If your mind loves to replay the day just as your head hits the pillow, this short bedtime meditation will help you unwind, switch off, and drift into rest with far less resistance.

In this 10-minute practice, you’ll be guided to soften your body, slow the breath, and let go of the mental clutter that tries to follow you into the night. We gently close the door on the day, its conversations, its emotions, its unfinished bits and create the space your nervous system needs to settle.

Nothing complicated. No pressure to fall asleep. Just a calm, steady descent into rest.

Perfect for:

  •  Overthinking at bedtime
  •  Releasing tension from the day
  •  Easing anxiety before sleep
  •  Creating a peaceful night-time routine

Press play, let yourself soften, and allow sleep to find you. It always does when you stop trying to meet it halfway.

Welcome to this ten minute settle to sleep guided meditation. I'd like to invite you to lie down and let your body know it's safe to soften. The day is done. Now it's time to allow your body to relax into sleep. To let whatever's gone on throughout the day stay in the day and not carry it into the night. If it feels comfortable to close your eyes, please do so. And as you take a nice deep breath, feel the weight of your body sinking into the bed. Do feel your breath start to settle. Allow the breath to come and go slowly in and out, like waves washing away the leftovers of the day. Take a moment to notice how your body feels. Relax your face. Unclench your jaw and unfurrow your brow. Let the shoulders drop and your belly loosen as you continue to breathe deeply in and out. Bring to mind the energy of the day, the conversations, the rushing, the emotions, and see them like pages being closed in a book. Let the breath sweep through like a gentle tide, clearing what isn't needed, and allowing your mind to rest. Imagine your whole body getting heavier and heavier, softer and quieter. With each breath and exhale, you're sinking further into comfort, nothing to solve, nothing to prove, nothing to hold. Let it pass through and flow away as if moving downstream. Let the water carry those thoughts away from today and let yourself dress like a lee on calm water. Your only job now is to rest. Sleep will find you. In your mind's eye, imagine a beautiful, vast, deep blue sky filled with stars, and as you stern up at the beautiful twinkling lights, it's your time now to drift away and let go of the day.
