Closing Thought:

Even when life feels a little unhinged, there’s still purpose in showing up faithfully right where you are.

SPEAKER_00

Hello, welcome back to 27 Good. What's up? I feel like, gosh, I feel like it's been a a week, but not in a bad way. I feel like if your car is a mess, your house is a mess, then like your mind is just a bit of a mess. And that's where I feel like I am right now. It's like there's laundry I need to do, my room feels like a mess. My car needs cleaned out.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I think just everywhere for the next 10 years, your car's always gonna be cleaned out.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like I'd keep it, yeah. Yeah, yeah, just always.

SPEAKER_01

I felt like that because I the last I think three afternoons, evenings, I've been working in my flower beds. Yeah. And something has to give if you're spending time in your flower beds and it's the house. And I did this morning look around, like, oh my gosh, okay, there's lots and laundry piled up. So I got after it this afternoon, but then I didn't do my flower bed. So you can't do it all.

SPEAKER_00

Something, yeah. Well, and that's how we've been outside the past few nights. And it's the same thing. It's like the kids can't be outside by themselves because of the pond, really, is the only reason. But then yeah, it's like well, I'm not doing any of the normal stuff in the house. So and I have to work tomorrow, which sounds so whiny. I love how four days in a four days. So I work I work four days, but I usually have Thursdays off. And so to work four days in a row, I have in my mind that that feels daunting this week.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like you keep saying it. Like earlier today, you were like, I have to work Thursday. Well, I have to work tomorrow, so I can't do anything.

SPEAKER_00

I have to work, so you're like, maybe we just go shopping then.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, I can't have to work. I actually don't think I said go shopping Thursday. I just was like, you could go shopping, and you were like, I can't on Thursday, I have to work. I'm like, okay, then do it Friday or Saturday.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. Can't have to work. I love it. Yeah, we're coming off of Austin's birthday party, had that this weekend, so it was fine. I made a homemade cake that did not turn out. I thought it looked adorable.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it that I think I remember it just didn't turn out because you were compared to this gorgeous. Sarah. Pie in the store-bought cake.

SPEAKER_00

Sarah shows up, she was like, I'll get a cake for Clay because we did a so Sarah's my sister, Clay's my nephew, and my other niece, Amelia. All of their birthdays are within like three weeks. So we just did a joint birthday party. And Sarah was like, I'll bring a cake for Clay. I was like, sounds great. And I just have always made their cakes. I think it's so fun. I do too. I tried to do some store-bought, but it is fun to make. I still have your tractor mold that I'm gonna bust out at one point.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just gonna come help you though, because it was such a fail-off.

SPEAKER_00

I know. I couldn't get it. It's one of those cake molds for a tractor shape, but when I did it, it just was like all stuck somehow. I don't know what I did. Yeah, didn't grease her. Guess not. But Austin loves a Paw Patrol cake, so I made that, and Sarah shows up with this beautiful cake she bought. Is it a shark? Yeah. He loved an ocean theme, so. Anyways, that was fun. I can't believe what you guys did too. I know. It's wild. He's really thrown me. I don't know what to do with him. I don't know how to discipline him. I feel like he just I don't know. He doesn't give a f. Yeah, he doesn't. And he just like, I feel like we had a tantrum this morning because he couldn't go outside. It's like he doesn't want me to put clothes on him and then it's a tan. I don't know. It's just all these things coming at me that I feel like I did not have with the other two. You probably did. You just forgot it. Probably not Samantha.

SPEAKER_01

We No, that's not the angel. We block things out. It's survival.

SPEAKER_00

Because you wouldn't have any more kids if you remembered up. No. So then the other update for me is I filled out my counseling forms today. I'm gonna go to She's gonna go get fixed up. I'm gonna go get fixed up. The Ashland, Ashland Theological Seminary offers free counseling, so that's what I'm gonna try with a student. And it was so annoying. I'm just like negative on all things. They send me these PDFs that I cannot you can't fill in online. Oh, I know. I don't have a printer. So I like asked Claude AI to turn it into. Yeah, but I'm I don't know how to hook up to it. Seriously, I don't. It's like a whole thing. So I got it to fill out. But one of the questions was, do you have any memory problems? I was like, yeah. Don't think so. I can't remember anything.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you said though that you can't remember a lot of your childhood. Wow. You're gonna uncover some weird traumatic things.

SPEAKER_00

Storage thing? Like there's only so much.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. Sometimes, you know, when you remember something that you're like, where was that? I know. Ours was okay, so we're in the middle of state testing. And this week our kids took the ELA test. ELA is what? English? English language arts, yeah. English. So they read passages, answer questions, and then our seventh graders have to write an essay both days. So they write an essay at the end of the first day, which was yesterday, and then today was the second day. Do they handwrite it? Like what's the first time? No, it's all online. Tap it. Yeah, probably when you took it, it was probably pencil. Yeah. My students, one of my students was like, when you were in school, did you have to take this paper uh paper pencil? I was like, when I was a child, is what I said. And I was like, when I first started teaching, they were paper pencil. Like, how how young do you think I am? I didn't take, I wanted to say I didn't take this version of the state test. We certainly took standardized testing when we were kids, but so what what I was referring to of where things file in your brain was they've been called different things. So I've been teaching, this is like 19 or year 19 or 20 for me. And one of my coworkers and I were like, what were all the different tests we've done? And they just were in there. Like, why? And at first I was like, I don't remember, wasn't there one called? And then it would just come fine. Why did I have that stored away? Trauma.

SPEAKER_00

I can't even remember my scores for like ACT. That's really good. Yeah, I do. And like your GPA in school.

SPEAKER_01

Brian and I just had a discussion about it actually, because well, it's story for another day, but we just actually discussed like well, no, do you remember GPA? I had wrong because my dad had this file. He had he kept files on all of us. He had kept files and everything. And when we cleaned out his apartment, we went through his files and I had there was a patty file. And I was truly mistaken of what kind of a student I was in high school. I thought I was good. I mean, I'm a teacher because I loved school. No, I was a bad, I had bad grades. I had all my comments were like capable of doing better. Oh my god. Failed to finish a major project, doesn't prepare for tests and clues. I'm not I just lived my best life. Like, I don't care about this. I'm not doing it. Like, I don't care if there's a project due. I'm not feeling it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh funny.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, I really thought it was an A-B student, and it's it was false. It's a false narrative I had in my head.

unknown

That's so funny.

SPEAKER_01

But like knowing kind of how I spent my days in high school, I'm not surprised that I got not the greatest of grades, but look, it doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_00

Can't be stressed about grades. Right, right. Seriously.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, so we're in the state testing, and I will say, and the students don't realize this, it's just as stressful for us teachers. I mean, it's so much work for them. So and there's nothing we can do about it. I mean, it's a state thing. We're public education, that's what's what we do. I wish there wasn't as much emphasis on it. There's for sure more emphasis at the elementary school than we do as middle school teachers, from what I know for my kids going through, my own kids. But I mean, Sam, he's in sixth grade, he's in my building, and he lost sleep almost over it this week. He was so stressed. He and then when he came home today, he was in tears. He was just like overly exhausted, and he'll do well. So he's not even one that should be worried, but the pressure they put on themselves, I don't know. It's just really unfortunate. And I I know that our school systems have to have some way of knowing where schools are, holding schools accountable in a way, right? It's just too bad, I think. That it really is a lot on our kids. So they took these two tests this week, and then we've got a week break for seventh grade, and then they have my math test in two weeks from yesterday and today is their math test. And I bowed to myself today because we're starting to review a lot. We've already have been, but we're really like hitting it hard. Then I'm not gonna mention it anymore. In my mind, I want to say, like, the test is in two weeks, get a focus. But I'm not saying that.

SPEAKER_00

Down on your whiteboard.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Why are you picking up your pencil? Do something, you're gonna fail this test. But it's so silly. But I think that there's pressure on kids and on us. So they first take the state test in third grade. They seem so young and so just like worried, and they come home. Charlie's such a buy the book, both my boys really. Like they say we're supposed to have a good breakfast and we're supposed to get a good night's sleep. And so I start I would make them eggs. It's not bad, it doesn't take long to make eggs. No, it's so fast. But now I told Amy, like, now we're in middle school, and they're still like don't forget. Don't forget, you promised us eggs on state testing days. So, yeah, I had to go to the dollar store actually yesterday to get more eggs because they can really tap some eggs. Gosh, they are so good for them.

SPEAKER_00

I cannot eat like eggs plain.

SPEAKER_01

It's gotta be with meat or like okay. I had mine today, so since I made yesterday, I did one eye jacks.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what that is. Is that where you cut the hole in the bread?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we cut the hole in the bread.

SPEAKER_00

Wow, fancy mom for the well it's so easy. Gotta go out first a test. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's easier than almost scratching.

SPEAKER_00

No, you just okay. So you cut the hole out of the bread, put the bread in the pan, and then put the egg on.

SPEAKER_01

Put the egg, you put the egg, and when the egg goes into the hole, the yolk like falls in there. And then you just flip it and then the yolk stays soft so they can kind of dip. Then we cut around the bread and then they can dip into the yolk.

SPEAKER_00

That's so fun.

SPEAKER_01

But then today, I think it was Sam that said, instead of one eye jacks, can we just do scrambled eggs? And I was like, sure. And Sam always has hot sauce on his eggs. I did a little bit of salsa, is what I did on mine. Because then it was like, well, if we're making scrambled eggs, that's what I'll eat too. Charlie just says, I do add cheese to the scrambled eggs, but and then toast. They had toast. But actually, and I will say, because I had eggs too, and the banana, I was like, this was a great breakfast. Yeah, yeah, I bet. Why don't you just do it? I know. Because otherwise we have like toasts, char Sam likes an apple cut up with peanut butter. I have a protein bar, but really, if I just made scrambled eggs every morning.

SPEAKER_00

I know.

SPEAKER_01

That's something that hurt.

SPEAKER_00

It was so quick. We do those protein pancake bowls a lot lately. I feel like that's always what the boys want. Well, they always want pancakes, but I'm not doing that. But the pancake bowls are so fast.

SPEAKER_01

I do think I could make a bunch of pancakes like on a Sunday. Yeah, and then have them stacked in the fridge.

SPEAKER_00

Somehow for me though, it's easy. I will say, I don't have time to do pancakes, but I have time to do French toast, and they're like the same thing, I think.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I mean? Right. But that's because don't you think pancakes take a little bit more of your awareness? Yeah, probably. Like French toast is so easy to throw on the pan and you can't mess it up.

SPEAKER_00

So this week Patty went to church with me on and the kids. Jason couldn't go. Jason and I kind of started going to this church last summer. And we kind of just bebop between our old church that was the church we met at, and then the Southern Church was Sir Naz. And three weeks ago, maybe is the first time we sent Samantha back for the kids' stuff, which she loved. And then Austin is finally two, so he and Andrew can be in the same class, which is what I was kind of waiting on. Austin turned two on Saturday.

SPEAKER_01

And we walked into this church, and Amy was like, he's done out. He can go in this class.

SPEAKER_00

You're going back, Austin. Mom needs a little time off during the service. To actually listen, it was so freeing. So Patty and I dropped the kids off. We had to register Austin. We got the last cup of coffee at the You did. The coffee thing. Well, I said for two. I'm just kidding. The lady was like, Thank God she didn't want any. There's only one cup left. Then though, before we went into the service, we looked at each other and we were like, should we just go to brunch though?

SPEAKER_01

We got free trap care. Should we just be leaving?

SPEAKER_00

But we did not. We did not. So what'd you think? We have to talk about the noise complaint.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I will say it is so loud in there. Listen, I still have a clogged beer off and on from my sinus infection from a month and a half ago. I don't know what to do about it. Some days it's clogged, some days it's not. It doesn't hurt anymore. Are you using the wax candle? I did it only that one time. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I've decided it's not gonna become unclogged until summer, and I'm not stressed from school. Like it's finally gonna clear up. But that was a day that I feel like is a little bit clogged and we went into the hurt.

SPEAKER_00

Jason called Jason calls it the rock club.

SPEAKER_01

It's so loud. I feel like an old lady for complaining about how loud it is, but it was really loud.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know why. Maybe I have hard hearing. I just don't even think it's loud at all.

SPEAKER_01

I was shocked at how loud it was.

SPEAKER_00

I was You even said something to me.

SPEAKER_01

I think I probably just was like, I can't, I'm gonna lose. Like, I really think if I went again, I would bring your earplugs. So loud. Then I get home and on Facebook. I the one thing I love about Facebook, truthfully, is the drama of these public pages. So there's like a Worcester Insiders page, and somebody posted that there was a police report for a noise complaint for this church. This church sits kind of in the middle of a new development. And it was there first, the church was. And then they've kind of built this development around it. And so a little bit I would agree with the the people that are like, dude, you bought this house next to a church that was already there. But if you were building a house next to a church, you're not thinking.

SPEAKER_00

They're probably really loud on Sundays. You're not thinking there's gonna be a noise issue. You're next to a church. And the one lady it was the comments were hilarious. This one lady was like, I'm trying to get my kids to bed, and the photos are rocking on the walls. It was the bass, she said.

SPEAKER_01

It's not the sound, it's the bass. And they have it every night, a few nights a week. Multiple nights a week. Well, I did think probably they have rehearsals at some point, right? They aren't just showing up on Sundays blindly singing these songs. So it's probably rehearsal nights.

SPEAKER_00

And then so many Christians were like, You just should go over and join them. Praise the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Worship. One of my students goes there and she he wasn't there that day, but I I saw his dad there. And so I said to him, I said, I saw your dad. I I went to Wister Naz for church, and he was like, Yeah, he said, Did you see that they're getting in trouble for their noise? And I said, Well, it was really loud. And this boy was like, So what? It's church. I was like, Okay, sure, but my ear is still ringing. I will say, I think that his message was so fabulous, and it was a Holy Spirit message. I think those are really powerful of just like the way the Holy Spirit can move in you. But I think that as I'm getting older, I do like the old hymns. I like our church that way. I mean, I I would go again, certainly, but our church is in a little bit of a line period transition period.

SPEAKER_00

So I think see what how it shakes it. Yeah, hopefully you get a great pastor. Agree about the Holy Spirit message. I feel that's like room for me to grow. And it feels a little scary. Because what you said, the other message you heard several weeks ago was like if you pray for the Holy Spirit to intervene in your life and reveal stuff to you, be ready. Because what was the thing he said Sunday that Holy Spirit is movement, is action maybe or something. And I feel like what I sometimes struggle with is discernment of like you ever have a thought pop in your head and you're like, is this the Holy Spirit or God, or is this just an echo of my or me being because sometimes I think that when I think it's something that God is leading me to, is it just my anxiety?

SPEAKER_01

If I worry about something, I'm like, oh my god, God's telling me that this is gonna happen, or you know, I'll be doing this and I really is it just me worrying or wondering or something like that. Yeah. I think that that can be really hard is knowing what direction you're being forced to. Because really, why doesn't God just really paint it out for us?

SPEAKER_00

I know, why is that? I wonder. Seriously, is it it's probably testing our faith. Yeah, and I don't know how we talked about a few episodes or maybe last one of like you want your kids to struggle and you can't take away the struggle. He probably feels the same of like if you're just giving everything. Well, if he did paint it out for us, we probably wouldn't follow though. Yeah, I know. We're always like, give us a sign, and he gives like 10. And you're like, well, not that one. Right. I don't want to do that. I don't know. On Instagram, I follow Jenny Allen. Do you know who that is? You've talked about her, I think, before. Yes. She's just like a I think an awesome speaker in the faith community for women, primarily. She, oh yeah, there was that devotional I'm sometimes listening to on Spotify that's like stop the downworld spiral. She has a few books and podcasts, and she hosts a big women's conference each year called The If Gathering. So I'm subscribed to her channel where like the text or send messages on Instagram. And today's was Stop Overanalyzing Your Life. It's not about where you are. It's about faithfulness and obedience wherever you are. Start obeying what you already know. And then the Bible works she referenced was whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Which, gosh, I think we all, I mean, maybe not all of us, but I do think most of us sometimes struggle with like our purpose in life, where we are, what we're doing, are we in the right spots? In relationships at work, especially. And I feel like that verse is just so strong, even if this isn't forever, or if I don't feel like I know where I'm supposed to be. We're just supposed to be working for God and not for our human bosses or coworkers or whoever it is. And I think that means like working with integrity, you know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I have I usually have to lean on verses like that every August. I when you're not sure because I do believe that teaching is something that I was called to do and it's absolutely my spot and what God wants me to do. But after having your summers off, sometimes they can be really hard to get motivated again. I wanted to talk about some things that I'm loving right now. I had made a note in my phone of some things to share, which one of them, and it's brand new, Amy used it when she got here. I got a vibrating plate. Is that what we're calling it?

SPEAKER_00

Is that what they're called?

SPEAKER_01

Vibration vibration plates.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you stayed on it and it jiggles your entire body. Oh my gosh. And it actually felt amazing. You were only there for like two minutes, but it was in a crate. Yes, it was. I assumed that was like for I don't know. My mom had something where you would lay down and put your feet in it and it would jiggle you. Uh huh. And I just always assumed that was like a weight loss thing or I think some people say it maybe is gonna be for weight loss, but I don't think it really you said this was like, oh yeah, it loosens up your back and everything.

SPEAKER_01

And just like the lymph node drainage and just really shakes you up. Maybe we'll record the next episode, I'll be on it. Yeah. Well, the when we got it, I put it on I first started with like level one, and then I moved it up to level five, and then the boys go on it. I didn't even know how high it could go, because you know I'm an Enneagram 7. I'm not reading an instruction animal. And so the boys went on it and cranked up to level 120. I was like, oh my gosh, I thought five was like mid. I was maybe halfway there. So I've been cranking it a little bit higher, like I go to 30. But really, just kind of loosens things up, feels great. Yeah, it did. So I was on the fence for about it for a really long time and then just finally did it and I loved it. On the fence, I feel like grab one. So fun.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, the other is also just relaxing. We said like it's kind of like a massage. That's not really, but you just are like, I just had a minute to myself.

SPEAKER_01

Right. That's great. Wait, we mentioned earlier their earwax candle. We've not shared on here about this. So I just said that my ear has been clogged for it was really, I think it was the end of February. It's April now. And it ended up, I went to urgent care and I they said sinus infection. I did a round of antibiotics over I don't know when that was, in March sometime. But I just can't kick it. Like right now, it's a little bit clogged. It just comes and goes. So I got this earwax candle, and have you seen them? Well, my mom did it to me as a child. Oh, yeah, that's what you said.

SPEAKER_00

Was she a little bit like crazy? Yeah, I feel like my mom's always been a little bit like that. Like, I don't even remember what else.

SPEAKER_01

I love it. I hope you know in therapy. I hope you're able to remember more about your child. Me too, I probably will. And sharing it with school. So I only did it in my left ear and probably need to do it again. But yeah, it's not really a candle. That's the one thing, too. I feel like it doesn't really drip wax, it's hollow. I was expecting it to be much thicker than what it really was. But then after we got done with it, I made Annie do it with me, of course. Uh I cut it open to see, and there was all this thick, nasty wax in there. So gross. Probably just need to do it again.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, maybe.

SPEAKER_01

The other thing I wanted to share was Thieves Cleaner, because I just got a new bottle and we started reusing it. You still use it. Yeah, I still use it. I feel like because I didn't use it for a really long time, then to use it again, it was like, oh my gosh, this is just the best cleaner.

SPEAKER_00

I love it. Use it for everything. Plus, I I still have little kids, so I do love not worrying about it. Yeah, obviously, it would burn if they drank it, but it would, I think, you know. They're not grabbing bleach or something. And like called poison control. Right. Yes, I love it too. Good multi-purpose cleaner. It smells so good. Yeah, it smells so fresh.

SPEAKER_01

So I went on this dry shampoo search. I haven't used yours yet. I did get it from Walmart. Oh, you did? Yeah. What was it? Like $8. Yeah. It's actually cheap. Along, it's the same as this Batiste, which is what I've been using. I think it's cheap. It's Walmart brand. So I love Amica and Living Proof, but I use dry shampoo all the time. Maybe I don't need it as much as I do. Maybe I'm a little bit addicted to it. I don't know. To use it for just volume too. It's just I only wash my hair twice a week. So it's just sometimes once. I'll sleep it up with it up in a ponytail, and then the next day I just like spray it through with dry shampoo, brush it out, and then I style it. I do think it if I didn't use it, it would be greasy, at least around my face. I have really thick hair, so I think I have to use a lot for it to really like cover it all. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, wait, why do you sleep with your hair in a ponytail? I just supposed to.

SPEAKER_01

Should I be doing that? I never do it. No, you're probably not supposed to. I'm probably getting oil all over my face. But I just like it out of my face, so I just put it up. The Amica and Living Proof that I love is so expensive. Yeah, and if you're using it all the time, needing it a bottle every month, basically. So I went on this little like trying different brands. Sister Studio says to use Nexus. It's a Nexus brand, and it's like maybe $20 a bottle. But the bottle I Got right away clogged. Annoying. I ran under hot water. I did all the things. Do like a toothpick? Trying to pick it out. Oh, that's a good idea. If you try that, stay tuned. Yeah. It's still in my cupboard, of course, but I basically gave up with it. I got mad, just gave up. So then I got this Batiste brand, and I think it's pretty good. It's cheap. But I'm gonna try yours. What was yours? Not your mother's. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

With the green grass on it.

SPEAKER_01

The Batiste brand, I think, is harder to work to brush it out. I feel like it leaves the white powdery residue. Yeah. But if our listeners have any really great dry stitches that are cheaper, I mean gosh.

SPEAKER_00

Do you have anything that you want to share that you've been using since I love? So the one thing I'm going to try that I haven't yet are those frownies. So I feel like I have noticed. Did someone point it out to me? What happened? How did I notice that? I've got a big crease, big wrinkle in the middle, like above my nose.

SPEAKER_01

This is gonna sound mean, but I think it's just your face.

SPEAKER_00

I think it's just my face. Because in the one of the did you send me a time hop of Samantha and I recently? And I zoomed in on five years ago and it was there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_00

But I've never noticed it. Right. So maybe because you're skinnier now.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not showing. Like four pounds. It's all in your face, specifically between your eyebrows. It's so funny.

SPEAKER_00

So I have noticed that I'm squinting with my eyes, I think, often at work. So I on my monitor increase the size. I'm trying to relax my face.

SPEAKER_01

Do you need reading glasses?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I had LASIK when I was 19.

SPEAKER_01

Look at you.

SPEAKER_00

So advanced. So advanced. And now I'm 33. But could it still go bad then still? It will. I feel like it shouldn't go bad at 33. I don't know. I'm in denial. I'm not. I don't know. I'm not ever getting it tested. What?

SPEAKER_01

You're never getting it tested. You're never going to the eye doctor? Until I'm like 50. She refuses. Okay, Brian Kortner. He is the same. He is the reason why we have that lamp over his chair. I'm pointing at a lamp. And all of his sizes on his phone we had to make really big because he's. That's what I did on my computer. I just made it a little bigger. And you know what I told him? He doesn't even have to go to the eye doctor for reading glasses. You can just get them from a prescribed pharmacy. Yeah, they're there. Like at Drug Mart. They're just there. Reading glasses are just go grab one. Try them out. And then I said you could have a pair by your recliner to read. You can have a pair at work.

SPEAKER_00

I'm 33. There's no way I need reading glasses. Yeah, right. Of course.

SPEAKER_01

You're right. You're you are right. Not with your LASIK at 19. No. You and Brian together.

SPEAKER_00

So, anyways, I'm going stay tuned sometime. Not right now. I'm gonna try those frownies. Yeah, I love it. I don't think I have anything else fun. I got my haircut, chopped my hair off. It's fun. I'm feeling like it's a little short and I don't know how to style it, and I have nothing to wear for these photos this weekend, and that was a stupid thing to do.

SPEAKER_01

Fummy me.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That'd be a fun thing to look back on. I was thinking when you said what should you wear, why don't you just have the kids wear like some outfits you really like them in? They wouldn't have to all match. It could be things. We work really hard to make everything look so perfect. I think truly that we have plenty I can pick from.

SPEAKER_00

Printing them and posting them in your house because I know you never do that. I am doing that this year. 2026. I'm printing all my photos this year. I am. I just have to find photo frames that I like. Yeah. So, all right. I think that's it. Yep. Nothing else to report. Are we ending in a prayer? Yeah. Okay. All right, God, thank you for this week. We just pray that, gosh, we just really pray that we each feel your presence this week and that we just experience the joy that you have to offer. We pray that we each feel just contentment wherever we are, and that you have us there for a reason and that, or at least for a season, or whatever it is that you are working through us, and we'll be patient and work for you and not for Matt during that time. We just pray for everyone listening to this podcast that they know how much you love them and that you're crazy about them, and that how much we appreciate everyone listening. And we just pray blessing overall. In your name we pray. Amen. Amen.
