Welcome to The Healing Heart Experience! 🤍

Are you ready for the next level of what God has for you? In this space, we dive deep into what it truly means to engage in active preparation. True elevation requires us to look at what’s already in our hands. If God can trust us with the little things, He can trust us with the greater things.

In this episode, we unpack the powerful truth of Galatians 6:9—reminding us that our current season is not just a waiting room; it's a training ground.

Inside this episode, we talk about:

Stewarding the Now: Why taking care of what God has already given you and called you to is the secret to promotion.

Executing the Assignment: Faithfully showing up for the current tasks on your plate, because faithful stewardship in the small things builds the character needed for the big things.

Staying Focused: How to keep your head in the game, block out the noise, and remain locked into your God-given purpose.

The Promise of the Harvest: Understanding that we will reap a reward, but only if we refuse to give up and stop.

If you’ve been feeling weary or wondering when your breakthrough is coming, consider this your divine reminder to keep pressing forward. Your season of reaping is tied to your willingness to not grow weary in well-doing.

Up, everybody. Welcome to the Healing Heart Experience. My name is Taylor Brandy. I am your host, and oh y'all, I am coming to you from the comfort of my bed today. I'm sorry, I just knew that if I got up out this bed and tried to do this recording anywhere else in my home, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would not make it. I would not make it so I just and if you know me, then you know I am just one of those people who I look at things and I'm like, oh, I need it to be perfect, I need to be in order. But at the end of the day, I said, you know what, I'm just gonna flow with the spirit and I'm just gonna keep on moving because it just is what it is. I struggle with structure, y'all, because if it is not structured, if there is not order, if if it's not crazy, like almost perfection, I literally will just and I know that that is something that God is working with me on because everything just does not need to be perfect as long as it is in his will, and um as long as it is flowing according to what he needs to flow, it does not have to be perfect, right? He doesn't require us to be perfect, and that is still something that I am currently struggling with, y'all. So it's not like I've already walked out of the whole perfectionism thing, but I'm walking out of it. I'm learning to speak it in the past and not speak it into the future because it it hinders, perfectionism hinders, y'all. It really does, even though we think that it is just the best thing ever. Like, okay, well, you know that person, they love everything to be perfect, so no, it's not, it really isn't. It does hinder you because it'll stop you from doing what God has called you to do, like this. If it does not look perfect in your eyes, it will stop you from doing what he has called you to do because you are just focused on what it looks like and not what it actually is, right? And not the bigger picture because we lose sight of the bigger picture when we sit on the perfectionism. And I wanted to say that because that was really on my mind today. Like, girl, why are you sitting and waiting for everything to be so perfect? Why are you waiting for the perfect background? Why are you waiting for the perfect backdrop? Why are you waiting for the perfect room for the perfect place? It's not this, it's it's it's it's it's never gonna come if you don't move, right? What you desire and the places that God wants to take you, you'll never get there if you don't move. Faith requires action. I love that saying because it absolutely does like an act of faith, act of faith, not a dead faith, an act of faith. So it requires action, it requires you to move and it requires you to do the things that God has absolutely called and told you to do, even though it may really make me itch that there's no structure or that something is not in order or how I want it to be, I have to know that God has his hands all over it, and I'm learning to trust that. And I know I'm not the only person who struggles with this, but I'm learning to trust that regardless of what it looks like, it's not about the perfection, it's simply about doing the will of God and assuring that it is his glory. His glory okay, not yours. It is not about you, it is never about you, it is always about the glory that goes to God. It is always about him, it is always about the reward that you receive from simply being obedient. And I was reading, well, I've been my Bible study um group has been in um the book of Joshua for like the last few weeks. And let me tell y'all, that book, okay, that book is just completely structured on obedience and instruction. Those are the two words that just kept on popping up in my head every chapter that I read or reread, whatever, every time I read it, it just popped in my head obedience and instruction, and that's something that I feel God has just been speaking into my heart over the last um few months because not just with the move that I made with my job, but simply everything in my life is just based off of instruction. What is the directive that God has given you? Because if we think about it, we sit sometimes and we get weary because we feel it's okay, God, when are you gonna do this? When are you gonna move? But have we really taken the time to sit and think like, what has God given me now that I need to focus on? You know, what what what assignments has God placed in my hands right here, right now, that I need to focus on? Because let's think about this. The current thing that God has you doing, the current directive that he's giving you, where he has you right now is simply just active preparation for where you're about to go. It's active preparation for where you're about to go. So it's not that you're waiting and he's not hearing you, it's not that, and the crazy thing is that he's already moving the chess pieces. You just can't, you can't see it with your eye, but you have that's where faith comes in. That's where you have to know that he has the board in front of him and he's already getting the chess pieces where they need to go, so that when you do get to that place, everything is in order for you, everything's already prepared for you. It's going to be like that. Why? Because he's already been doing this, he's been working on it already. You get what I'm saying? So, with that being the case, it's like, do you have an act of faith at this time? Like, are you waiting on God and doing the things that He has already placed you in and prepared you for right now, and being a good stole, a good steward over what he has already given you, right? In preparation for where he's about to take you. In preparation for where he's about to take you. Because remember, where you were before, this is where we have to go back to history sometimes. Because remember where you were a year or two ago, that prepared you for where you are today. This very moment, this very second, this very this very place that you stand, that what happened to you two years ago, three years ago, four years ago, five years ago, a decade ago, is what's prepared you for right here, right now. And what's happening to you right here, right now, you will see will be what prepared you for what's to come. And sometimes we just have to sit in it and understand that it is not punishment, it is not us lacking anything because the Bible says that we would lack for nothing, right? We are lenders and not borrowers, we are the head and not the tail, we are above and not beneath, so therefore, we will lack for nothing. He will always provide for us, right? However, the preparation is required, preparation is required, and we have to you know remember this. We have to remember that God is not leaving us in the desert, he is simply preparing us for what he has to come. So that means that while you are waiting, you are still to serve. And I remember thinking to myself, and I said, Lord, how do you how do I serve while I'm waiting? Well, like I said, one, you just continue to do what God has already given you to do, right? You continue to follow instruction, continue to be obedient in your right now. If we could focus on the right now and stop focusing on the tomorrow, the Bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow. We don't need to worry about tomorrow, we need to worry about today, we need to worry about the right now, we need to worry about where God has us at this time. Can we be good stewards over what he has already given us? Can we do what he has already called us to? Before he can trust us with the greater, can he trust us with the least? Before he gives you that thing you're looking for, the thing that he promised you, can he trust you with the right now? Can you carry this while you're in your waiting season? Can you continue to do this and that while you are sitting and holding on to the faith that you have that God will do what he promised to do? And this is a faith-building stage. This is a faith-building stage, y'all. Let me tell you something about entrepreneurship. And I'ma I'ma I'm gonna tell y'all this right now. With entrepreneurship, I've learned that my dependency is directly like God literally put me in a business that I could be 10,000 up, 2,000 down. Okay, one month you could be 10,000, the next month you could be 1,500. You don't know what that's going to look like. But see, I came from knowing what my paycheck would look like every single other week, um, bi-weekly, to not knowing what the income is gonna look like each month right now, right? And saying, Okay, God, what is this about to look like? And having the ups and downs. But I say all that to say that in that I've learned to depend on my father to know that he is my source in every single thing, not having that paycheck coming in every two weeks regularly has literally, literally opened my eyes and literally caused me to say, Okay, God, this is all on you. You gave me this directive, you told me what to do, so this is your problem. And when we get to a space where we start to say, All right, I was obedient, I did what you told me to do. So now these finances, that's your problem. Okay, it's my problem, it's it's it's my job to be good steward over them, but it's your problem to provide them. I'm not stressing myself out about this. I'm gonna do this thing because you said do it. I'm gonna do this thing and I'm gonna trust you and I'm gonna have faith in it. However, these are not my problems. Tomorrow is not my problem. This right here, the finances for today is not my problem. It is literally on you, father. And I'm I'm letting it go. I'm relinquishing my rights to this right now, okay? My control, I should say. I'm relinquishing my control over this because at the end of the day, it is what you desire for me, and I'm just here as a vessel to serve and do what you have called me to do. But does that mean it is easy to say that and easy to do that? No, it's not because let's be honest, we are human and we like our money. Can we be honest? We human and we like our money, right? We like to be able to move and do the things that we want to do and spend, you know, the change that we want to change, and just make and let things happen how we desire them to happen. But let me tell y'all, God will bring you to a place where you will understand your total dependency is on Him. And if I can be honest, this particular space that I am in is I I believe that the spirit of the Lord brings everyone to a part of their life where a time in their life where they find out, like, yeah, you knew you'd had to depend on God, but have you really had to depend on God for the things that you used to just have in your palm of your hand? Ooh. Have you had to depend on God for that thing that you could just go pick it up and walk out the door with before? Now it's not there, and you're like, God, when you gonna put it back? Like, what am I supposed to do? There are times where he begins to break you down onion by onion, you know, and it's not just financially that he has been working with me, but simply just many things that I have found myself, the spirit of the Lord speaking to me about the way I talk, the way I react, you know, um, how I deal with people, how I handle people. Those things have just come up to me recently over you know the weeks and the months and so, and God has just literally been revealing these things to me. And I'm like, Okay, God, you're doing the work, I see it. Let me just get focused and and and work on not allowing my mind to think overthink things, but to hear what you are saying to me clearly, and then move with your directive, walk with your guidance, instruction, follow your instruction. You know, this week, honestly, I found myself struggling, y'all. Like, I found myself struggling to hold on to what I truly knew God was going to do. I found myself struggling to sit down and study, I found myself struggling to pray, like I just found myself in a space where I just knew that I had allowed what I felt to kind of overtake my process at that time. And I had to say, okay, God, I don't have the words right now, I don't even have the scriptures right now. But Father, I need you to pour something into me that will ignite and waken up what I know is there. Not just that, but I need your help to get out of this space, okay, that I am currently in, because my spirit knows that you are going to do it. But my physical man right now is is talking, and I need you to redirect that thing. But in saying that, I say that because I think it's important that people know that just because you know that God has promised this to you does not mean that there may not come a time where you will feel a little weary. Now, the Bible does tell us in Galatians 6 and 9 to not let ourselves become weary. Because at the end of the day, in due time, we will reap exactly what it is that God has for us. And also, the thing that I love about that scripture is it also tells us that if we do not give up, that's the part that I really feel stands out in that scripture. Because yes, do not become weary in well-doing, right? However, you will reap it at the proper time, however, do not give up. It's the do not give up part. Because if you give up, you do not get to reap it, right? You do not get it because you gave up, you won't get to see that. Let me tell y'all something. I've been in this thing too long. I have come too far to give up. So many of us has have been fighting these battles, or I won't say fighting these battles, but so many of us have been in these storms or in these spaces so long that it is too, it's harder to give up than it is to push through. And if I'm the only person, if I'm the only person, then I don't know. But I feel for me, it's harder for me to give up now than it is for me to push through. Because I've been in here too long, I done been in this good fight. How they say I've been fighting the good fight for too long to let it go now. I done had my faith tried too many times, I done had so many hits from the world, boom, boom, boom, left and right too many times to let go of what I know the father told me was coming. And I refuse to lose out. I refuse to lose out because I got weary on the race. I refuse to lose out. It reminds me of a marathon, it reminds me of a marathon, and the whole goal of the marathon is for the um person running to reach the end of the marathon, right? So when you do something like a 5k, which I believe is like maybe three miles, if I'm correct, three plus miles, maybe 3.3, something of that nature. And when you do that, the goal is for you to do what? Start and finish, right? So you want to start and then you want to finish, but you also in between that have to go through a process. So you have to go through a process of running wherever the marathon trail is, wherever the tracks are, you're going through a process of running. And as you are running, you're finding yourself needing to drink water, needing to take little uh energy packets, needing to do these things in between so that you can have enough strength to continue to get to the end. That's where I feel a lot of us are right now. We started and now we're in the process, and it's like, okay, I gotta energize. Okay, I gotta re-up, you know, I gotta get my strength up so I can continue out to the end. Because if I stop right here, right now, I'm not gonna see what the end looks like of this. I'm not gonna get to the end of this marathon. I'm not going to see what God has for me if I stop right here in the middle. I'm gonna delay it actually, and I'm gonna continue to have to run again and a little bit more. Time is just going to pass. More time is just going to pass. So I've come too far to stop here now. And that is what I truly believe. I really truly believe that. You know, I focus on my spiritual growth, I focus on what I can do in the right now, how can how I can help others right now, how I can use what God has given to me, the tools, the gifts, the desires, the things that He has placed in my heart, the visions to bring to life what He needs me to at this time. But not just that, but simply to be able to share with others and give my true honest self vulnerability. Ah, if you know me, then you know vulnerability is something I also struggled with. Because how dare you want to know me? How dare you think I'm about to tell you who I am, and being able to share the experiences that I've had, that's how I felt. Like, what? I'm not getting ready to tell my business, I'm not getting ready to tell my story, I'm not getting ready to share with these people what I got going on in my life. Like, no, that's not happening. And the spirit of the Lord said, uh, but you are with my directive, with my wisdom, with knowledge, you are, you are gonna do those things, and you're going to do it my way. Okay. Okay. But I say all this to say, y'all. Keep going. That is that's the that's the butter on top of the bread. Keep going, do not give up. That's scripture. I love breaking down scripture, y'all, because I feel as though we should look at even the little words and the big words. So um, if we stop, okay, I know the the keyword and the key words in that are stop, right? But if we stop, if if if if we stop, if we look at the word if, it's it's on the condition that, right? Supposing that, right? If we stop, when we think about Galatians 6 and 9, we're going back to that real quick. The part that, like I said, the part that I love was if we do not give up. But I love breaking down scripture because there is a small word in there that matters so much. It says, if, so if we do not give up. And if you think of if it says on the condition that, in the event that, supposedly, right? So it basically says on the condition that we don't give up. So if you don't give up, on the condition, this is not, this is not just oh, oh, oh, well, you know, possibly. No, this is on the condition that, this is on the condition that you don't give up, you will get what you were promised. On the condition that you push through, you will finish the race. On the condition that you hear me and be obedient and do what I ask you to do in preparation for what I have for you, you will receive this. Caleb got his inheritance on the condition that he spent 45 years continuing to believe and trust in God. On the condition that I we could go down the line of people who had a if was if we do not stop. There's a bunch of if we do not stop stories in the Bible. I say all that to say you gotta look at the small words too, y'all. Because those are not all my if y'all really know. I get so excited, y'all. I gotta calm down. I get so excited, y'all, when I get to break down a word, right? But anyway, every word in the Word is purposeful, not just that, but it was on purpose. Because I think if you really take a look at it, you will see how each is placed, how words are placed in the word. Like, really think about how words are placed in the Bible, what comes before what, how it actually looks. Because a lot of times, and and and and research the words, and it will tell you exactly what that word means. If on the condition that, in the event that, in the event that, in the event that you actually do what I told you to do, and you stick to the plan, you will reap the benefits. It's plain and simple. It's plain and simple. I don't know, I don't know if that excited anybody else, but that absolutely excited me. Why? Because I love hearing God, I love hearing what he says and how he says it. That that that gives that if that if okay, that he could have said, when you do not give up, uh, he could have said don't give up. He could have said all this, but he's he wanted you to know that this is in the condition. He wanted you, oh my lord, he wanted you to know that in the event, because this is a choice, right? This is your opportunity to show your faith forward, push your faith forward. This is your opportunity to say, hey, I trust God, I'm gonna keep going. I'm gonna walk this race, although I'm gonna run this race or walk this marathon, whatever. Although I do not know what it's going to look like. Although I do not know what the details are, I'm not the one moving the chess pieces because see we have to learn to relinquish control because we don't have control over nothing. But that's a story for another day. I am the one doing, I am not the one doing this, so I have to trust that my father's hands and I are moving, and I have to trust the plan because he said he has plans for you to what? Prosper. That's word, that's not Taylor talking. Go back and read it for yourself. He has plans for you to prosper. So his word does not come back voiced. See, this is where you have to begin to speak the word into yourself. All right, I'm in this predicament, I'm in this space, I feel like this, but I know the word told me. I know my father said that he plans for me to prosper. So, through all of this, at the end of this, it's going to work out. If y'all ain't gonna get rid of me with that, if if I do not give up, in the on the condition I don't give up, in the event I don't give up. My God, y'all, I just be having fun. You know why? You know why? You know why? Because God literally reveals to you everything that you need, everything that you need, and I literally just sat here and talked to y'all about how I struggled, how I struggled this week to read my word, struggled to pray, struggled to even sometimes get out of my bed because I've started to feel like God, I'm getting tired, I'm getting tired, I'm getting tired. And he brought me to Galatians 6 and 9, and then on the spiff of the moment, he said, if take think about that if, Taylor, think about what I said, if on the condition that you don't give up, I got you. Period. Okay, let's let's let's let's wind that back in. Let's wind that back in because y'all, if you know me, I could go off right now. But I'm gonna let that be because I just trust that there is more. I trust that there is more. And so how do I keep moving, serving while waiting? Well, we already talked about continuing to follow the directive, right? That God has given you. That just means whatever He has given you right now to do, whatever the Father has placed in your hands now, take care of it, be a good steward over it, do well by it, because that right there is what your focus is on, right here. Help others, continue to share the gospel, continue to share your experiences, continue to be a vessel that God is using to do better, to do great things in other people's lives. Continue to serve, serve, serve, serve, and do those things well. Do them with a gratitude with a heart of gratitude. Do them because you know your father is going to do it. Allow your faith to continue to be built and continue to have active faith. That is how you are going to do this, allow spiritual growth. That is how you are going to be able to serve, to move, to keep pushing in your own season of waiting. In your season of waiting. Right there. That really just settled me. Isn't it? It's not crazy. You know what? It's not crazy. Isn't it funny? How God always speaks to you first. He always deals with you first. Listen, okay? He's gonna always deal with you first. He not gonna he he he not gonna send you to give it to nobody else until he deals with you first. And that right there. Ooh, baby. I'm gonna leave you guys with a couple of guiding scriptures. Okay, and these scriptures are scriptures that will help with learning how to continue to move, serve, and and and and and do what God has called you to do while waiting on him to do something in your life. Doing things in what did I say? Active preparation. This will help you with your active preparation. And four scriptures that I have for y'all today is first Peter 4 and 10, Galatians 6 and 9, Colossians 3, 23 through 24, and Isaiah 4 and 31. Those are just four scriptures that I received, um, that I'm giving to you, that I hope will help bring you to a place of absolute understanding when it comes to this, and just knowing that nobody's perfect, nobody's got it right. Okay, we get it wrong all the time. What the song says, we fall down, but we get up. The issue is not falling, the issue is staying there. We all make mistakes, we all have been wrong one time or another, but the issue is not being wrong, it's not falling, it's not uh losing, it's simply staying in that space once it's done. You've got to learn to get back up and keep pushing. So even in your serving, even in your state of giving, continue to have gratitude for what you have and continue to say, okay, God, you've given this to me. Now help me to continually actively prepare for what you have given me. For what you have given me. And I trust that God is gonna do it for you just as He has done it for me, just as He has done it for me. He's gonna do it for you too. Clock that. We're gonna clock that, clock that, okay? Because what he's done for others, he'll do it for you. Okay, we're not gonna start singing, but anyway, y'all. I hope that y'all have an amazing, amazing, amazing night. I love you all. Remember, Jesus loves you even more, and I will see you guys on the next episode. Until then, bye.
