Back with a BRAND NEW intro and a WHOLE NEW slate of trades to discuss in the NBA and NFL. Crazy. Lots of big moves to talk about. Zach and Dom keep it a hundred with their takes on what's been going down. We're excited over here folks! Dive in and learn a thing or two.

SPEAKER_05

Yo yo yo season two, man.

SPEAKER_03

Sir, episode one, running it back. C B D. Yes.

SPEAKER_07

Improved here. Much improved. Yes, sir. This time around. We ready. Yeah. Um jump back in some football and basketball today. Um, if you got time, drinking a little World Cup. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Talk about what's been going on, but yeah, I mean, we got a pretty full slate. What's been going on? A lot has happened. Yeah, ever since then, yeah, everyone. Ever since then, ever since NFL's been done, they've been getting getting a lot of trades done this offseason. Been a lot of big names moved around. Um big and like big and small coach coaches moved around. Um debatably best best coach in the league. Went to the Giants. I mean, or Harbaugh. I mean, just say like last few. I mean, I mean, I guess not saying okay.

unknown

Okay, bro.

SPEAKER_05

I'm just saying one of the best coaches in the past. There you go. There you go. Is that not what I said?

SPEAKER_07

You said arguably the best. I guess it's the same. You know, I guess I yeah, you think he's arguably not wrong. He's got one. Yeah, he hasn't. But I mean no, he's got one back in 2012, but Ravens ain't really did shit in the last fucking we'll say 10 years. They even made it to an AFC championship game. Yeah. Or sorry, they did. They made it to one. And they lost to Mahomes. That was uh the year I think San Francisco the year they beat San Francisco the second time in 2022. Ashray, I'm not sure. A beat Ashtray. He's got it.

unknown

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_07

But uh yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, they've been relevant to success, but I mean, just regardless, I mean He is one of the best coaches. I mean, him being in Baltimore, he he was in Baltimore for his whole career though, so him just kind of getting a fresh start. Um we'll see what that can see what that can do over there in New York. But no, I mean, yeah, just a lot of big trades happened in the NFL. Um, but more recently, the Knicks closing out the closing out the Spurs a little bit earlier than I think everybody would have thought. Not me. Um not dumb. I told them what was gonna happen. I told you.

SPEAKER_07

That's what they call a gentleman sweep, bruh. 4-1, you didn't have a chance. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's 4-1, bro. Let's let's let's cut, let's stop it. Like, New York could have won that last. They could have won the fucking the game. They lost as well as San Antonio could have won too, but they didn't. Yeah. The game game five was um just a little bit of the same. Yeah, seriously they jumped up to another lead. It was 14, 15, a fucking, you know, 27 at the end of the first quarter. I th I thought I thought the Knicks, I thought the Knicks kind of jumped out to a little bit of a lead in the first quarter. You know, San Antonio first quarter of San Antonio. I don't remember a halftime. I think no, the Knicks were cutting it. Or actually, I think the Knicks were up at halftime. Or I don't know. Um Knicks had to come. No, they're no, they had to come back the fourth quarter. San Antonio was, yeah. San Antonio was up um like eight to ten in the start of the fourth quarter. I want to say. New York was it was literally the same as it's been all fucking series. San Antonio did the same thing they did.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, I mean that yeah, the Knicks only put up, yeah, they only put up 13. It was 23 to 13 in the first quarter, and then they outscored him by five in the second, so they were still down a little bit at halftime. But yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Down by five.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

How much were they down by in a th started a four?

SPEAKER_05

The Spurs outscored him again in the third by two, so they outscored him by 11 in the middle by four.

SPEAKER_07

So yeah, so so New York was down by 11 going into the four-four? No, I think they were down, they were down seven. Okay. But I mean a little bit of what it's kind of happened really all seriously.

SPEAKER_00

Um I mean, yeah, the fact that Brunson put up 45 on 14 for 27, yeah, four for seven from three. Yeah, he had a great game. He had a great game. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

You know, and like I said, you know, he struggled with um the first three games of that series. Right? Only thing that people are gonna remember is him dropping 40, whatever, in game five, and then game four dropping a high 30, him and Ananobi both had 30 plus. So that's what people are gonna remember. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's what I was saying kind of early in the series. I'm like, regardless, he's gonna average about 30 in this series. It's Brunson. He's one of those guys, you know what I'm saying? He's he's he's proven that, you know. I think this was this, he's the greatest Nick of all time, in my opinion. Sorry if anybody disagrees, but you know, he stopped a 53 year streak, not him individually, but he had a good part of he was the MVP of the team.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, yeah, he I mean, you know I don't think they win that.

SPEAKER_07

He's second in New York points already in the playoffs. He's second, or not not in points, but more or 25 point games. Second already. And he's only had three playoffs. Patrick Ewan's the only other one. I think he has six. No, actually, no. I think he's only like two or three more. He only has two or three more 25 plus point games in Brunson. Because remember, I ran you that stat, and I said that Brunson was second in 25 plus point. I don't know if you remember, but I brought I don't I said something to you about it, and I believe this is before the finals. And he had what two or three games with 25 plus. So I mean, if if if my math is right, if I'm remembering right.

SPEAKER_05

Like he had two or three 25 in the finals already before.

SPEAKER_07

No, I mean after the finals. So during the finals, I think he had two or three 25 plus point games. And again, I know the last two, obviously for sure, you had more than 25. I don't remember the first three before that. I don't I know the first game he had like 21 and then 20. I don't know. But anyways, he's within, you know, four to six games of breaking that record, which he's gonna break that record next year because, you know, let's knock on some wood. I don't want, I don't wish injury on anybody, but you know, that's the only way that New York wouldn't make the playoffs next year is if he got hurt. If he's playing, if he's there, it doesn't matter. And he's gonna drop 25 plus because we know they're not gonna lose in the first round, right? With all even with all the trades and all that shit. They're not gonna lose in the first round next year. He's too good. I mean, the team is too good. They're bringing back everybody that they fucking had. They just won the final. Yeah, they're bringing back everybody that they just fucking had on the roster. You know what I'm saying? They're not losing one play around, except for Mitchell Robinson.

SPEAKER_00

Which will which is a big loss. I mean, the trade, the trades that we're gonna talk about in a little bit are kind of, I mean, gonna fall back into that a little bit.

SPEAKER_05

A few teams in the East are trying to make big moves to try and put themselves on the map a little bit. Cause I mean, because I I was watching watching talk shows this morning, uh, just kind of listening to them recap all the trades and everything. They were saying that the Raptors trying to trade for uh Kawhi is kind of like they think that this is like the world. They already did trade for yeah, yeah, they did, yeah. So they're saying like like the the East is like not like not even wide open right now, but like nobody's like nobody's really got like I mean Brun like Brunson, but like the Celtics are kind of still working their way back up.

SPEAKER_07

Dive right into basketball first. I mean, yeah, we already talked and then new football afterwards.

SPEAKER_05

Because we uh Yeah, um I I mean well so but I mean I guess the heat and getting Giannis, like that's like another big start, but like in like in the East, there's really like honestly, like I feel like anybody like Donovan, I guess, at the cat, like, but there's really not anybody like a solidified team that should like should get out of the East next year, I feel like so.

SPEAKER_01

New York.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I I mean I I feel like that's gonna I feel like that's gonna be everybody's favorites and probably get out of the East again next year.

SPEAKER_07

The only issue with that I mean I don't I don't have another year of age for them. Um which would be the only thing that I I would say that is not on their side because they are not a relatively young team per se. Right? If you look, Jalen Bronson is 27, 28. Yeah, Miles Bridges, same thing they came in the same time. OG, same thing with Ananobi, Kat, same thing. It's the same thing with Hart.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's yeah, so you mean that's the only thing Hart all came in at the same time, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Alvarado, fucking, you know, and that's the thing they will have to address um is uh is that bitch. Um losing Mr. Robinson is losing that's losing dad. Where did uh where did he go? Well he isn't going, but they're not re-signing him. It was I read something that said that he's like the money that he's oh yeah, sorry. The money that he's um fucking that he thinks he's gonna get in free agency in New York is not gonna be able to fucking Yeah, that's tough, dude. So that's a big loss. But if they can get another body for a cheaper price It's not gonna be the same as Mets, bro No, but it I mean it could be it could be an upside. I mean, because it could be a player that's a little bit healthier because if there is one thing other than offense that you would say on his downside is it's it's the health. But honestly, I just I don't know. I think maybe you can give somebody who makes his free throws. Yeah, because he is a fucking terrible free throw, sure. Yeah, and I think you know, we'll say when they still you win the finals, nobody's really in the ace except for we're looking through this, so we should be just you know, agree to Miami. I think um that's a good trade, but I don't think that puts Miami than New York. No. I'll see we'll see what happens with Jalen Brown with Boston because I don't like we're talking before post or pre-podcast. I don't think that relationship is gonna be fixed. Um, I don't think and he's been pretty outspoken this whole summer. Since they've been, he's been saying wild shit. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know if you've been following the shit with Jalen.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you can't say he keeps saying shit like this. He's gonna go on that line is like Jalen's moving Antonio Brown. Well, because I know he has the podcast.

SPEAKER_07

I know he has some podcasts. Yeah, and he be saying wild shit. And he's into it right now with fucking Stephen A. I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna have to fucking Which ain't really big news.

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna have to listen to some of his podcasts and see what he's been saying about the whole situation over the last two weeks with him.

SPEAKER_07

But not even about him, he's been talking about the whole NBA. Like he seems like one of those players or guys that's gonna fucking uh you know leak out shit or tell you shit about the NBA that people don't know. If they don't want. Right. I can see him doing that. He's a very intelligent man. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Very smart, very intelligent, you know what I'm saying? And though people like that are dangerous sometimes. But, you know, to keep it basketball, um I just don't see that relationship being mended. I don't think, you know, that's for anybody, bro. If a team is willing to offer you in a trade deal, that means they don't believe in you. They don't either that or it's age. It's not age. I feel like it's we know it's not age. I don't think it's so what why else would they?

SPEAKER_00

I think it's that that they just well, I think it's well they think they get a better player than him because they can't. I think with I think with the Giannis thing, I think they're always just somebody who's kind of a different caliber player who can offer them something, who can put them over the edge in a different way.

SPEAKER_07

But my thing is, is they would have to change their whole style of play. If they get a player like Giannis, what is Boston known for now? Boston is known for chucking up three. That's it. Like they will go inside. You mean sometimes if it's like a fucking, you know, steal on the other end and it's right by the lane, yeah. Hell, they might, somebody like Tatum might still pull up for a three, but most times they're going in for a dunk, right? So they are a high volume three-point fucking shooting team, bro. When you go, you get a player like Giannis, you get a player like fucking Giannis, Giannis needs a ball. He's not an off-ball type of player, right? He's not, he's ball dominant. He does pass the ball, but he's still ball dominant. He needs the ball in his hands. So a player like Giannis, you gotta change your whole forte. Tatum, like that's a whole nother adjustment. That's that chemistry that you break it between two players that damn near got drafted. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, around the same time. Exactly. And we're both no one knew we knew we knew about Tatum, right? We knew what he could be, but we didn't no one knew Jalen Brown was gonna be the player, and we didn't expect them to be together this long. Yeah, I didn't. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Especially you go fucking sign him two years ago or a year ago for this big ass extension or this big ass contract in the next year after having the best season of your fucking career. I did what you needed me to do. The best player on the team trying to quote on quote trying to trade me for Giannis?

SPEAKER_00

No, yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_07

Quote unquote, the best player on the team. He was out for pretty much the whole damn season. I kept us within second and third place of the East the whole goddamn season. And I was an MVP, top five, top ten, whatever. I played as good as, you know what I'm saying? He played great. He showed he's a number one player. He showed that. And then you turn around after that and fucking trade. You try to trade me.

SPEAKER_00

MVP season.

SPEAKER_07

Fuck you. You know what I'm saying? My opinion, fuck you, bro. That's like, I, you know what I mean? Like, I'm just thinking about it. Like, think about it as you. You go out and bust your ass. At work, you go ask for a fucking raise. And they're like, I don't actually, you know, we we just don't think that, you know what I'm saying? Like, what you mean? I just, I don't know. For me, that was kind of crazy that they involved him. And then I just think that in this stage in this career, like I was saying, and you, I don't think Giannis is going to fucking get healthy. He's not gonna get healthier. We know that. Jalen Brown will never get hurt. Jalen Brown has always been healthy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he has been.

SPEAKER_07

Giannis, you can't say the same. I not although I will say, bro, a lot of it or some of it has to do with him not wanting to be in Milwaukee. I get that. But that is no excuse for two years ago.

SPEAKER_02

He won his championship then.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, but two years ago, we weren't here and he was saying that he wanted to stay in Milwaukee two years ago. And he didn't play in the playoffs, and then he missed some games the next year and didn't play in the playoffs again, and Lillard got hurt. Played a couple games in the playoffs. You know what I'm saying? Like they he played and he got hurt against Miami and Jimmy Butler and then beat him. And then the next year, he lost the fucking to the Pacers in the first fucking round. You know what I'm saying? Like, so and he played a couple games in that series. Jalen Brown might have won that. He can't shoot. Eventually, and you see, and and this is one thing that this goes back to.

SPEAKER_02

I don't even know if you could say it like, bro, he was still playing pretty good in those Pacers games. Fire.

SPEAKER_07

He's playing all right. He wasn't dominating, like he wasn't old Giannis. But I'm gonna tell you this, bro. Toronto way back way to what helped him in that championship was having Drew Holliday and having Chris Middleton play the way that they did. Because they didn't play that. He didn't have Drew Holiday and Chris Middleton didn't play like that when they faced Toronto the year that Kawhi won a championship. And I've never seen a team play that style of defense on Giannis, and they didn't shut them down, but they made it very because they just packed the lanes. They put hands up and they packed the lanes. They let everybody dared everybody else on that team to shoot.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And they had Chris Middlesous still, but he wasn't the same Chris. This was two years prior, before a lot can happen in two years. He wasn't a player he was. They didn't have Drew Holiday. But Giannis, you know what I'm saying? Like, because he can't shoot, eventually you're gonna find a way to stop it. He can't dunk on everybody. You ain't gonna be able to come down the lane every time and dunk that bitch.

SPEAKER_00

He was still averaging 33 against the Pacers, bro. So and he lost. And 15 boards.

SPEAKER_01

He lost.

SPEAKER_00

And six, right, and six point six assists.

SPEAKER_03

So he he was still doing his thing.

SPEAKER_07

How many games he played?

SPEAKER_03

Um all five. Oh, okay, and he lost. That's crazy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, dude, that yeah, that Pacers team is on, yeah. I mean, Pacers team is on a run. And dude, he also he shooting 60 he shot 60 percent. Not true. I mean, I know I like because I I I remember I remember press conferences after after he after they went out that or because who was the year they went out? Who did they go out to the year before that? Oh, did he not even he he he didn't play the playoffs, but he he was hurt the year before that in 2023, 24. But yeah, I'm and then they lost to Miami. Yeah, he only played the um game one, game four, game five. So he got hurt in game, yeah, hurt in game one, but game two, and that missed one game, and lost in that game five. That what do you average against Miami? They were both pretty close, bro. The last two games that he played, he dropped 26 and then 38 the game they lost 38 and 20 the game they lost, bro. They lost an OT. He only played 11 minutes and he got hurt.

SPEAKER_02

So I don't know, dude.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like he's he's always somebody who's come in and fucking done like he's he's always done his thing, man.

SPEAKER_07

That is three, almost going on four years. The Pacers won was two.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And and and and and Miami didn't I think three years ago. That was almost going on four.

SPEAKER_05

That was when Dame was still on the team uh against against uh Indiana, but I don't think he wasn't healthy. So it's like that that like I I feel I feel bad. I feel bad for the Bucks that they fucking put their um put their trust in Dane because I feel like I mean he's not yeah, I mean like I feel like at that point in his career he just wasn't wasn't gonna be like just a number two just in the way that they need him to be for Giannis. Because I like like I mean like just just be like just being a like he's gonna be. They didn't get a chance to play that many games together. Yeah, that's fine. I mean, just the fact that he wasn't available. Yeah, but yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Both of them weren't available at certain points in the season. Yeah, I guess. They didn't get a chance to build that chemistry, to be honest with you. And they got together a little late in their careers. If this would have been two, three years ago, yeah, that'd have been nasty work out there. It'd have been tough. If this is like 2019 COVID, that's nasty. You know what I'm saying? Like them niggas, you got a nigga, yeah. I don't yeah, it's gonna be tough to beat them boys. You got a motherfucker shooting from 35 feet, and a motherfucker who's coming in and can dunk on anybody. So if they pack that lane, just kick it out to Dame. And he's gonna do it. I mean, yeah, that'd have been, yeah, they just got together too late in their careers. Not gonna lie to you.

SPEAKER_05

It was tough. It was I mean, it I mean, I feel like it was it was even more tough to see the way that it fell out. Just seeing Dame going back to Portland and my or in Milwaukee having that having to hold that contract. And then seeing them trade Giannis two years late, two years like, yeah. So tough to see it went out the way it did. But um, I mean, would they get back in? They got Tyler Hero back in that hall, uh coming back to play in play in his home state.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, I mean, I I mean I think that could be that could potentially be pretty good for him, I think. I mean terrible next year.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I mean, yeah, I mean they might they they probably they probably will make the playoffs, but I wouldn't even see I wouldn't even no, they won't maybe probably won't.

SPEAKER_05

I mean they might make the chance. They might make the play in, bro. There's always that chance. There's always a chance you could get it okay.

SPEAKER_07

Let's look at the teams that made it. Playoffs this year. Let's look. Out of all those teams, who's gonna miss the playoffs next year? And then factor in the fact that they might, okay, they might or might not. Charlotte still got kidnapped on Brandon. And they're back player. Lamelo was really one healthy. And Miles Bridges. Cutnupple's a problem. He's gonna be a dog. And so is Brandon Miller. They got, and Kobe Whitestopped, he played good for them last year. When he got to Charlotte, when he got them straight, yeah. When he got to Charlotte, he's getting off. That's them. Atlanta's gonna be back. They're gonna be good. Detroit's gonna be back. Boston's gonna be back. New York's gonna be back. Cleveland's gonna be back. Orlando's gonna be back. Indiana's gonna be in the mix. Miami is gonna be better.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I mean it's gonna be a key. It's gonna remix it here.

SPEAKER_05

Toronto. They just got Kawhi. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

So we'll see. Because if he get hurt, they're done. If you button around and blow one of the knees off, they're done.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I guess. I ain't gonna lie to you, bro.

SPEAKER_07

They just got it out that roster.

SPEAKER_05

No, they didn't got it. Uh still Scottie Bones. They only traded away Brandon Ingram and Grady Dayton, who was just coming off the bench for him. He wasn't even really playing that much in the playoffs, but so I mean, yeah, trading away Brandon Ingram.

SPEAKER_07

Brandon Ingram had a good year for them and he stayed healthy for the most part. He did. He did. That's what helped him get to the playoffs. We see him not play good in the playoffs that they lost in the first round. So my so I'm saying is if Kawhi gets hurt or if he has one of them years where he's not playing, like I mean, he he played last year was one of the most games he played in a while. In a long time. I don't know if he can do it again at the age of 35. So if he can't, right, because we know his history, Toronto's gonna be in trouble. Because they put a lot of, they gave, I mean, Grady Dick was a big was a big piece coming off the bench for them. Um so they just got Scotty Barnes and essentially R.J. Barry. You got other pieces around. You still got fucking um the dude they got from New York.

unknown

Quickly.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah, Emmanuel Quickley, yep. But and then you got Jacob Purdle. But, you know what I'm saying? That's I don't mean the investment that you put in for Brandon Ingram and ready to get Kawhi, you're banking on him to be healthy.

SPEAKER_05

And if he is healthy, and also and also all those picks as well. Like I feel like Toronto's definitely banking on Kawhi. I mean, move I mean, just the fact that just what you said, the last year was his most healthy year that he's had. So Toronto's kind of banking that um he's got like two or three more, two or three years left in him, and he can stay 37, 38.

SPEAKER_07

I can't imagine that. I mean it's 35.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, just I mean, just just even one, bro. You give me one good season. This is where you won the championship. Well, it's enough to win a championship. I don't think it is.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, he's got he's get he I mean he's got some he's got some good people. Like not I I I I don't I don't think it's championship worthy. I don't even I don't think that they'll even get out of the East. Or I don't even think they'll I don't know if they can be New York. Yeah. I think I mean I uh I want to say that I want to say the Pistons have a fucking chance to get in there, but it depends on what happens with the boy. Yeah, which I deal with.

SPEAKER_07

So I mean, I don't he's a restrictive free agent, and if he's looking, explore it, I mean he don't want to be in Detroit. So during Durham. He's meeting with the he's meeting with the Lakers. And there's meeting with the Kings, too. Yeah, Kings and the Lakers, uh, two teams giving away. Yeah. That just tells you right there. If he was sold, I mean if Detroit, if both parties were sold on each other, he wouldn't be meeting with anybody. It'd be a damn deal, right? I'm just saying, well, what am I gonna meet with anybody if I'm if I want to be here and you want me here? So there is this disconnection between some side, either Detroit wants him, he don't want to be there, or vice versa. So depend depending on what happens with that, you know what I'm saying? I really can't speak on Detroit because a lot can change. See, I mean, a week from now, you know, you can go somewhere, y'all make a sign and trade, even though Detroit says right now they don't have intentions to sign and trade him, and they want him back, but as if he won't, I mean, you know, if you want out, you want out. You know what I'm saying? Like, you I don't feel like you're gonna put in maximum effort if that's not the place you want to be at.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, for sure.

SPEAKER_07

And that's what I feel for the way I feel about Jalen Brown.

SPEAKER_05

But moving forward, um another another few big ones also in the case.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, kind of sorry, which is Randall to the Nets. I think that's a wash, whatever. Yeah, I mean, we'll I mean just him and Cam Johnson will be fun. They'll score a lot of points. I mean, not Cam Johnson, sorry. Um sorry. Um sorry. He don't even play for no more Michael Porter Jr. Well, you can't be a lot of score.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah, that's fair. But I'm not not fucking not even considering the Nets for real. But I mean, just the fact that the Wolves uh well no, I mean the fact that the Hornets kind of broke up their uh their two biggest players that they had for last last few years. Um, but the fact like Mello wasn't Mello wasn't like definitely injury prone. They didn't know what they were getting out of him all the like getting out of him all the time. So trading him to the Wolves, trading Bridges to real smart. And I and honestly, honestly, bro, I'm not gonna lie to you, bro.

SPEAKER_07

Because he played one of the healthiest years he had, kind of like Kawhi last year. And that's this is the best this is the best stock you're gonna get for him because you can't count on him playing, duplicating that again. And say he gets hurt and he's showing Charlotte next year at this point, at the age of 28, 29, you're not gonna have too many suitors for him to be able to get that draft compensation that they did this year. So that's why I thought that there was sharp. I didn't a little surprise because I thought it'd been fun to see, you know, him, Brandon Miller, and Canal. I kind of thought Miles Bridges was gonna be on his way out. I I just they've been kind of looking for trade suitors for him, rumors for the last couple years, but they just I don't think they found the best deal for them this year.

SPEAKER_05

But I'm I mean, bro, when when when the uh when I saw the trade package that the the Hornets got for the Suns, or the Hornets got from the Suns, I thought the Suns got or I thought the Hornets got a little bit fleeced, I'm not gonna lie. Why you thought because I think it was Royce O'Neal and um defense, they need defense.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I yeah, I guess so.

SPEAKER_05

But I mean I guess he's a three and just coming off the bench. Yeah, three and D. Um I can't even can't even can't remember the other player they got in that trade. They might have yeah, I guess they might have got like a they might have got one, they might have got a pick or two. Um let me look it up, but like no, I was just definitely a little bit a little bit surprised that just after the Horn is getting getting into the getting into the No, they weren't in the playoffs. They got knocked out of the plane, didn't they?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they did.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but I mean just kind of stepping over that hump a little bit. Um Making like just I mean, after the all-star break, having a really good having a really good run. Um, really just I mean just just playing fun basketball, fun to watch. Um there's quite a lot of point. Yeah, and then just trading away, trading away two of their biggest players. So it could could be different for them next year. Um we'll see, but they still have their two their two uh core core young players and um Brandon Miller and Con Kanipple. And it was their first year with Kobe White, and they they liked what they saw, obviously, um signing for three years, so they kind of got those three as a lock right there. Um which isn't bad. Um and then I think they're big, I think who's it Musa Diabate, still, yeah, from Michigan. So they I mean they they still they still got a young team. No, they still got a young team, really. I mean, relatively deep bench, I feel like. I mean Nellis Reid is still his like late 20s. Yeah, no, he's only 26. I didn't realize he was not so he's only been in the league for a few years, bro. But no soon. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Huh?

SPEAKER_05

So what? Yeah, yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_07

That's one thing you're gonna do. That's anything you're gonna do off the bench.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, that's kind of I mean, he he might end up starting, he might end up getting that starting role for the first time. It might. Um, because I mean, just looking at their depth chart right here, I mean, him and like Bruce O'Neill might get it, might get it some games, just depending on might maybe depending on matchups or just who's playing better, who's hurt, who's what. Um But yeah, I mean, I think the I mean the. Maybe, yeah. We'll see. We'll see. But I mean, I think that sparkle. I think I I mean I think I think they could be I think they could be another fun team to watch next year, though. I mean, seeing the East making all these moves, um, trying to trying to compete. I mean, not even compete with the West, but I feel like the West for the last few years has just kind of had um not even like not even dominance, because like the East East has had East has had some finals. Um East has had some champions over the last few years for sure. But um just having like having Golden State being as good as they were for so long. Yeah. Um I mean the Lakers weren't even fucking Lakers aren't even super good for a while, but like we know how good OKC is gonna be for a while. Um maybe not like yeah. So I mean same thing with the same thing with San Antonio um ant being over.

SPEAKER_07

So like Denver's gonna be good for a while.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I mean they really did nothing since they won a championship. Yeah, I mean I I mean the thing with Denver is they they I mean when they tr when they fired uh they fired Jamal or not not Jamal. Or yeah, yeah, Jeff or Jeff Malone. I was gonna say Jamal Malone. Mike Malone. I was gonna say I was gonna say Jamal Mosley. That's who I was the host of the uh Magic, right? Yeah, the Palatine society, but no, Jeff or Jeff Malone. Um yeah, I thought they I thought when they uh fired him, that was kind of the first the first thing they did wrong. Um kind of breaking that up. I feel like their whole team had a lot of trust in him. I feel like they I mean they won that championship together. I feel like they were all playing hard for him. Um that was crazy. Um but I mean just the f I mean and then the fact that they really have only traded away Michael Porter Jr. Um and brought in Cam Johnson. That was that that was the one that was the trade they made with the Nets, and it just didn't really work out. Um and Porter Jr. was big in that playoff, in the playoffs, in the playoff run, especially that they had when they won the finals.

SPEAKER_01

I know he was yeah, what he played like garbage last year, and everybody got it for for Brooklyn, oh Denver, yeah, his last year before they traded him.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but still um had an injury, but he's always injured, so but uh yeah, I mean it's yeah, it's tough, but um I mean I think yeah, I mean honestly I don't I don't mind seeing some teams falling off in the West a little bit though. But we talk about another another team in the West that's kind of on the come up a little bit, probably gonna find I mean potentially could maybe find themselves in a playoff spot in this upcoming upcoming year, uh Portland. Yeah, probably will get in Jock, maybe have uh supposedly have Dame back for full year. Gonna be healthy the start of the year. Um still see how they do that lineup. Yeah, I mean and we also still look like we still supposedly have some trades that could still happen as well, because they have a lot of they have John Morant, Dame was who they projected one and twos for that I saw, and then they still like Garden. And then they still have Drew Holliday and Scoot Henderson.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. And then that backcourt. No, yeah, that backcourt doesn't have any. Or especially coming off of Achilles, like, you know, I mean they both.

SPEAKER_02

He's not all for him. But he's he's he he he's small, he's small though.

SPEAKER_01

And they don't type game.

SPEAKER_07

They gonna see if they're gonna test that Achilles off. And being no age he is. We're gonna see. But um I think they will make the playoffs, I think Portal. As long as John can stay healthy and he can uh you know do not do any, you know, off the court antics or anything like that. As long as strictly basketball and plays, you know, in between we'll say 55 to 65 games next year. Right. To me that's that's doable and that's you know, that's one be bad. You know, if you play 58 or 60 out of 82 games and then play in the playoffs. But we know what a hot and a healthy jaw is. Um it's kind of hard to judge him.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, Memphis haven't really broken. You haven't seen him haven't seen healthy jaw consistently for a few years, really.

SPEAKER_07

Well, yeah, and that relationship has been broken.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's been broken for a while. Ever since everything started going on social media, the and name. Ever since he pulled ever since he pulled it out, man. I'm surprised Memphis didn't trade him earlier, really. I was I was surprised that uh Jaron Jackson went out before he did. Um but well it was always it was always kind of on the five.

SPEAKER_02

I felt like it was a little bit more capital they could get.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, but yeah, I mean dry and just what he's been how he's been like they said a week ago that it's been literally no suitors or people calling for him when Memphis said that. We don't know if that's true or not, but you know what I'm saying, you know, three, four years ago he was, you know, the the number. Yeah, exactly. And just you know, his performance of how he changed Memphis instantly and his presence was felt instantly. You know what I mean? You know, having I think number one record one year in the West, or number two, one of the two. Um, and then they lost to Golden State. But you know, he kept them relevant, they had a decent team, he played good. You know, I mean, like his trade value thing.

SPEAKER_05

Who's their um who was their coach when I think Taylor Jenkins? Okay. Who's he coaching? Who's he coaching? Isn't he's not the ball dude, is he? No. Because cause I cause I do I do remember them being I do oh no, he is like he's he's there in the ball. I mean it was damn near.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, he's well he's still there, isn't he?

SPEAKER_05

Oh no, he's a he's in Milwaukee now. No, I mean no, he he was in Memphis, but they he just he just signed Milwaukee. So I mean I can't remember. Yeah. No, because I mean yeah, I I I remember when Jock came into the league. I think I mean I don't think he might he he might have got rookie of the year that year. Um I might be I might be mistaken, but I yeah, I I definitely remember his first two or three years. Memphis was on a little bit of a roll. They had Dylan Brooks, um dude fucking Brandon Clark, R. I'm gonna that shit was crazy when I came out, man. I was yeah um because I because I was gonna say I dude, I I remember him because I think he was one of the um that was one of the last 2Ks I was really like 2K20. I remember I remember using him, dude, when I was like I was playing my play, like my play with my boys. Um not like it's not not kickoff, it's called it's called it's called my play. It's when you're yeah, it's when you're picking teams. I think I would like me me, like me, a few of me and my friends would like to go get Memphis, and I remember Brandon Clark being being nice on the game. And he was he he was good in real life. Um yeah, no, I mean he was yeah, he was good for sure. They had some had some other solid players around them. Um Jaron was I mean that's that's three, four years ago. And so that's when he's I mean, not even at his prime, but kind of getting into it a little bit. Um for the Dylan Brooks, um Jaron Um Steven Steven Adams was on there. Wasn't it was was he st I don't know if he's I feel like he was starting.

SPEAKER_07

Steven Adams is there, they had Tyrus Jones, Tyrese Jones, some dookies a backup point guard, he was big for them then. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Um I can't even I can't even think of everybody, but it's kind of crazy to think of them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Santiago Dama, yeah. I th yeah, I can't even think where he or he's not gonna worry at all.

SPEAKER_05

I can't even think where he's at right now, but it's kind of crazy to see how that Memphis team kinda dissolved after quickly. Yeah, yeah, pretty quickly. And now they're I mean Yeah, I don't think they're gonna be I mean I don't think they'll be really I don't know who they start in lineup is I don't think they'll be relatively relevant in the West for a little while.

SPEAKER_07

But you know what they tell me also that probably holiday go actually kind of going back to Portland, uh Holiday or School Henderson is probably gonna be on the move at some point. I don't think they're gonna continue with the four guard. Oh yeah, yeah you don't need four. You know what I mean? Even a coming even if you have two coming off the bench, whatever, they're all under man, they're all undersized. Granted, Drew Holiday is a good defender, probably the best defender out of all of them, but he's older. And he's still 6'4, 6'5. You know what I'm saying? Nowadays, guards, all guards are 6'5 and 6'6 and up. You know, if you're playing against the Lakers, you're going against 6'7 and 6'6 and Luca and Reeves. Um, you go against Minnesota, you're going against 6'7, and Lamello, and 6'6, 6'7, and Ant-Man. You go against fucking OKC, you're going against 6'6, 6'7, Shay. And depending on, you know, I've heard things, rumors about Lou Dortz maybe on the move. Regardless, they, you know, they'll find a two, that's he's 6'5. They might sound okay. So you might be trying to make um And then San Antonio. Castle 6'5, and you got fucking Visselle at 6'6, or Champagne at 6'6. So, you know, all up and down that list. You know, the the it's not a lot of small guards. You got Livard, who's 6'2 on a good day, and then you got fucking John Morant, who's 6'4, which is good, but you know, is he gonna be able to hold Luca? No. Is he gonna be able to hold Shay? No. Is he gonna be able to hold fucking uh Stefan Castle's gonna be tough? Imagine, you know, Castle going his third year, he's gonna be better. You know what I'm saying? Uh and Lamelo ball, that's gonna be a tough hole. You know what I mean? Lamelo's tough with his or Ant-Man, whether they want to switch it up. That's gonna be tough. You know, and Denver Jamal Murray, you know, even though he had a bad series against their last couple games against Minnesota, um, he's still uh a top 15, top 10 point guard. So, you know, you can put a bucket up in these 6'5. You know what I mean? So all up and down, you know, the West or anywhere you look, you know, it's taller guards. You know what I mean? So I don't know who they're gonna hold. They gotta make they gotta do something. Um one of those, not one of those, obviously, we know Dame and fucking Jaws are not going anywhere. Yeah, it's traded for Jaws. And Dame, you know, he's not going, he's retiring a trailblazer. So um they gotta between Scoot and whenever they probably are gonna trade Scoot, you know, because they can get a little bit more capital, I feel like, out of him at this stage in their careers. So Scoot played really good last year.

SPEAKER_06

So Bro Loki so Drew Drew Drew Holiday didn't play. But he's got a year old.

SPEAKER_03

Holiday didn't play bad in the playoffs.

SPEAKER_04

No, he didn't with his age though. I mean he's he's getting older.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he is older than he's gonna be. I honestly wasn't really expecting him to play nearly as good as he was in the playoffs last. I mean, it was just the first round. Yeah, they only made that. They got knocked out in the series versus the Spurs. So but I I mean from what I remember, I feel like he was he was he wasn't playing bad in that series versus Spurs.

SPEAKER_07

No, he wasn't. Um we'll see where LeBron goes. We'll see. Yeah. What happens that um, you know, Reeves and and Luca, if they can get maybe Jalen Dern, that'd be a solid for Mimidal for mim for mimicable or I can't formidable fucking damn formidable team I think next year, you know, just because of a style of play of Luca. Or I say this because Luca's different from Cade. They're different players. Yes, so okay. You know, I would still say Luca's a little bit of a better passer. He's more through he throws more lobs than Cade does. You know what I mean? He's more of a lob, but I I can see Dern just catching lobs. To be honest with you.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I mean, Kate, bro, Cade was throwing him a lot of lobs, but he shoots a lot of threes, and Luca does too, but Luca's known for the lobs.

SPEAKER_07

He doesn't, bro. Y'all didn't really throw a lot of lobs last year.

SPEAKER_06

He honestly does, bro. In the regular season, bro, bro, he was getting like a lot of things. Well man, in the playoffs.

SPEAKER_07

Like, I don't know what happened to the lobs in the playoffs. I mean, I'll tell him, but that's what you remember that that map was running. But that's what I'm I don't I don't know. I don't know what everybody. Everybody was just stuffing the pants. And the Lakers will have a solid guy. Y'all didn't have that other player like Reed. If y'all would have had someone like Reeves this year, I guarantee you Jalen Durham would have played better. I promise you. Because there's no way they'd have been in a double team K kind of hand with Austin Reeves. Not like Austin Reeves would have played. Austin Reeves would average about 20-25, bro. I mean, consistently. If he was healthy. We gotta think. Lawson Reeves wasn't really healthy.

SPEAKER_03

I think Duncan was getting like almost like 17 or 18 against the Cavs. Like he wasn't in bad. But he's inconsistent, though.

SPEAKER_07

Reeves is not really that inconsistent.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Remember, would Duncan Robinson ever have that run that Reeves had in November? Remember when this nigga was averaging damn near 30-32 in a whole that nigga was getting getting the fuck off.

SPEAKER_03

And then he got hurt. He was only putting up 14 against the Cavs.

SPEAKER_07

That's what I'm saying. And Reeves is not helpful.

SPEAKER_03

He was only putting up 10 against the Magic, so yeah, it's just not good enough.

SPEAKER_07

That's not that's what I'm saying, bro. Reese is a different. If y'all had got him this year, then I would have been like, okay, watch out for Detroit. I'm not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_06

He put up 15 points three times in the playoffs.

SPEAKER_07

You hear me though? If y'all would have got AR this year, I ain't gonna lie. I'd have been the knee and it said, watch out for Detroit. If y'all had been able to keep that nucleus, if y'all would have been able to get him and get Tobias maybe out of there, and maybe a time, y'all may have had to give up Thompson. That would have been tough, but y'all still would have had some defense on that team. But the fact that you would have had Cade and AR who could put up 25-30 a game, and then that space is a floor for Duran in the East. Even New York. I wouldn't put y'all as a favorite, right? I would still say New York because of how deep New York is, because of that starting lineup, but I would still say that y'all, I can see y'all in the Eastern Conference Finals. I can see y'all, you know, injuries happen. You know, anything can happen, New York lose a couple of those players, and next thing you know.

SPEAKER_06

You notice how this isn't on the camp? Oh yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Who's over? Detroit Langdon. He's just not smart enough to do that shit, bro. He's not.

SPEAKER_07

Well, I think I think ahead of time, I honestly think that Austin Reeves, they knew that LeBron wasn't coming back. So that's less shots that Reeves would have got if LeBron would have came back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Then his decision, I think, would have altered. I think that's why he took less. Because really, if Reeves would have hit the market, he could have got four years for that 175 that he got. He could have got four years for 250, 260, or five years for two, you know, for 300 if he would have hit the market. Bro, that's a max. That's what I'm saying. He would have got the max deal. That's what I'm saying. Somebody, a team would have paid the max deal for Austin Reeves. The way he played pretty much all last year. He played good the year before that, the consistency, the growth that he's shown offensively, you there are teams that would have invested in him. But I think the fact that he knows that LeBron, I think they knew that LeBron wouldn't come in back. You know what I'm saying? He's like, I'll take a little less, but he gets to play with Luca. Where he knows he's still gonna eat and it's more shots. It's gonna be him, it's gonna be him and Luca show. If they're healthy, it's gonna be the A Luca and AR show. Yeah. Them niggas both gonna average 25-30 a game. It's gonna be fun. Not a lot of defense. They gotta get some defense over there. That's the only thing about LA. They gotta get some defense.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. If they could have picked up a player like fucking, if y'all could have a player like Asar Thompson, that would fuck, bro, that would that would fit y'all kind of perfect.

SPEAKER_05

You just have you just have the two players that can play off that can put up like you said, 25, like Luca 30, AR 20, 25 a game. Then yeah, you just you just need a few defensive specialists.

SPEAKER_07

And a couple person that can dump in 10-15 a game. You got 115 points, you got 50-60 from them on a given night every night. Sometimes 70. If Luca or AR, you know, if Luca had one of the nights where he dropped 45, 47.

SPEAKER_00

I mean I mean LA's needed a decently a decent big man ever since AD is left.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. So maybe they ain't getting there. But moving forward.

SPEAKER_00

Dive into football. Yeah. Yeah, we can wait for this.

SPEAKER_03

Fly back in the NBA at a point, but there's definitely a lot of football for us to talk about. Oh yeah. A lot of football.

SPEAKER_07

A lot of trades happen, a lot of big names. Yeah. A lot of, you know, drafts, draftees. Uh, yeah. I mean, we didn't even get it. We didn't even get a chance to talk about the draft at all either.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, well.

SPEAKER_07

Did we a little bit? I can't remember if you talk about it. No, not really. No, we'll have to hop in that next episode for sure. I mean, but a lot of these free agent trades technically happen before the draft, anyways. And there's a couple that happened afterwards, but majority of them happen within the first few days to a month after free agency opened. So, you know, I mean, we'll be alright. We would dive in the fucking draft and whatever else. Next episode. But you start with some of the big ones. Yeah, AJ Brown to the Patriots. That's not that was that was uh not a surprise him, but you know, I think that I think everybody kind of everybody kind of was uh expecting that to happen.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But uh yeah, I mean, what do you think that'll what do you think that'll ultimately do that help both both sides?

SPEAKER_05

I mean, coming out of a Super Bowl loss last year to the Seahawks at one of the better wide receivers in the NFL for the last year. Top 10. Yeah, top ten receiver.

SPEAKER_03

That's top ten is put him a little higher than that. Top five? I don't know about that. Yeah, I don't know. I feel like he's yeah, I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

He's pretty solid, bro. Maybe we have to do that next episode. That's honestly, I think we should do that. We should fucking put a go in, do top five, do our running back, quarterback, and wide receiver. Okay. And then next we'll do fucking linebacker, safety, cornerback, whatever. But yeah, we'll dive into that.

SPEAKER_03

So they didn't have uh Dobbs last year either. They traded for Romeo Dobbs as well. And he got Dobbs from the Packers.

SPEAKER_05

So one and two, AJ Brown at uh Dobbs, and they had Bottle was their rookie last year. Booty. Well, boot. It is, yeah, I know it is. Keon, but Keon thing booty. Yeah, I I read a wrong. But yeah, so he was their rookie last year.

SPEAKER_00

He played good. He played good. So now they have a true number one. They have a true number one, and if Dobbs can stay. I mean, well, I mean, I feel like even in Green Bay, he was real like I feel like he was I feel like he was more like like he was one of their more healthy.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, you mean but they lost. I mean, yeah, I mean because literally because all their receivers were. Like Eric Kraft was out. So they lost, yeah. He was also I didn't, yeah, but I don't know if he's a tree. I didn't I didn't even I didn't even realize that the Patriots uh got Dobbs until I just looked at their depth chart. So yeah, I mean seeing AJ Brown, Dobbs, and Booty.

SPEAKER_07

It'll be a big year for him. We'll see. I think Booty will be still. I think he'll be that number two. I think maybe start it, maybe begin in the year, depending on who wins in a you know, out of camp and shit like that in preseason or whatever the judgment is. But I think by the end of the year, we'll see that uh, you know, unless he has a sophomore slump, but I think he's a rookie last year. Umless he has a sophomore slump, which it could have happened, I think you'll see him emerge as a second. He'll maybe, you know, as the time goes on, maybe number one, not saying he's better than AJ Brown, but A.J. Brown is a little bit older. AJ Brown is 27-28. Right? Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, for football terms, you know, wide receivers like, are they gonna plan on do you see New England giving him a max view or extending him after this? Probably not because he'll be on the 30 side. New England doesn't have a tendency of doing that. A lot of teams don't. So um Booty, I think this is bigger for him. Uh, we'll see more about what he's about. We know what AJ Brown, AJ Brown's about. We know it. We've seen it in Tennessee, we've seen it in Philadelphia, we know what he's about.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I think it's big time. It's it's time to see what what Booty's about. And uh, and yeah, and you know, it'll be interesting to see them play because they had a cake schedule last year, but it ended up, and they really had a got not kind of a cake run. They did. Um Houston against Houston, that weather played a lot into it. And you know, I don't you can say what you want, but when you got a team that's playing in a dome, majority of the time, they their home game is domed. Do you got to come to Foxborough during a winter storm like that? New England is practicing that weather on a weekly basis after December. From December on, they're practic they're used to that, right? Not saying, not getting any excuse for for that loss or CJ Stroud or any of that because he played bad. But um Houston to go on the road. They played, they played neither, neither teams played good. The defense played good for New England, and that saved the day for them. Yeah. But Houston was in that game for a good portion of it. They just one touchdown could have swinged the game. You know, but it's just tough come outside and uh and that was that weather and how it was. So they got a kind of a breed, and then you go against a Denver team with no bull nicks, um, and then you get to Seattle and you get waxed. So um they kind of, and I can't remember who they played. Actually, they didn't, they had the first, then they had the best record. And yeah, so I think so they didn't play anybody before um fucking Texas, correct. So Texas were their first team. Um yeah, so I think this is a big upgrade, but we'll see if they got kind of a Super Bowl hangover. They didn't win it, but we've seen sometimes teams that you get, and I don't know what their fucking schedule rank is. I don't know. And I'm you know, NFL tends to do that. Teams that's kind of like, you know, because the year before that, they're they won three, four, maybe five games. You know, it's one of the best turnarounds in in history, yeah, as far as one season. So they didn't have really a hard schedule last year, but this year I guarantee you they're probably in the top ten as far as hardest schedules. And the NFL would be surprised if they're not. So we'll really get a test and see what they and then also if if they if AJ Brown can stay healthy, you know, through a year, because you know, they're in that AFC and he's playing outside like he did in Philadelphia, but um, I think he's in a in a more of a kind of not competitive division, per se, but um I think Miami is gonna be a little bit better. I I believe Malik Willis is not that bad of a quarterback. He's on our list here to talk about we'll see what he does. He lost straight in a lot of Miami paid him.

SPEAKER_03

No Tyreek Hill. Miami paid him, but he they he got or yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Played fantastic every stint in Green Bay, he got.

SPEAKER_03

Who does he uh who does he have over there in Miami? I don't even know.

SPEAKER_07

He's like they've he's got HDN. That's the only person I know.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, yeah, and he's the running back. Yeah, he he I mean he he's like I wouldn't say he's one of the better running, like maybe I wouldn't say he's like top, maybe top five, but like he's definitely I mean, like like just because there's so many, I mean it's just it's tough because there are so many good wide receivers, quarterbacks, and running backs in the league, it is kind of hard to rank him at a point because um HN, even last year, I feel like the last two years, he was definitely putting up like he like whenever the whenever the Dolphins, I mean whenever the Dolphins were winning games, it wasn't winning. I feel like he killed in the fantasy too.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Well, because he's also one of those running backs that's he's he's catching passes as well. He's he can get a lot of receiving yards, he's got a little speed as well as go for a 25, as well as go for like one or two 25 yard runs a game. If he can get open space. So um, yeah, I mean, with a new quarterback, they moved on from two uh. Um yeah, let me argue. Malik Malik Washington, Jalen Tobert, and two two outwell tough.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. But his receiver quarter wasn't that much better in Green Bay last year, let's be honest. Romeo Dobbs is okay, he's mid. Christian Watson is mid, and and Matthew Golden. Yeah, you know, he's the first, not the first, but one of the first in a while, uh first round draft E or wide receiver pick from the first round to score zero touchdowns in the season. That's kind of wild to me. And they chose him, and I believe in a top 15 or top 20, and he had zero touchdowns the whole goddamn season. The receiving court has not been good. That's what they've been missing fucking wide receivers, and they did they put you know a lot, but that is gonna cost them with Josh Jacobs because he also he's got that shit going on, dude. I think some shit I can't remember what it is, but he's gonna beat his girl.

SPEAKER_02

He's gonna miss at least. Yeah, yeah, domestic abuse.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so I don't know if it's a good thing. So once a lot of that, I haven't yeah, I haven't really heard a ton about it, but I feel like until he like until all that stuff goes down, like maybe the Packers let him play. Until Well, it ain't gonna be up to that.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, it's gonna it's gonna come down to Roger Goodell and come down to the the fucking executive offices and shit like that. But regardless, even if he's not, you know, gets even if you know she drops the case, whatever, and he doesn't, you know, go to court and all that shit, chances is Green Bay or NFL is still not Green Bay, but NFL is still gonna suspend him. So he's looking at probably in between, I would say, four to eight game suspension, depending on the details, right? So that's big for them. And they better hope that it's early on rather than later on. Because I feel like you'd rather if me, if I was a team, I'd rather miss my best player the first five weeks of the season or six, seven, whatever, rather than the last six, seven. You know what I mean? I don't know, that's because then also they get time to rest and to still train, not in a facility or not practice with us, but they still get to fucking be in NFL ready shape and they're healthy. More healthy than they, you know what I mean, because they get an extra fucking two months to fucking get their body right rather than you don't know, it's tough because you know you might start off bad and then it's no point to bring them back. But traditionally, for me, I'd rather have the suspension be early on, but we don't know. You know, this just all came up recently a month or two ago, so you gotta go through the whole court raiment and fucking all that shit before he even gets sentenced. You know, so it may he may not get sentenced until fucking, you know, October, November. But it's also up to the NFL if they're gonna let him play during that time, or if they're gonna say no, you can't play. That is gonna be big. That's you know, Green Bay, that's another reason why I don't I don't have them. Um I got I got Chicago a little off topic, but got Chicago win that division again because I don't believe Green Bay, they don't have Parsons coming back until midway October, closer to November. You're missing your best, you're out of your top three players, you're missing two of those. Your quarterback out of your Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs, and fucking and Parsons, depending on what happens to Jacobs, that's big. If they because they lost their backup running back, Emmanuel Wilson. He went to fucking, can't remember where he went to, but he's gone. And he played a big part. I picked him up in fantasy. He got me, shit, he helped me in a couple games last year. Uh so they lost that. So I mean, if they end up losing two of those three, Green Bay is gonna be in trouble with no wide receiver core. So in Minnesota, I don't, whatever Kyler Murray, they can, you know, they be they might fuck around and surprise some motherfuckers. They might be like fuck around and be five and two first seven games. Kyler Murray playing the best of his career. He's like, what the hell?

SPEAKER_05

Linking up with Jetta. Because I mean, because the thing the thing we forget about Minnesota is they still got debatably the best wide receiver in the league. Yeah. And Jefferson. So it's arguably. If if they can find Jefferson, I don't know if I mean because I got him number three, but that's just my opinion.

SPEAKER_07

But it's still arguable.

SPEAKER_05

Who?

SPEAKER_07

Who do you got above him? Who, yeah. Oh, Chase and Puka. True. Okay.

unknown

And Puka.

SPEAKER_07

In my opinion. That's just that's just honestly my opinion.

unknown

Fair.

SPEAKER_07

But it's hard to judge because he's had the worst quarterback out of any of them. He hasn't had any any consistent quarterback play. Um, but he still put up numbers when he didn't. So it's hard to judge. This is the hard part about fucking NFL sports, all that shit. It's hard to judge. The other two have had um consistent and great quarterback play out of there. You know, I mean, Burrow and Stafford. You know, those, you know, I mean, and then he had, you know, minus a couple years that Burrow had got hurt, but, you know, um, still like Joe Flacco. Yeah. I mean, if not bad to be alone. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I think uh top still, yeah, arguably debatable. Yeah, but Minnesota, you mean they could surprise, but that defense is a little old, and that defense is is not that good. They've kind of lost some pieces. And Detroit, we'll see what Detroit is. We'll see. I mean, I'm not, but I think Chicago still has the best roster out of anybody in that NFC North. You know, I know you're not a fan of it. I understand it. You know, I would say the same if, you know, rose reverse, and you're talking about the Ravens or Steelers or something like that over my bullies. I would, I would, I I understand it. But I just, you know, I think Chicago's got the best quarterback in that division. They have um they probably do as well. I'm not gonna disagree with you about that. And they and they might we'll see, but they might have the best coach um in that division. We'll see about that. Ben Johnson's a very good coach, as we as we seen last year.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know I don't I don't think Dan Campbell's gonna go quietly about that one.

SPEAKER_07

No, but he's too much of a risk taker for my liking. So that's why I go Ben Johnson because he takes too many chances. You know what I mean? Too many chances where you don't need him. Just take the points, take the three points. Don't go for it.

SPEAKER_02

I think we I mean I think we saw that was it three years ago three years ago on the NFC's ship in San Francisco.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, that haunts. I already know it, because you know, I'm thinking like that was me. I would that would haunt me forever.

SPEAKER_02

That would kill me. Where where were you watching that game at? You remember?

SPEAKER_07

Oh yeah, I was watching that uh Blue Dog Tavern.

SPEAKER_05

Blue Dog?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I was with my boy Sean. I was watching it at Blue Dog Tavern. close to my house on the west side yeah the whole game or actually watched the first half there in a little bit of third quarter and then went to uh or uh glass house and finished watching the game but I knew y'all was gonna blow it I'm I'm sorry bro but I'm like I in my opinion I'm like this too good to be true there's no way Detroit is gonna just straight obliterate and keep this up against San Francisco as good as San Francisco was that year. I think Detroit was Detroit things whooping them but a lot of it some of that was self-inflicted wounds for San Francisco a lot of I well when I watched that game a lot of it was just boneheaded decisions or plays on San Francisco part that contribute to y'all getting the lead not take anything away from y'all but San Francisco played very uncharacteristically against y'all in that first half and they got back to what they are known for and they started off that third quarter by running the ball. Even though they're down 24 or 20 whatever to seven they gave I think McCaffrey had I don't remember how many yards in that third quarter but McCaffrey got off. And that kind of y'all stopped running the ball and y'all also you know went for it on two or three fourth downs that you know if you just would have took the points the game would have been over looking back at it.

SPEAKER_05

But that's neither here um but yeah but we can talk about that next trade that we got on there uh Miles Garrett.

SPEAKER_07

Man Rams won that Rams won the damn I think they won uh all season there's award picking up Miles Garrett and McDuffie I think that was just huge. I mean you picked up still to me the best lineman in the game defensive lineman in the game and Miles Garrett and then you picked up the sack leader for three or no not he wasn't the leader up and down where last year he was he's he's been he's been top he's been top two for the last like five years in every year. He's in the top three or five every year in fucking sack since he's been in there he's like I was yeah he's a dog and he picked up a to me a top five cornerback in McDuffie he does everything McDuffie I was quite very very surprised but kind of I am I am but I wasn't because it kind of reminds me of like New England and Kansas City New England were kind of like trade away like players that were like in their approaching their prime or in their prime or whatever but would get back draft a bunch of draft picks and then a mid-tier player but because of their system and how they play you don't really have to be that good or great to win like we've seen it like Kansas City won with you know Chris Jones being their best defensive player he's great but they didn't have really either a lot of other household names at the time you got Nick Bolton he's good but you know when they were doing one of those Super Bowls they didn't have too many they had the honey badger one year but they didn't have a lot of it was just players they were drafting the young players you know I mean so I was they took I feel like they they kind of took a page out of New England's book when they did that you know so I was completely surprised but also I wasn't you know I mean because I'm just like you know McDuffie lined up in the slot lined up on the left side side I've seen him line up in line like McDuffie did a lot and so I was and but also they they kind of you know probably realized the payday that they would have to give him when it was that time. Because it's only in his third year I believe or in his third or fourth year. So it was coming that point and then they would have had to pay him top dollar.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah you know and Kansas City is showing that they did uh did uh the Rams did the Rams pay him for the game extension okay that's one and I think that's what Kansas City was not trying to do.

SPEAKER_07

Because they knew they had to give him an extension he was up for an extension obviously I mean bro that's kind of crazy that Kansas City didn't want to do it then on because you know what I've noticed bro because Kansas City drafted you didn't they do but I one thing I've noticed and one thing that that New England did also another is they pay more their offensive players and they keep draft they just and they draft pretty much only defensive players and a couple wide receivers. Only person that's that's been there the last three four years on that defense is still there I think is two players that's Nick Bolton and Chris Jones. You know what I'm saying? Because when you have a player like Chris Jones you don't regard this that's harder they know that that's hard to replace it's easier to replace a cornerback than it is a dominant force in that middle like Chris Jones is. So they're like we and we'll give up fucking you know McDuffie but we're not giving up fucking Nick Bolton because the linebacker is the same thing having a big a good middle linebacker that can that's like the quarterback of the defense is big. So that's why they kept they they and it I think it ultimately came down to paying because they're gonna pay Nick Bolton they already paid Nick Bolton but it came down to you know what I'm saying Nick Bolton or McDuffie because he's gonna have to get paid again Nick Bolton is and I think they they chose the younger route and going draftees and I don't know who they drafted as far as defense this year but I'm pretty sure he probably picked up a couple cornerbacks in the draft knowing Kansas City in their consistency. And that's what New England did they pay Tom Brady you take a little pay cut but they go sign players like Randy Moss or Julian Edelman or fucking or Wes Welker or shit like that. But the defense I remember they traded fucking um one of their best fucking Jeremy best linebackers at the time in the NFL traded him away in the middle of his prime they've traded away a lot of great defenders that they've had in the middle of their tie or um um uh fucking Richard or not Richard Seymour but it was another uh yeah it was Richard Seymour traded him um in his butt yeah so um I think the Rams wanted they they picked up two solid defensive players the one thing that held them back last year was the only thing really that held them back was their defense that was the only question mark yeah there was that secondary and getting pressure on the quarterback because you know if you can't get pressure on a quarterback that puts more stress on that secondary especially when they're already not good so then you picked up Trent McDuffie and then you picked up a player who could put pressure on the Rams as long as they can keep Stafford up healthy um the Rams are probably it's gonna be interesting to see that those games against the 49ers. I think those are going to be fucking great games I think Seattle lost a lot this year in the offseason they'll I think they'll still be relevant. I think they'll still be um good Seahawks yeah but I just I don't I think 49ers and Rams are the best two teams going into the season this year.

SPEAKER_05

Picking up Mike Evans okay re-signing fucking Trent Williams you got Nick or you got Joey or yeah uh Nick Bolsa coming back who tore his ACO last year he's coming back this year um and I'm pretty sure Nick drafted fucking who they draft another I can't remember they drafted um in a draft but it was another wide receiver I believe um I'm pulling up their shirt now because I look good I I I I am interested to see how they were looking how they're looking this year because I know that they were a bit banged up in the end of the year last year because bro who's the because I know there's a dude who I'm not thinking of on on defense no not Brandon I on on defense that I can't think of that was hurt for a good amount of the year last year but he missed the um Bolsa no uh no Fred Warner oh Warner missed he missed a couple games did he miss the playoffs though no he came back I might be thinking of um uh I might be thinking I I might be thinking of the offensive line in trouble oh yeah did he did he miss time did he miss the playoffs?

SPEAKER_07

I don't know if he missed the playoffs he missed some time last year he's been missing time last year but he's also fucking 37 38 which is crazy for a tackle he'd still be that good in the NFL getting that making that money you know I mean like he's been playing for 49ers I don't I think he got drafted by the 49ers didn't he's been playing for them forever.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah bro for fucking Fred Fred Warner was also another one that only played six games last year.

SPEAKER_07

Yep so I mean yeah I mean those would be classics those would be how they were this year. Because both 49ers and Rams games were good.

SPEAKER_05

I remember the one the Rams was they damn near almost had it they were they also Christian Kirk picture so Christian Kirk and then um I mean Chip we'll see if I mean McCaffrey looked good as hell he looked really good last year again still put up he hasn't put up two healthy years in a while still put up 1200 yards last year so um he played good last year the year before he didn't shake I think he missed the first five games too I think he only he only played almost every five six maybe nine he played almost every game I thought that was the year before that he he missed every fucking game except for two and I drafted him first I thought I was mad as fuck bro I had a first pick in fantasy and I took McCaffrey because of a year he had before that which was a year y'all lost the 49ers in the playoffs.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah he went off that year he had like 16 17 fucking touchdowns and I'm like oh yeah I'm going McCaffrey I had the first pick his son of a bitch when he played two three games two touchdowns against us fuck you kill me bro my god I should have gone to him all season dude I did just to wait to see if he came back yeah I did he came back against the Bills and was playing good and then fucked this an EO and I don't think he played again after that yeah yeah because the 49ers and made a playoffs in here IUK was going off bro fuck that I was just looking at that fucking lines niners box score fucking IUK bro what's going on with him he says I forgot who he said that he who he would who he's trying to sign to who did he say I I don't know oh commanders I haven't really heard anything that's what he said he he made a post recently commanders yeah he said if if if if 49ers release me today I'll sign with the fork with the commanders tomorrow oh yeah I am seeing that literally what he has said it six days ago said if the forty if the 49ers release then he'd sign with the commanders tomorrow just reports dumb reports bro I watched the video and he had a beta little video okay which that I think that would that'd be if he signed there that'd be big that'd be him and fucking and whatchamacallit JD JD and my boy honestly scary Terry Jake Daniels I'm talking about on receivers just having all having Jake Daniels having two weapons on that fucking you know what I'm saying he got like you got forgot they had Debo too yeah no Debo's a free agent yeah they didn't he didn't they didn't resign him you think they will no no he's done he's done dude somebody may re sign him somebody he might get a chance next year or something like that but he was fucking it's just the way 49ers used him and that's the way that made him so look so good exactly because he's not the best catching he's not the best route running he's not really that good of a receiver he was just fucking getting the ball from the backfield and doing wires reverses and shit like that. He's good after the catch and after the run because he's strong he you know what I'm saying like but he's not a receiver that you can just throw the ball to 10 12 times a game yeah he's not that guy you know I mean so you know maybe because you know they're still in the fucking in the training camps right now about to end or about to go into fucking you know uh I can't remember what it's called before the preseason.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah no or actually OTAs yeah yeah but yeah no OTAs started uh the beginning of June then it's training camp and then it's fucking I can't remember what it is um some wait some pre wait wait wait just before preseason like shit yeah so it's yeah it's like shit it's like really walkthroughs but yeah okay you know if somebody gets hurt during the preseason or some shit like that then you know he might get a call there's quite a few you know good players as free agents honestly had a list the other day I looked at it I was kind of surprised so there's still free agents but um I mean there's definitely still gonna be some moves to be made but then these next two three to a month um I mean we got about what like two months for season like I mean two and a half or it's probably like nine or something maybe like three.

SPEAKER_07

We got two months until starting the regular season you got a month until preseason okay so okay so so we are we down to two months for regular season? Yeah month until preseason I feel like I feel like it was like just yesterday it was when technically today's the first of July I mean no it is it is the first now and the first week of preseason is like August 8th and like it's the fucking dude I feel like we were just saying a few days ago a hundred days until we're just counting down for a hundred now it's 30 fucking 62 63 I mean if you want to be technical it's fucking 38 days we we being technical right I mean like it's 38 39 days until the first kick off of and honestly if you mean if you really want to be you know technical again if we come college that starts two weeks before or a week before the NFL season does. So college football you know I'm saying that's usually August 25th 26th type shit because they have a game yeah they have a game for Labor Day and shit like that. So I mean yeah we're approaching a little over a month and a half until we have real like meaningful football because you know every game in college football counts. So and a lot of times week one it's a lot of good games that Labor Day weekend there's a lot of this usually you know top 10 we had the we had the Ohio State Texas game week one last year.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah no so yeah there's usually you there's before that you had on Labor Day it was is fucking Labor Day was you had we had double we had fucking Notre Dame and Miami play against each other.

SPEAKER_07

Remember that was a controversy I do remember because Notre Dame beat Miami but Miami ended up getting into the fucking and Notre Dame didn't and then I can't remember who played earlier that day but that whole weekend we had a couple jam pack uh ranking games so that's what I'm saying we really got you know a month and a half until like I said meaningful football um begins so you know what I'm saying uh kind of moving forward with that I mean yeah I'm excited um for sure like I can't you know me I've been fucking talking about football for you know since the goddamn end of the Super Bowl especially you know that hunger inside you know when your team don't play good you're just ready to scratch the rest of the season right like you just you like you know what I'm done with this season fuck that I'm trying to move forward you know we just know right off rip like you know this season's not going how we thought it was after that Chiefs lost for me this last season for the Lions dude after we lost the Chiefs it was like in in like uh nov Nov I mean it was still kind of early in the season I guess so it wasn't even like like super pivotal but I remember we bro we lost the j I mean I just I just I just remember it was like it was it was a spot where we needed to win I think I think it put us at like three and seven or something.

SPEAKER_05

It just it just put it it put us at a bad spot in the in the season or maybe I mean it wasn't maybe it wasn't I mean maybe it wasn't that one that we always we weren't that way into it but I j I I just I just remember that Chiefs game watching that dude and well no because I mean the Chiefs might have started or I can't I think the Chiefs might have started bad this year. Like 'cause like like what did they I think they I I did they started off bad.

SPEAKER_07

They started off oh and two they were one and three I think we played off one and two won a game and then lost a game they were one and three I think we played them like fifth or sixth week of the season.

SPEAKER_05

And I just like I I just just going into that I was just I was just hoping like I was just expecting a dub but um yeah that's kind of season kind of flipped a little bit after that and just after that we just we just lose lose win lose win lose win. But um just just kind of what you were talking about earlier. When your team's not oh say sorry my bad my bad bro you alright no yeah I mean I'm like because I didn't want to hit that part or hit a light so I think this is a little bit more like I mean just dude just what you're saying earlier man when your team's not not playing up to the standards that you know they can um uh yeah you just kind of want to scrap that season a little bit and looking forward to what they can do um to I mean yeah just to better the team um and ultimately fix uh fix some of the pro like I mean just just fix fix problems that were going on in the previous years and I mean lions have made a few changes um and really ultimately I feel like with football dude it's just fucking injuries and health wise if we like um yeah because I mean you I mean you can make as many moves as you want have as like I mean like just have as many good players on on the team as you want but um like like those players dude like if you get players that are going down um people are gonna people are gonna uh like like people are gonna affect to that you know what I mean so like people aren't gonna like I don't know like I mean I was uh like I'm just I'm just talking about fucking lions at this point for real. That's just what I'm thinking about. Just seeing all of our people in the defense go down and just fucking piece by piece by piece it was just like I feel like I was like like I feel like I was just watching us play worse week by week by week just with more people going down. Um but I'm gonna catch like a few more trade a few more of these trades last few minutes before we get we get through with this episode um catch one for your boys um talk about Dexter to Sensi um got three minutes to talk about what what do you think what do you think that um he's yeah he's on the defensive line right yeah that's what I thought but um yeah I mean what do you think that'll what do you think that'll do for your uh help the defense because I mean you guys also you guys also traded Trey Hendrickson as well so yeah he well he's he was an unrestricted free agent so he signed with Baltimore but um I think it was a a a good uh trade in the sense of because it was dire um you know it's getting to the point where it's like are we wasting you know these general generational talent players like they're they're prime and Burrow and Chase.

SPEAKER_07

Because you know it's not a lot of times you get a quarterback um as good as Burrow or a receiver as good as Chase. So the fact that you got both of those especially with the chemistry they have like correct and so um they know that the the time is now to cash in. And Cincinnati traditionally doesn't trade uh high draft picks at all and they don't spend money. And that's two things that you know we did this year. We traded it away the tenth pick. We got Dexter Lawrence um which I was happy with because we need to win now he's an established player he's one of the better defensive tackles in the NFL, one of top ten D linemen in the NFL. Um, so he's gonna make an impact right away. We don't have time to draft a player and and hope that they're gonna make an impact. That was Shamar Stewart last year, didn't pay off. Then, you know, granted, you know, he's young, things have changed, but he didn't pay off. We we spent the 14th pick on him last year and it didn't work. Um, and also I like what we drafted and catches how I like the other linebackers or linemen that we drafted. I like both picks that we drafted. Um, and I think Darius Knight or Demetrius Knight is gonna continue what he did last year, um, which is one of the bright sides of the defense, which is terrible. But he played really good as a rookie. So I think he's gonna continue. And then getting Jonathan Allen, which is another established good veteran defensive tackle. We got two in the middle. Um, and he picked up Mafia Boye, um from Seattle, who who played really good last year, 26, 27 years old for a good contract, uh, edge rusher, which we needed. They did that, and then we picked up a safety. Um, and Brian Cook, who was you know a big contributor to Kansas City's success defensively when they won the Super Bowl and when they lost. I mean, Brian Cook was a was a good cornerback, and you know, Geno fucking Stone missed 23 or 24 fucking missed tackles last year. Brian Cook has missed eight in the last three years. So those numbers right there make better sense to me. 23 in one year versus eight in three years. I'll take that. So you know what I'm saying? I got uh much of a runway. Just don't even worry about the timer, just go until you're done. Okay. But uh, yeah, so um I'm I'm happy with what we did, honestly, bro. I really am not even being biased, not even just because I'm a fan, but if you know me, I'd be pissed.

SPEAKER_05

You know, if I was if we didn't do that shit this year, I'd have been highly upset, especially if I I mean if Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase were on the Lions, then I'd definitely be pissed if the Lions weren't trading to win now, for sure. So I mean I definitely know like I I definitely understand the position that you're in, and you're you're a Bengals fan, and you have you have one of the best quarterbacks and you have one of the best receivers, and they're best. And they and they both came from the same colour, like in the best. It definitely is a lethal duo, and uh also having T. Higgins as well. Yeah, I mean you you definitely you need it. That's all we needed, bro. We just need a topic.

SPEAKER_07

We don't even need a top 10 defense, right? I'm not even asking, I'm not even, you know what I'm saying? Like, we don't even need a top if we if we if we do get a top 10 defense, then that's an issue for the rest of the league. But all we need is a mid-tier defense, you know, because that's a defense that got when we went to the Super Bowl and lost, we had a top, or they're ranked 16th in the league, and then top six or seven in the playoffs. They didn't play that good, but they didn't play bad. Right? And we got to the Super Bowl and lost on the last drive to a fucking sack by Aaron Donald. So, you know what I'm saying? If that defense can return, if we can get top 15 to top 10, then I'm not working because I know the offense. I'm not, you know, in Burrow's history, healthy, whatever, you know what I'm saying? But he hasn't had back-to-back injured seasons ever. So as history shows he's due for a healthy season if he's healthy offense. I'm not, we're gonna put up 35 points a game just offensively every fucking time. Higgins, Burrow, Gasecki, Brown, you know what I mean. Like, we're I'm not offense. You know what I mean? If we can get a consistent defense, it's a wrap. That is my opinion, dude. If that defense is nasty, if they're getting turnovers, if we get pressure on that quarterback, it's a wrap. Right. And imagine us playing from the lead, you know what I mean, from a from above, which we're not used to. We used to go back and forth for 10-point lead with that defense and never safe. But with this new improved defense, if we can get out to them leads, it's a wrap. You know what I mean? We cruising, it's cruise control. I mean, I and we got the second easiest schedule in the league. I mean, from what they say, from the rankings and from last year, and we got the second easiest schedule.

SPEAKER_05

So if you guys don't make the playoffs.

SPEAKER_07

Well then then it's you got it's it's time to, damn, we're rebuilt. You gotta get rid of the coach, and you gotta, you gotta, I don't know, Joe Burrow, it would it would depend on Joe. Obviously, you're not gonna trade Joe Burrow, you know what I'm saying, unless he gets hurt again. If he gets, you know, then at that point you gotta be like, okay, it's 28, 29. We may have to think about getting, you know, I mean, trading or drafting somebody this year, quarterback-wise. But if he stays healthy and we lose it and we don't make the playoffs, then I don't know where to go from there. But I don't see that being an issue. Because the last time he was healthy, he threw for 48 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And we didn't make the playoffs because our defense gave up 30 points a game. So we we averaged 34 and our defense gave up 30. So if we can give up 20 points a game, 22, and score 30, 32, we're good.

SPEAKER_05

Bro, fucking even even that high is fucking crazy. But they were bad. Yeah, I mean, we still got a lot to catch up on. Next episode for sure. We'll definitely dive into some more of that NFL free agency and trades.

SPEAKER_07

And a little bit more of the NBA draft and just predictions, because by next week a lot of the uh topper free agents will have been moved and signed. We'll definitely have some more trades. LeBron will probably be somewhere at this point next week. LeBron will definitely be signed at some place, and then Dern will probably be moved or not moved, or you know, it'll be some big names for sure. Um some stuff's probably gonna happen in the NFL as well.

SPEAKER_05

So we'll definitely have we'll definitely have some more to talk about next week for sure. But uh yeah, I mean for now, D DL.

SPEAKER_07

Thanks for tuning in. Yes, sir.
