SPEAKER_01

Hi, I'm Ava. And I'm Abby. And you're listening to End Is Afters.

SPEAKER_00

Where we use East Enders hot topics to talk about our real worlds.

SPEAKER_01

And have a good gossip.

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to the Us. Welcome to the Afters. So, Ava, what's your storyline?

SPEAKER_01

Should you or would you take money from someone you hate?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

What if it was like a million pounds?

SPEAKER_00

I suppose it's got to be context, but essentially.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, now I've changed loads of iron. Depends how much it is.

SPEAKER_00

But but essentially, I don't want your blood money.

SPEAKER_01

Someone you hate, yeah. Because we've got bloody George's dad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so George's dad has terrorised him his whole life. He's come back into his life, and Nicola behind George's back is trying to get his inheritance before he died.

SPEAKER_01

So you think there's gonna be money? I don't think there's gonna be money. I don't think there's gonna be money.

SPEAKER_00

And even if there is money, it's just gonna blow up. But I don't think there's money either. That's my that was my first thought, too. I think it's a lie. I know. It's kind of like But you give Nicola a way that she can help her family and she will she will lie every lie there is to be told. She will Big Borrow still.

SPEAKER_01

Billy did warn George ages ago that she's trouble.

SPEAKER_00

So funny, so that's what I thought during this story. Then this is where that that comment wasn't left in Extenders for no reason. Saying, like, warn George she's trouble. Yeah. This is where it's gonna come into play.

SPEAKER_01

Just because now she's had a baby and they're in that kind of honeymoon stage, she was nice for a sec, and now she's back to the baby.

SPEAKER_00

But also, like, essentially, she is kind of doing the right thing in terms of like sh she's definitely using George as too much of a pawn in the game, but like she's doing the right thing by trying to get money from this evil man to help her family in and George as well to keep their businesses afloat. But no, it's not the right thing, but it it comes from the right intention.

SPEAKER_01

It's for her, yeah, because it's money, because that the thing is.

SPEAKER_00

You mean just money, it's to keep the businesses going.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but it's still dirty money.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't want it, but yeah, Nicola's a dirty woman.

SPEAKER_01

Nicola's a dirty woman, and it's never gonna just be oh here that something's gonna be tied to it because she's evil and he's evil. We love her, but he's evil. There's nothing come as good as gonna come from this. Absolutely not lie, like they all do in Eastenders.

SPEAKER_00

Like she does, she doesn't ever tell the truth. But that's why we love her.

SPEAKER_01

I have got to say, the acting, she's so great.

SPEAKER_00

She's unbelievable.

SPEAKER_01

I was saying to Abby earlier, like, she's obviously postpartum depressed, but the way she's acting it is so amazing.

SPEAKER_00

Like, you don't she just acts it, they're not telling us she's this way, you could just feel it and she deals with it in the way Nicola would deal with it, and that's because she's got the character down to a tee.

SPEAKER_01

She doesn't have to like yeah, like I feel what she feels when she acts, it's she's amazing.

SPEAKER_00

She is, I think, uh one of the best actors on that programme. She's unbelievable.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

If she doesn't stay on extenders, she'll go on to amazing, amazing things. But I hope she does stay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and like she's dealing with the postpartum, she's got her new but her um premature baby, she's got a businesses. She she's a crazy woman, but she holds a lot on her shoulders. She keeps it all together because she's strong.

SPEAKER_00

Oh crazy!

SPEAKER_01

But she's strong.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, baby. Um no, I don't think it is ever. Do you know what? I have had two instances where I have been um offered money from people that I don't like, like, yeah. One of them essentially was a family member, and I just knew if I took this money that I they tried to palm it off as like um just giving it to me, but I knew that I would be under there that that would it would get thrown back in my face and no about amount of money, even though I was cool with them at the time, I knew who they were, and I know amount of money wanted me to tie myself to that person. No amount of money, no opportunity, no nothing. And I thought I'm not having you give me that because then that means I owe you something. I knew it wasn't free. You know, when people make out the money's free, it wasn't free. No, it never is. No, and then another one, this is actually so East Standard's coded, actually. So basically, I had a family friend that was my mum was friends with from really young, but so for some reason, she just never liked me from young. As a kid, she just didn't like me, and she definitely liked my brother a lot more. I don't know, I think it's because I got more of my mum's attention than she did.

SPEAKER_01

Family members can be crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, she wasn't a family member, she was a family friend, and she didn't have children. Yeah, so I think she didn't like that I had more of my mum's attention. I don't know why she didn't like me, but she does not like me. And in her will, she left money for me and my brother, but left substantially less for me than my brother as like a last jab to basically be like, This is what I think of you. And I said, says mum, you have a like I don't want your I don't want it.

SPEAKER_01

Shove your money up, you ass bitch.

SPEAKER_00

I know how bad. Oh my god. I was only like 20 at this moment. Are you kicking yourself today? No, it weren't that much anyway. It weren't that much anyway, but that's what made me think like don't like yeah, I'm not taking your last moment.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I believe that money has a spirit and it can be evil, it could be positive, it can be negative, like it really does have a spirit. Yeah, because it's transactional, the transaction can be in many scenarios, and if that one who don't wrong, it leads to worse. If that scenario is good, it leads to better things.

SPEAKER_00

Beautiful, yeah. Money's energy, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

It is because it's transactional, so it's like it will come back to you in one way or another, and it's not the be all end all, even though it is amazing to have, but it can put you to the dark set. You can have it, you can lose it.

SPEAKER_00

For sure, for sure, exactly.

SPEAKER_01

So that would have haunted you for a long time. If I took it, we would we would have been able to know each other.

SPEAKER_00

It weren't that much, I think it was like a couple of hundred dollars. If if I have my figures right, I think I was this was like ten years ago. No, no, no, but no, you're you keep making out like it was thousands of pounds. I literally think it was about three, four hundred quid, and then my brother it was like eight thousand or maybe a thousand pounds. That's a s not eight thousand, eight hundred. I was about to say that she's screwing a message there. I might have that wrong, but that was the disparity, and that was it wasn't that much anyway. Maybe if it was that five grandma, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You want to say pass it here, I'm doing a deed for myself. Yeah, but you know what I mean? Yeah, that's terrible. So I mean it's evil. Honestly, that's what businesses are like, they're like we'll take a massive chunk of your lovely little grassroots business, yeah, and we'll just shit down the toilet.

SPEAKER_00

I know. But East End is this such a very East End codes to realize everything comes. We've spoken about it before, like, everything comes through like I need 10 grand.

SPEAKER_01

10 grand, you're gonna give me this much by this much, otherwise, this much has happened, and it's like, oh go to the safe and take out the gun and the 10 grand.

SPEAKER_00

There's always 10 grand and Phil's 10 grand. Phil and it's 10 grand.

SPEAKER_01

I know, or that selling a business. Because Linda's giving away her half Johnny.

SPEAKER_00

That little really money is such a thing, but also that's what they're like working class and they've got none, but they have some. Yeah, exactly. That's where I think like it would is not true. So it's the thing is like no one in a community like that, they wouldn't all have these like.

SPEAKER_01

Well, she might also get the money though because of the visit.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, Linda might. But like who blackmails people these days? Does it happen?

SPEAKER_01

That's what I mean.

SPEAKER_00

In Wolford it bloody well does.

SPEAKER_01

It does. Sometimes I have dreams about being blackmailed.

SPEAKER_00

Do you? Yeah. Oh my god, but for what?

SPEAKER_01

I don't dream that much. Yeah, exactly. I'll take your plants. These are worth a lot of money. You see the size of these bad boys. Grown from the birth.

SPEAKER_00

Growing from birth. Really? From birth. Wow, this one. David Attenborough.

SPEAKER_01

David Evanbro. I gotta.

SPEAKER_00

Happy birthday, by the way.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, I don't think it's good to take money. I think you just have some pride if they fuck it.

SPEAKER_00

I do get why Nicola's doing this though.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, I get why she's doing this.

SPEAKER_00

Because he's dying. I don't know if she'd well, yeah, she'd probably still do it if you weren't.

SPEAKER_01

But he's like evil. He's not even like a little bit annoying.

SPEAKER_00

Then yeah, do you even want him? Do you even want him his presence? Is his presence worth it?

SPEAKER_01

It's not because he's gonna be doing some nasty shit from now on. He's a great actor as well. I really like him. Really great actor.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's really great. I wonder how it is gonna pan out. Obviously, George is gonna find out.

SPEAKER_01

She's gonna find a way for him, she's gonna take the money and then she's gonna manipulate George into having him in the home. Gina's gonna go crazy because Gina hates him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Gina really hates him.

SPEAKER_01

And there's gonna be no money at the end.

SPEAKER_00

He is coming into the home. He's in the home from this week. When this pod comes out, he's in the home from last week. Um one thing I will say is that I just thought I think she's gonna end up killing him.

SPEAKER_01

I thought she was gonna kill him with the kids.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because maybe he's not finishing him off, gonna die quick enough, or maybe it's not terminal or whatever, and so she's gonna finish him off. Which I'm up for that. Dar Nicola, kill him off.

SPEAKER_01

I think she's gonna be like, Well, when are you dying? Because I've done something bad.

SPEAKER_00

She's gonna be like, tick, tick, tick, tock, I need that money, darling. The business she's gonna pull out one day.

SPEAKER_01

I'm in my overdraft. She's gonna pull out the old plug of the pillow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Kill him! Kill him! Sorry. Um so what's your final drifter?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, I I don't want blood money, evil money, bad energy, so far away.

SPEAKER_00

Money is energy. Yeah. That's your final drifter.

SPEAKER_01

My final drifter is money is energy.

SPEAKER_00

And we don't want that dark energy.

SPEAKER_01

No.
