff I just did? And he says, What stuff? Well, you know the sin that I was in, how could he say, What sin? See, because when you turn to Jesus, he has eradicated all that. We still remember because of our brains, and and Lord help us how they're wired. But when you begin to have those conversations with the Lord, he says, I don't understand what you're talking about. I don't understand eternal sons' ministries. The blood covered it all. Hello, that's the best way to put that. The blood covered it all. The blood of Jesus. But we we we we we can't push past that. All the junk we've done, and you don't understand how bad I was, and you don't understand. Well, Paul was a, I mean, he was a bad, bad man. He enjoyed seeing the stoning of Stephen, and he even impart, he even, even took part in it. And was on his way to have more of that because we need to get rid of these guys. He was a bad guy, unaliving folks. So stop looking from within. And now he is the biggest mouthpiece of, I mean, hello, in the New Testament. Well, he's the biggest mouthpiece here for the Lord and for Jesus and for spreading the good news. He can use you, he wants to use you. Stop saying he can't. No, he can. Yep. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for the blood. We thank you for the blood. Oh, now we're trying to understand these mysteries. The divide, the diverse wisdom that's being revealed through the church that we see here. And this translation can also mean like the church, the university of angels. All right, every believer, we're being a we're a professor to teach, okay? But the angels investigate through our lives the treasure of grace, just like the cherubim who gaze upon the mercy seat. The mercy seat, the place where the Lord sits. We're pressing into the fullness of who we are and whose we are, and understanding our place. Here and in heavenly places. Amen. That's today's morning charge. Before you move on with your day, take a moment and let what you've heard settle into your heart. Faith isn't just something we talk about, it's something we live out in the ordinary moments of everyday life. Wherever today takes you, remember this. You don't walk into it alone. God is already ahead of you, working in ways you may not even see yet. Stand firm, walk in wisdom, lead with love, and don't forget who you belong to.
