The Morning Charge
Close the Doors to the Enemy NOW

On today’s episode of The Morning Charge, Joshua teaches on spiritual warfare, open doors, and why some battles keep repeating in our lives. While spiritual warfare is real, this episode challenges believers to ask a harder question: have we given the enemy legal access through sin, compromise, unforgiveness, bitterness, wrong agreements, rebellion, or hidden disobedience?
This teaching is a direct call to honest repentance, forgiveness, renouncing lies, cutting off compromise, and guarding the freedom Jesus has already made available. If you feel like the same struggles keep coming back, this episode will help you examine what doors need to be closed and how to keep them shut.
Key takeaways from this episode:
- Spiritual warfare is real, but not every battle is random attack.
- Sin, compromise, unforgiveness, bitterness, and rebellion can open doors to the enemy.
- What you tolerate can become what torments you.
- Forgiveness closes doors that bitterness keeps open.
- Hidden sin eventually produces visible fruit.
- You cannot ask God to close what you keep reopening.
- Freedom must be guarded after repentance and deliverance.

Real Talk. Real Jesus. Real Life.
Welcome to the morning charge. This is your moment to slow down, breathe, and get your spirit aligned before stepping into the day ahead. Life moves fast, responsibilities pile up, voices compete for your attention. But before the noise of the world takes over, this is where we come back to what actually matters. This is a place for honest conversations about faith, life, purpose, and everyday battles we all face. No pretending, no religious performance, just the truth. Because following Jesus was never meant to be complicated. It was meant to be real. So whether you're driving to work, you're getting the kids ready, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself, you're in the right place. This is Real Talk, Real Jesus, Real Life. This is the Morning Charge. This morning, very just straightforward for the topic of what I got coming at you is close the doors to the enemy. Straightforward. That's just what the topic is. Close the doors for the enemy. So let's pray. Let's jump into the word. Let's see what God wants to say today. And let's take a look at some things in our lives and see what we may have going on, okay? Father, I thank you for your word. I thank you for this community. I thank you, Father, for what you're doing. Lord, all around the world right now. Father, that you're awakening hearts, you're awakening minds. Lord, that you're bringing people back up out of the miry clay. You've put them back on the potter's wheel, God, and you're beginning to shape folks even now, Lord. Lord, may this be a season of the amazing shaping of our lives, God. Lord, that you're the one that comes and molds us and makes us, God. Lord, put us back on the wheel today as you take off some more of the rough edges in our lives. And we give you permission to move. We give you permission to move in our lives, God, to come and change what needs to be changed. And we give you honor and glory and praise just for your goodness, your mercy, your love, and just for being Abba Father. We love you this morning. In the name of Jesus, amen. Amen. That's it. Close the doors to the enemy. That's where we are going this morning, y'all. And I want you to realize something. The spirit, spiritual warfare is real. All right. The enemy that's roaming to and fro on the earth looking to see who he can devour, the enemy is real. All right. The attacks that the enemy can bring against you are very real. The battles that you're fighting through prayer and praise, hello, because that's how we fight our battles, prayer and praise. The battles you're fighting, all of those things, they're very real and they are happening. But if your life always feels like it's under constant attack and it's it's always unstable, and things always seem to just be chaotic day after day. You always feel like you're getting hitting with those arrows in all the same areas. Well, then at some point, you have to stop blaming everything on the enemy, and you have to start asking an even harder question in your life. And that question is, is there an open door somewhere where I have given him legal access to come in? Sometimes those doors can look like something that you didn't even think could have been a door, but it it possibly could have, because while not every battle is caused by personal compromise or, you know, some battles that they keep repeating over and over and over and over again because a door has been left open through sin, through, through agreement with things you should never have come into agreement with. And that could be spoken words about things. You come into agreement with ill words that somebody says, you came into agreement with that. You coming in agreement gives you legal access to the enemy to come into your life. Okay, bitterness, unforgiveness, rebellion, compromise, pride. Maybe you have those things the Holy Spirit has come around and had you deal with, but you went back on the altar and picked it up. We've been talking about that a lot lately. You go pick it up, you open the door to the enemy again. If you want peace and stability and freedom and all of these things in your life, then you've got to get serious about closing the doors to him. When he comes to gnaw at your ear, he's trying to get you to open the door so that you allow him to come rushing in because you've given him legal access. Good friend of ours, Joanna Adams, wrote a book. It's called Can a Christian Have a Demon? I encourage you to find that book. Joanna Adams, Can a Christian Have a Demon? Maybe I'll put that in my link in my BIO for a bit, but I'm telling you that is a book you need to read because if you open a door, absolutely. If you give him legal access to your life, absolutely. You can't say I'm going to follow Jesus over here and then over here. I mean, you can't you can't just be all about Jesus on Sunday and the other six days you're living like hell. That's not how life works. Amen. Well, uh, Father, we just pray right now that you would bring understanding to Tim about this situation, Lord. And Father, what is so what is going on here? Father, we just lift his son up to you right now. Lord, that you would just be in the midst of all of this now, that you would bring comfort to Tim, Lord, and understanding. And that Father, you would just, you would hold his hand as he walks through this, Lord, even with his son right now. But we lift his son up to you right now, Father, and we say, Lord, will you also come in love on him? Father, will you walk with him? Will you talk with him, God? And I pray, Lord, just have your will and your way in his life right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. We'll continue to pray for him, Tim. Keep us posted on that, okay? So let's look at some key points this morning. I mean, because if we if if we want breakthrough, and this is probably one of the realest things I'm going to tell you today, if we want breakthrough, we have got to get to a place where we're being honest. Stop saying, well, I'm not struggling with and I'm okay and I'm not. No, you're not. All right. Your life is a mess, and and and the enemy is just wreaking havoc on you. Let's find the open doors and let's get the doors shut and let's keep it. Let's let's barricade this thing for for, I mean, for for the rest of your life. Let's barricade this thing. Uh, but you got to get honest, you've got to get real. If you want freedom, then you you have to close what you left open. So let's find out what was left open. All right, not every battle means that you're under uh an unusual attack. Some people, okay, think that because there is warfare going on, that automatically that you're you're that means that you're doing everything right. Trying to get the right perspective on this. All right, a lot of people, well, you know, another level, another devil. All right, we hear that a lot. All right, another level, another devil. Now, yes, the enemy, if if you are walking in the ways of the Lord, he is going to come at you full force. I can go ahead and tell you that. But not necessarily is that the only way, is what I'm trying to tell you this morning. Sometimes the issue is not the devil is attacking. Uh, I mean, I got everything buttoned up, and here he is still coming against me, because when you step out and start doing the things of the Lord, he's going to try to gnaw at your ear. He's going to try to bring confusion and things through other people. I mean, he's going to use whatever tactics he can to come at you. But I want you to know that sometimes the issue is that the door is cracked open from the inside. Stick with me. Ephesians 4, 26 and 27. Ephesians 4, 26 and 27. Be angry, but sin not. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Do not give place to the devil. Keep that in mind. Do not give place. Give place. It means it means do not give room. Do not give him a foothold. Do not give him an opportunity. Do not give him any place. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath. And this right here, too, is you can be angry. That's okay. But sin not. What is sin not? Sin not could be knocking somebody out. Sin not could be spatting off all the things that you should not be spatting off in a moment of heated anger. There's a lot of things that come along with the sin. It's okay to be angry, but it's what you do in the midst of being angry. All right, and then don't let the sun go down on your wrath, which means don't let that prolong. You need to make sure you for you need to forgive or you need to forgive, and you need to ask for forgiveness when you need to ask for forgiveness, and you need to move forward. The end. That's it. And do not give place to the devil. The enemy cannot create authority in your life, but he will look for access. That's Ephesians chapter 4, 26 and 27. Won't you be glad when the blog is here and you can just go back and look at all of what we're talking about? Do not give the devil access. Oh, that's good, Paul. Don't give the devil access to your guest route. Well, you invite him in and you continue to dwell upon those things that make you angry and make you mad and all those things. You're just you're just giving, letting people and the enemy live rent-free in your thoughts and your mind. But we can give place to the enemy. That's why we have to take a good hard look at our lives. Where have you given place to the enemy in your life? All right. Sin and compromise open the doors. Yes. All right. This is one of the most obvious ones. All right. This is the part where people this is the part that a lot of people don't want to hear. There are people they want prayer, they want deliverance, they want breakthrough, they want somebody to cast this thing out of me right now. But the issue here is that they do not want to confront what they continue to entertain. You want to get set free, healed, delivered. That's great. Fantastic. But what you do once you have gotten set free, delivered, healed, and the enemy has been out. We've cast that thing out. You have been now there's freedom in your life. What happens is you're going to leave that meeting or leave that moment, and then you're going to go out there and you're going to start entertaining the things that you have been entertaining, flinging the door wide open. And my Bible tells me that once he's left, if you allow him back in, it's going to come back in seven times worse than it was before. Seven times. But if we take a look at James 1, 14 and 15, but each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. When it is full grown, it brings forth because the wages of sin is unalivingness. Sin is not some harmless little thing that we talk about. Oh, sin. You know, we got our little sins. I got my little little. Well, you're keeping that thing around like it's a pet. You need to kick that thing to the curb. Sin is not harmless, okay? Compromise is not some little small thing. Well, it's just this little, you know, I just have to, you know, in order to keep my job, or in order to keep those friendships, or in order to keep that influence, I have to. No, you feel like compromise. Compromise is huge. Sin is a huge deal. A lot of people have, you think you got some hidden agreements in the dark where nobody can see. My God is omnipresent and he sees all things. And it grieves his heart when you come into agreement with the enemy, no matter what compromise, no matter what sin, no matter what hidden agreements you have made, it grieves his heart to see you living the way that you're living because there's a much better way if you let go of all the mess. It's time to let go of all the mess. What you tolerate can become what torments you. If you write down anything today, write that down. What you tolerate can become what will torment you. The compromise, the sin, the little things that you think are little. Oh, it's just, I mean, I know I'm I'm a little bitter over it. It's just a little bit of bitterness, though. It's just a little bit. Or, or, you know, I'm looking up, you know, I don't look up corn all the time. Just every now and again. Everybody's looking at that. All that justification, all that, all that perversion, all those things, all that sin. No, that's not a good thing. You're trying to justify what you're doing to make yourself feel better. And that ain't that that it might make you feel better for a second. It's just, it's just being a little bit flirty. You um you got a ring around your finger and you think ain't nobody around, ain't nobody looking. I'm just being just a little bit, you know, I'm just, I'm just friendly. Better watch yourself. I mean, it was just a tiny lie. I mean, just to kind of get us over the hump here, you know, they don't need to know the whole thing. That is compromise, friends. That is compromise. I'm giving you hard examples of what this looks like. How do you continue to allow the enemy back in your life? This is it. Oh, it's just a little bit of compromise. Oh, I'm just, you know, I don't, I don't dabble in that much. Whatever it is. I don't, I don't dabble in it. It's just a little bit, you know? You know, it's just a little bit of rebellion to make sure that I keep up, you know, certain walls and certain things. I want you to know all these things that you feel like are small doors, those are big problems. The things you think are just little tiny little those are huge things. If you're just jumping in with us, this is real talk, real Jesus, real life. Jerry, what you put in the eye gate, you're watching TV. Could be a show, could be a movie, it could be whatever. What you're putting in here and what you're listening through here matters more than you think. Be careful and guard what you see and what you hear for goodness' sake. We've got to be so much better about that. Because it can open doors. If you have anything that makes you think a wrong way or or or give a wrong thought, be careful. You could have an open door. Become big problems if you do not deal with them. And that's the thing. A little bit of compromise, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, if you do not deal with it, that's when it increasingly takes over your life until it consumes you. What do you think the enemy comes to do? He comes to unalive, steal, and destroy. That's it. That's the three, that's his category. He comes to do those things. And you got to remember the enemy is powerless, but if he can get to this and make you do some things, then you open the door and you give him legal access to your life to come in and wreak havoc. You are the ones that has allowed this to happen. If I do it, I'm the one that's allowed it to happen. All right. This goes for all of us in this room this morning. We've got to check ourselves. Okay? What you see and what you hear opens the door to what you think on, Apostle says. That's absolutely right. 100%. Sherry said it's easy to hide things, and boy, we make all kinds of excuses to continue. Just excuses. Well, it's just a little this. Well, it's just a little of that. And trash man, you're right, right there. It's a slope. When you give yourself away, where black and white turns to gray, it all kind of smooshes together. Wayne, that that's one of my famous sayings. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. And that's just the truth of where we are this morning, y'all. And out of all of those things, unforgiveness is one of the biggest open doors. Unforgiveness, when you allow hurts and things of your past to continue to linger and linger and linger and linger in your life, you then begin to make decisions and have conversations and see things with these veils of hurt over your eyes until you get in there and you begin to ask for forgiveness. And you begin to forgive those that you need to forgive. God love. Oh, that's it, Sherry. Oh, God loves me. He understands. Nah, yeah, he understands. He understands. And he wrote this out for you. So, whatever you're doing, if it doesn't filter through this, it's something you need to lay down and burn up on the altar. And then get yourself on the altar until everything is burned away. Amen. Moments in my life where I've had to get up on the altar and Lord, just burn it all away because I want to be one that goes forward in freedom with you today. But there's a lot of people who feel spiritually heavy, like very, like just very, just heavy, heavy, heavy. And you don't even realize that you're carrying these open offenses and this unforgiveness. And that is why everything feels heavy and why you feel like nobody cares and nobody loves me and nobody wants to help me. And no, because you have always just been beat down by people, you are seeing other people wrongly in your life now. 2 Corinthians 2, 10 through 11, Paul says, forgive, lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. Forgive, lest Satan should take advantage of you. Paul is trying to warn you, you better forgive and you better ask for forgiveness, or Satan's going to come in and he's going to wreak havoc in your life. We should not be ignorant to his devices and his tricks and what he is up to. Educate yourself in the word and then let it run down to your feet and walk out forgiveness in your life. It's plain, it is straightforward the way that Paul told us that right there. Unforgiveness can become an advantage point for the enemy. You're giving him legal access, you're inviting him in. Hebrews 12 and 15. All right, looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up causes trouble. Bitterness springs up, causes trouble. Hello? A lot of people are asking God, I need your peace, I need your peace, I need your peace. Lord, where's your peace? Lord, where are you? Where's your and you're still holding on to offenses? It's like holding on to electric offenses. If you start holding on to an electric fence and somebody plugs it in, I mean, you you just feel stuck. You need to pry yourself loose with this word, and you need to get before the Lord and you need to say, Lord, forgive, I forgive, I'm having a heart. If you got to lament like Job before God, that's okay. He wants to hear you. He wants you to finally get to a breaking point, finally get to a point where you're like, I don't, I can't, I can't, I can't forgive them, Lord. I need your help. I need your strength. I need you to come and help me forgive them this morning or this afternoon or this evening or wherever it is. But I need you to come and help me forgive. I forgive them through your forgiveness, Lord. Lord, pluck this out of my heart, God. Close the doors to the enemy, and then help me sweep out my life. Oh, Lord, so that my house will be clean again. This temple will be clean again for you so I can arise and shine. There's a lot of people who are replaying what that person said to you, and you're you're rehearsing what was done, and you're going through all the motions of the hurt and the pain, and you're just and you're justifying staying bitter over it because of what they did, and justice needs to come to them, and you're carrying resentment, and you're almost using it like a shield. Unforgiveness is not your protection. Unforgiveness is poison to you. And the enemy's coming to unalive, steal, and destroy everything in your life. If you want a change in your life, go back and look and see if you have any unforgiveness. Because unforgiveness does not uh just affect your emotions, by the way. Unforgiveness, it creates spiritual vulnerability to you, and and now you're a man that's unstable. So if you want these doors closed, you need to ask the Holy Spirit today, who who have I not forgiven? Think back to those things you replay in your mind over and over and over again when nobody's watching. The things you do when nobody is looking matter more than anything else in your whole life. If you're one that's doing this, that, and the other, that matters a whole lot. If you're one that walks with the Lord, talks with the Lord in your secret place every day, that matters a whole lot. Whatever you're doing when nobody is watching matters a whole lot. Whether it's this way or it's that way. If you have rebellion and stubbornness, that also gives room to the enemy. Sin and bitterness is an infection that spreads. Oh, absolutely, Paul. Jesus is the medicine that heals, and he is the only salve that you can put on that thing to rid and purge out that entire infection and heal all of that over. Jesus is the only he is he is the only anecdote to that. Everything goes back to Jesus. Rebellion and stubbornness, though. There's people, there's people that know exactly what God has been dealing with them about. The Lord's already been dealing with you about this and that and the other and those things going on on the inside, those situations. I mean, he's spoken to you, he's brought conviction to you, he's already put his finger on the issue. This right here, Josh, this right here. This is what needs to be dealt with. But instead of surrendering, you get stubborn, you get defensive, you begin to justify yourself and your actions. When the Lord pokes his finger on that and you're like, oh, this, that, or the other. Or you know what, I'll you know what, I'll I'll deal with it. I'll deal one, I'll deal with it. I'm all right. I'm good. I'm gonna push that down. Yeah, until it springs back up again and continues to knock you out every time it springs back up and every time you start pushing it back down. You cannot keep resisting God and expect to stay spiritually protected. You cannot, you cannot resist the things that he is pointing out to you and expect his hand to always be there to save you from everything. You're the one that allows him to not come in. You want to give God full legal access to your life. You want to invite Jesus in to give him full access to your life. And that comes by fully surrendering. If you fully surrender, you get full access. If you only surrender a little bit, well, you've only you've only given Jesus enough access to do a little bit. We can block our blessings. We can block certain things in our life from the Lord just because of the things we want to hang on to and the things we want to continue to do. We are the holdup. Do you want to just real talk this morning? You're the holdup. I'm the holdup. If there's a holdup, we're the holdup. It's like we are the logs in the river holding things up. Because by golly, we're gonna hang on to what we got. Well, what you got is a mess. It's time to turn that over to Jesus. Protection from the Lord and alignment. They do this, they go hand in hand. You want protection from the Lord? You better line up with the word and line up with his ways. If you want peace, peace and obedience. Peace, obedience. You're obedient, you're always in the peace of the Lord. Everything is peaceful. Stubbornness always costs more than what people actually think. Let all that pride go today in the mighty name of Jesus. There's somebody that needs to say that. Let that pride go in the mighty name of Jesus. Let those walls crumble today and allow the Lord to come flooding in and put his finger. Josh, today you need to deal with this. Tomorrow I might need to deal with this, but today you need to deal with this in your heart. It's almost like if you've eaten a lot of greasy food, lots and lots of greasy food, your arteries start getting a little troubled. Sometimes people are like, ah, I need some help. They got to go put a stint in there to open things up again and clean you out. Well, spiritually speaking, God is the same way. You've allowed the grease of life to start clogging up some arteries. And now you're wondering why you're feeling so bad and why you, oh, it's hard to catch my breath, and something is going on. You need to allow the Lord to come in, put a stint in, clean some things out, and get this house back in order again so everything's flowing the way it needs to flow. If things ain't flowing in your life the way that things need to be flowing, then that means that you have put a log in the way somewhere and you're holding some things up. Take a look at your life. Rebellion and stubbornness. You have allowed the enemy in. And hidden sin does not stay hidden in the effects of it. You're known by your fruit. But if you stay in something else long enough, there's going to be some evidence there that something ain't quite right there. Something's not going. I mean, you think that because nobody else can see it, oh, it's contained and I can do what I want to do, how I want to do it. But sin never stays teensy weency. It might start with a thought and then it might start with a little action, but sin grows over time. It's like a cancer cell. Over time, it gets bigger and bigger the more you continue to feed it. And then you're going to see effects in your peace. You're going to see, you're going to see uh things start showing up in your confidence. You're not as confident. You can't look people in the eye. You ever have a conversation with somebody? What I do when I first start talking to somebody is I give a firm handshake and I'm looking them in the eyes. If somebody can't look you in the eyes when they're talking to you, something is amiss. Something is hidden there. It's not even anything connected with you. If you too have an issue looking people in the eye, why? Take a look at why. Holding on to unforgiveness will make you physically sick, Larry. Yes, it will. Honestly. It will, it will, it will eat you up on the inside. 100%. But your hidden your hidden sin starts showing up in certain things. It's hard to press through in worship. It's you can't stand up and be bold and have the authority that you need to have in such in situations, in your household, with your children, it may be in the workplace if you're a manager or whatever it is. You're having you have issues with your authority everywhere because now you've lost your authority in the Lord. It's hard to have real right authority in your life if you're allowing things in that should not be coming in. It begins to then show up in your marriage. In your family life, your thought life, the things you think about. You've allowed corruption to come in, and now the enemy is just wreaking havoc. The enemy loves hidden compromise. And he loves it so much because people they keep asking for this public breakthrough. But when they go home and things are private and there's disobedience there. You're not fully walking things out to the Lord. My gosh, if it's that bad, have somebody you can reach out and call, be like, I'm struggling, bro. Or I'm struggling, sister. You ladies find a lady to help you. Men find a man. Men need men. I'm talking from a man's perspective right now. We need each other. We say we don't, because by golly, we're fixers and we're gonna fix it. You're over here all by yourself trying to fix what you need to fix. Find you one accountability person, somebody you can trust, somebody that will pray with you, and they'll be available if you need them. It goes a long way to help walk you through things. Especially if you live by yourself. If you're not married, you know what I mean? If you're home by yourself a lot. Find your accountability person. Because what is hidden from people, I want to remind you of this again. What is hidden from people, nobody knows. It's over here, is not hidden from God. The thing that matters the most, your relationship with Jesus Christ. It's not hidden from there. You have a lot of people fooled, but more importantly, you don't have him fooled. He sees everything, he is omnipresent, he is always there. Yeah, during those times. He is always there. Hello? And eventually it's going to show up in some rotten fruit. You're going to be eating the rotten fruit. So, I mean, if if somebody's life, if your life just continues to feel heavy and feel discouraged, and you're just rolling around in your in your filth and your junk, and you're just trying to figure out how to get up out of this mess, you have to begin to get honest and you have to ask yourself honest questions. Am I protecting something in the dark that God has been calling me to expose and repent of? What is that? Because what you begin to shed light on, and then you begin to repent of, the enemy has no foothold at this point. It's out, it's done, repentance has come forth, and now you're moving forward in a better life. Keep that door barricaded and keep it buttoned up. Have the right accountability in place and watch yourself live a free life. Hello? I know I'm throwing some heavy things this morning. Sometimes it gets really heavy here on the morning charge. But if we don't talk about these things, you're going to continue to live your life the way you've been living it. Who wants to do that? Who wants to continue to live like that? Earlier I mentioned wrong agreements. Let's look at some examples of that because not every open door looks obviously like sin at first. Sometimes it's in a in even in a slight agreement. Maybe you had an agreement with fear. Woo, I'm not touching that. We're not doing that. That would never happen. And you begin to make, you get begin to make assumptions and then you begin to make decisions out of fear. God might be calling you to do something, and now you're making agreements with fear. Or you have an agreement with rejection, and you're allowing to just eat you up alive on the inside. Maybe you have an agreement with lust or with shame, with the lie that, oh, this is just who I am, this is just who I am. You know, it goes generations back. You know, our bloodline just had that type of DNA, so I guess, you know, I just that's just who we are. That is a lie from hell, and you need to stand up and arise and say, no, no, no. It stops with me because the future generations are not going to go through this mess. If you look back all your generations, yeah, I got a new DNA. That's what Brandy said. We got DNA from heaven. There's a lot of people who live in poverty, and that poverty mindset goes generations back. Well, my daddy was poor, and my granddaddy was poor, and my great-granddaddy, and my great-great-great-granddaddy, and all the way back, and they all of them love Jesus, but they're all poor. Well, uh-oh, you better stop. No, you need to say, I repent for I I repent right now for coming into agreement with that poverty mindset, and I shake all of that off right now in the name of Jesus, and I say, Lord, let it stop with J this J. We are going to be kingdom wealth builders, and I'm going to stand upon your word, God, and this shall carry on to future generations because the book stops with me. Somebody's got to do it. Why not let it be you? Amen. Yeah, Brandy says when I go to the doctors, or if I go, they say, What's in your bloodline? I'm like, I got a new bloodline. Well, what all kinds of things did your family? I I don't even feel that part out. I'm like, you're gonna check me over. If there's an issue with me, we're gonna pray about it, and God's gonna bring healing because I ain't claiming any of it. And I'm gonna walk forth in healing. My Bible says that by his stripes I was healed. It didn't say I might be healed if the Lord wills. Well, it just ain't mine. You you you you've given up. You you you you you're walking in something, and some people be like, oh Josh, you just don't understand. Oh no, I understand healing very well. I walked out healing from a from a from a hole. I had a heart murmur, I had a hole in my heart when I was born. It was a medium-sized hole. They teeter-tottered on surgery, but somebody came along in agreement and prayer and said, Lord, come and heal this heart. Didn't even know what was going on with me. From that moment forward, it continued to close and close and close, and they watched and they closed, and they said, We ain't touching it, it's closing. 21 years of my life until it completely closed. And my cardiologist was like, Well, it's gone. So, I mean, unless you have issues, I don't even want to see you back in my office, is what he taught. That's what he told me. Unless you're having some sort of complications, I don't want to see you again. Miraculous thing. But I could have got bitter along the way. I could have got really, really bitter along the way. There's lots of complications. You might don't let him play sports because of this, that, and the other. Well, guess what? I migrated towards music. And I'm very thankful I did. Learning the guitar, learning the piano, singing songs unto the Lord. Couldn't do this. Well, God, but you know what? God used it, and he moved me in a different place. And I'm thankful he did. Don't give up. Allow God to use what you feel like is is is is is hopeless. Let your hope arise again today. And know that he is real and he wants to bring healing to you. Don't you give up. My Bible says by his stripes, I am healed. You may not see it at the moment, but you say it every day and you stand upon the word and you walk as if your healing is taking place and watch things begin to shift in your life. Stop stop coming into agreement with that victim mentality on all that hopelessness. If you keep agreeing with lies in your life, you keep strengthening what God is trying to break off of you. I'm gonna say that again. If you continue to agree with lies that go against the word of God, because this is for everybody. He's no respecter of persons. If there's promises in this book, this promise was for you. This promise was for me. But if you keep agreeing with the lies of man and the lies of the enemy, you are going to keep strengthening what God is trying to break off of you, what God is trying to heal you of, what God is trying to do in your life. Stop agreeing with the lies. You close doors to the enemy when you stop agreeing with what God never said. If God didn't say it, why are you coming into agreement with it? If he didn't say it or he ain't said it, why are you coming into agreement with it? Yes, we need to repent, but there are many that need to renounce the lies that you have been living under. You've allowed lack in your life because your folks always had lack. Break that off. Renounce that, I renounce right now every word of lack that I have spoken over me and my family, that we would never have enough, that that I wasn't enough, that I wasn't good enough to do this, that, or the other. Lord, I I totally eradicate that and I pray crop failure over any of those seeds that I have planted. And now, Father, I want to I want you to help me till all that under, and I want you to help me refertilize this thing and regenerate the soil. And Father, Lord, I want to take the seeds you have placed in my hands and I want to drop those in the ground. And Father, you bring the sun and the rain on a good crop and a good harvest for my family. Today's a new day. We're gonna stand up and do something different today. Come on, somebody. You need to stand up and you need to stir yourself up today because some things need to start shifting and changing. And until you stand up and do something about it, it will remain the same. Stand up and take your rightful place. I got ahead of myself. Praise God. Some things I don't have to talk about because I got it. Oh, Jesus. Can we just get a new mindset? Put on the mind of Christ. Cast down the thoughts and then put on the mind of Christ. That's what my word tells me to do. One of the final things I want you to remember before I end this today, because we can only do so much on the charge. That's why we got the Branjoe Circle coming up. So we can take these conversations and stretch them out and then really start applying them to life and stay connected in a more real way. That's my whole heart behind that. But I want you to know this this morning. You cannot ask God to close what you want to continue to kick open. If you close the door to the enemy, keep it shut. That's why I say barricade the thing. Some people come up to the altar over and over and over for freedom in the same areas, but you'll go to the altar on Sunday and lay it down and you'll leave, and then you keep going back and opening that door again. You're going to go back to those same old relationships with those people doing those same old things. You are number six of the five people you hang out with. That is a statistic that has been proven over and over again. I want you to assess the five folks you hang out with, the ones you associate with. You are the sixth. But you keep getting on that altar and going back to the same old mess of relationships. You keep going back to the same old compromises. You keep going back to the same old websites. Just being real in here today, y'all. We keep going back to the same old conversations over and over again, the same old habits and attitudes and disobedience. But then here's Sunday, you and then and then and then the whole week is just heck again. And then here you find yourself up here Sunday, Lord, and you're laying down all the byproducts of everything. All the pain and the aches, and the Lord, take it all, take it all. And he's like, Oh, you want me to take it all? Because that's why you keep wanting me to take everything. There's people saying, Why, why does this battle keep coming back? Why do I keep struggling with this? Why do I keep because deliverance is not some magical thing that takes place. Your freedom has to be guarded. Deliverance comes to you in a radical way, but you have to guard your freedom. That's why this thing keeps coming back and coming back and coming back and coming back again, because you're not guarding it. Your repentance has to be real unto the Lord, and the door has to stay locked. You go get the key off the hook and unlock that thing, open it wide up. Don't even think twice about it. A door that has been closed must stay closed if you want to walk in the fruit of the Lord in your life. Stop coming into the same agreements and compromises and doing those same old things you've been doing. Keep the door shut. And I mean, closing the doors, I mean, it starts with honest repentance. What do I say in here all the time? Lord, come and search me and know me. See if there be any wicked way in me. See if there be anything in here. Come on, you gotta start quoting the scripture over your life and praying the scripture over your life. Lord, show me, show me where I have opened a door. Show me where I have compromised. Show me where I have agreed with all the lies in my life. Father, you come and show me, Lord, where I've held on to offenses, where I have been, where I've been stubborn in areas where I haven't obeyed you. Lord, come and search me and know me right now. And the Lord comes to convict your heart, not to shame you. Look at what you did. You're icky, you'll never enter the kingdom. Like that, oh, that's lies. That would be lies from the enemy or some false voice that you have allowed to speak into your life. Because my God says, if you will come unto me, you come unto me, I will set you free. He wants to, he wants to reveal and then he wants to heal. That is what God wants to do. But you cannot close doors that you are unwilling to identify. So you need to find time to get into the secret place, and then you need to lay things down as he begins to bring them up, and you need to shut and lock that door. And if you need to go talk to somebody, be like, here's some things I laid down this week. I just want to know if you'll be one that I can give you a phone call if those thoughts start coming back. And then you've got to learn and train yourself to cast those thoughts down and put on the mind of Christ. So, what does it look like to actually close the doors? It looks like repenting quickly. You repent quickly. Stop letting things linger. You forgive fully with his forgiveness, with his strength. If you I mean, you rely upon him to help you through these things. You renounce all the lies, you cut off the compromise, you end the wrong relationships, end them. If they're causing you to stumble face first into sin every day, over and over again, end them, move on. Sometimes you got to do that in life. I know that's a hard thing to say, but you have to let go of relationships that are toxic for you. You've got to remove all the access points to the enemy. You need to bring your life into order. Go get the life order reset guide tomorrow when the website opens. That's it's I'm giving it to you. You want to help get yourself back on track. A lot of the things that we talk on here is a great start. Things to ask yourself. Write some things down, do some things differently. I'm trying to help people. Another way is to obey what God has already said. Obey what He's already said to you. And start filling your life with the truth instead of leaving that empty space right here for the enemy to fill over and over again. You need an infilling of the truth. What do you need to be filling your life with? With prayer. You need to be filling it with the washing. Of the water of the word. You need to be filling it with worship and awe, the fear of the Lord, the coming before him and giving him honor and giving him praise. You need to start filling your life with the truth, with rightful community. Number six, five, remember? Right community. You need to fill it with obedience, with holiness. I mean, you'll never be perfect. Stop trying to be perfect. Stop it. Keep your eyes on Jesus and let him lead you to holiness. And you need to go through and clean up your atmosphere. What do you need to get rid of? What needs to go? What things in your home and in your life remind you of those things of who you used to be and what you used to be. Get rid of all that stuff. Stuff is stuff. Stuff is just stuff. So get rid of it. God wants to give you a new life. Closing doors is not just about casting things out. Even though deliverance is very important and it's very necessary to get you into this point. But but but closing doors is also about changing how you live your life. You gotta take actionable steps to stay that way. So ask yourself a few questions. What battle keeps repeating in your life over and over and over and over again? Take note of these things. Is there any compromise that you have been excusing? Things that you're like, well, that doesn't really matter because it really does matter. Take note of those things. Is there any unforgiveness that I have harbored in my heart towards my brother or my sister? Get rid of that. Ask the Lord to help you, lay it down at the cross, ask for forgiveness for yourself, clean yourself up, move on forward. And is there any known disobedience that I uh maybe there's something I'm delaying that God wants me to do? God wants you to start that business, and you keep wondering why you're broke and have no money. Because you ain't you ain't stepped out and done what God's asked you to do. I mean, not everybody's called to do that. All right? I'm just giving you examples. There's something in your life that you haven't done that could that could bring you fruit for generations. Step out. Find out the doors that need to be closed. Lord, come and search me and know me. Is there anything in me that that made room for this? What's in here? Search yourself today. So, Father, we pray that. Come and search us. Come and know us. Come and see if there be any wicked way in me. Lord, we give you permission this morning to come and cleanse this house, cleanse this temple, and then just say, Lord, I repent for whatever it is you need to repent for. I need to repent for boom, boom, boom. Say it out loud if you can. Throw it out there. And say, Lord, I need to forgive. Name those people. Name those situations and those things and release them. I need Lord, I need to, I need to forgive with your forgiveness because this hurts so much. Because I just, I haven't been able to let this go. And then you forgive them and you release them and then say, now, Lord, forgive me for harboring this. And Lord, forgive me for anything that I may have done in the midst of that situation. Lord, takes two to tango and start listing out situations and listing out people and talking about the hard things for the Lord and say, Lord, give me the grace to be honest right now. Lord, Lord, give me the humility to be able to repent. Give me the courage, Lord, to cut things off. And give me the wisdom to shut the doors fully and to not reopen them in the mighty name of Jesus, Lord. Teach me to live in a way that does not, that does not keep giving place to the enemy. I am done. I am through. Today is the day of freedom in my life. And I give you permission to move right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. You got to get real before God. That's the way that things are going to begin to change for you. That's today's morning charge. Before you move on with your day, take a moment and let what you've heard settle into your heart. Faith isn't just something we talk about, it's something we live out in the ordinary moments of everyday life. Wherever today takes you, remember this. You don't walk into it alone. God is already ahead of you, working in ways you may not even see yet. Stand firm, walk in wisdom, lead with love, and don't forget who you belong to. Until next time, keep your heart anchored, keep your faith strong, and keep living out real talk, real Jesus, real life. We'll see you on the next morning charge.
