Hi, I'm Ava. And I'm Abby.
SPEAKER_00And you're listening to Ender's Afters, where we use East Enders hot topics to talk about our real worlds.
SPEAKER_01And have a good gossip.
SPEAKER_00Welcome to the afters. Welcome to the afters. Abby, what's your storyline? My storyline is: have you ever been framed? You've been framed. For something you didn't do.
SPEAKER_01No. You're not?
SPEAKER_00No. I actually have been set up. Really? When I was teenager, I'll get onto it. But were you what are we talking about? Billy has been set up big time.
SPEAKER_01He's having a hard time this week.
SPEAKER_00I feel like it's all come to a head. Like she B's obviously been plotting this ages. She got his voice recording, didn't she? A long time ago. Yeah. She's played the long game.
SPEAKER_01She's played the long game because she got caught for the frauding of the money. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And she still didn't still manage to wean her way back in.
SPEAKER_01I know. Which really annoys me that Honey is like choosing this random woman over Billy.
SPEAKER_00But it's because she played the long game. Like she's worked on Honey over time. She's got her when she's really vulnerable, she's going through the menopause. She's kind of making her think that she can't trust herself. Yeah. And she's slowly done that. She's also made it that she can't trust like men around her. She also has talked a lot about like um like preyed on the fact of like as woman, as woman, as women, which is all true, but she's used that to manipulate, like, and turn her against men because it's come to like she's so against men because of how her mum acted with men. Yeah. She's been trying to turn young Janet against her dad, against men.
SPEAKER_01You dare do that to Janet. Don't you play with Janet? And Will, I love Will. He reads it. Will ain't stupid though, he's onto her. I'm so happy there's someone that's got his back finally, Billy's back.
SPEAKER_00I know. Because these are the bit parts of Extenders where I get Will infuriated. You know, at first, like Will didn't want anything to do with him. Oh, that's your dad. I know, and like he fully wasn't believing him, he was believing B, because B's been manipulating him over time too. But then now he's clocked on. I was like, yes!
SPEAKER_01Because she got the voodoo dolls out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was actually mental, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's crazy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's so crazy.
SPEAKER_01She's crazy.
SPEAKER_00But I've loved her character, but I am also glad that it's just like a short stint.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because watching her over a really long period of time would actually be so jarring.
SPEAKER_01Gets under your skin because she's um she's one of them characters that pop in and stir shit up. And they do a great job at it. They do, they go. And poor Billy, he's such a nice man. I know. And because he's cheated once, honey's already got that thing on the back of her head.
SPEAKER_00She's played, she's taken all these little bits of information she's learnt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but do you know what as well? It's because she's got that in her head and bees use that. But do you know why I think Honey's believed him over her? Another reason, and I think this was also part of Bees Master Plan, was she felt humiliated in the pub. Yeah. So even if she knows, you know, Phil said to Billy, like, she knows deep down, you haven't done this. But like when you feel humiliated like that, yeah, it's almost more humiliating to back him when it's like in the middle of the pub, everyone thinks it's the truth, everyone sees it happen. She's so humiliated, she just doesn't want anything to do with him, and she's just not gonna think straight because regardless, it's humiliated her. So she's just got to go with what she's got to go with, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because the stuff's out there, so she's like, like, have to sort of believe it. Yeah. I was like, if I was Billy though, I'd be like, if you believe this woman, I'm never coming back. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Because this is out of out of order.
SPEAKER_00But this is where he sends is so infuriating. You're like, speak then, and he's like, fine, and leaves the house.
SPEAKER_01And I'll be like, bitch, no. Feels like you're acting guilty.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Poor Billy's like, what do I do? What do I do? He's like, get a grip. Pull your socks up, babe, go get your misses back. I know, but they are showing the AI, they're touching on the AI, aren't they? Which is really like I know it's scary.
SPEAKER_00I do love that EastEnders have have touched loads on AI recently, and I actually think it's really good that they're speaking out about like how dangerous AI can be. Yeah. But Eastenders don't back AI. No, no, no, they don't. They don't. Probably because things like soap operas, you know, like we're we're heading towards like AI making films and stuff. I actually think soap operas would almost be one of the first things to be replaced by AI as opposed to like big feature films. So Eastendas ain't going down without a fight. Yes, because it's not like obviously we think it is, but like soap operas in a way aren't like full of like depth and heavy twists that you would never guess and stuff like that. AI could they couldn't, but they could kind of replicate the scripts because they are a bit silly sometimes. Yeah. Do you get what I'm saying? Yeah. Whereas like I don't think AI could think up like a new innovative film that like has a twist that no one sees come in, because it's not a problem.
SPEAKER_01But they use AI in films already, they're using it already.
SPEAKER_00But like I mean script like to create it from start to finish, not just using it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_00Because there will be programs that are completely and utterly start made from AI and not humans at some point.
SPEAKER_01I know, because now they're like because apparently women weren't like use AI a lot less than men. Yeah, I'm not surprised. That's why they've got Kylie Jenner to be the face of the Meta Glasses, because like statistically the women weren't using it and it was just tech people, and now they're like filtering it into influencers to make it and she of all people, where she's been watched her whole life and now she's got glasses where you can record people just because she wants millions and millions of greedy pounds dollars, it's actually fucked.
SPEAKER_00No, Ava, I actually I I can't really talk about it too much because I actually cannot believe that this is legal that your people are allowed to walk around with glasses that they film you that you don't know are there. Like, you should be getting told that you're being bit filmed when you're being filmed. Like, if a film crew goes along the road and you get in the back of it, you have to sign a release, right? Yeah, absolutely. That's how life should be. Like, and I know we can walk around with our phones, but at least you can see a phone. Yeah, yeah. Even if people do try and hide it, for the most part, you can clock a phone, right? And if someone's gonna put something on YouTube, at least you're aware that this is happening, like hidden you're basically giving the world hidden cameras. Yeah. And then all of that's all of that data from that filming is owned by Meta.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and because young people are they don't know they're being sold what they're really being sold, that's why they've gotten this friggin' influencer to to like promote it to the young people who are not as clued up. It's just crazy. And apparently, the the the um when it's recording, a white light comes on, but there are people in America that can drill out the light, so you don't even know you're being recorded. Do you know what I mean? So you're just like, yeah, oh my god, it's actually so scary.
SPEAKER_00Why do we need that?
SPEAKER_01I guess they don't need that because it's surveillance and data, really.
SPEAKER_00But I'm just like no, but we that's what I'm saying, we don't need that. No, it's so pointless. The the pe like the powers at play want that to control us more, to get more info on us, to drain more from us.
SPEAKER_01They those Kardashians do not sleep on that money, they're crooks.
SPEAKER_00Honestly, I actually can't. I I I I think they're parasites. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're absolute parasites. Yeah, sorry to any Kardashian fans, but also not sorry. Not sorry, like the state of the world, and you're still. Yeah, they don't bring anything positive to it. Nothing, like everything. If anything, they're destroying it. They are, and and no, they actually are, not if anything, they fully are. And like everything they advertise is a drain on our on our world. Yeah, even like when it comes to clothes as fast fashion with the climate change right now. I'm sweating as we film this. Yeah, in the same way. If you're in the UK, in the UK, you understand what I mean. We've had to close the door for the sound, but we're fucking boiling.
SPEAKER_01Sweltering in this heat. We need to get some aircraft up in here. Um, so how did you get set up?
SPEAKER_00I had to oh my god, like not in the exact same way. When I was a teenager, I was in year seven, right? I went to like one school for a year and then I moved. But this is part of the reason why I moved because it was like I went to a school that it was just like not really me. Like a lot of the girls had been to this like cute little primary school together, and they were all friends and stuff, and I was like a bit of an outsider. So I'd like joined this girly friendship group, and they were just so bitchy to the degree that one of them made up a whole story that I had said something about I can't even remember what it was, obviously it was only seven, but I had said this thing and blah blah blah, and she told one of the girls in the group, made this whole story, but made sure the girl didn't tell me who had said it. Everyone turned against me, and it was like they were adamant this thing had happened, and like I was getting texts on my phone, everything, and then I ended up finding out who it was, and I like confronted her in front of everyone. It was so East Enders coded, it was actually a bit more Waterloo Road coded. Oh my god! But like this whole lie about me, like this whole setup went on forever. And I even think, if I remember rightly, some of the things she said I said she had said, and then she like it was so far, it's obviously it's like year seven crap, but like I ended up moving school, not just for that reason, but like the school I ended up going to was just way more me. It was like very working class, like my older stepbrother went there. I knew a lot of the people there already. It was it was rougher, but I found it easier to set it like fit in, yeah. Whereas like that school was like just these bitchy girls that had known each other from primary school, so I just like was sort of up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, come to think of it. Someone spread a rumour that he smooched and fingered me, but he didn't when I was in like year eight. He spread a rumour that he did that to me. That's kind of that's kind of a compliment. I was like, give you killer just last. That's a compliment that he wanted the world to know that. I was like, what the hell? I was like, that's not that's not what happened, but yeah. I love I didn't go, I didn't kiss anyone from my school. Really? No, so get to outside write your number below if it was you.
SPEAKER_00I love as well that you said smooched and bingled, but you're too scared to say like snogs. But you're all scared to say bingled.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, that's so joke. I know. Well, my work set me up quite recently, didn't they? Oh god, they did. In the workplace, a lot of setups go on because everyone's trying to cover their backs.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Especially when it comes to things like charities and that, it gets political.
SPEAKER_01It does. It does like everyone's watching it, it's a whole deal, but it's a whole deal. You've got to watch your back out there. You have. And what about Billy on Tinder? Bee put him up on Tinder. Oh my god, it's just so funny.
SPEAKER_00The picture, I know. And then she even done the voice recording. And you know what I love is that Zoe's on hint, like Tinder and I know, so funny, and then she comes across him, and even like the three of them in the pub, like her, Kat and um Kim. Yeah, and like how they're key keying about it, and it's like, you know, when things like that happen, it's so bad, even though that's their friend, they can't help but like love that that's the tea. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it does get like that. Yeah, even when you know the person, it's kind of bad, you're kind of loving the tea. I know. Until like, obviously, it blew up in her face or whatever. Kim was all over it, you know.
SPEAKER_01Kim always puts her nose in it. Kim will always always put gossip first as well. Always. Because she would she told B that about Billy and Tina. Did she? Yeah, when she was getting an elder. So that's why she was like, I don't want to say, but and then proceeded to say it.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, that's why she's friving off this now. She's like, she's like making herself in the right for saying that.
SPEAKER_01So she's done put Billy on Tinder, she's got the voice notes, he's got his search history where he's like been looking, she's like, You want to have sex with other people? It's like, how can you believe that? I know, but she does. And what else has she done, B? Planted seeds.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she also rigged the Ian campaign, didn't she? She rigged the Ian campaign thing. She is crazy. She's crazy, and then Honey decides to move her back in. I'm like, honey, come on. Not even just like getting on with it, and she's like, that's my best friend, bro. You've known her five minutes. Honey, wake the fuck up. Honey's so gullible, isn't she? She is so gullible. I can't bear it. Do you know what makes me laugh about Phil again being the voice of reason? I know, and also how like soft he's being. Like, you know, like sometimes, even though Phil's got money, he doesn't just give away his money. Like, he'll be like, fine, I'll help you. And it takes a while for him to be like, so even with his family, straight away he was like whopping out a couple of grand trying to pay her off. He has got soft in his old days. He has. He loves his family these days.
SPEAKER_01He loves his family.
SPEAKER_00I know he's always loved his family, but he also puts his family through it, usually, doesn't he? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's usually horrible to them. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Now he's got everyone's back. I love soft fill, but he's also hard at the same time. I love soft phil a lot, but I can't forget.
SPEAKER_00You never forget. No, I actually can't. I don't know why I'm treating it like it's real life. Oh, it's been a crazy week. It's been a crazy week, and it's only about to get crazier as well. It's all unraveling. Um B was on this morning talking about like filming her leaving, so she is leaving soon, so it's gonna come to a big explosive end, but I don't know. Well, do you reckon she'll die? Do you reckon she'll just go on?
SPEAKER_01No, she'll get she'll just get I think she'll get shunned from the square.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But she used to be a teacher, you know.
SPEAKER_00In real life. Yeah. What the actor?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like quite recently.
SPEAKER_00Really? Yeah. Yeah, she she's been in stuff back in like the early noughties. I'm pretty sure she was in the Alistair McGowan show, which was like a sketch show. And it was like, you know, in the Catherine Tate era. Yeah. It was like that sort of era, and I'm pretty sure she used to be a comedian in in that. Oh I'm pretty sure it was her.
SPEAKER_01She is funny, like she's very funny. She's got she's creating a funny character.
SPEAKER_00She's crazy and scatty, and just that erratic and like we've loved having you on the square, B. We have could do come back in 10 years.
SPEAKER_01There's people on in the East Enders community, they're really bees really winding them up. I know, which is what she's meant to do.
SPEAKER_00So, like, that's a good thing. She smashed it, basically. So, what's your final diff-tif? My final diff-tiff is in a world of AI, keep your wits about you.
SPEAKER_01Keep your wits about you, because then metaglasses are coming to keep your wits about you. They're coming to get you. In a world of Kardashians, keep your wits about you. Exactly. Like, subscribe, comment below if you've been a victim of fraud. Victim of fraud, manipulation.
SPEAKER_00Comment down below if you hate a Kardashian and which one which one you hate the most. See you next time. See you next week.
