SPEAKER_02Yo yo yo ZBD back again.
SPEAKER_03Season three or season two episode three. Um back at it with some wrapping up some of the NFL trade talk and then we're gonna get into some predictions for the 2026-27 season. Um very very highly anticipated. Um got some got some people looking forward to it very much. Um more than others, but I'm definitely definitely looking forward to it a lot. But I know my dom my boy Dom is my boy Dom is amped. Get into the get into the bangles or be talking about schedules a little bit today, or yeah, if we can.
SPEAKER_04Maybe yeah, we'll yeah, I mean we'll see. No, we can't we'll see if we got some time. Yeah, we can fucking squeeze it now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think we got a few more, a few trades left on the list that we that we wanted to talk about. Um and then yeah, really just dive into um divisions.
SPEAKER_02Divisional play, um, who we think I mean who we think is gonna come out on those matchups during the regular season. Um, all of them playing twice a year.
SPEAKER_03Um divisional matchups are always are always the ones that um I feel like they're always the ones that yeah, the ones that come at the end of the season. Uh beginning and end, yeah. Beginning and end.
SPEAKER_04Typically you got like uh a lot of times most teams are playing divisional foes the first week of the season. Like, because what is it? Oh, Dallas is playing Giants? Or Philly playing Giants? One of the two. And I remember last year Philly and uh Dallas were the opening game of the season.
SPEAKER_03And I think it's um San Fran LA, I think is the opening game this this year, so yeah. Big game for for both. Um for sure. Um yeah, I mean just see see who can come out on uh or just see our predictions on who we think is gonna come out on those, um come on on top of those divisions, but um wrap up these these trades top, we these trades, just got a few left. Um start at the top with Dan Jones re-signing to the Colts. Um I mean, I mean I personally I like that when um because I think it was I think last year was Jones' first, like it was his first full year on the Colts, right? First year in general on the Colts, yeah. Yeah, fullest year, first year, and he was I mean, uh granted the um the front of their schedule was a little bit easier than the back half of their schedule, what everybody was saying. Um they they looked really nice though with Dan Jones, Jonathan, uh Jonathan Taylor in the backfield. Um they still had some close games, like they weren't they weren't beating teams-handedly, but um I still had to. Yeah, no, yeah, they weren't. I think that was the theme that stood out to me the most. Yeah, it was what everybody was excited about. Um, and so with Dan Jones re-signing, I mean I'm excited to see what the Colts can do in their division. Because I mean, I feel like every year it's a little bit of a toss-up between Jags, Titans, and Texans. Um, all of them relatively around 500. Um the Texans, like the Texans with probably the best defense in the league, should should show over that 500. Um potentially a little bit healthier offense this year. Maybe the Titans, Titans have a bit better of a year. Um, see how the Jags do after making the playoffs. But um, I mean, I think the Colts, Colts re-signing Jones as long as he can stay healthy. Um, I think that keeps him pretty competitive in this division for sure.
SPEAKER_04I don't know who they uh got for like backup quarterback because I know Anthony Richardson was in limbo. Oh, yeah, with the organization. Um maybe Riley Leonard is still on that. Yep, I was gonna say. Okay, so maybe that's their but he got hurt in week, what, nine, ten, I believe. He got hurt later on in the season. Like they were like six and three, six and four around the time he got hurt, and they were kind of on the uh on the decline a little bit when he did get hurt. He's they were kind of falling back to earth. But um, I think it'll be that's gonna be crucial. Um because I mean Jonathan Taylor is turning what 28, 29. Is he about that age? I think yeah, I think he is about that old. Right, so he's probably he's like mid-20s.
SPEAKER_03Okay, and so I mean, and they don't really have they uh they re-signed another um didn't they re-sign a big receiver too? Or am I tripping? I feel like they had a receiver that they um oh no, yeah, I mean they 27.
SPEAKER_04That was gonna say they traded for Pitt. They traded Pittman or they traded him. He's playing for fucking payment to the or uh oh um no Pittman was already on the Colts. Oh, yeah, okay, so he came back to yeah, he brought he came back to the Colts, but Oh where was he at last season? The Colts. Oh sorry, Steelers. Oh, the Steelers, okay, okay. Well that says yeah, oh Pitts, yeah, Pittman to Sisterman to the Steelers. That's my fault. I wrote that. Uh yeah, so the Steelers picked up um Pittman, so they lost a receiver, but he was inconsistent. I mean, he's kind of been inconsistent his whole career. Um that's why they let him go, and they got Alec Pierce. I think that's another reason why they kind of uh let him go there, and then they have you know Tyler Warren, who was uh a surprise for them coming out of that tight end spot last year. He was probably a second or third best tight end as a rush. He was probably yeah, it was one of their better offensive plays. Yeah, he was, yeah, for sure. Um so I don't know, and then I mean obviously the defense isn't bad, but I just you know, with an Achilles two at that age, um that's always tricky. Yeah, it's always tricky. You don't want to rush that process back. Um and so I I don't know if the code it would it was I mean it's it is a good signing for them, but you know, you don't know what he's gonna be like after that Achilles, but I get it because they also kind of had no choice, right? I've I feel that they're probably gonna draft a quarterback next year. I mean they probably didn't like the quarterback class this year.
SPEAKER_03It's unfortunate that uh at some point you gotta look for that. It's really unfortunate that things didn't work out the way they wanted to with Anthony Richardson, dude, because he was I don't know why they fucking took that pick in the first place.
SPEAKER_04I don't know what they saw in him, in my opinion. I mean, I mean he's he was okay, but to take him in the first round. Took him at like, what was it, like number three, wasn't it? Some yeah, some silly ass shit, dude. I was like, bro, at that point, you might as well just fucking sign some old guy in free agency again. I get it, they got him because one of the reasons because they they had fucking Matt Ryan come over there uh later on in his career, and then before that, can't remember who they had, and they actually made the playoffs um with him. Maybe I think it's Phillip Rivers. Yeah, I think it was Phillip Rivers. Yeah, he went to the coach. Yep, yeah, that's right, yep. And so they made the playoffs, and then they got uh Matt Ryan and that didn't work out, and they tried Carson Wentz, that didn't work out after Andrew Luck uh kind of surprisingly retired. So I get that they were just like kind of feeling the need to take a chance and just get a quarterback, but at that point or at that time, I'm just like, you know, I'm taking one of the other guys. You know what I'm saying? Like I just, and I honestly I'm interested. I'm about to go, I'm checking right now.
SPEAKER_03Uh I mean well, at that like maybe Anthony, bro, I don't think Anthony Richardson's done yet, dude. I think he's still got some football left to be played. Um because I mean he's still not even is he even 25 like he's not he's not very old at all, bro. And he I mean, because I I can't even remember him a ton in college, um, but he was at Florida Florida State. Florida. Oh, Florida. Florida.
SPEAKER_00Um I mean, yeah, he's still 24. See, I club. I'm just looking now, dude. Being born, bro, 2002.
SPEAKER_03I mean, bro, six feet. Nobody in that c he's got he's got potential, bro. He's he's already been in the league for three years and he's just 24. Like, dude, he's just gonna because I feel like he hasn't really had any health or yeah, last last season he was pretty healthy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, bro. I'm looking at this class. He did throw a lot of picks. Yeah, I'm looking at that class, and I'm like, I'm just gonna take a pass and get a defensive player. Yeah. Because that was a class with uh only had one healthy. With Bryce Young and fucking CJ Shroud, which were the only two decent quarterbacks in that fucking draft class. I would have just did they go one and two? Yeah, they yeah, yeah. They went one and two and then Anthony Richardson went fourth. So who went third? Third was Will Anderson from Alabama. So yeah, I'm yeah, at that point, bro, I'm not gonna lie, I'm fucking just taking a defensive player, a lineman, or something other than a quarterback. Like, you can't never go wrong with taking a lineman.
SPEAKER_03They wanted to gamble, man. It was a it was a younger, it was a young gamble. It was a young quarterback.
SPEAKER_04He didn't show enough in college. He didn't show me enough to where I'm by, yes, I'm gonna take him at the number four pick. Yeah, with the number four. Number four, that's covenant. That's not like, you know what I'm saying? That's year, that's lottery, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, he's he he's still damn near, he's still through fucking four, five, six, seven, eight, and he threw not he threw 17 touchdowns and nine picks. In Florida? Yeah, in college.
SPEAKER_04That's not good enough for me. He turned the ball over almost 10 times. Throwing the ball, you can't throw it, he's not that good of a thrower.
SPEAKER_03I mean, and his team was six and six and six. Yeah, Florida wasn't good, right? They haven't been good. No, yeah, they they were six and six, and he threw for nine interceptions and seventeen touchdowns. So, yeah, I don't know. That's not that's a bit skeptical by the Colts.
SPEAKER_04I mean, they saw something, but even Lamar Jackson, no disrespect to Lamar, but even Lamar coming out of college, people were, you know, obviously saying crazy shit like let's make him receiver or running back because he can't throw the ball. And he can throw the ball now. He's he's made a believer out of me. I was not a believer of his throwing ability coming in, but after the year where he threw, and granted his throwing touchdowns are a little different than the average quarterback because of his scrambling ability, but the fact that he threw 45 touchdowns compared to four interceptions was phenomenal to me. I was like, that ratio is ridiculous. Like he didn't turn the ball, he didn't turn the ball over for like nine, ten straight games. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I feel like at that point, yeah. I mean, if you're putting 45 touchdowns next to four interceptions, bro, it doesn't really matter how you're getting the interceptions. You're fucking, yeah, you're doing your thing. Right, and that's the thing, exactly.
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, bro. Uh that's yeah, that's it right there. And I don't see Anthony Richardson. I was wrong about Lamar, but I don't see him Lamar showed Anthony Richardson ever putting up. You know, he's a raw athlete. He's a great athlete, right? He is. He is. But he's I don't know if he's fit for the quarterback position.
SPEAKER_03Especially in, yeah, especially in the NFL. It's a lot of yeah, no, it's definitely a lot of pressure back there. I mean, it's it's I mean, it's supposed to supposedly the hardest position on the football field. And I mean, um yeah, I mean, no, it definitely is, bro. You got because you got that whole defensive line fucking trying to come at you, bro. That's your that's our only job is to fucking come at the quarterback, quarterback and running back. Yeah. You got all those fucking mainly quarterback, bro. Yeah, you got all those 250, 6'6 plus D linemen all trying to get at you, bro, and you just gotta get the gotta get the ball out of your hands.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Within three seconds pretty much.
SPEAKER_04Two to three seconds. Yeah. Every time. Um you know, every time is the timer in your head. Yeah. 1100, 21,000, 3100 ball out of your hands. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's I mean. Yeah. I mean, that's why you gotta that's why you gotta have fucking trust in your receivers, bro. It's why, yeah, trust, trust in your servers, solid receivers, solid play call. Yeah, for sure. But uh another big one over um over to Denver, Jalen Waddle. Um, you got some help out there for Bo Knicks. Um from uh Miami. Um yeah, I mean Miami hadn't really looked amazing the last two years or so, two inconsistencies, um Tyreek kind of being in and out and just not really showing his full potential. Um Tua. Yeah, well, I mean, but ty yeah, to a I mean Tyreek wasn't I mean, but I feel like Tyreek still wasn't showing his full potential. I mean, I mean I I I guess I guess you can put I guess you can put a lot of that on coaching and to a um, but um but butn't that an extraordinary city. But I'm glad Jalen Waddle got or Jalen Waddle got out of there and he's in a good system now with Bo. Um and um Sean or um I'm forgetting their head coach, Sean Payton, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I thought. Um Jalen Waddle, your boy, excited for that over there, B. Yeah, gonna be some touchdowns this year.
SPEAKER_05We're we are hoping, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05We're hoping that Bo performs as he did last year.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I mean I I think that he definitely will, dude. I was um I was pretty crushed when I heard that he was gonna be out for that game against the Patriots, because Bo verse um Bo verse fucking Drake man, I think, would have fed families, bro. That would have been a great game.
SPEAKER_04Definitely uh Well, it changed a lot of things. They could have they could have won a Super Bowl.
SPEAKER_03But I think I think just I think Bo being I think Bo being in that game. That would have would have put a I mean it would have put the pressure on New England to put some more points up, I think, as well.
SPEAKER_02Um I don't I I don't I mean Denver would have scored more than seven points if Bo Nix was in that game and New England would have scored more than ten, I think, because they would have because they would have felt that pressure.
SPEAKER_04Who knows? They might not have that defense yeah, the defense might have amped up more in those ears, knowing that they got a lead. Right? Because nothing's worse than playing against a a good defense when they got a lead. Well, I mean, okay, so I mean when they got that, they got but granted so if they if they if they got bone there, they're fucking they're all out.
SPEAKER_03I know Sean Paine is gonna be massive at that point. Put them back in there. Put them back in the AFC championship with Jalen Waddle on the team now, as well as Bo and Nick's got not getting hurt. Do you think they're getting to the Super Bowl?
SPEAKER_04Well, you gotta factor. Well, if I mean Lenny you gotta throw in AJ Brown if you're gonna do that. Which is a difference as well. He's more of a difference in Jalen Waddle, in my opinion. So what do you say? You just said throw Jalen Waddle in there. Jalen Waddle just got signed. So if you gonna throw Jalen Waddle in there, you gotta throw AJ Brown. Yeah, you have to. Like, it's only fair. You know, it'd be different if Jalen Waddle is already on the team and he was hurt, but he wasn't there. So if that's the case, you gotta throw AJ Brown on that team, too. You know, and AJ Brown makes the same amount of difference as a Waddle, if not maybe more.
SPEAKER_03He definitely does. I mean, I think I was gonna say, I think debatably he makes more.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then you add this to the mixture the fact that he's he's returning to a prior coach. Yeah, right? That a coach that he played for for years that he liked at his first team, yeah, that he liked, you know. Mike Vray, he's going back to Mike Vrabel. Mike Vrabel knows how to get him involved. He's what got him. Helped him get that payday to Philadelphia.
SPEAKER_03He got drafted to Tennessee. Yeah, yeah. So he got drafted to Vrabel. He was the first coach successful. Yeah. Yeah. So he's got some familiar faces back over there in New England. And he got a ring, so he's trying to come back, he's hungry, and get a ring, you know. I mean, New England just made the Super Bowl. He's uh switching divisions. So yeah, we'll meet we'll see if AJ can have some more luck over there. I mean, I mean, not not even more luck, but um I mean, continue to have some more than the same luck, really. Yeah. New England than he did in Philly. Um, everywhere he's winning. Yeah. I mean it won a Super Bowl in Tennessee, but they were good.
SPEAKER_04They had a number one record at one point. Yeah. One of those in in 2021 or two. No. Yes. 2021, I believe. They had the best record in the AFC. And Corey Brown or Corey Davis. And AJ Brown was a western. Oh, Ryan Tanna, here with the helm, and Derrick Henry. Derrick's runner for 2000 yards.
SPEAKER_03If you got AJ, AJ and Derek on the same team, dude, you just gotta have a quarterback that can get to it.
unknownThere we go.
SPEAKER_03Um going to our going to our next signing, though, um, from the Super Bowl winning team. Um, how dude, were you were you uh were you a little bit shocked when you saw that Kenneth Walker was going over to the Chiefs?
SPEAKER_04Not at all. Really? Kansas City is Kansas City is is done to do that. That's what they do. They you know, people want to play for them, people want to win, people want to fucking go to they want to play for Andy Reid, they want to play for Mahomes. They want a chance at winning.
SPEAKER_00You just won, dude.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you want to keep swinging though, but they Seattle wasn't trying to pay them the money that Kansas City would have paid him. Um so, but do I think that uh Seattle made a mistake? Not necessarily. I don't think Seattle necessarily made a mistake because Kenneth Walker has shown his whole career that he's not able to put up a 16 to 17 game season. He hasn't played one full, he hasn't.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um he's gonna get he's gonna he's gonna miss about you know four to six, seven games a year on a game. And he's getting older. Um and then early on, if Mahomes isn't uh ready to play, they're gonna lean on him a little bit more because you know Justin Fields is showing what Justin Fields is.
SPEAKER_03It's my second time, bro. Justin Fields does what he does, so I'm not really surprised. No, I forgot Justin Fields was over in um in Kansas City. And then he's a running back. Oh, do they still have uh Kareem Hunt over there? Kareem Hunt? I don't know. I know they Pacheco. Who is their other Um I feel like they had another dude after or no because I think it was just Pacheco and Hunt last year.
SPEAKER_04Some other guy. They always have some other guy every time.
SPEAKER_03They got Emmett Johnson. Is he playing last year? Yeah, I don't even know if he was. He'll become no no. I mean he was he was their he was a fifth round pick this year. They picked him up from Nebraska. Um and they got him listed as their two right now behind Kenneth Walker.
SPEAKER_04So he might get some run.
SPEAKER_03Um they got Maury DiCardo or De McCardo or DeMarco.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03No, Dee McCardo. Dean McCardo.
SPEAKER_04He played for Cardinals last year.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. He was on the Cardinals the last three years. So it just signed him.
SPEAKER_04Um it's usually by committee. But Kansas City, they run by committee. It'd be like, you know, running for 145 yards, one guy got 60, one guy got 58, another guy got 50.
SPEAKER_03If the number one's out, too. Like, especially if Kenneth if Walker's gonna be out for a game or two.
SPEAKER_04Even if they don't, I mean, you see how much if, you know, a year to two years ago at this point, coming out of that Super Bowl win against San Francisco, it's no way in hill that you would have thought that they were letting go of Pacheco. A lot of people thought Pacheco was their running back for the future.
SPEAKER_03But then you see him last year, and they really didn't. I feel like I mean, well, like he got hurt.
SPEAKER_04Well, he got hurt the year before that, and he lost a little bit of time or a little bit of those reps because of uh Kareem Hunt coming back and being effective in the red zone. Yeah. And then that kind of spilled into last year. Even when Pacheco came back healthy, Kareem Hunt was still getting a lot of those carries, and Pacheco just never got those carries back. Kareem Hunt ended up having more, even though he was healthy a lot last year. But he just didn't have the same productivity he did before. And Kansas City does that. They, I mean, I can't I don't remember who the main running back was. Maybe Jerry McKinnock. McKinnon was like their main running back um the first year that they lost, or not their main, but secondary in the first year when they when they beat uh Philadelphia. Because you know, they won back to back, they beat Philly and they beat beat San Francisco. So I can't even remember who their secondary running back was. Probably some you know random guy, but that's just how Kansas City has been doing it really since they lost Kareem Hunt back in 2018 with that whole fucking, you know, domestic shit. Yeah. And they had to release him. Ever since then, it's been really by committee. You know what I'm saying? Like they until Pacheco came and he was really the main consistent one for a year, a year and a half, and then he had an injury. But, you know, it's no giving that fucking, you know, Kenneth Walker, even though they spent that money on him, they've shown before that, you know, they spend those that money, they don't they don't mean shit. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03How much did they pay him?
SPEAKER_04Over how long? You know? I think it was three years, maybe 45 minutes. Let me see. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, I don't want to cut you off and fucking still pull that up, but I want to switch over um to my running backs a little bit. But Cam Scadaboo.
SPEAKER_06What about him?
SPEAKER_03Uh got a little bit of help over there. I mean, not even. Well, I was right, damn.
SPEAKER_04Right on the money. Three years for $45 million. Crazy. I don't know what they're pretty sure. It was right on yeah, guaranteed 28, fully guaranteed. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Scattaboo. Oh, he's gonna so I mean scataboo, Harbaugh, um, neighbors, dart. Um didn't they just sign somebody on on their defense too? I feel like they just picked up somebody big. Or did they or did they sign somebody or did they sell?
SPEAKER_04That's right. That's right.
SPEAKER_03Who did they get with that tenth pick? Let's see. I forgot I I didn't even think about that. I forgot they had that 10th pick, but um, I mean, we got on the list Harbaugh, Giants offensive linemen. Okay, so protect protecting that quarterback a little bit. Um, yeah, I mean, I I like that.
SPEAKER_04I got to ACL last year, I mean they've they gotta protect them. Yeah, no, I guess. But you gotta stop running so much too, though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, we saw Scatterboard. Because that breaks down a line. I mean, we saw Scatterboy and Dart Dart both get hurt last year, and neighbors with the AC the ACL, which is gonna be a little bit more unfortunate, but from what I've been hearing is Is he gonna be back for the start of this year? For the start of the year or no, he's not. I don't think so. That would be tough too, because he was one of my favorite like he was looking for his I think last year was his rookie year, yeah.
SPEAKER_04He he was having a really good year. Another thing is uh fucking um he's gone undergoing two surgeries on that right knee since last September. So that yeah, that took that what that means what that means is it wasn't responding the way they would have liked. Obviously the first time, or else they wouldn't have to go underneath to go again.
SPEAKER_03So um that would just that would demoralize me a little bit, bro. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_02If I got surgery on it and then was fucking two or a month two later, just fucking isn't getting any better, and they gotta go like dude, that would fucking Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Hopefully Malik can come back from that, man. I prayers uh prayers up to him, dude.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I definitely would think that Scott would be back uh before from what I'm reading, he'd be back before. Because they're talking about putting him on uh the the uh pub list was just physically unable to perform list, so he would be out automatically like the first, I think, four to six weeks of the season. That's still for neighbors. Oh neighbors, yeah. Okay. That was in September.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, I think it was like it was mid-week or it was mid-season. It was the second week of September. Was it that early? Yeah, September. I mean the starts or was it was was last season the start of his second year? Did he finish his rookie year? I'm pretty sure yeah. Okay. He was in his second year. Okay. I thought last year was his second year. He got drafted until I'm twenty-four. Okay. Okay, I thought last year was his first year and midway into the year.
SPEAKER_04He tore his ACL in a third game. That was the 28th of September.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, September. Tough dude. Um I mean I hope he can come back and get healthy because they got something they got something nice over there in New York today. Honestly, this is probably one of the better I mean, one of the better things they've had going over there for him just um I mean just offensively and coaching wise. I don't I mean, I don't know how their defense is looking. You know, I'm not offensively close. I mean, I just I mean, I mean I mean the fact that they lost Dexter Lawrence, how how big of a step back is that?
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean only time will tell, I think, with that, but they uh they were expecting the to lose him anyways. That's why they drafted Abdul Carter last year. I think I think that was their reasoning, right? Because you got Brian Burns on one side and you got Kevlon Thibodeau, and then you go draft fucking Abdul Carter. Yeah, there's no need for you to go get to bring back that Sir Lawrence at 27, 28 years old. They weren't planning on paying him anyway, so you know I I did I forgot they had Abdul Carter.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he's a he's a monster. It's a good time to go over to Mike Evans to the Niners. Finish up this um, that's the last person we got on the um free agency trade that happened this summer.
SPEAKER_02I just won't quit.
SPEAKER_03Over from um the box to the Niners, giving Brock Brock Purdy a little bit of help out there. Um taking some pressure off of the CNC.
SPEAKER_04What a showdown. Between them and the Rams pretty sure it's gonna be. Yeah, I mean, we we'll see a first game of the year. Actually, hearing reports from a source of mine. No, I'm kidding. But Aaron Donald may be interested in returning.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I mean I've been seeing that on the talk shows.
SPEAKER_04It's all in shape from what it was on social media. Aaron Donald and Moss Garrett on the same fucking line. Nobody is going against them. The linemen going against that, but man, one-on-one against those because you can't double team.
SPEAKER_03But all those quarterbacks are gonna be running for their damn light. Brock Purdy is gonna be fucking airing that bitch out to the sideline. McCaffrey Miles, those games. But unless you get stuck in the fucking backfield, I mean, I don't know, dude. That could be Sack City over there. I'm not gonna lie, bro.
SPEAKER_04What McGuffey too in the backfield from Kansas City, bro. Oh my god, dude. And then they get the ball, you got Adams and fucking Puka.
SPEAKER_03And you still got Kyrie Williamsfield, and you got Porum ain't been bad for them either. And you got Matt Stafford splitting the ball.
SPEAKER_04So it's like Rams are gonna be. I don't know. If you know what it might, bro, it might be a uh 2021 Super Bowl. It might be a bit crazy if the Rams. It could be Rams and Bengals again. Could be a rematch of that 2021 Super Bowl, bro. You hope so. Hey, I'm just saying, man, who had the bangles? Who picked the Bengals going in that year, bro? Going in Jamar Chase rookie year in Burrow's second year. Yeah. Coming off the ACL and who who picked the Bengals? No one picked the Bengals to go to the Super Bowl, bro. We fucking were seven and five at one point. Like, we finished the team. If we didn't beat Kansas City in L. We clinched the division in LA. That's what I'm saying, bro. That's I mean, yeah, that's been the main question. That's been the main question. But this time around, we gotta finish the job. You gotta go against some niggas again. We gotta finish the fucking job. You know what I'm saying? But it's gonna be a while for you, man. Mike Evans, but I'm late, like I say, ain't no guarantee, man, because that 49ers team, uh, if they got if they keep McCaffrey on his feet, uh Mike Evans over there, Ricky Piercell ain't bad. George Kittle coming back for another round. That defense ain't bad over there. Fred Warner's healthy.
SPEAKER_03They got a solid defense.
SPEAKER_04They got a good line. Trent Williams is back. Nick Bosa's back. Like, you know, that could be a fucking showdown. I'm excited for those games, specifically Rams and 49ers.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, we're gonna see a week one. And it's divisional. It's not gonna be. I think the second one's gonna be better.
SPEAKER_04It's not gonna be a little bit sloppy. You know, first week, you know, first couple weeks in the Philippines a little sloppy.
SPEAKER_03I think it's I think it's first game. I think it's first game in the season.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so I mean, it might be fucking 13 to 9. Or it might be 45 to 38, where no defense show up, but then end up being, you know, top five defenses at the end of the season. But I just know week one, it's hard to take that judgment into.
SPEAKER_03Because the fucking Niners and Rams are playing in Australia, actually. They're playing in Melbourne this year. Okay, week one, I think it's or yeah. Or so it's actually the second game. It's not Netflix. No, that's the first game. No, it's uh Patriots and Seahawks. One on one.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I mean first week, though. I'm not just saying like their second game.
SPEAKER_03Okay, yeah. Yeah, no, yeah. Patriots and Seahawks, yeah. Patriots and Seahawks open it up on Wednesday and then Pats might pop that open.
SPEAKER_04Pats might blow them out. You think so? They might. They might. I mean, you coming off an ass whooping from the Super Bowl or the New Hawks? Seattle, they lost some players. Their favorite? That's kind of crazy to me.
SPEAKER_03Saying smack that New England?
SPEAKER_04They could, bro. They coming in Mad off. They got HO.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Seattle has lost some players. They lost their best running back. They lost one of the best pass rushers. They lost a safety. They lost a linebacker. They lost a few players. New England did not. So, New England, and then that Super Bowl hangover is real. Um, so I could see Seattle definitely coming in there a little sluggish. Really, it's whoever comes on their A game. It'd be a blowout either way. I think whoever comes in on their A game because it's week one, the starters don't tend to play in a preseason for anybody these days, unless you're a rookie. So everybody's gonna be on fresh legs, tired legs, they're gonna be exhausted. No matter how much training camp and practice and walkthroughs and OTAs you do, it don't compare to a real game to game speed. So people are gonna be gassed, especially in Australia. Yeah, definitely with that fucking attention, like, bro. People are gonna be gassed. I was talking about the uh bad New England and Seattle. But um, even where they're gonna be gassy the way it goes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, with the Niners.
SPEAKER_04Because they ain't played, right? The Niners Rams game. Those starters ain't, you know, Sam Darnold, JSM not hitting the field come preseason. No, they not touching that field. And then the trait may might go on a throw.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't be three passes. I wouldn't pull them up. I wouldn't be surprised if those starters and uh all of them go over to Australia like two weeks before the game, though, dude. And then elevation and just actually get that easy.
SPEAKER_02And just get you get over the jet lag a little bit because it's a 20-hour flight over there. Like you literally gotta fly across the floor. Bullshit, to be honest, like I think, like I think Australia is one of the f like, I think it's the farthest place, like one of the farthest places that you can fly to from here.
SPEAKER_03Like I'm pretty sure from like Cali all the way to all the way to New South Wales is like one of the far like like like it's definitely one of the farther places, like like across the world, like just point A to point B that you're going to. Um and so they gotta they gotta sit on a plane for fucking 20 plus hours.
SPEAKER_02So that's gonna play into it.
SPEAKER_03They're going 14 hours ahead, which is also another huge thing. So I mean, yeah, I mean it'll be it'll be an interesting game. Um first time that everyb that anybody in the NFL has ever played a game in Australia of all the time.
SPEAKER_04They reaching out so NFL is reaching out, they're trying to get those international countries involved. Yeah, and I mean every time they went there, it's been a good turnout. They went to Germany last year, great turnout. They've been to Mexico City, great turnout. They've been to Brazil, great turnout. Rio Digital. Ireland. Yeah, they yeah, they went, yeah, that's what so I mean, everywhere they go, people come, right? I mean, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's yeah, everywhere that the NFL fucking plays at, it's sold out. Even if it's the two worst fucking teams in the NFL, it's sold out. You know, I'm just saying, you know, I don't, it I feel like it could be the fucking the goddamn uh hell, I don't even know who the worst two teams are. It was a fucking Browns and fucking uh Vikings, Raiders. Yeah, Raiders, yeah, Raiders, yeah, Raiders and fucking, yeah, some shit like that. They go play over in fucking Germany or some shit like that, Jets. That bitch's gonna be sold out. It's gonna be sold out. I promise you. The Jets are buns. Yeah, they are. Speaking of that, let's go ahead and uh move along. Since he's brought up the Jets, I guess we could start off AFC, and guess what's number one? They're fucking East. So we can just go right on. Or who we picking? Um got a new quarterback over there in Miami. I'm interested to see that. Malik Lewis. Very interesting. I hope I'm I'm pulling for him. I'm rooting for him. I'm hoping that he does good. He played well in Green Bay every time he got a chance to. He did. He did.
SPEAKER_03A lot of people were a lot of people were calling him, a lot of people were calling him the second best uh, or no, the best backup, best backup quarterback in the league when he was coming in for Jordan Love, and he was putting up big games.
SPEAKER_04Um performance he put against fucking Ravens before he got hurt. He was slinging that bitch on the ass. It's like this dude's getting off, bro. I'm like, what the fuck? Every game he's played since he's been in Green Bay, every time he stepped in for a game or two when he's needed to, they've won. And last year showed it when they were they needed to win for the playoffs. Like they needed those wins, and he came in and played his ass off.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, because he played some divisional games.
SPEAKER_04Well, he played against the fucking Bears.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. He played the second half. Jordan Love got hurt at the end of the first half, throwing the ball deep, got smacked, they concussion. He was out for the rest of the game. Willis came in and they lost. Green Bay lost. But he played good. And then that next week they played against the Ravens and they beat the Ravens. Okay. And you still got hurt against the Ravens.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And you still got HN over there in uh in Miami. So, I mean, that's no defense, but nice backfield. Yeah, new coach. You don't really So we'll see. Who did they get? I can't remember. Do you remember? Yeah. Um coach.
SPEAKER_02They don't really have not a not a great receiving core. Um probably pretty young. Um just trades Jalen Waddle.
SPEAKER_03I'm I don't know. I couldn't I I couldn't I couldn't tell you what they got for Jalen Waddle, but um brought some picks. Yeah. But um, I'm going to this next door the Jets, bro. Um because Jets, an investigation of Geno Smith for an incident, which he um which in which uh women accused him of battery last month is no longer active, and they go, oh, okay, so he got off that case then. So he still might find he might he still might get suspended. Yeah, he's so um the backup they got uh also they got the Clemson dude or yeah, they got the Clemson dude from um from this year. They picked him up, Kate Club. Oh, Club nickname. Yeah, that's their backup, but he'll find himself in the starter spot. Regardless if Geno gets suspended or not, he'll find himself in the starter spot. He'll definitely play at least a few games. But um, no, I mean they're they're chalked up in that one. But I mean I think it'll be a pretty good race between Buffalo and New England this year. Um last year New England won that division 14 and 3. Um Buffalo kind of choked it a bit. Um I can't even remember their I mean they split. They split New England one-on-one, didn't they? I'm pretty sure. But Buffalo, I I can't remember I can't I can't remember the other losses that Buffalo had, but just kind of just fell short of that division. Um you think I think Buffalo takes a step forward this year? Um I don't know. Didn't they just sign another didn't they sign a receiver this year? Yeah, uh DJ Moore.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, DJ Moore. I don't know, man. That's that's a toss-up. I'm not ready to I can't decide on our division yet. You gotta make your picks, man. That's what we're here. I'm just saying I don't know. Don't know yet. Holler at me in week three.
SPEAKER_03I mean just a toss-up, bro, because if you say it now, then you can fucking be like, I said that ship two weeks two months before the season starts.
SPEAKER_04I don't want to. I don't know. To me, they're they gotta show me. Um both of them have good quarterbacks, but they have question marks. I don't know if Buffalo's defense can hang out. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I mean, that's got the better defense on. You think New England?
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, New England has a better defense, okay, but uh I don't know which quarterback I trust more. I mean Josh Allen is known to turn the ball over like he did against Denver last year three times in a playoff and in that game, turn the ball over. They could have won that game, but he turned the ball over three times. Not putting it all on him, but if you're a quarterback, you turn the ball over three times. No matter how you slice it, that's it.
SPEAKER_03You're kind of putting yourself in the risk. Your team.
SPEAKER_04You're putting your team in jeopardy. Yeah, you're putting your team in a in a bad position. And then I don't know how much I trust Drake May as well. Right? That was his first playoff run. He kind of had a cake run.
SPEAKER_03CJ? Or no? No, no.
SPEAKER_04He played against Houston and Weather played a big portion of that. And I will tell you this, regardless, you know, we talked about it before, but with a team that's not. Grand NFL, and you got to get used to it, you gotta play whatever. But you know, a team that plays inside and don't, you put those weather games like that, the other team always has the advantage. Right off rip, they have the upper hand. Because they practice and playing that all the time. You don't matter how much you simulate or how much you fucking fake put snow or rain out. No, it's different from when it's the actual fucking weather.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, you know what I'm saying? So because you because you actually feel it in the air, you feel like you feel that cold air. You feel the snow or rain, whatever it is coming down. You feel it on the ground. I mean it I mean like at that point, like it's I mean it's a you feel it in your whole body at that point, dude.
SPEAKER_04Fucking and they had the first fucking fucking plant planting cold. That's right, right in the DLC.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I mean, and then yeah, when you go Houston and shit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then yeah, when then Bronco's gonna play. Yeah. So it's hard to give a judgment on on Drake May. Or New England.
SPEAKER_03But I mean, but the but the fact the fact that they had the easiest schedule that led to the fact that Drake made Dick May the easiest schedule in the playoffs. The fact that Drake made Dick come out of both of those playoff games, though.
SPEAKER_04It's like you you do gotta you do gotta give anything. I give a defense credit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'd give credit to. Not just because the defense turned the ball, turned uh or yeah, they turned fucking I guess you could sit them over two or three times. Then they turned over fucking CJ Stroud four or five. I think I think four times, I think three fumbles for CJ Stroud in the pick. So that defense is like really good.
SPEAKER_03He had like three picks in the first half that game that game. I think it was two or three fumbles. Or four, if I'm not mistaken. He had a lot of picks too.
SPEAKER_04I remember two picks and four fumbles, I think.
SPEAKER_03Or three, maybe two. I feel like I remember him throwing the ball away a lot that game.
SPEAKER_01But uh, we don't touch, yeah, we kind of skipped down a little bit talking about them.
SPEAKER_05But um, four turnovers all four interceptions.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's what I'm like.
SPEAKER_04Damn for you. Okay, pretty much. I think two or three of those were tips, though. I don't yeah. There's a couple that were tipped like where. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, the weather was yeah, like you know, like it's no excuse. But you know, New England's used to play in that shit. And it was, I remember that shit. It was fucking like negative, it was like negative seven real field with that game. I mean, New England practicing that shit all week.
SPEAKER_05Five turnovers total. They had a fumble from Trout.
SPEAKER_03Oh, their running back, yeah. Okay, yeah. Yeah, and I want to say three of those interceptions were in the first half. So that game at halftime just didn't look like Houston had anything for them at all. Which is, I mean, granted, I mean, what you were saying, you gotta give um New England's defense their flowers. I mean, they kind of played them out of that game in the first half. Which is, I mean, which is impressive in the fact that they didn't play for um what, like two or three weeks because they had that first round bye. So they didn't play for that long. Um and Drake May was still able to go out there and put some numbers up on that Houston defense, which was a score, I think, was 23 to 7.
SPEAKER_04May turned the ball over three times. He had a pick in two fumbles. So that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00He didn't play good. I mean, it's not yeah, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04I mean, that defense is what got him there. I mean, but I mean, even in that fucking Broncos game, he didn't play good.
SPEAKER_02He also had to go up against the best defense in the league. Like the best defense in the league potentially going up against against Houston. Which is like, bro, that's not like yeah, so it's fine. Yeah, but what did he play like that against the Broncos either?
SPEAKER_04I mean, they were losing at halftime, bro.
SPEAKER_03Did Jared Skinham? Yeah. What are you talking about? Are you fucking kidding me? Would you say they're a top five defense this year? Who? The Broncos. Well, top five, top ten, yes. So so if his first two games. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But no, I mean so it's New England, bro.
SPEAKER_03I know I know it's playoffs. I know at that point you gotta go up against the best of the best, and there's no and and and and there's no excuses. But I'm saying his first two playoff games, he went up against two and his defense.
SPEAKER_02He went up against the number one game. He went up against the number one defense and a number a top five. No them out. Maybe a top three.
SPEAKER_04They're number two. Houston, Seattle's number one last year. Houston was a total defense, yeah. But it got bailed out because but I'm not saying it. It happens. It happens to good quarterbacks early on in their career sometimes. Tom Brady got bailed out because of his defense. He didn't play good in those Super Bowls. Those first three Super Bowls, he did not play that good. He had fucking Hall of Famers scattered across that defense. Rodney Harrisons of the world, the fucking Ty Warren's, the Ty Laws, the fucking Vince Wilforce, the all that, bro. The fucking Teddy Bruskies, the Mike Vrabels, you know what I'm saying? Like, he had those players on his defense. But, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's it happens, right? You're not like he's early. But I'm just, I mean, he's young, so I'm just saying, like, I'm just saying obviously, yes, he's young, yes, he can come back from it. But you know what I'm saying? You know, we've seen other quarterbacks in their second year, first time in playoffs, play much better. Mahomes is one of them. Yeah. I mean, I can hate to compare him to, you know what I'm saying, but he's gonna start to get those compared, draw those comparisons if he keeps at this success, right? Say if New England goes to the Super Bowl and wins this year. He's gonna start getting those comparisons to Mahomes. You know what I'm saying? They're gonna put him over Allen, Burrow, Jackson, all those guys because he has a rank.
SPEAKER_02Just because he's been there with Staffords.
SPEAKER_04Stafford, he's gonna be compared with Stafford, right? He's been there to you, he's gonna be up there with Stafford, Mahomes, and shit like that. Those because those only quarterbacks right now that's one, and Jalen Hurts, but people don't people don't put Jalen Hurts up there with those type of guys. But um, so yeah, if it's only fair, you know, if he at some point you're gonna have to get those criticisms, you're just it's only gonna be he can't get those passes. So um, but everyone's different. You know, he had the benefit of having a good defense and a good coach and not having Bo Nick's there.
SPEAKER_05Ultimately, in my opinion, I just the Broncos are ranked in like the top five in a lot of these defense? Yeah, from Fox and the SPN.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah, they got a good defense. I'll see. That's what I said. Five top five, top ten.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04They're a good defense. But they're a bit small. That's one if you want to think, I mean, and that's why it has nothing to do with anything, but they're undersized. They don't you look at their bit their defense, they don't have a 330-pound fucking defensive lineman in the middle stopping shit. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? They got their line, their defensive linemen be like 220, 250. I mean, you're saying like for a normal, bigger defensive lineman, they're in a 300 range in pounds.
SPEAKER_05Says they only allowed 91 yards a game rushing.
SPEAKER_04But they're fast. That's what I'm saying. They they give they don't have size, but they have speed. Yeah. Right? So where they lack at it in that's that physicality, and because Denver's defense is that isn't that most important.
SPEAKER_03They can get you down if they can catch you, bro. If they can catch you, bro, it doesn't really matter how fucking big you are. Okay, I'll be able to get the biggest. But the thing is, I feel like that's Buffalo. I feel like at that point, fucking speed kind of fucking overtakes um overtakes power at that point.
SPEAKER_04It depends. It depends on how you play it. Yeah, how you play when you need it. Yeah, because when you get down to that red, if it's a red zone type of game, power, I'm gonna take power. Right? If you want if it's one of those games where speed and you can always catch that motherfucker, bro. But power. I mean, but you know some games where it's like the team who play, who's who does the best in the red zone one, right? Say both teams. Yeah, that power to me is gonna you're gonna have games like that where like it's been but don't break, where that speed, yeah, you're gonna get trunk plays, but then that defense tighten up in that red zone. Next thing you know, you get another field goal. Another field goal. Or you work for it on fourth and you don't get it.
SPEAKER_03Dude, all right, bro. I want to skip down to the skip down to the south, bro, because I've been seeing some uh seeing some things that the Texans might have a pretty good year um with Montgomery in that red zone. Um one of the I mean one of the thing or like one of the reason like big reasons they traded for him was just power like I mean just the power. Power. Yeah, just power and power and consistency. No, consistency for sure, because I mean and health. Joe Mixon. Like honestly, like the last like because I think he did like he did like three years in um Chicago and two and or maybe like or maybe three and three. Yeah, I think it were both. In um Chicago and Detroit, and I think he had three uh ten-yard or ten touchdown seasons. One of them was in his second year in Chicago, and then his first year in Detroit. So um, and then he kind of dec he kind of I mean, didn't even like didn't fall off, but kind of declined a little bit his his other few years in Detroit. Um carries. I mean the ball Marty Gibbs. Yeah, I was gonna say, yeah, because I think he was a lot I don't he might have been there by himself his first year, I want to say. I think Jameer got drafted his second year, or maybe he was there his first year too, but um just wasn't as big of part as the team wasn't as big of a part as the team um his first year. But I think um potentially the Texans are definitely a definitely a problem in that um in that AFC South. Um I mean they they won the division last year, didn't they? They made it out or was it uh I think it was the or was it the Jags? Did the I don't remember did the Houston did the Texans have a wild card spot?
SPEAKER_04Can't be I can't I think the Jags might have Yeah yeah Jags won because they played they hosted Buffalo Buffalo but but but Buffalo and Houston had to go to Pittsburgh. Yeah, because Pittsburgh won a division last year and Houston had to go to Pittsburgh last year, and Houston won, and then that's why they yeah, yeah. So Jacksonville, yeah. So that's you know, I guess it depends on Jack, you know, it's gonna be we'll see if Trevor Lawrence can do the first time or do the or for the first time in his career have back-to-back winning seasons. Um that'll be like back to back playoff seasons. Well just winning. I mean, you can have a winning season and not go to playoffs, but even if they I mean we'll you know, because that AFC is gonna be tight. He hasn't had a back-to-back playoff season, though. No, yes, I'm saying he's only made a playoffs twice.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Um But I mean, now you got So they're gonna have to the Titans. I mean, we were talking a little bit earlier in the episode about Dan Jones re-sounding to the Colts. I think the Colts are like the Titans. I mean, I think the Colts are gonna be fighting in that division as hard as they can as well. Um I mean I see them get Riley Leonard, so I mean that's what he does. I mean that's I still see them probably getting like six, seven, maybe eight, eight wins. I mean eight wins. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04If they got a healthy Dan Jones, um fucking from what yeah, he's not as ready, he's not starting week one. We know that for sure. Dan Jones? Yeah, they ain't said one word about him starting. No. He got a torn Achilles at the age of like damn near 30. In the middle of the season, it's no way he's ready. Have you seen how Tatum came back from that? That's 27 versus 30 and Tatum. That's no, that's football, it's different. Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_00But um I don't know. I mean, yeah.
SPEAKER_03We also got I mean, I I mean I honestly I think that like I I think that all three of those other teams in there have a bit more potential than the Colts do, to be honest, because like what you said, I'm I'm I'm a bit of a watching the Titans. I'm hoping the Titans do Cam Ward. I'll fuck with Cam. Yeah, I'm definitely excited to see what the Titans can do. I'll fuck with Cam Ward. They got it's I mean it's tough. They don't have a big they don't have a like they don't have a receiver that they can really go to. Like if it really comes down to it, like they picked up um picked up Cornell Tate, number four pick, but is Calvin Disney is Ridley still on the team? Okay, so I mean I guess he can I guess he's still got Ridley over there one and two, but um I mean we saw how he did with Ridley last year. It just was not well rookie. He's a rookie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and Ridley was hurt.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, probably Cam War can take a year. Yeah, yeah, I know for sure. Hopefully he can take some next steps going into this next year. I'm playing for him. Um maybe not make a playoff spot, but at least just make a push, at least make things interesting.
SPEAKER_04You know, we'll see, man. Who knows? They might. Yeah, I mean that the that they picked up a lot. They did good this year, man. They did really they picked up a lot of solid players in free agency. They drafted good, like Titans. I mean, they might not be far off them.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I think we've seen it happen before recently. I think come I think a little bit up like come Christmas time, after Christmas time, that division could could be all like all like it could be all locked in tight. Like at that point, anybody could make a run for the number one spot. So go up, go up one division. Um bunch of Bengals. Bengals, Steelers, Ravens, Browns. Um I mean, I know you're I know you're high on your boys this year. The division's probably um I wouldn't say the worst it's been in a minute for I mean, just the other three teams, but the Bengals probably, I'd say on on paper, might have the best team. Um maybe not. I mean, it's I mean it's a toss-up of Baltimore. Baltimore's got a I mean they've got a proven offense, but they'll also never make a they've never made a AFC championship, have they?
SPEAKER_06No.
SPEAKER_03No, so never made. Okay. Loss against Kansas City. Yeah. They haven't made a Super Bowl though, so that's that's one thing you guys have on them. I mean, what I mean, what do you think about what I what do you think about those statements I just had to say um about Ravens Bengals? I mean, how how close do you think it'll be between you guys realistically? Because personally, I don't think this I mean, Steelers could be in there, but I think Rogers being 40-year-old quarterback, um, I mean, he he looked pretty good last year, but barely got to the playoffs. Um, and they didn't didn't look good in that playoffs. I just don't think he has enough around him.
SPEAKER_01Um got Pittman.
SPEAKER_02Um, and I feel like dude, bro, wh whenever whenever they go down or whenever sh whenever it's not going right for Rogers, he just gets pissed. He just gets pissed, and you can tell that when shit's not going right for him, um, just kind of throws his helmet.
SPEAKER_03Just fucking throws a little pity party. Um, he's still aware though. Yeah, he is. He is. Still. Yeah, and I mean we'll see if he can see if he can do something. And I mean, probably probably last year, I'd imagine. Probably, yeah.
SPEAKER_04One of the best quarterbacks I've ever seen in my life, personally. He did sling it. It's a monster. Phenomenal for us. I mean, you know, even though he's in our division, but you know, that was a bad man for the time before this dude just said that was a bad man.
SPEAKER_02I mean, he's watching. Bro, I mean, he had Devontae Adams in his prime, bro.
SPEAKER_01Devontae Adams in his prime is kind of all you need, bro. Not really. Throw that bitch up to Devontae.
SPEAKER_04You know where he they drafted him at? In the fourth round. They got lucky with him, bro. Rogers? Or Devontae.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Or they drafted zero first round offensive players in Aaron Rodgers' tenure. Listen to what I'm saying to you, bro. Zero first round offensive players in Aaron Rodgers' tenure. Think about how long he played. You don't believe me? Anybody out there that's watching? Look it up. I mean, my boy. Not a wide receiver, not a running back, not a lineman, not a tight end. Wow, none of that, bro. I mean, this guy just threw fucking darts for years in impossible places. The placement was ridiculous, bro. I never seen a quarterback so accurate, even on a run. It didn't matter what you did to him. You rushed him, or he stands in a pocket, it's on the money every fucking time. You know what I'm saying? Like, A. A. Ron was a problem, man. I mean, he's just, you know, he didn't auto, he didn't get it done in the playoffs. That was his knock. San Francisco is one of the teams that kind of held him back a lot. Every time he ran into San Francisco, for some odd reason he just couldn't beat him. Um, every time. It didn't matter if he was in Lambeau, if he was in fucking Levi Stadium. He just, you know, from what I can see or what I don't remember or notice, every time he played against San Francisco, he lost. Against Kaepernick, against fucking goddamn fucking Caroppolo. And against Prior. Look, I mean it's San Francisco. Pretty sure it's in the playoffs, they lose this game. Like, every time he lost in him. So, um, yeah, moving on to that. I just think what do you I mean because I feel like the main Browns would be I'd be interested on Browns, yeah. Interesting. I mean, they're not gonna do shit, but I just mean Shador does.
SPEAKER_03And I think the main like Bengals, I mean, I mean I mean I'm I mean one of the I mean some of those subventional games are the bo are of course gonna be um a little bit crazy. You guys might have one game where you lose to Steelers or Browns, maybe. It's that one that one off, which like that might might do you a little bit, but um I think for the most part Bengals and Ravens should be um toss up for the winner of that division.
SPEAKER_04Um I wish uh they're probably still giving it to a few of them.
SPEAKER_02Who do you guys got a running back?
SPEAKER_04Who do you guys got a running back? Chase Brown.
SPEAKER_02Chase Brown, yeah, that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_04I mean, look at that placement, B. Back shoulder, that's just nuts, bro. Throwing a cra that's crazy. Uh yeah, Chase Brown. I like Chase Brown. He played good the last year, he's out over a thousand both years. He's had open the last two years. He's played good. Um just didn't have Burrow last year. You know, but only thing going into that, going in our favor, he hasn't knocked on wood, one, two, three. He hasn't ever had back-to-back seasons where he was hurt. So um it's been three years where he's missed. Substantial time.
SPEAKER_03You know, torn ACL in 2020. Dude, you just want to risk in 2023.
SPEAKER_04I should put some bets on the back. I'm not putting no bets on none of my boys, man. I want to see them play. I don't want to bet, I'm gonna be able to get away. You know, I don't want to do it. I just want to let them do their thing. I'll do it for you, bro.
unknownDon't worry.
SPEAKER_04That's fine. We can do that, but uh yeah, bro. I'm not I think we can, like I said, the schedule uh how we starting off as long. as Burrow stays healthy. As long as there's no issues with that, I don't think there's no way we not getting at least the AFC championship. Minus, like I say, any injury.
SPEAKER_03There's no way we're not getting to the AFC chip.
SPEAKER_04No way we shouldn't get to the AFC championship. I mean I do. I I really I do. I I think this is an important year for for us. We know it. The players know it. The front office knows it. That'd be nice. We did things we've never done. I mean we we traded away the 10th pick we spent money in the offseason which we never fucking do for months on defend on all defense we we drafted pretty decent we drafted defense and yeah so um that's the only thing that's kind of been the issue for us even with shit Flacco came in last year. If our defense was top 15 last year when Burrow got hurt when Flacco came in we would have won damn near every game Flacco was there because we still put up almost 30 every game Flacco was there. That was kind of crazy against fucking Chicago. Well dude against like bro that's if if our defense would have been good or decent the last three years we wouldn't have missed the playoffs. Burrow can only in Flacco those they chase and Higgins and all those players can only play one side of the field.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03It don't matter if you put up average 30 points a game if you don't get no James you don't got no Travis Hunter even Travis Hunter isn't going to play both sides of the ball anymore though and he's just playing offense though.
SPEAKER_04Yeah you don't want that in NFL that's not substantial that's not going to get you that's you're going to get hurt like how he did. Didn't even finish a goddamn season. Yeah trying to play both sides and this motherfucker hurt middle of the season out for the season. So that's another thing up on defense we'll see what he does we'll see what Travis Hunter does you know with Jacksonville this year. He could be a major game changer for them but yeah I'm hoping we we pull it on man yeah only thing that can stop us is play calling Zach Taylor bitch ass which I couldn't fucking stand um we should have got fired we should have fired his ass and got fucking Mike Tomlin or some shit or John Harbaugh didn't know John Harbaugh he was going he was going he was going to the Mecca why wouldn't he want to coach Joe Burrow he was going to the big apple I guarantee Cincinnati was hoping he'd have considered that coaching Joe Burrow and Chase why not you got everything you need right there you want to go to New York why not you wanted to bro you wanted to go to New York bro you didn't want to go to no Cincinnati Ohio get a chance to beat your pre Ohio the team that lets you go and you get a chance to beat them twice the Ravens and you got Joe Burrow as your quarterback oh yeah you crazy you don't think he's taking that opportunity he's gonna think about it he might not say yes but he's gonna think about it I get to play against Baltimore twice but he but he don't got the but he doesn't have anything against Baltimore though I don't hey man he got fired they just put it in they let go it was time to go for him he won one Super Bowl yeah I guess I I I guess if he got fired then he's got a little against him but yeah but yeah like I said I got us winning that getting getting to the AFC championship at least uh next time we out we'll cover cover the rest of the NFC NFC and our takes on that so and uh we'll have a World Cup champion too
