Making Hard Easier | Stop Working Against Yourself
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the things in your life that feel hard… didn’t have to be?
Most people don’t realize how often they’re reinforcing struggle—through their thoughts, their words, and the way they relate to what’s happening.
This episode is not about ignoring challenges or pretending things are easy.
It’s about recognizing where you may be working against yourself… and shifting into a way of being that creates more ease, clarity, and flow.
Because when that shifts, everything shifts.
✨ In this episode, we explore:
• Why “hard” might not be what you think it is
• The subtle ways you may be working against yourself (without realizing it)
• A simple shift that can change how your entire life feels
• What happens when you stop reinforcing struggle
• The real reason some things feel heavier than they need to
• And a powerful question that can open everything
This episode is an invitation to release the identity of struggle… and step into a way of being where you are supported, resourced, and capable.
You don’t have to live a hard life.
✨ Watch / listen and notice:
Where are you making things harder than they need to be?
And what becomes possible when you allow it to be easier?

Hey everybody, Janet Eichhorst here. Welcome. Today we are going to talk about making hard easier. Or if you really want to go for it, making hard easy. Now, I'm not talking about spiritual bypassing here. I'm talking about ways that you can be in the world where you're not getting in your own way, being your worst enemy, and accessing the amount of power and resources and skills that you have available to you as an infinite creator being. And the first thing really, and I know these might be reminders for some of you, and it's important enough in my world to go over them now. Because, like I've we've talked about before, change is here and lots of it. And if I have a belief system, so this is first, recognize the power of your inner thoughts and your belief systems. I went through a pretty significant period of my life where it was a hard phase. And what I mean by that is it was a particular period of growth, that's true, that was challenging to me on a lot of levels, true, and stretched my abilities and my capabilities. And I had gotten used to, gotten into the habit of saying things are hard. That creates a state that every time I say that, it reinforces it. That's the power we have in our mind with our hearts. Okay, this is not just theoretical. This isn't just a mind, sort of a surface-level head thing that we're gonna do here today. We're gonna get down to some very specific energetics and ways that you, as an embodied soul, can make things in your life that you have labeled as hard to lighten them up, to change the dynamics enough so you're not living in that hard space. That hard space invites that dynamic of victim. It's hard. There's almost not quite a poor me, but there can be when it's taken to an extreme and becomes a state. You don't need to do that today. So I would love for you today. I'm inviting you today to pay attention in awareness to those ways that you contribute to your life being hard. So let's just take a moment here and put one hand on your sacred heart and one hand on your belly and breathe. This is so powerful. Okay, we're gonna just open the field more and bring in potentialities for you specifically, as guided by your highest levels. I there's no force. This is all about you working with you. This is an empowerment channel, Janet Icorst, empowerment channel. I am here for you to have greater, greater access to the bigger you. So that's what I'm inviting you right now to open up that access with your breath and your focus. We talked about the neurological system in episode 20. This is episode 21. And that fight or flight state, the sympathetic state. When we use our breath and breathe deeply into our belly, that's a sign to our nervous system that we're not being chased by a tiger, that we are not in danger. And we are using this today for you right now to open up access to more of your greater self. And if you forgot what an amazing, outstanding, awesome being of love light that you are, remember that now.
SPEAKER_00You're important and you're vital here. Alright, there we go.
SPEAKER_01So breathe a little deeper, and I want to say just breathe, especially with your whole torso engaged.
SPEAKER_00This is front and back. Breathe. Oh, there we go.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so there's plenty of higher energetics available to you right now to help you have more access. So let's look at this hard state. As I've started to say, I went through a period of my life where life was hard. I mean, that was my perspective on it. And one day I realized I heard myself, I heard that come out of my mouth, and I was like, wow, I'm working against myself. Right? When I identified what specifically was a challenge to me, that was way, way, way more helpful. And when we consider when things are challenging to us, what level is it challenging? Is it physically challenging? Is it emotionally challenging? Is it spiritually challenging? Is there something about a dynamic in the collective that's trying or is there that's influencing me in some way? All these things are important. When we identify and unpack what the hard part is, then we can use our greater resources, our creator ability to shift.
SPEAKER_00Just keep breathing, just keep breathing, your whole body engaged. Your whole body.
SPEAKER_01And I um I recognize that. And so this is a perfect example where I could, you know, say, oh, it's so hard. And I love this, right? I love that I get to get stretched out. There, um, I talked to my sister on the trip, and I was telling her that it was hard. I actually used that word, to car camp. And I told her that it was so important for me to do this because it it gets me out of my habitualized patterns. And I know that me, I mean, we've all got our missions, the things that we do here that are meaningful, and the way I work with the earth and the energetic grids of the of the planet are very important to me. And I had some beautiful experiences. And this is such a prime example about how I could use my focus in a positive way. You know, when I when my dog was going, you know, an hour and a half before sunrise, because I forgot to put the shield on the back window because it ends up being a big picture window for her to look out. And there happened to be a herd of horses right there, some in the park that we were staying in and some corralled. But, you know, it starts to get light out, and Gracie looks at him and she's like, you know, and I'm um probably on just a few hours' sleep at that point, and I didn't want to hold on to that as a hard moment, right? I just, it's like, okay, what do I need to do? Where did I put the cover for the window? Let me get that up. And the most beautiful thing is we got up to watch sunrise. Right? We were in Monument Valley, it's absolutely gorgeous. The horses, she had a full, a beautiful baby horse that was just precious, you know, and still unstable on her feet. I mean, it was magical. And I didn't want to focus on that hard part of it. Right? I get to use that physically. There are certain things with car camping that are more challenging when then when I'm sleeping in my bed. And I don't let that define my experience. I get to move beyond that, I get to pay attention to my focus, and I get to pay attention to my words. What stories do I tell people about that trip? Do I repeat the dog growling story as a way of keeping that hardness active? Or do I talk about the beautiful horses and the beautiful sunrise and the incredible view when we took that walk that morning and saw all of Monument Valley? That's a choice. That's a choice about how I use my focus, how I pay attention, not in a hyper-vigilant way, but in a real way, so that I can have an easier life, because that's all about perspective. And so when I car camp, it's a way for me not to put too much emphasis on physical uncomfortability. Is this ringing a bell with anybody? The level of exhaustion right now is really, really high for a lot of people and for me too. And here I am in this window doing this really important and valuable work because it matters, and I want to. Things that, hmm, I want to say what I'm feeling right now is things that are just like it's crunchy, like it's like, ugh, I want to do it, but I can't, and it's just like how do I go for it? And that could be physically, I don't have the energy to do it. I feel exhausted. And in some moments, we need to simply rest. And in other moments, we need to move. And this whole trip, when we were, I was getting ready to head home. Um, we ended up going into Colorado, and um my guidance system was saying that I needed to go into Mesa Fair Day, and I was like, ooh, it's already a five-hour drive home. That will add another hour to my trip. It's in the opposite direction, and that hard idea that I'm exhausted, all that mind chatter that wanted me to create a story that that was too hard. And I knew better. So, what did I do? I took time, I took that time to breathe, to be with myself, and to get to the truth of what was the next thing for me to do. And you know what? It was to go to Mesa Verde, and I did. And it was spectacular, the things that happened. And I get signs, right? Like I literally turned right, which was to go to Mesa Verde versus left, which was home. And then I was like, hang on a second, is this the right thing to do? Pause. Let me pull over, and lo and behold, I look up and I got a sign, a big sign. And I just started cracking up. I was like, okay. So in that moment, what was the important thing for me to do? Be in the now. My human mind had put together the story that if I did all these things, I would be too tired and it would be hard.
SPEAKER_00And I made it home after 10 last night, and it was fine.
SPEAKER_01I stretched the capacity of my being. And when that's in alignment, that's the thing to do. With these changes, I don't want to be attached to what was. I don't want to be living in the past. I want to be living in the now. And also on that day, there were three other things that I wanted to do that if I was on the road, I couldn't do. When I determine what the most important thing for me to do in this moment, that helps take away some of the hardness.
SPEAKER_00All right.
SPEAKER_01And allow these energetics to clear out old thinking pathways, limiting thoughts, so that you don't have to live a hard life. And you don't have to be victimized by hardness.
SPEAKER_00That's big.
SPEAKER_01I want to cycle back around here a little bit to what in what way deconstructing why I think it's hard. So it's just a belief that it's hard, and you can just like let that go and that story go, boom, let it be gone. If it seems to hang around a little bit and you need to deconstruct it, do. So on this trip, I'm just using this as my most recent example. There was a physical challenge to it. You know, um, a Highlander is not a huge car, right? And I made a blood bed platform back there. So to get things and to do things, to brush my teeth, to do these things, it's it's more challenging. So, okay, I know ahead of time that this is gonna be more challenging than when I'm at home. So I prepare for it, right? So this is how we use our mind in positive ways. So if you have something that's hard, look at what's hard about it and see how you can assist yourself in the process so that it's easier. This seems to be so simple. And when we're in our lives, we sometimes forget these things. The power we have to make shifts in how we do things, how we act, how we talk, that lighten our load. Right? When things get hard physically, emotionally, things can get hard for me, right? I got to recognize that. So there's an inner relationship between that. And when I'm out of my comfort zone of my house, there can be spiritual challenges in that too.
SPEAKER_00So I get to look at all those levels and in each moment take the action to ensure that I use the power and the resources at my disposal.
SPEAKER_01Prayer, that power of God consciousness. Am I tapped into my heart? Is there an old pattern here? Am I feeling the freedom of this moment? Am I putting pressure on myself? This is a really good one where we make our lives, we can make our lives very hard by putting pressure that things need to be done in a certain time way, time frame, or certain way. That can be so challenging. And then we always feel like we're kind of behind, right?
SPEAKER_00We don't have to do that anymore.
SPEAKER_01Wow, there's so much energy here available. Allow yourself to release what no longer is available or no longer is required to keep you limited. And allow yourself greater access to your power, your resources, your ingenuity. There are a couple times on this trip where I just made a simple little thing and I was like, well, that was easy. And there's a little game I like to play. What if it were easy? What if it's the it's the positive what if game? What if, da-da-da-da-da-da-da? Wouldn't that be great? And I might go on a couple other another, you know, a couple other ways where it could be great. And then I let it go and be in the moment and do the next right thing. We what if so many times in the negative way and not the positive way.
SPEAKER_00This is a really great way to retrain your brain, retrain your being to allow yourself to be more free to allow things to be easier for you. So we're gonna finish here with a couple deep breaths.
SPEAKER_01We just hit 20 minutes, and I want you to receive everything that you possibly can from your source, the source, from consciousness itself that will help you ease your life.
SPEAKER_00It's right here.
SPEAKER_01Let yourself be a rock star in your life as we go through these gigantic changes in our world.
SPEAKER_00So much love, so many blessings to you. Until next time.
unknownBye bye.
